Chapter 94: Mandarin Island Tournament Round 2

Hello everyone, this chapter will cover round 2 of the tournament and I hope you all enjoy it! Also, I just want to say thank you for the 106 favs and 100 Followers it makes me happy to know that a lot of people enjoy my version of the anime and I'll make sure you guys continue to enjoy the story.

The chapter begins 1 day after the last chapter ended and it's currently 8:00 am in the morning. We see Ash along with Pikachu wake up they let out a yawn as Ash looks at Pikachu and speaks.

"Morning Pikachu" Ash says with the yellow mouse saying the same thing. They then look over at the bed next to them and see Tracey still sleeping as Ash speaks.

"Looks like Tracey's still sleeping let's not wake him." Ash says with Pikachu nodding as they then walk out of the room. When they do they head outside of the center they do some stretching and take a deep breath as Ash speaks.

"Man, it feels great out here" Ash says with Pikachu agreeing with him and just when they were about to head back in the center they hear an explosion. Ash along with Pikachu get concerned and quickly run over to where the explosion happened. When they make it, they see a cloud of smoke and when the smoke clears, they see Misty along with her Togepi, Seadra, Quaxwell, and Primarina all coughing as Ash speaks.

"Hey Misty, are you okay?" Ash asks as Misty looks at him and Pikachu then speaks.

"Oh, Ash and Pikachu you're up we didn't wake you now did we?" Misty asks as Ash speaks.

"No, we were already up earlier and just taking in the fresh air until we heard an explosion." Ash responds with Pikachu agreeing with him as Misty nods Ash speaks.

"So, I'm guessing that you're training?" Ash asks with Misty nodding as she speaks.

"Yeah, seeing as I'm facing Lily today, I wanted to do some early training" Misty answers with Ash nodding as he then looks at Misty's Pokémon and speaks.

"And are they going to be the 3 Pokémon that you're going to use against her?" Ash asks as Misty speaks.

"Yes, when I told them that I was going to battle Lily they got excited and wanted to take part" Misty responds with Ash nodding as they then look at the 4 mons who're currently playing with Pikachu which makes Ash and Misty smile. As they continue to watch the Pokémon play Ash looks at Misty and speaks.

"So, Misty what kind of training were you doing?" Ash asks as Misty speaks.

"Well, I'm currently training these 3 to strengthen their attacks Quaxwell along with Primarina are doing great but Seadra's having difficulty when it comes to increasing his dragon type moves." Misty responds with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"I see" Ash says and begins to think. As he's thinking he gets an idea and speaks.

"I just thought of something I'll be right back" Ash says making Misty confused as she sees Ash run back inside the Pokémon Center. A few seconds later Ash comes back he walks over to Misty and speaks.

"This should help Seadra" Ash says as he shows Misty his Dragon Scale. Misty looks at it then looks at Ash and speaks.

"You're giving me your Dragon Scale? But won't you need it one day?" Misty asks as Ash speaks.

"True maybe I will need it one day, but we don't know when that day will come and besides Seadra needs it more so I'm giving it to him." Ash responds with Misty nodding as she smiles and speaks.

"Thank you, Ash," Misty says with Ash nodding as he hands Misty the Dragon Scale Misty then walks over to Seadra and speaks.

"Seadra with this Dragon Scale it'll not only power up your dragon type moves but also allow you to evolve into a Kingdra. Do you want to use it?" Misty asks while looking at the mon. Seadra thinks for a little bit then looks back at Misty and nods saying that he will which makes Misty smile as she speaks.

"Okay Seadra I'll let you hold onto it" Misty says as she gives the item to the mon. After that Misty returns Seadra back to his Pokeball then looks at Ash and speaks.

"Ash seeing as Seadra needs to be traded while holding the Dragon Scale will you trade me one of your Pokémon and we can trade back?" Misty asks as Ash speaks.

"Sure, I don't mind." Ash responds making Misty happy as she along with Ash and their Pokémon head back inside the center and begin heading toward the trading machine. When they make it Misty puts Seadra's Pokeball on the machine while Ash puts Croconaw's on the machine. They then turn the machine on and begin the trade. A few seconds later the 2 balls reach their respective destination and when they do Ash and Misty turn the machine back on and trade back. Once they do the 2 balls are back with their respective trainers, Ash puts Croconaw's Pokeball away then looks at Misty and speaks.

"Okay let's go see if it worked" Ash says with Misty nodding as she grabs Seadra's Pokeball and they all run back out of the Pokémon Center. Now that they're back outside they have made it back to the spot that Misty was training at earlier. Misty takes a couple steps forward pulls out Seadra's Pokeball and speaks.

"Okay come out!" Misty says as she throws the ball forward and sends out the mon. Once the mon appears what was once a Seadra is now a Kingdra. The mon has a serious look on his face while Ash, Misty, and their Pokémon look at him having smiles on their faces as Ash speaks.

"Looks like it worked" Ash says with Misty nodding as she then runs forward, wraps Kingdra in a hug and speaks.

"Congratulations on evolving Kingdra!" Misty says happily as Quaxwell, Primarina, and Togepi congratulate him too making the mon happy. As Misty along with her Pokémon continue to celebrate Ash speaks.

"Hey Misty, now that Kingdra's evolved before round 2 of the tournament begins let's test out his strength in a quick battle" Ash says while having a smile on his face with Pikachu sparking his cheeks. Misty looks at them, smiles and speaks.

"Sure" Misty says with Kingdra nodding making Ash smile as he speaks.

"Okay then let's do this Pikachu!" Ash says as the yellow mouse jumps off his left shoulder, lands on the ground and gets in a battle stance as Misty speaks.

"Kingdra you're up!" Misty says with the mon nodding as he goes forward and looks at Pikachu with the yellow mouse looking at him. The 2 mons continue to look at each other until Ash and Misty speak.

"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" "Kingdra Dragon Pulse!" Both trainers' call. Pikachu fires an electric bolt while Kingdra fires a purple draconic beam, the 2 attacks collide with each other and create an explosion. After that Ash along with Misty continued their battle for 10 minutes until they stopped as it was time for them to meet up with Leaf and Tracey thus leaving their battle unfinished. When they head back in the Pokémon Center Leaf along with Tracey are awake, after they say good morning to each other they head over to the cafeteria to have breakfast, and when that was done, they then begin heading back to where the tournament is taking place.

Once they reach the building, they reunite with Kiawe, Lana, Lillie, Kukui, Burnet, Nemona, Barry, and Misty's sisters. They all tell each other good morning and when the greeting is over Ash along with Misty hand Pikachu and Togepi over to Tracey and they along with everyone who's competing in the tournament begin heading to the trainer hall while the others go to the stands. 20 minutes later Round 2 of the tournament begins Leaf along with Barry had their battles first and won them pretty easily. It's now Ash's turn and he's going up against a trainer named Cody. We head over to stadium 2 and see Ash along with Cody on their sides of the battlefield. The 2 boys continue to look at each other until the ref makes himself known and begins to speak.

"This is a 3v3 Triple battle between trainers Ash and Cody. Both trainers are only allowed to use 3 Pokémon and whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner!" The ref says with the 2 boys nodding as the ref continues to speak.

"Now will both trainers please send out your 3 Pokémon!" The ref says as Cody pulls out 3 Pokeball's and speaks.

"Come out!" Cody says as he throws the 3 balls forward sending out his Pokémon. The 3 mons that come out of the Pokeball's are a Mantine, Politoed, and a Pokémon that looks like a washing machine. The 3 mons look forward waiting for their opponents as Ash speaks.

"Who're these Pokémon?" Ash questions as he along with Leaf take out their Pokedex's to scan the 3 mons.

"Mantine the Kite Pokémon, it's a Water/Flying Type and the fully evolved form of Mantyke. This calm and gentle Pokémon swims gracefully through the sea. After building speed, it can leap out of the water. It is often misidentified as a bird Pokémon due to this behavior." "Politoed the Frog Pokémon and a pure Water Type. The curled hair on Politoed's head is proof of its status as a king. It is said that the longer and more curled the hair, the more respect this Pokémon earns from its peers." "Wash Rotom the plasma Pokémon and a Water/Electric type. When possessing a washing machine, it uses its Hydro Pump to easily flood its enemies." The Pokedex's say as Ash speaks.

"So, those are the type of Pokémon I'm battling today." Ash says to himself as he smiles and speaks.

"Then these 3 will be perfect. Seismitoad, Aqua, and Lapras I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the 3 balls forward and sends out his Pokémon. Once he does the 3 mons have excited looks on their faces and are ready to battle. We now cut over to the crowd as Kiawe speaks.

"So, those are the Pokémon that Ash's using for this battle" Kiawe says as Kukui speaks.

"Let's see they both have Pokémon that are weaker/stronger than each other in terms of type." Kukui says as Tracey speaks.

"Making this an even match for both" Tracey says with Kukui and Kiawe nodding while Lillie, Daisy, Burnet, Pikachu, and Togepi cheer Ash on. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Lapras and speaks.

"Lapras this is the first time I'm using you in an official battle and let's make it a win" Ash says with Lapras nodding as she along with Seismitoad and Aqua look forward and get into battle stances with Cody's Pokémon doing the same. The 2 trainers along with their Pokémon continue to look at each other as the ref speaks.

"Let the battle begin!" The ref says as Ash speaks.

"Seismitoad, Aqua use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls with the 2-mons nodding as they fire a combined Hydro Pump that heads for Cody's Pokémon as he speaks.

