AUTHOR'S NOTE: The next couple of chapters will have a large amount of swearing (Mainly from Bagheera), blood, and violence. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! On another note, from now on, all of the illusions of Class A will have nicknames based on who they're based off of. Shima for Kirishima, and Oji for Ojiro, as a couple examples. I'm hoping you all know which nickname belongs to which characters. I will make a list of all the Class A nicknames at the end of this Chapter. (If I remind myself.)
Once everyone was completely healed from their injuries, they prepared for the war. It's the night before everyone was to split up into their groups and head to their assigned places. Everyone's nerves were on edge, Keralynn's most of all. She felt so much fear welling inside her, that she started to hyperventilate. No one noticed but Reika, Tokoyami, Bakugo, and Koda. He looks at her in worry before he gets up, gently grabs her small hand in his, and leads her to his room. Once they were safely in his room, he turned to her, hugging her tightly. "Breathe Keralynn, breathe. Everything's gonna be alright." He soothed her, putting her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
"I don't know what to do, Koji! I've never been in a fight against real villains before!" She cries in his chest, making her voice muffled.
"I know you're scared, Kitten. We all are, but all of us heroes will beat All for One, I will beat Bagheera and my father. I don't know if all of the heroes will make it back, but I do know that the two of us will, Tokoyami and Takami will, and the rest of Class A and Class B will come home alive." He explains calmly.
"You don't know that for sure, Koji! We will be fighting not only Spinner and the rest of the Heteromorphs, but also Lord Bagheera and your own father! With Lord Bagheera's wind quirk, the birds you control won't be able to help as much as you need them to." She said as her breathing starts to calm down, listening to his heartbeat.
"Skiyes will also be there to help us. Sadly, our first priority is to defeat Spinner before I can go help you and Skiyes with our fathers. Between the two of us, we will stop at nothing to make sure you're safe. In the meantime, despite my better judgement, I want you to work with your brother to fight off Bagheera. I will handle my father on my own. The only way to beat your Illusion of him, is by defeating the real thing first." He looks down at her and smiles before gently hugging her.
A few seconds later, he felt something soft and warm on his lips, but it went away as quickly as it came. "Then you had better stay alive, if you want to be my official boyfriend after this war." She said shyly, not making eye contact with him.
He stares at her in shock, processing what just happened. Once he processed everything, he gently cups her cheek, staring into her tear streaked emerald eyes, smiling. "I think I can manage that, Kitten." He said in a low, loving tone. "Also, not that I mind or anything, but why start calling me by my first name, now of all times?" He asked shyly.
"I-I mean, how else am I going to tell you and your illusion apart in battle. So I decided that from now on, the Illusion will be Koda, and you will be my Koji." She said as she crossed her arms as a slight blush appeared on her cheeks.
He stares at her before he chuckles. "I'd prefer you calling me Koji anyway." He closes his eyes, gently rubbing his face in her soft hair, he says; "After all, I've found my reason to fight the moment I realized that I fell in love with you."
Meanwhile, as Koda was calming Keralynn down, Tokoyami looked towards Reika's room with worry, getting a strong uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach. 'You feel it too don't you, Fumikage? You're afraid that All for One would steal her quirk if she fights alongside us.' He hears Dark Shadow's voice in his mind.
"That will not happen. I'll make sure of it. If we sense that she's in danger, It'll only take a split second for us to be at her side to protect her." He said in a quiet tone.
'We won't let him lay a finger on our Rei Rei! Not while we're alive!' He hears Dark Shadow say.
'You know I can hear you boys, right? I can sense your unease.' Reika's voice was heard from their mind.
'Can you blame us, Rei Rei?! We're about to fight the biggest, baddest villain in history, worse than Shigaraki! And this dingus won't let dad help from the shadows.' They hear Dark Shadow say in worry.
'It's because he wants to prove to Uncle Caron that he doesn't need his help. He doesn't want him to interfere with our world anymore than he already has.' They hear her say.
"But the only times I will allow him to, is if our friends' very lives are in danger." Tokoyami said.
'Sounds about right. No one but Koda, Keralynn, and Keigo know who or what he really is. He wants it to stay that way.' She replied.
'Now that I think about it, It's very possible that All for One knows that you are Hawks' sister and about how your quirk is different from his.' Dark Shadow thought,
"And that's the whole reason why I'm afraid that All for One will possibly steal your quirk! We know that 'Fierce Wings' and 'Spectacle Wings' are mutations of both your biological parents' quirks. With Hawks' 'Fierce Wings', he's able to feel the vibrations in the air, sorta like Echolocation, correct? Not only are you able to do that and make your feathers sharp as blades like him, but also use your own feathers as your eyes in the sky. You have a power that is a part of your quirk that your brother doesn't have!" He explains in a worried tone as he paces around his room, beginning to hyperventilate.
