The bullet that kills you - SAO Integral fragments
Death Gun... That name only brings two words that mean the ending of a life. When I encountered him, I didnt know what to think, the way he looked at me with those big red eyes, It was like he was seeing through my soul. Those big red eyes, I know i've seen them but i can't remember where, i know I've seen them... but who out of all the LafCof members had those big red eyes...
I managed to pass the first two duels but there three more waiting for me. Who are my opponents, I don't know. One thing I do know, is that I need to get to the big showdown of BoB, I am sure that Death gun will be there... but I can't find his name on the board, the only thing I can think of is that he most likely changed his name to not make it so obvious to find him, I am not sure how he is doing it but killing another player in game isn't possible, at least not with the headset these players are wearing... so how is he killing all these players? Kikuoka said that Kirito and I were being monitored and were safe from harmsway, I sure hope that he's got a good health keeper.
Meanwhile, in the real world
"Beep... Beep... Beep"
Mom: So this boy, Kazuto Kirigaya, he his also an SAO survivor?
Kikuoka: that is right, he along with your son are amongst the best in the best in that virtual world, you should see how many lives they were able to save.
Mom: As much as I appreciate the credit you are giving him, I certanily do not appreciate the request that you bestowed upon them. For god's sake, they are just kids!
Kikuoka: Look, I understand your frustrations but please know, they are doing this by their own choice, I did not force them to take it... though I did beg them for it. Please understand, your son and Kazuto Kirigaya are the only hope we have to capturing these criminals.
Mom: Oh for goodness sake... just please tell me that they will be alright.
Kikuoka: Rest assured, we have them monitored and assigned to one of the best nurses we have in the facility.
?: *she opens the door* Sorry I am late sir.
Kikuoka: Oh, speak of the devil. Ma'am, I would like you to meet, nurse Natsuki Aki.
Nurse Natsuki: Sargent first class Natsuki Aki, as long as I am here, I swear I will protect Kirigaya and Takayama. *she says with a solute*
Mom: Mm... alright, alright... still... I would at least love to know how he is doing...
Kikuoka: No need to worry *he grabs a remote* check it yourself.
As Kikuoka turns the TV on, the display of my previous battles was seen on screen.
Mom: is that...?
You: HREAAAAAAA! "SWOOOSH!"
Player: GAAAAAAAGH! "Dead"
Mom: (You)?
Kikuoka: that's right. Up until now, he has managed to defeat every player he came across, he is aiming for the massive showdown to this event called BoB. It is said that only the strongest of players are able to compete in it, and since this Death Gun person likes to kill only the strongest, we have high hopes that he will show up.
Mom: I cannot believe what I am seeing... I didn't even know he could move so fast!
Nurse Natsuki: For full disclosure, the boy you are seeing on screen is not actually your son but a replica, in other words, its his avatar. There is no possible way for a regular human to move at such speed, its only the game mechanics.
Mom: I see... this whole techinology stuff is getting over my head.
Player: TAKE THIIIIIIS! "Ta-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra!"
You: "Clank-clank-clank-clank"
The three of them observe the screen as I swiftly and acrobaticaly deflect the bullets.
Kikuoka: Well now, he is deflecting bullets. I think he is the first player to have ever done something like that.
Mom: my goodness, I still can't believe what I am seeing...
Nurse Natsuki: rest assured ma'am, as long as these two boys are under my care, I will not let anything happen to them.
Mom: Very well... I am counting on you.
Nurse Natsuki: You can leave it to me.
Mom: Mm... *she looks at the screen*
The screen displays winner as I deactivate my saber blade and warp out from the map.
Mom: (You)...
Meanwhile in SAO: Agils shop
Everyone was gathered with snacks and drinks as they all watched the three of us battle it out on the BoB event, it was like watching a gang of friends cheering for their favorite sport team.
"Winner Kirito"
Everyone: YEAAAAAH!
Yui: Way to go daddy! He striked them so fast they didn't even see it happening!
Lisbeth: Hahaha! Well how else did you exepct him to fight. That goes for (You) as well, this is a game about guns and there both using a sword to fight. Tipical of them.
Everyone: *they all laugh at her joke*
Sanya: I am not so sure how to feel about this...
Agil: what makes you say that?
Sanya: they both went on this mission for a purpose and I doubt it was to have fun.
Edis: Seems like they are having fun to me. I mean did you see the way (You) took down his first enemy, just one swing and he was done. I couldn't expect any less of him.
