Reviews from previous chapter:

Ulrich362:

First things first in regards to the questions, fair enough on that Yuri, I just was wondering if you felt you could utilize those other decks as well as your Predaplants, then again why mess with what works? As for Dan, fair enough... I'm not sure if you'll encounter all the upgraded dragons but who knows what the future will bring?

As far as this chapter is concerned though, that initial encounter with Shay and Yuto will definitely lead to some complications in the near future and Yoko considering adopting Dan is very sweet... He's already so close to her and Yuya and it would really be a positive for all three of them. As for Dan being challenged, well technically Nico doesn't have to find Dan an opponent so that will at least help a bit, and I feel like I recognize his opponent's name but I can't place it. Also good point, Dan never did hear the chant... huh, you'd think he'd have heard it at least once at You Show but who knows? I guess they had other things on their mind? In regards to Zuzu and Sora's comments on Dan not using his Fusion Deck, that definitely does make sense, he lost with Synchro and Xyz so working to improve them makes sense... though he shouldn't ignore his Fusion cards since they could always improve too. Yup, that's the expected reaction from Ricardo revealing his Pendulum Cards... though to be fair, Pendulum is strong but not unbeatable and if Declan is watching and sees Dan win this duel it'll show some of the potential weaknesses in Pendulum Summonning, before their enemies find them instead. Still, the Solfachord cards are definitely versatile and proved to give Dan quite the challenge with their effects. Sora's reactions are definitely amazing though and he's right there's a lot more to Dan than meets the eye, though I have a feeling Zuzu's going to be even more confused now than before since Shay called her Lulu and she's recognizing monsters she should have no knowledge of and yet finds them familiar. Wait a second, Declan didn't give Ricardo his deck... then who did? There shouldn't be anyone else who knows about Pendulum Summoning right? What's going on here? That said next up is going to be Aura's turn to show her talents? Well... mostly, she kind of has to lose for plot but she can give Yuya a really intense duel with her Ritual specialty. Amazing chapter, looking forward to the update.

Okay here are the questions:

Questions 1 & 2 from Ulrich362:

(To Dan)

As for a question... Well I guess the obvious one would be for Dan and it's if he has any Pendulum Archetypes he'd want to try, either custom made or from any other characters from stories you've seen?

Dan: Nothing really pops to mind.

(To Shay & Yuto)

As for a secondary question, actually it's for Shay and Yuto but well... assuming you've been through the Number conflict, why do you have so much trouble differentiating between a duelist being bad and a mechanic? I assume you wouldn't trust Number 96 or Don Thousand despite them both using Xyz Summoning right? Not to mention Kite can Fusion Summon himself... just curious.

Yuto: It's Shay that often has trouble with that, but yeah we had assumed we are in the Fusion Dimension from finding Leo Students having the same pin that we found to find Duel Academy, and some used Fusion so it's easy to mistake they are not like the Fusionites. That match against Sylvio had me learn that.

Shay: As Yuto said just now, I am often having trouble on it. I just wanted to find Lulu whatever it takes so I make rash decisions on it.

Question 3 from StardustLive5:

(To Zuzu)

If you face Richardo, you good at singing right?

Zuzu: I'm... not sure if I am.

And we are here onto a true addition of Ascension of the Dragons. The duel between Yuya, and Aura in the Pendulum Arc, something I should've placed into the original. Well good time to place it in now. As I spoke of before, I love Aura, and wished she been given more screen time instead of being pushed aside both as a girl, and as a Ritual User. If you had red my rant in the Ritual Arc over how badly Ritual had been treated through all these years, then you know how much I care for it. Go Rush even gave it some love in a different way by making the monsters be in the Extra Deck which didn't really sit right with me, but eh at least it's there. Well no more stalling time to see this match here!

Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! as a whole but I own any OCs! ENJOY!

Date: 2/6/25

Earlier in a dark room...

Within a room while Dan's duel with Ricardo is happening, someone was in a room full of candles, books, a mirror, some plants but most important cards of the Tarot Deck on a table with a hooded person sitting in a chair. This person looked to be shuffling the Deck probably used to Fortune-Tell her way today. See, she is a student of a Duel School focused over Fortune Telling as the theme, and from how she is shuffling trying to predict how her duel will go as although she was qualified for the Arc-League, her school's Principal had asked her to duel someone who is trying to qualify which she accepted thinking it won't be much of a challenge.

Right now she is gonna see what kind of duel she will have here which is why she is shuffling her deck to predict what will happen here. "Hmm... everyone is trying to qualify for the Arc-League just scurrying around like rats trying to find the duel they need to be a step closer. I don't need to worry however... not only am I already qualified, I will also be over-qualified by winning this next duel. And-" She moved, taking the card flipping it over to reveal Arcana Force VI - The Lovers. She gasped from this shock at what she got.

See, Fortune Tellers predict how things will go with Tarot Cards over the Arcana, and figure predictions on how the cards are placed in two different positions, Rightside Up which is positive, or Rightside Down which is negative as it becomes reversed. There are lots of different Arcana, and things over, and by placing them in a different set of moves they can predict someone's future, or other things. For Aura's case her first card will reveal to her what the cards say, and by taking the Lovers which happens to be the Duel Monster version of Tarot - Lovers she gets a daydream of it.

A daydream of some handsome guy chuckling to her before she lets out a large nosebleed which made her drop off her chair, snapping her out of it. She slowly rose up her hood off showing she has puffy red hair, a large purple bowtie, and bright-green eyes. Her nose is still running blood from her nosebleed from her daydream. She had a lovey-dovey grin on her face with a large blush before she clasped her hands together swaying. "Meeting my soulmate? Oh, what a dream this is to be reality!"

Well it had to be as this was not only an important duel for her, it's also one for her opponent as well who is running a little late.

(Cue Theme: Can You Feel The Power)

Hey! Hey!
Can you Feel the Power!?
You vs. me competition for the victory, (Wull!)
I could be the best one day and make history. (Go!)
Swing into action, are you ready to play? (Go!)
Challenge anyone, anywhere (Go!), any day. (Come On!)

You wanna take a chance? Go ahead and roll the dice. (Ok!)
See if it's in your cards, if you'll pay the price. (Wull!)
Activate the Spell, let your powers come to life. (Go!)
It's showtime, who will win the fight? (Wow!)

I'm ready to duel, go ahead and make your move.
(Go! Go! Go! Go!)

I'll win this duel,
You can't beat my moves.
I'm in that groove,
I know I can't lose.
Your turn, your tricks,
Now what will you choose?
Can you feel the power!?

I'll win this duel,
You can't beat my moves.
I'm in that groove,
I know I can't lose.
Your turn, your tricks,
Now what will you choose?

Can you feel the power!?

After quickly eating breakfast, and running out after telling Dan he can't head for Sora's duel, Yuya was running by himself in the city with only an address card handed to him. He can't qualify for the Arc-League if he doesn't arrive on time, and hopes he can make it. Overall bad first impression, he wants to be the best Dueltainer like his father, and being late isn't a good way to go about it. He had been looking for the Duel School from the address that Nico had given him for about a few minutes now, and isn't going right. He doesn't want to get lost so he keeps sticking close, and asking directions.