"Politoed, Rotom counter with your Hydro Pump and Mantine jump in the air!" Cody calls with the 3-mons nodding as Politoed along with Rotom fire out their own combined Hydro Pump that collides with the other one creating an explosion. Cody's Mantine then jumps high in the air and readies itself as Cody speaks.

"Now Mantine use Air Slash on his Tauros!" Cody calls Mantine's fins glow and begins firing multiple slashes of wind towards Aqua as Ash speaks.

"Lapras intercept them with Ice Beam!" Ash calls Lapras fires an icy beam that easily goes through the slashes of wind and heads for Mantine as Cody speaks.

"Mantine dodge and Rotom use Thunder on Lapras!" Cody calls Mantine quickly moves to the right and avoids the icy beam. Rotom sparks its body and fires a big electric bolt that heads for Lapras as Ash speaks.

"Seismitoad quick get in front of Lapras!" Ash calls Seismitoad, quickly jumps forward, gets in front of Lapras and takes the attack. Once the Thunder connects with Seismitoad it does no damage to the mon as a few seconds later the Thunder goes away and Seismitoad has a smile on his face. Back in the trainer hall Violet speaks.

"Smart thinking on Ash's part in having Seismitoad block that Thunder since it's part ground." Violet says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Lapras looks at Seismitoad and tells the mon thank you with Seismitoad nodding as Cody speaks.

"If Electric type moves won't work then we'll use grass moves! Mantine use Bullet Seed on Seismitoad!" Cody calls as Mantine begins firing multiple grassy seeds that head for Seismitoad Ash speaks.

"Seismitoad blow those away with Sludge Bomb!" Ash calls Seismitoad, takes a deep breath and begins firing multiple bombs of sludge out of his mouth that easily destroy the grassy seeds. The poison bombs of sludge head for Mantine as Cody speaks.

"Mantine dive into the water to dodge and Politoed use Ice Punch!" Cody calls Mantine, quickly dives back into the water and dodges the Sludge Bombs. Politoed covers its left fist in ice and shoots forward heading for Seismitoad as Ash speaks.

"Aqua counter with Raging Bull!" Ash calls Aqua's horns glow blue, and he covers his body in water. Aqua shoots forward and collides with Politoed. Politoed tries its best to push Aqua away, but the bull is too strong as he manages to knock away Politoed's fist and hit the mon. Politoed's sent flying a few feet away and lands on a nearby land platform groaning in pain as Ash speaks.

"Great job Aqua!" Ash says with the bull nodding as Cody speaks.

"Rotom use Thunder on his Tauros!" "Seismitoad intercept it with Mud Shot!" Both trainers' call. Rotom fires a large electric bolt that goes to hit Aqua, but Seismitoad quickly fires multiple shots of mud that collide with the Thunder and destroy it as Cody speaks.

"Now Mantine use Bullet Seed on Seismitoad!" Cody calls Mantine fires multiple grassy seeds out of its mouth that hit Seismitoad causing super effective damage as Ash speaks.

"Lapras use Ice Beam!" "Mantine dodge then use Aerial Ace on Tauros!" Both trainers' call. Lapras fires the icy beam at Mantine, but the mon easily dodges the attack then shoots forward and hits Aqua's right side. Aqua's sent flying landing on another platform a few feet away as Ash speaks.

"Aqua!" Ash calls in worry as the bull groans in pain. Ash then looks forward and calls for his next command.

"Okay Seismitoad use Sludge Bomb on Mantine!" "Politoed use Hydro Pump!" Both trainers' call. When Seismitoad's about to fire the Sludge Bomb he gets blindsided by Politoed's Hydro Pump that hits him and knocks him into the water a few feet away as Ash speaks.

"Lapras use Ice Beam on Politoed!" "Now Rotom use Thunder on Lapras!" Both trainers' call. Lapras's about to fire the icy beam but Rotom sparks its body and fires a large electric bolt forward that hits Lapras causing super effective damage and making Lapras cry out in pain. A few seconds later there's an explosion as Ash speaks.

"Lapras!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears Lapras's groaning in pain and has electricity flowing throughout her body showcasing that she's paralyzed. Lapras continues to groan in pain as Cody speaks.

"Hah! Just a couple more hits and I'll win" Cody says while having a confident look on his face as Ash looks at him and speaks.

"You really think so?" Ash asks as Cody speaks.

"Yes, I do your Lapras is paralyzed, and your other two Pokémon are definitely not going to beat mine, so this is a win for me." Cody responds making Ash smirk as he speaks.

"I see in that case I'll just do this. Lapras use Refresh!" Ash calls surprising Cody as Lapras glows white and gets rid of her paralysis. Lapras now has a smile on her face as Ash speaks.

"Nice looks like that training with Hitmonlee paid off Lapras" Ash says with the mon nodding as Cody speaks.

"Just because you got rid of the paralysis doesn't mean anything as your Lapras is still damaged and now it's time for me to capitalize on that. Rotom use Thunder on Lapras!" Cody calls Rotom summons a large electric bolt from the sky that goes to hit Lapras as Ash speaks.

"Seismitoad quick intercept it!" Ash calls Seismitoad quickly jumps out of the water and collides with the Thunder. The electric attack does no damage to the mon and when it disappears Seismitoad takes a deep breath as Ash speaks.

"Now use Sludge Bomb!" "Dodge!" Both trainers' call. Seismitoad fires multiple bombs of poison out of his mouth that go to hit Cody's Pokémon. Cody's Pokémon manage to easily dodge the attacks and when they do Ash calls for his next command.

"Okay Aqua use Raging Bull!" Ash calls Aqua, roars his horns glow blue, covers his body in water and shoots forward hitting Rotom. Rotom's sent flying causing it to crash into Mantine and Politoed. The 3 mons lay on the land platform groaning in pain as Ash speaks.

"Now Lapras use Ice Beam!" Ash calls Lapras fires the icy beam towards the 3 mons as Cody speaks.

"Rotom use Thunder!" Cody calls Rotom fires an electric bolt that collides with the Ice Beam creating an explosion as Ash calls for his next command.

"Now Seismitoad use Brick Break!" Ash calls Seismitoad jumps forward his right-hand glows white and goes to hit the 3 mons as Cody speaks.

"Dodge and Politoed use Mega Punch!" Cody calls when Seismitoad goes to land his attack the 3 mons quickly dodge as Seismitoad slams his hand on the land platform instead creating a crack. Politoed lands a few feet away then shoots forward with its right fist glowing and punches Seismitoad hard in the stomach causing the mon to cough in pain as Cody speaks.

"Looks like that did some damage" Cody says while having a smile on his face but then a few seconds later Politoed begins to cough as it's now poisoned. Cody has a surprised look on his face as he speaks.

"Your Seismitoad has the Poison Point ability?!" Cody asks with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Yep, and now it's time for our counterattack. Seismitoad use Venoshock!" Ash calls Seismitoad fires the stream of poison that goes to hit Politoed as Cody speaks.

"Rotom, Mantine quick use Hydro Pump to knock Seismitoad away!" "Lapras, Aqua counter with your Hydro Pump!" Both trainers' call. The 4 mons each fire their own combined Hydro Pumps that meet in the middle of the battlefield and collide creating an explosion as Cody speaks.

"Politoed dodge!" Cody calls and when Politoed goes to dodge it can't because of the poison causing it to stop. After that the Venoshock hits Politoed causing major damage and making the mon cry out in pain as Cody speaks.

"Politoed!" Cody calls in worry as Politoed's sent flying a few feet away until it lands on its back. Everyone looks at Politoed and see that it's knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Politoed's unable to battle Seismitoad's the winner!" The ref calls as Ash speaks.

"Great job Seismitoad!" Ash says with the mon nodding as Cody speaks.

"Rotom use Hydro Pump!" Cody calls Rotom fires out a large stream of water that goes to hit Seismitoad as Ash speaks.

"Aqua intercept it with Wave Crash!" Ash calls Aqua roars he covers his body in water and shoots forward. Aqua easily bypasses through the stream of water and keeps going until he hits Rotom. Rotom's sent flying going pass Cody and crashes into the wall behind him. Cody looks back and when the smoke clears, he along with everyone else can see that Rotom's knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Rotom's unable to battle Aqua the Tauros is the winner!" The ref says making Ash along with his Pokémon happy. Cody then returns Rotom back to its Pokeball and once he does that, he calls for his next command.

"That's it I'm ending this now! Mantine use Hurricane!" Cody calls Mantine jumps high in the air and roars summoning a large Hurricane that heads for Ash's Pokémon as Ash speaks.

"You just made a big mistake. Lapras use Blizzard!" Ash calls Lapras lets out a loud roar summoning a big blizzard that easily freezes not only the Hurricane but Mantine as well. A few seconds later the frozen Hurricane breaks and the frozen Mantine falls in the water breaking out of the ice as Cody speaks.

"Mantine!" Cody calls in worry as Mantine floats back up to the surface and is knocked out as well as the ref speaks.

"Mantine's unable to battle Lapras's the winner! Seeing as contestant Cody has no more Pokémon left contestant Ash is the winner and will move onto the next round!" The ref says making Ash smile as he speaks.

"We did it!" Ash cheers along with his Pokémon while the crowd cheer/clap for them. In the crowd Tracey, Pikachu, Togepi, Kiawe, Kukui, Burnet, Lillie, and Daisy cheer happily for Ash. In the trainer hall the group cheer for Ash as well. Back on the battlefield Cody's sad that he lost then returns Mantine back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Cody then looks forward and sees Lapras, Aqua, and Seismitoad heading over to Ash. When the 3-mons make it, ash looks at them and speaks.

"Great job guys we won!" Ash says with the 3-mons nodding as he then looks over at Lapras and speaks.

