To Dan and Ray, fair enough and of course Ray wouldn't do all the dueling, but if it turns out she can duel that would be fun. Also to Declan thanks for answering, I have a feeling Riley would be really happy to hear that.
As far as this chapter... yeah Declan don't try and play dumb with Zuzu... I get you're trying to see what she knows but honestly... she already knows that something is going on. Yeah, it makes sense Declan would have anticipated this but he obviously can't have Zuzu running around revealing everything and a duel makes the most sense... though it looks like Riley is more attentive than Henrietta, after seeing Declan duel Dan it wouldn't make sense for Zuzu to challenge him without something up her sleeve. Zuzu definitely started off well, bringing out monsters Declan didn't expect and unleashing her first Fusion Monster together with Tamtam for some damage, not enough to win but definitely a start that caught his eye which is impressive enough on its own. As for Declan... yup that's what I expected... Oracle King d'Arc is going to be extremely useful in combination with his Dark Contracts, and 2800 attack points isn't bad either, definitely the ideal first monster for him to bring out especially if he wants to test Zuzu in this duel. Or not? Well I wasn't expecting him to go into Deus Machinex like that... it makes me wonder just what he's planning now. Oh right, that would explain it, his Dark Contract with Entities card... a Pendulum Xyz Monster gives him two beneficial effects and let him clear her field... though Zuzu counters by revealing her own ability to use Pendulum Cards and bringing out a powerful Fusion Monster. (Oh, minor aside I believe the card is actually called Flowering Etoile the Melodious Magnificat but that might have been a very recent change). As for her combo, she did a decent amount of damage but Declan is no slouch and Contract Laundering was a precaution he would have put just in case... Declan is a remarkable duelist and won't underestimate his opponent no matter who it is. She came close but now Declan has a chance to turn things around. Well, Zuzu tried to stop Declan's plays but he seemed to be one step ahead of her the entire time... though Bloom Diva is strong, it's not enough on its own to beat Declan. Just like I thought, as powerful as Bloom Diva is she was vulnerable to being banished and with Deus Machinex back in play this duel is as good as done. Wait huh... hold on that... Did that just happen? I mean it makes sense and Score is super useful but still... she won? How... that's... I mean yeah Declan has a lot more powerful cards than he used but still... that's insane! Though yeah I can see why Zuzu would start to put the pieces together and with Declan revealing everything it all fits into place... as much as I'm sure she'll want to tell everyone it makes sense that she needs to keep it secret for now to avoid mass panic but it might change her own actions moving forward... Duel Academy, Leo Akaba, Shay and Yuto, the Lancers, it's like a perfect puzzle... almost too perfect. And inviting Riley to watch the duels with You Show? A bit surprised Henrietta didn't have Riley stay with her but after seeing Declan lose I guess it slipped her mind? Though it'll certainly give the young Akaba a chance to talk with her crush... Zuzu and Allie get to play matchmaker then? Sounds good, and next up is Allie vs Riley with them both having new tricks? That should be very fun, amazing chapter, and surprising one too. Looking forward to the next one.

1. Declan: After that duel how many Lancer candidates are you considering at this point, in all honesty I'm thinking Zuzu might have already been on your radar but that duel confirmed she joined the potential ranks?
Declan: Quite a bit to think over other side from Shay, Yuto, and any other obvious choices. And yes Zuzu is on my list of figuring out who can be in the Lancers she managed to defeat me despite me using Deus Machinex.
2. Hector: A bit curious but mind if I ask about your relationship with your three, or now four, fellow members of the LID Quintet? Ritual isn't as popular a method but in the right hands it can be extremely powerful so here's saying best of luck for you in your duels.
Hector: Well me, Dipper, and Kit really have a lot together. I always find Dipper to arrogant, and his snarky attitude gets annoying sometimes but I had hope that he can stop it at some point. Kit, himself he's not as arrogant but he does get too confident at times like when he challenged Dan after seeing that match against Declan. Julia... you probably already guessed I have a crush on her... been ever since I came onto the LID Quintet, and I been seeking to impress her. Sylvio... that should be obvious shouldn't it? I wonder what Pendulum Deck he has that made Declan place him in our team. So a little rough around the edges but we do work well.
and 3. Leo Akaba, the Professor himself: Do you at all blame yourself for what happened? And not ignoring the stockholders who didn't let you shut down your Arc-System that led to the tragedy of the Original Dimension? Or do you feel it's all Zarc's fault?
Leo Akaba: It's not just Zarc, or the stockholders, me, and everyone else was to blame for what had happened. I had thought that the Arc-System would bring Duelist, and Duel Monsters together but it lead to where Zarc followed the demands of the crowd. I can't erase my past mistakes but I can do what I must to stop Zarc, and right all the wrongs I had committed in the past. So yes, I do blame myself for this.

