(Chapter 11: Take a Step back and Chill)

In the days if not weeks to follow in the aftermath of Izuku's successful defeat of Overhaul, he was happy to take some relaxation from the event of doing so to himself; especially given that while difficult initially due to Endeavor having mentioned him in the briefing of Izuku as his underling and potential sidekick being instrumental in taking down Shie Hassakai. That the Psyker overall was still able to enjoy the remainder of his summer and internship under the Flame Hero, given that between hanging out with Toga, Twice and Mineta and now Eri, and training with his psychic powers that for the young man things could not be better than this.

Especially as the time to soon enroll himself in U.A and truly begin his path towards becoming a true hero would soon begin, to say that he was ecstatic over the circumstances would be an understatement to say the least.

(July 31st, Zenthon, Tokyo, Japan, 998. M41, 1:45 Pm)

It would a decent bit into the summer day as Izuku, Twice and Toga had decided to spend one of their days off going to one of the swim parks in the city, as they decided to take Eri along with them so that the young girl could enjoy her first summer without worry of Overhaul hanging over her head.

"Isn't this nice, Izu. Finally, after all that Overhaul crap, we can finally have a chill day at the swim park." Toga said as she walked over with popsicles in hand towards Izuku in a bright red one-piece swimsuit

"It sure is, and honestly, I am glad that it is finally over…It may take awhile before I can ever have a good nights' rest after what I witnessed. However, now that it means Eri can grow up happy and healthy, it is more than worth it at the end." Izuku replied as Toga plopped down next beside him

"And you're sure that you don't want to talk about it? Whatever you saw; when you went to get rid of that Overhaul guy...I don't know what it was, but it really messed you up. You're my friend and I worry about you." Toga asked her friend

"I am positive, Toga. There are just somethings that you want to forget and what I saw, the thing that Overhaul became and what I witnessed when i defeated him. Those things are something that I wish I could easily forget, even now I still can't fathom what I saw that day. I just know that it was something that shouldn't exist and just that looking at it, made everything feel wrong. Even thinking about it makes me want to vomit." Izuku answered back in regards to his encounter with the Tzeentch empowered Overhaul and his brie encounter with Tzen'Char

"All I do know is that, I hope that I never have to see what I saw ever again. Because, that thing that I saw take Overhaul when I defeated him will haunt my nightmares forever." Izuku further spoke in still feeling the phantom pangs of revulsion from encountering the Daemon Prince

"...I don't know what horror show you saw back there, but it can't hurt or mess with you anymore. Plus, your a mini-celebrity after Mr. Endeavor hyped you up to everyone; about taking down the Chie Hassakai. So that has to count for something?" Toga told him as she sat down on the folding chair to watch Eri being taught to swim by Twice in the shallow end

"It definitely has changed things for me...Honestly, I don't know how to feel about being 'famous' I would call it. It is strange really, to go from a Quirkless nobody to having taken down a crime syndicate and a breakout intern for one of the top heroes…it is a lot to take in." Izuku responded regarding the newfound fame that was being lauded onto him as of late

"Are you gonna be ok to handle it?...If you really want to, I can step in for you and take the heat off." Toga offered as she passed him his grape-flavored popsicle

"I should be fine, and thanks to Mr. Endeavor pulling a few favors. He's allowed me to keep as low of a profile as possible; to continue having as much of a personal life as possible…Something that I am incredibly grateful for, because I am nowhere prepared to handle news reporters or paparazzi just yet." Izuku responded in knowing that while he had grown more confident that he was still gunshy about certain things

"I will not blame you about wanting to deal with those jerks. They just seem really mean for no reason, if you ask me." Toga said back in distaste of reporters overall

"Do you think you could handle them if you were in my shoes?" Izuku asked as Toga ate her cherry-flavored popsicle

"That would be a hard no, Izu. If there is one thing that makes me sick, it is people who are disingenuine. Having to deal with people who have to fake being nice or just won't leave me alone, I think it would drive me crazy and then I just my wind up taking someone's bones or their blood." Toga answered back knowing that she was the wrong person for dealing with papparazi

"Your joking about taking people's bones right?...Should…Should I be concerned that you possibly take people's bones from them?" Izuku asked as Toga ate her popsicle

