(The story begins with a tornado warning being heard on the radio)
Announcer:This is an emergency alert. A freak storm ismoving towards the city. Citizens are advised to stay in.
Launchpad:(Taking pictures)Haha, yes! Wait till the followers of my extreme weather blog see this.
(Through the camera lens,multiple things are seenflying around the tornado then a hot air balloon comes into view)
Launchpad: What the?
(Launchpad zooms in and sees a man in the hot air balloon.)
Launchpad: Oh, no.
(Scene goes to the Disney Channel studios and Dipper is getting everyone into the basement.)
Dipper: (Using megaphone) Okay everybody, this is not a drill. The tornado is gonna hit us in minutes, go, go, go!
Star and Luz: (Come around the corner) Wait up!
Dipper: (Using megaphone) Whoa, you girls actually got the emergency supplies?
Luz: We got every kind of pizza pouch son!
Star: Pepperoni pizza pouch, sausage pizza pouch, pepperoni sausage pizza pouch.
Dipper: All you brought were pizza pouches?!
Star: Well, yeah. Check this out though, tornado ready pizza pouch.
Dipper: I'll yell at you later. Now get in!
(The hot air balloon is seen crashing into the trees and theperson is seenfalling to the ground)
Dipper: Oh my gosh!
(Dipper and Luz run to the guy)
Scrooge (2017): Hey, what's going on?
Star: Someone just ate it in the trees!
(Star and Scrooge (2017) run to help Dipper and Luz.)
Dipper: Lift!
(They lift the man, before bringinghim into the basement and close the basement doors)
Scrooge (2017): Spread out, spread out!
(They set the guy down and Star pulls the hat up; it reveals that the guy is a duck, he is completely lookalike of Scrooge (2017), but much younger. Scrooge gasps in shock and disbelief and goes up to him)
Marcy: Scrooge, who is that young rapscallion?
Scrooge (2017): It's me.
(Everyone gasps and the lights go out; Scene goes to later when the tornado passes and the Studios is wrecked from the storm)
Cricket: So you're classic Scrooge from the 19th century?
Scrooge (1987): Tis true, .
Dipper:How did you get here?
Scrooge (1987):I was with my friend Launchpad, and we were engaging in my favourite pastime. Stormchasing.
(A flshback begins with a storm and a tornado is being approached by two hot air balloons.)
Scrooge (1987):(laughs) What a thril!
Launchpad:(drawing the tornado) Wait'll the readers of my bog book see this!
Scrooge (1987): Launchpad! Tis' unfortunate to be your log book, I'm flying closer to the tornado, or my name isn't Scrooge McDuck! Tally ho! (flies into the tornado)
Launchpad:Mr. Mcd, no! You are a novice! (echoes)
(flashback ends)
Scrooge (1987):"You are a novice!" And that's the last thing I remember.
Scrooge (2017):I don't know how you're here, but if we don't return you to the past, a whole chain of events will never happen.
Scrooge (1987):What are you on about?
Scrooge (2017):In the years after the balloon incident, you meet my nephew, yadda yadda yadda, you go on the adventure in Duckburg and spoiler alert. If you're here, that never happens. In 24 hours, time is gonna catch up to me and I'll age rapidly and die! (to Star and Luz) Eh, don't you girls have a time machine?
Luz: Sorry Scrooge I don't have a Time Machine in the the boiling isles.
Star: I do have it in Mewi but Omnitraxus Prime don't let me used Father Time Time Machine.
(Cricket is reading a newspaper.)
Scrooge (2017):How about you, Cricket? You tend to know a guy.
(Cricket yawns.)
Cricket:Yeah, I know a guy with time machines. He's real good. His dad basically invented 'em.
Dipper:Alright, so what are we waiting for?
Cricket:You got cash?
Dipper:I'll do you one better.
(Dipper shows Cricket a cheque book.)