He turned a corner checking over a sign that had the address he was looking for. "Okay, at the address so where-" He stopped when he saw the Duel School palling.

It looked like an old Victorian Haunted House. Candles at the window, crows flying around, there is even a slight fog around. Yuya approached the gate a little intimidated looking around, and seeing a sign saying Fortune Prep. He takes a look at the address card, yes this is the address, and the Duel School in mind... but is this really a Duel School, the place looks deserted. And besides, he doesn't like spooky things. So with a reluctant sigh he spoke over. "Well... this is the place I guess... at least it can't get scarier."

"Welcome, my boy."

He who tempts fate may suffer by its hand.

Apparently Yuya did just that when Nico appeared in a large robe with only a lantern that he screamed a bit while turning over. Seeing who it was he sweat-dropped seeing how Nico is dressed up. Well guess it can get scarier by how this is looking. At the very least, it lets Yuya know he's at the right place. "Uh, Nico?"

"I've been waiting." Nico turned over ominously, opening the gate, and guiding Yuya inside who gulped following the Quirky Duel Manager.

Looking around Yuya can see they are going down some stairs. The guys in charge of this school should've paid for their light bill, it looks like, he can barely see a thing only thanks to Nico's lantern. Well at least Sora, and Zuzu should already be here with Dan alongside Tate, Allie, and Frederick, he could use their support right around now. Suddenly a notification was heard on his Duel Disk that he checked, and sees that Zuzu sent a text that they will be a bit later due to Dan being challenged by a student of Melodic Opera suddenly as his next duel.

Well Tate, Allie, and Frederick being there will still be better then no-one. Although he couldn't help but wonder why someone would challenge Dan. After all, the Duel School that they went to was the location of Sora's last duel, so it wouldn't make sense why they are interested in Dan. Perhaps, they can sense he has good dueling abilities or something, he isn't sure. Maybe after this match, he can see how Dan's duel is going. He couldn't help feeling he will miss something amazing in that match. Like the opponent using Pendulum? Tch, yeah right.

In said Duel, Ricardo is overwhelming Dan later with various Solfachord Pendulum Monsters with really strong effects as if proving Yuya wrong.

"Careful, the steps are... treacherous."

"Don't worry, I'll be care-FUUUULLLL!" On one step, Yuya, a bit distracted from how ominous, and spooky Nico was sounding missed a step, and starts falling down the stairs harshly down towards the dueling field.

At said Dueling Field was a large area almost like a magician's stage with rows of cloaked people like students or staff of the Duel School. Among them were Tate, Allie, and Frederick. After being messaged the address by Yoko, and Skip, they had headed over ahead of time, and met up with Nico to watch the duel alongside them. Zuzu had already informed them, she, Sora, and Dan will arrive later due to both Sora's duel, and the sudden Duel Challenge that Dan had received. They are saddened by this but they swear to support Yuya to the best of their ability, and are now waiting for him.

Meanwhile on the duel field was the girl herself holding a Crystal Apple in her hands. In place of her cloak, she is wearing a purple flowing dress with a white long-sleeved blouse underneath alongside a pink bow around the collar, and a coin shaped pendant alongside brown sandals, and white socks. She is swaying around more than a little excited. This girl's real name is Aura Sentia, one of the best students of Fortune Prep, and someone who is 'desperate for love' as people would call it. She always gets jealous of people being in love, and wants to have a boyfriend of her own one day. Now the duel today is a chance for her to have one herself, and she is daydreaming really excited at the thought of it coming true.

"Oh, this is giving me the tingles! In just a minute, I will finally lay my eyes on my soulmate! Oooooh!" With her nose spurting a little blood, she starts to daydream over what kind of man it will be. Maybe a teen idol person, or a really muscular strong kind of guy, or even sometimes a nerd with a large heart of gold? Oh she can't wait when she will finally lay her eyes on him! Don't torture her any further like this fate, she's ready to meet him! "Oh soulmate, I am ready for you! Come, and get me!"

Suddenly hearing a shout, everyone turned over confused seeing a green, and white blur rolling down the stairs, and landing harshly on the duel field several times flipping over before landing in front of Aura groaning. It was Yuya, who had Xs in his eyes, raising his head up. "Oh... that wasn't careful..." He starts to raise his gaze up to see-

Why is he seeing pink?

Hearing a scream he looked up further seeing a horrified Aura's face staring at him frozen with an embarrassed blush on her cheeks. Quickly realizing what had happened, Yuya's face turned a little blue staring at her with a real nervous smile. Yup, he looked up in her skirt.

The three kids watching had dull looks while Tate just blinked sheepishly, smiling himself chuckling a little. They all know Yuya didn't mean to do that. But damn, that was so not the best impression to be made here having Yuya be a peeper. Suddenly the thought of Zuzu not being here is a good thing, as if she had seen this, she would whack Yuya probably a million times with her paper fan. Also just glad that Dan, and Sora didn't see this themselves, they would not think highly of Yuya about it.

"Horrible first impression." You're correct on that Allie.

Aura, herself trembled, and once she managed to regain herself looked understandably angry. If someone tried that, there would be hell to pay. "You... You... You..." A flaming background appeared behind her as she raised her crystal apple above her head. "YOU LUCKY PERVERT!"

WHACK!

Yuya had a steaming bloodied large bump on his head groaning while Aura walked away a few feet grumbling to herself real angry that someone like him was her soulmate, and this is how they first met. This can't really be her soulmate, he's too dorky, and he tried looking up her skirt! But then she paused looking at her Crystal Apple wiping away some of the blood on it as that last thought had her thinking. She has never been wrong in her predictions before. Deciding the right direction, solving math problems, even checking the weather. They never failed before so why should they stop now?

"Uh, excuse me?"

"I'M THINKING HERE, WHAT IS IT!?" Aura shouted towards Yuya, still pretty mad at what happened.

"I-I'm really sorry about that." Yuya spoke, apologizing towards her. "But uh, can we duel now?"

Clearing her throat Aura looked over to him, and pointed a finger to him. "Very well. I suppose a duel will be the best way for me to find out if you really are my soulmate!"

"Your what?"

Suddenly a spotlight appeared where Nico is at the center of the Duel Field in between Yuya, and Aura. Pulling off his cloak he grinned over to start the match. "Now everyone, the duel between Dueltainer Extraordinaire, Yuya Sakaki, and flawless Fortune Teller, and prodigious predictress Aura Sentia is about to begin! But first a few words from the mystical seer of Fortune Prep, Madame Divina!"

The spotlight shone onto a young woman wearing a purple cloak with a purple veil on her face alongside pink eyeshadow, and wearing a purple, and yellow robe had her arms crossed with closed eyes as she began speaking. "Our destiny exists for us to follow or not, and even if we can't visualize it, our lives travel down the path of time. Fortune Telling is like a moth to a flame for us, it guides us. Whether we follow it or not is a choice we make, that always remains with us." She turned over using a finger to activate a card on the field. "This mystical match shall be played within the Fortuneterror!"