"The real question is, do you want to know if I do or not?" Toga replied knowing that whatever she answered was going to be nightmare fuel for Izuku

"I-I think for my mental health that I will take a pass on knowing whether or not you do that." Izuku said back in not wanting to add a fresh set of nightmares to add

"That is a good decision, both for you and me." Toga replied as she continued to munch on her popsicle

"So what do we do about, Eri? Now that I'm going to be going away to U.A in a few weeks, you and Mr. Twice working at the Agency full time. On top of who knows what else will happen. I just feel a bit concerned for her safety when we're not there with her." Izuku questioned in regards to the red-eyed young girl who was currently having a blast at the swim park

"I'm sure that we can figure something out. Between Twice and I having our jobs at the agency, I am sure that we can make enough time for our schedules to be with Eri as much as possible. If that doesn't work out, then we can always look into hiring a babysitter while we're away." Toga told him

"That should work out more than fine enough, Mr. Endeavor is surprisingly understanding about scheduling people to work during the day." Izuku said in having seen Endeavor be a strict but fair boss

"Plus, I have vacation days I can use too, to make sure that Eri always has someone to be with." Toga said back

"What about Mr. Twice using one of his clones, couldnt that work?" Izuku asked

"It could, but I don't want to ask that of him…Twice using his Quirk is something that has to be handled 'delicately'. It is an entire thing that I have been helping him through." Toga answered as she looked towards her masked friend who was helping Eri learn to swim

"That's something I have always wondered since meeting you guys? How come I never see him use his Quirk that often? Is there something wrong with him?" Izuku asked once more

"It's complicated, Izu, the one thing I will say is that I don't like him using it too much. I want my friends to stay as put together as possible, and with how much bad luck he's had with his Quirk, I...I don't want him to fall apart." Toga answered back in concerns for her best friend

"I didn't know it was that bad, Toga?" Izuku said as he looked on at the masked man helping Eri to swim

"It is, but its still manageable. It is also the reason why I'm glad we not only have jobs at the agency. We also have Eri, you, and everyone else at the Endeavor agency to kick things off...Thanks to the two of you, our lives have gotten so much better, Izu." Toga said back with a wide smile as she laid her head on Izuku's shoulder

"I'm glad I met you too, Toga. You're a wonderful person to be around." Izuku spoke causing a smile to form on the blondes' face

"Ahhhh, I love being around you too, now come here you!" Toga said as she wrapped Izuku in the biggest hug she possibly could

'Other than what I saw after the raid, I think things can keep getting better…They have too, right?' Izuku remarked to himself as he enjoyed himself around Toga

(3 days later, Tokyo, Japan, 2:40 Pm, 998. M41, August 3rd)

That being said in the days to follow after spending time with his friends and Eri, was he soon enough hanging out with Mineta who was even more hyped given how he had heard the news on how Izuku had taken down Overhaul and them both getting accepted to U.A.

"So on top of you have a busted Quirk, that let's you do just about anything. You also took down an entire army of gangsters, villains. and their boss before summer is over?" Mineta asked the green-haired Psyker

"Yes, yes I did. I had some help to do so and even was able to work with Mr. Hawks as well. It was actually one of the most life-changing events I have ever had happen." Izuku answered back

"If you do not get some action from being a certified badass when we get to U.A, then I don't know what will. You might as well be a certified chick-magnet, my guy! I'm telling you, if we can play this right then you could be 'that guy' by the time our first year is up." Mineta said almost stupefied at how Izuku was able to do something monumentally awesome

"Do you really think I could have a chance?" Izuku asked the shorter between them

"Are you kidding me?! Between you having a super Quirk and taking down a Yakuza gang with a Pro hero, I am telling you this right now. The ladies are going to be all over you before you know it, Izuku! All we have to do is put you out there and before you know it, you will be drowning in al of the poon-tang!" Mineta proclaimed to his powerful psychic of a friend

"I appreciate your help, Mineta. I just hope that we can ace the entrance exam first…Scoring with the ladies is great and all, but it doesn't mean anything if we can't pass on our first day." Izuku told him