Koharu: oh so now you respect him, whatever happened to the hatred you felt towards him.
Edis: Eh, that's all in the past and besides, he earned that honor by fighting me with all he got and I can say for sure, he's got guts. No one other than Alice has been able to keep up with me.
Leafa: I guess I can't argue that he does have skills, I might have tought him a thing or two about sword fighting, I did train in a dojo league. With what I have learned, he's got skills.
Asuna: Why is this all about (You) all of a sudden? Kirito is in there two.,
Lisbeth: speaing of Kirito, he just won his second match, this stream is supposed to be live, right?
Koharu: from what Kikuoka told me, this next events will determine the players who are worthy to advance to something called the knockout round. I think its a battle to the death amongst the best of the best in GGO.
Klein: so its like a battle royal, huh. if that is the case... that might mean that they will haft to face each other at some point, (You) Kirito and Sinon. What are your bets?
Lisbeth: My bet is on Sinon, she's got more experience.
Silica: Mine is with Kirito.
Lisbeth: Oh yeah? And why is that? *she says with a smirk*
Silica: J-Just because I think he is strong, nothing else! *she says with a blushed face*
Lisbeth: Uh-huh, suuuure... *she says bumping her with her elbow*
Silica: L-Liz, knock it out!
Edis: My vote is on (You).
Koharu: Hmph, I wonder why?
Edis: What? Are you saying that you are not voting for him?
Koharu: Wha-Of course I am but that's besides the point. I am not even sure how I feel about this... Sanya is right, I don't think they are there to have fun... they are there on behalf of a request of Mr. Kikouka and I don't trust the guy.
Mito: Yeah, I guess I can see that. Still, there is nothing else we can do but watch, this livesteam are dispaying the battles they are just facing.
Strea: I just can't wait for my darling to come back home, I have a whole feast ready for him to try.
Everyone: Oh no...
Strea: hey, do you think we should all throw a party for them when they come back.
Klein: heck yeah, it will be like a welcome back home party!
Asuna: I guess throwing a small party for them woulnd't be such a bad idea, they have been gone for weeks. It hasn't been easy keeping a low profile for the rest of the Assault team, lucky for us, the floor bosses haven't been too strong for us to handle, we managed to get to floor 86 without them but people are already starting to get suspicious.
Mito: not to mention that it was not easy to convince them that we were going on a hunting quest instead of coming here to Agils shop to watch the top ranking members of the Assault team duel it out on a different game.
Yuna: I am sure that Nautilus can handle it, he didn't seem interested in coming so he's got nothing better to do.
Yuuki: whatever the case, we got an epic showdown to see. Hey look its starting, the countdown is going.
Asuna: Guess the next event is taking place.
Koharu: Let us see what those three can do.
Meanwhile, in BoB
I was standing in the same black voide I have seen two times now. The screen in front of me was displaying my next opponent. Zeliska.
You: Zeliska... she's that woman who explained me the works of the Arfa-sys.
Rei: Oh yeah, she also has a type-X, Daisy.
You: Looks like she is going to be a tricky one, with her Arfa-sys, she will also have an advantage.
Rei: Don't worry master, my orders were to help you defeat every opponent and that's what I am gonna do.
You: *I smile at her* thanks Rei. I am counting on you.
The two of us begin to warp in to the map and we are standing in a wide open zone map, there was barely any trees or buildings, only dead fields, dirt and large rocks.
Rei: Master, I am detecting movement from west side.
You: guess they are on the move towards us, I don't think they want to hide, I think they might want to see us first before fighting.
Rei: Should we do the same thing.
You: might as well, she kind of speaks like a big sister type, she might have something to say. Plus I doubt they are stupid enough to come here without a plan, she does have Daisy on her side and she has more experience.
Rei: What are you saying Master?! Are you saying that I am not as good as Daisy?! *she says with tears in her eyes*
You: N-No, that is not what I mean, I just mean that Daisy spended more time with her master, don't worry, we will spend a lot of time together as well.
Rei: Mm... *she pouts her face*
You: *I sigh* come on, lets just go.
Rei: Okay master...
With that, Rei and I advance through the open field and it wasn't hard to spot Zeliska and Daisy, in just a few seconds we met up.
Zeliska: Well, Well, we meet again.
