Reviews from previous chapter:

Ulrich362:

Fair enough Declan, Zuzu is definitely a strong duelist. That makes sense Hector, nobody is perfect but it sounds like you get along really well with the other members of the LID Quintet. Leo Aiaha... that makes sense, but by that very logic Zarc is more a victim than anyone else... unless you're going with the idea that the human "Zarc" died the day of that first incident and the monster you hate is something else entirely.

That said, in regards to this chapter Dan's opinion of Frederick and Trevor's Decks makes sense, hopefully Frederick can get some new cards from Ray though I'm not sure what cards Ray could add to his collection. Though as for Zuzu having to keep things secret for now, it has to be tough but it's a bit ironic that both Zuzu and Dan know more than most people but have to pretend not to when they really could talk and figure out everything already. Oh, and Ray thinking of teasing Dan about Riley's crush is going to be so much fun when she gets around to it... though who does she tease more, Dan or her new half-sister? Poor Dan, having to see Frederick and Trevor get supported by their parents when he doesn't have anything... hopefully someone gives the poor guy a huge hug... and yes Ray you adopting him would be nice but with Riley's crush it would be awkward. Yeah, Dan's points about Doodle Beast - Tyranny do make sense and while there are stronger dinosaurs it's definitely a good ace for Frederick. Dan, it's ok to be upset after seeing Frederick and Trevor get support from their parents while you don't have any... or at least not any that are kind... your foster family should have been better to you, but being upset isn't something you should keep to yourself, and everyone there will understand and be there to help you feel better... it's not a real family but Ray, Riley, Gong, and everyone at You Show is a kind of pseudo family for you. And they all feel the same way... you're not alone and you never will be Dan. So Dan gives Frederick some Fusion support, that makes sense for him and it's kind that he and Ray got them for him. As for Allie with water support and some synchros... interesting, though thinking about it in hindsight do they know how to use the advanced mechanics... Zuzu had to train to learn to Fusion Summon so even with the new cards will the You Show Trio be able to take advantage of these new cards? Oh, maybe I was wrong... Tate has connections to the Leo Institute and was likely going to be in the Xyz Course from the sounds of it, that's surprising. It's nice to see that after the support from Zuzu and the others and a good cry Dan isn't as upset seeing Allie's parents being so supportive, though her father is definitely a "daughter's guy" in a huge way. That was so sweet Dan, supporting Riley and trying to help her calm down despite her being against one of your schoolmates... that's what should happen, dueling isn't a fight it's to have fun and improve... and I'm sure Riley appreciates that more than you know. Well Allie definitely had a strong opening move, though anyone could have a strong start so she needs to be careful considering what Riley might play... and she's using Burning Abyss, that deck can be extremely powerful and if she's trained to fight Duel Academy she's definitely going to be able to outperform Allie in this duel... at least in theory, who knows what the Synchro Monsters Dan gave her can do to balance things out. Starting with Dante is very powerful, not only does Riley have his own effect but any Burning Abyss cards she sends to the graveyard too, Allie might have gotten an Action Card but she's not in a good position in this duel. Though it sounds like she has something big planned, can't wait to see what it is. Incredible chapter, looking forward to the update.

Also just a minor aside that's not relevant here but I have to say it again that I feel bad for Allie when she could have beaten Riley in their canon duel... but wasn't allowed to make the winning move.

Okay here are the questions:

Question 1, 2 & 3 from Ulrich362:

(To Riley)

As for questions of the chapter... um... I don't really have any huge ones so I'll just ask Riley if you think this duel will be any fun? I know you have your mother's expectations and also Declan's but dueling can still be enjoyable so... hopefully you can enjoy these more fun duels before things go south?

Riley: You should know that I only duel as a Duel Soldier. If I wasn't so... empty back then, I would think it be fun, but I think thanks to Dan that may change.

First off sorry the summary last chapter didn't really shows the duel between Riley, and Allie, I thought that I haven't made any mention of it happening last chapter yet. But now that be fixed with this where we can see the two against each other again. Like you seen before, this version of Allie will be using Synchro Summoning but will also use custom Aquaactress cards as well. I am trying to use TCG cards only but custom cards to help archetypes, custom archetypes, or what I think are good to have are permitted. So let's see how different this duel between them will turn out!

Summary: The duel with Riley, and Allie continues, and Allie had revealed her secret weapon which was Synchro Summoning using the cards that Dan, and Ray had supplied her with. With these new Synchro Monsters, Allie pushes Riley into a corner but Riley shows that even with Synchro Summoning she is a difficult opponent. Upon the duel's conclusion, Zuzu had spoken that she will continue forward against Julia, and after her duel with Declan, she is eager to show Julia all she can do against her, for their previous duel. Of course, Julia hasn't even revealed all she can do quite yet.

Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! as a whole but I own any OCs! ENJOY!

Previously on Ascension of the Dragons:

"Frederick, Papa's proud of you."

"Mama, too!"

The duel between Trevor, and Frederick is shown as Frederick draws Doodle Beast - Tyranno which he grinned from before he summoned the monster. "Now face zee terror of mein Tyranno!" The dinosaur roared, charged in tackling a screaming Trevor as he landed nearby with a groan of 'My superpowers failed...'

Seeing Frederick's parents congratulating Frederick, made Dan jealous as he turned away which Tate, and Allie noticed while Tate asked him gently. "Dan? What's the matter?"

"When I see other parents having fun with their kids I get a little jealous."

"Oh Dan, you can just talk with us if it's really upsetting." Yuya said, frowning, that Dan is really lonely.

"I just... don't wanna be a burden to you all..."

"You are anything but a burden, little buddy." Sora grinned over what he really is thinking of Dan.

Gong spoke over and agreed. "You were alone then, but this is now."

"So in a sense we are your family now." Skip smiled in a stern gaze.

"That's right, and family, and friends stick together." Yuya added, smiling.

"That also includes me, so there isn't a need to hold it in. Don't try to shoulder anymore of your troubles anymore, and let us help you okay?"

Dan had tears in his eyes before he started to cry his heart out from feeling loved while the girls hugged him close, and they watched with gentle smiles seeing him letting out all his pain.

"DUEL!" Allie, and Riley's match began, and now Allie is on her second turn in which she raised a card. "And now we will bring a new star!" The card she raised started glowing which Riley paid attention looking confused. "Now I will summon a new star to the field! With this, this show under the sea is gonna get better than ever!" Everyone stares wondering what card it is she is going to summon.

