The next world will be a Digimon world. It will be based on the events of Digimon Adventure 1999. If you're a fan of Digimon, you're gonna love the next world.
Chapter 20: Legend of the Digidestined Part 1
*Comet Observatory 1*
The group was back in the Comet Observatory after fighting against Three Legendary Pokemon controlled by the Heartless.
Luke: Another world is saved.
Caleb: Also, two items were destroyed to avoid being used by wrong hands again.
Sara: So what is our next world?
Rosalina: You'll see.
Rosalina guides them to the map which shows a particular island with a tall mountain in the center.
Caeli: What is that world?
Rosalina: That is a part of the Digital World. It's called File Island.
Veemon: Digital World?
Lunamon: It's our home.
Pulsemon: However, I don't remember File Island.
Herissmon: We should go to explore there.
The Digimon nods before the Aether Team uses their Star Shards to go to their next world.
*Stop Music*
World: File Island
The group lands in a town made of baby toys where Caeli and Kibou are seeing the place with fascination.
Mario: This-a place reminds-a me of the Toy Time Galaxy.
Caeli & Kibou: Whoa…!
S. Popplio: Popplio…!
S. Pichu: Pichu…!
Caeli and Kibou watches hanging toys from a tree. Those toys were being moved by the wind and were releasing squee sounds. Caeli and Kibou couldn't help but look upwards until they accidentally fell down on their backs. Luckily, the floor was very soft.
Caleb: Sometimes, I cannot stop wondering when Caeli was born.
Aria: The same thing I said when Kibou was born too.
In brief seconds, Caleb and Aria had brief flashbacks when Caeli and Kibou were babies. Even they had hanging toys and both baby siblings were cooing and laughing. Caleb approaches Caeli while Aria approaches Kibou. Both standing on their knees, close to their minor siblings, and tickling their bellies.
Caleb: Come here…
Aria: I know you like this…
Both Caeli and Kibou were giggling as they were being tickled by their older siblings. The group watches, knowing that Aria and Caleb were having their moments with their siblings until the four siblings managed to get up.
Aria: I just had a memory from the past. Memories from when you were a baby. But it doesn't matter how you grow up. You will always be my baby brother.
Kibou starts feeling homesick.
Kibou: I see...
Abby: Well, I say we must see the place.
Mario: Let's-a keep going.
*Toy Time Galaxy - Super Mario Galaxy*
The group nods before exploring the place as then they saw alot of baby cradles where in one cradle, they saw a small creature with black fur, small ears, and yellow eyes.
Sara: It's a Botamon, a Baby Digimon.
Caeli starts poking Botamon.
Caeli: A baby. He's so soft.
They kept exploring until they saw a small red Digimon.
Ila: That one is a Punimon.
In another cradle, they saw a blue seed-like Digimon who is covered by white hair.
Pomumon: It's a Yuramon.
The Yuramon sneezes.
Abby: Bless you, little one.
In a different cradle, they saw a white jellyfish-like Digimon with black eyes.
Aria: That one is a Poyomon.
Eventually, they saw more Baby Digimon. There are light blue blobs with dragon-like back antenna, periwinkle drop-like blobs, black seed-like blobs with two leaves on the head, and white versions of Botamon who have pink cheeks.
Sara: There are Chibomon, Moonmon, Nyokimon, and SnowBotamon.
Rei: I'm glad to know that everything looks peaceful here.
Suddenly, an orange hamster-like creature with wing-shaped ears spotted the group.
Creature: T.K., I found people and new Digimon too!
?: I'm coming, Patamon!
The group turns to see Patamon along with the boy named T.K.
T.K.: Wow! It's Mario and Mew in the Digital World!
Mario: How did you know about me?
S. Mew: Mew?
T.K.: Easy. I played you two in video games.
Kibou: Video games?
Luxmon: Beats me.
T.K.: So what are your names? I'm T.K. and he is Patamon.
Patamon: Hi there.
Then after the introductions of the Aether Team with their Pokemon, the Digimon introduced themselves.
