SmackDown: 27/7/2000

SmackDown was live at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. X-Pac challenged Steve Blackman for the Hardcore Championship as SmackDown kicked off. As X-Pac's partner, the Road Dogg, did commentary at ringside, X-Pac and the Lethal Weapon tore into each other with belts, trash cans and kendo sticks. In the end, it was a brutal kendo stick shot to the head that secured the win for Blackman. After the match, Road Dogg and X-Pac brutally beat down the Hardcore Champion.

After having some words with The Rock backstage, Commissioner Mick Foley got in the ring, and he wasn't a happy man. He said that Rock wanted revenge on Big Show, Angle, Shane and Benoit after Shane duped all of us on RAW. To level the playing field, Foley made a match between Rock and Angle for SmackDown! He also made a four-on-three handicap tables match with the Dudleys, the Bladewolf and Kane facing Edge, Christian and the Big Show!

The Big Show and Shane then came to the ring to confront the commish. Shane told Foley that he would always be a couple of steps ahead of him, because of his McMahon master manipulation. Big Show then explained why he got back together with Shane. According to the Show, when he was in the hospital recuperating from his knee surgery, he looked in the mirror and realized that he was a joke and a failure for trying to make the fans laugh. He said that Shane and Angle tried to help him realize that, but he didn't listen. But now he realized it, and proclaimed, "I am the biggest, nastiest bastard to ever step foot in the WWF and I am damn proud of it!"

Backstage, Stephanie and Triple H entered their locker room to find more roses. It turned out that they were from Triple H to his wife, and the couple embraced.

The Hardy Boyz defeated Lo Down when Jeff Hardy scored with a Swanton Bomb onto Chaz. But after the match, Chaz and D'Lo brutally attacked the Hardy Boyz.

After fighting Rikishi at Fully Loaded and Scotty 2 Hotty on RAW, Tazz faced off with Grand Master Sexay on SmackDown! The orange-and-black attack managed to secure the Tazzmission on Grand Master, but Scotty interfered and got Sexay disqualified. After the match, Too Cool scored a measure of revenge, as Grand Master nailed the Hip Hop Drop and Scotty hit the Worm!

Next up, is the 4-on-three Handicap tables match.

Before the match could begin, Edge and Christian came out and started insulting the San Antonio crowd. Afterwards, they introduced their partner, the Big Show, who was accompanied by Shane McMahon.

After they came to the ring, the Dudley Boyz' theme hits and the former WWF Tag Team Champions come out. "And their opponents. First, making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 565 lbs, Bubba Ray and D-Von... THE DUDLEY BOYZ!"

The Dudleys hits the ring and pose on the turnbuckles before getting down and face their opponents, who have all but left the ring. The Dudley Boyz' theme dies down.

OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!

Fire explodes on the stage as Kane's theme and out comes Kane and the Bladewolf, teaming up together for the first time since mid 1999. "And their parents, at a combined weight of 636 lbs, the Brothers of Destruction... KANE & THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel introduced before leaving the ring.

to say that the Bladewolf and Kane were angry would be an understatement. They were enraged after what the Big Show, Shane McMahon and Kurt Angke did to the Undertaker this past Monday on RAW, and both of them were itching to get their hands on the Big Show and maybe Shane McMahon as well if he gets in their way.

The two brothers hit the ring and Bladewolf removes his vest, tossing it out the ring as Kane raises his arms and then throws them down, causing fire to explode from the turnbuckles and the lights return to normal before Kane's theme dies down. Edge and Christian rush into the ring but are met with the Dudley Boyz! the referee calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Bladewolf and Kane get out onto the ring apron, and D-Von soon joins them after sending Edge out of the ring while Bubba Ray continues to work on Christian in the corner. Christian is pushed up into the corner and Bubba Ray delivers a hard chop right to the chest, a sound that echos and makes many in the audience wince. Bub a Ray then lands a big elbow right to the forehead. Christian tries to get away but is unable to as Bubba Ray Irish whips him off the ropes and catches Christian in a high back body drop.

Christian scrambled to his feet but runs into a clothesline. grabbing him, Bubba Ray brings him to his corner and tags in D-Von. Together, the Dudley Boyz Irish whip Christian off the ropes and floor him with a double clothesline. Bubba Ray gets out onto the ring apron as D-Von takes the fight to Christian with repeated shots to the midsection.