Fortunterror

Action Field Spell

You can use Action Cards, but you can only have 1 Action Card in your hand.

"Augmented Reality Combat System Energized. Generating Action Field." The computer starts generating the field which is revealed to be a large area that is a Fortune Teller themed area with a velvet blue color with transparent glass staircases alongside some balls floating around alongside a large chandelier held up by rows of chains. There are also some carvings onto the pillars holding everything.

"What are those things on the pillars?" Seeing the carvings Frederick brought up he had never seen them before.

"They are the Tarot Card pictures of Major Arcana. The Fool, the Chariot, the Magician, the Emperor, the Priestess, and the Death. Major Arcana shows the kind of people we are in Fortune Telling, and how it affects our everyday lives." Tate explained what they are, and then some.

"Oh this is so magical!" Allie feels like she's looking at a Fairy Take from how this field is looking.

"We're dueling here?"

"Of course!" Yuya turned towards Aura who was grinning over him. "My Fortune Telling abilities are never wrong. And with them I will truly learn, if you're really destined to be my soulmate."

"Wait, hang on, why are you-"

"Duelists locked in battle!"

Yuya grunted from being interrupted at this again but continued on with the chant. "Kicking the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters!"

"They storm through this field!"

"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" Madam Divina spoke to add on to this.

"ACTION DUEL!"

(Dueling Theme: Wake Me Up Inside by Evanescence)

Yuya: 4000

Hand: 5

Field: Nothing

Aura: 4000

Hand: 5

Field: Nothing

Let the duel commence!

"Now then as this Duel School is your turf, you go on first."

"Well actually, let us see your ability to predict." Yuya blinks as Aura takes out a coin with a small smile showing both sides of a dragon, and a demon. "Dragon on one side, and demon on the other." She flips the coin in the air as it lands on her hand which she covers looking over towards her opponent. "Now guess which one it is, and we can see who goes first."

Oh a guessing game on coin tosses? Those always had 50/50 chances of having the right result, and he isn't good at that. Now she's having him guess what coin side she has now to decide who goes first? Ah man, he has better luck solving minimal problems on tests. "Uh well uh... the demon, no! The dragon!"

"Final answer?"

When she gets a nod, Aura checks the coin before she grinned over. "Sorry Yuya, it's the demon." Yuya groaned over this while Aura chuckled over. "I knew it, not in the slightest way to predict anything!"

"I-I mean, I would get it if you give me another guess!" Figuring the result on luck based things or getting things on dice rolls are already difficult if you aren't the one deciding it so Yuya is feeling stumped that had to distract him on this match here to decide who goes first.

Aura 1st Turn:

"Well now it's my turn!" Aura jumped onto one of the floating balls readying as she checked over her hand. One card in her hand is a blue monster card, a type of monster that was never used all that often. She is one of the few people within this Dimension who uses this type of summoning, and like so few people, she believes in the potential that they can share. People often trash it, as the conditions for it are either too taxing, or take too much time to do. But with the way she supplied her Deck, it should be easy peasey, lemon squeezy!

However she can't do it quite yet, so she checks over her other options. Seeing one, she takes a card. "To start, I set one monster in Defense Position!" She places down a card as it appears horizontally on her field accompanied by some creature appearing over it. It was something of a purple glowing orb with red eyes having some type of black vines like in a vase over her set card.

"She set a monster?"

"It's a viable strategy." Tate explains towards Frederick. There are numerous advantages, and benefits that come from setting a monster, so if she's doing that she probably is planning some type of trap. "By setting a monster we don't know what Yuya is facing, and it can be a really strong monster, or something that has a powerful effect that activates in circumstances."

"That means this duel is more mysterious then before...!" Allie spoke as she saw the monster on the field against Yuya.

Yuya himself grunted from this gulping. A set monster on the field can mean lots of things... burn, cannot be destroyed, switcheroo, he isn't sure what Aura has in store, which makes things here difficult. But he won't quit here, he will win this duel, and beat whatever she has in mind here.

"And with that, I end my turn Yuya." Aura spoke ending her turn simply with a set monster. Not much she has done, she is probably saving her best when she is able to attack, so this set monster is probably there for Defense. No face-downs which is a good thing, so Yuya needs something to do against her set monster.

Aura's Hand: 4/Field: One Set Monster

Yuya 1st Turn:

"Okay, it's my turn, I draw!" Yuya drew over ready to start his turn. He checks over his hand. No Pendulum Scale... However, it looks like he can do some stuff, thankfully. "Okay, I summon, Performapal Skullcrobat Joker!"

Appearing on his field was what seemed like a black suited clown with black, and pink vertical lined baggy pants. He also has black socks that are red, and white polka dot patterned with black, and pink jester shoes on his form. He has several things like baubles of different shapes hanging on his suit with the inside being green with white polka dots with a bright green bowtie. He also has long blonde hair with a sleeping mask of closed eyes on his face, and a large pink top hat switched together with a face on it.

DARK

Level 4

Pendulum Scale: 8

Spellcaster/Effect/Pendulum

ATK: 1800

DEF: 100

Pendulum Effect: You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except "Performapal" monsters, "Magician" Pendulum Monsters, and "Odd-Eyes" monsters. This effect cannot be negated.

Monster Effect: When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 "Performapal" monster, "Magician" Pendulum Monster, or "Odd-Eyes" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Performapal Skullcrobat Joker".

"When this card is summoned, I can take a Performapal, Magician, or Odd-Eyes from my Deck to my hand." Yuya searches over his Deck, and upon finding Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon he adds it to his hand. This duel wouldn't be the same if he didn't have his partner with him the entire time. He, and Odd-Eyes went through a lot together as partners ever since he was a baby, so it wouldn't be right if it wasn't with him at the entire duel. With that done he looked over pointing ahead. "Now Skullcrobat Joker attacks Aura's monster!"

Skullcrobat Joker laughed as it jumped up, and moved down to land a kick as Aura's face-down monster was revealed. It was a woman but she was really long, curled around in a large pale green dress the same length as herself while she has long green hair also the same length alongside a bang in front of her with a feather in her hair as well. In her hand was nothing special, just a simple bow.

(Defense Position)

Prediction Princess Arrowsylph

WIND

Level 4

Fairy/Effect/Flip

ATK: 1000

DEF: 1400

FLIP: You can add 1 Ritual Spell from your Deck or GY to your hand.

"1400 points... that's a bit weaker than I expected." Yuya admitted as Skullcrobat Joker's kick landed home destroying Aura's monster.

"I wouldn't be that quick to judge Yuya, even since you just activated her ability." Aura winked over grinning which alarmed Yuya. What did he activate? As if answering his mind, Aura's Deck ejects a card that she takes revealing it's a spell to Yuya. But not just any spell... "When Arrowsylph is flipped, I can take a Ritual Spell from my Deck, and add it to my hand."

