"Why...am I staring at my legs so much? I mean they're nice but...hehe." The girl in the bed giggled. She got off and started getting ready for the day.

This girl was none other than Hinata Nagumo, your average everyday highschool girl. Well...maybe not average.

After she showered and put on her school uniform, she went to the living room, where a certain someone was there, who had prepared her breakfast.

"Hey sweetie." There he was, H̵̥͔̀ ̴̼̂̌d̷̢͔͎̰̆ ̶̗̂ͅů̸̧͈̝͓̚c̶̭̟̋ ̶̘̪̼̃̉a̴̻̱̖͊̾̽͠ ̶͈̮͂͐̍̂͝t̵̘͈̪͇̬̋̒̒̄g̸̨̡̤̩̔̓͜͝ Nagumo, her father.

Once she saw him, she suddenly felt something...weir-

"What's wrong?"

"Huh? Oh, nothing Dad. Breakfast smells great." Hinata quickly sat down.

"Only the best for my daughter." He walks out of the kitchen, breakfast in hand. Then Hinata saw it, her father's prosthetics, he lost it in an accident that neither of them liked talking about it.

But even with that, and even after becoming a widow when his wife passed away, he works hard as contractor for himself and his daughter. He makes enough for them to live in this great apartment complex, along with food, clothing, and school tuition.

After eating breakfast, Hinata grabs her school bag heads to the door. "Bye Dad, love you."

"Love you too sweetie."

And so she steps outside, feeling the wind and sunlight in her face, Along with crashing onto the stomach of a grown man.

"Oof." She tumbles to the ground

"Oh no, are you ok?!" The man concernedly asked.

She starts to get up. "Yeah yeah, I'm fine...Meld." The man she bumped into was none other than Meld Loggins, who is her neighbor and gym teacher at school.

The man was obviously a foreigner, judging solely from his name. But for whatever reason, here he is in Japan, teaching physical education. Considering they're in the same school and living in the same apartment complex, it's no surprise that they would eventually interact. They surprisingly got along well, Hinata was a gifted student that made Meld proud. And Meld's caring nature made him feel like a second father figure to Hinata.

"Are you sure you're ok?"

"For the last time I'm fine. And Dad is on the other side of the door you know." Hinata still remembered the time her Dad and Meld glared at each other for houurs, the two cared for Hinata a lot and that is why they would fight for her.

"Hahaha. I can take him on. Now come on, you don't want to be late to school do you?"

Hinata and Meld walked up to the school gates. Nothing was out of the ordinary, until suddenly...

Meld jumps away grabbing Hinata, dodging an incoming limo. Once the limo stop, the most back window rolls down, showing a blonde haired man, who looked a bit disappointed. "So close."

"Dammit Akira, this the seventh time this happened!" Meld angrily yelled. The handsome man stepping out of the limo was none other than Akira. He was a foreign exchange student, who after seeing Hinata, claims that it was love at first sight.

Imagine the school's surprise when he confessed his feelings to Hinata, who was known to be hardcore otaku and the scariest girl in class. If it weren't for her intelligence and perfect grades, the school might not have kept her.

But of course, the bigger surprise was when Hinata instantly rejected Akira's confession without a hint of mercy.

"Well that is what you get for being so close with my beloved."

""I'm/She's not your beloved!"" Hinata and Meld refuted.

"Meld, if you wish to make up for it, you will tell me where Hinata's address is." He has tried to find out before, but Hinata had always managed to block any investigator he hires and always evades the ones that try to follow her home.

Yup, this was her life.

"Would you back off!" Hinata was currently fending off Akira while heading to class. Unfortunately, Meld had to go to the faculty office. So he couldn't defend her from Akira's hug attempts.

Hinata finally reaches the classroom door. After she opened it, she immediately ducked causing whatever flew out of it crashed into Akira.

"Hinata chann- Wait! Akira?!" The blue haired boy on top on Akira was named Shu Haulia. He and his family came here from the country. They didn't know how dangerous city life can be. So it was a good thing Meld and Hinata ran into them when they were getting mugged and saved them. Shu has been attached to Hinata ever since. And Hinata has been trying to un-attach him.

"Hinataaaa, why did you dodge?" The boy whined.

"Of course I dodged, idiot."

"Yeah, she only wants to be cuddled by me."

"YOU'RE NOT HELPING!"

"Hey, don't forget about us." A new voice came in. They turn around to see two individuals with balck hair. "Hinata is going to be my sister in law." The girl proudly declared.