"That's why we are going to team up and ace it together, Izuku. There isn't anything in the rules saying that we can't team up together. Between the two of us, there isn't anything we can't handle." Mineta said with a smug grin

"That is a very good point. Not to mention that with the telepathic-based part of my powers. Would allow for us to coordinate better to make sure we are at the very top of candidates for the exam." Izuku responded
"So how about it, do you wanna speedrun our way to an A, become the greatest to ever do it at U.A, and get all the women?" Mineta asked

"That is a yes, Mineta. Plus, I am just happy to have friends that want to be with me, on my way to being a hero." Izuku answered back

"This is why if there is anything you need me to do for you, anything at all. Then all you have to do is call me, ask me, or text message me and I will have it done. Now that we're friends, I would do anything for you." Izuku swore to the shorter between the two of them

"You are a great guy, you know that?" Mineta said

"I try to be, I just hope that when I get there. That I will be able to do everything that is needed of me." Izuku responded in regards to his proving himself as Kaachan's equal and his mission regarding Shoto

"Should…Should I be concerned about what you have to do when we get to U.A?" Mineta asked with sizable concern in his voice

"No, nothing that you should be worried about. Just something that I will have to do for my boss when we attend is all. Nothing too serious." Izuku assured his purple-haired friend
"If you say so, but just promise me that it won't be some crazy bullshit that we wind up getting roped into. The last thing I need is for my Freshman year to get super weird." Mineta requested of his immensely powerful psychic for a friend

"Don't worry, nothing strange will happen. You have my word." Izuku promised

"...Thank you, anyways do you wanna grab some ice cream on me?" Mineta asked

"That sounds wonderful, just hop on and I will fly us to the nearest ice cream parlor." Izuku answered back as Mineta hopped onto the back of said Psyker

"To the nearest Baskin Robbins away!" Mineta exclaimed

However, whilst the dynamic duo in question were flying off in search of ice cream to have as a midday snack, it was at the base where the League of Villains was hidden where Kurogiri and All for One were having a conversation in regards to Endeavor's breakout protege of sorts, Izuku Midoriya who had made quite a few waves in his destroying the Chie Hassakai.

"If you do not mind my asking, what exactly are we to do against this psychic? For him to have done what he has in such a short period of time; is very concerning to our future plans." Kurogiri questioned

"Even with Shigaraki progressing rather impressively with his own Quirk, that as it stands of this moment, should Midoriya be called upon as a counter to our immediate plans and designs in the future. Then it could compromise a large amount of what we have begun so far to overthrow the current regime of Heroes." Kurogiri further spoke in regards to the very credible threat that the Psyker presented

"For now we keep a close eye on him, Kurogiri…While his attendance at U.A will provide us tie and cover against his acting against us, at least for the time being. We will nevertheless need to bolster our numbers and improve the strength of our current members as well, especially Shigaraki." All for One responded knowing that they needed to use the precious time they did have to get things in order

"Do you think that Shigaraki can stand a chance against him at his current level?...Despite his eccentricities his Quirk is rather powerful and his lethality with it is astonishing." Kurogiri asked the leader of the League of Villians

"To be quite honest, I do not think he would stand much of a chance to begin with. While it is true that his Quirk's destructive capabilities are powerful and I will not deny that. It is countered by the fact that he has not yet tapped into the true potential of what he can become, moreover he is still weak in regards to facing any of those with true strength." All for One remarked in regards to his protege's overall chances

"Then how do you suggest that we raise him to a standard where he can match him? This Midoriya's powers from what has been witnessed, seen from video recordings across the internet, as well as his recent escapades; show that his Quirk is evolving and growing at an extraordinary rate. Which is why I have to ask, what can we do to even the odds?" Kurogiri questioned the infamous supervillain

"I do have a few things that I have been saving that can help. Granted I was hoping to tap into this once my awaited day to battle All-Might came. However, I feel that it is time for Shigaraki to as he would say 'level up' as it were."All for One answered back with an insidious grin from behind his mask

"What are you going to do with him, if I may be so inclined to ask?" Kurogiri questioned further

"To put it simply, I am going to introduce my protoge to a few 'friends' on the proverbial other side. These 'friends' and what I and they will teach him, will show him what true Chaos can bring if you are willing to allow yourself to fall into the strength of ones untapped potential." All for One responded

