Antonia looked at the clouds, turning into a soft pink color. "What day is the hearing?" Victor asked the girl who gazed at him sadly. "The 22nd, I believe. They're all going to be on trial." It made Antonia sick just thinking about the situation. She couldn't stop thinking about what had happened and since then, she'd got in many arguments with Samuel. He avoided talking to her about why he left out details which made her feel betrayed. She thought that he didn't trust her, but in reality, Samuel didn't want her to think of him differently. Antonia stepped into the building and stood by her friends. They were currently picking up pizza, and she decided to go to keep her mind off of what was going on. She had to worry about her dance project, her end of the year theater production, prom, and what was going on with Samuel was something she didn't want to get dragged in. She didn't tell her friends of course but her parents paid a lot of money to keep her out of the investigation. Rachel noticed her expression and walked over to her, "Let's go sit on the bench." The girls walked over and sat down, waiting for their pizza to be boxed. "What do you like about him?" Rachel showed no visible change to her face as she waited for a response. Antonia took a deep breath, "Well, he's a really cool lad. He knows his tunes, he cares about his mum and shows his respect for me. And he has a great sense of humor." She blinked as she kept looking out into the shop. "Do you think he would actually be something you would last with. I mean maybe even after high school?" Antonia thought about this and got anxious, she would hate questions like this. She was now dealing with the major issue of soon facing reality. It was going to hit her hard but she was trying to accept that things were moving fast. "I really don't know." She sounded a bit sad but played with her hair, that always kept her grounded. "You should maybe think about if he would really try to work something out with you. I mean, he got kicked out of school,l right?" "Ye, he's suspended for a week. He comes back on Wednesday. But he gets dodging when I ask him questions about what he did." Rachel shifted her eyes, "You deserve someone who is going to be upfront with you. No walking round' eggshells to keep the conversation from happening. It doesn't matter what happened. He should be wanting to talk to you about anything." The machine sounded when Victor slipped in his credit card. They got up and walked over to the counter. Rachel grabbed the bag containing the breadsticks and pasta, "If he can stick his nose in other people's business, you can do the same as his girlfriend."
