Hey everyone, your back, well that's not too surprising considering that the first two chapters were released on the same day.
Anyway, let's get to the conclusion of the two-part opener.
Chapter 2: Hazbins Meet Loud
Within the last few minutes in the hotel lobby, after Lincoln introduced himself, he explained to everyone the events that happened before and after arriving in Hell by using the bulletin board from Charlie's office that had notes and drawings to visualize his explanation. During the talk, the hotel residents were sitting/standing next to one of the couches in the lobby. Even after Lincoln finished his explanation, everyone was surprised by what he told them.
"So let me get this straight," said Vaggie who was sitting next to Charlie "You are living breathing human, you live with you parents, pets, and 10 sisters who are all related to you by blood in a small two stories house on Earth, you and one of your younger sisters name Lucy were able to talk to one of your dead relative who showed you both visions of the future, and to top it all off, you got drag into Hell by some unknown demon lady?"
"Yes," responded Lincoln.
The hotel residents stared at Lincoln in disbelief after he confirmed Vaggie's recap.
"Well my dear, I stand corrected," said Alastor as he looks at Charlie "This did surprise me."
"You expect us to believe that you're an actual living human that got dragged into Hell?" said Husk.
"And that you have 10 sisters that all came out the same woman's vagina and she's still standing," said Angel.
"I can't believe I get to meet an actual human!" Charlie said in excitement.
"I know, right?!" said Niffy in equal excitement.
"Babe, this kid is lying to us" said Vaggie who doesn't believe what Lincoln said "I've heard some bull shit stories in my life, and that one, is definitely of the-"
"Now hold on Vaggie, I wouldn't say Lincoln's story isn't too far-fetched," said Charlie, who believes in what Lincoln said, "I've heard plenty of stories about humans summoning demons to fulfill their desires. So it is very possible that some demons may have summoned humans for the same reason. Although, this is the first time I'm seeing something like this in person."
Lincoln sigh as he tries to get everyone else to believe him "Look guys, if I had proof to show you all that that I'm human, I would do it in a snap," as he snaps his fingers "But sadly I don't."
Wanting to help Lincoln prove his humanity, Charlies was thinking of some ways to that, until she remembered someone who could do that as well as help him with his other situation.
"Actually, I think I know of a demon who cannot only prove that Lincoln's a living human but can also get him back home to Earth," said Charlie which caught Lincoln everyone else by surprise "Let me try to find out their name and call them to see if they can help you Lincoln."
Hearing some actual good news in Hell gave Lincoln the hope he needed that he might go back to his normal life on Earth. Well, normal for a Loud anyway.
"That is perfect!" Lincoln said happily, "Thank you so much for your help Ms…eh, you know, I didn't get your name or theirs," as he looks at the others.
"Oh my gosh Lincoln your right! you already told us your name and your sisters, but we didn't do ourselves!" said Charlie as she got up from the couch, walked towards Lincoln, and started the introduction "First off, let me welcome you to the Hazbin Hotel!" as she happily told him the name of the hotel he's at.
"The Hazbin Hotel, huh?" said Lincoln. "It has a nice ring to it. So what kind of hotel is it?"
"I'm glad you asked," said Charlie. "This hotel is where sinners come to check-in in order to rehabilitate their souls so that they can be worthy of earning a place in Heaven."
After hearing the purpose of the Hazbin Hotel, Lincoln was surprised by it.
"A rehab hotel… in Hell… where sinners try to redeem themselves… so that they can go to Heaven?" said Lincoln as he wanted to make sure he heard what Charlie said.
"Yes," Charlie confirmed with a nervous smile since she was concerned that Lincoln would either laugh and/or ridicule her for her idea like so many other demons and sinners has done to her before ever since she first announced the Hazbin Hotel during a live news broadcast.
The other hotel residents were prepared for what the Lincoln would do until he asked, "Does it work?".
Charlie's eyes lit up with joy, while everyone else was not expecting that response.
"Well… not yet exactly," Charlie uneasily admitted. "We're still trying to work out the kinks, not to mention many people think my idea is stupid," as she said that last part sadly, "but anyway, let me introduce everyone else living here," she starts off with Vaggie "This is Vaggie, the hotel's manager and my girlfriend"
"Hey," she bluntly greeted, "And if you have a problem with me and Charlie being a couple than that's your problem."
"I don't have a problem with that," said Lincoln. "You can love however you want so long as it's mutual. Besides, my best friend on Earth lives with two dads, and Luna, one of my older sisters, has a girlfriend. If what you and Charlie have is the same as theirs, then good for you both."