Yuya widens his eyes from the reveal of two things. A Flip Effect Deck? Those things are always tricky to get straight as they have numerous effects, and other things that can help the player. They require to be Set in Defense Position when summoning them, and when flipped either cause of an attack, or cause they are flipped either from an effect, or from their player Flip Summoning them, there effects can activate which can be anything either traps, support, or hinder.

But the thing that really caught his attention was the card Aura added. "A Ritual Spell?" He, of course, was no stranger to Ritual Summoning, hell, pretty much every Duelist around the world knows about Ritual Summoning. He hasn't seen people use it often due to the immense resources they demand, or how much time it will take to gather the necessary cards, it makes people not want to bother with it. About as taxing as Fusion but unlike that, you also need the monster you plan to summon in your hand as well, which makes it more difficult to use correctly. So seeing Aura using Ritual herself is surprising, as he thought that no-one here in Paradise City uses it.

"Yes indeed."

"Ritual Spell?" Unlike Yuya, and the others, Allie has little knowledge about it. She does know about it, and heard about it from time to time, but she doesn't know a lot about it.

"It's a type of spell for a summoning where you summon a monster from your hand by sacrificing monsters from your field or hand, and sometimes banishing them from the graveyard that are equal or higher in Level then the type of monster you plan to summon." Tate explains to Allie what he knows about Ritual Summoning, and like Yuya was surprised that Aura uses it. "No-one uses it as it calls for too many resources to use, or the amount of time it takes to use one."

Yuya checks over his hand. If Aura really does have Ritual Summoning then he'd better be careful. It's the only summon method he hasn't encountered yet, and if she's skilled, or able to use it so well, then he needs to keep his guard up. It's already tough enough, that he has to deal with a Flip Effect Deck, but Ritual Summoning as well?

Taking a couple of cards he sets them on the field. "I place 2 cards down, and end my turn!" He then turned running up the stairs to find an Action Card. Might as well grab one so that he can be ready for what Ritual Monster she plays to use.

Yuya's Hand: 3/Field: Performapal Skullcrobat Joker (Attack Position), Two Set Cards

Yuya: 4000

Hand: 3

Field: Performapal Skullcrobat Joker (Attack Position), Two Set Cards

Aura: 4000

Aura 2nd Turn:

"My turn again, Yuya, I draw!" Aura drew checking over. She grinned to herself. With this kind of hand she has quite the advantage. So she takes her selected Ritual Spell activating it. "To start off, Yuya, is the Ritual Spell, I added, Prediction Ritual!" The Ritual Spell shows an altar with summoning circles around it while a coffin is on the altar surrounded by orange, and blue flames.

Prediction Ritual

Ritual Spell Card

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Prediction Princess Tarotrei". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 9 or more. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Prediction Princess" monster from your Deck to your hand.

"I sacrifice monsters to Level 9 or more to summon a priestess who is able to foretell every possibility in this duel!" Aura raised her arms while the large altar rose up in front of her as a monster from her hand, a monster seeming to resemble an older Aura was sacrificed going into the coffin as it opened.

"Priestess of ancient times who foresees everything! With the ancient description, now, be revived! Ritual Summon! Level 9! Prediction Princess Tarotrei!"

From the coffin something materialized which was a large woman in a giant purple robe. She has a golden centerpiece on her chest area with golden armbands on her main arms. Connecting to her main body was a device that holds 2 arms on both sides of them and is wearing a large hood that has a golden crown on it while she has red eyes as well alongside a mask. She also has cards floating, and moving at the bottom of her dress moving in a 8 formation.

Prediction Princess Tarotrei

LIGHT

Level 9

Fairy/Effect/Ritual

ATK: 2700

DEF: 1200

You can Ritual Summon this card with "Prediction Ritual". Once per turn, during your End Phase: You can Special Summon 1 Flip monster from your hand or GY in face-down Defense Position. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Prediction Princess Tarotrei" per turn, and only once that turn.
● (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-down monster on the field; change it to face-up Attack Position.
● (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; change it to face-down Defense Position.

"So... that's a Ritual Monster." Having now seeing a Ritual Summon close hand, and seeing the monster it summoned, fills Yuya with anxiety. He doesn't know what this kind of card can do, and knows it's a powerful one as well. 2700 ATK, and a Level 9 as well... This could get ugly.

"Now I activate the effect of the monster, I sacrificed! Prediction Princess Bibliomuse!"

"Huh?" Yuya blinked as some type of monster appeared on the field.

It was the older version of Aura, they've seen her sacrificed earlier. She has orange hair long, and puffy like hers alongside wearing a suit that is like her dress alongside a small robe on it with the inside being orange with having gloves that are connected to her middle finger while also being fingerless, and having on big lens glasses with butterfly wings attached to them. In her hand was a purple book that has some eyes on it, yellow eyes to be exact.

Level 9

Fairy/Effect

ATK: 2500

DEF: 2500

FLIP: You can add 1 "Prediction Princess" monster, except "Prediction Princess Bibliomuse", and 1 Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand.
If this card is Tributed and sent to the GY: You can Special Summon this card in face-down Defense Position.
You can only use each of the preceding effects of "Prediction Princess Bibliomuse" once per turn. Your opponent cannot target Ritual Monsters you control with card effects, also they cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects.

The monster appeared before vanishing into a set card on Aura's field that has the same creature appearing like before with Arrowsylph. Yuya grunted over this. So she can recycle her monsters as well, which can be difficult if she can bring back powerful monsters like this. Not even the worst of it, is what he is feeling. Aura is quick to prove it by showing a spell. "Next Yuya, is a Continuous Spell! Sunset Beat!" A spell which shows an island beach with palm trees, and a sunset in the distance appeared on the field.

(face-up)

Sunset Beat

Continuous Spell Card

If a face-up monster you control is changed to face-down Defense Position: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it. If a Flip monster(s) you control is flipped face-up, even during the Damage Step: You can target 1 of them; inflict damage to your opponent equal to its Level x 200. You can only use each effect of "Sunset Beat" once per turn.

"And with it, I activate Tarotrei's ability! During either of our turns, she can flip a monster on the field face-up or face-down! So now, Bilbomuse comes out, and plays!" Tarotrei meditated as the limbs connected to her body disconnected, moving over, taking Bilbomuse's card, and flipped it over to face-up where she appeared beside Tarotrei.

Prediction Princess Bilbomuse: (Attack Position)

"Now Bilbomuse's effect activates but first, Sunset Beat's own effect activates!" Her Continuous Spell shows itself on the field while she spoke to Yuya. "Whenever a Flip Monster is flipped even during battle, this spell deals you 200 points of damage for each Level the monster that's flipped had! So since Bilbomuse is Level 9, you take 1800 points of damage!" Yuya widened his eyes as the spell blasted over at Yuya as he yelled out landing on the ground nearby. (Yuya: 2200/Hand: 3)

"1800 damage when she hasn't even attacked yet?" Frederick's eyes were widened quite a bit from this, that she can change her flip tactics to devastating damage. If this keeps up, Yuya won't be able to last long.

