The next day 6th to the last day of summer vacation
Nos and XR were asleep in the coffin. XR was holding onto Nos, clinging to him and slowly woke up. He sat up and stretched out but felt his Nosy clings onto his abdominal area in his sleep. 'Cute.' he thought and was about to lie back down when Nos's alarm went off.
Nos wakes up but curls onto XR and mumbles out "5 more minutes."
"Ok." He holds him close when he hears Vanet running down the halls. "Aunty!" XR groans and lays his head against his mate's chest. "Sounds like aunty 'Tina is here…."
Nos sat up and had XR sat on his lap. "We better get dressed." Nos yawns.
"Got any clothes to fit me?" XR yawns, he figures he can wear the same clothes.
"I recently bought some clothes for you." Nos stretches while XR is up and helps him out of the coffin. "I got clothes for you so that you have some here." Nos could not look at XR, remembering the first time XR shifted to his organic self. "Vanet helped me pick some out."
"Wait, did you get these clothes the day after that day?" XR asked as he saw Nos opening a golden drawer with clothes and realized he must have scanned him for his size and everything. "So you did take a peak!" XR grins as Nos would not look at him and goes into the bathroom. XR couldn't help but grin and look at the clothes and saw they were pretty simple but stylish and had to thank Vanet. "I like the style." XR smiles and was thinking of how to make this week fun for Vanet but then blushed thinking Nos was cleaning himself right now. Just as he was going to see Nos, his boyfriend was already done and dressed.
"Your turn." Nos fixes his sleeve but blushes when XR fixes his collar.
"See you downstairs." XR grins, kissing his cheek before stepping into the bathroom. Nos smiles before stepping out to see Vanet and Gravitina.

Gravitina has had lovers, some were good, some not so much. She can say she had fallen hard and she has had her heart broken by the same man from two different universes. However, she has one true absolute love for one who has not left her side.
Nos-4-a2
They met when they had that meeting about some plan that never happened.
"Blast that lightyear! Meeting is done!" He shouts out and leaves the room.
'We didn't even do anything.' Gravitina looks annoyed as she watches the tyrant having a tantrum left along with all the other men and bots. She would love to leave such a tacky place but she had to wait for her ride to be worked on thanks to those imbeciles' minions breaking it. She leaned back but noticed that the robot who sat in the meeting was morphing some kind of metal. Being bored, she watches him heat up the metallic object. She was surprised to see he was so focused, he was ignoring everything around him. She thought he was no different than Zurg recalling he was made by that tyrant. She perked to see a small figure of her.
"You are quite good." Gravitina smirks walking over to him.
The energy vampire raises a brow. "Not exactly." He looked at it and saw it float to her.
Gravitina observes it, grinning. "I can doubt that. I have never seen such well detailed sculpture. You have quite the hands~" She smirks but it didn't faze him.
"I can retort that but I will take that as a compliment. However," Nos zaps the rings so it floats. "I admire your brilliance and your skills more. You can go toe to toe with Zurg." He smiles with a sullen feature. "I can bend the wills of all machines, but to pull a world by force, that is astonishing."
Gravitina couldn't help but remember how Nos made her so flustered that day and made her genuinely happy. He was the only man in her life who did not betray her and accepted her for who she is. He is a true kind hearted villain and if she could, she would have proposed to him a romantic relationship or an evil partnership. Of course she already knew he did not fancy women but he didn't know it yet at the time. Nonetheless, she still had absolute love and care for him and wanted him by his side.
She knew he was more than precious only after he was destroyed by Lightyear and his team.
She was in prison for a while but with good behavior she was confine in a better room. She was reading about the latest news but she was not enticed by the news so much, she was wondering about her dear friend. The last time she had received a letter was nearly a week. She flips the pages and sees Lightyear had beaten and stopped the infamous Nos-4-a2 from turning the galaxy into wirewolves. She giggles remembering in a letter he wrote about his plans and how after he turns them all wirewolves, he would come and bring her back. He even had given her a special deflector to not turn her into a wirewolf. It was in the form of a bracelet that repels from wirewolves and turns.
He calls it wolfsbane.
She couldn't help but admire it but the day it happened, the plan failed but she was hoping she could see him soon. But it has already been 3 days and nothing! She hated to ask around but she did ask one of her guards.