"You did great for your first official battle with us Lapras let's keep winning just like this" Ash says with Seismitoad and Aqua agreeing with him. Lapras looks at the 3 of them and smiles. After that Cody walks over telling Ash that it was a good battle with Ash saying the same as they shake hands. Ash then returns his Pokémon back to their Pokeball's and begins making his way back to the trainer hall. Once Ash makes it Misty, Leaf, Lana, Barry, Nemona, Violet, and Lily come over to Ash and congratulate him with Ash saying thank you as they then hear a voice.

"Now will the next trainers battling please come to your respective stadium!" Jake says as a few trainers begin to leave Nemona looks at Lana and speaks.

"Looks like it's our turn" Nemona says with Lana nodding as the group tell the 2 girls' good luck and they begin walking over to their stadium.

A few minutes later Lana and Nemona have made it to stadium 3. Both girls are on their respective sides of the battlefield and are looking at each other as the ref begins to explain the rules. Up in the crowd we see the group as Lillie speaks.

"It's Lana's turn and she's going up against Nemona" Lillie says as Tracey speaks.

"Lana will need to be careful as Nemona's able to give Ash trouble whenever they battle" Tracey says as Kiawe speaks.

"Yes, I could tell when we watched her match yesterday that she's a strong battler but I'm confident that Lana will be able to win." Kiawe says with the group nodding as we now go over to where Lorelai, Rika, Larry, and Hassel are as Hassel speaks.

"It's finally Ms. Nemona's turn" Hassel says as Rika speaks.

"And she's going up against the girl from the Alola region." Rika says as Larry speaks.

"She'll need to be careful as she's going up against a trainer who uses a Z move" Larry says as Lorelai speaks.

"Doesn't Nemona have access to Terastallization?" Lorelai asks as Hassel speaks.

"She does but she's currently in the process of not using that right now as she wants to rely on her skills" Hassel says as Rika speaks.

"And she also wants to challenge herself" Rika says with Lorelai nodding as she looks back towards the battlefield. Back in the trainer hall the group continue to look at the screen as we then come back to the battlefield, the ref has just finished explaining the rules he then looks at both girls and speaks.

"Now will both trainers please send out your 3 Pokémon!" The ref says with both girls nodding as Lana pulls out her 3 Pokeball's and speaks.

"Primarina, Araquanid, and Toxapex come out!" Lana says as she throws the 3 balls forward and sends out the 3 mons. When they appear they all have excited looks on their faces and are ready to battle as Nemona thinks.

"So, she is using the same Pokémon she used yesterday." Nemona says to herself, having a smile on her face as she pulls out 3 Pokeball's and speaks.

"Veluza, Palafin, and Quaquaval come out!" Nemona says as she throws the 3 balls forward and sends out her Pokémon. The 3 mons appear out of their Pokeball's and look over at Lana's Pokémon. Back in the trainer hall Leaf speaks.

"So, Nemona's using a Palafin, Veluza and I don't recognize the third Pokémon" Leaf says as Violet speaks.

"That Pokémon is called a Quaquaval and it's the fully evolved form of Quaxwell" Violet says with the group nodding as Ash along with Leaf pull out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.

"Quaquaval the Dancer Pokémon, a Water/Fighting type and the fully evolved form of Quaxwell. Dancing in ways that evoke far-away places, this Pokémon mesmerizes all that see it. Flourishes of its decorative water feathers slice into its foes. And it's also said that a single kick from a Quaquaval can send a truck rolling" The Pokedex's say as Misty speaks.

"So, that's Quaxwell's fully evolved form" Misty says to herself as she then feels one of her Pokeball's wriggle and her Quaxwell appears. Misty looks at the mon and speaks.

"Do you want to watch Quaquaval battle?" Misty asks with the mon nodding as they then look at the screen. Back on the battlefield Lana looks at Nemona's Pokémon and begins to think.

"Nemona's Pokémon look strong, but we won't give in" Lana says to herself as she looks at her Pokémon and speaks.

"Let's do this!" Lana says with her Pokémon agreeing with her, making Nemona smile as she speaks.

"That's what I like to hear and Let's have ourselves a Fruitful Battle!" Nemona says as her Pokémon get ready too the ref speaks.

"Now that both trainers have sent out their Pokémon let the battle begin!" The ref says as Lana speaks.

"We'll go first. Toxapex use Pin Missile!" Lana calls Toxapex, nods and immediately fires multiple pin like missiles that head for Nemona's Pokémon as Nemona speaks.

"Veluza use Psychic to grab the pin missiles and send them back!" Nemona calls Veluza's eyes glow sending out a wave of psychic energy that connects with the missiles and begins sending them back towards Lana's Pokémon as Lana speaks.

"Araquanid use Hydro Pump to blow them away and Primarina use Aqua Jet!" Lana calls Araquanid fires out a big stream of water that manages to easily get rid of the Pin Missiles. Primarina then covers its body in water and shoots forward heading for Veluza as Nemona speaks.

"Palafin counter with your Aqua Jet!" Nemona calls Palafin quickly covers its body in water shoots forward and collides with Primarina. The 2 mons begin trying to knock each other away but then a few seconds later they bounce away from each other. Once Primarina lands on a land platform it sees Quaquaval coming towards it as Lana speaks.

"Primarina use Moonblast!" Lana calls Primarina quickly creates a ball of fairy energy and throws it at Quaquaval as Nemona speaks.

"Quaquaval kick it away then use Acrobatics!" Nemona calls when the Moonblast's about to hit Quaquaval the mon easily kicks it away with its right foot. Quaquaval then glows blue points its left foot forward and continues heading for Primarina as Lana speaks.

"Primarina quick dive in the water to dodge!" Lana calls Primarina quickly dives in the water dodging Quaquaval's attack as the mon kicks the land platform instead. Suddenly Araquanid appears on Quaquaval's left side and has its legs ready as Lana speaks.

"Araquanid use Liquidation!" Lana calls Araquanid covers its two front legs in water and goes to hit Quaquaval as Nemona speaks.

"Knock its legs away then use Triple Axel!" Nemona calls Quaquaval swings its left leg and manages to easily knock Araquanid's front legs away. After that Quaquaval covers both of its feet in ice and kicks Araquanid hard in the face two times with its right foot. Quaquaval then spins around and kicks Araquanid hard in the face with its left foot sending the water spider flying as it crashes into a land platform Lana speaks.

"Araquanid!" Lana calls in worry while Araquanid groans in pain. Lana then looks forward and calls for her next command.

"Primarina use Disarming Voice!" Lana calls as out of the water appears Primarina. The mon looks at Quaquaval and lets out a charming voice of fairy energy that goes to hit the mon as Nemona speaks.

"Veluza use Zen Headbutt!" Nemona calls Veluza covers its head in psychic energy quickly swims forward and hits Primarina's left side. Primarina coughs in pain as it's then sent flying and lands in the water a few feet away as Lana speaks.

"Primarina!" Lana calls in worry while Primarina groans in pain Lana calls for her next command.

"Toxapex use Gunk Shot on Quaquaval!" Lana calls Toxapex summons a large trash can and throws it at Quaquaval as Nemona speaks.

"Quaquaval counter with Aqua Cutter!" Nemona calls Quaquaval covers its feet in water then swings them forward summoning two water blades that collide with the Gunk Shot creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Nemona's Veluza who has its teeth ready as Nemona speaks.

"Now Veluza use Psychic Fangs!" Nemona calls Veluza covers its teeth in psychic energy and goes to bite Toxapex as Lana speaks.

"Use Baneful Bunker!" Lana calls Toxapex summons a shield of poison around itself and when Veluza's about to bite it Nemona speaks.

"Toxapex move to the right!" Nemona calls Veluza quickly moves to the right avoiding contact with the shield which surprises Lana and Toxapex. Lana then looks forward and sees Quaquaval preparing something as Nemona speaks.

"Now Quaquaval use Aqua Cutter!" Nemona calls Quaquaval quickly fires out 2 water blades that hit Toxapex creating an explosion. Toxapex is sent flying high in the air as Nemona speaks.

"Now Veluza use Psychic Fang!" Nemona calls Veluza quickly jumps towards Toxapex and covers its teeth in psychic energy as Lana speaks.

"Toxapex quick use Baneful Bunker!" Lana calls but was too late as Veluza reaches Toxapex and bites down hard on the mon causing super effective damage. Toxapex groans in pain as Veluza then throws Toxapex away, while Toxapex is falling it looks at Veluza as Lana speaks.

"Use Pin Missile!" Lana calls Toxapex fires multiple pin like missiles at Veluza as Nemona speaks.

"Use Psycho Cut Then Psychic!" Nemona calls Veluza fires 2 psychic blades that connect with the Pin Missiles creating an explosion. Veluza's eyes then glow as it fires the waves of psychic energy that connect with Toxapex and sends the mon crashing down hard on a land platform creating an explosion as Lana speaks.

"Toxapex!" Lana calls in worry as Veluza lands back in the water and looks forward to see the results. When the smoke clears everyone can see Toxapex laying on its back groaning in pain. The mon tries to stand back up but ultimately stays down as the ref speaks.

"Toxapex is unable to battle Veluza's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Nemona and her Pokémon to cheer while Lana's surprised. Back in the trainer hall Ash along with Misty and Leaf have surprised looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.

"Nemona's Veluza took out Lana's Toxapex just like that" Leaf says as Misty speaks.

"Back when I battled it in the SS. Anne it was pretty difficult to defeat it" Misty says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Lana returns Toxapex back to its Pokeball tells the mon thank you and puts the ball away. Lana then looks forward and speaks.

