Reviews from previous chapter:
Ulrich362:
Yeah, I agree Allie. The two of you will be amazing friends.
As for this chapter, Clever for Ron to shift to an offensive strategy in combination with deck-out... the sixty card deck will definitely help him stay one step ahead of his opponents and make him harder to defeat. I sort of see where Sylvio is coming from though as it's not the traditional way of winning but alternative victory conditions require a different strategy and being able to adapt to what your opponent is doing is the sign of a skilled duelist. The mention of the King of Games, Yugi Muto himself, was a an interesting detail too. And I agree completely with Julia and Kit on those cards... they really ruin the fun of a duel. Though poor Hector, they mean well but I don't think Dipper and Kit will be the best with romantic advice, but I think Julia might reciprocate, fingers crossed for him. Oh wow... bringing out the "I beat Declan" card, Zuzu's really trying to show she's improved even before the match starts... though it doesn't look like Julia believes her so she'll have to prove it through her actions in the duel. Declan also has a good point, this is going to be a very intense match since Zuzu might have beaten him (Admittedly she had good luck and could have ended up losing the duel but a win is a win), but Julia is a masterful fusion duelist so it really can go either way. And Julia's starting off strong with Master Diamond Dispersion, that's definitely a powerful monster for Julia to open the duel with. And Zuzu counters with her own Fusion Summon, bringing out Schuberta, not bad. Of course Julia counters with three Fusion Monsters thanks to Dispersion so she's still in a strong position even if Schuberta has the most attack points. Yup, saw that coming... Julia has some powerful fusion cards and some are traps... so Lady Brilliant Diamond makes her debut in the duel and with 3400 points Schuberta isn't powerful enough to deal any damage. Detour saved Schuberta but at the moment Julia has the advantage... though her advantage isn't super strong so Zuzu could turn things around. Julia's very skilled, using her deck's Gemini monster to take an every stronger advantage in the duel and managing to combo Brilliant Rose with Lady Brilliant Diamond to bring out Master Diamond. This duel is swinging heavily in Julia's favor. Oh, very nice Sora... nice reference there. Oh, Evasion backfired in a big way Zuzu... now you're staring at two incredibly powerful Gem-Knights who both have over 4000 ATK, and Master Diamond inflicts piercing damage too thanks to its ability. At least Schuberta's ATK is high enough you can survive but still... Pinpoint Guard, that was way too close, and with Brilliant Diamond not having a piercing effect Zuzu survived the turn... but she's in a really bad position right now, it'll take a miracle to turn things around. Fusion Substitute helping her get Crystal Rose will definitely help Zuzu, and De-Fusion might be the key to her victory if she uses it right. Oh crap, bad time for a flashback Julia... thank goodness Sonata was able to catch her before the worst happened. Though oh boy... if Julia told the others about her memories things are going to get much more chaotic to say the least. The lack of any memories of Yuya or Zuzu's birth will definitely make things more complicated for everyone but Ray and Dan... though Julia challenging Yuya to a duel here? I didn't see that one coming but well... sorry Yuya I think Julia might have you beat... you're good but Julia is too. Incredible chapter, looking forward to the update.
Okay here are the questions:
Questions 1 & 2 Ulrich362:
(To Yuya & Julia)
Oh, and question of the chapter: Well I think it's pretty obvious now.
Which one of you has the edge in this upcoming duel? I can say that I feel like Julia has a powerful advantage and honestly could OTK you Yuya.
Yuya: Yeah Julia probably has the edge on it. I have Pendulum Summoning, and learn how to use Fusion against Aura but Julia's really strong.
Julia: Same, he's strong but so am I.
(To Kit & Dipper)
As for a secondary question, Kit and Dipper... what do you think of what Julia revealed to you?
Dipper: That Declan had our memories wiped? I don't understand why Declan would do something like that we known Julia long enough to know she wouldn't lie about something like that.
Kit: Case simply, we semi-believe it. We know Julia wouldn't lie, but we are also not sure if Declan really does do that. More confused about what was going on if we really were after Shay like she told us.
Back everyone, and with a two duel chapter like the few weeks ago. Although, the first duel will be quite short since from discussing things will be a chance for someone to learn some things, and that it doesn't change anything no matter who wins. So the match between Julia, and Yuya is short but it will be a learning experience for all of us. Meanwhile, we will get onto a match I been waiting on which is where we can see Hector in action. And we can also see what kind of new abilities Dan's evolved Decks can do here.
Summary: The duel between Yuya, and Julia didn't take long where Yuya sees several weaknesses within Pendulum Summoning striving him to try improving. But then Dan, and Hector's duel has began where Dan wonders what he can do against the power of a truly dedicated Ritual Duelist becoming surprised in Hector's tactics. But Dan surprises Hector back as with his new Decks that he had trained with Ray, he displayed new tactics that they never seen Dan used before. While Dan has new tactics, and abilities, Hector has plenty of surprises using the power of Destruction and Creation on his side.
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! as a whole but I own any OCs! ENJOY!
Date: 4/13/25
Now Yuya, and Julia had gathered onto a dueling area nearby sometime before the next match of the Arc-League. They aren't sure what Julia is on about but Yuya knows that Julia won't take no for an answer. What does she mean by Yuya having some answers? Of course, those who are familiar with Yuto know exactly what she means exactly. They think that because Yuya has the same face as Yuto he might know something about this, but Zuzu, and the others do know that it can't be possible as Yuya never exactly knew Yuto, or Shay before when they showed up.
Well right now doesn't matter, as they are ready to watch this match. Yuya is a strong duelist as he has used the powers of Pendulum Summoning, and Fusion thanks to his duel with Aura but Julia is a Master of Fusion Summoning, and can use it quite effectively. This'll be quite a match here as they will see.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Yuya asked her if she's sure about this. Never hurts to ask.
"Course, I am." Julia readied herself before they drew their hands.
"LET'S DUEL!"
Yuya: 4000
Julia: 4000
Yuya 1st Turn:
"Okay, I'll be first!" Yuya called before taking a card. "And I will start with Pendulum Call!"
Pendulum Call
Normal Spell Card
Discard 1 card; add 2 "Magician" Pendulum Monsters with different names from your Deck to your hand, also, until the end of your opponent's next turn after this card resolves, "Magician" cards in your Pendulum Zones cannot be destroyed by card effects. You can only activate 1 "Pendulum Call" per turn. You cannot activate this card if you activated a "Magician" monster's Pendulum Effect this turn.
"I send a card from my hand to the graveyard, so I can take 2 Magicians to my hand from my Deck!" Yuya takes the cards, adding them to his hand before then showing them Timegazer, and Stargazer. "Next I activate Scale 1 Stargazer Magician, and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum Scale! I'm taking control of this duel starting now!" Placing the cards the rainbow word PENDULUM appeared on his Duel Disk as Stargazer, and Timegazer rose together on both of his sides, raising up ready for Pendulum Summoning.