Daisy: Confirmation, ID name (You) and prototype model Type-X A290-00, registered name: Rei. It's a pleasure to meet you again. *she says with a bow*
You: Zeliska and Daisy, right? Fancy seeing you two competing in the BoB event. I thought you didn't want to make it to the leader boards. That's why everyone calls you the uncrowned Queen.
Zeliska: Honestly I didn't really want to but some issues I have regarding the real world lead me to this. What a bother. Oh well, it made it worth it to see your faces again, sad to say that it had to be under these sircumstances. We are gonna haft to duel one another. But before we get to that, how about you start by telling me what you are doing in GGO instead of SAO.
You: Huh?! H-How-?
Zeliska: I have my ways of knowing. Don't worry, I won't expose you for it, I am merely curious.
You: Uh, well... it's classified information, its a request on behalf of the goverment.
Zeliska: I see... Well, guess I won't be getting any information here. Sorry to say that this conversation wasn't useful, guess it will haft to be for another time. In any case, shall we get going with our dual, the audience are waiting for our showdown.
You: O-Oh yeah, guess we should-
"Bang!"
You: Pugh! *I fall down*
Six fire shots were fired at my chest as Daisy fired her shotgun at me.
Zeliska: Don't let your opponent distract you, dear.
Rei: Hey! *she leaps in to the air and aims for the two of them* HEAAAAAA!
"Smaaash!"
Zeliska and Daisy both jump away from the attack as Rei punches the earth with her fist.
Zeliska: Ara, ara, you've been training her well. *she summons her weapon*
Zeliska seemed to wield an assault rifle.
"Ta-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra!"
You: igh!
Using my body, I roll through the dirt until eventually getting behind a rock.
Rei: Master, are you okay?
You: yeah, she just caught me off guard is all. Zeliska and Daisy are a pair we shouldn't underesmtimate, they both have been fighting together longer then we have, they are bound to have better strategies then we do.
Rei: What can we do Master?
You: You focus on Daisy, I will focus on Zeliska, we will watch and learn as they attack.
Rei: Arfa-sys versus Arfa-sys and Master versus master. Got it.
You: Ready...
Daisy and Zeliska both load up their weapons.
You: Now!
Rei and I get out from cover and begin running towards them.
Zeliska: "Ta-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra!"
With her bullets firing, I unleash my photon sword and begin deflecting the bullets as I cover ground between us. Meanwhile Rei was running with her arms free aiming towards Daisy, Daisy looked through her telescope and began shooting at Rei, Rei managed to dodge them with incredible movements, movements you only see in movies and not so long, she manages to get closer to Rei.
You: HREAAA!
Zeliska: Hmph!
"Clank!"
You: What the?!
My sword and her gun both faced impact.
Zeliska: you didn't think I wouldn't learn from those stunts you pulled yesterday, I had a few upgrades made on my rifle.
You: Hreaa!
"Clank-clank-clank!"
Without the assitince of a sword, Zeliska was actually managing to flank my sword with her gun and as she did.
"Ta-ra-ra!"
You: Ghigh!
The bullets managed to hit me. Meanwhile with Rei.
Rei: HEAAAA!
Daisy: Hmph!
With amazing speed, she dodges Rei's attack by sliding under her and-
Daisy: "Bang!"
Rei: Igh! *she falls down*
Daisy: Your moves are strong but not quick enough. *she says as she relouds*
Rei: Grr...
Both of them had their own strategies against us and they are working.
You: Hrraaa!
Zeliska: Hmph! *she parries my attack with her riffle*
You: Hmph! *I switch to my handgun* "bang-bang!"
Zeliska sees my handgun and swiftly dodges them jumping from one side to the other, the way she dodged them, kind of reminded me of Asuna's swift attacks.
Zeliska: "Ta-ra-ra-ra!"
The bullets hit me as she aimed for my torse.
You: Igh!
My Hp was lowering down and hers was still full.
Zeliska: You managed to make it this far, don't upset your fans.
Rei: GEAAAAA!
Daisy: Hmph! *she kicks Rei* "bang!"
Rei: igh!
You: Damn it... *I Grab my SFG*
Using my SFG, I swiftly grab Rei and make a retreat by climbing over rock and rock until we are out of their field of vision but it won't be long before they find us, Daisy must have an advanced scanner as well.
You: Rei, are you okay?
Rei: yeah, Daisy was faster then I thought.
You: Zeliska also seemed to have learned from my previous battles my attack strategies, how did she even managed to get her rifle that sturdy?
Rei: My guess... she probably used it with metal materials her Arfa-sys gave her.