Veemon: I'm Veemon. Despite loving fun and adventures, I'm known for bringing good luck.
Lunamon: I'm Lunamon. Despite being shy sometimes, I developed attachments with Aria and even Veemon.
As Lunamon held Veemon's left hand with her right hand, Veemon couldn't help but blush.
Pulsemon: My name is Pulsemon. I have a lively personality and I treat anyone without discrimination.
Dracomon: I'm Dracomon. I'm known for being the "Progenitor" of all Dramon-Type Digimon.
Floramon: My name is Floramon. I'm similar to Palmon who are our rivals, but I'm very different from my kind.
Luxmon: I'm Luxmon. I belong to the lowest rank of angels.
Herissmon: My name is Herissmon. I'm known for curling myself into a ball and even attacking just like Sonic the Hedgehog.
Hackmon: My name is Hackmon. My Digivolution Line is linked to one of the Royal Knights.
Pomumon: And I'm Pomumon, but don't confuse me with a fruit. Also, I'm faster at running than flying.
T.K.: Are you Digidestined too, just like me?
Caleb: Yeah, more or less.
Caleb and Aria shows their D-Arks while the rest shows their D3 Digivices.
T.K.: Wow. Your Digivices look so different from mine.
T.K. pulls out his Digivice which looks the same as the one which was found in the Great Cave Offensive.
Kibou: T.K., do you know where are we?
T.K.: We're in the Primary Village. Right now, me and Patamon were playing with the Baby Digimon.
Caeli: We also arrived here and met the Baby Digimon too.
T.K.: So, have you seen my brother Matt, Tai, or the others?
Ila: Sorry, but no.
S. Fennekin: Fen.
Rei: But we will help you find them.
S. Sobble: Sob.
S. Mew: Mew.
S. Mew floats close to T.K. and nuzzles his cheek, causing him to giggle.
Caleb: T.K., Patamon, could you please explain to us how did you two arrive here?
T.K. & Patamon: Sure.
*Xehanort - The Early Years*
While T.K. and Patamon were explaining, Seth and Young Xehanort, along with an orange anthropomorphic lion-like Digimon and a green oni-like Digimon, are watching the group.
Y. Xehanort: So they are here.
Seth: I can see the new youngest boy is from those kids who doesn't like to fight.
Lion: The Digidestined indicated by my master is here.
Ogre: And they have more company.
Y. Xehanort: Well, you two know what to do, Leomon and Ogremon.
Leomon readies his sword while Ogremon prepares his club.
Seth: Let's add some Heartless too.
Seth then summons some Heartless like Shadows, Soldiers, Fat Bandits, Powerwilds, and Air Pirates.
Leomon: I am pledged to obey your command, Devimon.
*Stop Music*
Now with the Aether Team, all the Baby Digimon in front of the group have scared faces.
T.K.: OK, so you don't wanna play any games?
Patamon turns his head and gasps.
Patamon: Leomon came back!
T.K.: Huh?
*Battle Theme - Digimon Adventure(PSP)*
The group turns to see Leomon who runs down the cliffside with sword in hand.
Patamon: Boom Bubble!
Patamon fires an air bubble which hits Leomon, followed by S. Pichu using Electro Ball, and Luxmon using Tiny Knuckle with both attacks hitting Leomon too.
Aria: Come with me, little ones!
The Baby Digimon nods before following Aria to hide in a safe place.
T.K.: We gotta get outta here!
Patamon: Yeah!
The group manages to bring the Baby Digimon with them to a safe place while T.K. covers himself.
T.K.: He's scary!
Floramon: Was Leomon always like that?
Patamon: No, Leomon was always a good Digimon. I just wish we could get rid of the Black Gear that's causing him to be so mean.
T.K.: That's easier said than done! He's just way too big!
Then the Heartless appears.
Mario: Uh-oh…! The Heartless-a are here…!
Mario then summons his Keyblade just like the rest.
T.K.: Wow. Since when can you summon those key-shaped swords?