"Oh, well, thanks," said Vaggie as she felt ashamed for thinking Lincoln was prejudiced against same sex couples.
Charlie then introduces Alastor: "This is Alastor, our facility manager."
"A pleasure to make you Mr. Loud, quite the pleasure," as Alastor was able to fully greet him.
Lincoln politely waves back at him but he was still scared of Alastor since his appearance and mannerism closely resemble the demons he's seen from movies/tv, and videogames.
Charlie then introduces Husk: "This is Husk, our concierge and bartender."
"Don't bother me," said Husk as he chugs a bottle.
"Alright then," said Lincoln, agreeing to his term.
Charlie then introduces Niffty, "Niffty, our housekeeper."
Niffty ran close to Lincoln and greeted herself "Hey nice to meet you, I'm always excited to make new friends, especially if they're men!" as he got closer to his face. "Even though you're a little young but still a man none the less!" as she smiles at him.
As Lincoln was a little creeped out of how close Niffty was to him, she was grab by both Razzle and Dazzle by her arms who flew her back to the others to give Lincoln his personal space back.
Charlie then introduces Razzle and Dazzle "That's Razzle and Dazzle, my assistances who help around the hotel as best as they can, they don't talk, but their great at listening and supporting others".
Razzle and Dazzle flew above Lincoln and bowed down to greet him.
"Aww" said Lincoln "Now that I get a better look at you two, you two do look cute" which cause both Razzle and Dazzle to blush from his compliment.
Meow, Lincoln heard a cat and turned around to see the one-eyed cat walking close to him and sitting down next to him.
Lincoln kneels down close to her and asks, "Who's this cat?"
"That's Keekee, she's my family's house cat," said Charlie.
"Hey, Keekee, it's nice to meet you," said Lincoln as he put his hand over her head. She waited a little and let him pet her head which she liked due to her purring.
Charlie then introduces Angel: "Here is Angel Dust, the hotel's first patron."
"Nice to meet ya', short round," Angel greeted. "So, 10 sisters, guess that means you've been hearing your folks going at it all night like rabbits, huh?"
"Ok, first off, ew," said Lincoln in disgust at Angel's question "and second, my sisters and I have been fortunate enough not to have heard or walked in on our parents when they are together," as he blushed in embarrassment from the last word.
Angel responded by raising an eyebrow with a mischievous smile since he wasn't convinced. "Right," he said.
To make things less awkward, Charlie introduces herself, "and lastly there's me, Charlie Morningstar, the owner of the Hazbin Hotel, and Princess of Hell."
After hearing that last statement, Lincoln said in surprise, "Wait, you're a princess!?"
Charlie nodded her head with a proud smile.
Lincoln got close to Charlie and bowed to her to show her the respect a royal should get.
"It's nice to meet you, Your Majesty," said Lincoln.
Charlie was caught off-guard by Lincoln showing her the respect she rarely gets and started forming happy tears in her eyes. She couldn't control herself any longer grabs him into a tight hug as she tells him "You are just the sweetest thing ever!"
"Well, at least he has manners," Vaggie remarked.
"Indeed," Alastor agreed, showing some intrigue as he started to get more interested in Lincoln.
After a while, Charlie finally released Lincoln from her tight hug, allowing him to breathe again.
"So, you're Satan's daughter huh?" asked Lincoln.
"Actually, Lucifer is my real dad," Charlie clarified. "Satan is a separate demon who's second in command of Hell. Although out of all my aunts and uncles in the seven sins, Uncle Satan is the biggest and strongest of them."
"Really?" Lincoln responds in curiosity.
"Alright, now that we all know each, it's time for you go back home so that you can forget us," said Vaggie. "Hon, you said know someone who can help the kid out?"
"Oh yeah that's right" said Charlie as she pulls out her hellphone which the Hell's equivalent to a cellphone "Let me find them and explain the situation. In the meantime, use this time to try and get to know each other better," as she happily walks away to a hallway to call this mystery demon.
With Charlie gone, Lincoln sits on a couch adjacent to the couch where the others are. The scene shows Lincoln and hotel residents just staring at each other, not knowing what to say or how to interact with one another. Sure, Lincoln, along with his family and friends, has had their share of facing the supernatural before, not to mention his recent encounter with aliens last Halloween. But meeting demons, especially in Hell, is a first. While he was freaked out by them at first, after Charlie's introduction, he was less scared but still cautious of them.
