Tenya and Momo planned the wedding week to end all wedding weeks— if one was into that sort of thing. Four experiences of flights, fun, food, friends, and family leading up to the big day that was guaranteed to blow my sobriety to smithereens, if not for my pressing mission to win Izuku's heart. I figure, there's no better time in life than on a wedding trip to profess my love. It's only been twenty-one years. His committed relationship is irrelevant when stacked against our history.

Phase One: a chartered private jet to the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

( ◣∀◢)ψ

The Ingeni-Jet was a restored fighter jet customized for leisure and designed after his family's Quirk. Everything was engineered to support the three sets of Ingenium-inspired mufflers on each wing; cutting through the atmosphere at such a high velocity that guaranteed a swift and smooth flight, slicing travel time in half while cutting the private jet's would-be large carbon footprint in half. Its wings also doubled as wind turbines, generating speeds that served as enough wind energy to blow away all air pollution in a hundred-mile radius of its flight path. The all-white exterior was lined by a solid navy strip from the nose of the plane until it diverged into three mufflers at the tail. The inside smelled and looked like wood and wealth. My boy had done quite well for himself in my exile. The four-hour trip would be in style.

As I look around quietly astonished by the intricate attention to the details Iida paid to the interior, sensing Momo's influence in the execution, something catches my eye.

Or rather, someone.

That wild, green bushel of hair made my heart beat into focus. I see him sitting in the first window seat looking outside the large window and the contents of my brief chat with Todoroki outside of the gift shop are long gone; all my mind can process is how stunning Deku's profile is. His hair is tapered into a short-cropped bush. His taut jawline and gentle eyes are ever handsome as if I didn't see all this, cradling it in my palms less than twenty-four hours ago. Except this time, he's wearing a vintage All Might tracksuit.

Of course, he is.

But his mind seems elsewhere. Distantly beyond the clouds we're soon to fly through. I tip my head down his row.

"Oi, Earth to Nerd!" I smoothly chuckle, schooling my face from looking like too much of a fanboy. (But, don't be mistaken. I AM A HUGE Deku the Pro Hero FANBOY.) He turns his head and I'm smiling, happy to meet his green gaze, but Izuku's face is illegible. This is...uncomfortable. I glance at the empty soft leather chair across from him. "Seat taken?"

I hadn't intended for my tone to mimic the lustful growl I used when my tongue was in his mouth just a day ago, but it's not like I plan on hiding my intentions. His eyes widen as he shifts his body weight to face me.

"Kacc- I mean, Katsuki! Um..." I like how vulnerable he looks when he's startled, like a bunny under duress; those damn cute freckles where whiskers should be. He raises his left arm to scratch his nape. The sunlight hits that damned gold bracelet he never takes off and it shines in my eyes. A blood vessel constricts in my forehead.

"Why are you being so awkward, Nerd?" A swift, freezing blow answers my question and pierces my side. The unexpected drop in temperature damn near knocked me out of my senses. My Quirk pops inside of me. I grunt and swing back. Todoroki shoves me to the wall and sits in the empty seat, cooling the Stun Grenade I've pushed back in his face.

"Of course, it is," he grinds out. "Idiot. You're in my way."

"Shoto!" Izuku gasps, teeth chattering. Maybe the ice splintering my insides is making me delirious, but... Is Deku reaching out to catch me from falling?

Todoroki's gotten faster since the last time we fought. "Are you dumb? We're in a fucking high-powered machine. Don't blow us up again and ruin my best friends' wedding, you prick."

"Yeah, whatever! He's my friend, too!"

Izuku waves his hands at us to stop. "Guys, let's be civil here! This trip is about Iida," he begs.

"And I'm still the superior fighter, Icy Hot! Don't you ever forget that," I pant down the aisle at him as Kiri drags me back to our pod. Izuku kisses his Shoto's temple, quickly and quietly soothing him with the affection and attention I crave. As their heads press together, a new seed of envy sprouts within me. Even as the distance widens between us on the jet, it's maddeningly obvious that they're still deeply in love.

What pure, radiant bullshit!

I hadn't anticipated being so affected seeing them be a couple again. I'd need to tighten up, or how will I survive the next seven days? Maybe I didn't have to. The cabin doors are still open. We just took our seats; my seatbelt wasn't even clipped yet. I still have time to leave if I so desire, which, I do, because I don't want to be throwing up every time I look at them. Now's my chance.