Luke: It's a long story, kiddo.
T.K.: Are those creatures Digimon?
Patamon: I don't think so, T.K. I haven't seen them before.
Veemon: He is right. Those creatures are Heartless.
?: Hello, you've got company! You're a nice little kid, aren't ya? Get your hide out here, so I can get a good look at ya! Cause if you don't, your little friend here's gonna squeak his last squeak.
The group turns around and saw Ogremon holding a squirming Poyomon as hostage.
Caleb: Dang! Now what?
Sara: I hate hostage situations!
Caeli: Look out!
Just as Caeli said, the group ducks as Leomon slices the tree as he was behind them. Caleb quickly casts Thundaga and Aria follows by using Strike Raid with both attacks hitting Leomon.
Leomon: I've been commanded by my master to take the DigiDestined!
T.K. and Patamon gasps in fear as Caleb, S. Mew, and Veemon stood in front of the younger duo.
Caleb: I don't know what you are planning to do! But I won't let you hurt T.K. and Patamon!
Leomon: Then I'll take you down!
?: Howling Blaster!
A blue ice beam is shot from the trees that Leomon jumps away from and the group saw a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a green sleeveless shirt, brown gloves, and blue pants, riding a white wolf with blue stripes.
Patamon: It's Garurumon!
Boy: T.K.!
T.K.: You came in time, Matt!
The boy named Matt got off of Garurumon's back before approaching the group.
Matt: That was close!
TK: Yeah.
Garurumon jumps up as he fights against Leomon.
Abby: This is our chance!
The Aether Team along with Mario engages the Heartless. Caleb activates his Mind Form, Luke activates a new form which he now is wearing a red ninja suit, now known as Psycho Form, while Aria also activates a new form which she now is wearing a turquoise glistening top, having her abdomen and arms exposed, short turquoise fingerless gloves, turquoise glistening miniskirt, turquoise heels, and fairy wings on her back, now known as Winx Form.
Matt: Who are they?
T.K.: They are new friends. Even Mario and Mew are with them.
In the battle, Caleb fires his Mind Shots at the Heartless, Luke unleashes psychic energy blades and psychic energy spheres against the Heartless, then he lifts a Fat Bandit with psychic energy to toss it against the Heartless, while Aria fires Stellar Flame, Stellar Icicle, and Stellar Lightning against the Heartless.
Ogremon: Now you've done it! This little guy's gonna get squished!
Ogremon was still holding Poyomon, but then two white gloves picked up the Poyomon from Ogremon's fingers as he noticed the Poyomon was gone.
Ogremon: Huh? Where'd he go?
?: He's staying with us!
He turns to see a boy with brown hair and brown eyes, wearing blue goggles on his forehead, blue t-shirt, and brown shorts, holding the Baby Digimon in his hands.
T.K.: Tai is here too!
Now back with Ogremon who is glaring at Tai.
Ogremon: Over my stinky armpits, he will!
Tai:(Sarcasm)Oh, I'm so scared. Get em, Greymon!
Then an orange dinosaur-like Digimon wearing a brown skull on his head appears, facing Ogremon.
Greymon: Nova Blast!
He breathes a fireball right at Ogremon who jumps away.
Ogremon: Didn't anyone ever tell you not to play with fire? Someone could get hurt! Namely me! Now to agitate you, I'll show you who's the head honcho on this island! I could fight you, blindfolded!
Ogremon jumps over, but Greymon swats him away with his tail.
Greymon: What was that about fighting me, blindfolded?
Suddenly, six Black Gears flew out of a crack in the mountain and fly into Leomon's back, making him roar in pain while T.K. and Patamon gasps.
Matt: The Black Gears!
*Middle Boss Battle - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time*
Leomon stands straight up, roaring in pain as dark energy shoots out. Then Leomon's body grows bigger and his fur and mane turns dark while Garurumon growls as Leomon readies his sword again.
Kibou:(Nervously)What happened to him?
Luxmon: Leomon is now bigger and black!