How did you get stronger? No duelist will able to defeat Declen!
Zuzu: It's not really all that hard to figure out. Thanks to my new Pendulum cards, and Fusion Monsters, I managed to work an advantage against Declan. Although, I think I'm lucky though, Score was really a lucky draw I had when he had summoned Deus Machinex again, and tried using D/D/D Headhunt.
First off sorry the summary last chapter didn't really shows the duel between Riley, and Allie, I thought that I haven't made any mention of it happening last chapter yet. But now that be fixed with this where we can see the two against each other again. Like you seen before, this version of Allie will be using Synchro Summoning but will also use custom Aquaactress cards as well. I am trying to use TCG cards only but custom cards to help archetypes, custom archetypes, or what I think are good to have are permitted. So let's see how different this duel between them will turn out!
Summary: Zuzu, and Riley had found Frederick's duel had been live while Zuzu was dueling Declan, and seen his ending move against his opponent. But they noticed that Dan looked a bit jealous since he had no parents while Frederick's had been supporting him through the Duel. They assured him that even without parents he will has a home, and friends to be with him. It wasn't long before it was Allie's turn to duel, and it was against Riley who uses a powerful Deck that Dan recognizes, and knows this will be one of Allie's most difficult duels to have. On the other hand with a new card from Dan, Allie can give just as much fight like Riley does, so the duel beneath the sea is beginning!

Right now Zuzu, and Riley are together with Zuzu holding Riley's hand as they try finding You Show for them to watch the duels together, and also Riley to get into her own duel. She wonders what exactly Declan's little brother has in his own Deck, but is willing to wait until the duel between Riley, and Allie begins. So they are looking together before noticing a crowd, and walk together eventually finding a duel happening which they see is the first duel You Show is doing where it is Frederick, and his opponent, a SuperDuelist named Trevor.

Frederick has an orange paper like dinosaur shaped like a stegosaurus as a kid's drawing with it being cut out with white borders on it alongside being nothing but white at the other side with red spines on it's back.

On his opponent, Trevor's, field was a small Superhero like costumed monster that's orange/red with a white suit alongside several deck boxes hanging off it's belt with patterns of flames on its head, and and white cape alongside a black visor almost resembling the Red Ranger from the Power Ranger series.

Right now Trevor, who is a small boy with a bed-made superhero costume on with a red cape, a shirt that says HERO on it, and a belt with blue jeans has the advantage in Life Points, and monsters with his monster Red Mask have more ATK. Noticing You Show was nearby they walked over as Zuzu called. "Hey guys!"
After Zuzu had left, they all decided to wait while watching Frederick's duel. Dan, and Ray watched seeing the abilities of Frederick who is competing in the Junior Youth Division like Dan is, and they have to admit his Deck is interesting. A Deck based on Doodles, and Dinosaurs certainly is a really interesting Deck especially for kids as it really makes its 'drawings come to life' in the literal sense. Although Dan can feel his potential is not yet explored as if it's used like Rex Raptor, or Tyranno Hassleberry he could very easily become a powerful Dino Duelist. Maybe he, and Ray should think about what cards they can supply Frederick with.
On the other hand his opponent Trevor, his Power Ranger like monsters, and battle related effects are somewhat interesting although Dan can sense that Trevor is not really all that interesting as background characters tend to disappear when they outlived their usefulness, and he had watched, and seen enough duels to see that. Although not killed outright like some, he wished they were giving more attention. And no offense to Trevor but there are only 2 Duelists who are worthy of using Superhero Themed Decks, Jaden Yuki, and Aster Phoenix.
Suddenly when they hear Zuzu's call, they turn over, and are glad that Zuzu looks alright now although surprised that Allie's opponent is with her. They wondered why exactly she ran off, but hoped that she would be careful. Now it looks like she's okay now, and she has someone with her, wondering what exactly is up.
They arrived together as Zuzu asked over worried. "Did we miss the duel?"
"No, you just happened to catch the middle of it." Yuya spoke over smiling before frowning. "But Zuzu, why'd you run off like that? Was there something wrong?"
Although every instinct is telling her to say the truth, Zuzu knew she had a promise to keep for now. When the time is right, like Declan said, is when she will explain all she had learned to You Show, and everyone. So she said what is true for now. "I went to Declan to see what exactly was up with Kit, Julia, and Dipper. He told me not to worry, they're okay now. Riley's match is next after Frederick's so I offered him to come with me so they can have their match after Frederick's."
Seeing Riley, Dan smiled over towards her while Riley blushed, turning away. Dan blinked over while Ray stared, and grew a grin. She already figured out that Riley is a new sister of hers after Dan, and she bumped into the hallway a while back, and was surprised at the addition of a sister as well, figuring her father must've moved on from her. And seeing how Riley is acting around Dan, she already figured that Riley probably has a crush on Dan, and is readying a lot of teasing to Dan when the time is right, let Dan figure it out on his own before than first.
"Frederick, Papa's proud of you."
"Mama, too!"
"Come on, win it for the SuperDuelists!"
"Go, Trevor!"
Hearing all of the cheering from both duelist's parents towards their kids just dueling right now made Dan turn over seeing the support they are each giving them. He softly clenched his hands, and made an expression before he looked down that Tate, Riley, and Allie noticed all together due to noticing as they are the same height together. Ray however noticed as well, and she frowned over. Dan had already informed her of the world he was from, and what his life was like.
Her heart ached when she heard how selfless he was, yet was lonely elsewhere... Dan had nothing in his life before, no parents, no close friends, no nothing, all he had was working for his planet's community, and all of what he can earn to make a living for himself while his foster family didn't care for him. How could they ignore a boy as sweet as Dan is, and even take him in if they aren't gonna care for him? Frankly, the thought of not having any parents is something no child should ever go through, even someone like Dan has his moment's of weaknesses when he lacks a real family, that other people had so she can sense that he's jealous of other people having happy families, and he was lonely for one his whole life. She hopes that can change pretty soon, if she had a physical form she'd adopt him in a heartbeat but that would be awkward as she's a spirit right now, and her sister has a crush on him.
"All right, Red Mask, fly at Doodle Beast - Stego and take it out!" Hearing the command Red Mask charges in towards Stego intending to destroy it, and win the duel for its master.
"That's Trevor's most powerful masked monster." Commented by Joy who is watching nearby.
"Schtop right zere! I have a trap zat can make your attack go kerplunk." Frederick however had a counter with a grin as a trap was flipped where it shows a blank white book of a drawing of a troll being stopped by a child from approaching a door. "It's called Doodlebook - Uh uh uh!"

