This is chapter 2.

Chapter 2: The Betrayal

Banjo went to the hollow and stand on the tree branch. While he was outside, Banjo hears moaning between two birds. He went inside his hollow, he was so shocked, he sees Grace and Garth kissing each other. They were making passionate kisses to each other. Banjo watched their kisses with sad faces. Grace betrayed Banjo with Garth.

"Oh Garth, you are so sweet." Grace said.

"Yeah, I love romance." Garth said as he kiss Grace.

Garth and Grace notice that Banjo is there.

"Hey Banjo." Grace said.

"You cheated on me, why?" Banjo yelled.

"I love Garth, he is the love of my life. You are nothing but a pet." Grace yelled at Banjo.

"I thought you love me." Banjo said.

"I never did. Our love was fake. Garth was my boyfriend all along. Do me a favor, don't come back to the Amazon ever again." Grace yelled.

"Fine, I don't want to stay anyway." Banjo yelled at his former wife, got his fanny pack, and fly away.

"Not cool mom, I can't believe you." Junior yelled.

Banjo is at the tree branch, he was crying in tears. He was wrecked after he saw his wife cheated on him. The scarlet macaw came to see him.

"Hey Hero." Felipe greeted.

Banjo turned seeing his former enemy currently now friend, "Hey Felipe."

"What's wrong?" Felipe asked him.

"Grace cheated on me with Garth." Banjo said.

"What, how did that happen?" Felipe asked him.

"Grace and Garth was kissing each other." Banjo said.

"Garth was always the ladies man just like Roberto." Felipe said.

"I hate when you bring that up." Banjo yelled.

Felipe is shocked of his frenemy attitude.

"Did I say something wrong?" Felipe asked Banjo.

"I am so sorry Felipe, I didn't mean to yell at you. I am so upset on what just happened." Banjo said.

"I understand you are angry and hurt." Felipe said.

"I am leaving the Amazon for good and go back home to Rio." Banjo said.

"Why? You got your family and friends. You found the jungle as your home. Me and my tribe are being friends with you and your kind." Felipe said.

"Felipe. I never like Garth when I first met him. He sings, he dance, and he gets ladies. Grace fall in love with him, I am so jealous of him. I am going back to Rio. Rio is my real home and I will live with humans again. Tell Eduardo that I left the Amazon." Banjo said.

"Okay, I will tell him. Have a safe flight." Felipe said.

"Thanks." Banjo said.

"You're welcome." Felipe said and he flew to his tribe.

Blu and Jewel see Banjo crying. Blu and Jewel landed next to Banjo on the tree branch.

"Banjo, why are you crying?" Jewel asked him.

"Me and Grace broke up because she cheated on me." Banjo said in a sad tone.

"What!" Jewel said in shock.

"Oh My God, how could she do this? I thought you guys love each other." Blu asked Banjo.

"I don't know. I think she was too embarrassed to be with me. She thinks I am a pet. She thinks Garth is a perfect mate for her. You won't see me again. I want to go home which is Rio. Now I don't have anyone." Banjo cried even more.

"You don't deserve to go back to her. Me and Blu have arguments before but we still love each other. I would never cheat on him." Jewel said.

"I am still going back to Rio." Banjo said.

"I understand. We will miss you bro. Tell Linda that I said hi." Blu said.

"Be safe. Have a good life back in Rio." Jewel said.

Banjo hug Blu and Jewel. Blu and Jewel hug him back. "Thank guys. I thought I will live a good life in the Amazon with Grace and my kids but I was wrong." Banjo said.

Blu and Jewel leave Banjo and go back to their hollow. Banjo is sitting in the tree branch and he is holding his legs. Junior went to check up on his father and sit next to him.

"Dad, are you okay?" Junior asked sadly.

"No I am not okay. Grace never love me and she betrayed me with Garth." Banjo said as he was crying.

"You still have me dad." Junior said.

"Awww, thank you." Banjo said as he hugs his son. Junior hugs him back.

"Should we start flying to Rio?" Junior asked his father.

"I thought you love it here." Banjo said in a curious way.

"I do but I love you more dad." Junior said.

"Okay son. You can come with me to Rio." Banjo said.

The female Scarlet macaw heard the conversation between Banjo and Junior.

"Hey guys my name is Mary. I heard your conversation. I want to ask you guys can I come with you two?" Mary asked Banjo and Junior.

"Sure you can come with us Mary. Did you ask your parents?" Banjo said in a nice manner.

"No, let me ask them." Mary said.

"We will wait for you." Banjo said.

Mary went to her hollow.

"Hey mom and dad. Can I go to Rio with Banjo and my boyfriend Junior?" Mary asked her parents.

"Sure." Katie said.

"Of course but be careful." Winston said.

"Okay thanks guys." Mary hugs her parents.

"You're welcome sweetheart." Katie said as she and Winston hugs their daughter back.

Mary went back to Banjo and Junior.

"Well, what did your parents say Mary?" Banjo asked Mary.

"I talk to my parents and they said yes." Mary said.

"Wonderful Mary. Is it awesome for your girlfriend to come with us, right Junior?" Banjo asked his son.

"That is right dad. Welcome aboard Mary." Junior said as he welcomed her of the journey to Rio.

"Thanks, I am excited to go to Rio." Mary said.

"As you should." Banjo said.

"Now let's start heading to Rio dad, it is about to get dark soon." Junior said.

"Yeah, it's a long flight." Banjo said.

The three birds flew off to get to Rio before the week is over.

Six hours later

"Dad my wings hurt." Junior complained. Mary is sleeping on Junior's back.

"Mine too son, let's fly a little bit longer until we arrived at the next city, and we will rest." Banjo said.

"When are we going to arrive at the next city, dad?" Junior asked his father.

"Soon." Banjo answered.

"She is so pretty when she sleeps." Junior said as he looked at Mary sleeping.

The three birds arrive at the next city called Ecuador. They found a tree to sleep in.

"Finally, my wings can rest for tomorrow." Junior said.

"Son, remember we got to wake up early tomorrow if we want to get to Rio faster." Banjo said.

"Okay dad." Junior said.

"I can finally sleep." Mary said.

"Junior is so cute with his girlfriend." Banjo commented.

Junior blushed as his face turned red.