"Primarina, Araquanid we're getting revenge for Toxapex!" Lana says with the 2-mons nodding as Lana speaks.

"Primarina use Ice Beam on Veluza!" Lana calls Primarina fires the icy beam that heads for Veluza as Nemona speaks.

"Veluza dodge!" Nemona calls Veluza quickly moves to the left avoiding the attack as Lana calls for her next command.

"Now Araquanid use Lunge!" Lana calls Araquanid covers its body in green bug energy shoots forward and hits Veluza causing super effective damage. Veluza's sent flying away as Lana calls for her next command.

"Now Primarina use Sparkling Aria on Veluza!" Lana calls Primarina, lets out a beautiful voice summoning multiple water orbs around itself and launches them towards Veluza as Nemona speaks.

"Quaquaval kick those away with Liquidation and Palafin use Boomburst!" Nemona calls Quaquaval jumps to where Veluza is covers its legs in water and easily kicks the water orbs away. Once Quaquaval does that it grabs Veluza then jumps high in the air as Palafin takes a deep breath and fires a big wave of sound that heads for Primarina and Araquanid as Lana speaks.

"Counter with Hydro Pump!" Lana calls Primarina along with Araquanid fire out 2 big streams of water that connect with the Boomburst creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Nemona calls for her next command.

"Veluza use Zen Headbutt on Primarina!" Nemona calls as up in the air Quaquaval using its right leg swings it and sends Veluza towards Primarina. Veluza's coming down fast as it covers its head in psychic energy and hits Primarina hard on the head sending her deeper into the water as Lana speaks.

"Primarina! Araquanid use Lunge on Veluza!" Lana calls Araquanid covers its body in green bug energy and shoots forward going to hit Veluza as Nemona speaks.

"Palafin use Aqua Jet!" Nemona calls Palafin covers its body in water shoots forward and hits Araquanid causing some damage to the mon and sends it sliding back a few feet away. Araquanid looks forward and sees Palafin swimming towards it as Lana speaks.

"Now Araquanid use Liquidation!" Lana calls Araquanid covers its two front feet in water then goes to hit Palafin as Nemona speaks.

"Back away Palafin then use Ice Punch and Boomburst!" Nemona calls Palafin quickly backs away dodging Araquanid's attack. Palafin then shoots forward, covers its left fin in ice and punches Araquanid hard in the face. Araquanid groans in pain as then Palafin takes a deep breath and fires a big wave of sound that sends Araquanid crashing into a land platform as Lana speaks.

"Araquanid!" Lana calls in concern as when the dust clears everyone can see that Araquanid is knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Araquanid's unable to battle Palafin's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Nemona and her Pokémon to cheer while Lana's surprised. Up in the stands Burnet speaks.

"And now Araquanid went down" Burnet says as Lillie speaks.

"Lana can still win this right?" Lillie asks as Kukui speaks.

"We'll just have to believe she can" Kukui responds with Lillie nodding as she along with the others continue to look at the battlefield Kiawe thinks to himself.

"Come on Lana you can do this" Kiawe says to himself. Back on the battlefield Lana returns Araquanid back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Lana then puts the ball away as she looks forward and sees Quaquaval land on a land platform Nemona speaks.

"Okay just one more and we win!" Nemona says happily as Lana speaks.

"That's true I may have only one Pokémon left but my Pokémon and I trained hard for this tournament and we're not going to lose!" Lana states while having a serious look on her face as Primarina then appears back to the surface Nemona looks at Lana smiles and speaks.

"That's what I like to hear and we're not going to lose either!" Nemona says with her Pokémon agreeing with her as Lana then looks over at Primarina with the mon nodding as Lana speaks.

"Let's do this Primarina!" Lana says as she crosses her arms her Z crystal begins to glow. Back in the trainer hall Leaf speaks.

"Lana's using her Z move" Leaf says as Ash speaks.

"Hopefully it works" Ash says while Misty continues to watch hoping that it works too. Back on the battlefield Nemona has a smile on her face and speaks.

"This is what I've been waiting for! Quaquaval, Veluza, and Palafin get ready!" Nemona says with the 3-mons nodding as Lana begins to speak.

"Reach Beyond the Horizon and go pass the crashing waves!" Lana says as she along with Primarina begin to do Synchronized movements. After that Lana's body is covered in a blue aura, she then waves her arms and sends the aura over to Primarina. Primarina can feel power welling up inside of it as Lana speaks.

"Now! Use Hydro Vortex!" Lana calls Primarina roars as it glows blue, swims forward and begins swimming around Nemona's Pokémon. As Primarina's doing that it creates a big vortex as Nemona thinks.

"This really is powerful" Nemona says to herself as she then speaks.

"Dodge!" Nemona says with the 3-mons nodding before the vortex can suck in Quaquaval the mon quickly jumps high in the air. Meanwhile, in the water Veluza along with Palafin try to swim away from the vortex but are unable to as the move sucks them in. The 2 mons begin spinning around fast in the vortex and are crying out in pain. A few seconds later the vortex disappears as Veluza and Palafin are sent high into the air then crash back down on the water. Primarina jumps out of the water and lands on a nearby land platform. The mon looks forward and sees Veluza along with Palafin floating on the surface knocked out. The ref then makes the call.

"Veluza and Palafin are unable to battle Primarina's the winner!" The ref says making Lana smile as she speaks.

"You did it Primarina!" Lana says happily with the mon nodding as Nemona speaks.

"Don't celebrate too early as we're still battling." Nemona says, making Lana confused as she looks forward and sees that Quaquaval's gone. Lana then looks up in the air and sees Quaquaval heading towards Primarina. Lana then calls for a command.

"Primarina use Sparkling Aria!" Lana calls Primarina creates multiple water orbs around itself and fires them at Quaquaval as Nemona speaks.

"Quaquaval use Aqua Cutter!" Nemona calls Quaquaval covers its legs in water and swings them sending out two water blades that easily cut through the water orbs and head for Primarina as Lana speaks.

"Primarina dodge!" Lana calls Primarina quickly backs away as the water blades hit the land platform instead. Quaquaval lands on the land platform and shoots forward heading for Primarina as Lana speaks.

"Primarina use Disarming Voice!" Lana calls Primarina lets out a charming voice that goes to hit Quaquaval as Nemona speaks.

"Quaquaval dodge then use Aqua Step!" Nemona calls Quaquaval moves to the right dodging the Disarming Voice. Quaquaval then reaches Primarina and begins to kick the mon repeatedly. As Quaquaval's doing that it also uses the tear shaped water feathers that move around it's body and also begins to hit Primarina with those as well. Quaquaval continues to hit Primarina until it kicks the mon one more time sending it flying as it goes past Lana and crashes into the wall behind her. Lana looks back and speaks.

"Primarina!" Lana calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Primarina stuck in the wall. A couple seconds later Primarina falls on the ground landing on its stomach. The mon tries to stand back up as it wants to continue battling but it ultimately stays down as the ref speaks.

"Primarina's unable to battle Quaquaval's the winner! Seeing as contestant Lana has no more Pokémon left contestant Nemona is the winner and will move onto the next round!" The ref says making Nemona smile as she speaks.

"We Won!" Nemona says happily while Quaquaval smiles. Lana has a surprised look on her face but then begins running over to Primarina. In the crowd the group have surprised looks on their faces as Burnet speaks.

"Darn Lana lost" Burnet says as Lillie speaks.

"And she was so close too" Lillie says while having a sad look on her face while Kiawe, Kukui, and Tracey don't say anything as they continue to look forward. In the trainer hall the group have surprised looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.

"I can't believe it Lana lost even when she used her Z move" Leaf says as Violet speaks.

"If Quaquaval didn't jump to dodge the Z move the outcome of the battle could've been different but I still believe that Nemona would've won" Violet says with Lily agreeing with her as Barry speaks.

"Man, Nemona really is strong" Barry says with Ash agreeing with him as Misty thinks.

"Lana" Misty says to herself as she along with the others continue to look at the screen. Misty's Quaxwell is impressed by the strength of Nemona's Quaquaval and hopes to reach that strength too. Back on the battlefield Lana has made it over to where Primarina is, Lana gently lifts up the mons head causing it to look at Lana as the girl speaks.

"Primarina are you okay?" Lana asks Primarina nods saying that it is, but the mon then gets sad and tells Lana sorry that it lost as Lana speaks.

"It's okay Primarina you along with Araquanid and Toxapex did your best" Lana says with Primarina nodding as they then hear a voice.

"Lana!" The voice says, forcing Lana and Primarina to look as they see Nemona along with her Quaquaval running towards them. When they get close enough Nemona looks at Lana and speaks.

"That was a great battle Lana, and that Z move was amazing! If Quaquaval didn't dodge we probably would've lost instead" Nemona says with Quaquaval nodding as Lana smiles and speaks.

"That's possible but in the end, we lost instead and even though losing is frustrating my Pokémon, and I enjoyed the battle too" Lana says with Primarina agreeing with her making Nemona and Quaquaval smile. Lana then gets a serious look on her face and speaks.

"But since we lost this time whenever we battle each other again my Pokémon and I will win." Lana says with Primarina agreeing with her. Nemona along with Quaquaval look at them and smile as Nemona speaks.

"I look forward to that day and my Pokémon and I aren't going to lose either" Nemona says with Quaquaval agreeing with her making Lana and Primarina smile. After that the 2 girls shake each other's hands causing the crowd to clap for them as they then return their Pokémon and begin heading back to the trainer hall. We now come over to where Lorelai, Rika, Larry, and Hassel are as Larry speaks.