Allie 2nd Turn:

Now we are back onto the duel between Allie, and Riley where Allie just started her turn, and had used a spell to summon a second Guppy, and is now raising a card claiming that a new star is gonna be summoned. Everyone wondered what new star exactly, Allie means by that. From what they can understand they know Allie's Deck involves initially weak monsters, and power them up with her Aquarium spell cards to make them powerful opponents. So this new star is gonna be pretty surprising for it to be a new star.

Right now Allie has her Aquaactresses Tetra, and two Guppies all in Attack Position but once can't use her effects, and her three Aquarium Spell cards.

(ORU: 1)

"Now time for your debut! Deep Sea Diva!" Allie places the summoned card as materializing onto the field wasn't an Aquaactress but something else.

A woman that looked like a mermaid as she swam onto the field letting out a melodic song singing from her throat was wearing a blue outfit with a long orange mermaid tail while having frill fins on her shoulders, head as hair, and some on her tail. She also has a thing on her head, and purple armguards on her arms.

DEF: 400

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower Sea Serpent monster from your Deck.

"Deep... Sea Diva?" Zuzu looked confused, and surprised seeing this monster like You Show.

They never saw this monster that Allie had summoned. Quite a star she is, she's such a beauty of the sea, a performer underwater like her Aquaactresses although, they haven't seen this one. Where did Allie find a card such as that? She can't have gotten it from a random booster pack, it's gotta be from someone.

Someone who Tate, and Frederick realized as Tate turned to Dan who had a smile on his face. "That card was one of the ones you gave Allie, isn't it Dan?" Everyone from You Show, and Allie's parents turned over to said boy hearing that. Dan was the one who gave Allie this card? Well it makes sense but why'd he give Allie a card like this that isn't Aqua-Type?

"Yup, it's one of the ones that I gave her. There isn't much Aqua support I know but I think from the kind of Deck she uses, I figure the cards I gave her fit." Dan had given careful thought while he had been thinking what cards to give Allie. One of the strongest WATER Synchro Decks that use Aqua monsters are the Ice Barriers, but Dan figured that one is too aggressive for someone like Allie who is a You Show Duelist, and needs a Deck that fits her, and can wow the crowd. The Deep Sea cards were recent cards in the game as far as he can tell, and even though their Sea Serpent they fit in her Deck's theme so he figured that would be the perfect Deck for her. Although he, and Ray did work some cards for her to use as the Deep Sea series only has 2 Synchros that are Tuners themselves.

"And whenever this gal is summoned, I can take a Sea Serpent from my Deck that's Level 3 or lower, and summon her!" Allie smiled as she searched her Deck, finding another card that Dan gave her, and summoned it. "So now come to the field! Yamatako Orochi!" Raising onto the field was a squid.

A squid that kinda looked like a cool old grandpa from how he looked. A purple squid with black eyes, and having a lighter violet mustache, with 2 like ears on his head, and on each end of his tentacles were a sea serpent's head almost like a hydra but until the fictional creature these don't look threatening each shaping like a unicorn's head with black eyes, and a yellow horn shaped like a key, and a yellow swirl like collar around their necks.

● 8 or lower: Gains 800 ATK/DEF.
● 9 or higher: If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage.

"They don't look like much but they can do quite a bit!" Now Allie has 5 monsters on the field, and each of them can't be destroyed, and gain power. For her Aquaactresses that power is doubled, and further doubled with Lighting, and are unaffected to her opponent's monster effects. Of course, she swarmed to fill her field up but none of them are capable of destroying Dante who has 2500 DEF, and come next turn, he can overwhelm her monsters if moved to Attack Position.

Yamatako Orochi: (ATK: 0 + 300 = 300/DEF: 800 + 300 = 1100)

Deep Sea Diva: (ATK: 200 + 300 = 500/DEF: 400 + 300 = 700)

"I'm doing it! I'm really gonna do it! I tune Level 2 Deep Sea Diva with Level 1 Tetra, and Level 2 Guppy!

Eyes widening they watch as Allie's three monsters flew up as Deep Sea Diva let out a harmonic solo turning to 2 rings while Tetra, and Guppy each bubbled happily flying up passing the rings as they turned to 3 stars together.

(LV: 2 + 1 + 2 = 5)

"Underwater Performers gather here to the stage, and will make a play unlike any other thanks to the pianist! Synchro Summon! Come on Level 5, Deep Sea Repetiteur!"

Raising onto the field was a mature woman like a mermaid wearing a white outfit with a ice blue like snowflake on her chest while wearing a pink scale like crown having a blue sapphire like gem on it. She also has a white almost like translucent blue tail almost like it's made of water itself, with glowing light frills on her dress, and arms singing a harmonic solo.

Since when can Allie Synchro Summon? First was the new Sea Serpent cards, and the next, she summoned a Synchro Monster. Did Dan give her those cards as well? Well if he did, he chose some pretty beautiful cards. And if it can work with Allie's Aquaactresses by summoning low-leveled Synchro Monsters like this one, then they can trust that Dan picked the right choices for her to use. Especially since they are wondering what kind of abilities it has.

"I did it!" Allie cheered jumping up. She had wanted to Synchro Summon for a very long time, and finally she had done one successfully! Dan really helped her dream of Synchro Summoning come true, and now it's gonna help her against this Leo Duelist! "I really Synchro Summoned, I really did it! I did it!"

"Oh she looks so cute when she's cheering!" Her father got out of his shock seeing his daughter use Synchro Summoning, and turned back to 'daughter's guy' mode snapping pictures of Allie celebrating her first successful Synchro Summoning. Although this Synchro Summon was shocking to him, he still couldn't get over how happy, and cheerful his little girl looked when she's celebrating this, almost reminding him of when she first started dueling.

"Dan... did you give Allie that Synchro Monster?" Zuzu turned over to said boy realizing this after remembering what Tate said earlier towards Dan.

"Yup, I did. Frederick's Deck was interesting but it was insipid on where it was before. Oh, that means it's lacking flavor, as in it's much to be desired." Dan spoke on what insipid means to Frederick who looked confused. "So, I thought, I give him some cards that can help get his Deck to be stronger, and some of them are used by Rex Raptor so you know there gonna be powerful. Unfortunately, they aren't much Dinosaur Fusions so I given him the ones that I remember the most. Allie meanwhile, I recall several Decks that use Xyz but I feel that for her she's more of a Synchro user especially with the Deep Sea cards. Tate however didn't want any, he already has something like them."

"He does?" Yuya looked over towards Tate.

"Well yeah... you probably guessed I use Xyz." Tate admitted over with a small smile which Sora stared over towards him before they all turned back to pay attention to the duel.