The trap sprouted hands forming a barrier that stopped Red Mask's attack from reaching Stego as he flew back. While his parents cheered from this, Trevor looked troubled since that attack declaration was stopped which meant Frederick still has a chance to turn this around, and he can't do anything against it. "You've thwarted me for now, villain."
Frederick ? Turn:
"Und now I'll shnap you like an uncooked noodle!" When Frederick drew he grinned seeing the card he had drawn. "Perfect. By Tributing a Doodle Beast like Stego, I can zen summon another of mein handcrafted monstermeisters. It's zah most destructive dino in mein deck. Hahaha!" As the beast vanished Frederick jumped up from the bounce, and while Joy commented that it adds more bounce to keep it safe for children Frederick landed on the head of his newly summoned monster. "Now face zee terror of mein Tyranno!"
Said Tyranno was a large T-Rex like doodled dinosaur with blue spike spines on its back down to its tail with yellow eyes, and teeth. Alongside what looked like its tongue, or strangely fire breath that's dark red as it roared.

A Dinosaur that can be Tribute Summoned by using 1 Dinosaur as a Tribute in of itself, isn't really all that impressive as several other Dinosaurs possess the same effect (at least he thinks as he had seen Sauropod Brachion's card), although Dan can definitely tell that this one is nothing like those Dinosaurs. Besides 2400 ATK is a niche piece of ATK to have on the field as a good beat stick but it needs to have something other than that to make it worth using.
"Tyranno, use your special ability! Tyranno automatically makes your monster go kaput." From that Tyranno turned smacking its tail onto Red Mask, clearing Trevor's field easily, and leaving him open for an attack. "After zat, Tyranno gets half of that monster's Attack Points und can have a powerfest."

Powerfest indeed, looks like Dan might've underestimated this kind of Dinosaur... if it can destroy a monster, and gain power at the same time, it turns it into a really powerful monster to battle against. So it looks like that it does have something that does make it worth using. Not saying the card is useless or anything, Dan isn't saying that, he is only figuring that it needs strong abilities to make it worth summoning despite being slightly easier to summon from it being summoned with only 1 monster.
"Okay, Tyranno, attack Trevor with Dino Destruction!"
Tyranno roared charging in, and collided with Trevor as he had a bouncy landing nearby with a groan losing. "My super powers failed..."

"And that does it for Trevor. You Show's Frederick has won the first duel."
"Victory!" Frederick jumped up excited that he had won the first duel for You Show Duel School while the screen of his portrait appeared behind him signifying it. His parents approached congratulating him for a duel well done, and so proud of him while Dan watches this his heart gets more aching the more he watches before he turns away.