'And with that power, you are at a higher risk of getting your quirk taken. Your quirk is more powerful than your brother's. And that's what he looks for in the quirks that he wants to steal.' Dark Shadow finished.
His eyes widen and his weld up tears start to fall as he feels a pair of soft arms wrap around his upper stomach. He looks over his shoulder as he sees a pair of beautifully preened blue wings and an ocean of wavy red hair behind him. "R-Rei, D-Dove. H-How did you get here?" He asked, breathing heavily.
"Aunt Noel once told me that the whole teleportation thing works both ways, so I knew you were beginning to get a panic attack and wanted to be the first to try it. You haven't had a panic attack for a while." She explained when he turned around. She gently holds his head to hers.
'He hasn't had a reason that would cause an attack until now.' Dark Shadow said before he appeared, gently wrapping around her before hugging her.
"What am I going to do with you two? Always worrying about me for no reason in particular. We should get some sleep. Tomorrow, we will bring the war to All for One." She said as she smiled.
"Not only will we bring the war to him, but we'll win it. No matter the cost." Tokoyami said as he began to calm down, wrapping his arms around her.
The next day, the war began. Everyone but Deku, was warped to their assigned battlefields. Deku was sent to the island where Froppy and Uravity were teamed to fight Toga (thanks to her), when he was supposed to be warped to UA High to fight Shigaraki with Bakugo. Koda, Shoji, Axelander, and Keralynn were warped to the hospital, where they were to fight Spinner and the other Heteromorphs under his lead. Behind them, stood Axelander's father, Bagheera, Koda's father, and all the members of Bagheera's Syndicate. They hear Bagheera begin to laugh. "Axelander! You dare to betray your father and my Syndicate?" He asked.
"Fuck you, father! I never wanted to be in your Syndicate in the first place! Me nor Keralynn! I, no, we are here to stop you! Once and for all!" He told his father.
Keralynn looks at Bagheera with fear in her eyes, her ears pulled back and her tail between her legs, before she feels a large, soft hand grab hers from behind, then the same large hand grab the other from beside her. "Remember what I told you, Kitten. The only way to beat your Illusion of him, is by defeating the real thing first. I know you're afraid, but I know you can do this." She hears Koda say in a quiet tone from behind her.
"We're here to help you. This is the main reason why you created all of us Class A sentients." The illusion of Koda said as he looked at her and smiled then looked towards all of her sentient illusions of various heroes such as Star and Stripe, Hawks, Aizawa, All Might, and Present Mic, as well as Reika, Tokoyami, Jiro, all of Class B, and the rest of Class A, appearing one after the other, ready to fight the root cause of her suffering.
"Dad may have his syndicate bastards backing him up, but you have a whole army of powerful heroes behind you." Axelander said as he bared his claws and fangs at the army in front of him.
"She may have an army of Illusions behind her, son. But does she know how to use them to her advantage? Are they able to use the many quirks the real ones have?" They heard Bagheera say as he walked towards them.
She looks at Bagheera, noticing the Tokoyami illusion rise up from behind him. She closes her eyes, taking a deep breath but also, communicating to her illusions telepathically. "Why don't we find out, Lord Bagheera. NOW, Yami!" She calls out as the illusion behind Bagheera uses Dark Shadow's 'Ragnarok Womb' move, surrounding him in a sphere of darkness. "Keep him there for as long as you can, Yami!" She looks towards the Hawks and Reika illusions as they use their feather swords to fight the syndicate members surrounding them. "Ami, eyes in the sky! We'll need you, Kyo, and Sho on look-out!"
"On it!" The Reika illusion said before she flew farther into the air, releasing some of her feathers around her as a golden eye appeared on each one of them.
Koda glances behind him and smiles as he sees Keralynn's bravery. "Good luck, my Kitten." He said before he let go of her hand, running towards the battlefield alongside Shoji. "Watch over her, Koda!"
"You can count on me, Koji!" He said.
"Nari, Oji, Momozu, Yama, Tsui, You're with me and Koda on defense! Kugo, Roki, Dori, Shima, Zoomie, You're on offense! Ash, Neta, Kure, Chako, Baker, Sticky, watch our flanks! Everyone else, let's take down the syndicate, once and for all!" She ordered all the illusions.
"Keralynn! Why the hell would you have an illusion of the traitor fighting with us?!" Axelander asked in a surprised voice.
"Because the real Aoyama is still our friend, no matter what things he has done wrong. He is fighting alongside us in this war. And we need all the help we can get!" She said as she, Koda, and Nari dodged an attack from a Syndicate member. "Nari! Zap 'em! Tsui, hide!" She calls out as Kaminari's illusion launched a couple disks at the members before electrocuting them, while Asui camouflaged herself to attack one from behind.