Stargazer Magician
DARK
Level 5
Pendulum Scale: 1
Spellcaster/Effect/Pendulum
ATK: 1200
DEF: 2400
Pendulum Effect: If a Pendulum Monster you control battles, your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards until the end of the Damage Step. Unless you have a "Magician" card or "Odd-Eyes" card in your other Pendulum Zone, this card's Pendulum Scale becomes 4.
Monster Effect: Once per turn, when exactly 1 other Pendulum Monster you control (and no other cards) is returned to your hand by an opponent's card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon 1 monster from your hand with the same name as that returned to the hand.
(Pendulum)
Timegazer Magician
DARK
Level 3
Pendulum Scale: 8
Spellcaster/Effect/Pendulum
ATK: 1200
DEF: 600
Pendulum Effect: You must control no monsters to activate this card. If a Pendulum Monster you control battles, your opponent cannot activate Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. Unless you have a "Magician" card or "Odd-Eyes" card in your other Pendulum Zone, this card's Pendulum Scale becomes 4.
Monster Effect: Each turn, the first card(s) in your Pendulum Zone that would be destroyed by an opponent's card effect, is not destroyed.
"So now I can summon monsters between 2, and 7 all at the same time!" Yuya declared while Julia stared unafraid.
"Swing, pendulum of souls! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Appear now! My monsters!"
The Pendulum Portal formed before four lights exited down.
"Appear! Wondrous and beautiful dichromatic eyes! Pendulum Summon! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Lowering down was Yuya's ace with glowing eyes roaring loudly onto the field.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon
DARK
Level 7
Pendulum Scale: 4
Dragon/Effect/Pendulum
ATK: 2500
DEF: 2000
Pendulum Effect: You can reduce the battle damage you take from an attack involving a Pendulum Monster you control to 0. During your End Phase: You can destroy this card, and if you do, add 1 Pendulum Monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each Pendulum Effect of "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" once per turn.
Monster Effect: If this card battles an opponent's monster, any battle damage this card inflicts to your opponent is doubled.
"Get set to it, Performapal Bit Bite Turtle!"
The second monster was some type of turtle. It's a yellow body with red tips on its feet with a large purple shell, and some type of feather-like tail that's light blue, and dark blue. In keeping the theme of performers it has a red star on it's left cheek, and a blue star on it's right cheek with yellow stars in it's green eyes, and a hot pink/light pink polka dot bow tie around its shell, and a blue top hat with a yellow ribbon.

Pendulum Scale: 3
Reptile/Effect/Pendulum
ATK: 800

Pendulum Effect: Once per turn: You can reveal 1 "Performapal" or "Odd-Eyes" monster in your hand, and if you do, reduce the Levels of monsters in your hand with that name by 1 for the rest of this turn (even after they are Summoned/Set, and even if this card leaves the field).
Monster Effect: When this card is destroyed by battle: You can destroy the monster that destroyed it.
"Bring in some hypnosis, Performapal Whip Snake!"
The third monster was one of the first Performapals he had used in the canon anime. It's a purple cobra like snake with an orange star on it's right cheek, and a lighter purple star on it's left cheek. It's wearing the same kind of top hat like Bit Bite Turtle but has a yellow, and red polka dot bowtie with a green cuff on its tail with a heart like monocle on its tip.

Once per turn, during either player's Main Phase: You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; switch its current ATK and DEF until the end of this turn.
"Bring on some cheer, Performapal Cheermole!"
The last monster was a mole-like monster that's also a cheerleader. She has brown fur with red hair in a cowlick that is held together by a pink, and yellow polka dot bow on it, she is also wearing a cheerleader outfit that's green with yellow bows on it down the front while the area is also white while also yellow in some places alongside the skirt with some kind of pink clothing down below. Despite her profession as a cheerleader she looks like the shy type as evident by hiding her face in her blue pom-poms.

Level 2
Pendulum Scale: 5
Beast/Effect/Pendulum
ATK: 800
DEF: 1200
Pendulum Effect: All Pendulum Monsters you control gain 300 ATK.
Monster Effect: You can target 1 monster whose current ATK is different from its original ATK; apply the appropriate effect. You can only use this effect of "Performapal Cheermole" once per turn.
● If that monster's current ATK is higher than its original ATK, it gains 1000 ATK.
● If that monster's current ATK is lower than its original ATK, it loses 1000 ATK.
"Four monsters!" Tate cheered seeing this, that Yuya is in a pretty good position.
With Odd-Eyes, Yuya can double any damage that it deals in battle while Bit Bite Turtle destroys any monster that destroys it in battle, Cheermole, and Whip Snake both can manipulate ATK to make them weaker or stronger. And both Timegazer, and Stargazer together can shut down Julia's Spell or Trap cards which means Julia will be unable to land a powerful attack onto Yuya at once. He's in a good position here.
Although Dan, and Sora both can feel something odd as Julia doesn't look worried as she watches. Ray herself also looks concerned since she is seeing the evolved form of Zarc's original dragon, and that Julia still looks confident despite all of that. They will have to see what she has in mind because otherwise, they aren't sure why she looks so confident. She can perform powerful Fusion Summons, and all but from what Yuya has, it doesn't look like it can help.
(Cue Theme: Can You Feel The Power)
Hey! Hey!
Can you Feel the Power!?
You vs. me competition for the victory, (Wull!)
I could be the best one day and make history. (Go!)
Swing into action, are you ready to play? (Go!)

You wanna take a chance? Go ahead and roll the dice. (Ok!)
See if it's in your cards, if you'll pay the price. (Wull!)
Activate the Spell, let your powers come to life. (Go!)
It's showtime, who will win the fight? (Wow!)
I'm ready to duel, go ahead and make your move.

