Mission 22: The Reluctant Rangers

After the events of Power Rangers Special Ops X Power Rangers Beast Morphers...
At the dark dimension, Enter paces back and forth while Escape is off building the next Roid. Enter talks to himself and looks off into the distance.

Enter: "The Rangers think they may have won but I have several aces up my sleeve. Thanks to my spy I have all the information I need on Omega Defense, the Grid Battle facility and everything I need to know about the Rangers. And, thanks to Venjix and Scrozzle I have saved enough power so that I can truly unleash my potential."

Enter walks towards a mysterious device he had built a while back. The machine doesn't have enough energy to turn on but he notices it's halfway through.

Enter: "Well, we're almost there. And soon in due time I will execute my plan and the Rangers will be sorry. But for now I must distract them while I complete this. Escape! Are we done?"

Escape shows up and answers "yes, we're all done. Sorry it took so long. This Roid did take some Enetron."

Enter: "Listen, we need to conserve this energy to my secret plan."

Escape: "Relax, besides this Roid has a special ability that none of them do. See, he will trap the Rangers and they will not see it coming."

Enter: "I hope so. But instead of just sending him to the city I want to create a distraction. Enter's eyes become red and very similar to Messiah."

Back at the city, the alarm goes off at Omega Defense and Commander Leon notices that there's five locations. Fearing the worst Commander Leon summons the Rangers. Officers Banks and Bratt prepare to debrief the team.

Commander Leon: "Rangers, this may be a trap. However, we can't take any chance so split up.

John: "I don't like this."

Perry: "Yeah, we need to be careful."

Andrew: "This has to be Enter."

Oscar: "Doesn't matter, we need to check."

Jake: "This feels wrong, but we can't put the city at risk."

The Rangers head out to each different location. Meanwhile Enter, who is downtown smiles menacingly with the new Roid Telecast. Enter looks at Telecast and says "The trap has been set, now go."

Telecast responds with "Yes sir," and splits into five clones. Each Ranger heads to the source of the alarm and don't notice anything until they suddenly get ambushed. Commander Leon notices that they have lost communication with the Rangers.

Commander Leon: "Rangers, Rangers I repeat. Are you there Rangers?"

Officer Banks: "Oh no sir. They disappeared. We can't find them."

Officer Bratt: "Sir, video surveillance shows nothing."

Commander Leon: "Oh great, we have to keep searching."

Meanwhile Telecast has trapped the Rangers in an energy bind that prevents them from moving. Enter laughs at the Rangers who are helpless in their situation.

Enter: "Well since you're here you won't have to worry. Soon, we will have all the Enetron and you will wish Messiah wasn't destroyed."

Back at HQ, Commander Leon orders the Omega Defense troops to search for the Rangers and unveils a metal box.

Commander Leon: "Troops go and find the Rangers, Enter will use this to his advantage. We need to find them and also ensure Enter doesn't send another Roid."

The head of the Omega Defense Troops Commander Susan Striker makes her prescence known and says "whatever is going on Commander, Enter is intent on stealing more Enetron and possibly infiltrating our facility. Oscar isn't here for our cybersecurity backup. We need to have our cyber officers ready too."

Commander Leon responds "yes, we will have them ready. But this box unfortunately has to be used." Commander Striker is surprised to see the box and asks "wait, you do realize that we must never use that except for an emergency, correct?" He then says "yes, but we need them now." He opens the box and reveals two extra morphers that he saved. This surprises everyone including Officers Bratt and Banks.

Commander Leon: "We have these morphers ready in case. However, I have to quickly choose someone to use these. Commander Striker, send your troops out I will find two people to use these."

Commander Striker: "Yes sir, men move out!"

The troops head to the city to find the Rangers while Commander Leon searches for two people. The troops find the location but are ambushed by Telecast and the Vipers. The troops shoot at the Vipers while reinforcements try to defeat Telecast but he uses his teleportation powers to send their attacks back at them. Commander Leon looks on desperate trying to find two people to use the powers.

Meanwhile Officers Banks and Bratt try their best to search for the Rangers.

Officer Banks: "We can't wait to find them. We need to see where exactly we lost their signal."

Officer Bratt: "Well, we know the last known locations but notice here. A weird green energy source. Something tells me they were kidnapped."

Officer Banks: "This has to be a Roid. They did this on purpose."

Officer Bratt: "Look see, there it is. The strange energy source."

Officer Banks: "Look it's the Roid they're fighting. That thing must be responsible."

Officer Bratt: "But how do we save them?"

Officer Banks: "I don't know. Not unless we know where the location is."

Officer Bratt: "We have to find them ourselves."

Officer Banks: "Not a good idea. Plus Commander Leon is still searching for anyone who can use those morphers."

Officer Bratt: "We can't wait. Let's go!"

Banks agrees and they drive off to the city. Commander Leon notices they left but lets them go and looks at the morpher. He then looks to an officer and says "you there, get my car. I have an idea."
The two officers drive to the location where the Red Ranger was. While the troops struggle to defeat Telecast who has not uttered a word at all the two officers look around to see anything out of the ordinary. Suddenly they notice a strange energy trail.