As for Vaggie and the others, they don't know what to believe. If it's true that Lincoln is a living human, then this will be the first time they ever met one in Hell. Not to mention, why would a demon woman go through the trouble of trapping him and his sisters? While Lincoln was kind to Charlie and respected her sexuality, Vaggie wasn't sure if she could fully trust him. Alastor was just excited to have a new form of entertainment and is wondering if the Harriet that Lincoln mentioned is the same Harriet that he and his fellow associates know. Husk couldn't care less about Lincoln and just thinks he's making up some excuse rather than accepting the fact that he died and went to Hell for his sins. Angel was thinking of all the ways to tease him, especially trying to find out all of Lincoln's dirty little secrets/desires. Niffty was happy to make a new friend and was thinking about what kind of fun they could have.
After a few minutes of awkward silents, Lincoln was the first to talk to them "So, all of you guys believe in Charlie's idea of redeeming sinners?"
"I do" said Vaggie "But these two thinks the idea's a joke" as she points to Angel and Husk "While he just wants to watch Charlie and the sinners fail" as she points to Alastor who accepting that fact with a chuckle.
"I'll admit that idea does seem almost impossible to achieve" said Lincoln which made Vaggie frown thinking Lincoln doesn't truly believe in Charlie's dream "But, if the sinners down here really regret their actions when they were alive and want to change for the better, then they should have that chance. After all, despite Charlie being the princess of Hell, she's the nicest person I've ever met, which means there is hope for some people down here."
Hearing Lincoln showing is full support to Charlie's dream surprise others as they started to wonder if he really isn't a sinner but an actual human.
Before the others could say anything else, Charlie came running back into the lobby with great news "Hey guys, I was able to find him" she said happily "I told him about your situation as well as you being a living human, don't worry, he promises not to tell anyone, and he should be arriving very soon," said Charlie.
No sooner when Charlie finished her explanation, a blue portal opened in front of the bar, which surprised Lincoln and the others. From within the portal came out a very tall, thin owl demon with two pairs of narrowed red eyes with no pupils or irises. His feathers were gray-blue, had a lighter gray-blue puff of fur on his chest, and his feet were tipped with bird-like claws. He also wore elegant clothing, which was a red tunic with six linked golden buttons down the breast, a top hat that features a regal gold crown encircling it, a long burgundy cape, and long black gloves with white feathered trims at the elbows.
Alastor and Husk knew who this owl demon was, except for Angel, who just saw him as his next person to have sex with, while Vaggie and Niffty had no clue who he was.
When Lincoln saw the owl demon, rather than being afraid of him, he felt a very intimidating presence that demanded respect for him.
As the owl demon gazed upon everyone in the lobby, he saw Charlie and smiled at her.
"Princess Charlotte" the owl demon spoke in a British accent as he walks up to her "It's an honor to finally meet you in person" as he stops and bows to her.
"The honor is all mine," Charlie said as she also bowed to the owl demon, followed by greeting him to everyone in the lobby.
"Everyone, I would like you all to meet Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia royal family".
"Salutations, everyone," said Stolas.
Charlie looked at Lincoln and showed Stolas to him, "Prince Stolas, this is Lincoln Loud, the boy I talked to you about over the phone".
Stolas got close to him and looked down on him while Lincoln looked up in awe in how tall Stolas compared to the others.
"My word Princess Charlotte" said Stolas as she looked at Charlie "When you said you had a human child in your hotel, I thought you might be exaggerating and yet here he is" Stolas also took a quick sniff of him and said, "and to confirm the boy's story, he truly is alive."
"Wait!" said Vaggie. "Are you sure?"
"Indeed, I am my lady," said Stolas. "Humans have a particular smell that's different from sinners and demons in Hell. After spending time with some humans who have summoned me for their boring and typical sacrificial rituals, that I know their scent anywhere. And I can assure you, that this boy truly is a living human."
After hearing Stolas confirm Lincoln's humanity, the other gasps once they've learned that there's a human in front of them.
"Prince Stolas," said Lincoln as he was bowing to him. "It's very nice for us to meet you sir and thank you so much for confirming everyone my story".
"Such well-mannered," Stolas notes with approval. "You don't see that often in mortal younglings nowadays."
"Don't forgot how adorable he is," Charlie further complimenting Lincoln "So Prince Stolas" as she looks at him "Are you able to send Lincoln back home to Earth?"