"Heard he was destroyed-"
"I need to make a call." Gravitina said coldly. She of course got out soon as money talked for her and she made her way to Zurgs's planet, knowing he was there. She was wearing the bracelet Nos made for her and waited until she landed in a port bay. She didn't hesitate to wait and made her way over to that tower.
"'I hate going there.'"
She remembered Nos telling her about his fragmented memories of his time when he needed a fix up and she called a mechanic for him. She came to see it was under construction but she smirks at the idea of her bestie trashing and ruining his creator's home. She sees them repairing the tower but looks around for that Tyrant
"Easy on my back!"
Gravitina goes to where he shouted from and lo and behold she finds him in some masseuse room. "Evil emperor Zurg-"
"How dare you enter without knocking!" Zurg shot up but everyone in the room heard a crack and a cry of pain.
Gravitina watches and wonders how she has been under this man's grip? How much her bestie was under fear of him? "Where is Nos-4-a2? I want him now!"
"That scrap of metal?!" Zurg sat up and laughed, mocking her. "I wasted away in my evil Lab for days to make the ultimate weapon! Only for that thing to destroy my tower!" He arched his back
"He was closer to ruling the galaxy than you!" She forces the minions out but sees the Hornets aim their blasters on her but she ignores them. She wanted to destroy him right here and now but if she did this, she may never see her dear friend again. "I just want whatever you have of Nos and I'll be on my way."
Zurg stood up and the villainess felt a stir in her heart of pure fear of what Zurg will say. "My dear Gravitina, Nos is dead. Completely obliterated by that fiendish thing. However," He turns on a cam revealing shards of the stone, although in pieces, it was active. "Thanks to him, i might have a new inspiration for monster making."
Gravitina felt her blood went cold and she felt tears coming down her cheeks. "Please," She kneels down, never had she ever kneeled for anyone. "If you even have anything from him, please give it to me."
Zurg merely sneers. "There was nothing left to even melt. Get her out."
Gravitina shook and stood up, she didn't say anything else and left.
She sat with Vanet, who was making her a beautiful bracelet with the help of Nos with them. She smiles but she thinks back to that memory. She didn't care about Nos living quietly or the fact he hid away, she was happy to see him alive now and living his own life with her in it. She looked at her goddaughter, she made it official, and she was happy that her bestie opened his core to having more people in it.
And especially opening to love thanks to XR.
She despised him, in fact, she would love nothing more than to scrap and crumble XR. She was skeptical but respected his choice when she saw XR with her bestie back then. Over time her views on the little bot changed. He was much different from before, and she saw how much XR was becoming a part of Nos's world and Vanet's. And she felt slightly in debt to him for saving her from being wrongly arrested.
"So, I recalled you and XR are dating now?" She hadn't been able to talk to him but she read his messages recently and from a call that her bestie found love. She wasn't shocked after reading that her frenemy actually made more than one move on Nos.
"We are and I am really happy." Nos smiles as he drank his oil, Vanet was next to Gravitina, making her a necklace now out of beaded stones to match the bracelet.
Gravitina smiles but sees the small hints about the development of their relationship. 'Not to mention, he seems more relaxed.' It was a really nice moment to get some details. "My sweet Vanet, can you ask XR to heat up a pot?"
"Yes aunty!" Vanet beamed, she hurried out to the kitchen.
When her darling niece left, Gravitina had a cat-like grin. "Was he good or bad in bed?"
Nos choked a bit, but did not spit. He had to gulp it down and looked at his friend who was grinning playfully at him. "What gave it away?"
"Darling, you can hide it so well but I know you very well~" She clasped her hands together. "And you are glowing like a firefly."
Nos was turning dark blue but could not, and will not answer.
"Well I certainly am happy to see he makes you happy, and by the looks of it, satiated your hunger." Gravitina smirks.
"He is very," he could not stop his blushing face and yet he could not help but smile. "Wonderful to me. It was very new and extraordinary for me." Nos tried not to think about it. "However my Tata found out what we did, he saw the marks and I was limping a bit…." He can tell Gravitina was grinning after hearing him. "This stays between us." He glares slightly, he knows his dear friend will not turn on him. However, he does need to remind her.
