TWO HUNDRED FORTY SIX: LIFELINE!
"Acro! Your phone is going off!" Dimentio called throughout the castle.
"Gimme!" Acro lunged from seemingly nowhere, tackling the jester to the floor. "It's Taylor!" Ewtad sat on Acro's shoulders.
"Who?" Dimentio asked, shoving Acro off him.
"Taylor!" Acro turned, Ewtad threw anime sparkles and flowers around her, "An astronaut lost in space! And they need my help surviving on a distant moon!"
"So it's a game on your phone?" Dimentio deduced.
The anime sparkles and flowers shattered, Ewtad jumped off Acro's shoulders.
"IT'S NOT A GAME! IT'S A TEXT ADVENTURE!" Acro shook Dimentio by his shoulders. "And right now I've got to decide weather to save Captain Aya or power a beckon…"
"Acro! Come get Manny off my Chain Chomp!" Mimi shrieked from elsewhere in the castle. Acro kicked off Dimentio and ran through a wall to escape Mimi's wrath.
Dimentio rubbed his side where Acro had kicked him, he glanced after her and did a double take, noticing her phone had once again been discarded.
It was constantly buzzing with notifications from her silly text game app. Figuring he'd pocket it so Acro wouldn't tear the castle apart looking for it.
[Taylor is waiting for You]
Her phone buzzed. Annoyed, Dimentio opened her phone and read the text on screen.
[Save Captain Aya] [Power the beckon].
Curious, he clicked on power the beckon.
"Has anyone seen my phone?" Acro became more stressed as she flipped over couches, chairs, people, tables, and pets, looking for her phone.
"I thin' I saw Dimen'o wivit." O'Chunks said after Acro had raised him and spun him this way and that to see if it was stuck in a muscle roll or worse (shudder). Acro chucked O'Chunks, "HARBLE-DEH!"
"Dimentio!" Acro warped to the jester who was curled up on the top bunk of her bed, looking at her phone with wide, twitching eyes. "What are you doing with my phone?!" She demanded.
"You dropped it." Dimentio answered absent mindedly, his eyes flickering across the screen. "I've killed Taylor twice now. Why are they so stubborn?"
Acro sighed.
So, I haven't looked at the list in over a year. so I have NO idea what this chapter was originally supposed to be, so I fixed it to what it is now going to be!
The game Acro and Dimentio are playing is Lifeline, it's a text based adventure game, there are currently I believe three or four games. Two of them feature Taylor in Space and you're trying to make him survive but the second game is so freaking frustrating. It's a really relaxing game (no action really) with different endings, and believe it or not you can actually get REALLY attached to Taylor. I remember when I first started playing the second Taylor installment (months after playing the first game) I actually teared up because it's almost comforting having notifications from Taylor. It's sort of time based, but you're under no pressure to respond to Taylor right away, so you can sleep and not worry about them breaking something or themselves.
It's a really great game and I believe you can get the first one for free, but I'm not 100% sure. And they have a youtube and twitter page so please, check out the game and the developers, show them some love for annoying Dimentio lol.
