Gohan and Kara Zor-El adventures
DC universe
Krypton
On the planet Krypton, as the violent tremors shook buildings and people scrambled to evacuate, Jor-El and Alura In-Ze found themselves at home. In their backyard, Jor-El had just finished uploading all of their knowledge into the computer, ensuring Kara would have access. Alura, her concern evident, watched as Jor-El gently placed their baby inside the incubator.
"Are you certain she'll be safe?" Alura In-Ze anxiously inquired.
"She will be safe," Jor-El reassured her. "She's headed to the same destination as Kal-El, so she won't be alone."
Jor-El embraced Alura before pressing the button, activating the spaceship's departure from the doomed planet. "Goodbye," they whispered, and just as the planet convulsed violently once more, they shared a final kiss before Krypton met its end.
Meanwhile, amidst the vastness of space:
The spaceship destined for Earth suddenly encountered an unexpected vortex, drawing it inside.
DragonBall Z universe
In West City, at Capsule Corporation:
Bulma diligently tinkered with her machine, her excitement gradually waning as nothing happened. "That's strange; I was certain it would work," she muttered in disappointment. Then, out of nowhere, a vortex materialized above her residence, and a spaceship crash-landed in her backyard.
Startled and intrigued, Bulma hurriedly approached the spaceship. As she explored its advanced technology, a door opened, and she cautiously stepped inside, the lights illuminating her path. "Hello," she greeted, her surprise mounting as she heard the sound of a crying baby.
Rushing over, she discovered a baby inside an incubator. "What! An alien baby!" Bulma exclaimed, utterly unprepared for this encounter. The infant had striking features with blonde hair and blue eyes.
They locked eyes when suddenly, a machine on the ceiling materialized and began scanning her face. "What's happening?" Bulma wondered aloud.
The machine analyzed her before projecting a holographic image of a woman and a man. "Hi, Earthling," Jor-El began.
"My name is Jor-El," he continued.
"Hello, my name is Alura In-Ze," Alura In-Ze added.
"We're the parents of Kara Zor-El," Jor-El explained.
"We hail from Planet Krypton," he continued.
"If you're viewing this message, our home planet has been destroyed, and the likelihood of any Kryptonian survivors is low," Jor-El somberly conveyed.
"This spaceship contains all the advanced knowledge and technology of our world, which you can utilize on Earth," Jor-El elaborated.
"We hope you'll allow our daughter to learn about her heritage so that it may endure, and she can pass on our knowledge and culture to her descendants," Alura In-Ze earnestly requested.
"Thank you for caring for our daughter," Alura In-Ze concluded as the holographic image faded. Bulma gently picked up the baby.
Looking at her, Bulma smiled and said, "Hello, Kara Zor-El." She exited the spaceship and entered her house.
"Mom! Dad! I have a daughter!" Bulma exclaimed with joy, the baby waving at her parents.
"What!" Dr. Brief and Mrs. Brief exclaimed simultaneously upon seeing Bulma holding the baby.
Two hours later:
Bulma observed the sleeping baby. "Bulma, are you sure about this?" Dr. Brief inquired.
"Yes, Father, I'm committed to caring for this baby," Bulma replied. "I'm going to adopt her."
"So, what will her name be?" Mrs. Brief asked.
"Her name is Kara Zor-El," Bulma said. "But I'll add my last name as well, so her official name will be Kara Zor-El Brief."
"What are your plans for the spaceship?" Dr. Brief inquired.
"The spaceship contains Krypton's technology and knowledge, so I intend to study and learn from it," Bulma explained. "Keeping this information is crucial."
"Will you tell her about her parents and her home planet?" Dr. Brief wondered.
"Yes, I'll share that when she's six or seven," Bulma replied. Suddenly, Kara woke up again, and Bulma quickly picked her up, soothing her.
"They approached her when they noticed her ability to care for the baby. 'We're here to support you, so if you encounter any difficulties, don't hesitate to reach out; we're here to assist,' Dr. Brief assured.