"I won't, I promise. Now that I think about it, if you ever need time for yourselves, I can always keep Vanet with me." Gravitina smiles. "I know time together is special and much needed."
Just as Nos was going to speak, XR came with vanet bringing a tray with cups and Gravitina's attention was now on Vanet. He was much more relieved to not answer her.
"So 'Tina, how's it been?" XR brings her the tin container of tea.
"Nothing much but heard about your bitter argument with the commander…. Are you ok?" Gravitina wasn't much into XR's business, but to hear he was toe to toe with the commander must have been serious. She couldn't imagine his feelings but she can guess the subject was.
XR blinks at the sudden care. "I…. I'm alright, just keeping away from there, especially now that I know… something." He stops, worrying how Vanet feels to know the truth.
Nos stood up. "Vanet, how would you like to see the animals right now?"
"We can see the bats?" Vanet beams and Nos nods and takes her outside. He kisses XR on the cheek before leaving to chase after Vanet.
XR smiles soon sullenly. "I'm guessing you heard from Warp?"
Gravitina can never admit it, but seeing XR like this, it bothers her. "Is it hard to talk about it?"
"No but it's hard to believe it," XR massages his head. "I just found out the truth about po- Commander Nebula. He made the choice to keep any space rangers from the capital planet on the day when Vanet and her mom arrived on this planet…."
Gravitina was quiet, but everything in the room was shaking. She wanted to go and destroy Star command! Find that scum Commander and make him plead to Vanet for mercy! But she knows what this could do to XR, what it would do to Vanet. She screeched and about to slam her hands to the table but XR caught her hands. She couldn't get mad right now, she can make an evil plot later. She needed to be empathetic to him. "How did you find out?"
XR let go seeing she wasn't too mad. "It started out with leaving, then Buzz tried to talk me out of living in my new home, by the way you're welcome there. Anyhow, just as I was trying to make some peace, the commander called me to his office. I didn't know Buzz was sending information to the commander until that moment. That's when things got worse.
That was when I used the lie detector in my program," He didn't know if he should be glad or should have thought of it way before. "See, originally I was hoping to know if he was lying about his thoughts on Nos. But then, I learned he knew about Vanet and lied about how he knew and then he lied about the reason for no space rangers patrolling the City. That's when he tried to force an order…. And I reprogrammed my system to refuse." XR answers. "He then suspended me from missions until further notice. Luckily I haven't been inputting any data memory since I saw Nos again. I just can't wrap my head around this, you know?" XR frowned and held his head with one hand and laid the other on the table. He then smiled. "Nos did come to get me and guessed something was wrong."
"Did you two have passionate sex after?" Gravitina asked, seeing XR was a dark shade and glares.
"That's the question you've been really aching to ask, isn't it?" XR swore she is as bad as a snooping journalist.
"At least your mood changed, dear." Gravitina spoke with a soft smile. "But is that when it happened?"
"No! And I'm not gonna talk about this with you!" XR glares but starts to chuckle. "Thanks for the uncomfortable change of subject."
"Dear we both need it and," Gravitina sighs looking at her cup. "It does clear some of my suspicions."
"What do you mean?" XR didn't know if she meant the sex or the thing with the commander.
"About your commander. Before that dreadful commander, there were some stories that the previous tyrant and commander were always at odds. But what is odd was how they fought." She hands him a disk and shows him a hologram, the original attacks and pinpoint.
XR was analyzing it and was startled. "This reminds me of a chess game if it was 3 dimensional. But I don't get this-" that's when it clicked. "I think I cracked on who's doing this, and he's super old and creepy." He grimaces at the idea of DRAC. "I mean Nosfer said this DRAC creep has a hand in star command and has been working with Zurg. I wouldn't pass that creep playing both sides over the years." XR then wondered what else is there with the creep. 'If he knew about Vanet and her mom, what else does he know?' He felt worse, thinking about the father of Vanet and any other of her relatives that was eliminated. 'What else did the commander do?'
"The same cretin that is after Nos now?" Gravitina glares at the thought of this galactic turd.
"The same guy who was gonna make Nos his supposed bride if he brought Vanet to him. Also the same guy who got ripped to pieces by Nos." He felt proud of that.
