Hello and welcome to another installment of KHRWBY. Or more specifically, welcome to the first chapter of the Rose Queendom arc! As I said before, I'm excited about this arc. I actually wanted to make an opening for this arc, but it didn't work out. Instead, I have a concept description to basically sum up this arc. Just to give you all an idea of what to expect going forward. I've planned this arc out and I'm expecting 8 chapters or less for this arc. Then it's time for volume three and the beginning of where things shift from the RWBYverse to the KHverse.

Before I forget, a guest commented on which version of Sonic I'm using for my fic. After leaving a very informative lore drop. First; Thanks for the history lesson. Not being sarcastic by the way. Second; This version of Sonic is from the Smash games. As stated, Sonic was someone I wanted in this fic. I wasn't really focused on which version of him to use. When I settled on Sonic being a Summon, his smash counterparts Final Smash made the ideal Finish attack. I'm a fan of Sonic too. Granted I never paid attention to early Sonic. My first Sonic experience was when my cousin had a game for the Dreamcast I think. After that, I played around with some of the games from Sonic Adventure 2 to current and watched Sonic X.

Now, let's get to it.

Arc Image: In a black void, Sapphire is strung up like a puppet by thorns. The smirking faces of Maleficent and Salem on either side of her. Below are various Dream Eater Nightmares being led by four silhouettes. Team RWBY stands against the opposition.

(Flashback)

When one loses their heart to darkness or to the Heartless, they become a Heartless themselves. The body and soul that is left behind becomes a Nobody, a being that teeters between light and darkness.

But what happens if a persons Heartless and Nobody are destroyed? The answer? Recompletion. The person is reborn whole again. Such is the case with Xehanort. Or rather Master Xehanort. A Keyblade Master who fell to darkness and is the cause of much suffering.

Years ago, three youths, Ventus, Terra and Aqua, were training to become Keyblade Masters under the guidance of their master, Eraqus. However, Xehanort was pulling the strings from behind the scenes. All for his goals of discovering the secrets of the Keyblade War, gaining the X-blade and acquiring the true Kingdom Hearts.

In the end, Eraqus was slain, Ventus' heart was lost, Terra became Xehanorts new vessel and Aqua fell into the Realm of Darkness.

With the defeat of Ansem and Xemnas, Xehanorts return was imminent. To prepare for the dark Keyblade master, Yen Sid summoned Sora, Riku and Sapphire for one reason. To take the Mark of Mastery. A test for those strong of heart that have been chosen by the Keyblade to become Keyblade Masters.

While Sora figured he was unbeatable, Riku and Sapphire had their doubts. Riku wasn't sure if he was worthy to become a Master because of his ties to the darkness and felt he needed to be tested. Sapphire on the other hand felt that it was too big a responsibility and that she wasn't ready. Before she left Remnant, all Sapph had to worry about was training to become a Huntress. Being a Keyblade wielder, let alone a Master, is a huge step up.

With her friends encouragement, Sapphire went along with the exam. The three were tasked to travel the World of Sleep and awaken seven worlds which remained submerged in sleep following Ansem's defeat. But when the test officially began, something went wrong. Sapph was completely separated from Sora and Riku and had to complete her test... alone.

Que Beyond Selves by Void_Chords

Ruby opens her eyes to find that she's free-falling through some sort of pathway. She then looks around to see Weiss, Blake and Yang coming to and free-falling along with her. All around them seemed to be frames featuring Sapphire.

"Guys?" Ruby asks.

"Where are we?" Weiss asks while looking around.

"Is this Sapphs Dive?" Yang asks.

Ruby looks around in confusion. Her team was with her but to her it seemed like someone was missing. But before she could say anything about that, Blake takes notice of something and points to it.

"Hey, look at that." Blake says.

Blake, along with her team, notice the many frames floating about. One in particular depicts a young Sapphire watching a cloaked figure vanish in a dark corridor at her mothers grave. Much to Ruby and Yangs shock.

"A member of the Organization was at mom's grave?!" Yang asks.

Weiss notices another frame that features Sapph shaking hands with Sora, Donald and Goofy at Traverse Town.

"That one looks like when Sapphire first met Sora, Donald and Goofy." Weiss says. "Where her journey began."

Ruby looks at the frames. "Then all these... are her memories?"

Yang then notices something in the distance. "Hey guys?"