Tenya runs onto the aircraft and closes the cabin doors the second Shinso boards apologizing for being the last to arrive.

Well. Fuck. I wasn't expecting that.

"All right, my comrades! Everyone's here now, so let's do a roll call! I will call your name in order of arrival time, so please respond accordingly."

Kami's face melts. "See! I knew he'd hold it against us!" I roll my eyes.

"Alright, Midoriya and Todoroki came with me..." Tenya announces, checking off a clipboard that appeared out of nowhere.

"Of course they did," I sneer, whispering to Kiri as the happy couple announces their presence with different tones of "here". Kiri shakes his head at me and listens on.

"Then it was...Tokoyami and Sato."
"Present."

"I baked cupcakes!"

"Koda, Shoji, and Ojiro all rode together."

"We're all here, pal!" Ojiro's tail wags. Koji and Mezo wave from their pod.

"Alright, then it was...Mineta?"

"I actually came with Tokoyami and Dark Shadow, the balls to forget me, man!"

"My apologies, Mineta. I forgot you hid under Dark Shadow until you arrived."

"I was sleepy!" The tiny man contests.

"Okay, calm down. Then it was...Yoarashi. Thank you for being here, man."

"Are you kidding me? It always blows me away hanging out with Todoroki and his UA buds! Thanks for the invite!" Yoarashi's louder than me when I'm angry, but he's smiling from ear to ear. Shoto looks back at him and they exchange warm nods. How annoying.

Bakugo, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero?"

I grunt.

"Live and electrified!"

"We're ready for a manly week of bonding!"

"Let's stick together, boys!"

"And finally, Shinso. Glad you made it on time because had it been a second later, that door would've shut in your face." Kami glares at me as Tenya reprimands Shinso, his eyes screaming, I told you so!

"Heh, sorry about that. I was stuck in traffic," Shinso blushes. "I had to use my Quirk on with my rideshare driver."

"Well, that's all right. Not you brainwashing Scüber driver, but it's nice to see it was all sorted out. Now! Time for takeoff! Fasten your seatbelts, listen to our flight attendants for the trip, Kimi and Sal, and let my bachelor trip begin!"

.

The flight itself was fine. My Quirk burned out at the onset of frostbite and the little energy I had left to give a damn. So, I didn't care that he was obnoxiously being publicly affectionate and territorial over Izuku. It didn't bother me that he always seemed to find a reason to touch him, sit beside him or on him, kissing him whenever I was looking in Izuku's direction. (The silly thing is, I wasn't even trying to…when we were dapping up the rest of the guys; as our backs grazed when I went to store my duffle overhead; before finally taking our seats for takeoff…but we kept meeting finding the other already looking.

(Okay, maybe I tried to catch his eye once or twice.)But it was satisfying to know I was getting to the fag.

The seating arrangements must've been assigned before I arrived in Japan, let alone kissed Izuku. At first, I couldn't give a rat's ass about how Izuku and Shoto had strategically stayed in the only two-person pod while the rest of the boys of Class A rotated between seats in pods of four. Even Iida, Sero, Yoarashi, and Shinso were sitting together opposite them. Everyone was giving them space. The flight attendants start serving in-flight refreshments and, for no particular reason, I glance at Shinso peeking at the love birds with a smoldered longing in his eyes, and laugh to myself sardonically. I guess Shoto still isn't my only competition. He catches me staring at him and darts his focus out the window.

"Damn, seeing those two up there being all lovey-dovey and whatnot up there is making me miss my Mina, man," Kiri sighs on my right, dreamily staring at Deku and Icy Hot engrossed in a playful game of thumb war for the last cupcake Sato made.

And they call themselves grown men.

They've been going at it for five minutes straight, drawing the others to opposing sides. That loud-ass wind guy, Yoarashi, cheers so loud there was turbulence. Iida starts scolding him while refusing to choose sides. Meanwhile, Sero's bitch ass is coaching Shoto on how to win against One for All.

"I know, right? I wish my hero, Jiro, was here so that I could make them laugh," Kami pouts looking over the back of his chair. "We should've been able to fly with the girls."

"Yo, gimme a break! We're not even going to the same destination yet, and didn't you dummies wake up beside your girlfriends this morning?"