"All that needs to be done is to make a few…'calls' and from there he will begin his true training in earnest. If Endeavor has found a superweapon to combat my allies form beyond, as well as having someone who can stand strong enough to potentially outstrip All Might's raw power, then it only stands to reason that I even the odds. After all, what is a Demon Lord without their knights clad in ruinous power." All for One further spoke letting the ominous undertone of his words hang before allowing a response

"Is there anything that you wish for me to do in the interim; before you prepare Shigaraki and the League for what is to come?" Kurogiri questioned after a few tense moments of waiting

"No, I believe there is nothing on the itinerary for today. You are free to do as you wish, Kurogiri. Just know that within the next few weeks, if not the next few months. THat we are going to be doing some much-needed changes to our operations. I believe we are well overdue to head into the next phase of our operations." All for One informed the portal creating villain

"Understood, and thank you for your time." Kurogiri said before creating a portal to leave his masters' quarters

"Now then, I believe it is time to make a call to others from the beyond. They will find the idea of a powerful psychic here to be very much worth their time…The only question being, whom to make the call to?" Were the thoughts of the archnemesis of All Might who looked at the collection of tomes that heaved with blasphemous power in their pages

"It certainly does help to have friends on the other side, friends that can ensure you truly become as you were meant to be." All for One further spoke with a voice that echoed with a patience that came from generations of plotting to become the Demon Lord he knew he could be

(The next day, Tokyo, Japan, August 4th, 998. M41, 6:42 Pm)

The next evening came swiftly as Izuku was on a Skype call with his mother who was over the hill with joy after hearing that her sweet child had been finally accepted into U.A.

"That's wonderful news, Izuku! I'm so happy for you, my sweet little boy is finally going to go to U.A to be a hero!" Inko cheered in excitement for her son being accepted into the prestigious institution

"I'm super excited about it too mom! Thanks to Mr. Endeavor and some of the other Pro Heroes I've met, I'm going to have a full ride to attending there in a few weeks. Now all I have to do is get supplies for my classes ready, make sure that the costume Mr. Twice made for me gets repaired, and so many other things that I can't keep track of…I just know that in a few weeks, I can finally start showing people that I can do a lot of great things as a pro hero." Izuku replied still overjoyed by the fact he'd been accepted

"I-I honestly don't know what I'm going to do when I get there, now that I think about it." Izuku further spoke

"The only thing that I know is that I am so proud of you, Izuku. Hopefully, I can get a few days off to come see you and help celebrate, this is to special of an occasion not to make a day out of it!" Inko said back knowing that a celebration was to be had

"That would be great mom, actually it would mean that you could meet Eri and all of my friends!" Izuku mentioned to his mother

"Who is Eri, sweetheart?" Inko asked

"Oh, she's someone that Toga rescued from that Chie Hassakai syndicate that I helped take down. She is a total sweetheart and the cutest thing ever, you're going to love her!" Izuku answered back in regards to who the small child was

"That sounds lovely, and I will make sure that I will see her, and all of you're little friends when I get the chance…I have to figure out what kind of a cake I'm going to have to make for you too." Inko said

"Trust me, Mom, your going to love all of them." Izuku replied

"I know I will sweetie…I just can't say it enough of how proud I am of you. My little man on his way to becoming a Pro Hero, before you know it you will have your own Hero Agency in no time." Inko said back with nothing but pride and joy in her only son

"Thanks, and don't worry. While I am at U.A, I promise that you will continue to be proud of me. I'm going to show everyone there and every Pro watching, that I have what it takes and more to be a good hero. I just know I do, I just need to have my one shot to show that I am worth taking that chance on." Izuku spoke knowing that all he needed was a chance like what Endeavor was willing to give to him and he'd be well on his way

"If they can't recognize that you are something special, then shame on all of them. I know my son and he is worth 10 of whoever goes to that academy." Inko said to a smiling Izuku

"Don't worry mom, I will make sure to show everyone what I can do." Izuku told her

"Good, and remember what we talked about. Keep your head up high, make good friends, and stay out of trouble." Inko responded