D-Von Irish whips Christian but Christian reverses it, attempts a punch but D-Von ducks underneath, rebounds off the ropes and takes Christian down with a flying shoulder tackle. D-Von gets to his feet as Edge rushes in but he gets a punch to the forehead for his troubles.

The referee deals with getting Edge out of the ring, and Christian takes the advantage and... NAILS A LOW BLOW ON D-VON! Christian then follows it up with a reverse DDT! He rolls over and tags in the Big Show.

The Giant comes in as D-Von makes it back to his feet but gets floored with a powerful clothesline by the 7'2, 500 lb Big Show. Pulling D-Vom up, Big Show practically manhandles the man as he throws him into the corner and lands some kicks to the midsection, dropping D-Von but Big Show picks him up again and then... THROWS HIM ACROSS THE RING!

"Come on, D-Von!" Bubba Ray shouts in support for his brother and tag team partner. Kane is watching silently while the Bladewolf is pacing back and forth on the ring apron, glaring a hole towards the Big Show.

Big Show Irish whips D-Von off the ropes, then scoops him up and... HITS A BIG TIME POWERSLAM! Big Show then tags in Edge who comes in and starts stomping away on D-Von. Edge pulls him to his feet, sets the arm up over his neck and then lifts him up onto the top turnbuckle. After giving a brief punch, Edge climbs up and attempts a superplex from the top turnbuckle but D-Von stops it, then lifts Edge up and sends him crashing to the mat below.

Getting down, D-Von takes Edge down with a clothesline, then starts crawling towards his corner but Edge grabbed him from behind, but got an elbow to the face for his trouble. As Edge went down, Christian darted into the ring, grabs D-Von from behind and hits a suplex on him.

Kane then enters the ring and floors Christian with a right hand, then gives one to Edge. Christian runs at Kane but is scooped up into a Tilt-A-Whirl slam by the Big Red Machine. Kane gets to his feet and clotheslines Edge over the top rope before grabbing Christian and tosses him over the top rope. Kane then turns and points at the Big Show, who takes the challenge and steps over the top rope.

However, he slightly pauses as the Bladewolf enters the ring and stands beside Kane, the two brothers staring a hole through the Big Show who looks between them before he gestures for them to bring it, and so the brothers do as they assault the Big Show. Ignoring the referee, the brothers start pummelling Big Show in the corner with a fury of rights and stomps. Noticing Shane on the ring apron, Bladewolf whirls around and clotheslines the McMahon, sending him down to the floor.

Kane briefly takes his attention off Big Show to scare the referee back and then turns into a clothesline from Big Show, who then does the same to the Bladewolf when he turned around. grabbing Kane, Big Show tosses him out of the ring as the Bladewolf rolls out underneath the bottom rope. However, Big Show is not doen as he gets out of the ring to further confront the brothers. Meanwhile, Edge and Christian continue the match with the Dudley Boyz.

Outside the ring, Bladewolf clobbers Big Show from behind and lands repeated forearms to the back but Big Show punches him in the stomach and then... SENDS HIM HEADFIRST INTO THE STEEL RING POST!

Big Show turns his attention back to Kane. Meanwhile, the Dudleys, after hitting their signature move, get a table into the ring. They hoist Edge up and... PLANT HIM THROUGH THE TABLE WITH A 3-D! THE MATCH IS OVER!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The Dudley Boyz' theme plays but is cut off as Christian tries to attack the Dudleys, only to get knocked down. They set up another table for Christian but the Big Show comes in and takes out the Dudleys. He then turns around... INTO A GOOZLE FROM KANE! However, Shane attacks kane from behind, making him release Big Show. Kane turns to Shane, grabs him by the throat, lifts him up but Big Show attacks him before he can Chokeslam Shane.

Bladewolf is seen coming to and slowly crawling into the ring as Big Show grabs Kane by the throat, lifts him up and... PLANTS HIM THROUGH THE TABLE WITH A CHOKESLAM!

Big Show's theme plays as he and Shane leave while Bladewolf crawls over to Kane to check on him, glaring up at the Big Show and Shane with vengeance in his eyes.