"Dan? What's the matter?"
Blinking Dan turned, seeing Tate, Riley, and Allie all looked concerned while the older duelists, and adults were congratulating Frederick. Not to worry them Dan smiled gently to assure them he's fine. "I'm okay guys, don't worry about it."
"You looked a little upset for a while there."
Dan looked down hearing Tate saying that. So they had noticed. "Well as I explained before I don't have any parents, and I don't remember them. So when I see other parents having fun with their kids I get a little jealous. I'm sorry for worrying you... I just... wish I can know where they are, or why they left me all alone like they did."
Tate, and Allie frowned at that while Riley stared over concerned for Dan. It was understandable since Dan doesn't have any parents, and can tell he needs them for his growth. Although he does have foster care before he came to Paradise City they didn't care about him, and told him he has to manage for himself which isn't right for a kid his age. Kids like Dan deserve to have fun, enjoy the childhood in their lives, make some friends, and everything else a kid should do, but he is working to support himself when foster care refuses to take care of him.
"Well we're here with you all the way." Tate takes his shoulder as he says this which Dan nodded before they noticed everyone else is walking over to them.
"What are you guys talking about?"
"Dan's not feeling all that happy, seeing Frederick's parents cheering him on is upsetting him." Allie answered Yuya's question before Dan can respond to downplay it.
Dan didn't want to see the looks crossing their faces, pity. He doesn't need pity, he doesn't want-no, need anyone pitying or worrying about him. He's okay... well maybe not after admitting that he grows jealous of happy families, but hoped that they wouldn't bring it up.
"Oh Dan, you can just talk with us if it's really upsetting."
"It's not really any of your business..." Dan trailed off with a frown looking down from Yuya saying this to him.
Suddenly he gasps when she feels a hand take his chin raising up where he sees Zuzu had kneeled in front of him pulling his face where he is looking at her face which looks a bit stern. Not angry, like he had seen her against Aura, but enough to show she is serious about this. Dan only stared at her before she spoke up. "You had no-one where you were before Dan. We are all with you here, and forever so whatever problems you have, you can tell us. You won't be able to heal if you don't tell us about it. Oftentimes, you need to discuss it with us for you to really heal."
"I just... don't wanna be a burden to you all..."
"You are anything but a burden, little buddy." Sora spoke over to him with a grin. "You are an awesome duelist able to do things we have never seen before. And you also choose to apply to You Show when there are tons of other Duel Schools like the Leo Institute, which meant that you were always a You Show Duelist at heart."
"Gong agrees little D." Gong agreed nodding with a stern gaze but soft tone with crossed arms. Dan turned over towards him hearing that. "It's harsh, for you to have no-one to guide you before, but now you have that here within Gong's heart, and this plethora of friends here. You were alone then, but this is now."
"And now you have friends close to you." Skip also spoke over in a stern gaze as well but a smile. He doesn't normally get so serious but if the situation calls for it, he can get serious to help anyone. "So in a sense we are your family now."
"That's right, and family, and friends stick together." Yuya agreed, smiling at Dan who stares over to them. "Whatever troubles you have, you don't have to carry them all alone anymore. For now on, if anything bothers you just tell one of us. We all stick together, and when the going gets tough the tough get dueling. It's like dad says, when you frown the only way to go is up like in a duel, and it's always best to put a smile on your face, and try to laugh when you feel like crying. So don't hold anything else from us okay?"
"Yes, Dan. Frankly, it isn't right for you to shoulder all of the hardships you have on your shoulders, let some of us take some of those hardships together. We need to stick together, and for us to handle anything we face. That also includes me, so there isn't a need to hold it in. You can tell us, and vent if you need to." Even Ray agreed as she appeared beside him with a soft smile. Everyone else can't see her but Dan can as he tries not to turn to not look like he's seeing things. "So don't try to shoulder anything of your troubles anymore, and let us help you okay?"
Dan stared over towards everyone who spoke at this as they have soft smiles towards his location, and a willingness to help him with his inner troubles, and demons. He had a slight feeling in his chest when he often hears this stuff, and things when he discusses it over with them but now that feeling... that feeling is stronger. Like it's filling a long hollow hole in his chest, and it feels warm, and fuzzy. Feeling something running down his cheek he blinked while Zuzu softly wiped where he could see it's a tear. Feeling his eyes are twitching, he notices he's about to cry... and well... he just did it.
The feeling he thought he never felt? The warmth he thought was long lost to him? It finally came. And now it filled a forgotten hole in his chest.
Everyone else just stood close as Dan cried his heart out from the feeling in his chest overwhelming him right now as Zuzu softly hugged him with Allie also doing it, and Riley shyly did it as well while everyone else watched with soft smiles seeing that Dan's crying his troubles away now. With this, they are sure that Dan will now speak to them about his troubles, and no longer have to shoulder anything now. Because now, he had something he had been wanting for a very long time.
A family who cares for him.
After that episode it was almost time for Allie, and Riley's duel to start. Right now Allie is shuffling her Deck to ready it for the duel ahead while Riley is on the other side. She had given her stuffed teddy bear named Beary to Dan for her to watch over while she duels as a source of comfort. She doesn't know the kind of duelist Riley is, but if he's a Leo Duelist, then she needs to bring her A-Game on at the table. She is representing You Show Duel School, and this is their chance to prove that it really is a Duel School that can match Leo in terms of dueling for fun, and to show Leo won't defeat them all that easily.
"Hey guys?"