"Y-Yeah, I'm gonna win her heart!" The boy shakily stated. The pair of twins were Kaori and Seiji Shirarsaki, the most popular siblings in school and friends of Hinata.

Seiji had somehow developed feelings for Hinata. Though he's quite meek, he has been able to express his feelings with alot of encouragement from his sister. But of course Hinata rejected him just like Shu and Akira.

After their little scuffle, they went into class. Where they had english taught by...Tio, also known as the masochist.

Tio had been a renowned teacher, until his sudden change to having an urge of being hurt and insulted. Rumors say that Hinata had something to do with it, because before he became a masochist the last thing he did was try to discipline Hinata, Hinata has refused to disclose what happened and simply fight off Tio's advances on her, which unfortunately feeds his masochistic nature.

But despite all that, there are still times when she would actually willingly hang out with all of these people. Turns out int the times where they act line normal friends, Hinata immensely enjoys their time together, though she would never say it out loud.

After another hectic day, Hinata covertly exits school. She would have gone home immediately, but she made to make one stop first...at a kindergarten.

"Mama!"

Hinata stares at the small bright blue hair child in front of her, who had been waiting in front of the kindergarten. She then started to walk away. "Walk yourself home."

"Wait, I'm sorry!" The boy cried while chasing Hinata. This boy was known as Moku, he was the son of Rome, one of Hinata's neighbors. He and Hinata's dad had gotten along well, sharing the fact that they were both widowed, single fathers.

The two of them struck a deal, Where Hinata would pick Moku up and babysit for some cash. Moku was fond of Hinata, which made him refer to her as "Mama" from time to time. And in return that made her less fond of him, she was only willing to tolerate to be called "big sister" at best. All in all, she takes good care of Moku.

After Rome picked Moku up, that only leaves Hinata with one more event for the day, dinner with her dad.

"So how was school honey?"

"The usual, I needed to fight off four charming boys who had the hots for me."

"That's my girl. Anything else?"

"I honestly don't know why anyone would like to have a harem. It only got me four weirdos in my life, not to mention how most of the girls want to tear me apart for hogging all the eye candies."

"Hehe. Well it's nothing you can't handle, and if you do get in trouble, you can count on your old man."

"You're gonna beat up a bunch a teenagers for me?"

"Of course. Anything for my little girl."

"Stop calling me that."

"But you are little and a girl." He teased.

"Hey! Hahahaha."

The two of them were laughing out loud. The fact that she hangs out with so many foreigners makes her feel as if her life was some sort of manga. It was always so...eventful.

This quiet moment with her dad, it was the part she looked forward to the most...So why was she crying?

"Something wrong Hinata?" Her father asked while still smiling.

"Yeah *hic* I just...think I'm done with dinner."

She knew.

"You sure? You could stay you know."

"No. I need to go."

She knew since this morning.

Her father simply watched as Hinata walks to the balcony and steps onto the railing. She looks at the street below. She knew...this wasn'treal.

"Hey...not real dad."

"Yes?"

As tears ran down her face, Hinata's clothes suddenly transform from pajamas into her usual attire. And her legs are now made of azanthium.

"Thanks for saving me."

"Always, my dear."

Hinata leans forward, letting her fall to her should be doomed. But just as she was about hit the ground...

"You passed." A quiet voice whispered in her head. And then everything went black.

Hinata gasped as her eyes quickly opened. She immediately got up and saw that she had been lying down on some kind of coffin. Getting up, she finds herself in some weird room

"You're awake."

Hinata turns to find Meld, not one in a tracksuit and wearing a whistle, but one that's wearing the armor that she made.

She takes a look at her dark surroundings, she other coffins lined up in a circle. One was empty and the rest was covered by some sort of amber glass.

"I'm guessing you experienced the same thing I did?" Hinata nods her head.

"...Do you want to talk about it?" Hinata shakes her head.

"I understand. It's odd that something so beautiful can cause so much grief." He and Hinata each blushed while looking away in awkwardness. "Just so you know, Akira, Tio, and Ryutaro have turned back to normal in their coffins."

"Cool...so...guess we can be sure about the theme now." Hinata tried breaking the ice while getting out of the coffin.

Meld cleared his throat. "Y-Yeah...it's bonds."

"In the first part, we needed to figure out which of our allies were fake and which monster they turned into." If it weren't for Hinata, they would've been killed by those doppelgangers. Or worse, they could've killed Akira, Tio, and Ryutaro, and never realized it.