Gravitina grins with him. "Our darling Nos is much better without him! If he can't last a fight with him, he is unworthy."
"I can agree with you." XR crosses his arms.
"No one is more deserving than you." Gravitina saw XR startled and dumbfounded. "I will say it only once: you are the only one who deserves to be with Nos, you perverted little tin hero."
XR couldn't help but chuckle and smile. "Hearing that from you, it means a lot. And I care about you too, 'Tina; you're Nos's best friend and confidante. And you have a big heart so I know you care as much as I do for Vanet. So, I was thinking we can plan something together for Vanet and Nos?"
Gravitina squeals in excitement and has a wonderful idea. "A small party but at my place~"
XR stiffens his smiles. "How about at my place? It's Nosfers's old place-"
"You better not ruin it." Gravitina stated.
"Then please come and see it." XR was now feeling like they were back to frenemies again, but maybe less enemies.
Nos comes back with Vanet who was holding her camera happily and both saw Nosfer outside the house on his chair in his porch.
"Is everything okay?" Nos asked, not bothered with his love and his best friend's antics as Vanet goes to sit in the shade of the porch.
"They asked me to step out as they are planning something together." Nosfer relaxed as he was relieved to not hear anything broken.
"Really?" Nos grins hearing that and pulls over a chair and sits with his Tata. He was not going to bother them and just wait till they ended whatever they were working on.
"Hey I have a good sense of style!" Nos hears XR arguing but glad to hear they were getting along. "I do not have an obsession with Lightyear!" He hears Gravitina shout. 'Well as good as it gets.' He thought but relaxed as he and his daughter and father were enjoying the gentle warm breeze as Nosfer played the radio on to ignore frenemies bickering. The closest to a normal day with them.
Over 2 hours was when Gravitina and XR were officially finished with whatever they had been working on together but Gravitina left to do something about a small personal business. Nos was reading a book with Vanet as XR was cooking with Nosfer.
"Papa, I was wondering if it's ok to walk around town tomorrow?" Vanet asked.
"Of course, anything you have in mind?" Nos asked.
"I want to get something for you for your anniversary of your job." Vanet spoke.
"I forgot about that." Nos nearly forgot but sees Vanet pout. "I have been very distracted by many things, especially when you will be going back to school soon. I rather enjoy spending my time over the end of my probation period." He held her as he stood up to put a book away.
"Papa! This is important! This is when we also became a family officially." She scolded him. "Please?"
Nos smiles hearing that. "Only because it is to celebrate that we became a family. Does that mean you wish to spend the day with XR?"
"Yes please." She asked, "I want to get you something with him to make it special."
"Lunchtime is ready!" XR shouted.
Nos smiles and answers her as he carries her to the dining room. "Alright then." He brings her to the kitchen to see XR placing dinner which looked much better than his first time cooking.
"Alright sparky, you gotta give me feedback about my cooking." XR sat with Nos who brought two cans of oil for them. They both, with Nosfer, watch Vanet take a bite of the spaghetti but soon she is gobbling it away.
"Kiddo take it easy!" XR was startled a bit but saw Vanet was not forcing herself to eat. 'She really likes it.' He saw she really enjoyed the spaghetti.
"I like it!" She beamed, handing her empty plate to him. "Can I have more?" She asked.
"Of course." XR didn't hesitate, he knows when someone asks for seconds, that's the best feedback.
Nos felt happy to find Vanet enjoyed the food, a little jealous of XR's ability to cook better but more happy to see her enjoy the food. He watches XR come back bringing more for her and she enjoys it. He then perks when XR brings him energy bars to drink. He smiles at the consideration XR did for him. "Thank you." He watches XR drink his own cup with him.
After eating together, Nos and XR walk with Vanet and Nosfer, who was proud of XR's first hand at cooking. It was barely After 2pm but they figured walking in the cool areas of the forest was the perfect way to start the day after everything.
"You did well in cooking, XR." Nosfer pats XR's back as they are walking down the path to the lake.
XR was surprised more when he said that and made no other comment. "Any chance-"
"Not like this." Nosfer stated. "But I am happy to see you are being a good man to my fiu." he walks over with Vanet who was taking pictures.
XR felt relief but he felt a bit sullen looking out in the clear blue sky. Still the afternoon but
"Are you alright?" Nos asked, he walked up to XR and wrapped his arms around his.
