Hey there guys, I'm back with another RWBY story, I know it's been a while since I've posted one and it's a reaction story.
But it is also a crossover story with another Fanfic, actually it's something I've crossed over with before.
The 'King of Grimm' franchise with Devlin Dracul. Once again read it please, it's really good.
This is going to be the KOG cast reacting to my new AU, well the new main continuity for my RWBY AU.
Grimm May Cry.
Now for those of you who have read my 'Descendants of Ozma Multiverse' reaction story you will know that the first world they react to is a Grimm May Cry world.
And those of you who have watched my wattpad stories, like 'Into the Arcverse' know that I had an original timeline for my GMC series.
I'm here to tell you…to forget all of that.
We're doing a complete reboot, and with a new reboot comes a new timeline.
So this first chapter is gonna be one huge lore dump regarding the timeline of events, then next chapter will be the KOG cast getting taken to watch the GMC world.
Okay, let's begin:
Now the first thing that changes is that Salem and Ozma do not have four daughters, instead they have two boys.
Noctis and Thaddeus.
These two were extremely powerful and were very proficient in magic.
They also had access to Grimm forms, thanks to their mother.
Those two also took part in the great war, much to the dismay of their mother and father.
During the war, they both fell in love, Thaddeus with a healer named Maria and Noctis….with a warrior named Joan Arc.
However during the war, Thaddeus was to the depravity and cruelty of humanity and if that wasn't enough, my guy lost the love of his life, as well as his unborn child.
Then his brother Noctis ended up, not only becoming a respected hero during the war, he also married Joan and they had a healthy baby boy named Willaim Arc.
While Thaddeus tried to be happy for his brother, he himself was jealous of the happiness his little brother founded while he got nothing.
The tipping was when he found out his parents' true backstory. How Salem was cursed by the guards with immortality and how she became a cursed Grimm hybrid.
Then how his father, who he absolutely looked up to was basically the Gods' play thing.
It made Thaddeus feel like if his entire life was a joke, especially since the gods so all this war and death and they did nothing.
Thaddeus then left for the next 4 years and nobody knew where he was.
Eventually he returned…..and killed his dad, before then moving on to damaging Salem to the point where it would take her years to fully heal.
Thaddeus then went and killed Joan, before kidnapping his nephew Willaim.
Noctis was of course furious and chased after Thaddeus. The two fought, but they were even in strength.
However Noctis managed to get the upper hand and seal his brother in the Grimmlands.
Willaim then went on to continue the Arc bloodline, though it also spiraled…into the Taurus bloodline as well.

Right, so now that, that little lore dump is finished, it's time we move on to the main characters of this story, Jaune and Adam, who will be taking the part of Dante and Vergil.
Now I'll do Jaune's backstory first considering it doesn't really need a complete overhaul like Adam's.
Now in this AU Jaune is the youngest member of his family and he is also the only boy. Meaning both his mother and his sisters were very protective of him.
They didn't want him to be a huntsman, but his dad, uncle and Aunt (who is actually Robyn) were willing to train him.
While his dad wanted to teach Jaune in the way of the blade, his little brother Johnathon, wanted to teach his nephew to use guns.
From a young age, Jaune knew who to shoot a gun, by the age of 10, Jaune knew how to shoot an assault rifle, a shotgun and pistols.
Fun fact: Ebony and Ivory, which Jaune uses in the actual Grimm May Cry story, was originally made for his uncle. Robyn made them for Johnathon as a birthday gift, because they were you know, married.
However when Jaune was 11…..his uncle died while on a mission with his father. Johnny was sort of like the light of the family, so they kind of fell apart when he died.
Nobody in the family wanted Jaune to become a huntsman after that. Jaune was banned from continuing to train with his firearms and was banned with training.
Jaune of course goes behind his family's back and takes Crocea Mors and runs off to Beacon.
Now with Adam….
Adam was born in Mantle, him, his mother and father all had a decent house and life. Adam's dad was a huntsman, while his mother was a waitress in the local bar and a faunus rights activist.
However when Adam was only six months old, his dad died. He died on a mission after his team, who were a bunch of racists left him to be eaten by a pack of Grimm.
This caused Adam and his mom to have to move from their original house, because they no longer had the money to pay the rent, since his mother's job as a waitress didn't pay as well as a huntsman's salary.
They ended up living in the slums of Mantle and were quite poor. Growing up, Adam would try to help his mother as much as he could, but she would always insist he be safe, because he was all that mattered to her. He was her baby.
Adam unfortunately didn't have any friends growing up, considering the area they were in had only human neighbours. The kids didn't want to play with him or interact with him.
Eventually though, him and his mother were taken by the SDC and forced to work in the mine when Adam was only 5.
For the next five years they were trapped in that hellhole, forced to mine Dust for Jacques.
However things seemed to change when Adam encountered a young girl wondering the mines, a human girl.
Weiss Schnee.
Weiss wanted to see how the mine's worked and what went into it. There she met Adam, who of course thought she'd be disgusted by him, but to his surprise she wasn't.