"Of course, I have it all under control…Anyways, I'll let you get back to work, I know that with U.A opening back up that things are going to get crazy at the hospital. I'll talk to you later, ok?" Izuku said back to his mother

"Ok sweetheart, be safe and I love you." Inko told her son

"I love you too, mom." Izuku replied before ending the call

From there Izuku would spend his time with Twice checking in with him, and seeing how he was doing wherein the masked man in question was going over further designs for new hero costumes for those at the Endeavor Hero Agency as well as making repairs to Izuku's partially damaged costume as well. After that, he would go to see how Toga and Eri were doing, where he spotted Toga braiding Eri's hair as she was watching Digimon Data Squad while the younger of them was currently eating candied Granny Smith Apples.

"Hey, I hope I'm not bothering anyone. I'm just making sure that everyone is doing ok tonight." Izuku said to the two

"Oh hi, Mr. Izuku. I was just watching Digimon with Eri." Toga said back as she continued to braid her hair while watching Digimon along with her

"Hi, and look what Miss. Toga got for me today!" Eri said as she held up one of her candied apples

"That's really nice, where did you get them from?" Izuku asked

"I went with Miss. Toga to the market to get more food for the house, and they had them on sale, so we got a bunch of 'em and some other stuff too!" Eri answered back while continuing to munch on her other candied apple

"Don't worry it wasn't anything bad, Izuku. It was just some candy and some other groceries, if that's what your worried about." Toga told him

"That's good at least, and also those braids look really cute on her…I didn't know you could style hair, Toga." Izuku said as he registered Eri's half-braided air

"When you impersonate people for a living and have to keep up appearances. Learning how to take care of and style hair is a must. Also, I wanted to do something nice for Eri today. So getting her candy, watching Digimon and doing her hair was a must have!" Toga replied

"Fair point, well in any case I was just doing a quick run-around the house to make sure that everyone is ok." Izuku said as he went to float away

"Wait! Before you go, I wanted to tell you something, Mr. Izuku." Eri said as she stood up and clambered over to the green-haired Psyker

"Oh, and what did you want to tell me?" Izuku asked as he knelt down to faceher

"I wanted to say thank you for getting rid of the mean beak-faced man…I know I never got the chance to say thank you, but I really, really appreciate you, Miss Toga and Mr. Twice for protecting me…Thank you for being my hero, Mr Izuku and beating the mean man." Eri answered back as she jumped up to give Izuku the biggest hug her small arms could muster

"T-Thank you, that means a lot to me, Eri." Izuku said as it was taking all of his willpower not to erupt into tears

"A-Are you gonna cry?" Toga remarked as she saw the waterworks being barely restrained

"N-No, I'm just…I'm just really happy to have Eri here." Izuku responded

"I'm happy to be here too and thank you for being my friends." Eri said as she hugged Izuku tighter

"Awwww, this is just adorable!" Toga added as she watched Eri hug the green-haired psychic who was using all of his willpower not to erupt into a waterfall of tears

"Hey, if you want you can join Eri and I. We're watching Digimon if you aren't too busy." Toga offered as she held up a bag of candy to share with Izuku

"I don't really have anything else planned for tonight, so sure why not." Izuku said as he floated over to Toga with Eri in tow

"Hooray, Digimon with Mr. Izuku!" Eri cheered as she continued to watch the cartoon with two of her most favorite people in the world

'Man, things really are going my way and I don't think I can get any happier than this.' Were Izuku's thoughts as he spent the rest of the evening turned night alongside Eri and Toga

(2 weeks later, August 18th, 998. M41, Baal, Arx Angelicum, 9:45 Am)

However, within the fortress monastery of the Blood Angels; something was happening that would very much gain the attention of those within it.