'Welcome to the family,' Mrs. Brief warmly welcomed her, planting kisses on her cheek. They brimmed with excitement at the prospect of becoming grandparents."
Gently squeezing Kara's cheek, Bulma said, "I can't wait to raise you," embarking on her journey of motherhood.
Four years later, at Kame House, Master Roshi, Turtle, and Krillin were lounging around, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Bulma and Goku. Krillin reclined and commented, "It's been four years since we last saw Bulma and Goku."
"Bulma and Goku always seem to have their hands full," Master Roshi replied, deeply engrossed in his favorite Playboy magazines. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, prompting him to quickly open it, revealing Bulma with a young girl by her side.
Master Roshi inquired, "Who's this young girl?" as he observed a blonde-haired girl with striking blue eyes.
"Hello, my name is Kara Zor-El Brief," Kara introduced herself. Krillin stood up, clearly taken aback.
"What! You have a daughter?" Krillin and Master Roshi exclaimed simultaneously.
"No wonder you've been so occupied lately," Krillin added.
"I didn't know you were serious with Yamcha," Master Roshi remarked.
"Yamcha is not the father, and I broke up with him about four years ago," Bulma clarified as she entered the Turtle.
"Hi," Kara greeted Turtle, gently patting his head.
"I bet your daughter is quite intelligent," Master Roshi commented.
"Yes, she's already reading at a high-school level," Bulma replied with pride. "If she continues to study, she'll likely surpass me."
Suddenly, Krillin and Master Roshi sensed Goku's energy.
"Goku's here!" Krillin exclaimed, prompting them to hastily exit the house.
Bulma turned to her daughter. "I want you to meet one of my closest friends," she said. Kara nodded, and they stepped outside to find Goku holding a child.
"Are you looking after the boy?" Master Roshi inquired.
"No, he's my son," Goku replied with a grin.
"What?!" Master Roshi, Krillin, and Bulma all exclaimed in shock. Goku noticed the young girl standing beside Bulma and asked, "Who's that?"
"She's my daughter," Bulma replied.
"What?!" Goku was taken aback, noticing that she was shorter than Gohan. "Hey, introduce yourself," Goku instructed his son.
"Hi, my name is Gohan, and I'm four years old," Gohan said, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Hello, my name is Kara, and I'm also four years old," Kara responded, her face beaming with a bright smile. Bulma was delighted to see them getting along and approached them.
"Hi, Gohan, so tell me, what do you want to be when you grow up?" Bulma asked him.
"I want to be a great scholar," Gohan replied, surprising her. "I initially thought I'd want to be a great fighter like you, Dad," he said to Bulma.
"Chichi won't let me train him," Goku explained. "Oh... what a missed opportunity," Krillin commented.
"Chichi believes it would be a waste of time for him to learn how to fight, given that we live in a peaceful era," Goku continued. "She wants him to focus on his education."
Bulma noticed Gohan's tail. "Oh... he has a monkey tail," she remarked.
"Yes, he inherited it from me," Goku confirmed, piquing Kara's curiosity. She reached out and grabbed the tail, causing Gohan to fall unconscious.
"Daughter, please don't touch his tail," Bulma said, feeling embarrassed. Kara quickly let go, and Gohan slowly regained consciousness. "I'm sorry, I didn't know," Kara apologized.
"It's okay," Gohan replied. Master Roshi looked at him and asked, "So, did anything unusual happen when he saw the full moon?"
"Nothing happened, since Chichi makes him go to bed early," Goku explained.
She noticed atop his hat that he possessed the third Dragon Ball as she gazed at him. "Are you sure it's safe to have the Dragon Ball with him?" Bulma inquired.
"I believe it should be fine, and I'm here to protect it from potential thieves," Goku reassured her, while observing his son and Bulma's daughter striking up a friendly conversation about their children.
