Week 7
The morning of the USJ trip arrives, and students are ushered onto a bus to be taken away after changing into their hero costumes, and Izuku takes his communication device from the Student Council with him.
All right, Aizawa said . Today is the field Trip to usj we will be learning about Rescue Heroes with Thirteen
my quirk isn't flashy at all said Eijirou.
It's kinda boring Compared to everyone else's
That's not true, said Mina.
I mean look At Izuku he doesn't even have a quirk to deem boring or flashy.
Oh crap I'm so sorry Izuku Eijirou said .
It's ok said Izuku smiling
Besides Your quirk isn't boring. I already have a page of analysis for your quirk, then three more pages full of theories.
Eijirou smiles
No offense Izuku how did you got into U.A., even placing first in the entrance exam, without a quirk said Tsuyu
He winces. Not because of her blunt tone, but of the phrasing. Of making it sound like he doesn't deserve that placement. Like he wasn't enough.
Mic overhears, and he cuts in Tsuyu, a blunt tone can be explained, but her words weren't phrased right at all .
She thinks about it, wondering where she went wrong, before finally coming out with, "It was hard for me with a quirk, and you did it all without one. I think I can learn about quirkless fighting from you."
Izuku relaxes at the rephrasing, as it no longer sounded like she was talking down to him. Or even at him.
Oh how Izuku got first place was so cool, Ochako said he used
broken pipes and environmental weapons to beat the robots.
I mean denki destroyed the most robots Said Izuku denying the praise.
Oh that was just pure luck Denki Said
My quirk was just effective against machines
Bakugou actually Got the max villain Points and zero In everything else Said Kyouka
Bakugou glares at her, opening his mouth to yell, but shuts it before he does, turning his head to glare out the window.
The conversation continues, until the bus stops outside of the Unforeseen Simulation Joint.
Thirteen greets them, waving at the other members of staff with three fingers. Izuku, as the only one who knows All Might's secrets, believes that he's run out of time.
The staff are annoyed by this, as All Might was warned that villains may appear during this lesson, but they have no choice but to continue.
Thirteen Wore a white space suit design using what appears to be a puffy jacket instead of an actual suit, a black helmet with white eyes, and a pair of yellow boots.
Meanwhile, All Might is rushing to U.A., only to hear a scream - a purse snatcher. There are other heroes, he knows. There's a chance villains will show up at the USJ, he knows.
But it's not in him to allow others to do a job he is more than able to do - not since the Sludge Villain.
He turns and wastes more time
Back at usj
Today we are learning about Rescues Said Thirteen .
Now my quirk is called black hole which allows me to create a small black hole through my fingertips and since it is such a dangerous ability that can kill someone with ease I have this suit which I'm wearing which allows me to keep the extremely high destructive potential of me Quirk in check. Plus I do Rescue missions
We have five areas with training Dummies to rescue
conflaguartion zone with real fire
the flood zone
the landslide zone
the ruins zone
the mountain zone
These controls can be found within separate shelters at each area, but only the teachers know how it works and will trigger them. There are three settings to them - minor, medium, and major.
The explanation continues, but before they can do more, a single purple portal opens by the fountain, noticed by Mina.
"Is that part of the lesson?" she asks, and Mic steps in front of them.
"No," Aizawa says, a hand on his scarf. "Those are villains. Get back."
For a moment, the students aren't sure whether to believe this or not - his logical ruses could go to any extent. But, Mic, Snipe, and Thirteen are ready for battle, and they realise it truly is real.
Izuku recognises the portal, and informs the teachers that it's the same villain who infiltrated the staff room and stole the papers.
One by one, more and more villains appear. One, two, ten, twenty, thirty, fifty, a hundred, two hundred. Five hundred villains arrive, and it's clear now more than ever that this is real.
Right besides Tomura was the man who opened the portal.
His entire body was made out of a dark purple mist, save for his eyes, which were a glowing yellow. He wore a very elegant suit with a tie and had a metal brace that goes from around his collarbone to just below his eyes. This was Kurogiri
Tomura stands at the forefront, head lolling back. "Hey, heroes..." he greets, his voice echoing as a villain increases his volume. "We are here."