Officer Banks: "Look there it is. And it leads to here."

Both officers head out and notice the Rangers trapped in an energy bind.

Officer Bratt: "Oh great, there they are. Commander Leon we found them."

Commander Leon: "Great, stay there don't get caught."

Before they can leave they are ambushed by Telecast who then says "hahahaha I see you found them. Too bad you can't save them. Vipers kill them."

The officers run away while the Vipers shoot energy beams at them. They hide behind walls trying to evade the blasts.

Officer Banks: "Oh great this was not part of the plan!"

Officer Bratt: "Come on let's go this way!"

They spend their time running away and hiding hoping to outlast the Vipers. Banks notices a metal rod and hits a Viper who wasn't paying attention. They run to the car but are stopped by Telecast's energy blast. The car explodes and they hit the ground.

Officer Banks: "Ugh are you okay?"

Officer Bratt: "I think so. Come on."

They get up and try to evade the blasts but get hit by one of the blasts.

Officer Banks: "Oh great we are not gonna survive."

Officer Bratt: "Wait look the one you hit had a blaster. Use it!"

Officer Banks: "Okay here it goes."

Banks uses the blaster left by the Viper and manages to defeat most of them and he attempts to blast Telecast but he deflects their blasts.

Telecast: "ahahahahaha you are pathetic. You think you can defeat me?"

Suddenly, Commander Leon's car shows up and blasts Telecast. He gets out of the car and shows them the morphers.

Commander Leon: "Hey guys, here use these. You earned them."

Officer Banks: "Sir, we're not equipped to be Rangers."

Commander Leon: "But you are. You went out even though it was not a good idea. You don't need to fight to be a Ranger. You just need to have the heart."

He throws the morphers at both of them and they notice the new colors pink and green.

Officer Bratt: "Sir we can't fight. But we'll do it."

Commander Leon: "Don't worry, the power will protect you. All you need is to trust it."

They nod, put on the morphers and morph into their new forms.

"Special Ops Energize!"

They become the new Special Ops Green and Pink Rangers which infuriates Telecast.

Telecast: "What? More Rangers?"

Officer Banks: "This is cool."

Officer Bratt: "I know right? Let's try these powers out!"

"Transport."

They summon their new blasters and start shooting at the Vipers and Telecast. They manage to defeat all the Vipers and send Telecast back. Commander Leon says "Guys now save the Rangers!"
They nod and shoot directly at the barrier where the Rangers are trapped. The new Rangers then shoot at Telecast which causes the Rangers to break their binds and land on the concrete.

John: "Now I've seen everything. Nice job guys."

Andrew: "Good one. Never thought I'd see you two as Rangers."

Perry: "That pink looks cute on you and that green matches your eyes."

Oscar: "Now we have a bigger team."

Jake: "Excellent now let's destroy Telecast."

Officer Banks: "Thanks, we should help you since he owes us."

Officer Bratt: "Yeah, let's finish him off!"

Commander Leon: "Rangers, work together and destroy him."

Telecast: "I will destroy you all! Doesn't matter how many of you are there!"

The three main Rangers summon their Armor Mode, Oscar and Jake use the Special Ops Cannon while Banks and Bratt summon their new Catapult Cannon. They used their combined attacks destroy Telecast and cause him to explode. However, he grows on his own and before the Rangers can summon their zords Commander Leon says "Rangers, use the Catapult Turtle. Banks. Bratt. Your new forms will allow you to use the new zord and you can also combine it with the other zords."

Officer Banks: "Yes sir!"

Officer Bratt: "Let's do this guys!"

The Rangers summon all the zords and combine them to form the Special Ops Fighter Max Megazord and the Special Ops Lion Megazaord. Telecast attacks the zords while Banks and Bratt prepare the Catapult Turtle Zord.

Officer Banks: "Alright guys, the Railgun will need a lot of time to charge but we can use Catapult mode."

Officer Bratt: "Rangers, let's do this!"

John: "Right on! Let's do this!"

The two zords land on the catapult part of the zord and prepare for attack.

Telecast: "You can't defeat me even with that thing. I will deflect your attacks!"

Perry: "Deflect this!"

John: "Let's do this, Special Ops Catapult Attack!"

The Catapult Turtle Zord launches the Megazords towards Telecast where they use their final attacks to quickly destroy Telecast. He explodes and all the Rangers celebrate their victory.

John: "Thanks guys, you proved to be Rangers."

Jake: "I may not be human but I can share my appreciation for you. You truly are worthy."

The Rangers head back to base where Commander Leon congratulates both officers.

Commander Leon: "Officers, I am so thankful for both of you. You have proven yourselves as Rangers. Now, since you have no special abilities you must only use these powers when necessary."

Officer Banks: "Don't worry, we're used to doing busy work here."

Officer Bratt: "Same here, I can't wait to go back to boring work."

The team laughs and they put their hands together and say "to team work."