Your turn, your tricks,
Now what will you choose?
Can you feel the power!?
Julia 1st Turn:
"Lots of monsters... that works for me!" Julia drew, taking a look. Seeing the kind of hand she has she grins to herself. "I will start by discarding Gem-Knight Quartz from my hand! Since you have a monster out on the field, I can discard this card in order to set a Fusion Continuous Spell from my Deck to my field!" She discards the card before taking a card, and placing it face-down. "It won't stay set for long cause I'm activating it! Brilliant Fusion!" The spell she placed shows the same Gem-Knights as Gem-Knight Fusion on it onto the field but looks more exotic of flawless gemstones or polishing them.
(face-up)
Brilliant Fusion
Continuous Spell Card
When this card is activated: Fusion Summon 1 "Gem-Knight" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your Deck as Fusion Material, but change its ATK/DEF to 0. If this card leaves the field, destroy that monster. Once per turn: You can discard 1 Spell; the monster Special Summoned by this card's effect gains ATK/DEF equal to its original ATK/DEF, until the end of your opponent's turn. You can only activate 1 "Brilliant Fusion" per turn.
"Whenever I activate this card, I can Fusion Summon 1 Gem-Knight from my Extra Deck by using monsters from my Deck!" Yuya blinked as Julia digs three cards from her Deck. "So I'll fuse these three together! Gem-Knights Tourmaline, Lazuli, and Obsidian!" The three mentioned monsters rose up fusing together.
"Gem tinged with lightning! Sharp jet-black darkness! Join together with the blue gem and disburse into flawless gems! Fusion Summon! Supreme radiance who facilitates gems! Level 9! Gem-Knight Master Diamond Dispersion!"

During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can send this card to the GY; Special Summon up to 3 non-Rock "Gem-" monsters with different names from your Extra Deck and/or GY, ignoring their Summoning conditions, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Fusion Monsters. When your "Gem-Knight" Fusion Monster is destroyed by battle while this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of "Gem-Knight Master Diamond Dispersion" once per turn.
Brilliant Fusion: (Gem-Knight Master Diamond Dispersion)
"It's the Master Diamond that Julia used on me first!" Zuzu sees the monster, and remembers it's powerful abilities before they notice something. Specifically ATK & DEF.
Gem-Knight Master Diamond Dispersion: (ATK: 0/DEF: 0)
"Whenever I use Brilliant Fusion to summon a monster, it loses its Attack Points, and Defense Points." Julia explains why its points are missing. "But that doesn't matter to me here! Because during my Main Phase, I can send this card to the graveyard to summon 3 Gem-Knights from my Extra Deck that aren't Rocks different from each other under the condition, I can't summon anything else from the Extra Deck but Fusion Monsters for the rest of the turn! So split apart, Diamond Dispersion!" The large monster glowed, splitting apart into the three monsters. "So I'll bring out Gem-Knights Amethyst, Seraphinite, and Topaz!"
The first of the monsters that was formed was Topaz wielding his backhanded scythes onto the field.

The second monster was a plated purple armored knight with a long red bang on the helmet flowing at the back alongside a circle decoration at the top. It also has an amethyst at the chest, and some parts of the armor with it being a large shield of a vortex design. "I recognized one of them but not the two others." Frederick admitted seeing the other two that Julia summoned alongside Topaz. Quite obvious that Julia has hidden other cards besides the other things, and she managed to summon them with only 1 card in her hand? Total powerful front. But none of them have enough ATK against Odd-Eyes or can deal piercing damage. Still Yuya is ready for whatever she can do here, although he can't shake the feeling something is wrong.
"And next I activate Gem-Knight Fusion!" Julia reveals a second spell in her hand.
Gem-Knight Fusion
Normal Spell Card
Fusion Summon 1 "Gem-Knight" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or your side of the field as Fusion Materials. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can banish 1 "Gem-Knight" monster from your Graveyard; add this card to your hand.
"I fuse monsters from my hand or field to summon a Gem-Knight!" Julia takes two cards showing them as a second Lapis alongside Amber as they rose fusing together. "And I'll use these two from my hand!" She spread her arms as the Fusion Summoning was happening.
"The blue stone that hides mysterious power! Gem touched by fire! Now, become light and appear! Fusion Summon! Level 5! Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli!"
Raising onto the field was Lady Lapis Lazuli ready alongside her other three Gem-Knights.