You: What do you mean?
Rei: you know how parts are only visable to me and my master, well some materials can actually be crafted using those exact same parts. Sometimes you can even create weapons that don't even exist. The crafting system isn't only applied to Arfa-sys, all players have that feature but you can only use an Arfa-sys to craft materials from parts.
You: I see... guess she had an upper hand with her Arfa-sys, not to mention that she stills has the upper hand.
Rei: what do you want to do master?
You: they both have a strategy... we just need to come up with our own.
Rei: I await your orders master.
Meanwhile with Zeliska and Daisy
Daisy: Master, (You) and Rei are located two hundred meters from where we are, shall we proceed.
Zeliska: No, they will come out eventually, it's best if we don't waste our energy. For now, keep an eye on their movement.
Daisy: As you wish.
As Daisy kept her eyes on the two red dots on her radar, one dot begins to move further away from the other.
Daisy: One is on the move, it's (You).
Zeliska: It looks like they are either coming up or have already thought of a strategy. We don't know what Rei has up her sleve so we must be cautious, our advantage here is that they don't know what you have up your sleve either and neither do mine. We must be careful as we display our attack strategies, just like us, they can learn.
Daisy: As you wish master.
The other red dot begins to move in their directions.
Daisy: Rei is on the move, she is heading towards us.
Zeliska: (You) isn't the type to leave his Arfa-sys as a sacrifice, what could they have planned?
In a few feet, Rei was seen running towards them with her hands turning into machine guns.
Rei: "Tarararararararara!"
Daisy: igh! Master, Look out!
Mutliple bullets begin to pierce through the ground as Zeliska and Daisy take cover behind a rock but Rei kept firing and the rock fell apart.
Daisy: Igh!
Daisy's eye began to glow red and from it.
"Pew!'
Rei: huh?!
A red laser pierced through Rei's arm.
Rei: Igh!
Rei's arm fell on the ground and some cut off wires were only visable on her right arm.
Rei: A laser eye?
Daisy: You shouldn't have charged at us recklessly, now you are missing an arm.
Rei: I wasn't being reckless... I was just distracting you.
Daisy: What do you mean-? igh!
As Daisy looks up, she sees three smoke bombs coming down.
Daisy: Master, look out!
"Boom-Boo-Boom!"
The smoke bombs explode into gas and the entire area where Zeliska and Daisy were standing on is filled with smoke, making them unable to see.
Zeliska: "Cough-cough" Daisy, where are-? Igh!
Zeliska is scratched with a weapon but couldn't tell from who it was.
Zeliska: Igh!
"Ta-ra-ra!"
Zeliska: Igh!
Zeliska couldn't tell from her left and right, due to the smoke screen, she couldn't see where she was going or aiming.
Zeliska: Daisy, activate your swing bluster!
Somewhere in the smoke, Daisy began to create a small tornado as she began to swirl her body in amazing speeds, the winds captured the smoke and then.
Daisy: HAAA!
Diasy throws the wind into the fields and the smoke covers the land with dust.
Zeliska: Nice job Daisy, but where is-
Daisy: master!
Daisy pushes Zeliska away as I jump down from a rock and slash Daisy's body in half, as I do, her HP reaches Zero and disappears into red particles.
Zeliska: Igh!
As Zeliska looks up, she sees me holding my handgun right on her forehead. Her Assault rifle dropped a few feet away as Daisy pushed her away, so now, even if she had a secondary weapon, she will not be able to summon it in time, I had her down.
Zeliska: Uh... *she smiles* Well, it looks like you managed to come up with a strategy after all.
You: If I am being honest, it was more of a distraction then a strategy. I knew that you and Daisy had more tricks up your sleves, that move Daisy displayed with her eye and body, they were impressive. If anything, this was just a quick plan to outmatch you, my goal wasn't you, it was Daisy.
Zeliska: I see... *she raises her hands* I surrender.
You: heh, good. *I put my gun away* By the way, this is my first time seeing an Arfa-sys die, is Daisy-
Zeliska: Don't worry, she is fine. As long as my account is still active, she will always live. Right now she has been teleported back to the waiting hall. But it might take a while to fix her.
You: Heh, sorry about that.
Rei: master.
You: Rei... your arm.
Rei's left arm was still missing with only the cut wires visable.
Zeliska: Looks like you are gonna haft to get her repaired when you get back. Since she is still alive, that arm won't come back unless you fix her or gets killed and is returned to the waiting area. Do know though, if she does get killed, you can't use her in the next matches.
