"And you never did come home, until much later on that is," said Snow White before taking a sip of some tea that had been served while talking.

"Wow, you were really mad," said Apple.

"I was," said Snow White.

"Then what changed?" asked Apple.

"I saved her life is what happened," said Raven as she walked into the room, moving so she was sitting on the arm of Apple's chair and smiling down at her.

"To which I still can't thank you enough," said Snow White.

"So, what did you save her from?" asked Apple.

"It was a crazy and stormy night, the castle had been struck by lightning and caught on fire," said Raven while thinking back.

"I still can't reach my mother," said Apple as she and Raven stood in their dorm room, a storm raging outside the windows with rain beating against the glass and lightning streaking the sky.

"What if she's still inside the castle?" she asked, her attention going to her mirrortop which had a report on a fire at Snow White's castle.

"Don't worry, Nevermore and I will go check on her," said Raven.

"Please be careful, I can't lose both of you," said a worried Apple. She then kissed the witch before Raven and her dragon left through the balcony.

"Whoa, these winds are strong," said Raven before putting up a barrier around the two of them.

"Alright, straight towards the castle," she said. Once she had arrived, the young witch found the place engulfed in flames.

"She's on the third floor, get me to the closest window," said Raven as she used her magic in her eyes to scan the building, noticing a small purple light on the mentioned floor. Nevermore then flew closer to the building, right next to a window that had not been broken.

"Sorry for the rudeness," she thought before jumping through the window with a barrier around herself to shield her from the glass and flames.

"Don't worry, Queen Snow White, I'm here to save you!" yelled Raven while rushing to the room where the royal was laying on the ground.

"Ra… Raven," said Queen Snow White before she blacked out.