"Gem-Knight Lapis" + 1 "Gem-Knight" monster
Must first be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials. You can only Special Summon "Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli(s)" once per turn. Once per turn: You can send 1 "Gem-Knight" monster from your Main Deck or Extra Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each Special Summoned monster on the field.
"Why'd she summoned that? Its Attack Points are not strong enough." Allie looked over wondering what she was up too.
Sylvio just smirked as he watched. "Just wait, the real show is about to start. And it'll be curtains already before you are aware."
Hearing that they saw Julia has four powerful Fusion Monsters on her field, the same number of monsters as Yuya although none of their ATK has matched or exceed Odd-Eyes. Plus she would've used Gem-Knight Fusion to summon Master Diamond or Lady Brilliant Diamond to use Dispersion's effect like how she had done in her match against Zuzu. So what exactly is she doing here?
"Pendulum Summoning is powerful Yuya, however it has given me a grand advantage." Julia spoke with a smirk to Yuya who blinked before then calling. "And I activate Lady Lapis Lazuli's special ability! I send 1 Gem-Knight from my Deck or Extra Deck to the graveyard! In return, I can blast you with 500 points of damage for every Special Summoned monster that's present on the field!"
"Say what!?" Yuya blinked, shocked now realizing what Julia is up to. She was planning on swarming her field so that the damage that her monster can deal will be maximized so she wouldn't need to attack! Plus as Pendulum Summoning counts as Special Summoning and it summons multiple monsters it also helps her as well to have Lady Lapis Lazuli deal large amounts of damage at once!
"Wait, there are 4 monsters on their fields each, so that's 8! How much damage does that go to?" Tate starts to make multiplication at seeing how much damage that would be with all of that.
"Exactly 4000 points." Sora answered as Lapis Lazuli charges an energy blast. "And with nothing on his field to lower the damage, it's safe to say this is Julia's." Safe to say are the right words because Lapis Lazuli finished charging energy blasting at Yuya who appeared shocked before being struck yelling out dropping down on a knee while the cards on the field vanished upon the duel's ending.
Yuya: 0000
Winner Julia.
"Yuya lost?" Zuzu looked shocked seeing this while they stared stunned from this. Julia had used a strategy that used Yuya's greatest strength into a weakness for him. He had been prepared for any type of attack against Julia but she ended up using a tactic that what he uses wouldn't stop. If she was able to do that, then that would mean Pendulum Duelists would be placed into a huge disadvantage against her. If Zuzu had Pendulum Summoned against her, she would use that against them.
Yuya meanwhile was staring down at the ground in shock. He lost, and his usual strategy had been turned against him from Julia exploiting Pendulum Summoning to her advantage. He didn't think she would try that. Hearing something he looked up where Julia walked in front of him looking at him. "Guess now we see that if we had dueled each other, I would win." She then closed her eyes with a grin. "If I could use Pendulum Summoning like that, then your technique needs some improvement. So that no others would manage to do that." Julia opened her eyes as Yuya raised up to his feet. "So try not to make it as easy as I would when you use Pendulum Summoning."
Yuya stares before he looks over at Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's card. For a long time, he, and Odd-Eyes had always fought side by side together, and fought a lot of battles against powerful opponents but this was the first time anyone had used their signature technique against them. Maybe he should try finding some tactics, they can use to avoid a second time like this from happening against people who can use Pendulum Summoning against them. But how exactly can they better protect Pendulum Summoning from anything like that? The road won't be easy but Yuya can feel maybe there is a way.
Suddenly Gong, seeing the time, widened his eyes. "Oh my goodness!" They looked at him before he spoke to them. "Little D's match is supposed to start in 2 minutes!"
Widening their eyes they looked over to see on the clock, the next match like Gong said is supposed to start within 2 minutes.
"Well now, Little Hector, it's your time to shine. Try to do better than your girlfriend alright?" Sylvio started to walk away with a smirk after saying that.
Hearing this Hector froze before he turned over blushing. "No, Sylvio she's not my-!" Seeing Sylvio just ignoring him he sighed, rubbing his head before feeling a pat on his back seeing Dipper grinning towards him, and Kit giving a thumbs up. They are wishing him luck. Seeing this he gently smiled, feeling a pat on his head looking, and seeing Julia grinned at him while he blushed looking down shyly.
"Now it's your turn Dan." Skip grinned over towards their recent duelist while everyone smiled at him. "Show everyone the kind of skill that those from You Show Duel School have against that Leo Student!"
"Uh, sure." Dan sweat drops with a small smile at how excited Skip is. Now is the time for him to duel, and represent You Show for the Arc-League. And also time to show everyone the results of his training with Ray. He wonders what kind of duelist Hector is, and how his Deck can manage against a Ritual Duelist like him. He doesn't have a Ritual based Deck as there are hardly any Ritual Decks that are dragon based, or based like how he likes it. Alright time to head in, and duel! Even Ray is counting on him.
"Alright everyone! For our duel for the day, we have a special up and coming match!" Nico announced to the excited crowd. You Show, and the LID Quintet are both seated down to watch this while Hector, and Dan are waiting when they will be allowed inside. "First we have the most recent addition of the You Show Duel School, a young man driven with a passion who uses powerful dragons with surprising tactics! He's strong, he's tough, and he's got quite a bite! Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to welcome Dan Kizami!"
Hearing this Dan takes a breath walking into the duel field where everyone cheered seeing him as he looked around feeling a little intimidated seeing this many people. He had competed in some tournaments but nothing of this magnitude. That's a big deal for you, they are always so large. Feeling something he turned, seeing Ray smiling to him which he smiled back looking around. He also sees Ron, Garret, Ricardo, and Elijah all together with their schools staring at him wondering what he can do in this match. Also seeing Declan staring at him expectantly with the woman, and Riley.
With this Dan takes a breath to calm down, and ready himself for this match.
"And then, let us introduce his opponent! He is from the Leo Institute, and while he's young, he knows his stuff! He's the youngest person of the self-named LID Quintet of the students of the Leo Institute who uses the different summon methods, and he is skilled at using one such method despite it not being used often! Let us welcome, Hector Belmont!"
Hector walked into the field looking over at Dan, Duel Disk armed, and ready. Everyone cheered for him too while Kit, Dipper, Sylvio, and Julia all together watched this match. Despite Julia being eliminated already, it didn't shake their will to show themselves as powerful duelists within the Leo Institute as the best of the different summon methods. And now Hector will show them the kind of potential his method of Ritual will use against a strong duelist such as Dan. He also sees the woman staring at him which Hector gulped. 'Henrietta is looking at me like that again... Well this is my chance to show her I can do this.' He takes a breath to calm down. There are very few students who refer to the woman, Henrietta, by her name. Hector is one of those students.
"And now let us see what kind of Action Field these two would be against!" The Action Field sphere appeared above them selecting an Action Field before it then stopped revealing the Field. "And we are in a special kind of field, everyone! Let us welcome ourselves into the space area of Moonbase!"
"Augmented reality combat system energized. Generating Action Field."
From around them they appear on some type of large base onto a moon with ring-like areas with space all around them as if they are onto a hi-tech facility on the moon.
Moonbase
Action Field Card
You can use Action Cards, but you can only have 1 Action Card in your hand.
"Oh wow..." Dan looked around amazed seeing this kind of Action Field. He was never much of a space person but he does appreciate seeing space like fields, or decks that happen around here. And seeing this does excite him. What better way than to duel on what seemed like the moon to showcase what he can do now? He then turned over towards Hector who is staring. "Good luck! And have fun!"
"Same to you." Hector nodded back with a soft smile before he then began the Action Duel Chant. "Duelists locked in battle!"
"Kicking the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters!" Dan added over with a grin while he, and Hector prepared their Duel Disks.
"They storm through this field!" they added while their backs are to each other.
"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" Nico started on while raising his hand to snap his fingers.
"ACTION-" You Show, and the LID Quintet added over with grins, smiles, or smirks at seeing this.
"DUEL!" Like usual the Action Sphere Field broke apart scattering Action Cards all around the Action Field.

"So what Deck do you guys think Dan will use this time?" Zuzu asked everyone with her wondering what Deck, Dan will be using at this match. After that close card with Shay, and having Yuto's card, she wonders if he had built his Deck to better be prepared against stronger Duelists like them after he was beaten by 2 Xyzians. Although, she can sense something is different about him this time, but she can't exactly tell. It's hard to tell what is different this time, like... she had assisted him in Deck Building but why is that?
"Hard to say. His Decks are all strong, so it's tough to figure out which one's the best." Yuya admitted to her while watching. He is also interested in what Dan will do against a Ritual Specialist like Hector, so either of Dan's Deck will be placed a hard challenge. "And we don't know what this Hector guy can do since he wasn't present at the School Duels."
"Well, I'm confident Dan won't let that bother him. He's probably got the element of surprise by his side. Hector doesn't know what his Decks can do, so that's something back at him." Sora spoke with a grin believing this will be child's play for Dan. Although he doesn't know what Hector can do, he can tell this will be quite a match to see. So they all decided to pay attention, and see for themselves.
Dan 1st Turn:
"Okay, I'll be going first!" Dan grinned at Hector checking his cards out. He had selected his changed Red Dragon Archfiend Deck for this. Seeing the kind of hand he has which involves Polymerization, Photon Thrasher, Photon Jumper, Tuning Gum, and Synchro Transmission, he nodded grinning. "Okay, I will start with this. Polymerization!" The spell appeared on his field.
Polymerization

Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Material.
"And thanks to this, I can Fusion Summon as long as I use monsters from my hand or field!" Dan takes the two cards showing them off towards Hector. "And I will fuse these two! Photons Thrasher, and Jumper!" Two warriors rose up one holding a large blade, and a red caped one flew up fusing together.
"Two embodiments of the light from the cosmos! Join together, and form into a dragon that is a descendant of the embodiment of light to defend all those within the universe! Fusion Summon! Level 6, Twin Photon Lizard!"
Forming onto the field was a large yellow/black dragon with twin heads roaring. The heads have a curved orange horn on their heads with orange spines down the back while small legs at the bottom alongside spikes around it's waist alongside a large red orb with a hexagon in between the heads, and having a light blue made tail growling above Dan.