Koda's eyes widened as he saw Ami attacking another member from above with her feather sword, but was unaware of the one behind her who had bat wings. "AMI, BEHIND YOU!" He calls out as he picked Keralynn up to dodge another attack.
"Thanks for the heads-up, Koda! You guys alright?" She asks.
"We're fine, for now. Go help Yami." She said as Koda set her down.
"Right!" She said before she flew towards Yami and his Dark Shadow were. The war between Illusions and Syndicate raged for what seemed like hours, when it had only been two.
"Well well, Looks to me like she has been training her quirk to its fullest capacity in such a short time. She has been studying her friends' quirks well. But, how long will she be able to keep control over these… sentients, before they start to disappear? Having all these illusions out at once must be quite taxing on her mental health." They hear Bagheera say as he inspects Dark Shadow's womb.
"What are you talking about, Father?" Axelander asked in a demanding tone.
"Our princess seems to be doing a great job so far keeping control, given how long it's been since they were suppressed. But I have no doubt that she will lose control of them. It will only be a matter of time." Daiskue said with a menacing cheshire cat smile.
"It's all a matter of when, Daisuke." He said.
Axelander attacks Daisuke with his claws. "What did you do to her, Daiskue?!" He growed.
"I was simply following our King's orders. I came here a couple days before him to visit my family. Hearing the news of our sweet princess being in the hospital with a head injury, caused by you no less, was just a plus side. So obviously he just had to take advantage of her situation. So, I went to visit our dear princess in her hospital room. Just to congratulate her on your engagement. Naturally she was scared of me, I understand that she didn't remember me from way back then. To my surprise, one of our own overseas members was her doctor. So he ordered the two of us to give her a drug while she slept, that would suppress, if not completely seal off her quirk." He begins to explain as he dodges attack after attack by both Ami and Axelander.
"So you made it seem like she needed the drug to help in her recovery! Yet you knew full well, that her quirk is what makes her who she is! What is Bagheera so afraid of?" Axelander asked, attacking him. Ami used her feathers to hold Daiskue in place.
"You can see for yourself, Prince Axel. All of the illusions she had summoned today can think and act on their own, without the use of her voice to summon them. As if they are the real things. Has anyone ever asked themselves, how?" Daiskue asked.
"Quit talking as if they're of royal blood, Daisuke the Destroyer! Sure, Bagheera is considered a 'Lord' in the kingdom but that doesn't make him a real lord." Ami said as she tightened her feathers around him.
"It is only a title, given to those with quirks who are able to communicate and work with you humans from the shadows." Yami continued.
Daisuke smiled and looked towards Axelander. "Now, how would a mere newborn illusion know about that?" He asked.
"The syndicate knows much less about us than you realize, Daisuke. You should have thought about studying us more, rather than try sealing us away." Ami said.
They hear Bagheera chuckle from inside the sphere of darkness. "Oh sweet child, we have been studying all about you for a very long time. Why do you think I was the one that always wanted to babysit our dear Keralynn?" He said before he gathered the air around him, now trying to escape.
Yami and Ami's eyes widened. "I can't hold him back much longer, Fumikage!" Dark Shadow said, struggling to keep the sphere in place.
"Shadow. You can let him go. We've dealt with most of his syndicate. The rest of Class A are finishing off the rest. It's just him, and Daisuke now." They hear Keralynn say from behind Axelander. They turn to see her and Koda walking towards them. She had scrapes and bruises on her arms and legs. A large bleeding gash from her right arm dripped as she limped. She holds her head where the nail was removed, leaving a long scar on a bald spot.
"Yo, Kera! What the hell happened to ya?!" Axelander asked as he ran towards her.
"Looks to me like she's had a run in with our resident bomber wolf. He really did a number on her." Daiskue said as he started laughing, before the feathers around him tightened.
"It was more like an ambush. She barely made it out in one piece. If it weren't for Kugo with his counterattack, She might've lost her arm, if not her life. We lost all of Class B and some of the Class A sentients in the blast. She's in a lot of pain, but she's handling it well." Koda said as he kept her balanced.
"We need to get her healed." Axelander said as he tried to take her from Koda. He refused to hand her over. "What are you waiting for, Koda?" He glares at him, still refusing to hand Keralynn over. "Just like the real deal aren't ya."
"I'll be fine, Axel. Don't worry about me. I have Koda by my side to keep me steady. My legs aren't broken y'know." She said before she stood up straight, glaring at Bagheera and Daisuke. "Couldn't kill me 'this time' either, Bagheera."
"Well damn. There goes our first shot, boss." Daiskue said.
"Patience my friend, there will be other chances." Bagheera said.