Allie, alongside Frederick, and Tate all turned over seeing Dan had walked over towards them softly smiling. It was a little bit after he stopped crying, and recovered enough for him to have a clear mind again. After crying his troubles away, he felt a large weight from his shoulders had faded away, which is a good thing which means he can focus better. And now is something he has been meaning to discuss with these three after seeing Frederick's duel.
"Yeah Dan?"
"Well, been meaning to talk to you three about something." Dan has Beary in his arm with a smile over them. "After seeing Frederick's duel, I couldn't help but wonder if you three know how to make your Deck's stronger."
"Well... we don't have much luck managing to get cards like you do." Allie admitted towards him that Dan is a strong duelist, and can use multiple summon methods, something they don't have.
"I think I got some stuff for you guys to have." They blinked from this as Dan reached in his pocket where after telepathically talking with Ray about it, cards appeared in his pocket that he took, handing them to Frederick. "Here Frederick, after seeing your duel, I think these cards can make your Deck stronger."
Surprised by this, Fredrick takes the cards, and sees several cards like Beta Evolution Pill - Ultranscendance, Uradora of Fate, Jurassic Power, Lost World, Survival of the Fittest, and lots of Dinosaur support cards. But the ones that got his attention with widened eyes are purple monster cards he recognized as Fusion Monsters with a monster card to assist known as Dyna Base, and even a basic Polymerization.
"Fusion Monsters?" Tate, and Allie widen their eyes curiously checking, and sees that Frederick even has Fusion cards now in his hand that Dan had given him.
"Yup. I figured that with the type of Deck you have, you could use some needed edges. I don't think you, yet, managed to tap into your Deck's true potential, so I figured I'd take some Dinosaur related cards from my collection, and give them to ya." Dan isn't speaking the complete truth but it was what Ray suggested to keep suspicions about her from being known. Some of them are even used by Rex Raptor, and despite his Dueling Record is no Dueling Slouch so he knows that Frederick is gonna have a lot of good luck for now on.
"This is so cool Dan! This will surely make my opponents go kaput!" Frederick was excited at having new cards to use, and even use an advanced summoning method also. He will need to make edits to his Deck to augment them before his next duel, but knows that won't be an issue soon. Then he remembered his manners turning, and bowing to Dan. "Thank you, Dan!"
"It's no trouble." Dan smiled over to him. He then looked over to Allie who looks excited if she's getting some new cards herself. "Allie, I don't really know what Deck you use yourself, but I figure if you tell me your Deck, I can see if I have any cards to help you out."
"Aquaactress, full of Aqua monsters."
Dan gives some thought about this. Well, Aqua monsters are somewhat hard to figure out since they aren't used all that often, and it being a entertainment themed Deck it seems, it could use something to wow the crowd. Just then he gets an idea, and smiles reaching in his pocket, and after telling Ray of some of the cards he thought of, they appear in his pocket where he takes them out, and hands them to Allie who eagerly takes them checking them over.
Stuff like Aqua Jet, Abyss Soldier, Abyss Warrior, and several other basic Aqua support cards as well. But she sees something else, a Normal Monster that's a Tuner monster, and sees several white monster cards she recognized as Synchro Monsters. Being honest Synchro is always the summon method she's the most excited about, and seeing the Synchro Summon action that Kit had displayed against Gong, and Dan, and Declan done in their matches as well always makes her wish she can do that as well. Looks like that chance has come here as well.
"Wowie! I can use Synchro Monsters now!?" Allie couldn't keep her excitement in as she stares at them excited she can do her favorite summoning method now. She turned kissing Dan on the cheek and who blinked surprised with a surprised sound at that. "Thank you so much Dan!"
"Oh... you're welcome." Dan spoke over a few seconds after his mind gets back to order.
Tate looked a little jealous seeing that, having had a crush on Allie after seeing her but seeing that really tugged his heart in a jealous way. But he shakes his head knowing that Allie only did that to thank Dan, and knows that Dan didn't really give Allie the cards to impress her. Tate then looked towards Dan. "Well Dan, thanks if you're gonna offer me some." Dan looked over towards him where Tate then spoke to him. "But I'm gonna have to refuse."
"Huh?" Frederick, and Allie weren't expecting that looking at Tate surprised while Dan just stared towards him waiting to explain why exactly. He probably has a good reason why Tate would refuse new cards.
"Well... my Deck already has a summon method in it." Tate reaches into his Deck, pulling it out before showing Xyz Monsters towards them as they check over.
Seeing the cards Dan blinked recognizing the cards. It's the Digital Bug Deck, a unique Deck that focuses on changing the Battle Positions of monsters mainly into Defense Position for several benefits while also having the unique characteristic of Double Rank-Up without the need of a Rank-Up-Magic card by using 2 Overlay Units. Dan didn't think that Tate has this kind of Deck, it's a strong Deck if used properly, and since it alters Battle Positions into Defense, it can stop the opponent from attacking.
But Dan notices something. Another one of the Digital Bug Xyz Monsters but he doesn't recognized this one. First it's Rank is 8 which doesn't match the theme of Double-Rank Up that the Digital Bug has as they use Odd Levels/Ranks, and doesn't have the effect of using 2 Overlay Units to summon it well. Taking a look he reads the name 'Digital Bug Butterglitchtopia'.
"Butterglitchtopia... I don't recall that card being in the Digital Bug Deck."
Tate looked at the card himself when Dan spoke of that. This card is special towards him, and it has a lot of value to him. "Well... actually, I made this card, and one other card myself. My mother works for the Leo Institute, and she designs cards. She happened to find a drawing of those cards, and had made them into real cards herself."
"Whoa, your mother works for Leo? Then why are you with You Show instead of Leo?" That would be a fair question for Allie to ask. If Tate's mother really is from the Leo Institute, then why is he with a rival Duel School?
