You read it here folks, it seems the first denial of a city going under left Leviathan holding a grudge against the first ever city to not only survive but prosper after it's initial attack,

and Not only that, the second time he didn't even get close to the shores of the city, seemingly fighting against ONE CAPE.

I was one of those too slow to flee the city when the evacuation was ordered, i saw so many heroes and villains gathered to fight off Leviathan.

Than this Buffed up grey dude floated from above and called himself Annihilation, the dude looked like Doomsday!

Setting down her phone with a red face, Taylor's hands smacked her faces as she tried to fight back the blush, the poor girl tried to ignore the atomic blush spreading as she sat up from her bed, moving to ger dressed for the day, Taylor sighed as she prepared herself for another day in hell.

Stepping down the stairs of her house, Taylor stopped at hearing an approaching wind before she turned and was gently scooped up by a human sized Adam before she held on for dear life as she watched her street seemingly shrink.

"ADAM!"

"HEY TAYLOR!"

Staring over the parking lot with a mischievous glint, Emma Barnes and Sophia Hess awaited for they're target in silence, slightly put off by the separation between them and Madison who had called them out the morning before breaking off the friendship they had, which left Sophia confused and Emma fuming.

Waiting for any sign of Hebert among the approaching groups of students, someone stopped and pointed to the sky which made the entire school stare.

Following they're gaze, Emma gawked at the sight of Taylor Hebert clinging onto the neck of the guy who solo'd an Endbringer Yesterday, floating down slowly.

"Adam, next time call me before you decide to literally yank me from the damn side walk!" getting a chuckle as he touched down, Adam ignored the stares as he approached the double doors with Taylor still holding on.

Giving a yell as the doors exploded from Adam simply walking into them.

"That door was already broken when we got here!"

Staring after the big man himself, Sophia and Emma shared a glance before Emma spoke up in realisation.

"I see now why Madison ditched our friendship" this gained a slow nod from Sophia.

Throughout the day, Adam had stuck close to Taylor like a lost puppy, well more like an over protective Pit Bull to those stupid enough to try, and so far Taylor's day hadn't gone down hill, meaning no bullies aka the trio.

Which when she spotted only Emma and Sophia, Madison was nowhere to be seen along with half of the usual other bullies who tormented her.

Sparing a glance to Adam as he ate a homemade meal beside her, staring at his muscled arms for a full minute, Adam gave her a curious look that made her look back to her food to quickly eat it, not noticing Adam catch a Basketball thrown at her and puncture it with his suddenly clawed fingers, sending a glare at the teen who had paled Adam threw it back without hesitation, sending the brat flipping in place before he returned to eating.

Following that was Taylor being kept in the dark by Adam acting as a shield for her, showing nothing to her much to Emma and Sophia's growing annoyance, some of the puppets they used had either been sent to the infirmary or flat out said no.

Which pissed Emma off more than Sophia expected.

It however changed at the end of the day where Adam and Taylor were about to exit the school did Taylor feel a sudden dread as a voice called out to them.

"Hey Hebert!" turning to the voice of Emma, Adam kept walking to the door before he stopped and turned his head to the voice, spotting Emma Clements approaching Taylor with a bottle of orange juice.

Spotting the juice, Adam moved towards the two with a growl, spotting Sophia leaning against a locker, Adam's eyes glowed in anger before his eyes snapped to a surprising sight as Emma had failed to notice someone beside her.

"Hey Barnes" turning in surprise to Madison's voice, the juice in her hand was sooner splashed onto her own face by the BACKSTABBER!.

Standing in shock while Madison grabbed Taylor by the hand and dragged both her and Adam, Adam gave no resistance as Emma wiped her face with a glare aimed at Madison as the doors closed.

All the while Taylor stared at Madison like she had grown a second head.

Walking for a good while to be away from Winslow, Taylor stared at Madison as she fixed her frazzled hair, she inhaled deeply before turning to Taylor and Adam.

"I know this is sudden and such, I know what ever I do won't undo the damage we've done, But I want to make things right between the two of us, after He scared me straight, I came clean to my parents" reaching into her pocket, she held a hard drive to Taylor who blinked in confusion.

"This is evidence between Emma and I, I know it won't do much Hebert, But I'm sorry for all the shit I put you through" Giving Taylor a nod, she turned to Adam who had an approving look before she left.

Not noticing Adam watch her ass before turning to Taylor as she stared at the Hardrive in her hand.

"What do you want to do?" getting a flinch from Taylor as she turned to him, her eyes were beginning to water much to his worry before she hugged him as tightly as she could, leaving Adam standing there before he returned the embrace.

The two failing to notice a figure sitting on the ledge of the building across the road, watching them with glowing amber eyes, dangerously flipping a syringe in his left hand before he vanished.