Meanwhile, in another location,
On a farm, a space pod landed nearby, prompting the farmer to swiftly grab his shotgun. He spotted a tall man emerging from the space pod upon noticing a human presence. "So, my foolish brother didn't exterminate all the humans," Raditz remarked as he adjusted his scouter.
He checked the power level on his scouter. "Five… pitiful," Raditz scoffed as the farmer trembled in fear. He fired his weapon, but Raditz effortlessly halted the bullet mid-air, sending the farmer tumbling to the ground. Suddenly, his scouter detected a significantly higher power level, causing him to quickly soar towards its source.
Ten minutes later,
In the middle of nowhere, Piccolo meditated when he suddenly sensed an immense power level. He pivoted to spot the newcomer.
"You're not Kakarot," Raditz declared.
"Do you have business with me?" Piccolo inquired, preparing for a confrontation.
"I have no interest in a feeble Namekian," Raditz dismissed.
"What! Did you just insult me? Do you wish to meet your end?" Piccolo retorted, his anger flaring.
He examined his power level. "Three hundred forty," Raditz reported.
"What a fool! You're no match for me," Raditz boasted, as Piccolo promptly launched an energy blast. Raditz effortlessly deflected it.
Raising his hand, Raditz announced, "I'll give you a taste of my power." Suddenly, his scouter registered another high power level.
"Yes, at last, I've found you," Raditz exclaimed, flying towards the new location, ignoring Piccolo.
He noticed Piccolo had vanished. "I've never sensed such an intense power before," Piccolo pondered, watching Raditz head towards Goku's location.
Ten minutes later,
At Kame House, Goku observed Gohan and Kara playing when he suddenly sensed an overwhelming energy. He turned to see the intruder landing and locking eyes with them.
Goku stared at him. "So, we finally cross paths," Raditz remarked.
"You bear a striking resemblance to our father, Bardock," Raditz noted.
"Goku, who is this individual?" Krillin queried.
"I'm not certain," Goku replied, his senses focused on Raditz's formidable power level.
"So, why didn't you complete the mission?" Raditz demanded an explanation for the humans' survival.
Before he could respond, Goku noticed Raditz's monkey tail. "You have a tail," Goku observed.
Raditz chuckled. "You've finally grasped it," he said.
"What are you implying?" Goku inquired.
"Must I spell it out for you?" Raditz snapped in frustration.
"Who are you? I've never met you before," Goku admitted.
Growing more agitated, Raditz's tail lashed out violently, leaving marks on the ground.
"Let me clarify everything for you, my little brother," Raditz said, and both were shocked to discover their blood ties.
"That's impossible! You can't be my brother," Goku exclaimed in disbelief.
"Fool! Listen up! We were both born on Planet Vegeta!" Raditz declared.
"The Saiyan race is renowned as the mightiest warrior race in the universe," Raditz boasted.
"Enough with your nonsense," Goku retorted.
Master Roshi interjected, "Goku, long ago, your grandpa told me a story."
"He stumbled upon a space pod in the woods, inside which lay a baby," Master Roshi recounted.
"The baby had a violent disposition, untamable by anyone. However, one day, he fell from a waterfall, and his violent nature vanished, turning him into a good-natured boy," Master Roshi continued.
"Wait… that baby is me," Goku realized.
"If he was from outer space, why was he sent to Earth?" Krillin pressed for answers.
"His mission was to eradicate the planet's inhabitants," Raditz revealed.
"A Saiyan's duty is to annihilate the natives and sell the planet to the highest bidder," Raditz explained.
"He could accomplish this by transforming during a full moon," Raditz added.
"The full moon?" Goku questioned, puzzled.
"Do I need to explain that as well? Haven't you ever transformed into your Great Ape form?" Raditz asked, noticing Goku no longer had a tail.
"What happened to your tail?" Raditz inquired.
"I cut it off a long time ago," Goku replied.
"Are you daft? Trying to resemble them more?" Raditz exclaimed in frustration.
"That's enough! Regardless of whether you're my brother, leave my planet," Goku demanded angrily.