Matt: No! Turn back, or he'll beat you to a pump!
Leomon: Fist of the Beast King!
Leomon fires an orange lion-shaped blast from his fist which hits and knocks back Garurumon and Matt approaches his Digimon.
Matt: Are you okay?
Then Leomon turns to Greymon before using Fist of the Beast King which hits Greymon in the face and sends him flying into some giant blocks. Tai quickly approaches his Digimon.
Tai: No! We need you, Greymon!
Devimon's Voice: I command you to bring me the DigiDestined! Starting with the smallest child!
Leomon turns to T.K.
Leomon: I am your humble servant and will obey you...Devimon.
Leomon then walks over to T.K. and Patamon while Matt is with Garurumon, but he saw Leomon coming towards T.K.
Matt: T.K., watch out!
T.K.: What now, Matt?
Matt: Hurry! Move away!
But then the Aether Team, who manages to defeat the Heartless, gathers to face Leomon.
Rei: We got this!
Devimon's Voice: Change of plan, Leomon! Take care of the Keyblade Wielders!
Leomon: As you wish, master.
Leomon attacks by using his Lion King Sword, trying to slash the group multiple times with his sword, but they've dodged his attack. Then S. Mew uses Thunderbolt while S. Pichu and S. Popplio uses Disarming Voice to hit Leomon. Aria then uses an unique skill called Water Whiplash which she forms twin whips made of water which hits Leomon who retaliates by using Fist of the Beast King, but Luke uses his telekinetic force to return the attack back at Leomon.
Luke: What do you think of the taste of your medicine?
Leomon tried to use his sword, but Floramon held him by using Poison Ivy, allowing Luxmon to use Tiny Knuckle, Pulsemon uses Minor Impulse, Lunamon uses Tear Shot, Veemon uses V-Shot, Dracomon uses Baby Breath, Hackmon uses Pepper Breath, Pomumon uses Rapid Seed, while Herissmon uses Needle-Point Dive, but then Leomon uses Smashing Kick which he delivers a powerful heel attack, but the group dodges his attack. S. Celebi uses Magical Leaf, Sara casts Triple Plasma, S. Absol uses Psycho Cut, Alcremie uses Dazzling Gleam, S. Sobble uses Hydro Pump, Rei casts Thundaga, S. Fennekin uses Fire Blast, Ila casts Mega Flare, Abby casts Balloonga, Polteageist uses Shadow Ball, Caleb fires Mind Shots and powerful Blizzaga Spells, Caeli casts Faith, Kibou uses Thunder Raid, while Mario uses Flame Salvo Shotlock with the attacks hitting Leomon who then uses Shockwave which he fires a blast of energy from his hand which pushes the team back. Then Patamon starts to attack Leomon with Boom Bubble, but it doesn't do damage.
Patamon: Boom Bubble! Oh no! It's not working!
Then Leomon grabs Patamon who was trying to escape, but Leomon's hold was too strong for him.
T.K.: Patamon!
Rei: I will hit Leomon!
Ila: No, Rei! Even with our Keyblades, it will be risky! We could hurt Patamon too!
The situation was getting tense. Suddenly, a giant green boxing cactus-like creature appears from the sky.
Cactus: Wanna fight? How about a prickly bang zoom!
The boxing cactus hits Leomon's back and knocks Patamon from his hand who hits the dirt.
Matt: Whoa, Togemon! And Mimi!
Taking the chance, T.K. ran towards his partner.
T.K.: Patamon! You gotta take it easy, buddy!
Patamon: I'm sorry.
T.K.: What for?
Patamon: I was just trying to protect you.
T.K.: And you were doing great! Don't feel bad, little guy.
Suddenly, a giant blue rhinoceros beetle-like Digimon appears from the sky and from it came a boy with red hair, wearing a red long-sleeved shirt, yellow gloves, and brown shorts, along with a girl with brown hair and wearing a pink cowgirl hat, dress, and brown gloves, who is named Mimi.
Tai: Izzy, Kabuterimon!