(Cricket and Phineas walk out with Dipper)
Scrooge (2017):Alright! You guys go, we'll keep an eye on Classic Scrooge.
Scrooge (1987):This grows tiresome. What's say we have a bit of fun? You there, what do you enjoy doing?
Scrooge (2017):I like to read.
(He hands Scrooge (1987) a book. It's called Upkeep and Repair of Phonographs.)
Scrooge (1987):Ugh. Whatever events led me to be such a bore I hope to never find out.
(He spits on the book and hands it back.)
Star:Hey, lay off! New Scrooge is cool!
Luz:Yeah, you should see the work he does!
Scrooge (1987):Work?
Scrooge (2017):General upkeep, repairs, landscaping, manual labour, helping people around the Studios.
(Scrooge (1987) suddenly gets up.)
Scrooge (1987):Helping people? I'll never help people.
(He starts running off.)
Scrooge (1987) (continued): Scrooge McDuck never helps people!
(Scrooge (2017) blocks the doorway.)
Scrooge (2017):You can't leave!
Scrooge (1987):Why do you arrest me so?
Scrooge (2017):If you learn too much about our time, you could alter history.
Scrooge (1987):Nonsense.
(He tries to go through, but Scrooge (2017) still blocks him.)
Scrooge (1987) (continued):Release me!
Scrooge (2017):It's for your own good!
Scrooge (1987):You be not my father!
(He gives up.)
Scrooge (1987) (continued):To think I should turn into you. A doddering old fool with no sense of adventure.
(Scrooge (2017) winces for a bit.)
Scrooge (2017):It's okay, you can't help being like this. You'll grow out of it one day.
(Scrooge (1987) just spits, shrugging it off. He goes over to Star and Luz, who are playing a video game.)
Scrooge (1987):Hey there, chaps. Pray tell, uh, what are doing?
Star:Playing video games.
(He holds up the game called "Hot Air Balloonerz 5000".)
Scrooge (1987):My word!
(He sits down next to them.)
Star:Yeah, man. Give it a try.
(He gives Scrooge (1987) the controller. Scrooge (1987) starts playing the game.)
Scrooge (1987):Unbelievable! This device...is it powered by hot air as well?
(Luz takes out a pizza pouch.)
Luz:Totally. Here, slam one of these.
(Scrooge (1987) is given the pizza pouch. He opens and begins eating it.)
Scrooge (1987):Tally-hooooooo! This is the future I can get behind!
(We pan over to Marcy and Scrooge (2017). Scrooge (2017) groans.)
Marcy:Are you alright?
(Scrooge (2017) covers his face.)
Scrooge (2017):Uh, yeah. I'll be fine.
(When he uncovers his face, it has aged. Marcy screams at this.)
Scrooge (2017) (continued):What?
(Marcy takes out her mirror and shows it like a mirror. Scrooge (2017) sees his reflection.)
Scrooge (2017) (continued): Oh, no! The timeline is catching up.
(Cricket, Phineas and Dipper return.)
Cricket:No go, guys. Turns out my boy went back in time and bumped into his dad, and then his parents never met. I guess he faded from existence or something. You know how it goes.
Marcy:Now what do we do?
(Star and Luz appear through the hallway.)
Star:We've got some ideas.
Luz:Yeah, we can order one. It only takes six weeks to ship. Or was is six months?
Star:I've heard good thing about the Bermuda Triangle.
Scrooge (2017):No, no! The only way is to catch up to the storm. Send him back the way he came.
Luz:I was totally about to suggest that.
Star:Yeah. Let's do that.
Scrooge (2017):It's impossible without state-of-the-art stormchasing equipment.
Marcy:Oh, I've got some.
(She holds it up.)
Scrooge (2017):No. There's only one person who has what we need, and I don't even know if he still chases storms.
(Launchpad opens the door.)
Launchpad:Did you see it?
Scrooge (1987 and 2017): Launchpad!