"Indeed I can princess," said Stolas as he opens up his cape and reveals a blue book with red gem on the spine and a golden moon symbol on the cover "This, is the Goetia Grimoire," as he grabs the book to show everyone "One of its many capabilities is to travel to not only any place in Hell or Earth, put to other worlds in galaxies far, far, away"
"Oooooh," said Lincoln and everyone else who was impressed by the Grimoire's capabilities.
Stolas opens the Grimoire and asks Lincoln, "Know then, where exactly on Earth are you from?"
Lincoln immediately answered, "Royal Woods, Michigan, USA!"
"Thank you," said Stolas. "Open a portal to Royal Woods, Michigan, USA," after he said that a portal opens a few feet behind Lincoln, and it showed the sign of Royal Woods with the town behind it during nighttime.
Lincoln and others gasp as they see the portal to Royal Woods.
"There it is, my home," said Lincoln in happy relief
"Wow, I never thought I would get to see a glimpse of Earth," said Charlie excitedly
"Me neither," Vaggie said in awe.
"Sure looks different when I was alive," said Husk.
"No duh Husky," said Angel "Everyone here besides the princess had been dead for a shit long time. Of course, Earth is gonna look different."
"Regardless," said Alastor. "It would be great to visit the land of the living again, especially seeing how today's humans waste their life that will end them down here," as his smile got bigger.
"EEEEEEE" Niffy squealed in delight. "How I would love to see today's modern men, and the fun they like to have."
As crazy as today was, Lincoln was relieved that he could finally go home and tell his sisters where he had been. Although there's a strong chance they might not believe him. As he started walking to the portal, it suddenly disappeared. He turns around and sees that Stolas has closed the Grimoire.
"Prince Stolas," he asked in confusion, "Why did you close the portal?".
"Because child, I must first make sure if you are capable of returning back to Earth permanently" stated Stolas.
"What do you mean if he can go back?" Charlie worriedly asked.
"Lincoln, you told Princess Charlotte and her associates that you and one of your little sisters saw a female demon you believe is responsible for summoning you here, yes?" asked Stolas.
"That's true," responded Lincoln. "Lucy and I saw a version of her laughing in the same red vortex that send me to Hell".
"Then there's a strong possibility that this demon might have put a spell on you that could prevent you from truly returning home," said Stolas.
Lincoln gasped at the thought, and even Charlie and the others were shocked by that idea, too.
"Fortunately, there is a spell in the Grimoire that can detect any magic that that was place on someone as well as identify who place that spell" said Stolas "Also, if we're luckily, should the spell that was place on you is not too strong or complex, I should be able to break it.
Lincoln looked up at Stolas and asked him, "What do you need me to do?"
"Simply stand still while I cast the spell," said Stolas. "And don't worry, it won't be painful or life-threatening whatsoever."
Lincoln followed Stolas's instruction as he opens the book and flips through the pages that has the spell he's going to cast. Once he found the spell, he stretches out his right hand, closes his eyes, and his right hand started to glow light blue. Lincoln notices the same light blue glow around his body as the look in awe as he's witnessing actual magic being used on him.
With the spell being cast, everyone else had different reactions on how this would play out. Charlie was hopeful the Stolas will succeed in helping Lincoln get back home, Vaggie wants Stolas to succeed but fears something might go wrong, Alastor hopes that the spell won't work just so that he can see the despair in Lincoln's face, Husk wasn't too impress and just continue drinking his bottle, Niffty was gleefully exciting in seeing the spell being cast, and Angle was thinking of all the sex play he and Stolas can have with his magic.
As Stolas continues to cast the spell, the scene changes to what looks like a purple other space, but was really the astral plane, a realm that links the body/mind of every being in existence where people can travel to if they have control over their astral forms. In the astral plane, Stolas's astral form is a light-blue silhouette version of himself as he floats around the plane looking for the Loud boy. A few moments later, Stolas was able to find the Lincoln's astral form that was in a bubble with his eyes closed and his silhouette being an orange color.
"Alright, young Loud" said astral form Stolas as he got closer Lincoln's astral form "let's see which of Hell's inhabitants put some much effort in bringing you here".
When Stolas touched the bubble, the astral plane suddenly changed from purple to red which surprised Stolas. The bubble that had Lincoln's astral form flew away from Stolas only to be caught by a giant red silhouette right hand. The hand silhouette soon took the form of the same demonic red eye woman in hat who brough Lincoln to Hell as her astral forms tower overs Stolas's astral form. The woman looked down at Stolas as she maniacally laughs at his attempt in trying to help the Loud boy. As Stolas gave upon the woman, never in his existence has he confronted someone with so much power, so much evil, that he couldn't move from the fear of it. The woman waved her left hand which caused an invisible force to push Stolas far away from her.