Izzy: Tai, you're never going to believe this!
Tai: What's happening, Izzy?
Izzy: We have the consummate solution to all our problems!
Tai: That's cool! But what are you talking about?
Mimi and Izzy held their Digivices to Tai.
Mimi: Check em out.
Izzy: They call them Digivices! They have the capability to completely destroy the Black Gears!
Tai: Then let's give them a try! We have no other choice right now! We have to take a chance and stop him!
Luke: Looks like Leomon wants some more!
Leomon is still slowly approaching Luke with Dracomon and S. Absol while Matt stands in front of T.K., hoping to protect him.
Matt: Don't worry. I got you covered, TK.
Tai: Ready for a real fight?
Matt: Huh?
The group turns to see Tai who is walking towards Leomon.
Tai: What are you waiting for, booger breath? Come on and get us if you dare!
Matt: What's up, dude? Have you totally flipped out?
Leomon: I must do as I am commanded! Come here!
Tai: Now!
Tai held his Digivice out against Leomon and the device shines, making Leomon roar in pain, and the Black Gears are slowly being pushed out from his back. Matt was impressed by what he was seeing before looking at his own Digivice.
Matt: You know, these things pack quite a punch!
Matt then joins Tai by holding his Digivice to Leomon, making him roar louder.
Rei: If they both can do it!
Ila: Then us too!
Both Rei and Ila uses their Digivices to glow close to Leomon as then more Black Gears flew out of Leomon's back.
Ogremon: How do they do that? Rotten kids!
Izzy: Ogremon, over here!
Ogremon: Huh?
Kabuterimon: You've just begun to see our power! Electro Shocker!
Kabuterimon fires a sphere of electricity which seemingly hits Ogremon, but he jumps back, while the Black Gears are expelled from Leomon's back and dissolved.
Ila: Yes!
*Stop Music*
Then Leomon shrinks back to normal and his real color returns to him before falling to his knees and also reveals to have blue eyes.
Izzy: It worked! We destroyed the Black Gears!
T.K.: We're safe now! Leomon's back to his normal self!
Ogremon watches from afar.
Ogremon: Ha! Those little fools are kidding themselves! They don't know who they're dealing with! They're gonna find out sooner than they think!
Knowing that he won't have a chance against the bigger group, he decides to run away while Greymon reverts back into a yellow dinosaur-like Digimon, Garurumon reverts back into a yellow mammalian with blue and white furskin on his back, Kabuterimon reverts back into a red ladybug-like Digimon, while Togemon reverts back into a light green plant-like Digimon with a pink flower on her head. Also, Caleb, Aria, and Luke reverts back to their regular forms.
Mario: Phew…
Aria: Is everyone alright?
*Laughter and Merriment*
The Baby Digimon gave happy squeals and nodding while Tai along with Matt, Mimi, and Izzy approaches the Pokemon.
Matt: Are those Digimon too?
Mimi: The ones who looks like ice cream, the blue seal, and the yellow mouse looks so cute.
S. Popplio was clapping her fins while S. Pichu was rubbing the back of his head.
Alcremie: Alcremie.
S. Popplio: Popplio-Pop-Pop.
S. Pichu: Pichu.
Sara: Technically, they are Pokemon. Their names are Mew, Absol, Celebi, Popplio, Sobble, Fennekin, Polteageist, Alcremie, and Pichu.
Pulsemon: Also the last time, another group confused us with Pokemon.
The other Digimon nods in agreement with Pulsemon.
Dinosaur: So, what are your names? My name is Agumon. I'm Tai's Digimon.
Mammalian: I'm Gabumon. I'm Matt's Digimon.
Ladybug: My name is Tentomon. I'm Izzy's Digimon.
Plant: And I'm Palmon. I'm Mimi's Digimon and best friend too.
Then after the introductions.
Izzy: I see you're Digidestined like us.
Caleb: More or less as we told T.K.
The Aether Team nods before showing their Digivices to the Digidestined.
Tai: Your Digivices look very different from ours.