"Alright!" To get back to the duel, Allie turned back with a smile. "Why stop at 1 Synchro when I can have 2?" Riley blinked over as Allie raised an arm where Yamatako Orochi was above her. "Whenever this guy is used for a Synchro Summon, I can treat him as a Level 8 monster!" Say what!? Then that means- "And now Level 8 Yamatako Orochi tunes my other Level 2 Aquaactress Guppy!"

Yamatako Orochi bubbled as his hydra head like tentacles generated a tuning ring before he turned to 1 himself while Guppy bubbled flying up turning to 2 stars.

(LV: 8 + 2 = 10)

A Level 10 Synchro Summon that easily?

Once per Chain, if your opponent Special Summons a monster(s) (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon 1 "Ice Barrier" monster from your hand, Deck, Extra Deck, or GY, then you can change 1 Attack Position monster your opponent controls to Defense Position. You can only use this effect of "Lancea, Ancestral Dragon of the Ice Mountain" twice per turn. If this face-up Synchro Summoned card in its owner's control leaves the field because of an opponent's card: You can Special Summon 1 "Ice Barrier" Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck. (This is treated as a Synchro Summon.)

Dan knows that the Ice Barrier cards are too aggressive... but sometimes that's fine as long as you have fun right? Besides, Allie needs cards that are more aggressive to have a better chance against her opponents such as this.

"And due to, Aquarium Set both of my monsters gain 300 points!" From that her Continuous Spell powered both of her Synchros.

Deep Sea Repetiteur: (ATK: 1800 + 300 = 2100/DEF: 1500 + 300 = 1800)

Lancea, Ancestral Dragon of the Ice Mountain: (ATK: 3300 + 300 = 3600/DEF: 2700 + 300 = 3000)

Not only can Allie Synchro Summon but can summon a high Leveled one with low leveled monsters on her field, and one as powerful as that dragon she just summoned? Consecutive Synchro Summons as well? Dan really supplied her with powerful cards, and she already mastered them to this degree? Usually when people get new cards, they require some training or foresight to use them well, but Allie is already using them to their true potential. She probably read the card effects, and already knows what to do, and wonders what else is next for them.

Declan, and the woman themselves are watching with interest, and shock. Declan isn't all that surprised as after seeing Dan's talents, and abilities from all of his qualification matches, he somewhat expected for Dan to then lend some powerful cards to his classmates. And now that Allie had summoned 2 Synchro Monsters in 1 turn, one of them being a Level 10 he may add, it automatically makes him interested in her to be a Lancer. Of course, this is Riley she is facing, so she needs to prove herself to them that she really is worthy.

"She manages to Synchro Summon 2 times, and 1 is a high-leveled card." the woman spoke stunned watching this. She knows Riley will get out of this, but seeing this from a child not Riley, and doing it so expertly is still so shocking. What is she getting worried about though, Riley won't fall down that easily.

"It appears we should keep a closer eye on You Show's Duelists. Looks like Dan is assisting them." Declan adjusted his glasses while he said this staring at the duel. "Now then Allie, show us more of what you can do." From seeing this, he is very interested in seeing Allie's new skills. After he lost to Zuzu, he is keeping a closer eye on anyone else who can hold the kind of talent she has which turned out to be a good idea as otherside than seeing Riley's duel, it also seems that You Show has some surprising tricks as well.

Riley herself stares over at the Synchro Monsters with shock evident in her eyes. She didn't expect that she would be facing a Duelist who can use Extra Deck Methods except for Dan but was incorrect on it. Allie performed 2 in the same turn, and had used low Leveled monsters to do so, and with her Continuous Spells they can't be removed all that easily. This is getting tougher by the second...

"And now battle!" Allie moved as Repetiteur turned softly grabbing Allie, and placed her on her back swimming around as Allie searched around for an Action Card. Eventually seeing one Allie takes it seeing she had grabbed Miracle. A card she can't use right now, but useful when it's time for her to use it. She turned over. "Okay Lancea, attack Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss! Ice-Shot!"

While Allie's monster is charging an attack Riley eyes the Action Card in her hand which is Big Escape, that can end the Battle Phase instantly. Although it's a card that can help her, she decides not to use it. She has something planned that requires Dante being sent to the graveyard. From that Dante readied himself before he was struck from the large ice blast destroyed.

However Allie has a trick on it. "And don't relax yet! As Lancea was Synchro Summoned by using Yamatako Orochi, it gives him a special ability! So now if Lancea's Attack Points are lower than the Defense Points of your monster, you take the difference as damage!" The ice blast shot over striking Riley, dealing some damage to her. (Riley: 2900/Hand: 3 (Action Card)) Thanks to all those Defense Points, Riley didn't take a whole lot of damage. Although Allie almost wiped out half of her Life Points.

Plus she won't take this attack thanks to a special effect. "Dante's other ability activates! But first, I chain it with Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss' effect." Allie blinked as the card rose from Riley's graveyard. "When this card is sent to the graveyard, I can summon 1 Burning Abyss from my Deck. So now, I summon Barbar, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss in Defense Position!"

Materializing on the field defending Riley was a fiendish man wielding a large spiked chain ball. He is pretty big with a large belt around his waist with scars all over his body with being somewhat muscular, and a large beard. He has 2 horns that are curved but his right one appeared to be cut with large demonic wings on his back with a minotaur skull like necklace around his neck with fur like boots on his feet, and in his hands was a large spiked chain connected to a giant steel ball adorned with spikes all over.

● If you control no Spell/Trap Cards: You can Special Summon this card from your hand.
● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target up to 3 "Burning Abyss" cards in your Graveyard, except "Barbar, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss"; banish them, and if you do, inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each.

"And as Dante was sent to the graveyard, I can take one Burning Abyss card from my graveyard, and then added it to my hand." Riley searches her graveyard taking the card that Cagna's effect sent, adding it to her hand.

Nodding Allie continued her battle. "Okay, Repetiteur attack that new monster of hers!" Repetiteur charged a water wave before shooting it that washed away Barbar without a fuss clearing Riley of monsters.

Of course, Riley can now use it. "Now Barbar's ability activates! As it was sent to the graveyard, I banished 3 different Burning Abyss cards from my graveyard, and for each of them, you take 300 points of damage!" Allie widened her eyes as Dante, Cagna, and Graff appeared above Riley being banished before Barbar appeared again shooting his large ball striking Allie who yelped from the effect damage. (Allie: 2750/Hand: 1 (Action Card)) She just banished her Xyz Monster. What exactly is Riley up to? Allie is gonna find out soon though, and thanks to both Aquarium Set, and Stage, both of her Synchros can't be defeated too easily. With nothing else she just ended her turn.