"And now we had to remember who our friends really are, instead of the ones in our dreams."

"...And I taught Melusine was dark." Hinata grimly thought about what she had witnessed.

Of course it had to be that man. She grips her arm while frowning harder. Until Meld pulls her closer and gives her a sympathetic look.

She nudges closer to him, she then remembers he probably did go through something like what she experienced. Being with everyone, a regular happy life, and finally, past horrors...evade-

PSSSHH

Meld and Hinata pushed each other away after hearing the noise. They looked at the coffins and saw that one of them had it's amber glass seeped into it's walls. And the person inside wakes up.

"Akira."

The now normal vampire drowsily wakes at and looks at the two. "Hinata...Meld...Are you the real ones?" They both nodded. Hinata walks over and smacks him.

Despite the pain, Akira felt relieved. "It is you..."

"Rough dream?

"Yes...My race was still alive, Hinata was my bride, you were my own knight, Hinata and I had eleven childre-"

"ELEVEN?!" Hinata asked in disbelief. "The real dream was thinking you can pay that kind of child support." Meld playfully laughed as he holds Hinata back.

"But no matter how wonderful it was, I just knew something was wrong."

"We know how you feel, to get a taste of such joy only to realize that it was fake."

"Yeah...what were yours like?"

"None of your business!" Hinata instantly replied.

"Mine...was a little simple. You all worked for Heiligh, maintaining peace for the kingdom under the rule of a very not dead king Eliheid." Meld explained.

"I see."

As the two of them of smiled. Hinata leered at Meld, she can tell he was honest...but not completely, he was definitely looking at her in an odd way. Soon the others woke up. First there was Shu, who dreamt himself with his non dead tribe and his party. Having no battles and just living a quiet happy life in the forest.

The next to awaken was Tio, who immediately rushed to Hinata after he saw her. The only thing Tio said was of how it wasn't "good" enough. They had no idea what Tio had dreamt, but they knew that they did not want to know.

The last member of their original party finally woke up. Seiji didn't utter a single word, he just kept blushing and covering his face. The next was Kaori, which was no surprise Hinata.

Kaori didn't reveal what her dream was, but she did say it was a "romance writer's dream". After which, Hinata told everyone not to ask any follow up question.

After that, they had just resting and waiting for hours until-

"Aaaaaaaannd that's strike three." Hinata stood readying a fist. "Once again, they have failed." She goes to one of the still sealed coffin. "I knew this was a bad idea."

Just as she was about to punch the coffin.

"Wait!" Kaori grabs her arm. "Please, give them more time." Kaori begged.

"Kaori."

"If I made it out, so can they. If you don't believe in their strength than at least believe in their-"

PSSSH

The coffin in front of them opened and the person inside woke up.

"Ahhhh...where's...Kaori?"

"Shizuku!" Kaori hugs the groggy swordmaster. "Oh thank goodness, I knew you could do it. I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!"

"So that was the next test. What about the others?"

"My guys woke up hours ago. " Hinata answered. "Your guys are still sleeping and being useless, but lucky for them, you got them a couple of hours."

"So what did you see? Come on, spill."

"Huh?! Oh I wa- Uhm." Shizuku was fumbling her words. "I-I was just...living my regular peaceful life with all of my friends."

"Aww is that it?" Kaori pouted. "But were you an adult?" But she bounced right back. "Did you get married?"

"What?!" Shizuku blushed. "N-No, I was still in highschool with you and our classmates and..." Shizuku freezes when she saw Hinata looking at her, and she remembers what Hinata can do.

Hinata saw it and knows what Shizuku is thinking and so she decides to pinch her fingers and slide it over her mouth, mimicking a zipper. She then gave her a thumbs up, calming Shizuku down. Hinata had no reason to expose Shizuku, especially since she herself didn't reveal what her own dream was.

After a couple more hours, even longer than the wait for Shizuku, everyone decided to free the others by force, much to Kaori and Shizuku's disappointment.

Instead of punching through the amber like Hinata wanted to, the group decided it was safer to let Seiji disintegrate it, like how Noint disintegrated Aiko's prison. Seiji had managed to do so, without disintegrating their bodies. They were still asleep, but Kaori did a diagnostic and says they're in the clear. And eventually they did wake up.