Ruby, Weiss and Blake follow Yangs gaze. In the distance, the girls can barley make out Sapphires Station of Awakening. However, it was mostly covered in a black fog. Seeing this brought a sad frown to Rubys face. Her sadness doesn't last long however, as she see something else.

A swarm of creatures that look like a cross between a butterfly and a bee. They're short, stubby, have a simplified color scheme and could be mistaken for owls with a drill-like stinger and a plump abdomen. Another thing to notice is that these creatures didn't look friendly.

Upon seeing the creatures, team RWBY summon their Keyblades.

"Are those Dream Eaters?" Blake asks.

"They're definitely not Grimm." Weiss says.

Ruby looks ahead and notices a large glowing ring. Above it is a notice that reads "Defeat 100 Buzzerflies".

"We have to defeat 100 of these things to open the path!" Ruby says.

"Then let's get to it!" Yang says.

Team RWBY descends into battle. The Buzzerflies didn't offer much of a challenge to the four Keybladers. The only trick was fighting the creatures while airborne. Though, the girls quickly realized they could slow their speed by breaking.

The Keybladers had taken down nearly all of the Buzzerflies when Weiss had unintentionally grabbed a strange orb. The white-haired girl could feel magic coursing through her. Instinctively, Weiss pointed her Keyblade at the remaining Dream Eaters.

"Mega Flare!" Weiss exclaims.

Weiss launches a deadly fireball that triggers a blast! Incinerating the remaining Buzzerflies. Much to her teammates shock.

"Weiss, how'd you do that?!" Ruby asks wide eyed.

"I-I don't know." Weiss says dumbfoundedly. "...I think it was that orb I grabbed. I recall Sapphire mentioning fire spells higher than Firaga, but she said they take a large amount of magic to use."

"So, that orb gave you a boost?" Yang asks.

Weiss nods. "I think so."

"Either way, that blast cleared the way for us." Blake says.

Team RWBY looks forward as the gold ring shines brightly. The girls approach the gate and pass through it. A bright light blinds them but the girls press on. One thought in their minds.

"Hang on, Sapph." Ruby thinks in determination. "We're coming to save you!"

(Flashback)

Earlier today, Ruby was the first to find her twin sister unconscious in her dorms hallway. Seeing the thorn-like markings littering Sapphires body made the brunette-red haired girl fearful. Soon after, Weiss, Blake and Yang happened upon the scene with Rhexia and team JNPR following a moment later.

Upon realizing that Sapphire wasn't waking up, Yang quickly grabbed her brunette-blue sister and rushed to the infirmary. Ruby went to alert professor Ozpin while everyone else followed Yang. Rhexia had taken the time to call Yen Sid and explain the situation. Once the headmaster heard about the thorn markings on Sapphires body, his eyes widened in recognition before following Ruby to the infirmary along with Glynda.

Which lead the group to now. Sapphire lying in bed. So still, one would think she wasn't breathing. Now that he had seen it for himself, Ozpin knew what was happening to his student/assistant teacher. He just wished it wasn't the case.

"A Nightmare?" Blake asks.

"Creatures of Grimm that can possess people and drain their Aura by infesting their dreams." Ozpin says. He then gestures to Sapphire. "The thorn-like markings on ones body are how to identify their victims."

"So, a Grimm did this?" Weiss asks.

"It's not just a Grimm." Ruby says.

Everyone turns to Ruby who hasn't taken her eyes off her twin.

"What do you mean?" Weiss asks.

Ruby continues staring at Sapphire. To her, the brunette redhead sees a light shining around Sapphire. But there was also a black fog covering the bluenette that looks to originate from her neck. The fog also seems to be causing Sapphs light to dim.

"There's a black fog covering Sapph." Ruby says. "It's giving me the same feeling I get when we fight the Heartless."

"Darkness?" Rhexia asks.

"But how'd yooou... right, magic eyes." Nora trails off before shrugging.

"This doesn't make any sense." Ren says with a frown. "Grimm are already creatures of darkness. So, why would the Heartless be involved?"

"Unless it's some kind of Grimm-Heartless." Nora says offhandedly.

Teams RWBY, J(N)PR, Rhexia and the two professors pause before slowly turning their heads to Nora. The excitable ginger notices their stares.

"What?" Nora says in confusion.

After a moment more of staring, the other occupants of the infirmary turn back to Sapphire.

"A fusion between Grimm and Heartless?" Pyrrha asks.

"Scary thought." Weiss says.

Glynda glances at Ozpin.

"Sir, you don't think...?" Glynda whispers.

Ozpin says nothing as he narrows his eyes in thought.