"Looks like it's the Fusion Deck first. Although Gong doesn't recall this monster." Gong admits as he watches, that although he doesn't recognize this card, he pretty much guesses this must be Dan's Fusion Deck. Why else would he use a Fusion Monster within it?
"No..." they blinked, looking at Sora who looked confused. "That card's never used for Red-Eyes. Its Attribute doesn't match, and it uses monsters that don't belong with it. What is he using that for?"
"Maybe a way to get a strong attacker?" It has 2400 points which is possible for it by Zuzu's suggestion.
Both Yuto, and Shay who are both watching in a different part of the audience, are staring at Dan's summoned monster. If this kid has Twin Photon Lizard, the ONLY Fusion Monster, the strongest duelist of their home had used, then they are wondering how much of his Deck he has or copied. This isn't the time to confront him, Declan had already warned the two to not take any further action. So they resigned to just watch this while Shay looked on wondering how Dan gets so many cards such as this.
"Since, Photon Jumper was sent to my graveyard, I take 1 card that's either Photon or Galaxy, and add it to my hand." Dan searches over his Deck, taking a card called Numbers Last Hope showing it to Hector, and adding it to his hand. "Next I summon Tuning Gum!" A monster formed beside him that shows itself as a freaky monster as it grinned over.
A gum pack came out before something formed above it, a creature made of green gum in the shape of a skull but has brown iris eyes with an antenna, and tongue cackling.

You can only attack with Synchro Monsters during the turn you activate this effect. During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets exactly 1 Synchro Monster you control (and no other cards): You can banish this card from your Graveyard; negate the activation.
"Dan, is this a good idea?" Ray does look concerned from Dan's moves. Photon Thrasher can't be summoned normally, and needed to be summoned by its special ability to be summoned by other ways. From the way Dan has done, he is unable to do Twin Photon Lizard's ability, or Numbers Last Hope with Photon Thrasher unable to be summoned normally. Plus with Jumper used to Fusion Summon, it's useful ability can't be used so she's worried if those moves are a good idea.
In addition, Dan had picked up this fusion trick from Jack Atlas. Jack Atlas uses a Fusion Monster known as Multiple Piece Golem that needs Big Piece Golem, and Medium Piece Golem to be Fusion Summoned, and other side being a strong attacker, it can also defuse itself allowing Jack to perform a Synchro Summon afterward. Twin Photon Lizard pretty much serves the same purpose as it as an effect to defuse itself but it sends itself to the graveyard instead of the Extra Deck allowing it to be used further, but not just for Synchro plays for Xyz plays as well. Since the materials are non-Tuners like the two aforementioned Piece Golems, it places Dan at the same position as Jack does.
"Don't worry, Ray, I know what I'm doing. Although I can't use Thrasher like I should, I have some things in mind." Dan assures her with a smile. He knows perfectly what these moves had done which limits the ability of some of his cards. He then turned back towards Hector while placing down Synchro Transmission. "Finally, I place 1 card down, you're up now, and while you do that, I can look for an Action Card!" Dan turned running around the base for an Action Card.

Hector 1st Turn:
"Okay my turn then, I draw!" Hector drew, checking over what he has in his hand. Seeing what he has, he nodded before taking a card. "I will start with this Vortex Trooper!"
Moving onto the field was a small machine that looked like it's also a fan hence its name. It's sky blue with a large fan propeller as its head while its face is below it, and a propeller as its left hand while having large black claws on its feet, spikes on its arm joints, and a claw on its right hand onto the field.

"This little guy might not seem like much as since I summoned him, I can take 2 cards from my hand, and place them back into my Deck. After that, I draw 2 new cards." Hector takes his two selected cards in his hand, shuffling them into his Deck before then drawing 2 cards.
'Vortex Trooper? Isn't that the monster Adrian used in his Exodia Deck?' Dan does recall this monster stopping a sec to see it. Vortex Trooper, although has strong effects doesn't see much play as the price was giving up your Normal Summon, and has a weak monster on the field where you can somewhat mulligan your hand. It also allows you to draw if it gets destroyed, he remembers Adrian Gecko, a character from GX he wishes can have another chance, uses this card within his Exodia Deck that uses Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord. So seeing this card used by his opponent is surprising, it could mean a lot of things over what kind of Deck Hector could use.
"What a weak card that is. People need Normal Summons to make powerful plays, and he had wasted it for that thing." Sylvio is one of those people who don't see Vortex Trooper's worth only taking it's downside into consideration that although it can assist with getting better cards, he isn't willing to summon a weak monster, and waste his Normal Summon on something like that. Of course, he hasn't been paying attention to Hector's Deck otherwise he would know why Hector has a card like that in his Deck.
"You don't know what Hector can do, Sylvio, so pay attention." Julia defended Hector looking at Sylvio in annoyance who scoffed, staring at the field while Dipper, and Kit sighed to themselves.
"I have a copy of that card myself, but I don't know how I can use it." Zuzu couldn't help admitting as she stares at Vortex Trooper. She does acknowledge that it does have powerful uses, but for a Deck like hers, it doesn't serve much purposes. For 1 thing it's not a Fairy, or a Melodious so she can't use her Fairy support cards, or use her Fusion cards onto it, and it would also leave her open. So she's curious about what Hector is planning to do with it.
"And next up, I activate the spell, Top Share!" Hector takes a spell showing it as a spell which has Counter Cleaner, Helping Robo for Combat, and Magicalized Duston Mop being sold onto an auction by the Two-for-One Team.
Top Share
Normal Spell Card
Reveal 1 card from your Deck and place it on top of your Deck, then your opponent reveals 1 card from their Deck and places it on top of their Deck. You can only activate 1 "Top Share" per turn.
"We both show each other a card from our Decks, and place it onto the top of our Decks." Hector explained which further confuses Dan. First Vortex Trooper, and now a card like Top Share to give them an advantage onto their next drawn card? He still has no idea what kind of Ritual Deck that Hector uses, but can assume Hector is probably working on getting the necessary cards he needs to Ritual Summon, that must be it. Otherwise why would he make moves such as those? "My selected card will be... Impcantation Talismandra!" Once he picks his selected card Hector shows it towards Dan before placing it at the top of his Deck.
"The Impcantation Deck... Ritual Support focused of course he has those, so he can better search what he needs." Dan spoke thinking about this himself. No time to think though he checks over his Deck to see what card to place at the top of his Deck. He needs to use the right card, or come Hector's turn, he will have nothing, and a card that doesn't support him on his next turn will not work out. So he chooses the card that can assist him. "For me, I will go with Return of the Dragon Lords!" Dan shows the spell before placing it at the top of his Deck.
"I won't keep Talismandra as my top card for long. Cause I use Upstart Goblin!" Hector called using another spell card which the Goblin of Greed is dropping coins for a human with a smirk.