"'This time'? What do you mean?" Axelander asked in confusion.
"You all thought that I wouldn't have found out about the 'secret' everyone is keeping from me?" She asks.
Bagheera smiles and begins to walk towards them. "I knew that news of your father's murder would reach your furry ears sooner or later, whorelet. How did you manage to find out?" He said. Axelander's eyes widened.
She glares at him before Koda gets in front of her, blocking her from his vision. "I have my ways." She said.
"Could it be-? Was one of your illusions hiding during that night?" Axelander asked.
"Not them and the animals didn't speak about it either." She said.
"Then who was it that talked?!" He asked.
"Well well, could it have been that little shadow creature that inhabits your shadow? That bird man's youngest child?" Daisuke asked.
"Shadow creature? Keralynn, What the hell is going on?" Axelander asked as he looked towards her.
"You mean you don't know? For a few years now she has had a creature living in her shadow, Same goes for your blue winged friend. Our researchers have tried everything to find information on it but to no avail. So far we have only seen its yellow eyes." Bagheera said. "Perhaps our dear princess can shed some light about this creature." He smiles.
"As if I'd ever tell you anything about her." She growled.
"Yet I sense that…- she is with you now. Surely you must know that a battlefield is much too dangerous for a young child." Daiskue said.
"I do, but all of you have forgotten that some of the heroes that are fighting in this war are mere children, me included." She explained.
"Ah yes, the hero wannabes from UA." Bagheera begins to walk around Koda and Keralynn. "The ones you are closest to, they're the illusions that you keep around you at all times, yes? This one in particular, Daiskue's son. What's your connection to the boy?"
Daiskue chuckles. "Apparently my son has fallen in love with her and has challenged us to defend her from marrying our prince. Yet I do not see him here." He said.
"He had a prior engagement to deal with. Which means you'll have to deal with us in the meantime." Koda said with a glare.
"Ah, So I see." He said as he looked towards the battlefield with Spinner and Shoji, noticing Koji fighting off some heteromorphs. "Which means that if you were to disappear, then you would cause the most damage to Keralynn." He said before he caught them by surprise by kicking Axelander away from her, then japping a set of sharp metal claws into Koda's chest, then another set into his side.
Koda falls to one knee, holding his side, blood leaking out of his wounds. "B-Bastard. Y-You'll regret… that. He coughs out some blood as it drips from his mouth and smiles. "S-Sorry, Koji. In the end, I couldn't protect her." He said before he fell over, slowly fading out of existence in colorful sparkles.
Keralynn's eyes widened. "KODA!" She cried before she felt her head begin to pulse with pain where the nail had been. She falls to the ground, holding her head.
"KERALYNN!" Axelander cried out. He glares at his father, growling through gritted teeth. "You'll pay for that!" He said before he charged at him head on.
Bagheera smirked as he dodged all of his son's attacks. "Well now you're just attacking out of pure rage. I thought I thought you better than this, Axelander." He said before he jabbed his side with the metal claws, throwing him out of the way, knocking him out. He walks towards Keralynn, a whirlwind surrounding him to keep the other sentients away. "There are two things I've learned over the years. And that's whoever you're closest to at the time, You always have the illusions of them closest to you. Also, if those illusions get destroyed, you take the most mental damage from their loss. But there's one thing that I've learned since you first summoned your sentients. You would literally put a piece of your very soul into each one of them, whether you realize it or not. Which is why they would disappear with those colorful sparkles."
She looks at him, tears streaming down her face as she holds her head. "You bastard." She pants.
"It's just the two of us now, Keralynn. You can't possibly win against me. You have no fangs or claws to defend yourself with, and all your illusions are useless at this point. Look around you, whorelet. You can barely keep those who are here in existence." He said as the feathers around Daiskue disappeared, letting him go. "Give up now, And I just might let you live."
"I…would rather die than become a stupid pawn in your filthy syndicate." She said as she glared at him challengingly.
"Very well then. 'We' shall kill you where you lie." He said as Daiskue, as a bear, jumped up from behind her, ready to attack with his giant claws. Just then, a giant flock of pigeons surrounded them. A silverback gorilla flanked Daiskue with a punch to the side. The ground beneath Bagheera's paws began to rumble before he heard… an elephant? He looks over to see a whole stampede of elephants charging at him. "... Well fuck." He said before the dust from the stampede rose as they charged by.
Keralynn looks around in wonder before she feels a pair of strong but soft hands gently pick her up. "Well this is a surprise. I was wondering when you would show up." Daiskue said as he smiled, seeing a glowing golden yellow eye, glaring at him within the dust.

Yami = Fumikage Tokoyami (She calls her illusion of Dark Shadow the same nickname Reika does because I can't think of any more names relating to the darkness.)