Allie's Hand: 1 (Action Card)/Field: Lancea, Ancestral Dragon of the Ice Mountain (Attack Position/ATK: 3600/DEF: 3000), Deep Sea Repetiteur (Attack Position/ATK: 2100/DEF: 1800), Aquarium Stage (face-up), Aquarium Set (face-up), Aquarium Lighting (face-up)

Riley 2nd Turn:

"It's my turn then, I draw." No monsters on her field, and her Xyz Monster is banished. She added a card to her hand, and dealt damage just now, the Burning Abyss Deck is still as powerful as it was in the past. Although, Dan can sense something is up. Why would she banish her Xyz Monster to deal damage? Something doesn't add up, this is too suspicious, he doesn't know what else exactly Riley can do but they're gonna see.

Seeing her drawn card Riley then turned her attention to her middle set card. "I activate my face-down, D.D. Post!" A trap rose up showing Warrior Dai Grepher holding what looks like a love letter while thinking of D.D. Warrior Lady like he wants to give the letter to her while, Different Dimension Gate is in the artwork.

If this card is banished: You can place it face-up on your field. You can only use this effect of "D.D. Post" once per turn.

"Due to this card's effect during either of our Main Phases, I banish 1 card from either my hand or graveyard, and then I can shuffle 1 of my banished cards back into my Deck." Riley then activates another of her face-downs. "Then I activate Soul Release." A spell rose showing a blue woman praying like she's a soul being released.

Soul Release

Normal Spell Card

Target up to 5 cards in any GY(s); banish them.

"Due to this card's effect, I take 5 cards in any our graveyards, and banish them." Allie looked alarmed seeing that Riley is gonna banish some of her cards. But instead Riley searches over her graveyard showing Libic, Scram, the trap Alpha Summon, and Barbar itself which confuses them seeing Riley only banished her own cards. "Then I use D.D. Post's effect." Riley takes the Soul Release from her graveyard, banishing it before then taking Dante's card placing it back into her Extra Deck. So she banished her Xyz Monster to return it to her Deck for her to use again once she gathers the monsters again. Although now that she has a Spell or Trap card on her field, she is unable to summon her Burning Abyss monsters with their Special Summon effects.

"D.D.? That card doesn't look like the ones that Declan uses..."

"Not all cards that stand for Different Dimension are the same." Sora explained to Tate saying that. "The two might have the same name but before Declan's cards, there exists a name of cards that also uses the name 'Different Dimension' such as the D.D. cards. Unlike Declan's who can summon multiple times for Extra Deck methods, these cards focus on banishing cards for advantages. You occasionally see them from time to time as cards that can help turn the tide in your favor, and such although a full Deck isn't made." Sora then narrowed his eyes towards the trap card. "Although, I have never seen a card like that before."

"Me either, and she used it to get her Xyz Monster back. But she also got rid of her whole graveyard." Zuzu spoke up, confused, about Riley's plays. Why would she banish her entire graveyard? Now she doesn't have anything in her graveyard to use, and that really confuses them. Dan himself is also confused, as he had never seen this type of strategy that Burning Abyss can do as D.D. Post is a new card that helps duelists on banishing cards. Does it have some kind of effect that activates on the number of cards that Riley has that is banished or something?

Well there about to find out as Riley takes a spell revealing it. "And now I activate the spell card, Chaos Greed!" A spell showing a red robed magician generating green energy on two cards within a cave was shown.

Chaos Greed

Normal Spell Card

You can only activate this card if 4 or more of your cards are currently removed from play and there are no cards in your Graveyard. Draw 2 cards from your Deck.

"As I have no cards in my graveyard, have 4 banished right now, I can draw 2 cards." Riley drew two cards checking them over.

Dan blinked surprised from this. "She actually managed to use Chaos Greed?" That spell is probably one of the most difficult to ever activate as otherside from the condition of having 4 banished cards, it also requires for the duelists to have no cards in their graveyard which isn't an easy condition to use. But now Riley had managed to use it, talking about surprising... Although he isn't sure if using it is worth it. The only duelist he thinks that can ever use the card, is Professor Banner under the persona of Amnael, and his Alchemy Deck.

"Wow, Chaos Greed? Never thought, I see the day for anyone to use it." Yuya admitted also as surprised as Dan was at seeing the really old card that's too difficult to use normally be used properly like this. And it still has the old term 'removed from play' which was the original term for 'banish' when Duel Monsters was born, and trying to get used to the new proper rules. That lets them know how far behind Chaos Greed was in the era it's in now. Now from that Riley has six cards in her including an Action Card.

"And I activate my face-down, Escape from the Dark Dimension!" Riley revealed another trap on her field that shows D.D Survivor emerging from a darkened portal onto a wasteland as if referencing its effect.

Escape from the Dark Dimension

Continuous Trap Card

Target 1 of your banished DARK monsters; Special Summon that target. When this card leaves the field, destroy that target, and if you do, banish it. When that target is destroyed, destroy this card.

"Due to this card's effect, I take 1 DARK monster that is banished, and summon it back. So now I summon back Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss." Graff materialized back onto the field growling.

Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss: (Attack Position/Escape from the Dark Dimension)

Escape from the Dark Dimension: (Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss)

Seeing this Allie knows she needs to gather her defenses. "Okay, I activate Lancea's special ability!" Lancea charged energy over while Riley blinked from this as Allie explained to her. "Thanks to it, whenever you Special Summon a monster, I can summon an Ice Barrier from my Deck, Hand, Extra Deck, or graveyard! So now I summon Dewdark of the Ice Barrier in Defense Position!"

Emerging on the field was a blonde haired man like ninja kneeling down wearing a black cloak with blue/gold decorative like sash/belt, and armguards with a ice kunai, and a snowflake shuriken in his hands with a black facemask, and a headband.

"After that your monster goes in Defense Position!" Graff growled as it was forced to Defense Position.

Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss: (Defense Position)

Combine that with the effect that Yamatako Orochi gives Lancea, it can overpower any monster in Defense that Riley will summon or force them to Defense to keep them from attacking or what else. But Riley is just beginning. "I now summon Rubic, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss." Some sort of demon sorcerer rose up having pitch black skin with several curved black horns on his head, and sharp teeth while having fur shoulder cuffs with a belt harness over his chest with the same demonic wings, a red flowing sash, and wielding a dark branch like staff growling.

If you control no Spell/Trap Cards: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Rubic, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss" once per turn.