You: I see... sorry Rei.
Rei: Don't worry master, it's just an arm.
You: how can I fix her?
Zeliska: using the Arfa-sys menu. You can use materials that you have gathered from mobs and turn them into repair materials. They don't cost you and it is pretty simple.
You: I see, thanks Zeliska.
Zeliska: I do hope we meet again, hopefully we won't have to face each other again. Resign.
A notification pops in front of her and as she places her hand, the screen above shows Zeliska surrendering and my name labeling the winner.
A few minutes later
Rei and were teleported back to the waiting hall and I was tending to Rei's wounds.
You: Okay... so then I use this... and then these other materials... I didn't think it would require so much.
Rei: Arfa-sys are pretty unique so materials for our repairments would be unique too.
You: I see... then lastly we need sixty of these and... there.
As I press create in the menu, Rei's arm begins building up and her arm is all better.
Rei: *she opens her and closes her palm* My left arm is operational.
You: Good, cause the next match is about to begin.
Rei: Hey master.
You: what is it Rei?
Rei: Well... Am I useful to you?
You: Huh? Where is that coming from?
Rei: Well... the way Daisy fought... I couldn't keep up with her. She and Zeliska had us cornered dispite our best efforts...
You: Zeliska and Daisy have spent more time playing this game than the two of us, its only natural that they be good together.
Rei: But are we good?
You: hmm?
Rei: up until now, I've only been able to get strong because of your guidence. It is my job as your Arfa-sys to serve you and take care of you but sometimes I feel like it is the other way around.
You: What's so wrong about that? Who cares if I take care of you and you take care of me? That's what partners do, they have each others back, like the way you backed me up through that smoke screen, Zeliska couldn't see you but I could, your job was to only distract them not attack them.
Rei: Well... when Daisy shot you... I don't know what happened to me. I felt like... I needed to do something... but I am an Arfa-sys, I am incapable of such things. I am designed to only follow my masgters orders.
You: You were designed with the same technology this other little girl I know of. She is... incredible, she is capable of understanding human emotions. Even though she is not a human, she feels like one. Just because you are an Arfa-sys, it doesn't mean that you are not worthy of such thoughts. I gave you free will, so choose whatever you decide to do is right.
Rei: Master... so I am useful to you?
You: You have been and I am proud. *I pat her*
Her head was down but I could tell that she was smiling. Something about it, made me want to continue spoiling her. But before I could do anything, our bodies were on the next match. The screen above displayed my name along with... Itsuki.
You: Crap...
Rei: What is the matter master?
You: Our next opponent is Itsuki. He is a strong player, he is even the leader of his own squad. Don't know how his reputation is with the squad though.
Rei: But he doesn't have an Arfa-sys, I think he will be easier to handle.
You: Don't get your hopes up, we must not understimate these players no matter who they are. For now, let us continue the fight.
Rei: Right, I will guide you through the map.
You: Good.
3... 2... 1...
Rei and I are warped into the field map and it looked to be the insides of an inner dungeoun. Unlike the cave like dungeouns I am used to seeing, this one looked futuristic, almost like a space battleship.
You: Looks like this will be the map in where we will fight Itsuki.
Rei: I am sensing movement... But... it's moving to fa-
"Bang!"
Rei: AAAH!
Rei falls down as small blast pierce through her and from there, Itsuki shows up in front of me with his non-optical Assualt rifle.
Itsuki: Well, well, if itsn't the lucky shot.
You: And Itsuki, the guy that has a bunch fangirls alway cheering for him but always brushes them out.
Itsuki: Hehe, still having your sense of humor. I remember seeing you the first day in that dungeoun, i've always been curious to the ways you face off in the battlefield, it's not the same as others, you throw a sense of... strong will, to put it precise. I don't know, I am just merely rambling here.
You: I've never been the type to show off if I am being honest, still I don't appreciate the way you shot my Arfa-sys. "SWOOOOSH!"
I dash at full speed and attempt to uppercut Itsuki before managing to dodge my attack with perfect timing.
You: Hope you don't mind a few scratches.
Itsuki and I begin to battle as the two of us dash through the map, me slashing my photon sword and him shooting his non-optical bullets.
"Pew-pew-pew!"
"Boom-Boom!"
The room was filled with a few oil barels so everytime I dodged a bullet, an oil barrel would blow and everytime I swung and he dodged, chunks of the wall would fall out with dust coming out.