Back in reality, Stolas was pushed backwards and slid across the floor, surprising everyone.
"Stolas!" shouted Charlie and Lincoln as the two of them ran to aid him while others followed to see what happen.
Stolas sat up from the fall as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Stolas are you ok." Charlie asked worriedly.
"A little daze, but quite alright," said Stolas.
"Here, let me help you up." said Lincoln as he offers him his hand.
Stolas grabbed Lincoln's hand as he stood back up with Charlie supporting Stolas by holding his left side. Lincoln saw Stolas's hat on the floor, grabbed it, and gave it back to him
"Thank you my dear boy," As he took his hat back and place it back on his head.
"What happened to you?" asked Vaggie.
"I'm afraid I have terrible news and worse news," Stolas said with regret.
Lincoln didn't like the sound of that and was afraid of what Stolas was going to say "Well, let's start with the terrible news"
"I was unable to identify the demon brought you to Hell, but however she is, they are no ordinary demon" said Stolas in a serious tone "The power I sense from her is stronger than any royal family in Hell and can even rival the seven sins, that includes both your father and you Princess Charlotte" as he looked at Charlie.
Hearing that there's an unknown demon with that much power worried Charlie and Vaggie was scared that this unknown demon might hurt Charlie. Husk, Angle, and Niffty was surprised that a demon like that exist and while Alastor face was still smiling, his grin went down a little, and his eyes shifted a little since he might know who the demon Stolas saw.
"And the worst news?" Lincoln worriedly asks.
"It would seem what I said earlier was true and this demon has placed a spell or rather a curse on you," said Stolas as Lincoln look at him in horror and the others were shocked from this news "Before that demon cast me out of the astral plane, I was still able to identify the curse that she put on you".
Stolas reach out his hand as the Grimoire levitates back to him. He opens it again, and casts another spell, that shows a red glow surrounding Lincoln. "This aurora that I just made visible shows that your soul is now link to Hell. Even if I did send you back to Earth, the most you can spend up there is a day until the curse drags you back to the same spot in Hell that you departed."
After Stolas explained the nature of the curse placed on Lincoln, the whole lobby fell into silence. Having learned that he's basically trapped in Hell, Lincoln's face turned to despair and sadness. His legs gave out as he fell on both knees as he's realizing everything that he has lost. He can never go back home to his family and friends again. While he still can go back home, his loved ones would have to live with the constant hardship of him having to go back to Hell or watch him get drag back to Hell. A life like that is just as cruel as being sent to Hell after dying.
The hotel residents were also sympathetic to Lincoln's plight. Husk and Angel both know what it's like to be trapped in a situation they can never get out of. Niffy looked sad and was on the verge of crying. Vaggie looked at Lincoln with a sad frown, to be stuck in an unknown scary place all alone is something she dealt with before meeting Charlie.
For Alastor, he was thrilled about this outcome. For seeing the misfortunes of others, regardless of age, is one of his great forms of entertainment. However, despite getting what he wanted, for some reason, he couldn't help but feel some shred of pity for Lincoln.
Charlie was already crying because of Lincoln's situation. He's a normal boy living a simple life on Earth, only to be taken away by some demon lady who wants him as well as his sisters for who knows what. Charlie knew how hard life is in Hell for sinners and demons, Lincoln doesn't deserve that hardship. He is still alive, and from the short time Charlie knew him, she knew that he has a kind soul that deserves to go to heaven when his time comes in the far future.
As Lincoln was falling into deeper utter hopelessness, Stolas was able to snap him out of it by kneeling close to him and patting his head "Now child, all hope is not completely lost," he said as Lincoln looked up to him. "When it comes to curses, no matter how simple or complex they are, they all have one thing in common, they can be broken." which brightens his and everyone else's mood in the lobby.
"While this curse is one of the complex ones, once the right spell is found or created, it can be used to break it, and I can send you back home to Earth." Stolas said with a smile.
Hearing that brought hope back to Lincoln and even made the hotel residents happy to hear the great news.
"Know, to find said spell will take time and research," said Stolas "Once I find something, I'll come back to tell you all what I got," as he opens the Grimoire and creates a portal back to his mansion.
Before Stolas left, Lincoln said "Wait, Prince Stolas," as he walked towards him "Before you go, can you please do two things for me?"
