A/N surferdudette75, you're not the first reviewer to urge me to have a story where Cordy's parents are aware of the supernatural. Most stories I write it's problematic to have them be aware of the supernatural while they're still rich and traveling as much as is implied on the show. Implied the way Xander's parents being drunk abusers and Willow's parents being absent is implied and has become mostly fanfiction fact. Mainly because they'd have to be heartless monsters to leave her in Sunnydale while they're traveling. However, in this story it is possible because once they lost their money, they were stuck in Sunnydale. A Sunnydale where people are beginning to migrate out because Sunnydale Syndrome might have been connected to the Mayor. Which is also implied on the show, but never confirmed, but the Buffy wiki does say the population did start declining after the Mayor was defeated. So circumstantial evidence.

As for Harmony from the prime reality, off camera she has been practicing, so yes, I'm thinking her power can grow. Which could cause all kinds of fun adventures. 😁

Kendra being summoned from another reality and saved that way is a great idea too, I may be able to work it into a future arc in this story, I'll try.

Niddhogg, baby's identity is Top Secret, for now. 😊

Joyce made hot chocolate and settled the three girls around her table. "I'm just going to acknowledge the awkwardness of this before we get started." She said. "But a lot's happened in the last three days and I think we need to have what is probably the first of many conversations about what's happened and continuing to happen. Cordelia, dear, let's start with you. Your entire life keeps changing on you. And from what I understand, you've been forced to be pregnant before and nearly died."

"Yeah, demon babies and they influenced my mind to make me fight for them. That pregnancy was deliberately forced on me, this one is most likely an accident. Until the Seer that did all this makes herself known we won't know if she had any idea about the baby. But she clearly knew Xander had become family with Giles, the compulsion specified his new name."

"Which wasn't even a possibility before our visitor showed up." Faith pointed out. "I doubt the Seer was aware of that prior to it happening, she'd have to be the most powerful Seer ever to foresee a totally random event. The chances of that device bringing a Xander from another reality were vanishingly small already, that it brought this particular Xander, whose people were destroyed by the Powers, is an even smaller possibility.

"You're probably right." Joyce agreed. "However the moment he appeared new possibilities began to form, more than would have anyway because our Xander basically multiples possibilities. The Seer probably began Seeing some of those possibilities and seized the opportunity to save your life and achieve whatever her goal is. My concern though, is with you kids and the emotional impact of all this. Xander and Cordelia were manipulated out of the relationship they were building and attempted to rebuild and I know Xander still has feelings where you're concerned, Cordelia. I also know he cares about Faith and the two of them are interested in each other. Xander being tied to you complicates an already complicated situation."

"Which is why Queenie and I are working on being nice to each other." Faith sipped her hot chocolate and sighed. "Other Xander loved and lost his Cordy and fell in love with other me a few years later. I can see he loves other me. I can also see he misses his Cordy. Our Xander missed you too while you were apart, Queenie, I can see that. But we also want to see what we might have together. Complicated is a good way of putting it. And neither of us want to make him choose between us, we'd all end up hurt and miserable."

"A very mature way of trying to approach it, it may not work, but I'm proud of you for trying." Joyce patted Faith's hand.

"I liked him before it got all messed up." Faith admitted. "I regretted kicking him out after we had sex, I kinda panicked. The way he was looking at me, like I was something...special. Like he saw something...I don't know, I just know he never looked at me the way other guys did. Sure, he drooled over my naked alligator wrestling story, but teenage hormones drowning his brain. So I spent like an hour questioning B and trying to see if he was for real. Only she completely missed the fact that I was asking questions because I was interested."

"Okay, yeah, I admit it." Buffy rolled her eyes. "But then I don't get the attraction myself, Xander's cute, but definitely not my type."

"Yeah, he's got a pulse, among other things." Faith smirked. "Of course, you know what would uncomplicate this situation?"

"What?" Cordelia asked.

"If we could figure out how to make a three-way relationship work. If you and I shared Xander and I've gotta admit, I wouldn't kick either one of you outta bed, not again anyway." Faith smirked as Buffy choked on her hot chocolate and Cordelia stared at Faith and the thought crossed her mind, 'I hate sharing, so why am I not ripping her a new one for suggesting it?' If you can't be honest with yourself, you can't be honest with anyone else. And Cordelia was trying to figure out why she wasn't just rejecting Faith's suggestion or treating it like a joke.