"Who cares about that?" Yang says impatiently. "How do we save Sapph?!"

"I have a colleague who specializes in hunting Nightmares." Ozpin says. His expression suddenly becomes solemn. "I've already informed them, but there's no telling when they'll get here before..."

Hearing the grim tone in Ozpins voice causes the two teams to worry.

"Before what?" Ruby asks

Ozpin closes his eyes without a word. His expression etched in concern. Seeing this, Glynda takes over the conversation.

"A Nightmare possess it's victim and locks them in an eternal dream created by their trauma." Glynda says. "They feed off their victims Aura and grow. The only way to save their victims is for people close to them to enter their dream and kill the Grimm. If the Nightmare isn't stopped in time..."

Ozpin opens his eyes with a grimace. "Then the victims body becomes a breeding ground for the Nightmare. Draining their Aura until there's nothing left."

A look of horror dawns on Rubys face. "You mean...?"

Glynda looks away with a frown. All but confirming Rubys assumption. But it wasn't needed. Ozpins silence said it all. A silence that carried over to everyone else in the room. All but one.

"No." Yang says while shaking her head in denial. Yang begins to tear up. "No no NO! There has to be something we can do! W-we just got her back!"

Ruby hugs Yang. Her tears beginning to fall as well. The blonde holds on to her little sister as she chokes a sob. Rhexia, Weiss, Blake and JNPR watch on in sadness.

Three years. Three years since Sapphire vanished from Remnant. She hadn't even been home for a year and now this happens? It would take a miracle to save the young Keyblade Master.

...Or a giant glowing portal that just so happened to appear out of nowhere! Much to everyone's alarm. Ozpin and Glynda quickly overcome their shock and move in front of their students. Their weapons at the ready. A small figure can be seen moving forward from inside the portal.

Rhexia looks closely at the figure in the portal. It's faint, but she could make an outline of the person walking towards them. A familiar outline. The former Nobody then moves forward.

"Hold on!" Rhexia says. "It's okay!"

Everyone glances at Rhexia in confusion. Said persons eyes light up as the figure exits the portal.

"Gosh, I hope I'm not too late."

As the portal closes, many were shocked to see who had just arrived. A short anthropomorphic mouse with big round ears wearing a black, unzipped hooded jacket with short sleeves, silver buttons and a checkered pattern at the hem. Underneath, he wears a grey shirt with a V-neck. He also wears red cropped trousers that are hemmed with the same checkered pattern as the jacket and yellow and grey shoes.

While teams RWBY and JNPR hadn't met the mouse personally, they had seen enough of Sapphires pictures of him. After all, he is...

"King Mickey?!" Teams RWBY and JNPR exclaim.

Indeed, it was Mickey Mouse. The king of Disney Castle, a Keyblade Master and a friend to many.

Just before Mickey was about to speak, he is suddenly tackled into a hug by Ruby with a cheerful squeal.

"Oh my gosh!" Ruby says while cuddling the mouse king. "King Mickey! He's even more adorable in person!"

"Ruby!" Weiss exclaims "KING Mickey? Let him go!"

Ruby pauses for a moment before quickly dropping Mickey and moves several spaces away from him before bowing rapidly. The king in question looks a little dazed.

"Imsosorry, YourMajesty!" Ruby says in a rush.

Mickey shakes his head to get rid of his dizziness. He then smiles at Ruby.

"Well, that's one way to say hi." Mickey says. "Nice to meet 'cha, Ruby."

Ruby blinks in confusion. "You know my name?"

Mickey nods. "Yep. Sapph told me all about you."

Mickey turns to the others in the room.

"She told me about you guys too." Mickey says. "As far as I'm concerned, any pal of Sapphs is a friend of mine."

Jaune gushes. "We just got props from a real king!"

Pyrrha affectionately pats Jaunes back with a smile. Ren nods in gratitude while Nora stares at Mickey questionably.

"Are we just gonna ignore that he's a walking talking mouse?" Nora asks bluntly.

Nora's comment earns her a nudge in the stomach. Courtesy of Ren's elbow.

"Anyway, glad you could make it, Mickey." Rhexia says.

"Aw shucks, Rhexia." Mickey says. "After everything you and Sapph have done, of course I'd help ya out."

Mickey's attention drifts to Sapphire. Upon seeing the bluenette, the king frowns in concern.

"But you only told me Sapph was in trouble." Mickey says. "What happened to her?"