"...Lord Corbulo, you may want to get in here right now!" One of the Blood Angels apothecaries yelled out to his superior

"Young man what is it that you could not come and ask of…me? By the Emperor, he has finally awakened." Corbulo spoke before he saw a groggy-looking Sanguinius in his hospital gown shaking millenias worth of pins and needles from his body

"Where…Where am I, the last thing I remember is being on the Vengeful Spirit and then…" Sanguinius began to speak as he tried to stand on wobbly legs

"Lord Sanguinius, it is good to see you again. Please, conserve your energy you have been…out of commission for quite some time. This, This is almost unreal to see before my own eyes." Corbulo spoke to the towering angel before him almost flabbergasted at what he was now witness too

"How long has it been, more importantly, where am I and what has become of the Emperor? What has become of my Legion, my son?" Sanguinius spoke as his mind and sight still felt as if he were in a haze and his limbs heavier than reinforced ceramite
"It is a substantial lot to explain…Allow me to go fetch Lord Dante, he can better answer your questions." Corbulo replied as he saw his Primarch look at him with concern, confusion and weariness

"Very well, however, can I request something to drink? I do not know how many days if not weeks have passed, yet I know that I am extremely thirsty. If that is not too much trouble." Sanguinius politely requested

"Of course, I will have one of my men here get you something to drink. Stay here while I contact the Chapter Master." Corbulo spoke before he ordered one of his men to get their Primarch something to drink as well as proper clothing to wear

With it being a few hours later before Dante would arrive at the Arx Angelicum to see for himself if what had happened was the truth, and much to the wizened Chapter Master's surprise was Sanguinius the Lord of the 9th, the Great Angel, and one of the mightiest of the Primarchs awake and alive before his eyes. Although the millenia in 'stasis' as it were had left him all but untouched to the passage of time, the weariness and confusion in his eyes as he moved what he would equate as sluggish said it all that he was truly here ready to lead the Blood Angels once again.

As such despite internally being overjoyed to see his Primarch once again, he knew that he had to keep a decorum and presence that demanded that he acted respectively before his genesire and more importantly to inform him of the truth of where he now stood. Therefore, after he had allowed him to eat and become more acclimated to the fortress-monastery of their Legion; did he upon Sanguinius's request tell him of what had happened in the time since his apparent death. Something that despite his reservations for doing so even after having months to prepare himself to do so before the son of the Emperor that stood before him, he knew it was to be done so that he could better face the dangers of what was to be going forward.

Hence why Dante did not spare any details of what was in the modern-day Imperium, from informing him that his father had died and now was interred onto the Golen Throne and deified to the Imperium at large, to the current state of the Imperium at large, to them now facing threats from the heretic Astartes, the Necrons and now the Tyrranids. This and so much more did he tell the Great Angel of what the Imperium of Man had become in the past 10,000 years since that fateful battle aboard the Lupercal's ship, with Dante watching his Primarch's face become heavy with all of the truths that had been revealed to him as he took in the information.

"That by in large is the condensed version of events, my lord. I wish that I could tell you that things had improved since your final battle during the Heresy. However, the Imperium has suffered many losses since that time, the 9th Legion even moreso than I would like to admit. Yet while we have by that same token achieved many victories as well. It has not come without great cost..especially at the hands of the Despoiler so many ages past." Dante told the stupefied Primarch

"I see and what of my brothers? Do any of them still live that have not turned to the embrace of Chaos?" Sanguinius queried to the Chapter Master of his Legion

"To my knowledge, Rouboute Guilliman has died from his skirmish against Fulgrim over 5,000 years prior. Rogal Dorn is declared dead at the hands of the Alpha Legion and Corvus Corax has by all accounts vanished from existence once the Heresy has ended. I would even hazard to say that in his grief he has abandoned the Raven Guard and the Imperium wholesale. Jaghatai Kahn is nowhere to be seen nor heard since the Heresy, although rumors speak that he hounds the Drukhari across the stars. The Lion's fate remains unknown and Vulkan himself has left to be found by his Legion….Leman Russ has disappeared into the Warp with a contingent of his Wolves who promised to return during the Imperium's darkest hour, and yet every day feels like it has become such. So to answer your question you are; for all intents and purposes the only living loyal Primarch left in the Imperium." Dante answered his voice grim to have to tell his Primarch of the fates of his brothers

"I-I see, I was hoping that perhaps I could see one of them yet again. That perhaps one of them could work alongside me to repair the damage done to our Imperium." Sanguinius said his voice somber at this fact