"Of course, dear child" Stolas agreed to what Lincoln wanted.
"First, I want to help you find or create a spell that can break this curse," said Lincoln "I may not be a complete expert in magic like you or my little sister Lucy, but I'm getting there. Also, I don't want you to have to bare that responsibility of breaking mine curse all on your own."
The others were surprised by Lincoln's generosity. Despite the situation he's in, he's still considerate of others and wants to help in breaking his curse. But the question is, can he perform let alone do demonic magic.
"Why, how kind of you to offer your assistance," said Stolas "With the two of us working together, we can find a spell to break this curse faster. Let me first gather enough books and I'll send them all here for you to look at."
"That sounds great," said Lincoln.
"And your second request?" Stolas asked.
What Lincoln is about to ask Stolas is going to be the hardest thing for him to do, but it's necessary to put him and his loved ones at ease.
Back at the Loud house, Lisa, Lana, and Todd were working nonstop in fixing the teleportation machine so that they could bring Lincoln back. After Lincoln was sucked into the portal, the sisters feared that he was sent to some unknown dangerous location or worse, that he didn't survive the trip. Fortunately, Lisa disproved that last idea by showing everyone her tracking device that showed the tracking chip she secretly implanted on her entire family a while back. Lisa told them that her device not only tracks their location but monitors their vitals. Lincoln's tracking chip showed that he's ok, but it couldn't locate his exact location. While Lisa, Lana, and Todd were fixing the teleportation device, the others waited anxiously until it was repaired.
"Dudes, how long are you going to take to fix this thing?" asked Luna.
"We're doing the best we can with what we got," said Lana as she was screwing together some parts of the machine while Todd was hammering another part.
"Well do it better" demanded Lynn "Lincoln has been gone for hours to who knows where"
"This is all mine fault" said Luan who was sitting on the wall next to the door all sad "Had I just pull harder; Lincoln wouldn't have been suck into the portal"
"Oh Luan, don't blame yourself," said Leni who was comforting her.
"She's right," confirms Lori "We all tried our best to save both Lincoln and Lily, but it wasn't enough. What Lincoln did was reckless, but he was able to save Lily and us from being pulled into the portal."
"Well, he better be ok," said Lola "Because when he gets back, I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind for pulling that self-sacrifice like one of his comic book heroes," but despite that threat, she still hopes that Lincoln's ok.
While everyone was worried and hopeful of Lincoln's return, Lucy was thinking about the vision she and Lincoln had earlier today. If what their Great Grandma Harriet showed them was true, then there's a possibility that Lincoln's somewhere where he's experiencing some events of the vision.
"Fear not siblings," Lisa addressed everyone while typing on the teleporter's monitor keyboard "I understand everyone's concerns of our brother's wellbeing. But so long as his vitals are in the clear, we shall remain positive that we can bring him back long before our parent's date night end and we can forget this whole debacle ever occurred."
After Lisa reassured everyone, the portal suddenly opened in the machine, which surprised them. Another interesting thing is that the color of the portal wasn't green or the red color that sucked Lincoln, but it was blue. Seeing the portal open, everyone, except for Lisa, Lana, and Todd cheered in joy that they would soon get their brother back.
"Yes, the portal's open," cheered Lori.
"Time to bring our bro back dudes," said Luna.
"Hanged on Stinkcoln!" said Lynn as she ran to the portal.
"We are coming to save you!" screamed Lola as he followed Lynn.
As the two of them ran to the portal, they were hit by an invisible wall that prevented them from entering inside. The other sisters winced at what happened to Lynn and Lola as the two of them fell backwards with their faces marked red from the impact.
"What the heck guys!?" Lynn shouted at Lisa, Lana, and Todd.
"Yeah, why aren't you letting us inside the portal!?" scream Lola as she adjusts her tiara.
"Well for one thing sisters, I didn't activate the machine" stated Lisa.
"I'm still repairing it." said Lana.
"And it's not even plugged iinnnnn," as Todd showed everyone the machine's power cord.
"Then, how is it open?" asked Leni.
The sisters cautiously step away from the portal after Leni asked that question. Within the darkness of the portal, something was slowly getting closer which put the sisters on edge on who or what will come out. What did come out of the portal was a letter that fell a few feet from the sisters as the portal also closed again.
As everyone got close to the letter on the ground, they didn't know where it came from, but they all looked at each other as they silently agreed as to who wrote it. Lucy grabbed the letter, opened it, and confirmed their suspicion.