Ozpin steps forward. "I'd be happy to fill you in, Your Majesty."

It took some time, but Ozpin was able to bring Mickey up to speed on Sapphires current condition.

"So, Sapphs been infected with this Nightmare Grimm?" Mickey asks. "And the Heartless are responsible somehow?"

"That's what my eyes are telling me." Ruby says. "Sapphs been teaching me how to see light and darkness like she can." Ruby looks at Sapphire. "There's darkness covering her, but it's not her darkness. Sapphs light is fighting it... but it's losing."

"The Nightmare is feeding on her Aura." Ozpin says. "If it's not removed, Miss Sapphires Aura will run dry. ...And then she'll..."

"That's not gonna happen." Mickey says firmly.

"Is there any way you can help, Your Majesty?" Pyrrha asks.

"Professor Ozpin said that the only way to save her would be to kill the Nightmare in Sapphires dream." Ren says. "But we have no way of doing that."

"First; we're all pals here, so call me Mickey." Mickey says. "Second; there is a way to enter Sapphs dream. Thanks to our Keyblades."

Rhexia folds her arms in thought for a moment before gasping in realization.

"The Power of Waking!" Rhexia exclaims.

Everyone, baring team RWBY whose eyes widen in recognition, looks at Rhexia and Mickey in confusion.

Mickey nods. "Right."

Nora huffs. "Okay, are we just making up words now?"

"What is the Power of Waking?" Pyrrha asks.

"It's the power to wake up a sleeping heart." Mickey says. "With it, I can make a portal into Sapphs dream and defeat the Nightmare

"Then what are we standing around for?!" Yang asks while pumping her fists. "Let's go wake up Sapph!"

Ruby, Weiss and Blake nod in agreement. However, Mickey frowns.

"Sorry, but I'm the only one who can use it." Mickey says. "It's something Keyblade Masters can do. Sapph can use it. So can Riku. But he's on a mission for Yen Sid to find Sora."

Rhexia gasps. "You mean you know where he is!?"

"We have a lead." Mickey says. "I'll fill you in later. Point is, I'm the only here can use the Power of Waking."

"With all due respect, Your Majesty, you need us." Weiss says.

"She's right." Blake says. "You've never fought a Grimm before. We've been trained to fight them."

"And we're Keyblade wielders too." Yang says.

"Please, Mickey?" Ruby asks. "Sapphs not just our Keyblade Master. She's our friend. Our sister."

Mickey looks at team RWBY. Seeing the determination in their faces. It is then the King is reminded of the time Sapphire, Sora, Donald and Goofy defied his order to leave Hollow Bastion during the Heartless siege. The four of them were determined to stay and help their friends. No matter the danger. Something that's happened multiple times with those four. Looking at the girls, Mickey knew. Their doing what their hearts command.

Mickey folds his arms, closes his eyes and sighs. After a moment, the King smiles and opens his eyes.

"Well, like Yang said." Mickey says. "What are we still standing around for?"

Team RWBY smiles and nods their heads.

"Still, it's possible that we'll have to deal with Dream Eaters too." Mickey says. "Not just the Grimm."

"Dream Eaters?" Blake asks.

"Aren't they those creatures Sapph said exist in the Sleeping Worlds?" Ruby asks.

"Right." Mickey says. "If this Grimm has Sapph trapped in a dream world, then it's likely that Dream Eaters will be there too. Just be ready and stay close to me."

Team RWBY nods in determination. Jaune walks up to Ruby and holds out his hand.

"Bring Sapph back to us." Jaune says.

Ruby shakes Jaunes hand. "Right."

"Good luck, team RWBY." Ozpin says.

Ruby nods before turning her attention to Mickey. "We're ready, Mickey."

Mickey nods before summoning his Keyblade. In a flash of stars, Star Cluster appears.

"For this to work, you all have to be in contact with me." Mickey says. "I'll send you in first and be right behind ya."

Team RWBY nods. Ruby crouches down and puts her hand on Mickeys shoulder with Yang doing the same. Weiss and Blake follow their lead with them putting their hands on their respective partners.

Mickey points his Keyblade at Sapphire and he, along with team RWBY start giving a pink glow. Sapphire begins to glow as well as a large crystal like orb appears in front of the group. A portal to Sapphs heart. However, something was ominous with the portal. It was black and clouds of the same color can be seen within it. Not only that, but there were thorns ensnaring it as well.

