Prompt: "I'm not a thief. I'm just really good at acquiring things that aren't mine."

To say that Ra had been slightly confused for the last few minutes seemed like a bit of an understatement. As the Archivist, she was not allowed to speak or help during the conclave unless she was appointed to be counsel before it was called (the rules were all rather murky to her, since Judson didn't delve too deeply into it), but she was allowed to be in the room, at least. So, Ra had been sat at her desk in the Annex's main workroom as Jenkins and Jones had worked to keep Dulaque in check.

The Archivist had just been glaring at said man when the Back Door cackled to life. Out popped Flynn, looking slightly more deranged than expected. And he seemed to be talking nonsense, especially when Jacob, Baird, and Cassandra came through the Back Door and he shooed them, Jenkins, and Jones out of the workroom.

Taking advantage of the fact that the Librarian had (once again) not noticed her presence, Ra snuck away from her desk and sat on the table in front of one of the glass-less windows, on the other side of which stood the others. Cassandra spoke up. "We need to get that apple away from him. It makes people evil."

She could practically hear the smirk in Jones's voice. "I can get it."

The Archivist rolled her eyes before she tuned out their conversation. If Flynn didn't stop talking about taking over the world, she was going to have to intervene. Luckily, Jenkins had (apparently) come up with a plan, as he had come in and began to berate the Librarian. Ra smirked when she saw Jones deftly remove the Apple of Discord from Flynn's pocket before the unlikely team walked over to her.

Baird sounded incredulous as they watched Jones toss the apple into the air. "You pick-pocketed the apple?"

Jones smirked and nodded. "Yeah! Jenkins distracted him. Pretty neat."

Cassandra sounded a bit hesitant. "Are you evil?"

"No. Don't feel any different."

Jacob sounded slightly confused. "Are you immune?"

"Nope." Ra popped the "p" as she answered. "He's just already the worst version of himself."

Jones gave her an unamused look. "You say that like it's a bad thing. I'll have you know that I'm a thief. I am really good at acquiring things that aren't mine."

"Whatever helps you get through the day."

Baird cut in before Jones could retort. "What were you thinking?"

The Researcher shared a look with Ra before chuckling. "I was actually just thinking that I now appreciate the advantage of having both a librarian and a thief."