"Well, I had considered Leo... but, I think it's too arrogant for me." Seeing people like Sylvio, Kit, and Dipper only solidified his decision at not enrolling at LID. "It's strong, and has lots of different summon methods, but I always admired Yusho, and want to be a strong Dueltainer like he does. So I figure that, You Show is better for me, and seeing Yuya perform a Pendulum Summon has made my decision." He gave a smile that he had enrolled into You Show as Yusho always inspired him to be a Dueltainer like he was despite what lots of people had spoken, and seeing Yuya Pendulum Summon had finally made his mind at enrolling. Then he blinked seeing something. "Oh Allie, your duel is about to start!" She blinked before she widened her eyes quickly checking her cards for last minute edits with the cards Dan had given her.
"A few more shuffles for luck..." After she manages to ready her Deck in time she smiles, raising it up, now that it's ready with her favorite summoning methods included into it. "Perfect! My deck is set and I'm ready to rock the stadium!"
"It sounds like Allie's raring to go!" Yuya grinned seeing that Allie is more than ready, unaware of what Dan has given her.
"Ja, she saw me win my duel faster than a sports car racing down zee autobahn und now she's pumped!"
"Not to mention what Dan gave her." Tate reminded Frederick with a smile who smiled back with a nod.
"Principal Boyle!" Skip turned to see a woman with red hair, and a man with a camera walking over with smiles. "We're so excited to see our little girl duel today!"
While they were talking Dan walked over towards Allie to discuss things with her. "Allie?" She turned over to him before he smiled over to him. "I don't know what Riley can do. But, I know you can do it. Make sure you remember how to use Synchro like I do okay?" Allie nodded over with a smile ready, and he turned to head back before then speaking up. "Oh, and... Don't forget you can't attack on the first turn." That was when he was filled with confusion why he had said that to her, wondering where that came from.
"...to Allie's teacher." He looked towards the two which he figured by now are Allie's parents are discussing things with Skip, and from how the woman looked is displeased that her husband is focusing more on the camera to Allie than greeting the teacher.
"Nah, just make sure you get plenty of footage of Allie's duel." Skip doesn't mind it though since this is gonna be a grand match. After a win already in You Show's name, and against the Leo Institute, Skip feels confident that this next match will also end in their favor. "This might be the start of something big! With a win today, plus her training at You Show, I see Allie blossoming into one of the world's most famous Dueltainers. So save that video 'cause someday it could be playing in the Dueling Hall of Fame!"
"Well, Allie's already number one in our family hall of fame!" Allie's father adjusted the camera over towards his daughter with a smile more than a little proud of his daughter out on the Dueling Field. "Hey! Sweetie-pie! Over here!" Allie herself turned over confused, noticing her father was filming, and then started smiling and waving to the camera. "Isn't she adorable?"
"Well cute things aside sir her abilities as a duelist are gonna be tested here." Dan does know Allie's father being a total daughter's guy (if that's really what it's called). "And out on the Dueling Field it's action that does what you need to do!"
"Now let's head back to Duel Court 3, where the tug-of-war continues in out Youth Division! It's especially exciting since we have two new kids on the court, Allie and Riley, who are both competing here for the first time! I'm curious to see how this matchup unfolds. Their dueling styles are a complete mystery to us!" Joy announced towards her cameraman before she then turned to Riley. "I've heard, however, Riley is highly regarded by the staff of the Leo Institute!"
"The Leo Institute?" Skip, although already knowing that Allie will be against a Leo Duelist, didn't figure that this kid really was that Duelist. So to motivate Allie for her to show them that LID will not win that easily against them he calls to motivate her. "All right, Allie, you can beat that Leo kid, no sweat! Slam the lid down on L-I-D!"
Allie nodded, getting ready with a clenched fist walking to the field determined. This is her chance now! Time to show everyone that You Show Duel School hosts some fabulous Dueltainers, and wow the crowd.
"Is she the cutest warrior you've ever seen or what?"
"Yes... We know sir." Dan smiled with a sweatdrop towards Allie's father who is more than a little enthusiastic for seeing her looking serious.
"Look at the fire in Allie's eyes as she marches forward! And Riley..." Joy turns to Riley but notices she isn't moving. Knowing what she might be feeling she smiled walking over to gently assure her. "It'll be okay. Feeling a bit nervous, are we?" Riley flinched at this which You Show caught. Poor Riley, probably has stage fright, if this really is the first time that Riley is dueling in a tournament, then it's no wonder why she must be so nervous right now.
Dan frowned from this knowing that Riley is feeling real nervous in front of potentially the entire world viewing this match. And he knows how to help people like her so he starts to walk forward and all of You Show noticed themselves with Tate looking confused. "Dan what are...?" Dan walked past Allie as he walked over to Riley while the girl looked confused wondering why he was heading to her opponent.
Joy also noticed this announced. "Oh look at this. You Show's Dan is walking over to his classmate's opponent. What does he want to say to him?"
Dan placed a hand on Riley's shoulder which made her look up seeing him. They stared at each other before she then pulled her in for a hug surprising everyone including Riley herself.
"Eek." Riley squeaks surprised.
"It will be alright." Dan got out of the hug smiling gently towards her to have her calm down. "Just pretend nobody's there, and you'll be alright." Riley looked at him with a slight blush before nodding as Dan smiled walking back. Ray herself looked proud at Dan assuring Riley, and comforting her to help her get her mind at ease before the duel begins. Riley noticed the woman at a glass window above Allie, and widened her eyes seeing her recalling words she spoke before she shook her head walking forward. "Have fun Allie."
Allie nodded towards Dan with a smile as he walked back towards You Show. She turned to her opponent. "All right, ready when you are, Riley!"
"Go, Allie, go!" all of You Show cheered for her ready to see this match at hand.
Joy then looked up towards the Action Duel Sphere as it spun around to decide the field. "Now it's time to reveal the Action Duel for this duel!" Then it stopped revealing a drought like canyon with the sun shining so bright. "It's the hot spot known as Sun Valley! What a glorious locale for a duel! Our two contenders couldn't have asked for a more glorious field!"

