Tiffany struggled and tried to break free as the ants carried her through the grass with Z and Weaver leading the way. She now realized that the creatures kidnapping her, were not aliens, but ants. Tiffany wondered how the ants shrank her and what they were going to do with her. She asked what her captors were taking her and what they were going to do with her, but the ants refused to answer her. Tiffany looked ahead and saw the anthill. She looked on at the ant hill in horror. From her new size and perspective the ant hill looked like a small mountain or volcano. Tiffany remembered watching a movie about some island savages that sacrificed a beautiful girl to a volcano and began to fear she was about to meet a similar fate. The ants stopped at the mouth of the entrance and dangled Tiffany near the edge. Tiffany looked fearfully down the hole and glance behind her to see Z and Weaver having a brief discussion about something and the next thing she knew Weaver rushed forward and slammed into her back sending her falling into the hole with a scream.
Tiffany screamed as the wind blew into her face and hair as she fell deeper and deeper into the hill. The fall felt like an eternity. Tiffany eventually reached a much larger chamber falling past ants with silk shooters. One ant shot his silk shooter at Tiffany striking her in the rear, which abruptly stopped her fall for a few seconds like a bungee cord and then she shot back up breaking the silk strand and landed on a moss covered rock. Tiffany groaned and looked up to see that she was face-to-face with a caterpillar!
"They're going to feed me to this beast!" Thought Tiffany with horror before she began screaming.
The caterpillar screamed, along with the ant that was riding it. Tiffany and the bugs continued screaming for a few more seconds before another ant shot Tiffany in the rear with a silk shooter and sent Tiffany into the air again. The tiny girl flew through the air eventually breaking the strand, only to get hit by another strand of silk to pull her along. Tiffany was hit in the rear, back, chest, and front of her waist. Little bits of silk stuck to Tiffany's body giving her makeshift chest coverings as well as a loincloth. Tiffany was then dropped onto a line of ants that passed her down with incredible speed and unceremoniously dropped her onto a small pile of junk.
Tiffany grumbled as she got to her feet and ants surrounded her and looked at her. One ant poked Tiffany and a look of confusion and disgust appeared on their.
The Destroyer's skin is soft!" Said the ant.
"The Destroyer is inside out?!" Cried another ant.
The ants looked disgusted and disturbed by this discovery.
"Should we take the human to the chamber?" Asked one ant.
"No we must await the arrival of the others." Said another ant.
Tiffany saw on the ground in the fetal position as she wondered who else was coming.
Zoc and his group approached the entrance of the anthill with the captive Lucas. The tiny boy was dangled over the edge like his sister and he looked behind him just in time to see a cruel smirk spread across his face right before he rammed into Lucas's back and sent him falling into the anthill. Lucas screamed as the wind blew into his face causing his hair to shoot up straight as he went deeper into the anthill and entered the same chamber Tiffany had entered, where a ant with a silk shooter saw the falling human and shot him in the rear with a silk strand which stopped his fall like a bungee cored and was flung into the air breaking the silk strand.
On a moss covered rock the a ant was trying to comfort his caterpillar after having a frightening encounter with Tiffany.
"It's ok girl, the bad human monster is gone. There's nothing to worry about." Said the ant.
Lucas then landed in front of the caterpillar and began screaming making both the caterpillar and the ant scream.
"Another one?! Are we being invaded?!" Cried the ant in fear.
Lucas was shot in the rear with a silk strand and yanked into the air again, where he was tossed about by ants hitting him in the front and rear multiple times giving Lucas a makeshift loincloth. He was then tossed onto a line of ants where he was passed down and dropped into the same chamber as Tiffany. Lucas groaned as he laid on the ground and then he looked up in surprise to see his sister.
"Lucas?" Said Tiffany.
"Tiffany?" Said Lucas.
"Did the ants shrink you too?" Asked Tiffany.
"They did." Said Lucas.
"What do you think they're going to do with us?" Asked Tiffany.
"No idea." Said Lucas.
Before they could say or do anything some ants grabbed the two siblings into a official looking chamber. The ants looked disgusted and disturbed by this discovery as another two ants grabbed Tiffany and dragged her into a official looking chamber. The Ant Council sat behind a rock table and Zoc stood by the side smirking at Lucas and Tiffany. The chamber was filled with ants and behind the Council table were some butterfly wing curtains. The Head of the Council banged a gavel and everything became quiet. The Head of the Council then spoke.