"I won't depart without you. Our home planet was destroyed by a colossal meteor, leaving me with no choice," Raditz stated.
He stared at Goku with intense determination. "Do you truly expect me to stand beside you in the slaughter of innocent people?" Goku spoke firmly.
"Yes! We're both Saiyans! Our destiny is to revel in combat and vanquish those weaker than us!" Raditz bellowed.
Goku's resolve remained unshaken. "I refuse to become a murderer like you," he declared.
Raditz's anger flared. "Could it be that you share our mother Gine's foolish compassion? She always believed in sparing lives, which is why she toiled in that pitiful meat factory," Raditz spat.
Once more, Raditz issued a dire ultimatum. "Listen carefully, Goku. Join me willingly or face the gravest of consequences," he warned.
Goku's response was resolute. "I'd choose death over joining you," he affirmed as he prepared for their impending clash.
Suddenly, Raditz's scouter registered the power emanating from the small blonde girl. "Her energy level exceeds that of a typical human," Raditz pondered, prompting him to approach cautiously.
But before he could make another move, Raditz closed the gap in an instant and delivered a vicious uppercut to Goku's abdomen, forcing him to cough up blood.
"I'll offer you a single chance: procure two hundred lifeless bodies, and I'll spare your son and the blonde girl," Raditz proposed, then swiftly incapacitated Gohan and Kara. Krillin attempted to intervene, but Raditz dispatched him with a swift tail strike before taking off.
"Daughter!" Bulma cried out in horror, witnessing Goku's struggle to stand.
"I have to go... I need to save them," Goku said. He quickly ran towards them.
"You're not in good condition to fight him," Krillin cautioned.
"It would be impossible for you to defeat him," Krillin added.
"I know, but I think I have a chance," Goku replied.
"Did you see his tail?" Goku continued. "If I can squeeze his tail, he'll lose all his strength," Goku explained.
"I'm going to help you," Krillin offered. "I'll help too, to increase our chances," Master Roshi chimed in.
"If we die, we can use the Dragon Balls to be revived," Krillin suggested.
"Don't worry, I can collect all the Dragon Balls without any problems," Bulma assured.
"No," Goku interjected. "You two have already died before, so the Dragon Balls won't be able to revive you again," Goku pointed out. "If you die this time, you'll stay dead," Goku warned.
"You know you wouldn't be able to defeat your brother by yourself," Bulma said.
"I know," Goku admitted. Krillin looked at her.
"I still wonder why Raditz decided to kidnap Kara," Krillin pondered. "She's not a Saiyan," Krillin noted.
"Yes, but maybe he noticed that she wasn't human either," Bulma speculated. "What do you mean?" Master Roshi inquired.
"Well, Kara is an alien too," Bulma revealed. Goku looked at her.
"No wonder her power level was higher than a regular human's," Goku realized. "But right now is not the correct time to tell you how I met her," Bulma continued, anticipating Goku's question, but he turned around and saw Piccolo.
"Piccolo... what are you doing here?" Goku asked him.
"I want your brother dead," Piccolo declared.
"So you two know each other?" Goku inquired.
"I just met him," Piccolo clarified. "You already know that you three don't have any chance against him," Piccolo stated.
"If we team up, we have a better chance to defeat him," Piccolo proposed.
"So tell me why you're doing this," Goku questioned.
"Don't get me wrong, I don't really care if the kids get killed," Piccolo admitted. "Your brother stands in my way of world domination," Piccolo revealed.
"I'm not going to let you rule the world, but teaming with you seems to be the only way to defeat him," Goku reluctantly agreed. "But after the battle, the deal is off," Goku added.
"I'm fine with that," Piccolo agreed.
"Bulma, I want you to look for the Dragon Balls," Goku instructed, prompting her to quickly grab her Dragon Ball radar and capsule, and she started searching for the Dragon Balls.
"Let's go, Nimbus!" Goku said as he quickly jumped onto the flying Nimbus with Piccolo beside him.