Kami blinks at me. "Your point?" He's on forced phone-charging duty and has been known to fry devices when provoked, so I let it go. I didn't really have one; just jealousy broiling over being the only one of my boys not to have locked down the love of their life.

"Ugh! Forget it! Just don't get so distracted in love that you kill my battery," I grumble, rotating myself to stare at the pillowy white clouds outside my window.

But as I sat beside Kiri, Kami, and Mineta, it annoyed me that we were on opposite ends of the plane. I want to talk to Izuku about what happened in my room…among other things, but now isn't the time. We'd taken off an hour ago and had been cleared to move around the cabin, and thanks to Kami, Mineta, and Dark Shadow turning the interior into a gentleman's club with two private dancers and a casino card dealer in flight, too many drinks were flowing and the good times were rolling. It became too rowdy to casually walk through the aisle to the front of the plane. I recline in my plush extra-large seat and yell over the music.

"Yo, Groom of Doom! Why the fuck are those dweebs separated from the rest of us?" I demand.

"This guy is a pro hero in New York for a few measly years and can't stop saying 'Yo' like a Yankee," Kami's zinger hits harder when I stop to wonder if I'd still be in the city of dreams and nightmares if Tenya never visited me.

Mineta lifts a skeevy eyebrow. "Is that how you got the American hotties, Bakugo? How many did you smash? Are their ass and tits as big as they look on TV?" I've always hated his congested, nasally voice, so I ignored that purple-balled perv's questions. He shakes me by my leather jacket's lapels. "Tell me, Bakugo! I need to know how it felt to squeeze—"

I yank and toss him back in his seat, rolling my eyes, I remind him, "We're grown now. Stop being such a fucking creep, man."

Tenya walks toward the back of the plane. His signature serious mug and upright posture, replaced by a jovial smile and a loose saunter with the help of the iced cocktail in his hand, tells me he's having a good time. Shoji, Koda, Ojiro, and Sato are in the center of the aircraft playing card games. Tenya stops in front of their game and clears his throat.

"Ahem!" He grabs hold of a seatback to keep from swaying. From the looks of it, it was a simple whiskey and cola on the rocks, but the way his strong legs had turned to limp noodles, it wouldn't have been wrong to mistake it for absinthe. "Somebody, lift a couple of window shades. I have a speech and I need some light to give it," he slurs his words, turning to Tokoyami. "Sincerest of apologies, Dark Shadow."

The shadow monster shrugged, raising its arms. "Eh. It's cool. I could use a nap."

"Dawg, Ingenium! How many drinks have you already had?" Kiri asked, concerned but not judging. After all, this whole experience was to celebrate him.

"A few," he stated with a dignified head tilt. "Anyway… my brothers of Class A! At last! We are gathered together once again. Yes, to celebrate marrying the love of my life, my dearest, Yaoyorozu." Cheers and whoops followed. Tenya raised a stiff hand to silence the applause. "I know, thank you, thank you. However, that caps off this epic weekend. But for now, we are boys enjoying my bachelor trip and the ensuing parties of brotherhood!"

"Hell yeah!"

"I just want to thank my brother, best friend, and Best Man, Midoriya, for orchestrating the next forty-eight hours for us. I can't wait to see what your flavor of neuroticism has cooked up apart from the things I have already pre-approved." Izuku's bubbly laugh set off an eruption of butterflies in my stomach.

I rubbed the nitroglycerin pricking my palms on my jeans just to keep calm. It'd been ages since I heard that lighthearted chuckle tickle my ears. My heart thrummed with longing to be alone with him again, to make him laugh like that.

"Don't worry, Iida. I still got a few tricks up my sleeve," he nodded. His arm was around Shoto's shoulder while he fanned a composition notebook in the air at Tenya. The guy was not easy to surprise or impress, so the overjoyed expression on his face made everyone laugh. I craned my neck down the aisle to find his sweetly smiling face being kissed. Todoroki's eyes cut open at me— a warning.

I leaned back in my seat, stretching my crossed legs to fully recline, and threw my hands behind my head. He wanted me to break my gaze first. Two could play that game. I let my face slowly shift into a smug grin and locked my eyes on him. Then winked. Shoto stood up and walked to the front of the plane.