Launchpad:When I saw the balloon, I knew to come here.
(He replays the scene from the camera on his arm.)
Launchpad (continued):Oh no, Scrooge' balloon. I need to go to the studios.
Star:So you know about the tornado?
Scrooge:Timenado. I was with classic Scrooge when he caught in the 1900s.
(He projects a screen.)
Launchpad (continued):It was the baddest storm we ever chased. And now it's back.
Luz:You're a technomancer and a storm chaser?
Launchpad:Yes.
Luz:Could you be any cooler?
Launchpad:Does having a panini maker in my arm answer your question?
(He reveals it.)
Luz:Uh huh.
Launchpad:There'll be plenty more time to compliment me later. We got a timenado to catch.
Star, Luz, Scrooge (1987 and 2017) and Launchpad:Tallyhoooo!
(Cut to outside. Cricket, Phineas, Kevin, Marcy and Dipper wave as theDelereanDMC-12takes off toward the timenado with Star, Luz, Scrooge (1987 and 2017) and Launchpad inside.)
Scrooge (1987):What matter of carriage is this? Where have you hidden the horses?
Star:Uh, it's a secret.
(Behind her and Luz, Scrooge (2017)' chair turns around. He falls to the ground, stable and still aging.)
Star, Luz, Launchpad and Scrooge (1987): Scrooge!
(Star, Luz and Scrooge (1987) go to him.)
Launchpad: Star, I need you to take the console.
(Star does so. Luz and Scrooge (1987) continue to support him.)
Luz:Dude, he's fading.
Launchpad:Talk to him!
Scrooge (1987):Uhh, stop dying, you old fool!
(Scrooge (2017) groans.)
Launchpad:Uh, Mr. Mcd, remember we had an epic sledgehammer battle?
(Scrooge (2017) laughs weakly.)
Scrooge (1987):What? Did that really happen?
Star:How about when you defeated Glomgold with the Fists of Justice?
Scrooge (2017):Yeah, that was awesome.
Luz:Or, or, when you saved our skins by being mind-blowing ly heroic? Which is like, every day.
Scrooge (1987):Huh. Perhaps you aren't as meek as I thought.
(He pats Scrooge (2017).)
Scrooge (1987) (continued):Eh, nice work.
(Scrooge (2017) smiles and closes his eyes. Star is looking through the radar.)
Star: Launchpad, it's moving into delta quadrant!
Launchpad:Roger.
(He takes a right turn.)
Launchpad (continued):Talk to me.
Star:North east!
(Launchpad drives off the road and on the shore. Luz, Scrooge (2017) and Scrooge (1987) scream. Launchpad eventually gets back onto the road.)
Launchpad:Timenado visual confirmed!
Star, Luz, Star, Luz, Scrooge (1987 and 2017):Whooooaaa.
(They approach the timenado. We see a closeup of it, panning from bottom to top. Many objects are revolving around the timenado. Launchpad swerves his car as some objects nearly hit him. It is now ahead of the timenado.)
Launchpad:Proceed with Phase 2.
(Star pushes a button, causing the car's boot to burst open, revealing a hot-air balloon. The sunroof is also open.)
Launchpad:Alright, Classic Mcd! Once you're in your balloon, Star and Luz ease you into the core of the timenado! You'll find a portal home there!
(As Launchpad says this, Scrooge (1987) listens while Star and Luz put up a ladder for the balloon, the former climbing up through the sunroof. Scrooge (1987) approaches the near-ending Scrooge (2017).)
Scrooge (1987):Scrooge, I can tell that living our life will be the greatest adventure of all.
Scrooge (2017):You just gotta...(inhales)meet the right girl.
(Scrooge (1987) smiles and pats Scrooge (2017) before heading off. He bumps into a box of pizza pouches that tumble out. He licks his lips at the sight. Cut to Star and Luz at the balloon. Walks comes climbing through the sunroof.)