"And just like that Nemona won" Larry says as Rika speaks.

"I got to say that was a pretty intense battle" Rika says as Hassel speaks.

"I agree they both showcased such passion" Hassel says as he begins to cry Lorelai speaks.

"Even though Lana lost I feel as though this loss will help her become an even stronger water type trainer in the future" Lorelai says with the other 3 nodding. Back in the trainer hall we see Lana and Nemona reach the others. The group tell them that their battle was great, making both girls happy as Lana looks at Misty and speaks.

"Misty I'm sad that I'm not going to battle you this time but now that I lost, I'm rooting for you to win the whole tournament" Lana says making Misty smile as she speaks.

"You got it!" Misty says making Lana happy as Lily comes over and speaks.

"Hold on you seriously don't think that you're going to win against me now do you sis?" Lily asks as Misty looks at her and speaks.

"Actually, I do" Misty says while having a confident look on her face making Lily smirk as she speaks.

"Well, you certainly have gotten confident" Lily says making Misty smile. After that 10 minutes passed during this time more battles happened. Misty's older sister Violet had her battle and easily defeated her opponent using Slowbro, Gyarados, and Tentacruel. Once those battles were done its finally time for Misty's and Lily's battle as they begin walking towards stadium 2. A few minutes later we come over to stadium 2 and see Misty along with Lily on their sides of the battlefield. Both girls look at each other, having serious looks on their faces as the ref begins to explain the rules to them. We now come to the trainer hall and see the group looking at the screen as Leaf speaks.

"I can't believe that we're going to watch Misty battle another one of her sisters" Leaf says as Lana speaks.

"Hopefully she does well" Lana says with the group nodding as Violet speaks.

"I believe Misty will do well but Lily isn't a slouch when it comes to battles either" Violet says as Ash looks at her and speaks.

"Is she strong?" Ash asks as Violet speaks.

"Yes, whenever Lily is motivated to battle, she's very tough to beat and even gives me a challenge" Violet says as Leaf speaks.

"Now that I think about it when I battled her back in the Cerulean Gym, she was pretty tough" Leaf says with Violet nodding as she speaks.

"Yes, also I should let you know that Misty has never defeated Lily in a battle" Violet says surprising the group Lana speaks.

"Really?" Leaf asks with Violet nodding as Ash speaks.

"Well, that's fine because Misty has grown a lot stronger since then and will beat Lily this time" Ash says as Violet looks at him and speaks.

"And what makes you so sure?" Violet asks as Ash looks at her and speaks.

"My gut" Ash responds as Violet speaks.

"Your gut?" Violet asks with Ash nodding as he continues to speak.

"Yes, my gut I've been watching Misty along with her Pokémon train hard for this tournament so even though she's going up against her sister that she's never beaten before I'm confident that Misty will win" Ash says while having a smile on his face with the group nodding as they then go back to watching the screen. Back on the battlefield the ref has finished explaining the rules and calls for both trainers to send out their Pokémon as Lily pulls out 3 Pokeball's and speaks.

"Here I come Misty Come Out!" Lily says as she throws the 3 balls forward and sends out her Pokémon. When the mons appear, they consist of a Kabutops, Swampert, and a Samurott. The 3 mons look forward having serious looks on their faces as Misty thinks.

"So, she's using those 3." Misty says to herself as Lily speaks.

"Well Misty, are you going to send out your Pokémon or not? Don't tell me that you lost all of the confidence you had earlier" Lily says while having a confident look on her face as Misty looks at her and speaks.

"Don't worry I'm sending out my Pokémon and you shouldn't be in a hurry to lose" Misty responds making Lily slightly annoyed as she speaks.

"Why you I'm going to wipe that smirk right off your face" Lily says making Misty smile as she pulls out 3 Pokeball's and speaks.

"You can try but it won't work. Now! Come out!" Misty says as she throws her three Pokeball's forward and sends out her Pokémon. Quaxwell, Primarina, and Kingdra appear out of their Pokeball's and have serious looks on their faces and look at their opponents with Lily's Pokémon looking at them as Lily speaks.

"Well, this should be fun" Lily says while having a smile on her face with Misty smiling too. Back in the trainer hall the group continue to look at the screen as Leaf speaks.

"Wait Misty's Seadra evolved into a Kingdra?! When did that happen?" Leaf questions as Ash speaks.

"While you and Tracey were sleeping, I gave Misty my Dragon Scale to help her Seadra evolve. We did a quick trade and Seadra evolved into Kingdra" Ash responds as Leaf speaks.

"You should've woken me up I wanted to see the evolution!" Leaf says in frustration as Ash speaks.

"I mean there really wasn't anything to see it was pretty similar to when Brock helped my Haunter evolve into a Gengar." Ash responds as Leaf speaks.

"I still wanted to see it" Leaf says as she begins to pout making the group chuckle a little bit. After that Ash feels one of his Pokeball's wriggle as Croconaw appears out of it. Ash looks at the mon and speaks.

"You want to watch the battle Croconaw?" Ash asks with the mon nodding making Ash smile as he along with the others look back at the screen. Back on the battlefield Lily looks at Misty's Kingdra and speaks.

"I didn't know that your Seadra evolved Misty" Lily says as Misty speaks.

"He just evolved today thanks to Ash" Misty responds as Lily speaks.

"Aww so your boyfriend helped you how sweet" Lily says in a joking tone making Misty blush as she speaks.

"He's not my boyfriend! And just for that I'll beat you fast!" Misty responds while having a flustered look on her face as Lily speaks.

"Heh we'll see about that as I'll be the one who defeats you quickly instead." Lily says as hers along with Misty's Pokémon get into battle stances and look at each other waiting for the battle to start. They continue to look at each other in silence until the ref speaks.

"Let the battle begin!" The ref says as Misty and Lily speak.

"Quaxwell use Aqua Jet!" "Samurott use Aqua Jet!" Both girls call as the 2 mons cover their bodies in water shoot forward and collide. When they do they begin pushing each other back and forth trying to see who's stronger. A couple seconds later Samurott manages to overpower Quaxwell and pushes it away as Lily speaks.

"Now Samurott use Razor Shell!" Lily calls Samurott grabs two Scalchops and turns them into water blades. Samurott goes to hit Quaxwell as Misty speaks.

"Kingdra use Dragon Pulse!" Misty calls Kingdra fires a big Dragon Pulse that heads for Samurott as Lily speaks.

"Samurott block!" Lily calls Samurott quickly brings up its blades and blocks the attack. Samurott's then pushed into the water as Misty speaks.

"Good job Kingdra!" Misty says with the mon nodding as Lily thinks.

"That was a powerful Dragon Pulse" Lily says to herself as she calls for her next command.

"Swampert use Ice Punch on Kingdra!" Lily calls Swampert jumps forward reaching Kingdra instantly. Swampert covers its left fist in ice and goes to punch Kingdra as Misty speaks.

"Primarina use Moonblast!" Misty calls Primarina quickly fires a pink orb of fairy energy that hits Swampert's left side and sends the mon a few feet away. Swampert then lands on a land platform and looks at Misty's Pokémon as Lily speaks.

"Swampert use Whirlpool!" "Primarina counter with your Whirlpool!" Both trainers' call. Swampert along with Primarina create their own Whirlpool's and throw them at each other causing the 2 attacks to collide. The 2 moves begin pushing each other back and forth for a little while but then cancel each other out. When that happens Kabutops suddenly appears in front of Kingdra and has its scythes ready as Lily speaks.

"Use Night Slash!" Lily calls Kabutops covers its scythes in dark energy and goes to hit Kingdra as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell counter with Double Hit then use Low Kick!" Misty calls Quaxwell shoots forward and manages to kick both of Kabutops scythes away. Quaxwell's right foot glows red as he spins around and kicks Kabutops hard in the chest causing super effective damage and pushing the mon back a few feet away. Kabutops looks forward and sees Kingdra taking a deep breath as Misty speaks.

"Use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls Kingdra fires out a big stream of water that heads for Kabutops as Lily speaks.

"Samurott use Razor Shell!" Lily calls Samurott shoots forward appearing out of the water. It turns one of its Scalchops into a water sword and easily cuts the Hydro Pump in half. Once it does that Lily calls for her next command.

"Now Swampert use Surf and Kabutops, Samurott move out of the way!" Lily calls Swampert, lets out a roar and summons a big wave of water. Kabutops along with Samurott quickly dive into the water and avoid the move. The Surf is heading for Misty's Pokémon as Misty speaks.

"We're not scared of that! Primarina and Kingdra use Ice Beam to freeze it!" Misty calls with the 2-mons nodding as they both fire 2 icy beams that connect with the large wave and easily freeze it stopping the move in its tracks as Lily speaks.

"Now Swampert use Giga Impact!" Lily calls as out of the frozen wave appears Swampert who easily breaks through the wave and is covered in an orange sphere with purple streaks. Swampert keeps going until it hits Primarina causing damage and sending the mon flying as she lands in the water a few feet away as Misty speaks.

"You'll pay for that! Kingdra use Dragon Pulse and Quaxwell use Liquidation!" Misty calls when the 2 mons are about to attack Lily speaks.

"Kabutops use Icy Wind on Kingdra and Samurott use Aqua Jet on Quaxwell!" Lily calls as out of the water appears the two mons. Kabutops fires an icy wind that hits Kingdra causing damage to the mon and Samurott covers its body in water shoots forward and hits Quaxwell. Quaxwell's sent flying and lands on a nearby land platform as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell!" Misty calls in worry as Lily speaks.