The two of us dashed through the map with incredible speed, needless to say that I wasn't surprised that he could keep up with me, they did say that he was in the top tanks.
Itsuki: I gotta say, you got skills. I think I am starting to see that there is more to your attack then just luck.
You: I don't based my matches on luck, this isn't the first time I faced players who had the urge to kill me but I yet still haven't found a one who has been able to kill me! HREAAA! "SWOOOOSH!"
Itsuki manages to dodge my sword attack and then lunches a few smoke screen granades and my entire field of vision is covered in smoke.
Itsuki: you know, you remind me a lot about myself, I've been the lucky type as well. People would always cheer me for being the strongest but if there is one thing I noticed from all that cheering is that there is always something lurking in the crowd.
You: Hmm... (I can't see him, where is Rei?)
Itsuki: Someone who is watching and learning. You can't always rely on friends you know, that is something that you must know. "Pew!"
You: Igh! "Clank!" *I deflect the bullet"
Itsuki: Surely you should know as well. I am sure that you expreinced betrayel at some point in the past.
You: (While although he is not wrong that I have faced betrayel in the past, I have yet to find out who the traitor in our group even is) You are speaking like as if you have expierienced it, did someone betray you?
Itsuki: Betrayed? "Pew!"
You: "Clank"
Itsuki: for that to be true, I'd have had to have been on their side to begin with. I admit that having them around was fun... but deep down, I knew it was too good to be true. "Pew!"
You: "Clank"
after a while, the smoke begins to fade and Itsuki was standing right in front of me with his Assault rifle at and but not aiming.
Itsuki: You however, you have displayed a unique way of battle. A sense of will that I have never seen from any other player, I noticed it when you battled that spider mech back in the event dungeoun.
You: Hmm...
Itsuki: I must say, your personality, strength and will are all a mystery to me, makes me want to figure you out even more. *he says with a smile*
You: (Not sure if he is a curious kind of guy... or he is just a fanboy) Well, I don't usually like to share my thoughts and feelings to just anybody but I do like to see if wrether he or she has a lot more ways of thinking in the same levels of my thoughts and feelings. Maybe we can get to understand each other better, seeing as how you are interestid in me.
Itsuki: Whoa now, are you asking me out on a date?
You: No way, I am taken. But a outing wouldn't be too bad.
Itsuki: I would like that but out in the battlefield.
You: Deal. But before that, wave hello to Rei.
Itsuki: what do you-Pugh!
Rei then jumps from the zip-line that she made with her rope and tackles Itsuki to the ground while his guard was down.
You: *I load my gun and aim at his head* This is it.
Itsuki: Heheh, damn I got cocky. Looks like you are a lucky shot, well I guess this is it, your Arfa-sys is to heavy for me to get off.
Rei: H-Heavy?
You: See you again Itsuki.
Itsuki: Heh... look forward to it.
"Bang!"
Winner: (You)!
Fangirls: NOO! ITSUKI!
Crowd of gamers: *they all shout in disbilief*
You: *I spawn in the waiting area* phew...
Rei: Master, I suffered a few injuries when I took the hit.
You: Oh, your chest is a bit banged up, come on lets get you fix.
After taking Rei away from the crowded area, I fixed her up and also resuplied her with some items, ammo, granades, stuff like that.
You: Okay, that should do it.
Rei: Master...
You: Hmm? What is it?
Rei: Am I fat?
You: What?
Rei: Am I fat?
You: I-I-I-eh-uh... What kind of question is that?

I don't like to talk about strategies, so I will keep it brief. I found cover and figured out my next steps. I knew that Kirito would try to close in on me, using the shadows for cover, my only chance was to shoot him before he figured out my location. It felt weird though, I always wanted to fight strong players, I knew that someday I even would have challenged (You) and/or Kirito, their both the strongest players I've ever known and seen. Still... I felt guilt inside of me. He... along with everyone else have done nothing but treat me like family... I am a coward... every time I see a gun, I freak out... but the me here... its different, in here I feel strong... I feel like I can get pass my horrible mistake and move on...
Sinon: Mm...

My heartrate was going up and my bullet circle was starting to shrink and spread rapidly... I didn't know if he was teasing me or actually had no idea I was hiding.

The bullet only misses Kirito and instead hits a truck behind which then explodes in impact.
Sinon: *pant-pant* "BANG! BANG!"
Each shot I made was flawless, I just kept missing him.