"In exchange for giving you 1000 points, I can draw a card!" Hector drew Talismandra checking it while Dan glowed blinking. (Dan: 5000/Hand: 1)
"Clever now he has the monster he had placed in his hand right away while you are still hindered by your next draw." Ray spoke towards Dan impressed from how Hector is taking this at altering his hand to get the right cards he needs. Although, Dan would be anything but hindered from his strategy here, it's still nice for Ray to see the kind of thinking that Hector is doing for what he's planning to do. Like Dan, Ray has no idea what kind of Ritual Deck, Hector is using but if he's using the Impcantation support Deck, it must be a strong Deck.
"And now, I activate Talismandra's effect in my hand!" Hector takes his drawn monster alongside a blue monster card of a monster that Dan finds a little familiar. "By showing you both it, and a Ritual Monster from my hand, I can summon both Talismandra from my hand, and one other Impcantation from my Deck! Come to the field, Talismandra, and Candoll!"
Two portals opened as two monsters rose in front of him alongside Vortex Trooper.
The first of the two monsters, Talismandra, looks like a Mandrake, a magical ingredient in potions who kills anything that hears its scream when it's pulled out of the ground. Its body is pink, and its eyes are completely yellow with short stubby arms, and legs with leaves on its head. Around its neck was a talisman having a demonic face growling.

"And as Candoll was summoned from my Deck, I can take a Ritual Spell card from my Deck, and add it to my hand." Hector searches his Deck, and adds his selected card to his hand. "And I will select the spell, Cycle of the World!" He shows a spell card before adding it to his hand.
Cycle of the World? Not a card Dan ever heard of, but the way it sounds is so familiar. Where has he heard that kind of phrasing before? Plus that Ritual Monster he had shown looks familiar as well. Something is telling Dan that it's a powerful Ritual Monster although he can't quite place what is so familiar about them. Cycle of the World... a Level 8 Ritual Monster...
"I then activate the Cycle of the World!" Hector called using his added card interrupting Dan's thinking while the spell shows an orange/yellow like setting of a upside down city being rebuilt while a silhouette of some kind of a sorceress being behind a sigil.
Cycle of the World
Ritual Spell Card
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Ruin, Queen of Oblivion" or "Demise, King of Armageddon". You must also Tribute monsters from your field whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can shuffle this card into the Deck; add 1 "End of the World" from your Deck to your hand, then, you can add 1 "Ruin, Queen of Oblivion" or "Demise, King of Armageddon" from your GY to your hand.
"To Ritual Summon, I need to sacrifice monsters that are on my field only to summon one of two Ritual Monsters." Hector explained. Well that's another reason why he uses the Impcantations, so Cycle of the World will have the needed Tributes as it doesn't use monsters from the hand only the field. "The Levels of what I need to summon need to be either the same or equal."
Seeing the card more closely, and seeing the sigil onto the spell finally made Dan remember what is so familiar about the cards that Hector has been using. In fact his eyes widen comically. "Wait, you use-!"
Talismandra, and Candoll both were sacrificed as Hector raised his arms up while the same sigil from Cycle of the World appeared in front of him as it glowed bright while everyone watched in shock from what they were seeing.
"The contract of Armageddon has been made! The king of Armageddon gains the power of these souls to judge those unworthy! Ritual Summon! Revive to destroy the world! Level 8, Demise, King of Armageddon!"
A large earthquake happened before something began rising onto the field that they all looked over to see what was being summoned. When the light show faded, what it was a large royal demonic king as it gave a cackling evil laugh. It's equipped with large black robes acting as armor with white pads on its shoulders, and elbows with spikes alongside white gloves with a skull like helmet that also has black horns with a white decorative design on them from it being striped. It also has yellow eyes, and in its hands was a two-handed battle axe while it stares towards Dan who stares shocked at seeing this kind of monster.

Naturally everyone was shocked, and let out cries of stunned shock as they were seeing the monster that was just summoned. Demise is a classic monster back in the past as it's a powerful board wiper with a heavy cost to use it. So seeing a Leo Student able to utilize an old monster such as Demise like this is shocking, especially since that card Cycle of the World works with the Impcantations well.
"He uses Demise, King of Armageddon!?" Sylvio like all the others was shocked at seeing the monster that was just summoned. He had expected Hector to use a Deck that's as little as he is, but a powerful card such as Demise definitely took him by surprise. Now it makes sense, Vortex Trooper, the weak Impcantations, was to build up to the summoning of Demise himself. He had admittedly ignored what Decks his fellow Quintet members used as his Pendulum Deck is the superior one out of them while Ritual has always fallen out of style so he didn't look at the fine print.
"Julia told ya Sylvio. No-one is able to use Demise, and Ruin more than Hector." Kit grinned over seeing Sylvio eating his own words while he stares at Hector who looks on unafraid at having summoned a powerful monster. "He might be young, but he sure as hell can use them like no-one else. He is quite good at what he does."
"Agreed." Dipper spoke while still looking at Hector. "Not as great as me, but he's a close second. He's living proof that Ritual Summoning has potential if he can use Demise, and Ruin like how he does."
"Indeed, he's also the one who convinced the Madam Chairwoman, and Declan to have LID use Ritual Summoning courses." Julia added over that Hector is also able to do something such as that. "The new cards added to Demise, and Ruin were gifts from Declan to appreciate the thought. The Impcantations are also made to better help Hector use them as effectively as he does." She, and the other two representatives had been VERY surprised to learn that Hector, the Top Student of LID's Ritual Summoning Course had also given birth to the idea by suggesting it to Declan. Given the abilities that Hector can use, it's pretty easy to see why.
"Ruin also? Even if Demise is somewhat useful, that card is the worthless one of the two. Why would he use that one?"
"You're gonna have to see why, and think twice about calling it worthless." Kit spoke to Sylvio that it is better if he just watches instead of belittling Hector, and his Deck.
"He can use Demise?" Like everyone else, all of You Show also know about Demise, and Ruin. They are classic Ritual Monsters made to mirror each other on destroying, and rebuilding the world in a never ending conflict of destruction, and rebirth almost like alchemy. If Hector is able to use both of them, then Dan will be in for a tough battle at his hands. Especially since Yuya knows how strong it can be in the right hands.
"Well, how about that?" Sora spoke while grinning after getting over his initial shock. It's not often he sees, or face people using Ritual Monsters especially those as iconic as the Demise, and Ruin combo. So seeing this makes him interested what else Hector can do against Dan.
Dan alongside Ray together were both looking at Demise shock evident on their faces. They, of course, know of Demise, and Ruin, they are some of the most well-known Ritual Monsters in the game, and despite Demise being the more used one of the duo, Ruin herself is capable of being powerful should she be used right. Demise had fallen out of practice as there are also powerful board wipers that require a heavy cost of 2k of LP such as Dark Hole, Heavy Storm, or things like that, but Demise is just as powerful if not a little pricey. So they wonder what else Hector can do here.
They didn't have to wait long to find out. "I place 1 card down, and then activate Demise's special ability!" After placing down a card, Hector raised an arm as Demise's eyes glowed charging energy. Hector glowed willingly, lending energy onto Demise to use its signature ability. (Hector: 2000/Hand: 2) "By paying 2000 Life Points, every other card on the field is sentenced to annihilation!" Demise raised his axe slashing down onto the field as a large dimensional rift opened to destroy every other card. "World Annihilation!"
Deciding now to use his strategy, Dan used his face-down quickly. "I activate Synchro Transmission!" A face-down popped up which shows a Synchro Summoning happening with Tuningware, and Shield Wing.