XR hesitated but opened his port, just by his earlobe. He never had to share his port, even with 42 who was his longest relationship. But here was Nos always giving him access and even when they were sharing memories or thoughts. His Moon was always willing to share his port only to him.
Nos was startled but opened his connector, revealing it in his neck just above the sternum would be, and pulled the cord out and into XR's port. He takes XR to sit so they can share with ease but he was startled by the incoming thoughts.
[I'm worried about what's gonna happen. What if they might offline me?]
Nos looks at him and feels XR holding his hand.
[Losing the job is the least of my problems, but knowing that creep owns star command, the Commander involved, he could-]
XR stops and looks to Nos.
[I don't want to lose everything. You're my everything- my existence. I don't know how to deal with these new what ifs.]
XR frowns, he feels the second he goes up there, he might get replaced or worse! He didn't want to lose his life he was happy with.

XR looks at Nos.
{I will not let that happen nor will I let that walking Trojan virus cretin hurt you.}
Nos holds his hand in his.
{We will find a way through this. We are a team together and you will not deal with this alone. You supported me by my side, let me do the same.}
Nos held him around the waist and held him.
XR wraps his arms around him and clings to him. "Thanks, I just wish I could just have the reports sent through the postal box. But I would need clearance from the commander."
Nos blinked and had an idea. "I think there is another way."
XR perked and looked at his Boyfriend. "I'm all ears."
"Afterwards but right now," Nos pulls him into a hug. "I want to help calm your system." Nos purrs, nuzzling against his shoulder.
XR could feel his systems really calming down, the sound of the forest was soothing but being in his boyfriend's arms. He's feeling that comfort he needed after all this. "Thanks." XR murmurs and senses Vanet coming so they pull apart a bit and see Vanet.
"Papa! viitor tată, bunicul and I found something cool!" Vanet came running to them and grabbed both their hands. "You need to see it!"
The two bots followed her and saw in the small watering hole area, and there was a whole area of butterflies. XR couldn't help but like this little patch and turned to Nos who was now covered in butterflies. He stifles a chuckle but couldn't help it, it feels like today is perfect. No star command, no evil tyrant or creeps, just a simple and perfect day with his boyfriend and his family.
"Viitor tată!"
XR grins and hurries to them and sees that Vanet wanted a picture with him. He will do whatever it takes to protect his little world and moon. He hurried Over over, taking a picture together and he wraps his arms around Nos and Vanet.
"Viitor tată, I was wondering if you would walk with me tomorrow to town?" Vanet asked. "Since Papa's anniversary of being an agent is coming up, I want to get him a gift."
"Sparks of course! So we're gonna team up again and get a surprise gift?" He grins seeing her nod excitedly. "That's perfect for me but where will you be?" XR asked.
"I wanted to talk to you about that later." Nos spoke but he saw the look of concern.
"Of course." XR knew it was gonna be something that made Nos concerned and he had a good guess it involved Star Command, specifically his pops. "Before the serious talk, how about a little more walking around and heading back to watch movies together."
"Yay! I'll go tell Bunicul!" Vanet hurried off.
Nos stood up and was startled by XR hugging him from behind. "Not yet my love, the talk can wait." He nuzzles against him
XR holds him tightly and sighs. "I trust you in anything you need to do. Just tell me what you need me to do."
"Just enjoy the day tomorrow with Vanet." Nos asked.
"I will be making it a great day tomorrow but I'm guessing you're gonna find a way to go in with me or maybe help me not go to star command?" XR knew Nos wasn't a fool to barge in without a plan, but he didn't like the idea of Nos going in without backup or being without him. 'And I know he's trying to protect me but I can't let him do all of it.' "I might have something that might work for me but you know there's a good chance he is not gonna miss a chance if you're far from Vanet."
"Which is why it is best that she stays with you. We both share the program to keep us hidden. So even if he tried, he would not be able to detect her or you. And we both know if he is in Star Command, he will go after you without hesitation." Nos turns and holds him tightly. "I am terrified of losing you."
"Hey you won't lose me." XR holds him, "You won't lose anyone because we outsmart a centuries old vampire, who by the way, is a real creep. We can outsmart this guy no matter what." He grins.