"Splendid!" Tenya beamed. He moved on, sorrow coating his tongue. "Unfortunately, though it makes sense, we are one brother down." What a drama queen.

"Yeah, where is he? I brought a lemon-glazed chiffon cupcake just for him," the Sweets Hero frowned.

"He's with the girls," Kiri announced, shaking his phone in the air. "Mina said they're eating sushi and caviar and sipping Dom. Where's our sushi and caviar? We need champagne, too!"

"Yes, alright, calm down, Red Riot. And thank you Sato for the personalized desserts. As we all know, Aoyama is an honorary member of the Gal Pals—"

"Um, actually, they're calling themselves the Bridal Baddies for the week, Ingenuim" Ojiro's thick tail flopped to the other side of the aisle, tickling Iida's ankles as he spoke.

Tenya stood still like he couldn't feel a thing. "And the ladies were adamant he'd have more fun on the bachelorette trip, so we will not be reunited with our brother until our class reunion in Bali on Thursday. But we shall still have fun and remain united in brotherly love. Though everyone couldn't be in the bridal party, you're all my family. My brothers." He closed his eyes and somberly beat his chest. How adorable. My friend is sloshed.

I lean on Kiri and whisper, "Oi, what's up with all this brotherhood talk? It's cringe as hell."

"Oh, he's been focusing his entire life's work on brotherhood since his older brother died."
"Shit! When did that happen?"

"Mmm…" Kiri scratches his scalp, thoughtfully staring at the marble paneling. "A little under two years ago?"

I cursed under my breath, floored. "Damn. I had no clue." Kiri flashed me an understanding, yet pitiful look my way then focused his attention back on Tenya. How deep in my own shit was I that I didn't know that one of my truest friends had lost his biggest role model and idol? I stared at Tenya's strict face. That was around the time he came to New York to see me. It's a miracle he even still called me friend, let alone sped on foot around the world to invite me to be a groomsman.

I can be a real shitty human being to the people I love.

"I trust that you've all had a chance to review the week's itinerary on our wedding app. Be sure to read through it thoroughly because my dearest and I have gone through the painstaking trouble to ensure any and every question you might have this week is answered to the letter, from your lodging accommodations to how we have catered to your dietary restrictions, to event times, dress code, as well as your duties and don'ties this week…" He flicks a glance my way before turning around to see everyone, and my heart stops at the silent callout. "Now, I shall apprise you of the schedule for today."

(I dissociated from all that.

I can't stop peering at them in the front. They look strong together. Happy to share that fucking cupcake. Deku once handed me a cupcake at a class party and I shoved it in his face. Shoto fed Deku a bite and Deku licked some icing off Shoto's face. It's hard to look at but difficult to ignore because their love looks, feels, and reads like the real deal. They're so delicate and in sync with one another that it sucks to witness their simple devotions up close. How they did things for one another like a choreographed fight sequence of who could outdo the other with acts of kindness. Their magnetism as a couple wasn't the wildfires between Deku and me, where one of us eventually explodes on the other. It was a spark and steady flame of physical affection and compliments. A delicate dance of the compassion to adjust one's pillow and the consideration to unpack the other's favorite travel snacks. Kissing and cuddling, kindness and kink. The good my absence did to strengthen their intimacy and bond over all these years caused me to reach for a glass.

How fucking annoying!)

"So, let's remember why we're here together: to celebrate love, to have fun camaraderie as Class A, and to make awesome memories of our fleeting youth. There is a camera feature to capture moments and our own private social media platform to share without the stares of our fans and foes. In the...say it with me—" He sloshes his drink side to side to prompt us. We all echoed in unison like we were back in Aizawa's homeroom.

"In the wedding app," we groan.

"Precisely! Oh- you guys know I believe in working hard without being uptight." He spins around one more time, being sure to catch my eye. "But if you plan on doing drugs, please know your limit, and do it off of the Ingeni-Jet. I have standards of dignity to maintain with my aircraft staff, and don't embarrass me."

Mineta stands in his seat to get a full view of our forever class rep. "Hey! If you're gonna call me out like that, at least say my name, Iida!"

"No need. You undoubtedly got the memo, Grape Rush," Tenya replies then downs the rest of his drink.