Matt: Also, what are those key-shaped swords?
Mario: They are called Keyblades.
Mimi: I wonder what you are doing in the Digital World.
Leomon: I can answer your questions.
Knowing that Leomon was back to normal and free from the Black Gears' influence, now it's the rightful time to explain to both groups.
*A Walk in Andante*
Then both groups are listening to Leomon who is sitting by a tree.
Leomon: According to an ancient legend, our world will be taken over by a strange dark force that will change good Digimon into bad ones. Our ancestors have predicted that a group of children called the DigiDestined will appear from another world. When they arrive, they will come to possess superpowers that will eventually save our world from destruction. I believe their prediction has come true. File Island has been seized by an evil power. We're in danger of destruction and now you've appeared.
Rei: So what about us?
Ila: How do you know about the Keyblade?
Leomon: The Chosen Ones by the Keyblade says that those ones have the ability to fight against the creatures of darkness and seal the Keyhole from this world to protect it, allowing the Digidestined to continue safely, while the Keyblade Wielders go towards a different world.
Tai: Whoa! That's amazing! But tell me. How can you be sure we're the kids you're talking about?
Matt: Yeah. Do you have proof that we're the same ones?
Leomon: It's been foretold that the Digidestined have the ability to make Digimon Digivolve. You've done that and that's all the proof I need.
Izzy: I, for one, hope that it's true. My theory is that we'll be released after we save the island. Once our purpose is served, there's no other reason for us to remain.
Mimi: And I'll finally be able to change these clothes!
Izzy: That's right. If Leomon's information is correct, we'll be heading straight for home.
Mimi: I can't wait!
Matt: How can we make it happen? We're not even sure who's causing it. What if it's a force that's too big for us to handle?
Matt then turns to the big mountain from afar. Caleb also turns to it.
Caleb: What's that mountain?
Leomon: It's Infinity Mountain. The place where Devimon is the main cause of all this evil. To save the island, you're going to have to defeat him.
Then Tai stands up.
Tai: Let's go for it!
But then the Digidestined made unsure noises.
Rei: Huh?
Tai: Come on, everyone! Why not? If we don't defeat him, it'll never be over!
Izzy: Fine with me! Besides, it's impossible for us to lose with the Digivices.
Mimi: First thing on my list when I get home is to do some killer shopping.
Palmon: For that to happen, we have to get you back home.
Tentomon: If we all work together, we're sure to win.
Agumon: I'm ready anytime you are, buddy!
Tai:(Nodding)Mmm-hmm!
Gabumon: How about it, Matt? Are we up to the challenge, my friend?
Matt: It's gonna be tough. When you get down to it, we have no other choice.
Pomumon: So I say it's time to go.
Abby: You're right, Pomumon.
Polteageist: Polt!
Hackmon: Devimon will be stronger than our previous enemies.
Ila: It's true, but somehow, we will defeat him!
S. Fennekin: Fennekin!
Herissmon: We're in this together!
Rei: Yeah! That's what friends are for!
S. Sobble: Sobble!
Lunamon: We cannot give up!
Aria: We made it this far!
Alcremie: Alcremie!
Luxmon: With faith, we will win!
Kibou: Yeah!
S. Pichu: Pichu!
Floramon: Devimon would look stronger and evil, but I'm not afraid of him!
Caeli: I'll do my best to help too!
S. Popplio: Popplio!
Dracomon: I'm not afraid of Devimon!
Luke: Me neither!
S. Absol: Absol!
Pulsemon: We're more powerful than Devimon!
Sara: With our teamwork, we will win!
S. Celebi: Celebi!
Veemon: It's our destiny to protect this world!
Caleb: And also, we will change the destiny of everyone!
S. Mew: Mew!
Mario: Let's-a go!
Leomon: All right then, troops! Let's get to it!
Tai: Far out! It's a done deal!
It was now decided. The moment to face Devimon and save File Island has come.
That's it for chapter 20. Next time, our heroes will get to battle Devimon.