"Guys, this is from Lincoln." said Lucy
"Well Luce, what did he write?" asked Lynn.
As Lucy started reading the letter, everyone imagined it being said in Lincoln's voice: Dear Family, I want you all to know that I made it safe through the other side of the portal. As to where I ended up, I can't tell you, at least not now. Just know that I'm going to be working hard in trying to get back home to Royal Woods, and should anything come up, I'll send another letter through the portal. When mom and dad get home, tell them what happened, better they know the truth than you guys lying about where I am. If you guys still have concerns about my whereabouts, ask Lucy, she'll show you everything that has and will happen. I know some of you are upset or sad for what I did, but if it meant saving my family, it was worth it. Take care guys, be back soon. Love, Lincoln Loud.
Hearing Lincoln's letter did put everyone at ease that he's ok, but it still didn't take away the sadness that he isn't with them or how long it will take for him to come back.
"Lucy," said Lisa "What did our brother mean by asking you of his whereabouts?" as she and the others looked at her.
"She right, do you know where he is?" asked Lori.
"Please Lucy, tell us." pleaded Luan who still feels the most guilt of not having saved Lincoln.
Lily walked up to Lucy and grabbed her hand as she was on the verge of crying "Lucy."
Lucy sigh and tells her sisters "Alright everyone, I'll tell you where Lincoln might be, or better yet, I'll show" as she walks towards hers/Lynn's room with the others following her as they'll soon witness the same vision that Lucy and Lincoln saw moments before the portal opened.
Back at the Hazbin Hotel, we see the portal Stolas created with the Grimoire just closing after Lincoln threw the letter he wrote inside it.
"Thanks again for doing this for me Prince Stolas," said Lincoln as he looked at him "Also, making sure my sisters couldn't see through the other side of the portal,"
"Of course my dear boy" said Stolas "Not many humans can handle the truth of Hell's existence, so kudos on you for sparing your sisters that truth until they ready."
Lincoln nods at Stolas's compliment as Stolas opens another portal back to his mansion. "Now then, give me some time to gather the proper books so that we can start our research into breaking the curse. Until we meet again Lincoln Loud," as he enters the portal and it closes.
Lincoln turns towards the others at the hotel and tells them "Well guys, looks like I'm going to be stuck here for a while, not that I don't have a choice," as he looked at them with reluctance.
"Hey, it's not all bad," said Charlie as she walked towards Lincoln "Like Stolas said, there is a way to break this curse on you and at least you told your sisters you're ok".
Even with Charlie's encouragement, it still didn't brighten Lincoln's mood of the situation he's in. Not wanting to see Lincoln upset, Charlie was thinking of a way to cheer him up until she thought of something.
"You know, I have just the thing that can cheer you up" said Charlie as Lincoln looked at her curiously.
Charlie snaps her fingers and a spotlight shines on her. Lincoln wasn't sure what was going on, but everyone else in the hotel knew what was about to happen.
"There she goes," Vaggie said while smirking.

With the song over, the hotel residents were all clapping from Charlie's performance and Lincoln was smiling at how happy it made him feel.
"There's that smile I've been looking for," said Charlie who was happy to cheer Lincoln up.
"Thank you Princess Charlie, I really need that," said Lincoln.
"Don't mention it, and please, just call me Charlie," she told Lincoln. "Also, I have other good news, while you're working on finding the right spell to break the curse, you can stay at the Hazbin Hotel with your own room."
Before Lincoln could respond to Charlie's offer, Vaggie interjected by saying "Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on hon, I don't think it's a good idea letting him stay in the hotel. For one thing, this place is for sinners who work on rehabilitating themselves. Technically, he's not a sinner, at least, not yet anyway"
Lincoln looked at Vaggie with the "really" expression on his face.
"Oh come on Vaggie, we can't leave him out there to defend himself," Charlie argued in a pleading tone. "He doesn't know how Hell works done here, not to mention that Stolas will be back here to give him the books he needs to break his curse. So can he stay at the hotel please?" as she gives Vaggie the puppy dog eyes.
"Yeah Vagina, have a heart," Angel taunted her.
Ignoring Angel's taunt, Vaggie looks at Charlie and then at Lincoln who had a worried expression of whether he'll be staying at the hotel or not.
Unable to handle her girlfriend's pleading expression and Lincoln's worried look, Vaggie caved in and submitted. "Huh,bien(fine), the kid can stay," she said reluctantly.