Thirty minutes later, in an anonymous location, Raditz was walking around the space pod.
"I wonder if my idiot of a brother is going to follow my orders," Raditz thought as he sat down to eat.
In the space pod, Gohan and Kara were terrified. Gohan tried to break the window, but nothing happened.
"Dad!! I want my dad!!" Gohan cried. Kara began punching the crystal.
"Mom!! Rescue me!!" Kara pleaded as they both cried simultaneously.
"Crybaby," Raditz scoffed. "It's a good thing my mother isn't here... I bet she would be furious if I hurt her grandchild," Raditz thought as he finished eating.
Suddenly, his scouter sensed two power levels, and he saw Goku and Piccolo approaching.
"So the Namekian decided to help you," Raditz remarked. "How dare you insult me again," Piccolo retorted furiously. Raditz laughed.
"Don't tell me that you lost your memories just like my idiot brother," Raditz taunted. "Another fool thinking that he is a human," Raditz added. "Your people are from Planet Namek," Raditz said with surprise.
"It doesn't matter, so tell your reasons for coming here," Raditz demanded.
"We're here to stop you," Goku stated.
Raditz laughed again. "Fine, when you die, say hi to our parents," Raditz said as he quickly flew at Goku, and they began to fight. Raditz was faster than Goku, so Goku removed his weighted Gi, and he saw that Piccolo did the same.
Raditz noticed their power levels starting to increase, but he remained unimpressed as he continued to fight Piccolo.
Suddenly, Goku grabbed Raditz's tail, causing him to fall to the ground, unable to move.
"Goku! Don't let your brother go!" Piccolo screamed.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to let him go!" Goku assured.
"Idiot! Are you really trying to kill your last family members?" Raditz protested.
"Why should I care about that when you were trying to kill my own son?" Goku retorted.
"I was only joking," Raditz backpedaled. "I wasn't serious about killing you two," Raditz admitted before Goku charged an energy blast, matching Raditz's power level.
"Goku! I'm using my new technique, so you better not mess up!" Piccolo warned as he focused on channeling more energy into his attack.
"Kakarot! Please let me go! I'll leave this planet!" Raditz pleaded.
"Do you promise?" Goku asked.
"Yes," Raditz replied, and Goku released him.
"You idiot!!!" Piccolo shouted as he appeared next to Raditz and tore his arm off. He then flew at Goku, uppercutting him into the stomach, causing him to cough up blood. Goku screamed in pain as Piccolo kicked him multiple times, breaking several of his bones.
Suddenly, Raditz's scouter registered another high power level, and the space pod's window shattered into little pieces.
"Leave my father alone!!!" Gohan screamed as he quickly headbutted Raditz in the stomach, making him cough up more blood. Gohan then punched him multiple times in the stomach and face. Raditz fell to the ground, and Gohan rushed to his father's side.
"Dad! Are you okay?" Gohan asked.
"Yes... I knew you were strong," Goku said proudly. Raditz stood up, his face covered in blood, and his power level returned. He was furious.
"What was that!" Raditz demanded angrily. "Why don't you show me your power again?" Gohan taunted.
"What power?" Raditz asked, looking confused. "So you don't know how to control your power... perfect," Raditz sneered as he appeared next to Gohan, upper cutting him and slamming him into the ground. "It looks like I'm going to end you," Raditz threatened.
"Raditz! Don't kill him!" Goku implored.
"Rest assured, I am determined to grant him a fitting demise," Raditz chuckled, his sinister intentions clear. Kara seethed with anger as she slowly began to levitate.
"Leave him alone!!!" Kara screamed.
"What?!" Raditz exclaimed, sensing Kara's power surging, akin to Gohan's when he was in a furious rage. Swift as the wind, Kara flew towards Raditz, her fist striking his stomach with such force that it forced blood from his mouth.
Kara's fury grew, and she felt a searing heat building within her eyes. Suddenly, an intense beam of heat shot from her eyes, impacting near Raditz's stomach as she unleashed her full power. Just as suddenly, she ceased, falling unconscious.
