Sunlight beams through the leafy glasshouse. Vines curl along the walls. FLORA, cheerful and earthy, tends to a garden of exotic flowers. IVY, sly and sharp-eyed, leans against a flowerpot, arms crossed.
FLORA
Just imagine, Ivy — the perfect plant. Beautiful and helpful!
IVY (smirking)
Helpful? No, darling. Dominant. One that eats trash — and maybe pests.
FLORA (giggling)
Let's keep it friendly, huh?
The two mix glowing potions into a large soil bed. The ground shakes. A SPROUT bursts upward like a rocket, unfurling into a GIANT CARNIVOROUS PLANT with snapping jaws and glowing eyes.
INT. OGGY'S HOUSE – CONTINUOUS
OGGY vacuums, humming. Suddenly, the vacuum tube yanks itself from his hands and is sucked out the window.
OGGY
Meow?!
EXT. ANIMVILLE – DAY
The giant plant rampages, grabbing signs, cars, and snacks. DEE DEE is pulled from a hotdog stand.
DEE DEE (chewing)
Hey! I was eating that!
MARKY (winking to a passing vine)
Nice lips, sweetheart.
FLORA and IVY watch in awe and horror as vines reach skyscraper heights.
IVY (proudly)
She's beautiful.
FLORA
She's hungry!
INT. OLIVIA'S HOUSE – LATER
OLIVIA, PIYA, MONICA, and a few of Olivia's cockroaches gather. JESSICA, DEMI DEMI, and MARCIE look impressed.
OLIVIA
That thing's eating everything!
JESSICA
Kind of iconic though.
MONICA (grabbing skates)
Let's skate up its stalk and shut it down.
INT. PLANT CORE – NIGHT
Flora and Ivy argue as the plant's roots lash around.
FLORA
This was supposed to help the world!
IVY (softly)
The world hurts things like us. Why not scare it back?
A tear trickles from Flora's eye. The plant hesitates.
FLORA
Then let's scare it with kindness.
EXT. ANIMVILLE – FINAL SHOWDOWN
Monica, Olivia, and Oggy's crew skate and climb through vines. JOANNE tosses baby JOY into the air — the baby giggles, unleashing a wave of happiness. The plant... calms down.
Its teeth retract. It lowers to the ground, curling like a puppy.
IVY (smiling slightly)
Guess love is stronger than toxins.
FLORA
Told you plants just need care.
The gang laughs, except for JACK who's tangled upside-down in a vine.
JACK
Next time... we stick to cactus!