Allie readied herself thinking Riley is gonna Xyz Summon again, but Riley has a different plan. "I now tune Level 3 Rubic with Level 3 Graff!" Allie widened her eyes as the two flew up where Rubic turned to 3 rings while Graff turned to 3 stars tuning together. Dan grunted over now they are seeing the Synchro part of the Burning Abyss for themselves.

(LV: 3 + 3 = 6)

"Songwriter of the Forbidden Contracts! Transcend from the deepest darkness, and lend me your power! Synchro Summon! Arise level 6! Virgil, Rock Star of the Burning Abyss!"

Raising on the field was a white robed monster wielding a bladed guitar that's orange/yellow decorative with a large black hat having pink feathers on it, while having black cuff sleeves on it's arms, and a pouch on its hip like Dante had. And it has a black, and orange diamond patterned scarf around it as it readied with a grin.

If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Virgil, Rock Star of the Burning Abyss" once per turn.

So this is the Synchro part of the Burning Abyss, Vergil. It doesn't have enough ATK to stand against Lancea, and even if it did, it can't destroy it thanks to, Aquarium Stage. So they wonder what Riley can do with it. Riley then gestured towards D.D. Post. "Now D.D. Post's effect. For every different type of card I have that is currently banished by Monster, Spell, or Trap, every monster on my field gains 300 points." Vergil powered up from the trap with a grin. As she has all three of Monster, Spell, and Trap, Vergil gains the full extent of the trap.

Virgil, Rock Star of the Burning Abyss: (ATK: 2500 + (300 * 3) = 3400)

"So not only did she manage to use Chaos Greed, she also made her monster stronger." Dan spoke impressed seeing this. Riley's strategies with her Burning Abyss cards are odd, but they look like they work really well against her opponents as they can banish themselves for advantages. Although, Lancea is still protected with Aquarium Stage's effect so Vergil can't destroy it.

Not only that...

"Nice monster Riley but I got Lancea's special ability!" Allie called as Lancea charged energy forcing Vergil to move to Defense Position like before.

Virgil, Rock Star of the Burning Abyss: (Defense Position)

"And now come to the field, Dewloran, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier!" Allie revealed another monster as raising up on the field was a white furred tiger having on white/gold decorative armor on its form yowling loudly on the field with a long blue tail having a white tuff at the end with armored cuffs on it's legs.

"Another Synchro Monster..." Zuzu trailed off from this.

Unbothered from this Riley then raised an arm. "I got the special ability of Graff! Since it was sent to the graveyard, I can summon a Burning Abyss from my Deck! Come to the field, Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss!"

A large purple pig-like demon rose up growling on the field having fangs, and curved up like tusks from its mouth. Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss: (ATK: 1600 + (300 * 3) = 2500)

"And then I activate Vergil's special ability!" Riley added revealing a card in her hand which was a second Libic. "By sending 1 Burning Abyss from my hand to the graveyard, I can shuffle a card from your field or graveyard back to your Deck!" Allie blinked as Riley sent the card before then pointing to the biggest threat. "I shuffle back Lancea, Ancestral Dragon of the Ice Mountain!" Vergil did a song solo of his own strumming from his bladed guitar as Lancea roared from the effect being forced off the field from Vergil's effect as Allie stared in shock not managing to stop it. "As Lancea isn't an Aquaactress, Aquarium Stage's effect can't make it immune to monster effects."

"Yeah maybe but thanks to Lancea's special ability since he left the field with your card, I can summon an Ice Barrier Synchro Monster, and it becomes a Synchro Summon!" Allie countered over as she reached for her Extra Deck but her Duel Disk registered an error. "Huh? Error, what am I doing wrong?"

"Your monster was shuffled back Allie, you can't activate the effects of monsters that return to the Deck!" Zuzu called for Allie to know what exactly was going on. "Lancea's effect doesn't activate when he's returned back to the Deck!"

Dan frowned over this. That tidbit of information about Duel Monsters is always a bit confusing sometimes. Yubel in her final duel with Jaden had used Terror Incarnate's effect to summon The Ultimate Nightmare after Rainbow Neos shuffled it back into her Deck but apparently that's against the rules now. There exists a card like Serpentine Princess that can summon a monster if she's shuffled back into the Deck from the field, but unlike something like Lancea, her effect specifically lists that she be returned to the Deck. He still doesn't understand it well enough today how that rule works but knows that unless the cards speak otherwise, the effects of some cards when removed from the field can't activate if returned to the Deck.

"On the other hand, I can get a monster of my own." Allie turned over to Riley who explained to her. "When Libic was sent to the graveyard, its special ability can summon a Level 3 Fiend from my hand but it had to negate it's special abilities. However, I choose not to do that, and instead do this." Taking the card she added with Dante's effect, she activated it. "I activate the Ritual Spell, Good & Evil of the Burning Abyss!" A spell showing Dante on one side as a white image was beside a darkened image of some evil demon.

Good & Evil in the Burning Abyss

Ritual Spell Card

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 6 or more. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard and send 1 "Burning Abyss" monster from your hand to the Graveyard; add 1 "Burning Abyss" card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Good & Evil in the Burning Abyss" once per turn.

"By sacrificing monsters from my field or hand who's level equals 6 or more, I can Ritual Summon!" Riley called, raising her arm as an altar appeared while the graveyard portal opened showing energy gathering giving energy to what's being summoned while Cir, on her field alongside the monster in her field which was a one-handed demon wielding a giant axe being sacrificed.

"Demon Lord of the Forbidden Contracts! I beg thee of you to write your ancient writings to the Dark Contracts, and emerge to lend me your power! Ritual Summon! Level 6, Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss!"

What rose up slowly with his arms crossed around his body this time was a true demonic monster. This demon has several eyes with long horns, and large demonic wings. It also houses large blue plated armor shaped as a bat with its abdomen exposed with teeth on its belt, and the bottom of its armor shaping as a gaping jaw with a skull at the groin area. Along with that is black plated armored leggings with a chained yellow fancy tarp on its waist, and a long tail that is a Draconic demon with no limbs but having horns. Its weapons are two large blue bladed demonic scimitars similar to Skyrim's Daedric Swords with a glowing blue gem. Summoned it uncrossed his arms roaring letting everyone know it's dangerous.

You can Ritual Summon this card with "Good & Evil in the Burning Abyss". Must be Ritual Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can send 1 "Burning Abyss" monster from your hand to the Graveyard, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; until the end of this turn, that target loses ATK and DEF equal to the ATK and DEF of the "Burning Abyss" monster sent to the Graveyard this way. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 card on the field; send it to the Graveyard.