"Behold. This is..." Like before Riley is in a gloomy presence and Allie looks a little irritated from this.
"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling! ACTION...!" Allie finished over the correct way to begin the duel.
"DUEL!" The Action Card Sphere broke apart as the field appeared around them for the duel to begin.

"Okay the first turn is mine!" Allie smiled checking over her hand wondering how to start this duel off. She eyes one of the cards that Dan had given her is in her hand as well. She smiled over but unfortunately she can't Synchro Summon quite yet. So she needs to keep like how she usually does, and do what she can against Riley here. "Okay, I start by summoning Aquaactress Guppy to the field in Attack Position!"
Raising onto the field was a hot pink/light pink fish like monster with her tail fin acting as a dress down below while her arm fins are like arms where she has a gold cane in it as she bubbled over wearing a red actress dress with a pink flower around her waist, and blue crystal eyes while wearing a small red hat with a yellow bowtie on it. She isn't really strong but she's a beauty to look at.

Allie has something to help her monster out with a smile playing a spell as cracks appear in the canyon that flowed water onto the field flooding the Action Field, and changing its environment while thankfully as it's only a hologram, she and Riley can still breath. Gubby bubbled happily at feeling the cool water on her body in comparison to the hot sun.

Two benefits 1 for WATER monsters, and another for Aquaactresses... And looked like they needed it as with 600 ATK, Guppy doesn't look like the really strong type although this is only the start so Dan, and Ray will pay close attention to see what Allie's Deck can do.
"This Aquarium lacks some furnishing so I use, Aquarium Set from my hand!" Another continuous spell appeared where houses appeared behind her looking like a white underwater Japanese house that Guppy flew around in.

"I don't know what you're talking about, but this is fun!" Tate didn't care as much, just excited at seeing this like all the others including the spectators are getting excited from the underwater duel that Allie giggled from. The crowd is getting excited like she hoped, she know needs to keep this going. Her field isn't finished being set up quite yet.
"And then next I'll summon out Aquaactress Tetra!" Emerging on the field was another actress like fish that's a blue version of Guppy with a pink blush on her cheeks, green eyes, blue cane, and a smaller tail fin bubbling around.

Allie was about to do something else before she paused, recalling what Dan told her. He said she can't attack on the first turn, which she had almost forgotten. So she nodded thinking it's a good thing that Dan reminded her about that, or that it would be a little embarrassing for You Show. So as an alternative she just ended her turn. "That ends my turn."
So her Deck plays where she swarms her field with initially weak monsters but she can power them up with the Aquarium cards to protect them, and overpower her opponents by making them tougher to defeat in battle, and immune to whatever card effects they have. It really makes it where even the weakest cards can have a use within the Deck which impresses both Dan, and Ray, if she can manage to do that much, then they wonder how Riley can respond to this. So they looked over towards her opponent to see what she could do.

Looking up back towards the window she sees that it's not only the woman but Declan also that is watching her. She has a lot of expectations placed on her by the two of them, and now is time for her to show the fruits, and results of her long training against Duel Academy. That in mind she looked over to Allie with a fire in her eyes that wasn't there before which Allie blinked. "I shall start by summoning this fiendish summoner from my hand! Libic, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss!"
Her next monster is a demon that is purple skinned having yellow long hair behind it's head with spikes on its shoulders, and arms sharp claws on its hands, shackles on it's upper arms, demonic wings that are red at the inside, glowing yellow eyes, a long tail, and a orange sash around it's waist.

"Wait, Burning Abyss!?" Out of all of the Deck choices for Riley to have, Dan wasn't expecting for her to be using that Deck. It's a really powerful Deck that can use the graveyard real well, and can summon multiple Extra Deck monsters including Ritual while also possessing effects to supply her hand with powerful effects. This will be a rather difficult duel for Allie, especially if he thinks that Riley's Deck has a lot of things that made Burning Abyss Decks right to fear.
"There goes the award for scariest monster." Tate, and Frederick shuddered together seeing the monster that Riley summoned.
"Since I have no Spell or Trap Cards on my field, I can summon this next card from my hand." Riley reveals another monster card in her hand before she is placed in on the field where something began rising. "Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss!"
Raising onto the field was another demon-like monster shaping as a dragon as it growled over raising up glaring over at Allie's field. It's black scaled with red glowing eyes alongside a red x like scar on its chest with yellow demonic wings that has spikes on the spines, shackles on it's wrists, and neck, and has claws on its hands ready to start tearing apart what it's mistress wants it for.

Emerging this time was not a demon. It's a human man having ashen gray hair with a Ceaser Crown on his head while wearing a red vest like leather garb with a black shirt underneath it with several belt buckles around his chest, and waist that holds pouches. There is also a golden dagger equipped on his right hip, and bronze armbands on his wrists.

"Riley... Can Xyz Summon?" Zuzu questioned seeing this shocked.
Dan, and Ray however aren't really all that surprised for several reasons. As Burning Abyss uses several Extra Deck Methods, and can quickly swarm to do so, they can do a lot, and that Riley is related to Declan who can use Advance Summon methods as well. They wonder what exactly they can see, what Riley can do with it, because this Xyz Monster can definitely do a lot despite its low ATK.
"That monster isn't that strong though..."
"Just because it has low ATK doesn't mean that it can be defeated easily. It must have some strong effects." Yuya spoke over to Tate so that they can focus on whatever this monster can do against Allie.
"And now I activate its special ability." Riley calls raising an arm as Dante takes an Overlay Unit before Riley takes her top three cards, sending them to her graveyard. "By using an Overlay Unit, I can send any number of cards from the top of my Deck to the graveyard with a limit to 3. For each one, Dante gains 500 Attack Points until the end of this turn." Allie widened her eyes looking over as Dante gained power against both of her monsters.