"I would even take Dorn despite his placidness or Corax for all of his dreariness to be at my side once more. I would give anything to have one of my brothers here with me in these dark times... I would be happy to see again for even a moment…Forgive me, Dante, it is…it is a considerable ordeal to take in. The knowledge that I am the last loyal son of the Emperor left alive; is a weighty burden to bear." Sanguinius further spoke to the wizened Chapter Master

"I am sorry to inform you of this dour news, yet it is the only news I can give to you in earnest. To deceive you would be a blasphemy; that I would dare not utter in your presence." Dante replied

"You are quite alright, Dante. I understand that things have changed…not for the better as I would have liked. However, that does not mean that hope is lost." Sanguinius said back resolute despite knowing of the fates of his family

"Even though we are left in not the most ideal timeline I could imagine, the fact that the Imperium still stands gives me hope. A hope that things can not only be made better, but that we can better return the Imperium to the glory that was at our fingertips had Horus not sundered it." Sanguinius added

"That does bring me to my next question if you do not mind my asking it. What will you do going forward with the information of what the Imperium and the 9th Legion have become?" Dante asked of his Primarch who despite this recent knowledge refused to be crushed by the knowledge given

"For now, I would like time to recover my strength and know further of what the Imperium has become…After 10,000 years of being 'comatose' for a lack of a better term. I know that I am not yet at the strength I once was, more than that I will need new armor and weapons. The aftermath of my encounter with Horus has left my equipment damaged save my spear and sword." Sanguinius told the golden-clad Chapter Master

"It is surprising that you say that, as we had anticipated your awakening my lord. That is why ,our best techmarines have begun repairing if not augmenting your armor to be better than the standard set those centuries ago." Dante informed him

"Thank you, Dante, that is most appreciated. In any case, the last thing I will request once I have recovered, and have made myself known to the Legion in regards to my return. I would like to make a voyage to Terra to see what has become of my father, the Emperor." Sanguinius told the wizened Chapter Master of the 9th

"Are you sure that you will be ready to see what has become of him, my Primarch. Not to offend you, but what the Emperor was during the Heresy and Great Crusade and what he has become since are two vastly different beings…You may not like what you see when go to Holy Terra." Dante responded knowing that Sanguinius may not take too kindly to seeing in person the Corpse Emperor

"I know this Dante. However, I have to see for myself what has become of the Emperor. I must see it with my own eyes to the state of my father and what they now worship across the Imperium. I cannot in good conscience stand by without seeing him once again." Sanguinius said with a rare nervousness that colored his voice

"...I owe it to myself to do this in the wake of knowing that I may be the only living member of my family. At least the only one that has not become a monster, vanished from the Imperium, or has died in my absence. I must see my father again one more time in order to make peace with what I must now protect, now that he can no longer do so himself. After that, I shall do what I should have done had I not 'perished' aboard the Vengeful Spirit, I owe that much to not just the Imperium but to you my sons for all that I have failed to do while I lay absent." The Great Angel further spoke a heavy sense of regret and guilt coloring his voice to know that he had penultimately failed his sons

"Lord Sanguinius, with all due respect. You did not fail us, you died a hero to the Imperium and to our Legion, no matter what happens and what has happened. We will follow you even still to battles no matter how dangerous or horrific. We are your sons and as your sons we promise to you, that you have our strength, our wrath and dedication to all of what is to come." Dante swore to his Primarch who let a small smile cross his face

"Thank you, I appreciate that sentiment. However, I must face what I have left all of you to deal with in my absence. That is why, from this day forward, Dante. You have my word, my promise, and my strength as well that I will rededicate myself to the Blood Angels and all of its descending chapters. I swear to you that I will never again fail nor fall in battle, that I will lead the 9th Legion to victories greater than what has been fought beforehand. This I will promise you here until all of my traitorous brothers have been slain." Sanguinius promised in kind to Dante going as far as to kneel and prostrate himself before the oldest of the Space Marines

"You do not need to kneel before me, my lord. I and those of the 9th are more than ready to serve you." Dante said shocked to see his own genesire kneel before him

"I do this not out of disrespect, but to show that I will commit myself to making all of you proud to beside me…I am proud that all of you have endured and risen to become such great men and warriors of the Imperium. However, I wish to do my duty as your Primarch to once more fight beside you. That is if you are willing to have an angel stand beside you?" Sanguinius said with a humble smirk upon his face