"So that's Malacoda..." Dan trailed off in shock seeing the powerful monster for himself. Otherside 1 other card, this one is almost like the ace of the Burning Abyss Deck, and for good reason. Now he is seeing the card for real, and it really amazes him at seeing the demon for himself. Ritual always fascinated him, and seeing that it houses this kind of monster, really makes him stunned.

Everyone else is also stunned at seeing that Riley can not only Xyz Summon but also Synchro Summon, and Ritual Summon, and this demon on the field looked frightening for some people as they watched this. With Lancea removed from the field, Riley doesn't have to worry about it anymore but Allie's other monsters can't be beaten all that easily due to, Aquarium Stage. Right now her only monster that Riley can attack to deal some damage is Deep Sea Repetiteur, or Dewloren. Although Allie is ready in case she heads after her.

"D.D. Post's effect! Every monster on my field gains points to different types of cards I have banished either Monster, Spell or Trap!" Malacoda roared as it powered up big.

Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss: (ATK: 2700 + (300 * 3) = 3600)

"3600 ATK!" Frederick stared shocked at how strong Riley's monster is now.

"As Cir is sent to the graveyard, I revive Graff from the graveyard in Defense Position!" Graff reemerged in Defense with a growl.

Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss: (Defense Position/ATK: 1000 + (300 * 3) = 1900)

"And now Malacoda, attack, Deep Sea Repetiteur!" Like Allie thought, Riley's Ritual Monster is charging for her weakest Synchro Monster as Malacoda readied his swords slashing all over Deep Dear Repetiteur.

Allie was ready taking her Action Spell. "Okay I activate Miracle!"

Miracle

Action Spell Card

If a monster on the field battles: Target that monster; it cannot be destroyed by that battle, also any battle damage is halved.

"If I use this, my monster can't be destroyed in this battle, and any damage I take in the battle is cut in half!"

While Stage prevented Deep Sea Repetiteur from being destroyed in battle, Allie's goal was reducing the damage as Repetiteur yelled out as she was struck from the strong slashes by Malacoda while Allie raised an arm to brace herself against the damage. (Allie: 2000/Hand: 0) She still has a lot of Life Points but now she has to deal with both a powerful Ritual Monster, and a Synchro Monster at once. Vergil can't attack as thanks to Lancea it was forced to Defense Position before it can not before taking out Lancea with his special ability.

With nothing else Riley just ended her turn with a nod. Now it's Allie's turn again, and against Riley's formation, she should have a hard fight on her hands.

Riley's Hand: 1 (Action Card)/Field: Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss (Attack Position/ATK: 3600), Vergil, Rockstar of the Burning Abyss (Attack Position/ATK: 3400), Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss (Defense Position/ATK: 1900), D.D. Allie 3rd Turn:

Now that it's her turn again Allie sighed. Riley is tougher than she expected... Despite managing to stop most of her assault, Riley managed to fight back while facing some powerful monsters. Really makes Riley the worthy opponent to use her first time with Synchro on. She isn't willing to back down yet, she will continue on, and show Riley she isn't gonna be beaten that easily! When the going gets tough, the tough get dueling! Now it's time to begin! "Okay ladies, and gentlemen it's my turn to start this underworld choir!" Allie checked her drawn card, she smiled before then calling. "Alright I activate the effect of Dewloren! By returning Aquarium's Stage, Set, and Lighting to my hand, Dewloren gains 500 points for each of them!"

All three of her Continuous Spells appeared before vanishing as Dewloren roared gaining power. Of course he loses some as Set was removed from the field.

Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier: (ATK: 2300 - 300 + (500 * 3) = 3500/DEF: 1700 - 300 = 1400)

Deep Sea Repetiteur: (ATK: 2100 - 300 = 1800/DEF: 1800 - 300 = 1500)

Dewdark of the Ice Barrier: (ATK: 1500 - 300 = 1200/DEF: 1100 - 300 = 800)

"And I reactivate Set, Stage, and Lighting!" the three Continuous Spells reappeared on her field as they regained their power quick."And I reactivate Set, Stage, and Lighting!" The three Continuous Spells reappeared on her field as they regained their power quickly.

Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier: (Attack Position/ATK: 3500 + 300 = 3800/DEF: 1400 + 300 = 1700)

Deep Sea Repetiteur: (Attack Position/ATK: 1800 + 300 = 2100/DEF: 1500 + 300 = 1800)

Dewdark of the Ice Barrier: (Defense Position/ATK: 1200 + 300 = 1500/DEF: 800 + 300 = 1100)

"Dewloren is now stronger!" Tate grinned seeing this as they watched with smiles although Dan is sure something is wrong. He looked over and saw Riley didn't look worried.

"And now I activate the spell, Deep Sea Aria!" Allie smiled using a spell revealing Deep Sea Diva performing a signing performance to many WATER monsters which are Sea Serpents.

Deep Sea Aria

Normal Spell Card

Banish 1 WATER monster from your GY; add 1 Level 4 or lower Sea Serpent monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Deep Sea Aria" per turn.

"By banishing a WATER monster in my graveyard, I can take a Sea Serpent that's Level 4 or lower, and add it to my hand!" After pocketing Guppy, Allie searches over her Deck, and takes a card with a smile. "And now I activate Repetiteur's special ability! By sending a WATER monster from my hand to the graveyard, she gains 800 Attack Points! Deep Sea Choir!" Repetiteur proceeds to perform a strong song solo energizing herself.

Deep Sea Repetiteur: (Attack Position/ATK: 2100 + 800 = 2900)

"And now the special ability of the card I discarded activates! When Deep Sea Sentry is sent to the graveyard for the special ability of a WATER monster, a card in your hand is banished until the end of this turn!" Riley blinked as a monster charged in taking Big Escape from Riley's hand, and washing away with it. "Then I switch Dewdark to Attack Position!" Dewdark rose up ready.

Dewdark of the Ice Barrier: (Attack Position)

"And now it's time to battle! Dewloren, attack Malacoda!" The Synchro roared loud as it charged in towards Malacoda who readied itself moving in as Riley ran for an Action Card quickly grabbing it but Malacoda was destroyed before she could use it. (Riley: 2700/Hand: 1 (Action Card))

"She destroyed his Ritual Monster!" Tate grinned seeing that.

"Yeah but..." Dan trailed off knowing what Malacoda could do.

"Malacoda's ability activates." Allie blinked as Riley raised up. "When it goes to the graveyard, one of your cards goes with it." Allie widened her eyes as, Aquarium Stage on her field was ejected from the field heading to the graveyard. That means that Allie can't protect her monsters from destruction anymore.

