Adrien stood in line, waiting to order for himself….and Marinette. Last night, he'd seen a movie where the guy wrote down his number on the coffee cup and the girl accepted. At the end of the movie they were married. Though Adrien didn't expect a proposal, he hoped Marinette liked her surprise.
"Um, one hazelnut latte and one Pike Place Roast, please. Oh, and, uh, throw in two chocolate muffins." "Got a sweet tooth, huh?" the barista asked as Adrien scanned his card. "More like a sweet secret crush." Face turning pink, he fled into the crowd.
Once he received the food and drinks, he drew out his sharpie, the pen squeaking as he wrote down his number with "Call Me!" Adrien smiled. Heh, she wouldn't be able to resist. But what was missing? Oh! A small heart! Now, it was perfect.
Marinette was already at school, tongue peeking out onto her upper lip as she embroidered a new project. Catnip, she was cute. Where the drinks getting hotter or was it him?
"Um, Marinette?" Adrien set down the cup and muffin on her desk. "I brought you Starbucks this morning." Oh, his face was burning red. Add some black dots and he'd look like a ladybug.

Before Marinette could answer, Adrien heard a annoying but familiar voice coming from the doorway.
"Oh, Adrikins!" Adrien froze. No, no, no! Before he knew he was doing it, Adrien leaped into Marinette's lap. "Looks like you and I are going to be desk buddies, Marinette," Adrien grinned at her, as now it was Marinette to look like a tomato.
Chole groaned, as her stomach connected with the desk instead of her target, Adrien.
Marinette grinned. "No problem, Adrien. For you, I will gladly be your human shield!"
