It wasn't long before word of Max and Lisa's engagement reached to their families and friends. They invited them to come a party at their house to celebrate it. Most of them arrived and they congratulated Max and Lisa for getting engaged and showed their approval for their marriage. The only people who didn't come to the party was Lisa's family. The only way they communicated with her after she sent them an invitation to her house to celebrate her and Max's engagement was when they wrote a letter to her saying not only would they not be going to their party but also saying how much they strongly disapproved of her engagement to Max and insisted that she went back to live with them in Philadelphia and marry a man that they thought she should marry, not who she wanted to marry. That letter upset her a lot, but it never put her off for wanting to marry Max and over time she got over it. It was easier now that it had been a whole year since she was finally free of them and she felt that she didn't need their approval anymore, let alone care about it. Goofy and Sylvia's approval for her to marry their son was good enough for her and him and so was the approval of all their friends. Besides, Lisa never wanted to invite her family because she knew that they would only behave very badly as they always did, but she also knew she would only get into more trouble if she didn't. And she was glad they didn't come to her engagement party because they would only drain the happiness of the party and make everyone miserable.

During the engagement party, Max and Lisa also invited their guests to also be guests for their actual wedding day. Max asked PJ to be his best man and Bobby to be a groomsman. They both were very honored to be asked to do those responsibilities for their best friend and they gladly accepted them. Lisa asked Chloe to be her maid of honor and some of her best friends from the University of Pennsylvania to be her bridesmaids. They were very honored to be asked to do those responsibilities for her and they accepted them. Then Max and Lisa went to his godchildren and their parents and asked them if Penelope, Sabrina and Regina could be flower girls and Patrick could be a junior groomsman. The kids all wanted to do those things because they were very fond of their Uncle Max and their Auntie Lisa, which was what they called her every time they saw her even though she wasn't their godmother and Max was their godfather, and their parents gave them permission to do so. Max and Lisa asked Hannah if she wanted to be a flower girl. She wanted to be one and Goofy and Sylvia allowed it to happen.

Max and Lisa decided to wait for a whole year to get married so they could plan their wedding properly and make it the very best one they possibly could instead of trying to rush things. Even though deep down they were very excited about their wedding and they really wanted to get married as soon as possible, the good news was that their patience paid off in the end.

Max and Lisa hired wedding planner Minnie Mouse and her friends who made Goofy and Sylvia's wedding a massive success during Spring Break 2004. They repeated their success for Max and Lisa's wedding. Minnie arranged everything perfectly and her friends did their jobs perfectly too. Daisy Duck once again chose the perfect suits for Max, PJ, Bobby and Patrick and the perfect wedding dress for Lisa, the perfect maid of honor dress for Chloe, the perfect bridesmaids dresses for Lisa's other bridesmaids and the perfect flower girl dresses for the flower girls. Clara Cluck once again arranged the perfect flowers, Clarabelle Cow once again arranged the perfect food and photographer Horace Horsecollar started to get everything he needed to get ready to take the perfect wedding photos for the wedding.

While all this was happening, Max was busy arranging his bachelor trip with PJ and Bobby, Lisa was busy arranging her bachelorette trip with Chloe and Max and Lisa were busy working out where to go for their honeymoon after their wedding. After doing a lot of research, it was the Maldives that they agreed to go to. They were looking forward to it as much as they were for their actual wedding.

It was Spring 2005 when Max had his bachelor trip and Lisa had her bachelorette trip. Both trips took place on the same weekend and their friends came to pick them up and take them to their destinations on Friday evening.

PJ and Bobby took Max to Salt Lake City for his bachelor trip and they had a very fun one over there. They enjoyed the small hotel they stayed at, they enjoyed exploring Salt Lake City and seeing many of its amazing places, including the Big Cottonwood Canyon, the Natural History Museum of Utah, the Clark Planetarium, the Place Heritage Park and Great Salt Lake among them, and they enjoyed eating and drinking at many of its incredible cafes and restaurants. Max's bachelor trip was a complete success and PJ and Bobby did a great job arranging everything. Nothing could have gone any better.

Lisa was taken to Las Vegas by Chloe and her bridesmaids for her bachelorette trip and they had a great one. They stayed at Ceaser's Palace and they enjoyed their rooms, especially the one Lisa and Chloe shared together. And they had a lot of fun exploring Las Vegas, including seeing the Fountains of Bellagio, the Fremont Street Experience, the Las Vegas Strip and the Stratosphere Tower, eating and drinking at many of its cafes and restaurants, trying out its many casinos and seeing many live shows among them. They also had a lot of fun outside of Las Vegas, including going to see the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam among them. Chloe did a great job arranging Lisa's amazing bachelorette trip. Nothing could have gone better.

It was very late on Monday night when both Max and Lisa came back home to Spring Falls after their very fun trips. They were both very tired after their fun, but they were also very happy to see each other again and they enjoyed telling each other about their amazing trips and showing them all the photos taken of them before they went to bed. They also weren't too tired to make out with each other while they were in bed because that was how much they missed each other.