"Due to Bilbomuse's flip effect, I take a Ritual Spell, and a Prediction Princess to my hand." Aura searches her Deck, and adds her selected cards. "And now battle!" Yuya quickly gets up to find an Action Card moving over when he sees one. "Now Yuya let us predict a fortune courtesy of Tarotrei." Tarotrei meditated as the cards on her cloak moved in front of her shuffling themselves around before one stopped, and revealed itself which was The Lovers Arcana Tarot Card revealed but it's rightside-down. "The Lovers in the downward position. It means making choices that define who we are, such as everyday lives. However, it's upside down which means the wrong choice will befall before you this turn."

"Uh, what is she talking about?" As a novice of the whole Tarot, or Arcana aspect, Allie doesn't exactly get what Aura is speaking about.

Thankfully Tate, knowing of this himself, took this time to explain more. "In Tarot Readings, there are two positions for each Major Arcana Tarot card. Rightside up, usually means the way things happen for us in life as they define who we are exactly. But when they're upside-down, it is reversed which means it does the opposite of what the Arcana Represents, which is a bad thing." At least, he thinks that's how it happens. He played the Persona games, so he thinks that's how it works through the whole 'Social Links' Deal.

"Now Tarotrei attacks Skullcrobat Joker!" Tarotrei charged an attack over as Yuya jumped up finding 2 Action Cards which he looked over trying to find what to pick. "You can only have 1 Action Card at a time Yuya."

Which one? He doesn't know what to pick as they are both face-down. Maybe he takes the right? Wait no, Aura's monster had predicted he would make the wrong choice this turn, so maybe he should take the left? No that isn't right either, that could be the wrong one. He agonized which card to pick as Tarotrei finished charging her attack. Noticing this, he looked over before ultimately deciding. "Uh, right!" He takes it, flipping it to see what it was. "Okay, I got-!" Yuya paled when he saw the card which is a purple bloom with kanji words on it of an omikuji. "Uh, Lousy Luck?"

Lousy Luck

Action Trap Card

You take 800 damage.

The audience can't decide what was more funny; either the way that the trap struck Yuya, or the way he said his words as if saying HE has lousy luck. (Yuya: 1600/Hand: 3)

"As I said to you before, you make the wrong choice this turn, so it would mean your luck is lousy." Aura followed suit by taunting Yuya as Tarotrei's attack uninterrupted struck all over Skullcrobat Joker which destroyed him while Yuya braced himself from the shockwave. (Yuya: 0700/Hand: 3) "And now Bilbomuse grant this poor unfortunate soul some peace!" Bilbomuse charged a spell firing it towards Yuya.

But Yuya this time has some defense. "I activate the effect of Performapal Kuribohble in my hand!" He quickly smacked a card on the field as something appeared in front of him. "Kuri kuri kuri!" Pretty much like it's cries, and appearance it was a Kuriboh, a brown one like the original but this one has large green eyes while wearing a bat that's white, and green striped with a yellow ball on it, and some type of tail the same design as its hat.

When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, change the attack target to this card, and proceed to damage calculation. If you would take battle damage from that battle, you gain that much LP instead.

"Huh?" Aura blinked from this surprise.

"Whenever a monster attacks me directly, I can summon this card from my hand to take the attack instead!" Yuya watched as Bilbomuse's spell struck Kuribohble which it yelled out destroyed. That was before an aura enveloped Yuya as he grinned over. "But instead of taking damage thanks to that, I regain Life Points to that damage!" (Yuya: 2900/Hand: 2)

Okay Aura, will admit he had her right there. But still her prediction of the wrong choice being made was correct, and that was enough for her. As long as Tarotrei is on her field, she will succeed in what she will do. So she checks over her hand, taking the monster she added, and sets it to her field. "Okay then Yuya, I place 1 monster face-down on my field. Then I place 1 card face-down." She sets a card in her Spell & Trap before then raising an arm. "Then I activate Tarotrei's other ability! She places 1 Flip Effect monster from my Deck or Hand to my field face-down!"

"What?" Another problem is that Aura can search out any Flip Monster she wants to use to her advantage. Which means things will be more difficult the longer this goes on.

"And I set Prediction Princess Tarotreith from my Deck to the field!" She sets the card as it is revealed to be a monster similar to Tarotrei.

Unlike Tarotrei that has gold decorations, Tarotreith has silver decorations with a different designed crown, and bone arms. She has the same limbs as Tarotrei connected to her body, and has a purple/blue robe on. Her cloak of cards shows a pattern unlike Tarotrei's 8 pattern.

"Huh, wait a second was that a Ritual Monster you just set?" Yuya having seen the card when it was being placed knows something is that, Aura summoned a Ritual Monster, not a Flip Monster (at least to him) so that shouldn't have happened as to summon a Ritual Monster, you need a Ritual Spell card.

"Yes, indeed. Tarotreith doesn't follow the same criteria on summoning like Tarotrei." Aura was happy to explain. "See, Tarotreith can be summoned either by Ritual Summoned by or being summoned by the effect of Tarotrei. But here's the kicker, she is also a Flip Monster!"

"What!?" A Ritual Monster that's also a Flip Effect Monster? Is that even a thing? Apparently so from Aura summoning that card to her field. Now he has TWO Ritual Monsters on the field to deal with, and one of them is also a Flip Effect monster to do whatever it wants when it flips up.

"I end my turn, Yuya, it's your move." Aura smiled over with a hand on her chin waiting for him to make a move. With the way her field is set up, this will be difficult for Yuya.

Yuya 2nd Turn:

But no matter how difficult it gets, Yuya will head in, and duel with all he has. In order to become the Dueltainer he wants to be, and reach his father on it, he needs to prevail against this obstacle. So he readied drawing. "Okay, it's my turn, I draw!" Checking over he sees he has the card he needs which he grinned moving, and activating the card. "And I activate, Pendulum Call!" The spell has Dragonpulse, and Dragonpit Magicians on the field seeming to be doing some sorcery.

Pendulum Call

Normal Spell Card

Discard 1 card; add 2 "Magician" Pendulum Monsters with different names from your Deck to your hand, also, until the end of your opponent's next turn after this card resolves, "Magician" cards in your Pendulum Zones cannot be destroyed by card effects. You can only activate 1 "Pendulum Call" per turn. You cannot activate this card if you activated a "Magician" monster's Pendulum Effect this turn.

"So I discard 1 card to add 2 Magicians to my hand!" Yuya sends one of his selected cards to the graveyard, reaching to add his cards.

"Gonna have to stop you there for a second Yuya!" Said boy blinked towards Aura as she raised an arm. "I activate Tarotrei's special ability! So now one monster on the field is flipped face-up, or face-down! And I picked the card I set last round! Prediction Princess Tarotreith!" The hands from Tarotrei moved, grabbing the card of Tarotreith, and flipped it to Attack Position showing herself.

Prediction Princess Tarotreith: (Attack Position)

Yuya grunted as the chain resolves which he takes 2 cards, the usual Stargazer, and Timegazer Magicians to his hand adding them to his hand bracing himself for what's coming ahead. Aura makes her move once that's over. "Then Sunset Beat's effect activates! But first, we do the effect of Tarotreith! When she is Flipped, she summons a Flip Effect monster from my Deck to my field face-down! Prediction Princess Astromorrigan for example!"