Team JNPR give their sister team various forms of encouragement with their professors nodding. Mickey then focuses on the portal and one by one, team RWBY turn into light particles before traveling inside the portal. With team RWBY inside, the King prepares to follow after them. Suddenly, Mickey sees a vision of a woman with red eyes and black sclera glaring at him. Before he can question who the woman is, she seemingly sends a pulse that throws the mouse king at the wall behind him! His keyblade disappearing on impact.

"Your Majesty!" Jaune exclaims in shock.

Rhexia and Team JNPR rushes to Mickey with Nora helping stand up.

"Are you alright?!" Pyrrha asks.

"What happened?!" Rhexia asks

Mickey puts his hand to his head and shakes it with a groan.

"I... I don't know." Mickey says in a daze. "I was about to follow the girls in but... It felt like... someone was watching me. Whoever it was... stopped me from entering Sapphs portal."

Rhexia, Mickey, JNPR and the professors look towards the portal and see the thorns around it pulsing with a red glow. The markings on Sapphire reacting similarly. Seeing this, Ozpin narrows his eyes. His suspicions confirmed.

"So, you ARE behind this." Ozpin thinks. "Just what are you plotting... Salem?"

(Flashback ends)

Ruby wakes up to find herself in a barren wasteland. Strangely enough, there looked to be a few blades sticking out of the ground.

"Where...?" Ruby asks.

Ruby trails off as a harsh wind blows. Dust kicking up along with it. The red-brunette looks towards the direction of the wind and is shocked to see a large city with a castle floating above it up ahead. But what gave Ruby pause was the heart shaped, blood red moon glowing amongst the dark clouds.

{Play Kingdom Hearts 3D OST: Sacred Distance}

The screen suddenly dims as a side silhouette of Sapphire holding a blue rose in her hands appears. Suddenly, multiple thorns sprout from the rose and spread throughout the screen. The words Dreams That Never Were are formed by the thorns in big bold letters as a castle appears. A blood red, heart shaped moon then fades in behind the castle.

The screen returns to normal as Ruby looks down and notices her clothes have changed.

Ruby wears an outfit that consists of a black short sleeved jacket with red lining and her signature hooded cloak fastened to her shoulders. Her sleeves are red with white lines separating them from the black edging. Her red shirt bears the Spirit Dream Eater sigil on the front. She also wears her Wayfinder around her neck. She has red gloves with a white strap. Ruby wears a black skirt with red lining, red tights, a red belt with her silver rose buckle and black combat boots with red straps and soles.

"Whoa." Ruby says in awe.

Suddenly, Weiss, Blake and Yang appear in a flash of light. The girls eyes closed. Much like herself, Rubys teammates gained a wardrobe change as well.

Weiss' hair was secured in a metal snowflake hair clip with red, blue and green jewels on the edges. Her attire consists of a blue strapless mini-dress made up of three zippers (two appear to be just decorative) with a white hood as well as a white halter top underneath her mini-dress. Her mini-dress has the Spirit Dream Eater sigl on the back. She also sports three bracelets on her left wrist, a black belt reminiscent of suspenders with a note book shaped bag attachment that bears her snowflake emblem and white heeled boots.

Weiss also wears teardrop earrings, pink lipstick and her Wayfinder hangs around her neck.

Blakes cat ears were on full display. Her attire consists of a white, black-trimmed zip-up vest with purple lining on the sides and a black high collar. Her emblem is located on the left side of her vest. Right above her heart. The Spirit Dream Eater sigil is emblazoned on the back of the vest. She also wears a black wristband on her right arm and her black bow is tied around her left bicep with the ends flowing freely.

Blake wears black, skintight leather pants, a white belt that hangs off center around her waist with a purple cat buckle and black boots with gold lining. She accessorizes with gold piercings on her cat ears and her Wayfinder which hangs around her neck.

Yangs outfit consists of a short, sleeveless beige jacket which is usually unzipped. The Spirit Dream Eater sigil is emblazoned on the left shoulder of the jacket. Six buttons can be seen on the front. Underneath, Yang wears a yellow tank top with a V-neck style collar and her emblem on the front. She wears gauntlets with a similar color scheme to her jacket. The gauntlets have gold buckled straps wrapped around Yang's wrists and the palms of her hands are exposed.

Yang wears beige shorts that cover just below her knees with several pockets. She also wears lavender colored socks with the right one being longer than the left, beige boots with gold laces, a pair of Motorcycle goggles on her forehead and her Wayfinder hanging around her neck.

Weiss, Blake and Yang open their eyes and take in each others new looks.