The two quickly became best friends and sometimes Weiss would even sneak in snacks or bring leftovers from dinner down with her to the mines so Adam could eat.
But they never told each other their names, only going by their nicknames for each other. 'Red' for Adam and 'Princess' for Weiss.
However on one faithful day, Weiss ended up getting caught by the guards. Now from both the guards' and Jacques' perspective it seemed like Adam had attacked Weiss, but that wasn't the truth, as the two were just playing tag.
As Punishment, the guards dragged Adam and right in front of the young child's eyes, they murdered his mother, brutally and slowly.
As they killed her, they also branded Adam's left eye, with the SDC symbol.
Adam then went berserk and murdered all the guards before he managed to escape.
Now due to the trauma he suffered, Adam's mind, basically stuffed that incident in the back of his mind, kind of erasing his mother's death from his mind.
Eventually he was found by Sienna who adopted him and took him back to Menagerie.
There Adam met Blake and Ilia, but he never did form a relationship with Blake like in the show.
Adam saw her as a friend and little sister, while Blake was the one who actually developed the crush on him.
Adam quickly became Sienna's right hand, as well as the fact that he became the leader of the Vale Branch of the fang.
Originally Adam, didn't kill humans when he joined the Fang. The first time he killed a human was when Ghira and Sienna were attacked by some racist bandits and he used Moonslice to kill one of them.
Ghira was absolutely furious with him, while Sienna was with him.
Eventually after seeing more of his friends die at the hands of humans, he snapped and started killing humans.
This caused Blake to leave the Fang and eventually go to Beacon.

Right so now that the backstory for our two main characters is ready….let's move onto the timeline.
Now Volume 1-3 stays mostly the same, except Team JNPR does accompany RWBY when they go after the White Fang and Roman Torchwick.
The Fall of Beacon does mostly stay the same, except there are some changes.
When Adam fights Blake, he doesn't say anything like 'My love' or allude to them having a relationship. He also isn't violent with Blake, but easily subdues her with Gambol Shroud.
Yang doesn't get one-shot like she did in the show. She fights Adam…..but he absolutely wrecks her and still slices off her hand.
Then with Pyrrha, Jaune actually manages to catch up to her and help her fight Cinder. But in the end, she's still to powerful for them.
Cinder still kills Pyrrha, but she's left open….to Jaune coming in and chopping off her hand and slicing off her left eye.
Jaune then holds Pyrrha as she dies in his hands, he's so distraught, that he doesn't notice the Wyvern come out to attack him, but that's when Ruby comes up and saves him with her silver eyes.
Also Roman does not die during the fall.
Instead him and Neo join our heroes because they realize that working with Cinder and Salem is a guaranteed death sentence.
Volume four stays the same and so does majority of Volume 5, though the final fight at Haven does change a bit. And also Adam does not kill Sienna, but instead he beats her in trail by combat to become the next high leader of the White Fang.
Unlike in the show, Cinder has more of a beef with Jaune than she does with Ruby, since Jaune was the one who maimed her and Jaune hates Cinder because of what she did to Pyrrha.
Jaune and Ruby fight Emerald and Cinder
Yang fights Mercury
Qrow fights Raven
Ren and Nora fight Hazel
And Oscar fights Lionheart
Roman and Neo just try to survive
Also I should mention…..that Oscar is Hazel's nephew in this, Gretchen was Oscar's mother.
I'll just say this, Gretchen was actually the original Spring Maiden before Raven and she accompanied Summer and Raven to try and kill Salem, but was killed and the powers transferred over to Raven.
The reason why Hazel hates Ozpin so much is because he blames him for the death of his sister and for taking away his nephew's mother, but also for involuntarily bringing Oscar into his war, by having him be Oz's next vessel.
Meanwhile when the White Fang arrive, Adam does not get bitched by Blake like he did in the show. Instead it becomes a full on war between both Adam's white Fang and Blake and Sun's.
Adam takes on Ilia, Blake and Sun in a three on one fight and he still has the upper hand.
He only really 'loses' after he realizes his men have been defeated and captured by the other White Fang.
Adam then threatens to blow himself, the school and Blake's White Fang to bits if they don't let his men go.
This distraction actually allows the Adam's white Fang members to run away, Adam wants to stay and fight, but is forced back by his men.
The rest of the Haven fight stays the same.
Volume 6 now, this is where the changes really come in.
Adam tells the rest of his men that the White Fang is over and that they've lost, he wants them all to leave and go live their lives.
This is where he goes and ditches his White Fang mask, for the piece of black cloth that he had in Volume 6.
Adam actually follows them to the train and he isn't doing this because he wants to kill Blake, on the contrary he's after the Relic of Knowledge.
Mostly to destroy it as a way to screw over Cinder, because he's still pissed about her.
Adam is the one who attacks the train and thanks to his negativity and rage, he attracts the Grimm.
This is also where him and Jaune first technically 'meet' by they don't really interact since Jaune only joins Qrow to help fight Adam.
Anyway, Adam ends up using his moonslice which causes an avalanche and knocks part of the train down.