"Should you really be worrying about your Quaxwell right now? Swampert use Ice Punch on Kingdra!" Lily calls Swampert nods as it jumps towards Kingdra and covers its right fist in ice as Misty speaks.

"Kingdra counter with Dragon Pulse!" "Kabutops use Icy Wind!" Both trainers' call. When Kingdra goes to fire his move Kabutops fires out another icy wind that stops Kingdra in his tracks and lowers his speed. After that Swampert punches Kingdra hard in the face with its right fist causing damage to the mon as Lily speaks.

"Now Kabutops use Night Slash!" Lily calls Kabutops covers its scythes in dark energy and slashes Kingdra doing more damage to the mon as Misty speaks.

"Kingdra! Primarina use Sparkling Aria to help Kingdra!" Misty calls Primarina, lets out a beautiful voice that summons multiple water orbs around herself and launches them towards Kabutops as Lily speaks.

"Samurott use Razor Shell!" Lily calls Samurott appears in front of the orbs summons two water blades and manages to easily get rid of them. Once it does that Misty speaks.

"Now Quaxwell!" Misty says as Quaxwell begins heading to where Kingdra is Lily speaks.

"I knew you'd do that. Samurott use Aqua Tail!" Lily calls Samurott covers its tail in water jumps over to where Quaxwell is and hits the mon hard in the stomach with its tail. Quaxwell coughs in pain as he is sent over to where Primarina is. Once Quaxwell lands Primarina asks Quaxwell if he's okay with the mon nodding as they then look over at Samurott who has a serious look on its face as Lily speaks.

"If you want to help out your Kingdra you'll need to get pass Samurott. But as you are right now that's not going to happen" Lily says while having a confident look on her face as Misty speaks.

"Well see about that! Let's do this Primarina, Quaxwell!" Misty says with the 2-mons nodding as they shoot forward while Lily smiles. Back in the trainer hall the group continues to watch the battle as Nemona speaks.

"Misty's really struggling" Nemona says as Barry speaks.

"If she doesn't do something soon her Kingdra's going to faint." Barry says as Violet speaks.

"Unfortunately, Lily has set it up in a way so that Quaxwell and Primarina won't be able to help Kingdra as Samurott is perfectly countering them" Violet says with Nemona and Barry nodding as Leaf and Lana speak.

"Go! Misty!" The 2 girls cheer loud for Misty while Ash continues to watch in silence. Back on the battlefield Kingdra gets hit in the face by another Ice Punch from Swampert and gets slashed by Kabutops Night Slash. Kingdra's sent sliding back a few feet away and begins to pant heavily while looking at the 2 mons as Lily looks over at Misty and speaks.

"Well Misty looks like this is the end for your Kingdra and then once he's gone, I'll set my sights on your other Pokémon" Lily says as Misty speaks.

"No! I won't let that happen! Quaxwell, Primarina use Aqua Jet to go pass Samurott!" Misty calls the 2 mons cover their bodies in water and begin to go around Samurott as Lily speaks.

"That won't work! Samurott Razor Shell!" Lily calls Samurott appears in front of the 2 mons creates two water blades and slashes them sending them a few feet away as Lily speaks.

"That was a good try Misty, but you should know that something like that won't work against my Samurott" Lily says making Misty grit her teeth as Lily smiles. Lily then looks forward and calls for her next command.

"Okay Swampert, Kabutops play times over its time to finish off Kingdra. Use Ice Punch and Night Slash one more time!" Lily calls with the 2-mons nodding as they shoot forward, going to hit Kingdra again as Misty speaks.

"Kingdra look out!" Misty calls but Kingdra can't move because the icy wind has decreased his speed greatly. As Swampert and Kabutops are closing in Kingdra gets a determined look on his face he doesn't want to lose as he wants to win this battle for Misty. Kingdra feels dragon energy building up inside his body more and more until he roars.

"DRAAAA!" Kingdra lets out a mighty roar as suddenly a large Twister filled with dragon energy appears and consumes Kabutops along with Swampert. Lily has a surprised look on her face and speaks.

"He learned Twister?!" Lily says in surprise as Misty smiles and speaks.

"Amazing Kingdra!" Misty says happily as back in the trainer hall Violet speaks.

"Since Kingdra couldn't dodge in time thanks to the icy wind slowing him down he dug deep inside himself and learned Twister" Violet says with the group nodding as they continue to look at the screen. Back on the battlefield Kingdra continues to roar with Kabutops along with Swampert still spinning inside the Twister crying out in pain. A few seconds later Kingdra stops roaring and the Twister goes away as the 2 mons then fall on a nearby land platform Lily speaks.

"Kabutops, Swampert!" Lily calls in worry as when the smoke clears it showcases the 2-mons groaning in pain but are still able to battle which allows for Lily to let out a relief sigh as Misty speaks.

"Congratulations on learning Twister Kingdra!" Misty says with the mon nodding as he continues to pant Misty speaks.

"Okay Kingdra it's time for you to get your revenge use Dragon Pulse!" Misty calls Kingdra, lets out a mighty roar and fires a big Dragon Pulse that heads for Kabutops and Swampert as Lily speaks.

"Samurott intercept it with Razor Shell!" "I don't think so! Quaxwell use Liquidation and Primarina use Moonblast!" Both trainers' call. When Samurott's about to go intercept the beam Quaxwell appears in front of the mon, Quaxwell covers his right foot in water turns it into a water blade and slashes Samurott across the face causing damage to the mon. Primarina then fires an orb of fairy energy at Samurott which hits the mon and causes it to slide a few feet away and groan in pain. Seeing as Samurott's unable to help right now Lily looks at Kabutops and Swampert then speaks.

"Kabutops, Swampert dodge!" Lily calls Swampert nods as it immediately dives into the water to dodge the attack. Meanwhile with Kabutops it doesn't dodge as it's flinching because of the Twister, Lily has a surprised look on her face and before she can say anything Misty speaks.

"Do it Kingdra!" Misty calls Kingdra roars as the Dragon Pulse then hits Kabutops creating an explosion as Lily speaks.

"Kabutops!" Lily calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Kabutops laying on its back knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Kabutops is unable to battle Kingdra's the winner!" The ref says making Misty happy as she speaks.

"Way to go Kingdra!" Misty says with the mon nodding as Lily speaks.

"Now Swampert use Ice Punch!" Lily calls as suddenly Swampert jumps out of the water covers its left fist in ice and punches Kingdra hard in the face. Kingdra's sent flying a few feet away and crashes into the water as Misty speaks.

"Kingdra!" Misty calls in worry as everyone sees Kingdra floating on the surface of the water and is knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Kingdra's unable to battle Swampert's the winner!" The ref says making Lily happy as Misty speaks.

"Hey that's not fair!" Misty says as Lily speaks.

"Fair? What does "fair" have to do with it you were distracted, and I capitalized on it if you were in the same position as me you would've done the same. Also, we're in a battle so you should always stay focused I thought that we taught you that back at the gym, but I guess you needed to learn it again." Lily responds as she then returns Kabutops back to its Pokeball. Misty looks at Lily and knows that she's right then quickly returns Kingdra back to his Pokeball. Misty tells Kingdra thank you then puts the ball away; she then looks forward and speaks.

"It's now 2 against 2 Quaxwell, Primarina let's do this!" Misty says with the 2-mons nodding as Lily speaks.

"Looks like you're ready to continue well guess what me too. Swampert use Hydro Pump!" Lily calls Swampert fires a large stream of water out of its mouth that goes to hit Misty's Pokémon as she calls for a command.

"Dodge!" Misty calls the 2 mons manage to easily dodge the attack. When they do Samurott appears in front of Quaxwell as Lily speaks.

"Use Razor Shell!" "Quaxwell counter with Liquidation!" Both trainers' call. Samurott grabs a Scalchop with its right hand, turns it into a water sword and goes to hit Quaxwell with it. Quaxwell covers his right leg in water, turns it into a blade and jumps upward colliding with Samurott's attack. Quaxwell tries his best to knock away Samurott's blade, but the mon then swings out its right arm and sends Quaxwell flying as he lands in the water nearby as Misty speaks.

"Primarina use Ice Beam!" Misty calls Primarina fires the icy beam at Samurott as Lily speaks.

"Swampert use Rock Smash then Hydro Pump!" Lily calls Swampert appears in front of the beam covers its left fist in red energy and punches the beam easily destroying it. Swampert then fires out a large stream of water that heads for Primarina as Misty speaks.

"Counter with your Hydro Pump!" Misty calls Primarina, fires her own Hydro Pump that collides with Swampert's and creates an explosion as Lily speaks.

"Now Samurott use Aqua Jet!" Lily calls out of the smoke appears Samurott who's body is covered in water and hits Primarina causing damage to the mon as Misty speaks.

"Primarina use Hydro Pump!" "Dodge Samurott!" Both trainers' call Primarina fires the big stream of water but Samurott dodges by moving to the right. After that Swampert appears and has its left fist ready as Lily speaks.

"Swampert use Ice Punch!" Lily calls before Misty can tell Primarina to dodge Swampert covers its left fist in ice and punches Primarina hard in the face causing damage to the mon as Lily speaks.

"Now Samurott use Razor Shell!" Lily calls Samurott, brings out 2 Scalchops and slashes Primarina causing more damage to the mon as Misty speaks.

"Primarina!" Misty calls in worry as we now come over to Quaxwell who sees Primarina getting tag teamed by Samurott and Swampert. Quaxwell quickly jumps forward and heads for Samurott as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell use Liquidation on Samurott!" Misty calls Quaxwell, covers both of his feet in water and turns them into water blades. Quaxwell goes to hit Samurott as Lily speaks.

