(At the Hyuga Compound)

Hiashi, Hitome, Hanabi, and The Hyuga Elder Hiashi's father were all sitting at the dining table, ready for breakfast.

"Where is Hinata? She is late; does she not know that we are supposed to have breakfast at 7 in the morning?" The Elder said, annoyed at Hinata being late, "First she can't even use the gentle fist, and now she is starting to be late at everything; she is useless."

Hitome clenched her fist under the table, angered at the elder for what he said. She took a look at Hiashi to see him having no emotions on his face, but one look at his pale eyes would tell anyone that even he was angry.

"She was training till late at night; she must have been tired." Hitome said, looking at the elder.

"Training? I never saw her train," Elder said, to which Hitome nodded.

"She told me she was training with some of her friends last night on one of the training grounds, Hitome said, which only seemed to anger the elder more.

"FUCK!" came the voice of Hinata from her room upstairs.

Everyone down at the table was shocked at hearing the kind-hearted Hinata say a curse word. Hinata was trying to wear her clothes in a hurry since everyone who graduated today is supposed to be sorted into teams. As soon as Hinata finished wearing her clothes, she ran out of her room, jumped down to the dining hall, picked up her cup of green tea, and ran out of there.

"Sorry, I am late." She yelled as she jumped over the wall that surrounded the compound, ignoring everyone's shocked faces.

"What just happened?" Hanabi Hinata's sister asked, confused since she had never seen her sister act like that.

"I don't know, dear," Hitome said, just as confused and shocked.

"That's it. Once she comes back, we will have a match between her and Hanabi. I will not have her as the future head of our clan." The elder said he was angry before he got up and left.

--

On the rooftops of the leaf village, a black blur can be seen. The blur was none other than the last Uchiha that was still present in the village.

"I am late! Damn that bastard!" Yelled Sasuke

Sasuke then jumped down from the roof, transformed into an eagle in mid-air, and flew towards the academy.

"Wait for me!" Yelled a female voice.

Sasuke turned his back to see a white owl flying towards him, but this owl had pure white eyes. The owl came up beside him, and they both flew towards the academy.

"So today is the day?" Sasuke said, looking at the owl, who just nodded its head.

"And he is late even today," said the owl with a sigh. "When will he change?"

"Probably never," said Sasuke.

The owl chuckled and saw the academy finally come into view. They both flew to it and landed in front of it, transforming back into humans.

"Sorry, I called you guys an hour early to the academy," said the owl, who was now transformed back into Hinata.

"Hey, it's not a problem for me, Sis. I understand why you do that, to be honest, and if my dad were still alive, I would do the same thing." Sasuke said he patted her head.

Hinata blushed a little from the pat before they both walked into the academy and through the empty hallway to their class.

"Hey... Do you think we would be on the same team?" Hinata asked as they walked.

This made Sasuke stop in his tracks and his slight smile dropped. He had never thought of this. If the three of them weren't in his team, he would probably be stuck with a fan girl and a dumb guy who was jealous of him, and Hinata would probably go in a team that might not suit her at all, like a team that specializes in tracking and locating. This thought scared him. The more he thought about it, his eyes widened, and he started breathing heavily, clenching his chest where his heart was.

"Sasuke!" Hinata shouted, quickly came to his side, and held him before he could fall. "Calm down! Don't think about it; I am here now!" Hinata kept saying it over and over again, but nothing was working.

All of a sudden, the soothing sound of a flute can be heard all over the hallway. Hearing that sound, it felt like the time itself had slowed down for both Hinata and Sasuke.

"I came a little late, and you have a panic attack." I heard the voice of a male over the soothing voice.

Hinata and Sasuke, who by now had calmed down, looked back to see a blonde-haired boy walking to them, playing the flute. He was wearing an orange jumpsuit. He stopped and held his hand out for Sasuke.

"Thanks," Sasuke said, taking his hand and taking a few deep breaths before he stood up.

Hinata let out a sigh of relief upon seeing the boy. "You are late again, Naruto."

"I have a reason," Naruto said before showing his left palm, which had shards of glass stuck on it.

Hinata's eyes widen. "Again?!" She yelled, quickly and carefully removed the shards, and cleaned the blood.

"Why do you let them do this, Naruto?" Sasuke asked, slightly angered.

"They need an outlet for their anger," Naruto said before he flinched in pain. "Hey! Be careful!" He said to Hinata, who had removed a shard very fast,

Hinata didn't say anything and just cleaned the blood while Sasuke sighed and rubbed the back of his head.

"You have been saying that since we met Naruto; tell me when will all of this stop?"

Naruto stayed silent at Sasuke's question and looked away before he felt a hand on his shoulders. He looked at the front to see that Sasuke and Hinata had a hand on each of his shoulders and were smiling.

"I know it's hard to answer Naruto," Sasuke said.

"But know this: the two of us are never leaving your side." Hinata completed the sentence with a smile.