"Yay!" Charlie cheered in delight followed by hugging Vaggie and giving her several kisses on the cheek which made her smile.
Lincoln sighed in relief that he had somewhere to stay instead of wandering in Hell by himself.
Once Vaggie was released from Charlie's hug, she walked up to Lincoln to talk to him in a commanding tone. "Alright kid listen-up" which made Lincoln pay attention to her "Since you are not a sinner and are going to be living in the hotel for a while, I got but one rule that you will follow. You are going to be working here. We already have one annoying freeloader," as she glares over at Angel Dust who flipped her with his four hands.
"That seems fair enough," Lincoln agreeing to Vaggie's term.
"If that's the case, I know the perfect job for him, follow me," said Charlie who led Lincoln to a different location in the hotel.
After a few minutes, Charlie returned to the lobby with a big smile on her face "Ladies and Gentledemons, allow me to introduce the Hazbin Hotel's newest employee!" she announced excitedly. "Our bellhop boy!"
Lincoln comes out wearing a red bellhop coat and hat, dark grey pants, and dark brown shoes.
Everyone was impressed with the new uniform that Lincoln was wearing as well as his position at the hotel.
Angel whistled at Lincoln and said "Looking good little man~" jokingly.
"Welcome to Hell and the Hazbin Hotel," Husk complimented.
"We're going to have so much fun!" Niffty said excitedly.
"I'll be looking forward to seeing where this goes," Alastor voiced his interest.
"Happy to be here and to help as best as I can," as Lincoln salutes everyone
"Well, I think we've all had enough excitement for one day," Vaggie said, rubbing her eye.
"Your right Vaggie, it's bedtime everyone," said Charlie "Lincoln, I'll show you where you will be sleeping".
As everyone was heading off to their rooms, Charlie led Lincoln to the room he'll be staying in.
On the second floor of the hotel, Charlie opens the door to the room Lincoln will be staying at, and he was very impressed by it.
"As you can see, this room is fully furnished with its own bed, furniture, closet, and private bathroom."
"Wow Charlie," said Lincoln as he was looking around the room "This place is amazing, I don't know how I can thank you."
"You're already agreed to work at the hotel, not to mention you'll be working on breaking your curse, this is the least I can do," said Charlie.
"Still, there's gotta be another way for me to show my appreciation," Lincoln said to her.
"It's ok Lincoln really," Charlie humbly said.
As Lincoln thinking of another way to thank Charlie, he thought about the one thing that will really make her happy "I know, let me help you fulfill your dream in redeeming sinners."
"What?" Charlie looked at Lincoln in surprise "You want to help achieve the Hotel's main goal?"
"Of course," said Lincoln "There have been times when me, my family, and friends had made some terrible mistakes in our lives, but we've learned from them and become better people. If you, the princess of Hell, believe that her people can have the chance to be better and live a better life in heaven, then I believe you too."
After hearing how Lincoln believes in her dream, Charlie was so touched to have someone else help her with her cause.
"There's that smile I've been looking for," said Lincoln.
Once again Charlie couldn't resist her urge and hugged Lincoln again but this time not too tight. Happy to see Charlie happy, Lincoln also hugged her as he has found the one person in Hell that he can truly call a friend.
On the other side of the door, Vaggie is leaning on the wall next to the door who came to the room earlier to walk Charlie back to their room only to overhear the conversation between her and Lincoln. Vaggie smiled and thought to herself (You know, maybe him staying here won't be all bad).

After reading this chapter, you've noticed how I kept the curse aspect from ALAD and got rid of the chosen one aspect from HGL. While I understand Epic wanting a different reason for Lincoln staying in Hell, it created some plot holes like why Lincoln couldn't visit Earth. Another plot hole was the Hazbin crew not knowing about demons who could visit Earth, especially Charlie who is older than everyone. By keeping the curse aspect in this remake story, it gives Lincoln that urgency of trying to get back home as well as helping his new Hell friends.
Another change that is added to this remake, is that Lincoln's sisters and later his parents will know that Lincoln has been sent somewhere rather than trying to find them. I plan to include them in some chapters that'll show them trying to locate Lincoln and thanks to the vision that Lucy showed her sisters, they'll soon discover where Lincoln has been sent to.
When it comes to the songs, for the original chapters like the first two chapters, some will have parody songs, instrumental songs for moments/montages, or just no songs at all.
As for when the next chapter will come out, I'm planning to release each chapter a month or two apart from one another. If you're lucky, some chapters might be released earlier if I finish them sooner.
