"I can't get in touch with Todoroki!" said Iida. "Seriously?! After he insisted he'd go bring those troublemakers back to safety!"
"Seems like he's out of range of our communications," said Tsu.
"We should head over there too, shouldn't we?" I started, but I heard a hero screaming "Whoa, hold on! Wait? What is the news talking about!? What's happening to this country!?"
"Please turn it up!" said Iida.
"There's - bzzt - within the nearby vicinities - please begin to evacuate immediately - I repeat there is currently an enormous villain heading northward through Wakayama prefecture and gunga prefecture in a straight path from Kyoto to Jaku. These are the following cities he's expected to pass throguh: Mino City, Carkoon City, Nevarro city, Hando city, mos City, HOris City, Calamari City, Synara City, Hao City, Ciro city..."
"Weren't nearly all the heroes assigned to this mission?" I asked.
In the distance...
Thump.- thump -
"Leave the instruction of the Jaku City residents to the rescue teams and police! The heroes will now be engaging with the villain! Ourpriority is now rescuing civilians as well as halting the enemy's advance! Those who are occupied with Shigaraki will not be aware of this situation! We cannot reach out to them due to the jammed signal! Please inform them on foot! Let's go! As fast as we can! To save even one more life!"
The situation isn't improving at all. Ever since that day, when the League of Villains came...it's like when the sun sets and the shadows stretch even further.
"The giant villain is in sight! He's fast! Hurry up with the evacuation!" came the instructions over the comm. "Run away perpendicular from his path! There're still citizens inside these buildings! Split up and rescue em!"
"Two more over here, Uravity!" Tsu called out to me from the nearest building.
"Got it!" I called, floating up to her - but debris was falling her way!
"Froppy!" I shouted!
I shot out my wrist guards and pulled her and the civilians away from teh building.
"Sorry for the rough handling!" I shouted back.
"That did the trick, thanks!" said Tsu.
"Hey, you two! I need help!" called an old woman from below.
"My husband's bedridden! And he's too heavy for me to carry!"
I could see the buildings falling nearby. I hurried after her. "Our place is down here, hurry!" she shouted.
"Get those two to safety, Froppy!" I called to Tsu.
"Ok! Be. careful! CAn't have you getting hurt!" she told me.
We gotta save everyone we can...I thought as I floated along after her, as she ran towards her home.
"My poor Takeo!" she was shouting.
She's so fast for an old woman. "Those legs of yours sure can move, ma'am!"
"The strength of my legs is thanks to Takeo's love!" she shouted.
That's so sweet, I thought. Love can be such a powerful thing...
Mina loves to tease me about liking Deku...but I've never moved that way for him...never moved faster just to save him...
Focus, focus!
"He'll be ok, because I'm gonna save him!" I shouted after her.
I came around the corner -
The old woman had vanished.
Standing in her place was a young, naked, beautiful girl my own age, with golden eyes and spiked pigt-
"You will?!" she asked.
I gasped.
"Himiko - Toga!?"
She smiled at me, slipping around a corner and into an abandoned house.
"It's been forever, Ochaco."
"Wait..." I called, running into the house after her -
I couldn't see her, and it was dark.
"I was hoping to chat with Tsuyu too," her voice came, as I started sweating. I was alone - fighting a member of the League of Villains - in teh dark - Focus!
"Because Tsuyu's my cute and precious friend. And with Izuku. I love him when he's all beat up, which is like, always! He's so cool! I love how cute you are too, Ochaco. I wanna be just like you. So you gtta tell me...
And she'd leapt from nowhere, knife in hand, and tackled me to the ground.
"What do you wanna do to me?"
Her face was inches from mine...she was smiling, as if with sheer pleasure. It was that same smile that had popped into my head when I thought about being happy - that wild, completely happy grin. And those golden eyes, all lit up with a passion I didn't know how to explain.
The old woman - she must have copied her -
"You stole that old woman's blooda nd killed her just to ask me a quesiton like that!?" I snapped. She looked surprised. "Just to -"
I remembered it again - how I'd told Aizawa sensei about Sir - everything that had happened then.
"Listen, I'm trying to save every life I can right now! Understand, Himiko Toga?! If you get in my way, then I'm gonna stop you right here, right now!"