"Promise?" Asked Naruto

"Promise," they both said together.

Naruto smiled at that and hugged them both, which they returned in kind since there weren't many times where they could be like this where they did not have to hide their true selves all the time.

"Now come on, let's get to class." Sasuke said, breaking the hug.

"Yeah, let's go," Naruto said.

--

It had been a few hours since the golden trio had reached their classroom. By now, everyone had started to fill the class up as usual. The first person to arrive was Shikamaru, who raised an eyebrow at seeing the three people, who were basically the polar opposites of each other, sitting together and talking like they had been friends since day one.

"Troublesome," said Nara, walking to his seat and putting his head down, "sleeping."

Soon, one by one, the whole class got filled up, and the fangirls were glaring at Hinata and Naruto for sitting next to Sasuke, but the trio didn't give a single fuck and kept trying to figure out who could possibly be their sensei.

"I swear to God, if it's Kakashi Hatake, I am killing him," said Hinata, looking at the two of her hopefully future teammates.

"Right, you hate perverts," said Naruto with a nervous laugh.

"Hey! I need someone to train my eyes with." Sasuke complained with a small pout.

"Are these eyes not enough for you?" Said Hinata, pointing at her eyes.

"I meant someone who has a good understanding of it," said Sasuke.

Naruto just let out a fake cough and gave Sasuke a deadpan look.

"I mean somebody who actually has it."

"But still, I will kill that pirate wannabe."

"I will test him, and if he doesn't pass, I will help you, Hinata."

Sasuke sighed after hearing the two. Contrary to popular belief, Naruto was not someone who easily forgave someone unless they passed his "test." As he likes to call them and fan fact, nobody, but he knows when this test starts or ends.

'Sometimes I think I am still being tested to this day' I thought ofSasuke before he and everyone heard two fast-paced footsteps heading to the class.

"I WAS HERE FIRST!" yelled a pink-haired girl with a comically large forehead.

"NO, I WAS YOU LYING," yelled a platinum-haired blonde girl whose voice was much lower than the first girl.

"SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU!" Yelled a third voice.

The whole class turned to see the shy and soft-spoken Hinata Hyuga glaring at the two girls who were frozen in fear at the door.

"Don't you two know that there are some people here who have sensitive hearing or ears?" Hinata said, glaring and even activating her eyes.

"Not to forget a person whose ninkin is also vulnerable to noises," said Sasuke, pointing at Shino and referring to his bugs.

Shino nodded to Sasuke, probably thankful that he remembered about his bugs since many forget about them.

"They are correct, Sakura, Ino," said a male voice from behind the two girls, who finally got out of their shock. "Now everyone, get to your seats."

Everyone once listened to him and got to their seats without needing to be yelled at, and Iruka nodded proudly at that.

"Good, now it's time for all of you to be assigned to a team and a sensei, but I must remind you all that..." Iruka said, but the golden trio blocked him out and started meditating.

A few minutes later, Iruka called out team 7, "Naruto Uzumaki." The trio straightened up and focused on their sensei, "Sasuke Uchiha." Both Naruto and Sasuke smiled a little.

Every fan girl leaned closer, hoping to hear their name with their Sasuke, and they even glared at each other.

"And Hinata Hyuga," Iruka completed.

Silence An utter silence followed after that, but Naruto, Sasuke, and Hinata leaned back on their chairs, sighing in relief.

"THIS CAN'T BE POSSIBLE!!" Yelled Sakura "I SHOULD BE WITH SASUKE-KUN, NOT LOSER NARUTO AND THAT FREAK GIRL!!!"

"If you have anything against this, then go and tell the Hokage," said Iruka before continuing to tell the teams, "Their sensei is Kakashi Hatake."

All three of them slammed their heads on the table. They all groaned together.

"Fucking great. I had to be with that pervert," Hinata sighed before she got up.

"It just had to be him," Naruto said, and he got up as well.

"At least I have someone to train with," Sasuke said, following the other two.

"Where are you three going?" Iruka asked

"Kakashi takes almost three hours to get almost everywhere, and none of us have interest in waiting for him," Naruto said, walking out, followed by the other two.

--

The Hokage and the soon-to-be Sensei were in the Hokage's office looking at this year's class and were shocked to see that the new team 7 just walked out after hearing their sensei's name.

"That was... disrespectful," said Kurenai.

"Well, this new generation has been... rebellious." Said Asuma

"That is so unyouthful!" Yelled Gai but was ignored by everyone.

"Hokage-Sama I thought Hinata was going to be on my team." Kurenai asked, confused at the sudden change in the team plans.

"That was going to be the case, but then I thought that it would be better to give you Sakura, as she has great affinity with Genjutsu," said Hiruzen. 'Plus,I don't want my Ichi Ichi gone, though I do agree that this matchup will be more interesting than the previous one I had thought of,'he thought with a poker face.
