Those things lurk outside. Jumping from the roof onto the wall, the floors and back. Searching for them. Long tongues poke out prodding marble statues and metal candle frames seeing if they are hiding there. Slowly they start to encroach on where they are hiding. No one dares make a sound as they steadily grow closer. He isn't even sure if anyone dares to breathe.

Those things out then all suddenly stop. Their heads all turn in one direction before they launch themselves back up on to the roof. Hiding in the shadows ready to ambush anything that happens to fall breath them. From his little pep hole in the wall patterns, he hears the people approaching. "Are you sure this is a good idea." A woman asks sounding both annoyed and worried.

Rhodie watches as Peyton and Jill's head flick to face each other. Horror on their features as they realise people are out there. Out there with those things and have no idea what is about to happen. It seems they are silently asking each other what to do. Risk exposing where they are hiding or try to warn the people. But with both of them without a weapon is the risk worth it. If the monsters come after them they have nothing to protect themselves with.

Then a sound so familiar calls out to him. "Trust me." He rears up at the voice and begins whining and scratching at the door trying to get out. To warn them. Expect he can't do anything as Jill knees on the ground and grabs a hold of him so he can't make any noise. One arm around his legs and the other holding his mouth shut as she pulls him onto her lap.

Outside their little enclave, the voices creep closer. "Sure, let's all trust the half naked woman with memory loss. What could go wrong with that." The first voice responds earning a loud laugh from the third member of their group. A deeper laugh means the third person is a man.

But it's the second voice. The one that he recognises that answers the first woman's question. "I saved both of your lives did I not." Alice jokes back fully stepping into view from where they are. Next to him, Jill freezes. Her grip on him slackens as Alice seemingly appears out of nowhere.

"Alice." She whispers quietly in shock at her mate's arrival. Rhodie whimpers more and tries to get Jill to snap out of it or get Peyton to open the door. Alice is out there with those monsters and she doesn't know.

"Yeah, after your asshole boyfriend tried to kill us." The first woman bites back. Levelling an annoyed but again amused look towards Alice.

Alice in turn halts mid step and turns to face the woman. Her hand on her hips and irritation clear in her voice. "Ok, first he wasn't my boyfriend. And second, I also killed him."

Jill seemingly snaps out of it and utters her mate's name in a frantic panic before moving to rip open the door only for Peyton to grab her and pull her back. He warns her not to open the door citing that the monsters out there don't know they are hiding in here. Jill shoots back that Alice is out there with them. The two of them begin to argue but he listens more to what is happening out there at the same time.

"How can we be sure he wasn't your boyfriend." The man says speaking for the first time. He is limping but whatever happened to his leg doesn't seem to have tampered his spirits. He jokingly looks at Alice and taps on his own head. "You don't remember anything about your life."

An indignation scoff leaves Alice. "I have vague memories of a dark haired woman in my bed. Now Spence was dark haired I will give that. But unless that shirt was very misdirecting he certainly wasn't a woman."

"You know I never took you for-" The woman is cut off when one of those things darts past her. The monsters coming to play it seems. Both Jill and Peyton stop arguing at the sight, but Jill desperately fights against his hold. Begging him to let her go. "Please tell me that wasn't what I think it was." The first woman says glaring towards Alice.

Alice looks up to the ceiling and slowly drops her gaze back to the first woman closing her eyes and sighing loudly. "It was."

"ABERANTHY WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BROUGHT US." The woman shouts as she, the man with them and Alice all pull out their weapons.

One of the monsters tries to dart past them but is blocked when Alice turns faster than he can comprehend and kicks the long benches towards the beast slamming into it. The moving flesh blob rolls on the floor and tries to stand back up its tongue waving around. But again, Alice is faster and fires her shotgun twice into the thing's head making it explode.

The second one tries to jump at Alice when she isn't looking but she manages to throw herself out of the way. It then jumps up to the roof again and races across the walls trying to find a way to take out the group. But the three of them have bunched together leaving no opening for the monster to get them.

The man and the woman with Alice lower their guns but keep their eye peeled. Alice holds her gun in the air slowly moving it around, but a squelching noise attracts her attention to the left of her. Her arm moves and fires just as the monster lunges at them. The shot blows chunks out of its head. Parts that land on the small group much to their and his own disgust.

"Please tell me there were only two." The man groans wiping some gunk off of his face and flicking it to the ground.

"I'm pretty sure it was just the two of them Kap," Alice replies breaking away from the man and woman and stumbling upon what remains of the guy in his group who had the gun. "They have gotten more dangerous." She remarks bending down to pick up the spare gun.

Jill finally breaks free of Peyton and slaps him hard. The sound draws the attention of the three outside. Three guns are pointed towards them. Not that Jill cares as she opens the door and rushes forward with him on her heels. He quickly manages to overtake her, and he darts towards Alice whose eyes widen as he approaches. Jill calls out her name as he rams into her and attacks her face with licks.

She's here. Alice found them. he knew she would come back for them. He knew it. He barks and continues to lick at her as she laughs and tries to push him off. He wiggles in her hold nudging his head into her making her aware of how happy he is to see her. Alice manages to move into a sitting position and when her gaze shifts from him to Jill he freezes. The smile dropped from her face.

His two mothers look at each other in awe. Neither of them moving. Until Alice pushes herself up and whispers Jill's name. Then the two of them collide into each other hugging tightly and kissing madly. Happily, he barks and jumps around them wanting to get involved in the group hug.

They are finally all back together. Rhodie is very happy about that. Now they can leave the city together. Get away from all those monsters.