Star: Scrooge! What took ya?
Scrooge (1987):Nothin'!
(He runs into the hot air balloon, his arm over his jacket. Star notices this.)
Star:Hey! Do you have something under your jacket?
Scrooge (1987):Art thou a judge? Am I on trial here?
(A pizza pouch falls out of his jacket. Luz gasps.)
Luz: Hey! Our pizza pouches!
(Star and Luz jump into the balloon. Luz puts down the control.)
Luz:Hand 'em over and nobody gets-
(Scrooge (1987) punches her, causing her elbow to hit the "release" button, releasing the balloon, connected to a wire with Star, Luz and Scrooge (1987) on it as it flies around the Timenado. Launchpad notices an error.)
Launchpad:What the...
Car Voice:Auto-pilot.
(Launchpad runs out of his seat as Scrooge (2017) gasps weakly, then Launchpad jumps out of his car and sees the balloon flying around the Timenado)
Launchpad:What a mess!
(A viking boat falls and gets tangled up with the wire as Walks touches the lever to make the balloon go higher. Launchpad draws out his sword, hops on the viking boat and cuts the wire off, making the balloon go into the Timenado as Launchpad's car stops. As balloon gets inside the Timenado, a giant crystal at the center of the Timenado creates portals through time.)
Scrooge (1987):Look!(Points to a portal to the 1900s where Launchpad is on his hot air balloon looking for Scrooge (1987).)
Launchpad:Mr. Mcd! Mr. Mcd!(sees Scrooge (1987) Mr. Mcd!
Scrooge (1987):Let's go!
(A Great Sphinx head hits the balloon, causing to knock Scrooge (1987) off, but Star and Luz grab him as the 1900s portal is slowly closing)
Launchpad:We don't have much time! Hurry!
(Star and Luz swing Walks to the portal, sending him through the portal back to the 1900s and Scrooge (1987) lands on Launchpad's hot air balloon as the portal closes. Scrooge (2017) returns to normal age.)
Scrooge:Can this thing fly?
Launchpad:Does this answer your question?
(Launchpad presses the "yes" button as his car flys to the Timenado to save Star and Luz, who are still in it. As Star and Luz hang on to Scrooge (1987)' hot air balloon, a portal opens to reveal third street school as the recess gangs walk by and notice it.)
T.J: Check out this portal, guys. It looks like our future replacements.
Gretchen: Including to my calculations It's look like some kind of Timenado.
Star:It's the cast of Recess!
Luz:No! Anything but that!
(Launchpad's car flies into the Timenado as Star and Luz are about to be sucked into the portal, but Scrooge saves them and the car flies back to the Studios. Star and Luz get out of the car.)
Scrooge:Thanks, Launchpad.
Launchpad:Hey, now we're even.
(Scrooge gets out of the car as Launchpad drives off as the techno remix of "Yankee Doodle" plays briefly before the car disappears.)
Marcy:Everyone, Scrooge is back!
(She, Dipper, Cricket, Phineas and Kevin run up to Scrooge)
Marcy:Thank goodness you're alright.
Dipper:Good to have you back, Scrooge.(Shakes Scrooge' hand)
Cricket:Don't go almost dying on me again, bro.
Scrooge:Eh, I'll see what I can do.(as Star and Luz are about to walk away)Star and Luz, come with me.
(We cut time McDuck Manor' where Scrooge opens his attic with ladders come out of it and they climb up the attic.)
Scrooge:Uh, let me get the light.(Turns on the light to reveal ancient artifacts from his travels around the world)
Star and Luz:Whoa!
Star: Scrooge, this is incredible. You kept mementos from all of your adventures?
Scrooge:Yeah. But this one's for you girls.
(Hands over a picture to Star and Luz to see a photo of Scrooge (1987) and his 1987 nephew Huey, Dewey and Louie eating pizza pouches and writing that says "Thanks Star and Luz. Tally-ho!".)