Some sort of doll monster appeared on the field that has a small sword, and shield with a black smile that has red teeth, and white eyes as it's right eye while it's left has a crescent moon with the same smile while having a gold tiara with a red jewel with purple hair in two braids while wearing a dark purple like pink dress that has a silver armored torso. Yuya quickly takes the card checking it, and grinned. "Okay! I activate the Action Spell, Acceleration!" A colorful picture of a man running at high speeds was shown on the card.

Acceleration

When a card or effect is activated that would inflict damage to you: Make that effect damage to you 0.

"So the damage from Sunset Beat's effect is zero!" Yuya dodged the effect which saved him from a ton of damage again.

Aura frowned from this but nodded, raising an arm. "Very well, then see what Tarotrei would predict for you this turn!" Like before Tarotrei's cards on her robes moved, flying, and shuffling themselves into the air. The shuffled themselves towards the air as they watched over before a card was revealed, the Tarot card for the Chariot this time upright. "Oh, the Chariot within the upright position. Your willpower, and drive for moving forward is the act of prevailing to take charge of your life for your ambition."

"Sounds good to me!" Glad that he has a good prediction this turn he readies his Pendulum Magicians. "And I will start that charge by activating Scale 1 Stargazer Magician, and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum Scale! I'm taking control of this Duel starting now!" He places the cards down as two magicians rise up in front of him, the first monsters used to Pendulum Summon.

Stargazer Magician who is a young man with blonde hair is wearing a white robe with a mask the same color with a dark blue cape on with darker blue armor on complete with blue orbs around its body. In its hand was some type of staff that's round, and white with golden fittings.

Target 1 face-up monster on the field; that target gains 1000 ATK until the end of this turn.

"So thanks to this, Odd-Eyes gains 1000 attack points until the end of this turn!" Powered up from the spell, Odd-Eyes roared loud as it quickly gained power.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: (ATK: 2500 + 1000 = 3500)

"Yeah!" all three of the kids cheered seeing this. With Odd-Eyes' 3500 ATK, it can attack Tarotreith, and with its special ability can deal 4400 points of damage all at once to beat Aura! And next, she can't use Spell or Trap Cards against this as Yuya's Magicians forbid her from activating any of those cards when a Pendulum Monster battles so he's at a clear road.

"And now battle! Odd-Eyes get set to strike, and attack Prediction Princess Tarotreith!" Odd-Eyes roared charging up a large blast towards the weaker Ritual Monster. "And due to the Pendulum Abilities of Stargazer Magician, you cannot activate Spell Cards during battle! Timegazer Magician also forbids you from using Trap Cards either!" A tight lock appeared on Aura's set card that she stares at while Odd-Eyes finished charging. "Now Odd-Eyes, Spiral Flame Strike!"

"I don't think so!" Aura waved an arm to Taroreith. "I activate Princess Tarotreith's special ability!" They all looked shocked as Tarotreith's extra limbs disconnected from her body moving towards her set monsters. "I may not be allowed to use Spells or Traps but I can do Monster Effects! Tarotreith allows me to set, or flip any monster I want from my field either all at once, or one at a time! And I pick to flip my two set monsters face-up! Prediction Princesses Petalelf, and Astromorrigan!"

The disconnected arms flipped the set monsters revealing Astromorrigan, and one other monster. This new monster shows itself as a flower themed girl with petals all around her alongside a blooming flower as her dress, long white gloves, and a blue veil on her face.

"I can only use the effect of Sunset Beat to inflict damage once per turn." She isn't able to deal anymore damage again but this still looks suspicious.

"Why did she do that, she's giving Odd-Eyes more targets to attack." Allie spoke up confused on what Aura is planning. The better choice would be to flip down all of her monsters so that she can avoid taking a lot of damage, so why would Aura do something like this? But Tate realized something, she must be doing that to trigger her monster's flip effects! That must be it!

"And now I activate the Flip Effects of Astromorrigan, and Petalelf!" Aura spoke as Petalelf charged energy as Odd-Eyes that was about to blast his attack suddenly cancelled it forcing itself down to Defense with Skullcrobat Joker joining with a lot of struggle.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: (Defense Position/Cannot change Battle Position)

Performapal Skullcrobat Joker: (Defense Position/Cannot change Battle Position)

"Huh!? What happened!?" One moment Odd-Eyes was charging a large attack to end the duel in one attack, and the next it was suddenly forced to change Battle Position against it's will which canceled the attack.

"It's Petalelf's ability. When she's flipped all monsters on your field are switched to Defense Position, and cannot change back." Aura spoke with a grin while she explained this while Yuya looked shocked. She then gestured towards Astromorrigan. "But that's not the worst part, well for you, that is, during the End Phase as Astromorrigan was flipped, all monsters you have in Defense Position will be destroyed, and you take 500 points of damage for each monster destroyed by this effect."

So not only does she force her opponent's monsters to take a knee whenever they try attacking, but also destroys them while dealing damage at the same time during battle with the ability of Tarotreith? So in exchange for not being really strong in terms of ATK, it's powerful in terms of its effects. Meanwhile Tarotrei is a beatstick with 2700 ATK, and can deal with any attackers or set her combos up by setting either her own, or her opponent's monsters while also inflicting a large amount of damage with either Astromorrigan, or Sunset Beat. No wonder, she was already qualified for the Arc-League, she manages to stop attacks, and overwhelm her opponents with all of that.

Which means now Yuya is on the cloak. If he can't deal with this combo, and find a way to retaliate then he can't reach closer to his dream. No other choice he ended his battle, and looked around. Odd-Eyes, and Skullcrobat Joker are in defense but will be destroyed at the end of the turn. Stargazer, and Timegazer both are in his Pendulum Zones preventing Aura from using Spell or Traps when a Pendulum Monster battles but as it stands she didn't need to worry as long as Tarotreith, Petalelf, and Astromorrigan are on the field to deal with her opponent's monsters.

So left with no other choice he grunted over. "I... end my turn."

"Which means Astromorrigan's effect applies, and both your monsters are destroyed!" Odd-Eyes, and Skullcrobat Joker were enveloped in energy from Aura's declaration, and shattered which made Yuya shout out landing nearby. (Yuya: 1900/Hand: 0) Now he's left without a monster, and there are five monsters ready to start attacking him. He better find an Action Card, and fast which is what he's moving to do now.

Aura 3rd Turn:

"My turn now, I draw!" Aura checked her drawn card. She silently adds it to her hand before raising an arm. "And now Tarotrei let us see Yuya's fortune for this turn!" Tarotrei heeding her duelist's command shuffles Tarot Cards like the other times while they watch, and Yuya pays attention while he moves to find an Action Card. The cards shuffled before it then stopped on the Tarot Card for the Tower Arcana in Rightside-Up. Aura widens her eyes when she sees it before she frowns over. "The Tower in Upright. It speaks of a disaster, a sudden disruption that tells of tragedy. Which means this turn, a tragedy will befall before you Yuya!"

