"Should I get you some coffee?" Kakashi asks Sakura.

"Yes, please. We still have few papers to go through," Sakura replies.

"I am really grateful that you are helping me with this." Kakashi says searching for the coffee. He had to submit a report immediately and Sakura was kind enough to help him.

"C'mon don't say that now. I am happy to help," She gave him a smile. Kakashi smiled in return. Sakura loved seeing his smile. Yes, his smile. She once saw his face without a mask. So, Kakashi quite often removed his mask when they were alone.

"Shit," Sakura heard him. "I think I'm out of coffee. Would you like something else?"

"Umm... maybe some sake if you have some."

"Sake it is," Kakashi brings a bottle. After completing their work they get busy with the sake. Normally Kakashi wasn't so careless, but he felt quite comfortable with Sakura these days. She was a comfortable person to be around with. Her list of friends said that about her. She was a ray of sunshine.

He was quite tipsy by the drink. Sakura is laughing about something she just shared. At that moment Kakashi felt his heart skip a bit. She was beautiful, like a man finds a woman beautiful, in a desirable kind of way. He sees a strand of her hair falling on her face, he takes his hand and tucks it behind her ears.

Sakura blushes. Looks at him to find out he is already looking at her. They lock their eyes for some moments. Kakashi was attractive, and they were both single. Some not-so-appropriate thoughts enters Sakura's mind.

"I think I will leave now," She says standing stands up to leave. As she moves forward her legs slip. Kakashi catches her before she falls.

His arms are hugging her body, she fits perfectly into his arms. They have an eye contact again. The tension grows between them. They are inches apart form each other. No one knows who moved first, but they are kissing in a second.

Their lips moved with each other, none wanting to back out. They were both adults, hesitation was gone. Her lips tasted sweet like strawberries. Kakashi had kissed women before, but none were as good as Sakura. Kissing her felt like he touched the sky.

They pull back to catch their breath. Only then do they realize the depth of the situation. Kakashi kissed Sakura, his ex student. Though she was 23, legally an adult, he felt guilty of liking the kiss and wanting to do that again.

"It shouldn't have happened," Sakura rambled. He didn't blame her for that. She had the right to feel that way. "I'll leave."

In a second he heard the door close. Kakashi sat on the couch, his palm on his forehead. What had happened? He would apologize to her tomorrow.

After a minute he heard a knock, "Kakashi," It was Sakura. He hurriedly opened the door. She stepped in, closed the door, and kissed him. Kakashi gave in as well. Damn the consequences, he fought wars he would deal with it too. This kiss was passionate. He pressed her on the door taking control of the kiss. They kissed until their lips were swollen red.

Sakura falls in his arms. They embrace each other. "I don't regret this," She says. "But I got afraid before."

"Me too, but I liked kissing you," Kakashi says. It was easier to confess as they weren't facing each other.

"I seriously need to leave though. I have work tomorrow."

Kakashi pulls back from the hug but doesn't let her go. "Wait for me after work. I'll pick you up. Let's have dinner together."

"I would love that," Sakura smiles. "Umm.. I'll go now."

Kakashi gives her a short sweet kiss on her forehead. "Goodnight, Sakura."

"Goodnight."