"You really do look better without the bow, Blakey." Yang says with a grin.

Blake blushes as she pats her cat ears in embarrassment.

Weiss notices Ruby and walks towards her. Blake and Yang follow shortly after. The girls then look towards the city in front of them.

"Is that Sapphs dream world?" Yang asks.

"Looks kinda dark." Blake says. "Not what I expected given how upbeat Sapphire usually is."

Weiss then notices something was missing. Or rather, someone.

"Where's the King?" Weiss asks.

Ruby, Blake and Yang take notices of the mouse kings absence.

"Yeah, I was gonna mention that before we went through the Dive." Ruby says.

"Do you think something happen to him?" Blake asks.

"Maybe we got separated." Yang says. "Maybe he's already in that city."

Ruby looks at the heart shaped moon. Just seeing it makes the red-brunette uneasy. She then looks towards the castle. Getting a weird feeling from it. Like something was drawing Ruby to it. She then points at the castle.

"Sapphs in there." Ruby says. "I know it."

"How can you be sure?" Weiss asks.

"It's a twin thing." Yang says. "When we were kids, Ruby would always have these weird moments when she was either really happy or sad for some reason. Now we know that it was Sapph when she was on her adventures."

Blake glances at the wasteland. "Well, it's not like we anywhere else to go."

Ruby, Weiss and Yang nod in determination. The girls then make their way to the city.

After a while, team RWBY made it into the city with no problems. The girls were careful as they took in their surroundings. So far, it's been a long series of winding streets.

The team had passed an alley that had some strange green circle on the ground. Upon stepping on it, Blake realized it was some kind of waypoint. The cat Faunus figured there would probably be other waypoints going forward and that the one in the alley would do for a good hiding spot. Just in case they needed to make a quick getaway.

Sometime later, team RWBY arrive at what looks like a giant skyscraper.

"Something weird." Blake says.

"What do you mean?" Yang asks.

"It's been way to easy getting this far." Blake says.

Weiss folds her arms in thought. "I'm with Blake. You'd think we would've ran into some resistance by now."

"We haven't found the Nightmare or run into any Dream Eaters yet." Blake says. "Either it doesn't know we're here yet or..."

Suddenly, in purple flashes, a group of Nightmare Dream Eaters appear!

{Switch OST to Kingdom Hearts 3D OST: Deep Drop}

Team RWBY soon find themselves surrounded by the Nightmares known as Majik Lapin, Drak Quack and two Cera Terrors. Leading them was a Keeba Tiger Nightmare.

"...a surprise attack." Blake deadpans.

Team RWBY summon their Keyblades before getting to work.

It turns out, fighting the Dream Eaters was like fighting the Heartless for team RWBY. The Majik Lapins would block the girls physical attacks before countering and the Drak Quacks would attack from a distance. But thanks to their training, both fighting Heartless and Grimm, team RWBY was able to get pass them.

The Cera Terrors on the other hand were a bit tricky. The two dino Nightmares would attack aggressively before trying to flatten the girls the next minute. Weiss was quick to notice that ranged magic attacks were the Cera Terrors weakness.

While the other Dream Eaters attacked, the Keeba Tiger was simply observing the four girls. Like a predator stalking it's prey. Once most of the Dream Eaters were defeated, the tiger Nightmare pounced before swiping at RWBY with it's claws. It also had powerful lunging attacks. One in particular caught Ruby off guard and sent flying towards a wall! However, the red-brunette was suddenly covered by a pink aura as she landed, feet first, on the wall. Ruby then kicks off the wall and lands a spinning corkscrew on the Keeba Tiger before slamming her Keyblade on the ground. Generating shockwaves that take the Nightmare down.

With all of their enemies defeated, team RWBY regroups after desummoning their Keyblades. The pink aura that once enveloped Ruby vanishes as the girl in question looks at her hands in awe.

"Ruby, what was that?" Yang asks.

Ruby shakes her head. "I don't know."

Weiss and Blake flod their arms in thought.

"Hmm." Weiss hums. "Actually, I think I might have seen Sapphire do something similar once."

"Right." Blake says with a nod. "I think she called it Flowmotion. It's an ability she gained during her Master Exam."

"That's awesome, Rubes!" Yang says. "And hey, maybe we can use it too!"

"I just wish I knew how I did it." Ruby says. She then shakes her head before turning towards the castle. "Anyway, let's head for the castle."