Nos smiles and feels less worried and holds him. "Let us plan first before we initiate anything, but I do want you to enjoy the day with her." Nos pulls a bit away but keeps his arm around his neck.
XR smiled but then felt his core vibrating again. "I was thinking since it's a romantic moment-"
"Viitor tată! Papa! I found a moth!" Vanet shouted, running to them and holding a wounded mother. "Can we fix it's wing?"
XR was startled to see it's a good foot size moth having weird slimy, looking things coming out from the end like a horror movie monster! "Your department there babe."
Nos looked over to see that the moth was very beautiful but the wing had a good gap. He looks around the flowers till he came back with a few feathers. "I can fix the wing but…." Nos looks to XR.
"Don't tell me, it's gonna be living in the house for a while?" XR knew this was gonna be a while til the moth leaves. 'And we just got that spider family out into the wild.'
"Actually we cannot keep it inside. This moth eats clothes and materials so it will stay outside." Nos was not going to be responsible for finding anything material related destroyed.
"I'm willing to help make a little home for it." XR was very persistent and he didn't want to wake up to it on his face or eating his clothes. "Sorry sparks, it's one thing being a spider, but a large moth can't stay in the house."
"It's ok. Can we still feed him?" She asked.
"Of course." XR pats her head but nearly screams when the moth pounces on his face. "Help!" He muffler out
Several attempts later.
XR was practically 12 feet away from the menace as it lay on Vanet's head as they headed back home, and he didn't want Vanet getting any rashes or anything risky. "I think it's trying to murder me." XR glares, had some weird gunk on his face and clothes.
Nos who was next to him was wiping his face with a handkerchief he had with him. "Well on the plus side, it does not see Vanet as a threat." He can tell XR was still annoyed by the moth. "I do find it odd how it did not attack Vanet."
"Well I think she just has that same mind as you." XR couldn't put a finger on it, but there were some similarities they had between them. Their artistic skills, that sense of wonder. But if he had to think about it more, Vanet just has charm. 'Not to mention she reminds me of that princess surrounded by animals.' And the biggest one in his mindset is Nos, an energy vampire that was so anti-empathetic, protecting her and claiming her as his kid. He grins. "You gotta admit, she's a little princess being protected by the most terrifying and attractive beast."
"What does that make you?" Nos raises a brow, wrapping an arm around his mate's arm.
XR flustered up, he couldn't help but stammer. "Well definitely not prince charming. Maybe a knight?" He kept thinking until He felt his mind cease when Nos kissed his shoulder.
"You are charming." Nos grins and kisses his neck. "You are my prince charming~"
XR was too lost for words and couldn't look at him, his thoughts were going fast as a bullet train. "... You're technically a prince." 'Nos is technically one considering he was made by Zurg.' He then grins, wrapping his arms and nearly dips Nos. "You're my prince, I go and kidnap you from Zurg any day." He smirks and kisses him. He didn't pull him back up yet but when he did, he can literally see Nos sparking up.
"We better get cleaned up before the movie." XR saw Nos has some of the gunk on him now.
"Let's get going." Nos takes his hand and pulls him to the house.
"Of course but to cut time, we can shower together." XR added and was now seeing Nos startled. "I'll behave." 'Can't promise that.' He thought.
Vanet was letting cotton, (being fluffy) crawling up, she sat under the tree and with her Bunicul by the garden, she began to write in the journal her hopefully soon to be dad gifted her.
Dear mommy and daddy,
It's almost going to be a year since everything happened and I hope you know I'm safe and happy. I know it's been a while since we last talked but I want to tell you everything I can.
Firstly, papa has been getting better at cooking but XR, hopefully my soon to be dad, cooks delicious things like mommy. He's a space ranger but he's nicer and he's cool like papa though I wish he doesn't go to star command alot. He isn't right now but he looks sad when he goes… it's like me when I go to school. I like school and I like learning, but the classmates are mean. I have a few friends but they stop hanging out with me after showing them pictures of bugs and papa holding. Probably bugs but-
She stops before writing.