He looks Around crap All might isn't here. Wait if All Might really is as great as he makes himself look, he would come running if a few students died.
He reaches out, and Kurogiri recognises the command, opening a portal. His hand sinks into it, just as another portal opens behind a students' back - Shouto's. He reacts quickly, creating a shield of ice to take the hit. Tomura's hand decays it on touch, and retracts back into the portal when he realises his plan failed.
Mic and Aizawa rush in, with Mic ordering Thirteen and Snipe to protect the students. They land among the 500 villains, and they fight back-to-back.
Mic's vocal projections are strong enough to send many villains flying back, and Aizawa cancelling multiple quirks at once, using his scarf and combat prowess to take them down, as they both try to get to Tomura and Kurogiri.
Snipe tells Thirteen to shield the kids, and stand at the top of the stairs, backing Mic and Aizawa up via sniping.
Kurogiri, however, warps behind him and in front of the students. Thirteen steps in front of them, holding their hands out. "Stand back!" They yell, but before they can open their gloves and use their quirk, Bakugou and Eijirou rush in, attacking Kurogiri.
In doing so, they disrupt Thirteen's flow, and Kurogiri is unaffected by either of their attacks. He is thus given the opportunity to open multiple portals underneath the students. Mezou manages to grab multiple students, but nobody else is able to react as fast.
Seeing Tenya, in particular, escaping the portal, Izuku throws his communicator towards him before he falls .
get within a mile of U.A. and call the Student Council, said Izuku.
Izuku, Mashirao, and Kyouka land in the conflaguartion zone, the fires already blazing.
Bakugou, Kouji, and Hanta land in the flood zone, sinking into the water almost immediately.
Mina, Shouto, and Rikidou land in the landslide zone, the ground trembling beneath them already picking up.
Tsuyu and Tooru land in the ruins zone, destroyed buildings falling apart all around them.
Yuuga, Denki, and Minoru land in the mountain zone, rolling down the rocky terrain.
Momo and Eijirou land in the downpour zone, water and wind attacking them first.
Mezou, Tenya, Ochako, and Fumikage are still at the entrance.
And villains await each of them
Izuku, Mashirao, and Kyouka know straight away that they need to get out, the heat far too much for them to fight to their best, but roughly fifty villains surround them, blocking any attempts to escape.
Mashirao's tail is getting bitten by the flames, and Kyouka's sound waves are being muffled by the fire. Izuku finds himself.
The villains attack, and they're brutal. Fire, heat, smoke, gas, whatever their quirks are, they weaponise them
none of our quirks clash with the zone - it was planned thoroughly.
Izuku thought.
More than that: they're able to dodge Mashirao's tail with an uncomfortable amount of ease, and wear earplugs to combat Kyouka's quirk.
They know. They know our quirks
Kyou," they call me. Kyou, meaning hollow. Blank. That's all I am to them. A blank, hollow nothing without a quirk to worry about.
If i was so useless, then i wouldn't have even made it into U.A. I wouldn't be considered better than Bakugou - the person everyone ordered when they were kids. All Might wouldn't believe in me so much. If I was useless, I'd still be at home, crying over my weaknesses.
I'm not useless, and so I'll use my most dangerous weapon - my brain.
Jiro-san!" he calls, rushing to her side and blocking a red-hot arm with his blade. "Aim up - at the ceiling! As big as you can.
I've seen him dissect people's quirks like their nothing. He's the Student Council secretary by recommendation. He made the NEWS with the Sludge Villain. Kyouka thought.
She doesn't dare question him, and aims a sound blast at the ceiling, as loud as she can make it.
Faster than she thought it would happen, the ceiling cracks, bits of the material falling. Mashirao and Izuku easily dodge the rubble, but so do the villains.
"Again!" Izuku commands, and she does as ordered, allowing him and Mashirao to protect her as she does. And again. Until the ceiling is nearly gone.
"What now?" Mashirao asks, his voice shaking but his body as strong as ever. The heat that drowned them was leaving with the open ceiling, but it did nothing to stop the fires.