"Thanks to this during either our Main Phases, I can Synchro Summon immediately!" Dan's words catches several people off-guard. You Show especially since they know that other side his Red-Eyes Deck that uses both Fusion, and Ritual, he doesn't use other summon methods in his other Decks. "Tuning Gum! Following the order, Tuning Gum rose, turning into a single Tuning Ring while Twin Photon Lizard flew up flying past the ring turning to 6 stars.

"He's... not using his Fusion Deck?" From seeing the Fusion Summon at the first turn, Zuzu had assumed Dan's using his Fusion Deck. Although Sora had said that Twin Photon Lizard, and the two monsters he had used to summon it doesn't match with Red-Eyes, they know Dan has a reason to use the card. But now he Synchro Summoned with it? Her mind is greatly confused onto this. Then what Deck is he using right now? Is he using his Fusion Deck, or his Synchro Deck?
"This kid..." Like them, the LID Quintet at the audience stands also thought Dan's using his Fusion Deck from Twin Photon Lizard but apparently not from seeing his Synchro Summon. And since this is the first time Sylvio is seeing Dan dueling, and having been told how Dan fights his duels, Sylvio assumed Dan will be using Decks that gave him lucky plays but uses Synchro as well as Fusion in one Deck? What exactly is he using right now?
"That doesn't matter though! Even if you summoned a new monster, Demise still destroys it with his special ability!" Hector pointed out as Demise growled, raising its axe up high triggering it's ability as all cards on the field were sucked in, destroying each, and everyone of them.
Dan however grinned over towards Hector. "But Hector, that does matter." Hector blinked from this which Dan pointed over. "Since Kuibelt is destroyed, a monster on the field is not allowed to attack this turn!" Hector widens his eyes, turning to see Demise is bound by the same blades that made up Kuibelt's body.
Demise, King of Armageddon: (Cannot attack this turn)
"That was Dan's goal. To stop Hector from attacking when he has nothing on his field. A powerful counter to Demise." Declan spoke while he watched this. If he had shock on his face from Dan's Synchro Summon, he didn't show it instead focusing over what Dan was up too. Now that Demise can't attack this turn, after it uses its ability, Hector can't attack this turn to deal some damage. Although if he knows Hector well enough, that probably won't hinder him for too long.
"I was told that he uses 3 Decks of 1 summon method each. Why is he using a Deck using more than one?" Henrietta is wondering what had made Dan start using more then 1 summon method now. She can't think of why but if this is allowing Dan to do new things, they are expecting to see what he can do.
"Well not bad." Hector admitted over that using Demise's effect like that to his advantage was an ingenious move. "However, I still have some cards to play. For example, as Vortex Trooper was destroyed just now, I can draw another card." He drew checking over his three cards before then adding. "And next I can use the trap that was just destroyed." Dan blinked as a dark fog appeared around the bottom of the field. "Emerge to the field, Wicked Token!"
Raising was a large golden serpent growling having four red eyes, and small arms having claws with a Egyptian Crown on it's head. It has a giant mouth that has small sharp teeth with two large fangs on both sides with horns on the sides of it's head curved down with some type of gem on it's forehead.