I stand up. "Alright, enough with the fuckass procedures and protocols! The only two rules we need are one: no hero names allowed all week, and two—" Making my way closer to Izuku with the seltzer water I'd been babysitting in hand—(no, I'm not wrecking my sobriety over this)—and raise it like a flute glass. "Cheers to our Forever Class Rep and brother, THEE motherfuckin' Tenya Iida! A real one since day one! Congratulations on finding your perfect match in Yao-momo!"

Izuku's face beams at me. Tenya tips an invisible hat my way, eyes twinkling. "Well. The second one wasn't exactly a rule…" he points out, "But thank you, Bakugo. Here, here! Cheers to me and my future Missus!" The boys of Class A cheer with melting glasses and bottles as Shoto returns to the main cabin carrying a tray of filled champagne flutes.

"Aw shit, Todoroki, hate to be a bummer, but," I kiss my teeth and pull a face. "You just missed the toast."

"It's bad luck to toast with an empty glass, idiot," Shoto snarked as he passed Tenya a flute filled to the brim with bubbly alcohol, and took his empty glass. He passed the tray to one of Shoji's extended arms but swiped two— one for him and one for who…else would it be for? He whispers something into Izuku's ear that makes him bloom pink and swat his arm. It's disgusting to keep looking at, so I swipe a flute from one of Shoji's approaching appendages. (No, I'm not drinking, but I won't let Shoto catch me slipping.)

"Anyway," Shoto grumbles. "Now, for a proper toast to the Groom. My best friend is marrying her other best friend." It wasn't even funny but those idiots all laughed. "But seriously, as the Man of Honor—" Shots says, looking at Izuku standing beside him. They held hands without looking. "And as your Co-Best Men, we're delighted to celebrate your and Momo's love. True love between two people who choose each other every single day. Here is the first of a few small tokens of gratitude for your friendship from us to you. May your love with the loveliest woman we all know last forever." Kimi, the flight attendant, enters carrying a small silver tray with a large black box in it and hands it to Shoto.

Wiping his tears with one sleeve, "That was a beautiful speech, baby," Izuku tenderly rubs Shoto's back. Some things never change, Deku's still a fucking crybaby.

"Aw, thanks, my love," Shoto coos, self-satisfied. They peck each other and I unwittingly drown my disgust with champagne to keep from gagging.

"Hey, man? You okay?" Kiri whispers behind me. I fiercely nod, swatting him away. It would kill the vibe for Tenya to heckle them right now. I'm a hater, but I'm not cruel. Anymore. "Okay...it's just...y'know...you're trying to remain sober, remember?"

"It's cool, Eijiro. It was just one sip. I'm fine. See?" I grab an unopened bottle of water from Shinso before he's able to unscrew the top. "I have water right here."

"Hey!" Shinso protests.

"Shut up, you're fine!"

"Yeah, a long one," Kiri mutters, but leaves me be.

Everyone watches in silence as Tenya takes the box from Shoto. He flips open the lid and it feels like everyone clocks the gold emblem on the inside at once. I nearly choked up the alcohol I didn't mean to guzzle finish.

"To wear on your wedding day," Shoto explains.

Tenya wheezes. "A Rolex?!"

The question flips a switch in Deku's brain. "Not just any Rolex! It's been customized specifically for Ingenium by Creaty! The small clock at three o'clock has been modified to match your racing speed at all times. The clock at nine o'clock is voice-activated and set to begin the second you and Yao-momo say 'I do!' And the clock at six o'clock is a geomagnetic compass so you always know where you're headed. We even got it engraved with your initials and—"

I missed his stupid muttering. It's unfortunate how it used to give me the creeps, back when I never thought I'd ever stop hearing it. I feel nauseous and clammy. My chest is overheating and I can feel beads of sweat prickling to the surface of my skin. My eyes strain to keep a clear vision of everything happening around me, but I'm reeling from...something.

By the end of Deku's infamous info-dump about—I hate to give it to them, but it was—the couple's very thoughtful present for the groom, Tenya was a puddle of tears.

"You guys…this gift…!"

We watched on as the three best friends hugged when it occurred to me...

"My brothers," he drunkenly wails. "Thank you! It's the timepiece of my dreams!"

"Yeah, we know how much you love being punctual," Izuku teases, again taking his boyfriend's hand. He lifts his glass. "To Iida!"

"To Iida!"

...Dammit! I forgot to buy a fucking wedding gift.