Izuku licks his lips, his mind running. The villains aren't new to this, that was obvious with their lack of hesitation to kill. They knew our quirks, or lack thereof, and they're plenty capable of contact. He thought .
There had to be something I could do to turn those strengths against them.
Because they may have known their quirks, and knew that the guy with a furry tail would be cautious of fire, and that soundwaves could be muffled by fire, but they didn't know everything. Something that works only when soundwaves are used as a physical attack.
Because they may have known our quirks, and knew that the guy with a furry tail would be cautious of fire, and that soundwaves could be muffled by fire, but they didn't know everything. Something that works only when soundwaves are used as a physical attack.
And with the ceiling gone, it would work now more than ever.
"Jiro-san," he says, "are you able to make consecutive blasts?"
She nods, "Yeah! But not as powerful as the one I used to take down the ceiling!"
"That's fine!" he assured, using his hidden blade in his arm brace to force a villain away from him, his stomach churning at the sight of the blood that coated his arm. "Aim them in front of you! Ojirou-kun, can you pick her up and spin around with her?"
Sorry," Mashirao mumbles, before grabbing Kyouka by her pits. Her face flushes red at the action, but she does as commanded anyway, plugging her ears into her speakers, blasting two waves at a time as Mashirao began to spin, the waves striking the flames.
At first, it only flickers. But the more they spin, the more those waves strike the flames, killing them little by little, and also serving to make the villains disorientated by the blasts.
As they do that, Izuku runs, booking it towards the entrance, using the villains to block Kyouka's waves.
But, as he finally reaches the entrance, he doesn't leave. No, he goes into the control room just beside it.
A villain awaits him, and is taken by surprise. Water begins to build around his hand - he was probably stationed here in case the flames become too much - but Izuku reacts faster, taking his kunai and slicing his palm. The villain drops his hand, clutching it in his agony, and Izuku takes the chance to knock him out via kneeing his face.
With that done, he gets to the control panel, observing the interface, confused by all the switches and buttons, before he finds an emergency kill-switch.
He presses it, and water gushes from sprinklers in the ground, killing the rest of the flames.
Noticing the opportunity, Mashirao lets Kyouka go, and they easily regain their footing, fighting back more comfortably.
As they do, Izuku is blindsided. A villain enters the control room, ears bleeding when their plugs fall and they are undefended before Kyouka's waves. He grabs Izuku's wrist, heating his hand up immediately, burning his wrist.
Izuku tries to fight him off, but the villain's grasp is too tight, too strong.
Mashirao and Kyouka are still busy fighting against the remaining forty-something villains, and miss this entirely.
"Come with me, Kyou," the villain demands. Hearing and feeling his skin begin to blister, he realises then and there that he has no choice
Meanwhile Aizawa and Mic fight off against the villains in the central plaza, and they're seasoned heroes who worked together back in U.A. They're not losing anytime soon, working in tandem with each other, able to fight off against groups of villains at a time, even when faced with a hundred of them.
They'd been unable to stop those groups of fifty from warping away, but they could at least take out the remaining hundred.
It was easy for them, with Mic's blasts targeting multiple waves of them, and Aizawa's quirk rendering handfuls at a time unable to use the quirks they relied so heavily on.
Tomura watches, scratching at his neck. "One... two... three..." He watches Aizawa's hair fall after three seconds, and he watches each breath Mic takes.
Tomura watches, scratching at his neck. "One... two... three..." He watches Aizawa's hair fall after three seconds, and he watches each breath Mic takes.
He watches as his pathetic cannonfodder lose before two pro heroes, three with Snipe's back-up from behind. Though that quickly ran out as he spun around, shooting at Kurogiri with a hand over his bleeding hip.
"Ah..." He smiles beneath Father. "I understand it now."
And so he steps forth, rushing at Aizawa, and grabs his elbow, just as his hair falls. His quirk comes to him in a flash, decaying the cloth of his shirt, then the skin beneath it.