Raditz tumbled to the ground, coughing up blood and noticing two small holes near his stomach. "What are you? You're not human!" Raditz exclaimed.
"Piccolo, can you employ your techniques once more?" Goku shouted urgently.
"Yes, but you must be willing to sacrifice yourself so that I can defeat him," Piccolo replied solemnly.
"I have no problems sacrificing my life to protect my family and friends," Goku affirmed resolutely.
"You fool! Release me! We're facing certain death!" Raditz yelled desperately.
"It appears someone is afraid of meeting their end," Goku remarked as he sensed the scout's attack, which already surpassed his own power.
"Special Beam Cannon!" Piccolo roared, unleashing the energy blast upon them. The beam pierced through them, colliding with the boulders and resulting in a massive explosion that sent them both crashing down.
Piccolo observed Gohan and Kara, who lay unconscious. "Both of them possess the potential to become formidable warriors," Piccolo contemplated, overhearing Raditz's bitter laughter.
"I can't believe that the mighty Raditz met his demise at the hands of a low-level Saiyan and a Namekian of little strength," Raditz scoffed.
"Then he was willing to sacrifice his own life to end mine," Raditz mused.
Piccolo couldn't help but laugh as he grabbed Raditz by the hair. "Unfortunately for you, Goku will be revived," Piccolo informed him.
"What?" Raditz queried.
"The seven Dragon Balls possess the power to grant any wish, including immortality or resurrection," Piccolo explained.
"Thank you for enlightening me," Raditz said.
"My comrades have already heard our conversation, and they will arrive in a year," Raditz disclosed.
"Prince Vegeta and Nappa are even more formidable than I am," Raditz added, just before Piccolo abruptly snapped his neck, putting an end to his life.
Piccolo turned and spotted the Capsule Corporation Hovercar. Bulma noticed the unconscious children and landed quickly, rushing to their side. "Kids!" Bulma exclaimed with concern, while Krillin hurried to Goku.
"Goku! I have the Senzu beans," Krillin offered.
"Thank you, but I fear I won't be able to consume them," Goku replied. He turned to Krillin. "Krillin, please take care of Gohan."
"Don't worry; we will revive you," Krillin assured him.
"We already have three Dragon Balls," Krillin informed him.
"Until we meet again, my friends," Goku said with a smile, closing his eyes and passing away.
Their shock was palpable. "Goku! You can't die!" Krillin screamed, but Goku's body mysteriously disappeared.
"What! Goku's body disappeared?" Krillin exclaimed.
"Fear not; most likely the old man is responsible for this," Piccolo reassured them.
"Are you referring to Kami, the Guardian of Earth?" Master Roshi inquired, to which Piccolo nodded.
"Most probably, he has a plan for Goku," Piccolo suggested.
"So, what are your thoughts on this matter?" Krillin asked Master Roshi.
"Well, being the Guardian of Earth, he likely has good intentions," Master Roshi opined.
"Let's focus on finding the remaining Dragon Balls to revive him," Krillin proposed.
"I was wondering how Krillin managed to locate Goku," Bulma pondered.
"He used the scouter to track us," Piccolo clarified. Bulma retrieved the scouter and began repairing it, putting it on afterward.
"It looks amazing," Bulma remarked. "I think I can translate it into our language."
"I believe our priority should be finding the rest of the Dragon Balls," Krillin urged.
"Very well, let's take Gohan home," Bulma agreed. As they were about to leave, they noticed Piccolo had regenerated his entire arm.
They stared at him in astonishment. "Before you depart, I have a request," Piccolo interjected.
"I wish to train Goku's son and your daughter," Piccolo disclosed.
"Why do you need Gohan and Kara?" Bulma demanded an explanation.
"During the battle, Gohan and Kara managed to damage Raditz," Piccolo revealed.
"If I train them to control their power, we will stand a better chance against the Saiyans," Piccolo reasoned.