"Of course, I will be happy too, Lord Sanguinius. The only thing that I can truly say to you, is welcome back to the fold. Your sons will be all too happy to have you back, to have our Primarch returned is a blessing we never thought we would bear witness once more." Dante responded as for the first time in centuries a genuinely joyful smile crossed his face

"That is good to hear, and one last request if you would be so kind. Would you mind escorting me to the libraries of our fortress? I would like to further catch up on recent events as it were…Now that I have awoken from over 10,000 years of a deathless state, I have so many things to make myself known of." Sanguinius requested of the Chapter Master of the 9th

"As you wish…follow me this way." Dante said as he led the towering angelic figure to the libraries of the Arx Angelicum

'10,000 years later and the Imperium is left broken and battered from Horus's betrayal…No matter, on my word and bond as the last of my brothers who remained loyal to our fathers dream for mankind. I will not fail, I will give the people of the Imperium something to once more fight and hope for. It is the least that can be done after everything that has happened in the ashes of Horus's dark ambition.' Were the Great Angel's thoughts as he followed after Dante

Kourtney Uzu Yato: Oh trust me, Kourtney it is gonna get even more cursed now that Magnus has his hands on Overhaul, because now that he has somone to 'help' him pump out new Thousand Sons, he can now start putting his back into other things. One of which is him turning his direct attention to the Grey Knights, since he has plans for Kaldor Draigo to help him with Ahriman's 3rd Rubric. Also, in my opinion a mentor Endeavor is something that I think should be done more often, given that there's so much you can do with him as a mentor, you just have to have him be a bit more self-aware that he's a bastard, but in that also know that what he was doing HAD to be done. Also, when I start covering U.A, Katsuki is gonna go through it knowing that Izuku over the summer is now a bit of a celebrity thanks to him having assisted in taking down the Chie Hassakai, now that is an ego blow if I've ever seen one. And as for Shoto, all I can say is Izuku is gonna make it so that either he gets it in gear or he'll talk with Endeavor about having him pulled from U.A, if he can't commit to being a hero.

Skull Flame: Oh yeah, as I figured that Overhaul being used to repair the Thousand Sons Geneseed would be one of the biggest wins possible for the Sons of Magnus. Given that now they can start pumping out Sorcerers and Marines like clockwork...Now that I think about it, this gives Magnus a reason to get active. Because now that he can make more Marines he can look at all those people who are supposed to get fed to the Emperor, yoink them away and convince them to sign on as a Marine under his cause. Also, its gonna be really funny now that Izuku has the Ultramarines, the Ynnari, Fulgrim, looking at him, hell with what I have cooked up it won't be long before the Blood Angels or the Grey Knights/Inquisition start looking directly at him. Oh yeah, there are gonna be bodies getting dropped at the USJ, as think of it as the herd getting thinned, because as I've shown All for One is NOT fucking around. Lastly, I have plans for Natsuo and Fuyumi, especially since Natsuo with his relationship with Endeavor is one who I see as being at risk of Khorne corrupting him if he ain't careful. Also, I'm working on 2 stories that'll be coming out next year, one being a Percy Jackson X 40K crossover where Horus gets reincarnated as Percy's brother and having to atone in that world for what he did in the Heresy, and meeting some of his brothers who've been sent there as well from 30 and 40K. And another where it is Star Wars X 40K where Magnus convinces Perturabo to join him in getting out of the way from the upcoming Heresy and build their own future where they can do as they decide...Only that it takes them to the universe of Star Wars a decade before the Clone Wars happens.

Advent of Sloth: Yeah that's right man, as I figured what would be the worst possible outcome if Tzeentch or any Chaos God were to get to Overhaul. Then I realized, oh yeah his Quirk would be really great for boosting up Chaos Marine numbers that have messed up Gene Seed...So in the future, expect a fuck-ton more Thousand Sons Marines. Also, here's the thing Izuku kinda fucked up Slaanesh since Izuku's awakening kinda woke up things from the Deep Warp, and one of those things is looking to get Slaanesh.