Hissing, Aizawa leapt back. Mic turned as he heard this, but Tomura was prepared. He was already running as Mic spun, and his hands were already at Mic's throat before he could make any noise - especially since he's timed how long his breaths are before each attack.
His fingertips graze Mic's throat, but Mic reacts with a fist to his arm, saving himself barely.
Aizawa jumps in once more, but Tomura is already ducking before he attacks as he usually does - a roundhouse kick aimed at the head. Mic takes the opportunity to send a shockwave with his voice, but it doesn't work as Tomura pulls Aizawa towards him, forcing him to cancel Mic's quirk less he gets the brunt of the damage.
"Eraserhead, right?" Tomura asks, his voice giddy as though he'd just met his idol. "Your quirk is OP, but your stats are lacking. Too easy to parry." He slammed a hand on his back, relishing as Aizawa writhed and screamed under his touch.
Mic, not risking endangering Aizawa's life further, runs up, kicking Tomura away from him, uneasy as the blood that dripped from Aizawa's back.
Just then, Kurogiri appears by Tomura's side. "Shigaraki-sama," he greets first, then continues, "the two heroes have been dealt with."
Mic chances a look behind, and Snipe lays on the stairs, blood slowly pooling beneath him. Atop the stairs, Thirteen lay with their back blown out. Ochako, Mezou, and Fumikage are by their sides, doing whatever they can to prolong any life left, Dark Shadow keeping Thirteen's hole sealed, Mezou pressing several hands against Snipe's wounds, and Ochako defending both of them from the villains slowly making their way up to them.
"One student managed to escape."
Tomura twitches, aggravated. "Kurogiri..." he drawls. "If you were anyone else, I'd kill you."
"Apologies, Shigaraki-sama." Kurogiri summons another portal - and more to catch the shockwaves Mic sent, sending them back with even more. The portal besides him and Tomura grows with each second, large enough to rival All Might's size.
And a single black hand exists.
Mic and Aizawa don't stand a chance.
Met Noumu the Anti-Symbol of Peace he said as a monster walked out of the portal.
Nomu is a large, black humanoid monster, standing taller than All Might, with a very muscular body that has many scars on it. His brain is exposed on the top of his head, while his large eyes are around it. He has a beak-like mouth with an array of sharp teeth.
Tomura couldn't even bring himself to smile at the sight of four pro heroes laying on the ground, not standing a single chance against the Noumu.
It was all so boring.
With a sigh, he scanned the area. Not a single student, other than Kurogiri's mistake, have managed to escape their zones. The villains couldn't stand a chance against the pros, but the students didn't stand a single chance against them.
Even that round-faced girl was struggling with the remaining twenty left after Present Mic and Eraserhead dealt with the majority.
"Sir!" Groaning, he looked to the side.
And a smile finally came upon him.
"This quirkless freak ruined our plan! What d'you wanna do with him?"
The boy pulled his wrist from the underling's hold, body curling him from the pain, his skin was smoking now yet, as his eyes peered up to him, it was ferocious.
Midoriya Izuku," he greeted. "The pathetic hero wannabe who nearly ruined my plans, and apparently did ruin the conflagration team's."
He stretched his hands out either side, grinning with teeth. "Welcome.
Meanwhile at the student council meeting
Kisai pulled her hair behind her ear, trying to focus on Midnight's lesson. As she did, her communicator beeped. Four times. Once meant it came from her, two meant it came from Ayame, three was from Osamu, five was from Daiki. Four meant one Midoriya Izuku.
But, it was the middle of classes.
Well, she supposed he was new, so it could be forgiven.
Raising a hand, she waited for Midnight to call on her, requesting permission to answer.
"Yes, of course," Midnight nodded.
As soon as she shut the door behind her, she accepted the call. "Midoriya-kun, you should be in class. Can this not-?"
"This is Iida Tensei from Class 1-A!" She nearly ended the call from shock alone. "Villains have infiltrated the USJ and blocked out communications! Please inform the staff - I shall be arriving in ten minutes!"
Right. That was a damn good reason to disrupt her lesson.
Slamming the door open, she yelled, "Emergency! Intruders at the USJ!"