"No biggie! When, Aquarium Stage is sent to the graveyard, I can summon Tetra back from the graveyard!" Allie countered as her Level 1 rose up bubbling on the field.

Aquaactress Tetra: (Attack Position/ATK: 300 + (600 * 2) = 900/DEF: 300 + (600 * 2) = 900)

"And now Dewdark, attack Vergil!" Dewdark charges in attacking Riley's Synchro Monster, destroying it without trouble.

"Vergil's own effect activates! When he's destroyed, and sent to the graveyard, I draw a card!" Riley draws checking her drawn card.

"Well now here's attack number 3! Tetra attack Graff!" Summoning her cane Tetra swam up above Graff summoning water, and then blasting over Graff destroying it as it roared destroyed while Riley raised an arm not taking damage as Graff was in Defense Position. "With Lighting's effect her points doubled!"

Aquaactress Tetra: (ATK: 900 * 2 = 1800/DEF: 900 * 2 = 1800)

"Riley's wide open!"

"Not yet she's not."

Riley raised up as she confirmed Dan's words. "Graff's effect activates, so now I summon a monster from the Deck! Cir come out!" A second Cir popped out of her Deck growling in Defense.

Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss: (Defense Position/ATK: 1600 + (300 * 3) = 2500)

Frowning seeing this Allie pointed ahead. "Repetiteur attack Cir!" Her first Synchro charged in firing water music notes attacking all over Cir as it roared destroyed while Riley grunted from this.

"When Cir is destroyed, I revive a Burning Abyss from my graveyard." Riley stated as Vergil rose back onto the field with a grin not done yet.

Virgil, Rock Star of the Burning Abyss: (Attack Position/ATK: 2500 + (300 * 3) = 3400)

"And during Main Phase 2, I activated D.D. Post's effect to banish Chaos Greed from my graveyard, and return Scram from banishment to my Deck." Riley takes a banished card shuffling it into her Deck before removing Chaos Greed from her graveyard pocketing it.

"Well I use Tetra's ability to take another Stage to my hand." Allie's Deck shuffled as she add the card before then revealing it. "Then I activate it back onto the field!" The spell appeared back onto the field.

Aquarium Stage: (face-up)

"Okay. I'll see what I can do!" Allie grinned raising an arm as Repetiteur grinned letting out harmonizing solos while Dewloren growled softly as they raised up. "Level 5 Deep Sea Repetiteur tune with Level 5 Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier to bring back Lancea, Ancestral Dragon of the Ice Mountain!" The tuning continued while everyone watched, shocked as Repetiteur turned to 5 Tuning Rings while Dewloren turned to 5 stars.

(LV: 5 + 5 = 10)

Who rose onto the field wasn't Lancea, it was instead a different monster, a woman that's large in size. She's white with ice all around her with a large green gem on her forehead almost like an eye while parts of ice act as her dress with clear ice around her arms, waist, and stockings and some kind of limbs behind her on her back acting like pinchers and having long fingers. She in fact looked like an ice God.

"Huh?" Allie blinked in confusion expecting Lancea but she got this instead. "Why is Gymir Aegirine summoned? I meant to summon Lancea."

"Allie, you can only summon Aqua monsters when you use an Aquarium's effect to summon back a monster." Zuzu spoke to her to explain what had happened while she stared at Gymir Aegirine stunned from her looks, and power. "Though wow, that monster sure is something else."

"Yeah something else indeed..." Yuya agreed staring over.

"Oh oopsie. I'm so used to summoning all the time when I use that as I used to have only Aqua monsters." Once she realized her mistake Allie made a sheepish smile look before then looking back. "Alright, even if Lancea isn't here, Gymir Aegirine is here for the last act of our underwater performance! I end my turn, and that means the card Sentry's effect banished earlier goes back to your hand. But you can only have 1 Action Card at a time in your hand. So what will you keep?"

Big Escape appeared back in Riley's hand as she stared at it, and her other Action Card before taking Big Escape from her hand slipping it in her graveyard.

Riley 3rd Turn:

"My turn now, I draw." Riley checked her drawn card is Heavy Storm. Seeing it she looked back above where Declan, and the woman are staring expecting great things from her. She is to be their perfect soldier, and one of the strongest of the Lancers against Duel Academy, and now against this type of opponent is her time to prove that. She looked back towards Allie saying to her. "I admit Allie this duel had been a blast... but I'm afraid the show's over." Allie blinks as Riley reveals the spell. "I activated the spell card, Heavy Storm!" A spell showing a large tornado blasting away a farm appeared.

Heavy Storm

Normal Spell Card

Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field.

"Heavy Storm!?" Dan recognizes that card. It's a really powerful card that not many Duelists used as it has a rather powerful destruction effect like Dark Hole although this one is aimed at. "That thing destroys every Spell and Trap Card on their field!"

"What!? That'll destroy your own cards too, and weaken them!" Allie argued as a large storm erupted to destroy everything.

"Yes, but I did all I can with them. First I chain Heavy Storm with D.D. Post's effect, and banish Big Escape from the graveyard to return Barbar to my Deck!" After all of that Heavy Storm blew all throughout the field, and wiped out not only Riley's D.D. Post, and Escape from the Dark Dimension but also all three of Allie's Aquarium cards. "Now as both our cards to give our monsters strength are no longer in play, they lose some points."

Aquaactress Tetra: (ATK: 900 - (300 * 2) = 300/DEF: 900 - (300 * 2) = 300)

Dewdark of the Ice Barrier: (ATK: 1500 - 300 = 1300/DEF: 1100 - 300 = 800)

Virgil, Rock Star of the Burning Abyss: (Attack Position/ATK: 3400 - (300 * 3) = 2500)

"And I activate the effect of Good & Evil in my graveyard! By banishing both this card, and sending 1 Burning Abyss from my hand to the graveyard, I can take a Burning Abyss monster from my Deck, and add it to my hand." Riley checks her Deck, adding a card while discarding a card, and banishing Good & Evil. Taking her selected card she then pointed over. "And I activate Vergil's special ability! I discard the Farfa, I just added to shuffle a card back from your field, or graveyard back to your Deck!"

"Hang on a sec, I activate Gymir Aegirine's special ability! For the rest of this turn, all my monsters can't be destroyed and banished by your special abilities!" Gymir Aegirine glowed bright, forming a barrier before she's sent back to the Deck due to Vergil's effect.