"What just happened?" Allie wondered how that monster got summoned after everything was destroyed, and Hector didn't use a card from his hand to use it, and now Demise doesn't summon Tokens from its special ability, and neither can Kuibelt as Dan didn't say anything.
"That trap card that he had placed on his field before using Demise's special ability. It's a nasty trap called, Statue of the Wicked." Sora took this chance to explain as he knows someone who uses that trap card himself. "On its own, it does nothing, but whenever it gets destroyed, it allows him to summon a Wicked Token. But like its trap card, that Token by itself also does nothing on its own. But it does give you a free monster to use whatever you want to use it for."
"So then, little Hector gets lucky with some cards that rely on being destroyed to use on Demise's own ability. Am I supposed to be impressed?"
"You should." Dipper spoke to Sylvio who merely smirked as he kept watching.
Dan does recall Wicked Tokens. Their trap card, Statue of the Wicked, was only used in action once in the anime under Dr. Crowler who uses the trap card against Jaden after using Heavy Storm in their first duel to get 2 free monsters to sacrifice to summon Ancient Gear Golem. He never thought he would see anyone to use Statue of the Wicked again as it doesn't get used from it needing to be destroyed to activate but Hector figured out that Demise's own ability can not only clear Dan's field it will also give him another attacker, and another sacrifice to use for Ritual Summoning. He wonders where this kind of Demise playstyle went whenever he duels.
"And now battle Wicked Token attacks him directly!" The Wicked Token growled charging in towards Dan who quickly turned over finding an Action Card grabbing it. Seeing it was something called Damage Draw though he grunted turning over where the Wicked Token slashed at him cancelling out the LP he had gained earlier due to Upstart Goblin. (Dan: 4000/Hand: 2 (Action Card)) Now at the end of the battle, Hector checks over his hand. With Demise out on the field, and Dan nearby out of cards to use in his hand, or field, he is at a good advantage. But he should still be careful, this was the same kid that defeated Kit after all. And eyeing 1 Ritual Spell card in his hand, he nodded before then taking a card placing it face-down on his field. "Alright, since Demise can't attack this turn, I will just place 1 card down. That's all."
"And here, we have witnessed the king of destruction himself, Demise, King of Armageddon in action on why he is the baddest monster around! With his power to destroy all that's available, Dan will need to do what he can to stop his destructive reign before it destroys him!" Seeing it, and knowing Dan's up too, Hector moved to take an Action Card. While he does Dan pointed over. "Alright, Kuibelt let's show Demise who the true harbinger of destruction is! Kuibelt's bladed wings gathered around charging straight into Demise as it raised its axe, attacking which Kuibelt blocked with its bladed wings but despite this, it had more ATK than Demise.
"I activate, Draining Shield!" Hector called as a trap opened which revealed Freed the Brave Wanderer raising a shield against Giga Gagagigo.
Draining Shield
Normal Trap Card
If an opponent's monster declares an attack: Target the attacking monster; negate that attack, and if you do, gain LP equal to that target's ATK.
"Since your monster is attacking, this card stops the attack cold, but I also regain Life Points equal to the Attack Points of the monster that's attacking!"
"Not this time! I activate the effect of Tuning Gum from my graveyard!" Dan countered as he took the card from his graveyard showing it. "I can banish this card from my graveyard, whenever a card effect targets a Synchro Monster on my field! It negates the activation of that card, and destroys it altogether!" Draining Shield grayed before shattering while Hector grabs an Action Card checking to see. During this Kuibelt manages to parry Demise's axe, and slashes all over with its wings slashing Demise to oblivion while Hector tched from the small amount of damage. (Hector: 1900/Hand: 3 (Action Card))
As Demise has a pretty big cost for its special ability, it makes sense that Hector would have cards that would allow him to regain Life Points quickly to have the prices to pay for it. But since Draining Shield's effect was negated, he can't use that anymore alongside that Demise is now gone from his field.
"Demise might be a powerful monster but even it has its weaknesses! Since it's gone now, and you don't have the Life Points to spare, you can't use its ability anymore!" Dan spoke towards Hector. "I end my turn with this." Since he can't use Last Hope Numbers quite yet, he can only end his turn.
Dan's Hand: 2 (Action Card)/Field: Kuibelt the Blade Dragon (Attack Position)
Hector 2nd Turn:
"Maybe but I'm not out yet." Hector reminded Dan as he drew, checking to see he drew Monster Reincarnation. "First off, I will use the effect of Cycle of the World from my graveyard!" Dan blinked hearing that as Hector shows the spell. "I shuffle this card back into my Deck in order to take the original Ritual Spell to my hand." He slips Cycle into his Deck, and shuffles it before adding the card, End of the World to his hand. "But it doesn't come by itself. I also get to recover Demise from my graveyard!"
"Wait so... it's coming back?" Dan questioned hearing that as Demise's card exited Hector's graveyard that he took adding it to his hand.
"Not exactly." Hector takes a different card placing it. "My next card will be this. Turning of the World!" A spell that shows off an hourglass that has 2 spheres capsulizing both Cycle, and End of the Worlds appeared onto the field.
Turning of the World
Quick-Play Spell Card
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Ruin, Queen of Oblivion" or "Demise, King of Armageddon" from your hand or Deck. You must also Tribute Ritual Monsters from your hand whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. You can only activate 1 "Turning of the World" per turn.
"This card allows me to take either Demise, or Ruin from my Deck, and summon them by sacrificing Ritual Monsters from my hand with equal or higher levels!" A card that can Ritual Summon from his Deck? The last time that happened that Dan remembers was Orichalcos Mirror used by Dartz to summon Mirror Knight Calling from his Deck. If Ritual Summoning is starting to expand more on summoning from the Deck, then there will be multiple strategies that can take advantage of that! "And I will sacrifice the Demise, I just added back!"
Demise appeared before he vanished into the hourglass as its Cycle side lit up, shattering as it glowed bright.
"The contract of Oblivion has been made! With this one soul, may the queen of Oblivion rise up to restart all that has been destroyed! Ritual Summon! Revive back to restart life! Level 8, Ruin, Queen of Oblivion!"
Materializing from the sigil was a monster that looks more benevolent than Demise but is not by no means good. It is a humanoid woman that is wearing a red crimson dress that looks decorative with no sleeves patches open around her belly, and the bottom of the cleavage. It's also shoulderless as well while it also has a black skirt to her feet that also has opened patches at her hips. She also has long sleeved black gloves to her upper area above her elbows alongside 2 golden rings around her wrists. Her hair is silver, and long with some bangs at the sides of her face, while wearing a brown that's black, and red like her clothes. She is also wielding a spear that has a red curved like blade in the shape of an axe that she is wielding one handed.
Everyone knows this is the second of the duo of iconic Ritual Monsters. The Queen of Oblivion herself, Ruin.
(Attack Position)
Ruin, Queen of Oblivion
DARK
Level 8
Fairy/Effect/Ritual
ATK: 2300
DEF: 2000
You can Ritual Summon this card with "End of the World". When this attacking card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can activate this effect; this card can make a second attack in a row.
Seeing Demise was already a sight to behold. But seeing Ruin also especially as the monster of the two least used is also a surprising thing to see that Hector, a Leo Student, is capable of using alongside Demise. Now everyone is getting more excited from this, wondering what is next for them.
Now that Ruin is on the field herself, Dan needs to be careful because it can be capable of wiping him out or something like that if allowed to do what it can do. Unlike Demise that destroys everything, Ruin is a powerful attacker that can deal lots of damage. She isn't used that often though as with a powerful effect, she carries a weakness of not having a lot of ATK as 2300 is not really that much of a hard attacker that can attack multiple times. But as what he had seen from Hector using Demise, he can feel he can also use Ruin just as well.
"First Demise, and now Ruin. Alright, I am eager to see what she can do here in a real duel." Dan grinned over seeing this while Hector grinned back. Quite clear that the two of them are excited for this match while Kuibelt, and Ruin both stared at each other to battle, and everyone else is wondering what exactly happens in this kind of match. Well there is only one way to find out.
Which will be brought here next week. As you seen Julia can use Pendulum against her opponents thanks to Lapis Lazuli. And now we are onto the match between Dan, and Hector. Dan is using his Red Dragon Archfiend Deck that's changed but he shows having some things rather than just Red Dragon Archfiend. It's still a focal point of the Deck, don't worry about that. And his opponent Hector Belmont uses the Demise & Ruin Deck alongside Impcantations. If you recall, Hector is a special character as I like him a bit cause I like the Deck of Demise & Ruin.
The Deck had fallen out of practice but it's always nice to see them again in hands that are capable of using their abilities, and powers to their full potential. And Hector is demonstrating just that by using cards that use effects when destroyed on Demise's side of things. We will see on Ruin's own side next time as we will then see what else Dan has gotten from training hard with Ray. Be sure to ask questions, and be sure to review!