"Like, I'm gonna listen to that!" Yuya spoke moving over towards the large chandelier unaware that one of the chains was breaking apart.

The three kids from You Show looked over at each other hearing that prediction. A tragedy will befall before Yuya this turn? That doesn't sound good. What tragedy exactly is talking about? Hopefully nothing too bad...

"Don't be a fool, Yuya, a tragedy in this turn will cost you, your life! And it must be prevented!" Focused on rescuing Yuya, she pointed over. "Prediction Princess Tarotrei! Attack Yuya directly!" Tarotrei charges a blast aiming straight at Yuya who keeps moving before she blasts it at him.

Yuya quickly activated one of his set cards. "I activate, Performapal Pinch Helper!" A continuous trap that shows of, Performapal Cheermole on the card appeared looking like she's being attacked.

Aura frowned from this. She has another monster that can handle this kind of threat, and she needs to do it soon. "Alright Bildomuse attack Inflater Tapir!" Bilbomuse charges in at Inflater Tapir as Yuya jumped onto the chandelier running over towards an Action Card he is seeing. The chain starts breaking more, the more he is moving on the chandelier, and he starts reaching for the Action Card.

"Action Card!"

SNAP!

The chain suddenly snapped which Yuya yelped as he was thrown off balance by the sudden shift from the chandelier falling down to the field screaming all the way. The destruction of the entire chandelier falling down had Aura yelling as it collapsed all around the field while Tate, Allie, and Frederick screamed, staring in horror at the destruction that was happening. It can't be... THIS is the tragedy that Aura had foretold? The entire chandelier came crashing down, and buried Yuya within it?

The smoke cleared showing the entire chandelier was in ruins. But it wasn't long before after a few seconds Yuya burst out of the stone which relieved everyone while Aura was shocked. An Action Spell was in front of Yuya revealing itself to be, Miracle.

Miracle

Action Spell Card

If a monster on the field battles: Target that monster; it cannot be destroyed by that battle, also any battle damage is halved.

"So Infalter Tapir wasn't destroyed."

Did this really happen in Aura's eyes? Yuya ignored all the obstacles, and the danger, had faced the tragedy that Tarotrei had foretold this turn, and had survived through a miracle. Madame Divina has also expressed wonder seeing Yuya had opened a path to a future previously closed. Tate, Frederick, and Allie were relieved that Yuya had survived, and no harsh injuries were made today. And with Inflater Tapir survived Bilbomuse's attack, he is still in the duel.

Which although Aura was glad Yuya had survived won't let him win. "Okay, Yuya, you had braved through the danger but you still won't win! I activate Tarotreith's special ability! I set Petalelf, Astromorrigan, and Tarotreith herself for good measure back face-down!" At that three mentioned monsters moved lowering down to being set on her field.

"Sorry Aura, but due to Pendulum Call's effect on my last turn, Magicians in my Pendulum Zones can't be destroyed!" A barrier blocked Sunset Beat's effect from destroying Stargazer Magician which saved his Pendulum Scale for this turn. Seeing this Aura checks over her hand which is not only from her added spell with Bilbomuse earlier, Underworld Ritual of Prediction but also A Feint Plan, and Hidden Spellbook. Her facedown is Reverse Reuse which sets 2 Flip Monsters from her graveyard to Yuya's field. Come his next turn, she will win this.

"Okay Yuya, I'll end my turn for now." Aura looked over towards Yuya confident. With how her field is, Yuya can't do anything to stop her here.

Yuya 3rd Turn:

It all comes down to this... this last draw will decide this match. Yuya's ready, and he will carry on! If he doesn't find a way to get past Aura's combo he will never be the Dueltainer that his father was. So he readied the drawing as a rainbow sparkle effect carried over. Checking the card he froze.

It was Polymerization, Zuzu's card.

How'd this card get in his Deck? He never recalled adding it in, nor can he recall seeing it before the Duel. Then he paused, realizing something. Of course, when he overslept, he had quickly gathered his Deck, and accidentally added Polymerization to it. But he has no Fusion Monsters, so this card is something he can't use. Why, for such an important duel, why did he have to get a card he's unable to use? The thought crossed his mind for almost 10 seconds before suddenly he senses something.

In his mind he is seeing a silhouette of a large dragon in front of him. He widened his eyes seeing it. "Who... are you?" The dragon growled in response before it revealed to him something above, what looks like a Fusion Summoning happening as he watches. When he sees he's back on the field he looks back towards the Polymerization in his hand. Could that be...? Then grinning he ran up the ruins of the destroyed chandelier before he spread his arms. "Now ladies, and gentlemen!" Tate, Allie, and Frederick smiled a bit while Aura blinked seeing Yuya was getting through his Dueltaining act after he looked defeated for a moment. "All the performers are in there places! With Scale 1 Stargazer Magician, and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, I can Pendulum Summon once more! Pendulum Summon! Come back my monster!" A light shot out revealing Odd-Eyes roaring loud having been revived.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: (Attack Position)

"Let us welcome back the star performer from the Extra Deck, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"

"Yuya's putting on a show!" Allie smiled brightly seeing this glad Yuya is still going on with this, and seeing this performance.

"Yeah but..."

Tate's worries were answered when Aura raised an arm. "That won't matter Yuya! Watch as Tarotrei flips Tarotreith back to the field!" Tarotret's arms moved, flipping her Flip Ritual Monster back to the field.

Prediction Princess Tarotreith: (Attack Position)

"And the effect of Sunset Beat activates dealing you damage equal to Tarrotreith's Level! Level 9 so you take 1800 points of damage!" The spell fired a blast as Yuya stared tanking the attack head on without trouble. (Yuya: 0100/Hand: 1)

"Oh no!" The three cried in horror seeing this. And he still has Petalelf, and Astromorrigan to deal with.

Yuya doesn't look worried though as he grinned to Aura who blinked. "I activate the effect of Performapal Odd-Eyes Butler in my graveyard! By destroying an Odd-Eyes or Performapal on my field, I can summon it back!" Inflatir Tapir shattered before raising up was a new monster. The duel with Ricardo made them mess up their time schedule but now they made it time to see the end to the duel, and thankfully they didn't miss the end. Sora, seeing this, spoke towards them. "Looks like we made it!"

"And now..." Yuya takes his drawn card, raising it up that Zuzu gasps recognizing the card. "I activate the spell card, Polymerization!" The name of the card shocked everyone, especially Nico.

Polymerization

Normal Spell Card

Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as material.

"What's this!?"

"Yuya's Fusion Summoning!?"

"He's using my card!?"

"No way!"

Odd-Eyes Butler, and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon both rose up as Yuya raised his Duel Disk up which the two stood side by side before moving closer to each other forming into one.