"Now an effect activates. When it's sent to the graveyard, Cagna's special ability sends 1 Burning Abyss Spell or Trap card from my Deck to the graveyard." Riley checks over her Deck taking a card, and slips it into her graveyard. "And now time to battle. Dante attack Aquaactress Tetra!" Dante readied pulling out his dagger charging in towards Tetra.
Seeing this Allie quickly jumps onto Guppy as she swam around the field quickly aiming for an Action Card. Noticing this Riley looked around, and heads to find one herself. Allie soon finding one moved quickly grabbing it checking over. She grinned when she sees what it is. "Okay I activate the Action Spell, Choice Choice!" It shows of a colorful black shaded person in between two circles one side blue, and one side red.

"So now during calculation, I can pick an effect where any Battle Damage becomes half of the damage I will take! And due to Stage, and Lighting's effects Tetra isn't destroyed, and her Attack Points will double as she battles!" Tetra boosted up some strength against Riley's Xyz Monster as she summons her cane to defend herself.

Riley meanwhile takes an Action Card she finds but frowns seeing it's not the one she wanted. With that uninterrupted, Dante slashed down towards Tetra who blocks with her cane as the extra damage lapped over towards Allie. Due to Choice Choice, the damage she takes in this battle is halved which saves her from a ton of damage. (Allie: 3650/Hand: 1) And Dante will be weakened enough thanks to that so that Allie can take care of her in this next round.
"As Dante attacked he changes to Defense Position at the end of the battle." Dante kneeled down steathing his dagger to start defending.

"Now it goes to defense?" Tate looked worried since none of Allie's monsters right now have enough ATK to destroy Dante, even with Lighting's effect Guppy's ATK is still nowhere near Dante's 2500 DEF. Plus who knows what else can happen if Riley gets another turn with it.
"And it has enough Defense Points to block Allie..." Frederick likewise also looked worried.
"Maybe, maybe not, remember this is only the beginning of the duel. So whatever comes next is a chance for Allie to show she means business." Yuya spoke over to them. He then looked over at Allie feeling something is different this time around about her... he isn't sure what exactly can happen here, but can feel she is gonna pull a showstopper on her next turn. He wonders what kind of showstopper it is exactly.
Riley places a 3 cards down to end her turn. Not before one last effect. "Due to the effect of Scram as it was sent to the graveyard this turn, I take a Fiend from my Deck that's Level 3, and DARK from my Deck, and add it to my hand." She searches her Deck, adding a card after showing it to Allie to end her turn. So she has a strong Defense on her field, and what else she is planning to use next turn. Well Allie isn't going to give her that chance, thanks to Dan.

"Okay, time to try the new cards Dan gave me!" Taking her drawn card she reveals it. "First I activate the spell, Aqua Story - Southern Boardwalk!" A spell revealing several Aquaactresses are on the card looking to be performing some shows together.

If you control 2 or more "Aquaactress" monsters with different names: Target 1 of those monsters; Special Summon 1 "Aquaactress" monster from your Deck that's the same name as that monster, but that monster cannot activate it's effects this turn. You can only activate "Aqua Story - Southern Boardwalk" once per turn.
"I need two Actresses to spell this tale!" Guppy, and Tetra both bubbled as they started to bring something over. So now a second Guppy comes to the field!" From that a water portal opened where a second Guppy emerged from it bubbling over.

"Nice narrative." Dan couldn't help admitting to himself with Ray nodding and agreeing. She really is a You Show Duelist if she can make a story like that from a simple spell card, and is real creative in tying in the effect with the story as well.
"And now we will bring a new star!" Allie eyes the card in her hand before then raising it up where he glowed which Riley paid attention looking confused. "Now I will summon a new star to the field! With this, this show under the sea is gonna get better than ever!" They all stared curious, and interested in what Allie is planning to do, and if it can handle Riley's Burning Abyss cards hopefully can break through the harsh 2500 DEF her Xyz Monster has. Although Dan, and Ray have some suspicions, and have smiles already figuring out what she plans to do.
Cliffhangers. There the worst aren't they? Well don't worry, this was only the start, and the rest will be placed in by next week. As you already noticed Allie has some cards that she didn't had in canon, cause Aquaactresses are a fun Deck to use, and wished they, and Allie had been given more time to shine. She's the only one of the You Show Trio to have a full on-screen duel in canon, and that's really disappointing from the amount of potential their Decks can have. Although you may noticed that Tate isn't using his Xyz Magnet Warrior Deck anymore, I graduated from that but still figured him as an Xyz Summoner so I switched to Digital Bug like in Daughter's version of him including Butterglitchtopia, and gave it a slight story how it exists now.
Also I haven't exactly done over some development over Dan's inner troubles of him being lonely from his background so I figured this be the perfect chance to tackle that so that everyone can tell him, he's their family now, and will not be alone anymore. And also noticed that like in canon Dan supplied some of them with new cards to use, Frederick will still use custom Doodle Beasts but for now as his, and Allie's Decks didn't had Fusion or Synchro to start with, they won't be having archetype members of those methods quite yet, so their bound to what Dan gave them at the moment.