I know it's also papa they don't like but you always told me never give what you have for others. I don't want to leave papa for anything or anyone. If only they see how nice he is and how much he cares about people. I can never replace you dad so I'm happy to have a papa and you. I can't help but think how different he is now than a year ago. Papa looked sad when I first met him but he's not as scary as the pictures you had on your wall. Have you ever met him? I wish you could tell me but maybe it's a good thing you didn't tell me. I got to know papa better and he's different now.
She held onto the charm her papa made for her and continued to write.
He reads me stories and takes me to school and shares dinner with me. I feel bad but I like that I see him when school is over or when he comes home. I missed the days you came to see me before you got sick. I remember the days when you were bedridden after getting diagnosed with the bad virus, I wish there was something I could do.
She stops, wiping the tears away.
I also get to see papa work at his little shop. He's not using a pen name and his name is already cool but I'm amazed papa is also a hero too! He became a secret agent like the spy stories you told me about mommy's old job.
I want to tell you about my soon to be dad. XR is really funny and kind and the opposite of papa. He's a bit goofy when he's trying to make me laugh but really brave! He fought with papa against the evil vampire robot that-
Vanet felt tears roll down her cheeks and tries to wipe them.
…. I'm scared of losing them like I lost you and mommy. I wish things were different. I wished you and mommy were here. I'm sorry, it's all my fault-
She stops and cries before seeing Papa and XR hurry to her side.
"Sparks! You ok!? Did that evil moth hurt you?!" XR was already by her side and picked her up to scan her. "I'll send that moth-!" XR stops when Vanet hugs him and cries. He didn't know what to do but he remembered when he was overwhelmed or tired, he needed just support. The reassurance that everything was ok. He hugs her back and keeps her in his arms.
"Vanet, whatever it is, we're here for you." Nos holds her hand and reassures her.
"That's right sparks. Always here and the thing about us, we're not going anywhere." XR can tell she wasn't bugding away so he keeps her in his arms. "Can you tell us what happened?" He sits on the ground and places her next to him as Nos sat on her other side.
Vanet looks at him before grabbing the journal. She hesitates but shows him what she wrote.
XR reads and smiles before reading the part and looks at her.
"What if you leave or you're gone because something hurt you?" Vanet cries. "I don't want to lose anyone anymore."
XR understands now and looks to Nos. He can see Nos was thinking about the recent incidents. "Hey, I'm not leaving your lives, that is affirmative and nothing won't take me from both of you. Whatever happens in the future, know that I'm still going to be around. Whenever you need me, I'll be there. Call me- heck send an Sos and I'll be flying to you." He smiles but can tell she was still not fully ok. "No one can predict the future, not even a super computer could. But we can make the best of it because we're here now. And you will never lose me or Nos."
"That is correct." Nos pulls her into a hug. "XR and I have gone through many things that could have destroyed us and survived worse. We are your family and we will not just protect you," He feels XR wrap his arms around them. "We will always love you. Even when you are old, you will always be my little bat." He smiles and sees XR grinning.
"And you're always gonna be my lil' sparks. And when I'm Officially your dad, and I will Nosy, I'm going to be your 3rd dad! So I'm all in no matter what."
Vanet couldn't help but smile a bit. "Thank you viitor tată and papa."
"And hey, this is your whole week Kiddo, what do you want to do now?"
"Can we watch movies together?" Vanet asked.
"Definitely yes!" XR grins picking her up. "Plus we can finally watch that funny movie together." He was pretty interested in watching that old classic western movie.
"Which movie is that one?" Nos asked.
"You know which one! It's the one with cowboys!" XR was trying to remember it.
"There are over 32 of them. Until you remember which one, we can watch something else." Nos held Vanet's hand but smirked.
"Now I know you know what I'm talking about!" XR glares but grins. "Can you please tell me the name?"
"What name?" Nos walks with Vanet as XR was only grinning.
As the two playfully bicker, Vanet could not help but smile.
Few movies later,
Nosfer was watching the movie, some like it hot, as the two robots were asleep on the couch together. Vanet was wide awake and was writing in her journal, something different in the the new entry.
Dear mommy and daddy,
This is not my last letter, I will come see you and tell you everything and maybe when I meet you, I may look different too. I miss you both, and I may not know why things happened or what will happen next, but I'm happy where I'm at and I'll be ok no matter what. I hope you look after me and my two dads, they are the best and make you proud.