"Samurott block with Razor Shell!" Lily calls Samurott quickly turns around brings up its right blade and blocks Quaxwell's attack. Samurott then goes to hit Quaxwell with the blade in its left hand, but the mon quickly jumps back avoiding the move and lands on the land platform as Lily speaks.

"Swampert use Hydro Pump on Quaxwell!" "Quaxwell dodge then use Aqua Jet on Swampert!" Both trainers' call. Swampert fires out a big stream of water that goes to hit Quaxwell, but the mon manages to dodge by moving to the left. Quaxwell then covers his body in water and shoots forward heading for Swampert as Lily speaks.

"Block with Razor Shell Samurott!" Lily calls Samurott shoots forward and manages to block Quaxwell's attack. As Samurott continues to block Quaxwell's attack it along with Swampert look over at Primarina who has multiple water orbs around her as Misty speaks.

"Primarina use Sparkling Aria!" Misty calls Primarina fires multiple orbs of water at the 2 mons as Lily speaks.

"Samurott knock Quaxwell away and Swampert use Hydro Pump to get rid of the Sparkling Aria!" Lily calls Samurott swings out its arms and knocks Quaxwell away. Swampert looks at the water orbs and fires out a big Hydro Pump that easily gets rid of the orbs as Misty speaks.

"Now Primarina use Whirlpool!" Misty calls Primarina roars as she lifts up her hands above her head creating a big Whirlpool and throws it at the 2 mons as Lily speaks.

"Samurott cut it in half with Razor Shell!" "I thought you'd do that. Quaxwell use Hydro Pump!" Both trainers' call. When Samurott's about to go and cut the Whirlpool in half Quaxwell fires out a big stream of water that hits Samurott's right side and pushes it into Swampert causing them to fall. The 2 mons then look forward and see the Whirlpool coming as Lily speaks.

"Dodge!" Lily calls but was too late as the Whirlpool sucks the 2 mons inside and begins to spin them around as Lily speaks.

"Samurott, Swampert get out of there!" "Quaxwell quick use Air Slash and Primarina use Moonblast!" Both trainers' call. Before Samurott along with Swampert can even try and attempt to break free Quaxwell fires multiple slashes of wind while Primarina launches a pink orb at the Whirlpool. When the attacks connect with it Quaxwell's slashes of wind begin spinning around the Whirlpool while the Moonblast mixes with it and turns the water pink. Lily has a surprised look on her face and speaks.

"What's this?!" Lily says as Misty speaks.

"It's a new combination attack I just thought of and I'm calling it WhirlSlashBlast" Misty responds making Lily confused as back in the trainer hall Leaf speaks.

"Hey Ash, doesn't this kind of remind you of when you have Noivern and Gyarados mix Dragon Pulse and Hydro Pump with Hurricane?" Leaf asks as Ash speaks.

"Yeah, you're right" Ash says as Violet speaks.

"Looks like Misty took inspiration from your tactic and made it into something for her Pokémon" Violet says with Ash nodding as he along with everyone else continue to look at the screen. Back on the battlefield inside the now pink Whirlpool we see Samurott along with Swampert crying out in pain from not only continuing to be spun around but they also get hit by the slashes of wind and the fairy energy inside the Whirlpool that is doing damage to them. This keeps going until a few seconds later the Whirlpool explodes causing Samurott along with Swampert to fall on a nearby land platform as Lily speaks.

"Samurott, Swampert!" Lily calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see the 2-mons laying on their stomachs groaning in pain as Misty speaks.

"Let's keep up the pressure! Quaxwell, Primarina use Aqua Jet!" Misty calls the 2-mons nod as they cover their bodies in water and shoot forward heading for their respective target as Lily speaks.

"Samurott use Aqua Jet to counter Quaxwell and Swampert dodge then use Ice Punch on Primarina!" Lily calls Samurott covers its body in water shoots forward and collides with Quaxwell. The 2 mons go back and forth for a little while then back away from each other. Meanwhile, over with Swampert the mon manages to easily dodge Primarina's attack by moving to the left. Swampert then covers its right fist in ice and jumps forward going to hit Primarina as Misty smiles and speaks.

"You just made a mistake Lily. Primarina use Dazzling Gleam!" Misty calls surprising Lilly as she speaks.

"Swampert get out of there!" Lily calls but was too late as Primarina lets out a roar that sends out a big shiny light of fairy energy. Swampert's unable to dodge as it's then consumed into the light, Samurott sees the light heading for it as Lily speaks.

"Block Samurott!" Lily calls Samurott quickly brings up its arms and blocks the attack as it's then pushed into the water. A few seconds later the fairy light goes away as everyone looks forward and see Swampert laying on its stomach knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Swampert's unable to battle Primarina's the winner!" The ref says making Misty smile as she speaks.

"Way to go Primarina!" Misty says happily with the mon nodding as Lily speaks.

"Samurott use Aqua Jet then Razor Shell!" Lily calls as out of the water appears Samurott. The mon covers its body in water, shoots forward and hits Primarina. Samurott then creates two water swords and slashes Primarina appearing behind the mon. Primarina groans in pain as she then lays on the ground knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Primarina's unable to battle Samurott's the winner!" The ref says making Lily smile while Misty has a surprised look on her face. Misty then returns Primarina back to her Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Misty then puts the ball away as Lily speaks.

"Well Misty we both have 1 Pokémon left if you want to you can give up now to save yourself from an embarrassing loss." Lily says as Misty speaks.

"Sorry Lily but I'm not giving up as Quaxwell and I are going to beat you!" Misty states with Quaxwell agreeing with her as Lily sighs and speaks.

"Okay if that's what you want, Samurott get ready" Lily says with the mon nodding as it along with Quaxwell get in their battle stances the ref speaks.

"This is the final battle both trainers have one Pokémon left whoever defeats their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner!" The ref says with the 2 girls and their Pokémon nodding. Everyone continues to look at the battlefield in silence waiting for the battle to start as the ref speaks.

"Let the battle continue!" The ref says as Misty and Lily speak.

"Use Hydro Pump!" Both girls call as the 2-mons fire out 2 big streams of water that collide with each other and create an explosion as they both speak.

"Now use Aqua Jet!" The 2 girls call. The 2 mons cover their bodies in water, shoot forward and collide with each other. They begin pushing each other back and forth trying to see who's stronger but Samurott wins in the end by overpowering Quaxwell and pushes the mon a few feet away as Lily speaks.

"Now Samurott use Razor Shell!" Lily calls Samurott, brings out 2 Scalchops and turns them into water blades. Samurott jumps forward and goes to hit Quaxwell with its right blade as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell use Hydro Pump on the land platform to dodge!" Misty calls Quaxwell nods as he quickly fires the big stream of water on the land platform which helps propel Quaxwell high into the air and dodge Samurott's attack. Quaxwell now begins falling towards Samurott as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell use Liquidation!" "Samurott block with your left blade then hit Quaxwell with your right!" Both trainers' call. Quaxwell covers his feet in water and goes to kick Samurott with his right foot. Samurott quickly brings up its left blade and blocks the attack. Samurott then goes to jab Quaxwell with its right blade as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell dodge then use Aqua Jet!" Misty calls Quaxwell manages to dodge Samurott's attack by backing away. Once Quaxwell lands he covers his body in water, shoots forward and hits Samurott hard in the face as Lily speaks.

"Samurott hit Quaxwell with Razor Shell!" Lily calls Samurott quickly jabs Quaxwell hard in the stomach with its right blade making the water duck cough in pain as he's sent flying and lands on the land platform a few feet away. Quaxwell groans in pain but then stands back up as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell use Air Slash!" Misty calls Quaxwell's feet glow and swings them forward sending out multiple slashes of wind as Lily speaks.

"Samurott blow pass them with Aqua Jet!" Lily calls Samurott covers its body in water and shoots forward easily bypassing the slashes of wind as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell use Liquidation!" Misty calls Quaxwell, covers his right foot in water jumps forward and collides with Samurott. Quaxwell tries his best to knock Samurott away, but the mon is still too strong and pushes Quaxwell away forcing the mon to fall into the water as Lily speaks.

"Now Samurott dive into the water and go after Quaxwell!" Lily calls Samurott quickly dives into the water and begins swimming towards Quaxwell as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell use Aqua Cutter!" Misty calls Quaxwell, sees the incoming Samurott and swings out his legs firing two slashes of water at the mon as Lily speaks.

"Dodge Samurott then use Aqua Jet and Aqua Tail!" Lily calls Samurott easily dodges the slashes of water by moving to the right. Samurott covers its body in water, swims downward then shoots upward and jabs Quaxwell hard in the stomach. Quaxwell coughs in pain as the 2 mons are then seen coming out of the water and are high into the air. Samurott then covers its tail in water and hits Quaxwell sending the mon crashing down hard on a land platform as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell!" Misty calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Quaxwell laying on his stomach groaning in pain. Quaxwell looks forward and sees Samurott land on a nearby land platform and has its mouth opened as Lily speaks.

"Well Misty this was a fun battle but just like always I win. Samurott finish Quaxwell off with Hydro Pump!" Lily calls Samurott fires a big Hydro Pump that heads for Quaxwell as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell look out!" Misty calls in worry as Quaxwell doesn't know if he can dodge the attack. Back in the trainer hall everyone continues to watch the battle with Ash's Croconaw watching too and hoping that Quaxwell can dodge. Back on the battlefield the Hydro Pump's getting closer to Quaxwell and just when the move is about to hit the mon Quaxwell feels more strength welling up inside him as in just in the last second, he quickly jumps in the air and dodges the attack. Lily has a surprised look on her face as she speaks.