Weiss, Blake and Yang nod in agreement. The girls then start walking towards the direction of the castle. However, as they walk Blake senses something. Before anyone can react, a dome of Glyphs surround the girls! A yellow Glyph then appears under them and the girls are suddenly electrocuted! Causing the huntresses to scream in pain!

"W-Weiss!" Yang exclaims. "What are you doing?!"

"I-It's not me!" Weiss exclaims.

After a few more seconds, the shocks stop and team RWBY collapses on the ground. As the girls try to shake off their sudden electrocution, they suddenly hear footsteps approaching.

"It appears we have intruders." A familiar female voice says coldly.

"Seriously?" An equally familiar voice says with a scoff. "Our forces must be slacking. Or just plain weak."

"They're stupid if they think they can invade our kingdom." A female voice says harshly.

"Orders are clear." A young female voice says stoically. "All threats to Her Majesty's kingdom are to be eliminated."

As the female figures walk towards team RWBY, the huntresses themselves are shocked by their voices. And even more so by their appearances. Because standing in front of team RWBY... was themselves!

Ruby's look-alike looks identical to her but has her hair shoulder-length hair and tied back in a half-up/half-down style. Her eyes are a pale silver and she has purple tattoos like upside-down triangles under her eyes.

The Ruby doubles outfit consists of an outfit similar to the original Ruby but mostly black with studded wristbands on her arms. She also wears Grimm armored shoulder pads, chest plate, knee pads and a cloak like the real Ruby but with tattered ends.

Weiss' look-alike looks like the real Weiss, except she lacks a scar on her left eye, wears her ponytail center and has paler skin.

Weiss' double wears an Atlas Military uniform that consist of a skin-fitted short sleeveless white dress that fastens on the right side, with a hexagonal cut out on the bust alongside several black straps. She has a white short cape that is attached to the dress. She also wears a grey mesh top underneath that has a black snowflake styled design visible through the dress' cutout and the mesh sleeves are mostly covered with white sleeves that had a black strap on the trim. She also sports a flowing white trench coat cape decorated with various black thorn-like and snowflake designs which is draped over her shoulders, light gray tights and white high-heel pumps. In addition, she carries sky blue sunglasses and wears a white kepi with black visor on her head.

Blakes double has purple hair backing and wears an outfit similar to her ex-partner, Adam Taurus. It consists of a single red vine design with white three leaf flower on the left shoulder of a black long sleeved jacket that has dark red lined twin tails. She wears a dark red wrapped top under the jacket alongside black hot pants, humanoid paws with black fur and claws as well as black furred cat tail. She sports thigh length black stockings that have thick black fur cuffs around the ankles, and red heels and metal pieces that form three claw like pieces. In addition, she wears a Grimm mask with more detail in red markings and four slits for vision.

Yangs double looks nearly identical to the real Yang except that her hair is black with yellow tips and her eyes are permanently red.

The blonde doubles outfit is similar to Yangs mother, Raven Branwen. It consists of a V neck black and red kimono top with a black pleated skirt that has black shorts underneath and a series of beaded necklaces. She also wears a red obi sash around her waist alongside a red tassel wrapped around her waist. Attached to it is a long black object that is either fur or feathers, with a lavender bandana material like hanging from behind her. On her right arm, Yangs double wears a yellow and black armored gauntlet with claw-like fingers while retaining her originals black fingerless glove for her left arm. She also wears black mid-thigh high boots, that have armor plating with red splatter patterns and black heels.

"What... the hell?" Yang asks in confusion.

The RWBY look-alikes simply observe their originals.

"Four intruders that look similar to us." Weiss? says. "It's just like Her Majesty said."

Yang? scoffs. "A bunch of wannabes."

"Disgusting." Blake? sneers.

"What is this?" Blake asks.

"They... look like us." Ruby says.

Ruby? glances at her partner. "We're to notify Her once the intruders showed themselves."

"Don't see why." Yang? says with a hand on her hip. "We can handle these weaklings."

Weiss? pulls out a book and opens it. "Your Majesty, we've apprehended the intruders. Awaiting your judgment."

No sooner than Weiss? puts her book away, a corridor of darkness appears! The duplicate team RWBY kneels as a figure walks out of the portal. Said figure wears a feminine version of Organization XIII coat. Though it is tinted blue with black thorn-like patterns.

The uniform consists of a single leather hooded coat with slightly pointed shoulders and close-fitting sleeves. It is plainly adorned with a silver zipper that stops right above her chest and seemingly pointless silver beaded pull strings for the hood that form a semi-circle in the middle. She also wears tights and a more feminized version of the knee-high silver trimmed boots with heels in addition to the short leather gloves that end at her wrists.