"Humans state your names and your gender."
"My...name is Tiffany and...I'm a girl." Said Tiffany looking nervous.
"And...my name is Lucas...and I'm a boy." Said Lucas.
"We're siblings." Said Tiffany.
"Tiffany and Lucas you are being tried for many crimes against the colony. You have repeatedly destroyed our home, injured and killed many ants, damaged our food supply. Lucas has also done more damage and harm by flooding our home. For these crimes you have been found guilty. Now all that remains is what to do with you two." Said the Head of the Council.
"You did what?!" Said Tiffany looking at her brother.
"I poured a big bucket of water on the anthill." Said Lucas.
"You're honor can we be tried separately and given different punishments? It sounded like my brother did worse things then I did." Said Tiffany.
"What?!" Said Lucas in disbelief.
"No you may not be tried separately and you will face the same punishment." Said the Head of the Council.
"Wait! We didn't know ants had families or trials! We're just a dumb kid!" Cried Tiffany.
"Yeah how we we're suppose to know dumb ants had that kind of stuff!" Said Lucas.
Tiffany elbowed Lucas in the gut to tell him not to speak.
"Please let me and my brother go! I promise we won't ever bother you again!" Begged Tiffany.
"I say we eat her!" Yelled one ant.
"You don't want to eat us, we taste terrible!" Cried Lucas.
"Hey, we are not savages. These humans needs to be studied and dissected, then we will eat them." Said Zoc.
"I can get you lots of food if you let us go!" Said Tiffany desperate to win the ants over.
"Lots and lots of food!" Added Lucas.
"Enough! The Queen will decide the human's fate." Said the Head of the Council.
The butterfly curtains drew back to reveal a enormous ant with wings that towered over everyone else.
"Good evening my children. I see we have a very unusual guests among us. Two who have done many wrongs to our colony and now we must chose what is to become of them. These humans say they are children and we can destroy them and preserve our colony and our way of life or we can show them mercy and give them an opportunity to learn and give ourselves some allies and a brighter future. I choose mercy." Said the Queen.
Tiffany and Lucas both let out a little sigh of relief.
"The humans will remain with, us until they learns our ways and becomes an ants." Said the Queen.
"WHAT?!" Said both Tiffany, Lucas, and Zoc.
"Your highness, surly you can't be serious." Said Zoc.
"I am." Said the Queen.
"But who would teach the human our ways?" Asked Zoc.
"I will." Said Hova stepping out from the crowd.
"Hova." Said Zoc looking stunned.
"Then it is settled. Now go rest my children." Said the Queen as the curtains closed.
The ants began to leave the chamber.
"Wait you can't do this! This is inhuman!" Cried Tiffany to the Council.
"Yeah!" Agreed Lucas.
"It is." Agreed the head of the Council with a smirk before walking away.
Tiffany and Lucas just stood there stunned as they realized they were prisoners of the ants. Some ants escorted the two to another chamber with leaves and other junk in it. Tiffany looked at her brother and then picked up a tiny piece of dirt and threw it at him making Lucas yelp in surprise.
"What was that for?!" Yelled Lucas.
"You're the one who got us into this mess! You just had to be a jerk and pour that bucket of water an the ants!" Yelled Tiffany.
"How was I supposed to know that ants could shrink us? And why blame me for this? You bullied them too!" Yelled Lucas.
"Yeah, but you took things a step to far and got them mad! Now we're trapped here and will never see mom, dad, or grandma again! We're going to be stuck at this size in this anthill and no one is every going to find us or figure out what happened to us! Our lives are basically over!" Yelled Tiffany with tears in her eyes.
"Don't say that. We...can figure this out. Just go figure out how to be ants, whatever that means." Said Lucas.
"I don't want to talk to you anymore." Growled Tiffany before storming off to one side of the chamber.
Tiffany sat down with her back facing Lucas, curled up, and went to sleep. Lucas let out a sigh as he laid down feeling both mad and sad. Both twins wondered what was going to happen to them and if they were ever going to return to their normal sizes and home.
To be continued.