"So, he managed to dodge after all" Lily says as Misty speaks.

"Amazing Quaxwell!" Misty says happily as up in the air Quaxwell has a serious look on his face he feels more power welling up inside him then yells.

"QUAX!" Quaxwell lets out a loud yell as he begins to glow a bright white. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Misty speaks.

"Quaxwell's evolving!" Misty says while having a surprised look on her face as she along with everyone else continues to watch Quaxwell. They see the mon grow taller, the color of his plumage becomes dark blue with some areas having a light blue, he also gains tear like feathers around his tail. When the light of evolution fades away what was once a Quaxwell is now a Quaquaval. Quaquaval lands on a land platform and looks over at Samurott who along with Lily have surprised looks on their faces. In the stands Tracey speaks.

"Wow I wasn't expecting Misty's Quaxwell to evolve" Tracey says as Kukui speaks.

"Seeing as Samurott is physically stronger Quaxwell felt that the only way to match Samurott was for him to evolve." Kukui says with the group nodding while Pikachu and Togepi cheer. Back in the trainer hall the group are surprised too as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Great now that Quaquaval evolved Misty's chances of winning has just gone up." Ash says with the group nodding as Croconaw happily cheers. Back on the battlefield Misty breaks out of her shock, looks at Quaquaval, smiles and speaks.

"Quaquaval congrats on evolving now let's win this!" Misty says with the mon nodding as Lily then breaks out from her shock and speaks.

"You're Quaquaval may have just evolved but he's still no match for my Samurott! Samurott use Aqua Jet!" Lily calls Samurott covers its body in water and shoots forward heading for Quaquaval as Misty speaks.

"Counter with your Aqua Jet!" Misty calls Quaquaval, covers his body in water shoots forward and collides with Samurott. The 2 mons begin pushing each other back and forth for a little while then break away from each other as Lily speaks.

"So, his strength is now equal to Samurott's" Lily says to herself as she calls for her next command.

"Samurott use Razor Shell!" Lily calls Samurott, creates two water swords and shoots forward going to hit Quaquaval as Misty speaks.

"Dodge Quaquaval!" Misty calls Quaquaval, sees Samurott coming and manages to easily dodge the attack as Lily speaks.

"Samurott keep going!" "Quaquaval keep dodging!" Both trainers' call. Samurott continues trying to slash Quaquaval, but the mon is easily dodging by dancing elegantly and is making Lily annoyed. As Quaquaval continues to dodge Misty calls for her next command.

"Okay Quaquaval it's time to attack use Aqua Step!" Misty calls after Quaquaval dodges another one of Samurott's slashes, Quaquaval kicks away Samurott's blades and begins to not only kick the mon but also uses his tear like feathers to hit Samurott. Samurott cries out in pain as Quaquaval continues to hit Samurott until he kicks the mon one more time and sends it a few feet away. Samurott manages to stop itself as it looks over at Quaquaval Lily speaks.

"Samurott use Hydro Pump!" Quaquaval jump in the air to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Samurott fires out a big stream of water from its mouth that goes to hit Quaquaval, but the mon jumps high in the air and avoids the attack. Samurott looks up at Quaquaval as Lily speaks.

"Samurott we're ending this now! Use Razor Shell!" Lily calls Samurott lets out a mighty roar as it combines two Scalchops and creates a big water sword. Samurott then jumps in the air and heads for Quaquaval as Misty speaks.

"Quaquaval counter with Liquidation!" Misty calls Quaquaval nods as he covers his right foot in water turning it into a water blade. Quaquaval then shoots downward and collides with Samurott. When the 2 mons collide, they begin pushing each other back and forth as Lily speaks.

"Come on Samurott put more power into it!" Lily calls Samurott roars increasing the power of its Razor Shell and begins to push Quaquaval back as Misty speaks.

"Quaquaval don't let Samurott beat you!" Misty calls with Quaquaval nodding as he roars too increasing the power of his Liquidation. Once Quaquaval does that his Liquidation begins to make the Razor Shell crack more and more until the move eventually breaks. Lily along with Samurott have surprised looks on their faces as Lily speaks.

"No way" Lily says as Misty speaks.

"DO IT NOW QUAQUAVAL!" Misty yells as Quaquaval roars he shoots downward and jabs Samurott hard in the stomach. Samurott coughs in pain as the 2 mons then come crashing down on a land platform creating an explosion along with a strong wind as Lily speaks.

"Samurott!" Lily calls in worry as suddenly the wind stops. Once the wind goes away everyone looks at the battlefield waiting for the smoke to clear. A few seconds later the smoke goes away, and everyone can see Quaquaval standing while looking at an unconscious Samurott who's laying on its back. The ref then makes the call.

"Samurott's unable to battle Quaquaval's the winner! Seeing as contestant Lily has no more Pokémon left contestant Misty is the winner and will move onto the next round!" The ref says as Jake speaks.

"This battle has finally reached its end let's all give a round of applause for Misty and Quaquaval!" Jake says as the crowd begins to clap/cheer for them. Meanwhile on the battlefield Misty has a surprised look on her face but she then smiles and speaks.

"WE BEAT LILY!" Misty cheers with Quaquaval cheering as well making the crowd clap/cheer for her more. In the stands Tracey, Kiawe, Lillie, Kukui, Burnet, Daisy, Pikachu, and Togepi cheer. In the trainer hall the group cheers too as Leaf and Lana speak.

"She won!" The 2 girls say happily as Nemona speaks.

"Man, that battle was exciting!" Nemona says while having stars in her eyes with Barry agreeing with her as Ash speaks.

"I knew Misty would win" Ash says happily while Croconaw begins to dance. Meanwhile with Violet she has a smile on her face. Back on the battlefield Lily surprised by the outcome as she speaks.

"She's really grown" Lily says to herself as she smiles and returns Samurott back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Lily then looks forward and sees Misty celebrating with her Pokémon (Kingdra and Primarina came out of their Pokeball's). As they continue to celebrate Misty looks at the 3 mons and speaks.

"You 3 all did amazing thank you! And Quaquaval congratulations again on evolving" Misty says with the 3-mons nodding as they smile Misty then hears a voice.

"Hey" The voice says causing Misty along with her Pokémon to turn around and when they do they see Lily. Lily walks over to them and when she gets close enough, she stares at Misty. The 2 girls continue to stare at each other for a little while until Lily smiles and speaks.

"You really got me good Misty congratulations you won fair and square" Lily says as she smiles and holds out her right hand. Misty looks at Lily smiles and speaks.

"Thank you, Lily," Misty says as she grabs Lily's hand with her own Lily then looks at Misty and speaks.

"But don't let this win go over your head because the next time we battle you'll be the one who loses" Lily says while having a confident smile on her face making Misty smile too as she speaks.

"We'll see about that" Misty says as they then shake each other's hands causing the crowd to clap/cheer for them. After that Misty returns her Pokémon back to their Pokeball's and she along with Lily head back to the trainer hall. When they make it, they reunite with the group who tell them that their battle was amazing, making both girls happy as they say thank you. Misty then brings Quaquaval back out as Croconaw wanted to see him, the 2 mons look at each other and begin to happily dance which makes the group smile. After that 10 minutes later the final battle of the day happened it's now nighttime and we see 8 trainers looking up at the stage where Jake, Lorelai, Rika, Larry, and Hassel are. The 8 trainers continue to look at them as Lorelai grabs the microphone and speaks.

"Congratulations on you 8 trainers for making it this far in the competition all of your battles today were great." Lorelai says with the 8 trainers nodding as Lorelai then hands the microphone over to Jake who begins to speak.

"Now please take a look at the screen to see who your opponent is and which stadium you'll be battling in tomorrow" Jake says as the 8 trainers look at the screen, they see their images and they begin to spin around. As the images continue to spin, they suddenly come to a stop as Jake speaks.

"Please look at the screen to see who your opponent is" Jake says as the 8 trainers look at the screen Ash looks at Leaf and speaks.

"Who's your opponent Leaf?" Ash asks as Leaf speaks.

"Let's see I'm battling a girl named Kim and we'll be battling at Stadium 1. Who's your opponent Ash?" Leaf responds with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"My opponent is someone named Tony and we're battling in stadium 3" Ash responds with Leaf nodding as Barry speaks.

"Nemona's my opponent!" Barry says as Nemona speaks.

"Cool! Let's have ourselves a fruitful battle tomorrow" Nemona says as Barry smiles and speaks.

"Sure, and just so you know I'm going to be the one who wins" Barry says while having a confident look on his face as Nemona smiles. We now cut over to Misty, she continues to look at the screen and speaks.

"Let's see I'm not facing Ash, Leaf, Nemona, or Barry so the one I'm battling tomorrow is Violet" Misty says while having a surprised look on her face as Violet walks over to Misty. When Violet gets close enough Misty looks at her as the blue haired girl speaks.

"Misty let's have a great battle tomorrow and make sure to not hold anything back because I'm coming at you with full force." Violet says, making Misty smile as she speaks.

"And I'll do the same" Misty says while having an excited look on her face and making Violet smile as Jake speaks.

"Now as you all know seeing as how you all passed through the first 2 rounds. Rounds 3-5 will all be 6v6 single battles make sure you all choose your 6 Pokémon carefully for your matches tomorrow" Jake says with the 8 trainers nodding as after that they all leave. When they do they meet up with Tracey, Kiawe, Kukui, Burnet, Lilie, and Daisy. Tracey hands over Pikachu and Togepi to Ash and Misty respectively then after that the group say goodbye to each other and go to where they're staying at to rest as the chapter comes to an end.
