Gohan and Kara Zor-El adventure
Earth
Wilderness
In the wilderness, Piccolo, Gohan, and Kara Zor-El stood in silence, waiting. The wind rustled the trees around them. Suddenly, they noticed Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha flying toward their position, landing beside them with serious expressions.
"I still can't believe we have to fight alongside Piccolo," Yamcha muttered, arms crossed.
"Shut it. We're temporary allies," Piccolo snapped back, not even looking at him.
"Once those two Saiyans are dead, I'm going back to my old ways," Piccolo added coldly.
"Sure you are," Kara said, raising an eyebrow.
"You two, quiet! Focus on the fight!" Piccolo barked.
"Yes, sir!" Gohan and Kara said in unison.
"I'm not gonna lie… I'm a little nervous," Krillin admitted, rubbing the back of his head.
Tien glanced at him. "Why did you even come? You know if you die here, the Dragon Balls can't bring you back again."
He then looked toward the small figure beside him. "Same goes for you, Chiaotzu."
"I didn't have much of a choice," Krillin replied with a sigh.
"Enough talk! They're here!" Piccolo shouted as everyone turned their gaze skyward.
From the clouds above, Nappa and Vegeta descended swiftly, landing with force a short distance away.
"So… these are Earth's so-called heroes," Vegeta said with a smirk.
"They've even got a Namekian," Nappa grinned.
"Good," Vegeta said. "Let's have some fun before we go after the Dragon Balls."
With a wide grin, Nappa pulled out several small seeds and tossed them onto the ground.
The ground trembled violently as the soil cracked and erupted. From the fissures, grotesque green creatures clawed their way out, screeching in unison. Six Saibamen had emerged, their twisted, plant-like bodies oozing slime and malice.
"What the hell…?" Kara whispered, narrowing her eyes.
"Those things…" Gohan tensed up beside her.
"They each have power levels on par with that weakling, Raditz," Nappa sneered, arms crossed. "Not bad for cannon fodder."
The group stood frozen for a moment, assessing the monsters. Then Krillin stepped forward, fists clenched.
"I'll take—"
"No," Yamcha interrupted, placing a hand on Krillin's shoulder. "Let me handle them."
Without waiting for a response, Yamcha launched himself forward in a blur, his aura crackling around him. As he neared the Saibamen, he unleashed a barrage of ki blasts. Explosions erupted across the battlefield, smoke and dirt filling the air.
From within the haze, the Saibamen hissed and leapt at him.
"They're tougher than I thought!" Yamcha growled, flaring his energy even higher. His aura ignited in a blue blaze as he caught one Saibaman midair, slamming it into the ground with a sickening crack. It shrieked before he silenced it with a ki blast to the face, vaporizing its head in a splatter of green gore.
Another lunged at him. Yamcha twisted, dodging the blow, then drove his knee into its stomach. The creature doubled over—and Yamcha grabbed its face and crushed it into the dirt, smashing it like a watermelon. Pieces of its skull scattered like shards of glass.
"Three down," Yamcha said through gritted teeth, panting lightly, his body stained with green blood.
"Well, well…" Vegeta said, arms still folded, watching with mild amusement. "Someone's feeling confident."
Suddenly, one of the injured Saibamen stumbled backward, limping away.
"Pathetic weakling," Vegeta muttered, flicking a finger. A tiny but precise energy blast pierced the creature's chest, blowing a hole clean through it. The Saibaman collapsed, twitching once before going still.
The last two snarled—but it wasn't rage. It was fear. Panic. They darted toward Yamcha, claws extended in desperation.
Yamcha narrowed his eyes, seizing the moment. He leapt back, planting his feet firmly. He cupped his hands together, energy swirling between his palms.
"Kaaaa…meeee…"
The Saibamen screeched, sprinting faster.
"…haaaa…meeeee…"
The energy swelled, growing brighter.
"HAAAAA!!!"
The Kamehameha roared to life, a massive beam of blue light tearing through the battlefield. It obliterated both Saibamen in a blinding flash, their bodies vaporized on contact, leaving only smoking craters in the dirt.
Yamcha lowered his arms, breathing heavily.
From behind him, Vegeta clapped slowly, mockingly.
"Congratulations," he said with a wicked smirk. "You're stronger than an insect, Raditz."
Nappa stared at the group with a wicked grin. "Looks like they used their time wisely… they've actually gotten stronger," he muttered.
"Why don't you go test them out?" Vegeta said casually, arms folded, a smirk tugging at his lips.
"Finally! I've been dying to kill someone!" Nappa roared with glee.
Without warning, Nappa blasted forward like a missile. Yamcha barely had time to react before a massive uppercut slammed into his gut. The impact echoed through the wilderness like thunder. Yamcha's eyes widened, blood bursting from his mouth as he was sent flying.
Nappa caught him midair by the arm and swung him around like a ragdoll before hurling him into a nearby cliff. The stone wall shattered on impact, and Yamcha's body dropped limply into the crater.
Everyone was stunned—paralyzed.
"YAMCHA!" Krillin shouted in panic. Without hesitation, he launched a volley of ki blasts at Nappa's back. Each blast exploded with a fiery bang, engulfing Nappa in smoke and flame.
As the dust settled, Nappa turned to look over his shoulder—unscathed, and grinning.
"Thanks for the massage," he sneered.
Before Krillin could react, Yamcha, bruised and bleeding, dragged himself out of the rubble and charged Nappa once more. He fired a barrage of ki blasts at close range, the explosions flashing across the battlefield.
But when the smoke cleared—Nappa stood there, untouched.
"D-Dammit!!" Yamcha screamed, veins bulging from his arms as his aura erupted around him in a blazing surge. He flew into the sky, gathering every last drop of power he had left. His hands moved into position.
"KAAAA…MEEEE…HAAAA…MEEEE…"
The blast formed, glowing with furious energy.
"HAAAAAA!!!"
The Kamehameha exploded from his palms, thundering toward Nappa with destructive force. It lit up the sky as it crashed into him—but before the energy could overwhelm the Saiyan, Nappa roared and charged through the beam, his body pushing against the blast like it was nothing.
In a flash, he appeared in front of Yamcha and drove his fist clean through his stomach.
Yamcha gasped in agony, blood spraying from his mouth. His body trembled.
"It looks like… you lost," Nappa growled into his ear.
But Yamcha's eyes burned with defiance. Blood dripping from his lips, he wrapped his arms around Nappa, holding him tightly.
"If I'm going to die… then I'm taking you with me!!"
His energy flared violently, shaking the skies. The earth cracked beneath them. His aura became unstable—wild, thrashing with chaotic power.
"YAMCHA! DON'T DO IT!!" Krillin screamed.
"Goodbye… my friends…" Yamcha whispered.
Then came the explosion.
A deafening roar split the heavens as the sky turned white. The blast lit up the wilderness, consuming both fighters in a fiery storm. Smoke and ash rained down, and silence fell.
As the smoke finally cleared… Nappa stood there. Burned. Bloodied. But alive.
"YAMCHAAAA!!!" Krillin cried out in horror, collapsing to his knees.
Nappa floated back down slowly, cracking his neck and wiping blood from his lip.
"Who's next?" he said with a manic grin, his eyes glinting with savage joy.
