Lydia climbed out of her window one morning just before the sun rose. She slung her camera strap over her head and sat down on the tiles. She took a deep breath letting in the cool morning air. It was barely light outside the sun had just started to come up over the mountains. Lydia turned her camera on and took a picture.
Lydia was walking down the stairs when she saw BeetleJuice yelling her name "LYDIA!!!" She ran faster down the stairs "what?" BeetleJuice looked up at her and smiled "I missed you." Lydia smiled "I missed you too." "What do we have planned today?" "Not much." Lydia walked down the rest of the stairs and walked to the kitchen setting her Camera on the countertop Barbara and Adam were cooking breakfast. Barbara looked at Lydia "hi sweetheart!" "Hey Barbara! Hey Adam!" Adam smiled at Lydia. Delia entered the room "Good morning!" The others turned to her "Good morning!" They responded in unison. Lydia helped the Maitlands set the food on the table. They all sat down to eat. "Lydia?" Lydia looked at her stepmother "Yeah?" "I was wondering if we could bulid you a dark room today." "Where?" "In the basement." Delia looked at the two previous owners of the house "is that okay?" The two ghosts both nodded happily they hadn't been to the basement since the accident where they died. Lydia cleaned up her plate in the sink and went upstairs to get her photos. She opened her bedroom door and got her photo album and a box that had a few extra pictures. She went back downstairs and went to the basement door. She had never been down there. She turned the knob and opened the door. She was met with pitch black darkness. "BeetleJuice!!" The ghost with the most appeared by she side in a flash. "Whatssup?" He looked down at the gothy teen "I need a light please." He snapped his fingers "you got it!" A flame flickered from his finger lighting up the dark staircase. Lydia started to walk down the stairs. She reached the bottom quickly. BeetleJuice followed after her. The walls and floor were concrete. Lydia stared in horror at dark puddle of blood in the middle of the floor. BeetleJuice saw Lydia's pale face she swayed a bit. BeetleJuice caught her before she could plummet the floor. He held her close to himself.