Rei: Why isn't Kirito attacking?
You: He is trying to make Sinon lose her concentration. He knows she has a sharp eye... so instead of her intimidating him, he's intimidating her, a pretty bold move.
"BANG! BANG! BANG!"
Sinon: Grr! That's it...
I had enough of his game, I went out from my cover and faced him face to face.
Sinon: I don't know what your deal is but we knew what would happend if we'd face each other, so fight me!
Kirito: ...
Sinon: Honestly, all this is messing my head. I don't know what to believe anymore... do you think I am just not worth the effort.
Kirito: You got it all wrong, Sinon. Our goal is to get to the final, there is no reason to fight.
Sinon: Look, I don't care if there is or there is not a reason, this match and event means a lot to me, I was very much looking forward to a fight with you and (You). This place is just a game... just one stupid game... they don't know what it's like to suffer, just because they think it's a game it doesn't mean I do!

Kirito: Sinon... we've been through so much together. You really think that I wouldn't just think of this place as just a game? Our moments in SAO are something I cherish. Sure, its a terrifying game... but it's also the game that help me build character, a character that I didn't believe I had inside.

Sinon: which is why I honestly hate you guys... I never felt connection to anyone much less a sense of closure... you guys have made me into something... I didn't believe I would be...

Kirito then grabs a bullet and takes in his hand as he puts away is handgun.
Kirito: got any bullets left on you or are you out?
Sinon: yeah, I got one.
Kirito: Okay, so here's how its going to go. I am going to toss this bullet up in the air, we will stand ten meters away from each other, once it hits the ground we will fight, you with your sniper and me with my sword.
Sinon: Wait, if we're ten meters away there's no way you're going to see the bullet line in time and I can guarantee you I'll hit you.
Kirito: we won't know for sure if you try.
Sinon: Hmm... (Why is he acting so confident? Does he have a plan or something? Whatever it is, I am ready for it...) alright... if that's how you want it, lets go.
He then adds the ten meters in our distance and he prepares the bullet.
Sinon: (He does have a plan...)
Carefully, I aim for his leg and reload my sniper.
Kirito: here we go... *he tosses the bullet*
The bullet is shot in the air and he prepares his photon sword, the bullet was biginning to fall down...

The bullet hit the ground... and I pulled the trigger.
"Bang!"
"Clank!"
In my total surprise, he manages to deflect my bullet.
Sinon: (No way! That's impossible!)
He gave me no time to think, as soon as he deflected it, he held my close to his photon sword near my neck.
Sinon: no way... how...? How did you know I was aiming for your leg?
Kirito: I knew because I could see your eye through your telescope.
He knew, that's how he predicted my bullets path.
Sinon: I don't understand... how? How is it that you two can wield such strength and still be afriad...
Kirito: your wrong, it's not strenght it's just a skill.
Sinon: No, that's not true, it requires strength to do so and all I wan't is to know how to get it... *I say with tears in my eyes*
You: Oh Sinon... why can't you just tell us...?
Sinon: (You) commited murder and yet he still lives his life like it was nothing... I wan't to know how to do that... I want to be like him...
Kirito: Sinon... It's not up to me to dicide what you wan't to do with your life but if this is how you feel, don't you think you should talk to him about it. If something did happened to you, he will know and understand... so will I. We're your friends and we don't want you to bare this guilt alone.
Sinon: Uh...
He's right... I need to explain what happened... maybe then, I can get an answer...
Kirito: Anyways, I think this makes me the winner.
Sinon: H-Huh? Oh yeah...
Kirito: Well, you don't mind surrendiring then? I am not a huge fan at slashing girls.
You: Well, guess we know who won. But if those two don't stop holding each other close, people will get the wrong impression.
Sinon: U-Uh! Yeah sure. Anyways, I fought you so now (You) is the only one missing. He made it to the finals, right? Well then he better watch his butt cause I am coming for him next. Resign!
The notification pops in front of her and she presses her palm and resigns.

With that, Sinon resigns and the winner is Kirito.
Rei: Looks like you were right Master, Kirito won.
You: Yup. Sinon may be skilled enough in the game but Kirito's got more survival insitincts and guts to knock her off her feet.
Rei: Well, I guess this concludes the first five matches of BoB.
You: Yup... and tomorrow is the big showdown. Hopefully we will find out who this Death gun person is. For now, let's head back and get some rest.
Rei: Alright Master!