Before Bulma could object further, Piccolo interrupted her. "Enough talk! I have no time to waste. I will train them!" Piccolo declared, causing them to suddenly float, only to be caught by him.
With a stern gaze, Piccolo addressed them. "You and your feeble friends should concentrate on your training. I won't tolerate dead weight during the battle against the Saiyans," he cautioned, then swiftly departed.
Krillin raised an important question, "Who will break the news to Chichi about Goku and Gohan?" They exchanged looks, and it appeared they had already chosen him for the task.
Meanwhile, in Hell, Raditz seethed with anger. "Dammit! The great Raditz was defeated by some weakling!" he exclaimed furiously.
"I can't wait for my partner to be revived so I can have my revenge," Raditz added, turning around in shock.
"Father!" Raditz exclaimed in astonishment.
"I was already expecting you to come to Hell, but not so early," Bardock replied.
Before he could say more, Raditz interrupted him. "Yes, I saw the fight of my younger son and my grandchild," Bardock admitted.
"Don't tell me you're angry for trying to kill them," Raditz said angrily.
"I'm not angry since you were just following orders," Bardock reassured him.
"Where is Mother?" Raditz asked him.
"Since your mother was a meat factory worker and didn't kill anyone, she was granted to go to the Otherworld, but she decided to stay beside me," Bardock explained.
As he was about to say something more, he noticed her beside him, holding a wooden stick and looking furious. "Good luck, son," Bardock said.
"I saw that you hurt my grandchild," Gine said as she started to beat him with the wooden stick.
On another unknown planet, Vegeta and Nappa were dining when Nappa inquired, "So Vegeta, are we going to revive Raditz?"
"Why would we waste our wish reviving someone who got beaten by weaklings?" Vegeta responded.
"We're going to use the Dragon Balls to grant us immortality," Vegeta continued. "No one will be able to defeat us!"
In the midst of an open field, Piccolo gently placed Gohan and Kara by the lakeside, where they quickly regained consciousness. "It's time to wake up! Today marks the beginning of your training," Piccolo declared loudly.
"What? I don't know how to fight," Gohan admitted.
"Neither do I," Kara chimed in.
"Silence!" Piccolo snapped at them.
"I want to be with my Dad!" Gohan cried out.
"I want my Mommy!" Kara sobbed.
"Goku is no longer with us," Piccolo said, his voice heavy with sorrow. "He sacrificed his life to ensure your survival."
"Don't make me give you a real reason to cry," Piccolo warned.
"Your father will be brought back with the Dragon Balls," Piccolo assured them.
"I want my dad to train me," Gohan pleaded.
"Enough!" Piccolo shouted at him. "Your father is too lenient with you, and you won't learn anything from him. I'll be the one to train you both, and you shouldn't expect me to go easy on you."
"But why?" Kara inquired.
"Do you remember the man who kidnapped both of you?" Piccolo asked. They nodded in acknowledgment.
"In one year, two even stronger Saiyans will arrive," Piccolo explained. "I need to ensure that you two are prepared for the impending battle against the Saiyans."
"But why? We're just kids," Kara protested. "We don't have any power," Gohan added.
"Allow me to demonstrate," Piccolo said. He lifted them up and swiftly hurled Gohan into a massive boulder. Then, he took flight and launched an energy blast, resulting in a massive explosion. He then hurled Kara towards another massive boulder, but just before impact, she felt an intense heat emanate from her eyes, and an energy blast shot forth, obliterating the boulder.
They gazed at him in astonishment as he raised his hand and said, "Clothes beam!" Instantly, they were clad in gi resembling his own.
"So, are you ready to begin your training?" Gohan asked.
"The first lesson you two will learn is how to protect each other," Piccolo stated. "If you can survive for six months, I will then teach you how to fight." He halted their response.
"I'll see you in six months. Farewell." With that, he sped away into the distance.
As he glanced back, he thought, "These children hold immense potential and will provide us with a significant advantage in the battle against the two Saiyans."