"Butler with dichromatic eyes, become the bright light and dwell in the eyes of the dragon! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Arcane dragon wielder of ancient magic! Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"

A large circle ornament appeared before something that seemed to be a part of it. It was Odd-Eyes but in a new different form. This form is larger, and more powerful, and has another one of the circle ornaments like the one on its back with 3 divots on each point. Its right eye seems to be covered by some magic device, and flaw claws on its hands, and feet roaring onto the field.

Everyone was staring at the move in shock. Since when can Yuya Fusion Summon? And where'd he get that monster at? Nico had expected for Yuya to have something surprising up his sleeve but... he didn't think of anything like this! And that Yuya not only worked Pendulum but also used Fusion Summoning with it too! Well he will admit, Yuya definitely completed his task to shock, and astound him.

"3000 points!" Aura also gasped seeing the dragon. But she isn't willing to let Yuya win so she readied her defense. "Not bad Yuya but we follow Tarrotreith's own ability!" Tarrotreith's extra limbs floated over flipping over Petalelf, and Astromorrigan's cards back to Attack Position making them appear back.

Prediction Princess Petalelf: (Attack Position)

Prediction Princess Astromorrigan: (Attack Position)

"And with Petalelf, and Astromorrigan flipped, their effects activate! Petalelf forces your dragon to Defense Position, and at the end of the turn, it's destroyed, and you take 500 points of damage afterward!"

"Oh no, Yuya's toast!" Frederick spoke worriedly as Petalelf worked her magic on Rune-Eyes. But they all noticed that no matter how hard Petalelf is trying, Rune-Eyes is holding fast, and isn't changing Battle Position.

Aura looked shocked as Petalelf gave him breathing a bit from using too much magic from trying to change Rune-Eyes' Battle Position while Astromorrigan went to her carefully. "It isn't changing!?"

"When Rune-Eyes is summoned using a Pendulum Summoned monster, any effects you try on it will be useless this turn!" Aura grunted from this. Okay her combo won't work here this time but with 3000 attack points, it's not enough to deplete Aura's 4000. So she will survive this turn, and finish this. "And also Aura," she blinked as Yuya grinned over towards her. "as Rune-Eyes was summoned using a Spellcaster that's Level 5 or higher, it can attack 3 times in this one battle!" Aura stared in shock hearing that as Rune-Eyes charged an attack as it formed a triangler orb that connected with the divots on its back as Yuya jumped onto Rune-Eyes. He looked at Aura with a smile which she blinked owlishly feeling something in her heart. "Here I come. Rune-Eyes attacks Tarotrei, Tarrotreith, and Petalelf! Triple Spiral Skyshot!"

Rune-Eyes charged its attacks from its back before blasting three concentrated blasts over towards the three monsters. Last thing Aura saw before getting blasted was Yuya winking at her. Seeing this Aura grew a large blush before her nose erupted with a nosebleed launched off her platform onto the ground.

Yuya wins!

Yuya landed on the field sighing with a smile while Fortuneterror vanished as the kids ran over excited that Yuya Pendulum Summoned using a Pendulum Monster wondering how he managed to do that excitedly calling it Pendulum Fusion. Sora, Zuzu, and Dan headed over themselves where the former smiled at him. "Yuya, that was totally awesome! You pulled up a perfect Fusion Summon without me teaching you!"

"I got lucky, I guess..." Yuya revealed that he had managed to summon Rune-Eyes out of luck here. Turning to Zuzu he digs in his graveyard taking out the Polymerization, and hands it to her. "Here Zuzu, I slipped this in my Deck by accident when you left it behind."

"Thanks." Zuzu smiled, taking her card, having been worried when she saw it was gone, but glad that Yuya had it safe and sound, and now back in her hands. It's what she needs to duel Julia back at the championship, and without it, she'll be at a disadvantage.

"Yuya, that was really cool." Dan spoke towards him smiling. "When I first Fusion Summoned it wasn't as cool as yours was." Yuya looked over to him. "If we duel each other in the Championship, then I am eager to duel against you."

"Well, I'll not hold back my Pendulum Power, that's a promise." Yuya spoke with a grin. Then he looked towards the three with a raised eyebrow. "So then you three, why were you held back? Why did someone from the Duel School, Sora was dueling at want to duel Dan?"

"Well, Ricardo the duelist who dueled me had-"

"OH THERE'S MY SOULMATE!" Startled, they turned over seeing a lovey-dovey expression, and a bleeding nose on Aura's face as she jumped through the air. Yuya flinched as Aura tackled him down to the ground, nuzzling her face into an uncomfortable Yuya's. Sora, Tate, Allie, and Frederick looked afraid so suddenly which Dan blinked over not getting it as he looked over them wondering why they looked so scared. "I just knew it, I knew my prediction would come true! You truly are my soulmate through, and through!"

"Yuya... why is your opponent calling you her soulmate?" Freezing when he heard the really calm but scary tone in Zuzu's voice, Dan slowly turned over with sweat on his head seeing Zuzu's eyes are shadowed, and holding a paper fan in her hand threateningly. Seeing it he froze, palling, and feeling his heart beating really fast. Okay, they're afraid because Zuzu looked REALLY angry.

And so is Yuya as evident by his tone while trying to speak from Aura nuzzling into him. "I don't know! I don't know what she's talking about!" He is also giving a look towards Aura to stop before they are executed by Zuzu's fan.

"Oh darling, don't be shy!" Aura didn't get the message unfortunately, just nuzzling herself more onto Yuya's face. "You know what I mean, I predicted this duel will bring me, my soulmate! You!" Feeling a chill in the air, the three kids, Dan, and Sora slowly turned over seeing Zuzu now has a purple menacing aura on her form as if her anger has been made real by energy.

"YYYYUUUUYYYYAAAA!"

"Zuzu, I swear, I-!"

Madame Divina raises up staring ahead as Aura, and Zuzu argue as the latter chases Yuya (and Aura who refuses to let go) with her paper fan. Seeing this interaction she softly smiled knowing that the kind of destiny for them is the kind that can await them. Raising her crystal ball she tried looking into it but her eyes widened when it glowed purple, and broke apart in half by itself while Zuzu is chasing them shouting while Aura is also shouting at her. She stared at them as Zuzu finally caught onto them starting to barrage Yuya's head with her paper fan forming lots of lumps in quick succession while Aura is telling him to meet her parents, and where the wedding will be held as Sora, the kids, and Dan stare in the distance looking afraid for their lives.

They learned at that moment: NEVER make Zuzu angry.

Alright, that duel is done now! That came along faster, then I had thought, and now we have the first real new addition from the original story onto the remastered version here. After seeing Date of Fate, I had regretted not showing that duel but now that's done for real now. I love Aura, and she will be a major character which isn't a secret as she was in the original. And she also had new support a while back as you all had seen so it wasn't just Tarotrei she had.

Next chapter we be back on Dan's own duels where he will be against a duelist fixated on Board Games. Now Board Game Decks are hard to find but thanks to support to one card Joey uses, it became possible. We will see what Dan will do against that duelist here pretty soon but while that happens Julia, Kit, and Dipper happen to find the culprit, and try to stop him themselves. Be sure to ask questions, and be sure to review!
