Maggie's sigh, heavy with concern, escapes her as she spots Matt and Kim approaching. Their wounded state foretells a challenging day. She raises an eyebrow at them, and they respond with sheepish grins, the tension palpable in the air.

"Sorry, Maggie," Kim tells her, and Matt repeats it with a cheek kiss. Despite the situation, their resilience shines through.

"What happened now?" She questions them. Matt sighs.

"Casey! What just happened?" Kelly Severide's voice is filled with concern and a hint of anger as she sees the rest of 51 coming in.

"Burgess! What was that?" Trudy Platt's demand is sharp and direct, her eyes fixed on the two with unwavering concern.

"The barrier fell, and Eddie and Donovan were caught in the explosion that took it down. Burgess and I were riding Dignuchus and Nothelona when the explosion happened. Chengshen and Shushe protected them," Matt explains, his voice filled with concern for his friends. The barrier had been breached, and their friends were in grave danger. Maggie feels a sharp breath escape her, and she looks at Kim, who nods in agreement.

"Where are Eddie and Donovan now? Where were you two during that time?" Maggie's voice is urgent, her eyes fixed on Matt. Kim reaches out to him for comfort, and her worry for their friends mirrors Maggie's concern.

"Kono and Tony caught them, but they were in the way of the blast. So, who knows what happened? Matt and I were near the ground. We're okay. However, we wanted to ensure you knew what was happening. How are you doing?" Burgess asks her. She looks around.

"Busy. I'll have someone call around for updates on Eddie and Donovan. I need you two to be careful. Do we know who else is down?" Maggie asks, and both shake their heads negatively.

"Be careful and keep us updated if you learn anything," Maggie tells her friends, her concern evident in her voice. Matt and Kim nod understanding before leaving after Maggie has cleared them all.

"Maggie?" She hears Stella question her. Maggie waved her off and went off on her duties. During that time, Kono, on Kubimïtuti, lands and sees S.W.A.T. coming her way. She's holding an unconscious Donovan Rocker in her arms. Two men go towards her and gently take him out of her arms.

"Contact Maggie Lockwood from Chicago Med and tell her that you have Rocker," Kono tells them. She sees another man gently cradling Donovan.

"Maggie Lockwood?" A woman questions her. Kono nods her yes. The woman smiles.

"Fowler, go get on Rocker, Cabrera, contact Maggie Lockwood. Luca, can you carry him inside?" The woman tells the others. Kono smiles.

"Erika Rogers?" She questions her. She tilts her head to the side. Kono smiles.

"It's nice to meet you. Donovan is out of commission; you're taking over for him. If you take Donovan's phone, you'll find a group chat. Get those numbers," Kono tells her. Erika grimaces at the thought, causing Kono to sigh.

"You'll be okay, we got you," Kono promises her, her voice reassuring. Erika smiles at her.

"Thank you," she tells her. Kono on Kubimïtuti takes off. Kono sees Murasakinajoō and Yasashiihime flying in circles. Kubimïtuti goes to her sisters.

"どうしたんですか、姉妹たち？"Kubimïtuti growls at her sisters. Murasakinajoō and Yasashiihime greet their sister with worry. Kono sees what's wrong.

(What's wrong, sisters?)

"Eddie! Tony!" Kono calls out. Kubimïtuti, Murasakinajoō, and Yasashiihime see Shushe and the two men unconscious.

"Take me down, please," Kono tells her. The three dragons and Kono go to their friends. Kono rushes towards the men while the sisters go to the other dragon. Murasakinajoō and Yasashiihime get Shushe on top of them and look at Murasakinajoō, and Murasakinajoō looks at Kono. The human smiles softly at them.

"Go. Get her help," She tells them, and the four leave.

"EDDIE!" A man yells. Kono sees a man running towards them. Behind him is a group of people.

"TONY!" Kono sees Steve Rogers and the Avengers coming as well. The man who called out Eddie's name started to cradle Eddie. She knows who this is.

"Evan Buckley?" she asks him. He looks at her worriedly. She smiles gently at him. She sees Steve cradling Tony. Four paramedics go to each person.

"Has anyone found Donovan and Eddie?" Matt asks the group. Kono knows that Matt is the captain that he is.

"Sorry! I have Donovan with S.W.A.T., and I just found Eddie and Tony. Tony must've been hit on the way down. Both of their people are with them now," Kono tells them.

"I got a call from Alexis Cabrera confirming that S.W.A.T. has him, and Kono dropped him off," Maggie tells the group, relief evident in her voice.

"How is everyone else?" Kim asks the group. Everyone gives them goods, okays, fines, and unaffected.

"Kono?" She hears her cousin's voice. She goes to him for a hug. She needed one right now.

"I got you, Kono. I got you," Chin comforts her. She sees the paramedics taking her friends to the hospital.

"Dragons are real?" Chin asks her, and she laughs.

"All mythology is real. There was a barrier between us, but it broke. We're trying to ensure everyone is safe," Kono tells him.

"How can I help?" Chin questions her. She smiles.

"Do what you've always been doing, cus," Kono tells him.

"Donovan and Eddie are in stable condition. They'll survive," Maggie tells them.

Everyone sighs in relief. A couple of days later, Kono, Matt, Kim, and Maggie are at the hospital. They see Donovan with a man next to him and Eddie with two other men on each side of him.

"How are you two doing?" Matt asks them. Both of them sigh, causing the four to laugh.

"How are you four?" Donovan asks. The man's comforting hand is on his arm. Kono and Kim smile at them. Maggie goes and checks on them. Neither man protested at the mothering that Maggie was doing.

"Better now. Everyone is trying to figure out what to do next. Rogers is a blessing to have. Thank you for choosing her. May is also fantastic to have. We're glad that you two are alright," Kim tells them. Eddie smiles at them. He has a head on one of the men he's with. No one is going to address the elephant in the room. Donovan huffs.

"This is Tommy. He's my twin and Eddie's platonic partner. We're identical," Donovan huffs out. Everyone smiles, and Tommy reaches out an arm to him. The four leave, and Tony comes in. He's with Steve and Bucky. Both supersoldiers refuse to leave him alone.

"How are you two doing?" He asks, and Donovan laughs.

"Don," The man next to him gently tells him. Tony smiles.

"No, it's alright. He told me so," Tony tells him. Eddie giggles, causing Tony to grin. Bucky and Steve smile at how Tony is with the two injured men. Tony kisses both of them and leaves.

"Sons?" Bucky asks, and Tony sighs.

"Family," Tony says, and Steve holds him close.