Aquaactress Tetra: (Cannot be destroyed by an opponent's card effect/Cannot be banished by an opponent's card effect)

Dewdark of the Ice Barrier: (Cannot be destroyed by an opponent's card effect/Cannot be banished by an opponent's card effect)

'So now Farfa can't banish them. It doesn't matter though.' Riley thought before pointing ahead. "Well now Vergil, attack Aquaactress Tetra!" Tetra braced herself nervously as Vergil readied an attack moving in as Allie ran over quickly finding an Action Card, and grabbed it using it. "I activate Evasion! This negates the attack!"

Evasion

Action Spell Card

When a monster declares an attack: Target that monster; negate the attack.

"I don't think so!" Riley activates her own Action Spell. "I activate the Action Spell, No Action!" An Action Spell showing of the Action Spell "A" breaking apart with an x.

No Action

Action Spell Card

Negate the activation and the effect of an Action Spell Card, and if you do, destroy it.

"So now the Action Spell you try to use gets negated, and destroyed." Allie widened her eyes as Evasion shattered without taking effect. Dan himself grunted over. So there exists Action Spells that can cancel moves like No Action which means it'll be more challenging with that in place. "Which means the attack is still happening!" Vergil moved in attacking with a single solo blasting Tetra all over as she yelled out, destroying pushing Allie back who yelled out landing nearby on her back while Riley sighed gently to herself.

Allie: 0000

Hand: 0

Field: Dewdark of the Ice Barrier (Attack Position/Cannot be destroyed by an opponent's card effect/Cannot be banished by an opponent's card effect)

Riley: 2900

Hand: 1 (Action Card)

Field: Vergil, Rockstar of the Burning Abyss (Attack Position)

Riley wins!

Both Allies parents were staring at the field shocked out of their minds. Their daughter... lost, even after all of that? She managed to Synchro Summon several times, managed to constantly evade Riley's moves against her powerful Burning Abyss cards, and even managed to summon 2 Level 10 Synchros in two turns in a row.

They turned over towards Skip who looked stumped himself with a nervous grin on his face eyes shadowed over. "Don't worry, folks! Allie will bounce back from this quicker than a kangaroo on a trampoline!"

Allie slowly rose up sitting up but sees something which she looks up seeing Riley stepped in front of her. They stared at each other for several seconds while Yuya, and the others who were approaching Allie stopped seeing this wondering what is up. Riley stares silently before she offers a hand towards Allie who stares surprised before reaching, taking it as Riley helps her up off the ground.

"You're a good duelist. I haven't expected you to use Synchro Summoning, and you managed to keep up with me for this long. I didn't think I had any fun in this match." Riley admitted over towards Allie before she gave a slight smile. "We should do this again sometime." Allie blinked before she smiled over Riley nodding as they shook hands with each other. Even after Allie lost, if she had fun the entire time they all won. She might be out of the Arc-League now, but she is sure that as long as they have fun, they will all win in the end. Allie will accept a rematch, and duel Riley again next time if the chance arises. Thanks to that she doesn't feel all that bad about losing anymore, as that reminded her that dueling is about having fun.

"Riley, you must be thrilled." Riley looked blank again as Joy approached over to her intending for an interview. "Tell us all about those moves." Riley just didn't answer, turning, and walked away while Joy sweatdrop started over as Riley walked towards Dan before she looked at him.

"Oh here." Remembering something Dan softly hands beary to Riley with a soft smile. "Kept him safe for you the whole time, he was with me." Riley takes beary gently as Dan smiles towards her. "Your Deck, and strategies were incredible. I never expected for anyone to be able to use Chaos Greed, I thought nobody could. But you proved me wrong. I can't wait to see what would happen if we duel each other."

"Thank you." While having a slight blush at her crush complimenting her, Riley bowed and walked past Dan over towards Declan who didn't look at it but he was quite proud of her as he patted her head gently. Although Riley won the duel like in his, and their mother's expectations, Declan is still interested into Allie managing to pull all those Synchro moves off. He wonders what else she must be hiding but one thing is certain, if Dan lends cards to Allie, and she already used them in this way, then he is interested over what Tate, and Frederick can do.

"Losing any duel in the tournament is bad enough, but losing to Leo is the worst." Skip looked dejected at You Show's first duel in their war in the tournament against the Leo Institute ended in defeat. Especially after they had made quite an impression with Allie using Synchro Summoning like how she had displayed.

"Don't worry, I'll even the score with them and that's a promise." Zuzu spoke up. She still has her duel with Julia coming up sometime soon, and she will make sure she will avenge Allie's defeat against Leo that way. After her match with Declan she feels confident that what she has against Julia will be enough, especially since she has Pendulum, and Fusion together. "I'm facing a Leo Duelist in the first round, too. When I'm done with Julia, she'll be 0-for-1!"

Feeling inspired by his daughter, Skip smiled with a clenched fist. "You're a chip off the old block, Zuzu!"

While they looked excited for the coming match with Zuzu, and Julia up ahead Dan was smiling but he turned back towards Riley who is calmly talking with Declan about the duel. The Burning Abyss cards are already a powerful Deck of their own right, but Riley manages to use them in ways that Dan never imagined like managing to use Chaos Greed, and Heavy Storm together while also doing moves to prevent her opponents from using their best cards. He knows when the time comes for him to duel Riley, it'll be quite a battle to look forward too. Now he, Tate, and Frederick are the ones representing You Show in the Junior Youth Division, and they intend to go in as far as they can. But against someone like Riley, and his own opponent, Hector, that won't be easy. Well he has three words to say about this challenge:

Bring. It. On!

I at first wasn't thinking of including the Deep Sea series into Allie's Deck but Ulrich had suggested it to me since they fit Allie's Deck theme otherside from Aquaactresses. And I also founded out some cards that can assist like Yamakako Orochi, Lancea, Ancestral Dragon of the Ice Mountain, and Icejade Gymir Aegirine also. Allie will use custom Aquaactress Synchros in the future but at this point as it's a new part of her Deck she is using cards that already exist in it's place, and Graydle Dragon is included don't worry about that.

Riley's own Deck, the Burning Abyss is still as powerful as I remembered despite this long away. A slight trivia, their original name is Afterlife, and it already exists on a card named Emissary of the Afterlife, I guess it's to avoid confusion on the names why they received a name change. And as you seen Chaos Greed, the two drawer that almost never gets used was just used in the match. Otherside an anime card that's neat, Card from a Different Dimension, Chaos Greed is such a good situational card as it's able to use your cards being banished but held back from having your graveyard being empty which Riley managed to solve with D.D. Post, a recent card of the D.D. series.

Anyways things happened, and finished as normal with Riley defeating Allie despite all Allie had brought, and now next would be a rematch of Fusion Foes! We will see what Zuzu after defeating Declan can do against her rival Julia. Be sure to ask questions, and be sure to review!