"Organization XIII?!" Weiss exclaims in shock.

"What's one of those guys doing in Sapphs dream?!" Yang asks.

The Organization member stays silent as she seems to observes team RWBY. After a moment, the figure speaks.

"How odd." The figure says with a familiar voice. "Four intruders resembling my royal guard?"

Team RWBY is shocked by the figures voice. Said figure then lowers her hood. Shocking RWBY even more. Pale skinned, silver hair with blue tips and yellow eyes. But her face was...

"Sapphire?!" Yang exclaims.

Sapphire? says nothing as she silently and stoically stares as team RWBY. Her gaze boring into each one of them. When the silver-bluenettes locks eyes with Ruby, the silver eyed girl is hit with a strange feeling. But underneath that feeling is another emotion. Fear. Sapphire? strangely winces but it's so quick that no one else notices.

"How unsightly." Sapphire? says. "You thought you could infiltrate my kingdom by impersonating my guards?"

"Sapph, what are you doing?" Yang asks.

"We're here to rescue you!" Blake says.

"Obviously, you're here to disrupt the balance of my kingdom." Sapphire? says. "...I've made my judgement."

Sapphire turns around and walks back to the dark corridor. She suddenly stops near Ruby's look-alike and places her hand on the doubles shoulder.

"...Dispose of them, Ruby." Sapphire? says coldly.

Hearing Sapphires? cold words shocks team RWBY to their core. Yang moreso. Once Sapphire? walks into the dark corridor, the portal vanishes.

"...Understood." Ruby? says after a pause.

The duplicate team RWBY summon their weapons.

Ruby's double summons a large axe-like version of Crescent Rose. Weiss' double summons a duplicate Myrtenaster. Blakes double summons Gambol Shroud but her version of the weapon are dual swords which consisted of long and short swords with a black chain attached. Finally, with a somewhat feral grin, Yang's double summons what looks like a gunblade. A long, single-edged, one-handed sword of Japanese design with what looks like Ember Celica as it's handle.

Team RWBY panics as their doubles walk towards them. Before the doubles can strike, a flashbang goes off out of nowhere! Blinding the duplicates! However, the original team RWBY is confused as it looks to them that their doubles are acting odd.

"The hell!?" Yang? exclaims in shock.

"Hurry, grab them!"

At the call of a mysterious voice, Ruby is suddenly lifted away by what feels like vines, Weiss is picked up by her back, Blake is tossed on the back of something furry as is Yang but whatever grabbed feels scaly.

By the time the duplicate RWBY can see again, the original team RWBY have disappeared.

Sometime later, team RWBY is seen recovering in the alley they passed earlier. With them appear to be Dream Eaters but their emblems exposed them as Spirits. A Wheeflower, a Ryu Dragon, a Aura Lion, a Halbird and finally a Pegaslick.

On the Pegaslick is a female figure with a hooded pink cloak. She then gets off the Dream Eater and pets it before turning her attention to the four girls.

"You should be safe now." The figure says.

"Thanks." Ruby says. "But... who are you?"

The figure lowers her hood. revealing a girl who looks to be 17 with shoulder-length pink hair and blue eyes. The girl then gives a kind smile.

"Ava." The girl says. "My name is Ava."

And done! Part 1 of Rose Queendom!

First, I'm sure you can see that Shion didn't make an appearance but was mentioned. I know some of you where expecting to see them, but I honestly didn't see a reason to add them besides the plot for the OG Ice Queendom. Besides, we got Mickey to fill the role!

Now, team RWBY arrive in Sapphires Nightmare world (Dreams That Never Were) with new gear and have their first experience fighting Dream Eaters. With Ruby getting to use Flowmotion for the first time.

For the recored, Ruby's dream outfit is inspired by Sora's DDD outfit, Weiss' outfit is inspired by Kairi's KH2 outfit, Yang's is inspired by Sora's KH3 outfit and Blake's inspired by Riku's DDD outfit.

Moving on, team RWBY is then ambushed by their Negative counterparts, with Nega-Ruby and Nega-Yang being of my own design. Then we meet Nega-Sapphire whose look is inspired by a feminine version of Xemnas' Final Form in KH2. Before Nega-RWBY can eliminate the real tema RWBY, they're saved by Dream Eater Spirits AND AVA?!