Jaune ends up with RWBY, Oscar and Qrow. Meaning he's also there when Jinn reveals her secrets.
Funnily enough Jinn only answered Jaune when he asked the question about what Oz was hiding. The rest of the group, she just plain ignored.
Adam was also there to see the entire backstory of Salem and Oz.
Anyway, they encounter the Apathy, but escape and head back to Mistral.
A whole argument brakes out between Oscar, Jaune and Qrow, which ends with Jaune and Qrow fighting.
Ren, Roman and Oscar end up deciding to take Jaune out in town to help his spirits up…..only to then run into Adam who followed them once again.
He beat the shit out of Ren, Jaune and Roman, before kidnapping Oscar.
He basically insisted they give him the relic of choice for Oscar.
Jaune then goes in to try and negotiate with Adam, this being the first time they've talked.
Adam doesn't wanna hear shit and immediately starts pummelling Jaune.
It then turns out…..this was a setup. As Roman ended up freeing Oscar and Qrow and Ren helped Jaune with Adam.
During the fight, Adam ended up punching a hole through Jaune's shoulder shocking him.
However this turned out to be a mistake, as this led Jaune to awaken his magical power from his ancestors.
He used this new found power to then beat Adam, knocking him out but not killing him.
They used him as a bargaining tool to get them to Atlas.
This is also where Weiss meets Adam and realizes he's the little boy she met when she was a kid.
Now then unto Volume 7
Adam ends up getting a trail, where Weiss actually defends him and goes against the SDC and more importantly, Jacques.
It doesn't work out, Adam gets put in an insane asylum. Weiss goes to visit him and calls him by his nickname she gave him.
Unfortunately due to the trauma, Adam doesn't really remember her. He has a vague idea, but nothing concrete.
He's more interested in Jaune, since Adam sees somewhat of a kindred spirit in him.
Speaking of Jaune, this is where he begins training with his newfound magic powers. Ozpin realizes Jaune is a descendant of his youngest son, but doesn't tell him, for the risk of Salem finding out.
Jaune meets his Aunt Robyn again and she gives him Ebony and Ivory and he shocks all his teammates when they see how good he is with guns.
Ruby starts drooling.
Anyway, Adam starts slowly getting his memories back, his mental block shattering before he fully remembers what happened to his mother, what happened to him and most importantly Weiss.
This also allowed him to awaken to his Magic powers as well.
Adam breaks out and now wants nothing more than to murder Jacques Schnee.
He then goes on to fight the entirety of Atlas to get to Schnee. He faces off against Jaune again, who he dogwalks this time.
He beats Winter after she tries to arrest him.
He beats Ironwood too.
Raven even shows up to try and stop him. She gives him a little challenge…..but she makes the fatal mistake of stabbing him with his own sword, which unlocks his Grimm Trigger and then he beats her ass.
Adam then goes to face Jacques and finally get his revenge, but instead Whitely of all people is the one to deliver the finishing blow to his father, before having a mental breakdown.
Adam, now feeling empty hands himself over to the military, where he's set for life in prison. But Weiss and Jaune talk them out of it, especially when Jaune drops the bomb that they're related.
Jaune convinces them that Adam could help them beat Salem, so they agree to let him help.
Volume 8: Now this is basically a full on war between Atlas and Salem's forces. Since Ironwood didn't go crazy like he did, Atlas is more of a threat since they aren't fighting themselves.
Jaune, Oscar, Qrow, Tai and Adam ended up fighting Salem, they ended up using the staff of creation to help them make a weapon capable of killing an immortal.
And it worked…it just wasn't any of them who did the final blow.
Cinder was the one who killed Salem and then stole her power. Basically like the final fight in Castlevania Nocturne Season 2 (Spoilers if you haven't seen it yet)
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Like how Drolta disguised herself as a servant of Erzabeth, only to then take her power when she was at her weakest.
Yep that's why Cinder did to Salem.
Then it became Jaune and Adam against Cinder. They both tried their best, but Cinder was way stronger than before they were both tired from fighting Salem.
Luckily Ruby came in and used her Silver Eyes to attack Cinder, which instead of turning her to stone…..it took away her Grimm powers.
Jaune then got a second wind and finished Cinder off by slicing her in two.
The evil of Salem and her lackies was gone. Ozma was freed and Oscar could live again. Hazel also survived, so he could be with his nephew again….you know once he gets out of jail.
Mercury and Emerald also joined the heroes, but they still had to serve time in jail for what they took part in.
Roman and Neo were pardoned of their previous crimes and were free once again.
But Adam was nowhere to be found, nobody knew what happened to him, he just disappeared.
Jaune was celebrated as a hero, along with everyone else. Him and Ruby started dating.
And a year later, Jaune ended up opening up a shop….the same one Dante has in DMC 3, though it isn't named yet.

Phew! That was a lore dump and a half wasn't it. Anyway, as you can see this is the timeline of events that take place before Grimm May Cry begins.
Hope you guys enjoyed, be on the look out for next chapter.
