"Edward!" Roger laughed heartily when he saw Edward. He had been worried ever since they separated from each other but it seemed that he was worried for nothing.

Naruto and Rayleigh also had huge grins on their face at the sight of the giant of a man.

"Oi! You guys are still alive!" Edward shouted excitedly when he saw their ship in the distance.

After separating from them and shaking the marines off his tail he had immediately made his way towards the dock. A marine commander had tried to stop him but he didn't even last a single move against him. Unfortunately when he got to the dock their ship was already gone.

He had thought that they had been captured by the marines but fortunately that didn't seem to be the case.

However, before he could approach them cannon balls crashed into the waters around his ship. He looked up to see some of the marine warships now aiming their cannons at him.

"Edward!" Vice admiral key shouted from atop the leading warship. He looked at Edward with a gazed that could kill. He grabbed a small transponder snail from his coat and barked out orders. "All warships aim at Edward Newgate! Use the special sea stone cannon balls!"

All the marines quickly started to act according to the order. quickly replacing the normal cannon balls with the sea stone cannon ball. Since Edward was a devil fruit user, using a normal cannon ball against him would be a foolish thing to do as only sea stones could harm a devil fruit user.

On her own ship Tsuru was also observing the situation in front of her.

Edward Newgate, the person in possession of the quake-quake fruit and the one responsible for destroying section 5F's warships. Tsuru frowned at Edward sailing on a small ship. Although she didn't personally witness it she had heard about it from her colleagues and Superiors back at Marine headquarters. The man that had sunken a whole fleet of marine ships with just a wave of his hand.

Compared to him, Naruto and the others were nothing more than petty criminals.

"Oh no! Edward get out of there!" Naruto barked when he saw the warships aiming their canons at Edward. There was no way his boat could survive a single hit from one canon, not to mention dozens. Even their ship was already riddled with holes.

Naruto turned to the others and said. "We have to help him"

"But how?" Rayleigh questioned while watching the warships Aim their cannons at Edward. Because the marines had changed their targets he could finally catch his breath.

"Is he going to be alright?" Spencer asked nervously as he observed the canons with a fearful expression on his face. If it wasn't for the three monsters on the ship their ships would have been sunken a long time ago.

Although he knew that Edward wasn't an ordinary person either he couldn't help but worry considering that he was sailing on a small boat, even if the canons doesn't manage to hit the ship it the tide it would cause from impacting the waters might cause the ship to flip over. For a devil fruit user that's the same as dying.

"Edward get out of there!"

Everyone started shouting for Edward to leave but he acted like he didn't hear and turned to fact the warships aiming at him with a wild grin on his face. He rolled up the sleeves of his shirt and shouted at the top of his lungs.

"BRING IT ON!"

"FIRE!" At that same moment vice admiral key gave the order to the marines and all the cannons shot at Edward at the same time.

Naruto and the others heart skipped a beat when they saw the dozens of dozens of canon balls blocking out the sky.

"What the hell?" Naruto felt a shiver go down his spine at the sight. It was now that he realized that the marines hadn't taken them seriously. If they had shot at them like this there was no way they would have survived up to this point.

Could Edward really survive this?

This is troublesome. Everyone seemed to have come to the same conclusion as Naruto. However, what happened next completely flipped their world view upside down.

"How amusing" with a huge grin on his face Edward raised his fist and punched towards the incoming cannon balls. The sound of a glass shattering echoed in everyone's ears before the space around Edward's fist shattered like glass. Shortly after a huge shockwave spread out from his fist effortlessly blowing the cannon balls away.

The scene shocked everyone who saw it, even Naruto and the others. Although Edward had explained his devil fruit to them they hadn't expected it to be this powerful.

"Is this the power of a devil fruit?" Naruto stared slack jawed but he wasn't the only one. Rayleigh was even finding it hard to form proper words. Here they were worrying about Edward when he was capable of such a feat.

"Amazing" Roger gasped at Edward's display of power. Could Edward still be considered a human being at this point? Only a god should be capable of such a feat. It seemed that his dream of turning the world upside down would be a really difficult path to follow.

If he was to meet someone like Edward things would get difficult. But it was already too late to turn back now.

Spence and Taro held their breath at the shear power of Edward's devil fruit ability. That stack has not only blown the cannon balls away but it had also created a huge tidal wave that had nearly caused their ship to capsize.

What the hell?! All the marines watched with slacked jaws at the space cracks that had been created by Edward slowing seal back up. They couldn't believe that Edward had not only deflected all those cannon balls but he had also cracked space and created a huge tidal wave all with a single sing of an arm.

How was that possible?!

"H…He's not human"

"H..how!"

"What kind of devil fruit ability was that?!"

No matter how they though about it they couldn't understand how Edward did it. However, it all made sense when they thought back to the news they heard of Edward sinking a marine battalion of warships.

"What a scary monster" An heavily bandaged Toga who had received treatment after his fight with Naruto paled at the scale of Edward's attack. Compared to this, his fight with Naruto was a joke.

Before coming to this part of the Grand line from the marine headquarters he had looked down on the people here. He had thought that they wouldn't amount to much but after getting here not only did he get his ass handed to him by a teenager but he had also bear witness to a man cracking space with his fist.

He has never heard of a devil fruit capable of doing such a thing. This escort mission has really been an eye opener for him.

He gave a self depreciating laugh at how he thought that they would be nobody who could match him in this part of the Grand line. Just like those guys in the new world…

"…..This guy is also a monster!"

Unsurprisingly, he wasn't the only one who felt that way.

Tsuru was lost for words. How could someone this powerful only have a bounty of three hundred and twenty million. This guy should have already been arrested and imprisoned in impel down.

"Roger pirates!" Edward shouted snapping everyone out of their daze.

Roger and the others also snapped out of their daze and turned to see Edward grinning at them. They were still surprised by Edward's display of power. Fortunately, thanks to that tidal wave from earlier the distance between them and the marines had widened.

Ignoring the looked he was getting from everyone around him, Edward pointed into the distance and shouted.

"Let's meet again…. in the New World!"

As he said that he didn't wait for their reply and turned to face the marines. He reached out with both of his arms towards the marine's battleships and made a grabbing motion in the air.

Then something that completely shattered ever little bit of rationality they had left happened, Edward grabbed the air like it was some tangible material and flipped it over. As he did that the waters in front of him exploded upward turning into a huge tidal wave.

The water cast a shadow over everyone causing their hearts to skip a beat. Key frowned when he saw the tidal wave heading towards them. His gaze turned serious as he grabbed the hilt of his sword.

"Look out!"

"Move!"

"Turn the ship around! Steer clear of the wave!"

"We need help over here!"

The marines ran helter shelter on the ship trying avoid the incoming disaster but key didn't pay them any mind. His attention was on Edward. The one who had not only caused trouble for him but had also helped those responsible to escape.

How was he going to explain all of this to the higher ups when he gets back. Who knew such a disaster would happen on a simple escort mission.

'I'll make sure to hunt all of you down for this. Even if it's the last thing I do'

"So this is the power of a man with a bounty of three hundred and twenty million" Roger laughed at the huge wave heading their way.

"Grab hold of something!" Rayleigh shouted when he saw the wave heading their way.

As the water crashed back down it created a huge wave that propelled their ship forwards like a bullet.

Eeeeek!

Spencer, Taro and Naruto were nearly thrown overboard from the suddenly acceleration. If it wasn't for the railings they would have been swimming with the fishes.

"Ahhhh"

The three of them held in for their dear lives. In the blink of an air the ship quickly disappeared from Drum kingdom.

However, news of what happened had already spread to every corner of the world.

Alright, alright that's the end.