Ryutaro opened his eyes. "Huh?! Where-"

Kouki got up in a panic. "Kaori? Shizuku? Wasn't I-"

"Eri! No!" They all woke up in a shock, and Suzu in particular was reaching out to the sky.

They all get out of their coffins, sadness clearly visible on their faces once they learn they were just hallucinating. Ryutaro was depressed but easily shrugged it off. Suzu gave a hollow smile and Kouki had a dark expression, completely the opposite of his demeanor.

Unlike the ones who left the dream by their own choice, these three felt as if they were removed by force from a wonderful dream.

The thing they experienced was on a personal level, but Hinata wasn't gonna let that slow her down. And it seems the labyrinth also wasn't gonna give them a chance to rest. Another teleportation circle lights up below them.

And they find themselves in another forest. This time however the sky wasn't covered in fog and they can clearly see a much bigger tree in the distance. Hinata also that they were no more imposters in the party.

But before they departed. "Akira, can you open a portal that leads outside?

"Eh, why?"

"So we can kick those three out." Hinata gestured to the three who didn't wake up on our own.

"What's this about?!" Ryutaro angrily asked.

"You three rather stayed in lala land instead of clearing the damm labyrinth. I don't think you have any chance to gain the ancient magic." Hinata grins. "Well...not that you had much of a chance to begin with. Just look a these two." She points at Suzu and Kouki who still seemed down. "They are still sulking about something that wasn't fucking real."

She didn't care...

She didn't care what they dreamt about.

She didn't care what Kouki was doing with Kaori and Shizuku.

She didn't care that Suzu still cared about that psychotic bitch.

She didn't care tha-

"I am sorry to say, but I agree with her."

Huh?

"Meld?!"

"Not about the insults, but if you three feel that it is too much for you, we'll try sending you back. If that doesn't work, then we will set up a barrier to protect you here. Do not feel bad about failure, learn from it. I remember well how Orcus nearly broke me. So remember this, labyrinths challenges people to the extremes, you not only need strength but also the will to clear it, but neither of those can be obtained easily."

Everyone looked at Meld after he finished his speech, the ones who were down started to feel better. Those who didn't, were impressed by the man's speech. And Hinata...simply looked away.

"So, what's it gonna be?" She asked.

"I'm still going!" Ryutaro instantly declared. "I might not get the ancient magic, but a real man would see this to the end."

"I...I can keep going too!" Kouki declared. Hinata was right about nearly everything, so even Kouki can't deny that. But he is not gonna let himself be a quitter.

"So can I!" Suzu chimed in, although it was disturbing, that dream had actually awoken something in her.

"...Fine..."

The group heads for the big tree, but as they go, they knew something was off. They haven't seen a single monster, there wasn't any wind nor any sounds of insects. They all braced themselves, until..

"Huh?"

"What is it Kouki?"

"I felt something drop on me."

"Rain? Wait, but we're in- AKIRA!" Hinata shouted.

"On it!"

Akira quickly creates a barrier, stopping whatever was about to fall on them. They all look at the white liquid on the barrier. "I don't think that's rain."

Soon more white liquid start dropping in.

"There's more?!" Seiji gasped.

"They're coming from the trees, I can't sense them at all." Hinata cursed.

"Wait, it's moving, it's a slime!"

"Kyaaa, they're coming from ground!"

"What?!"

Suzu pointed to the white blobs emerging from the ground inside the barrier. One of the slimes started to cover Ryutaro.

"Gah, get off!"

"Wait do-"

The musclehead punches with his gauntlet artifact , causing to the slime to burst apart, splattering all over everyone.

"Oops."

"You idiot!"

"I got this." Seiji then disintegrates all the slimes using his powers. With the slimes gone, they all got a good look at each other. It was kinda embarrassing, considering everyone was covered in white liquid and that might lead to some disturbing imagination.

Hinata and Meld were the only one who weren't covered in slime. They had use Lightning Field to dry themselves off. Kouki and Ryutaro looked away from their female comrades, who were quite embarrassed about how they currently look.

Hinata gagged at the sight. "Ugh what's up with these slimes? They're everywhere."

"It's gonna be hard traversing through all these slimes."

"I've got a plan. Seiji, you help get everyone clean. I'll handle the slimes." Hinata ordered

"How?"

"Like this." Hinata places her hand on the barrier and summons a bunch of drones outside of the barrier. They all see the drones fly away and wondered what Hinata was planning.

"Hinata what are you-"

Hinata then pulls out a gate key and he missile launcher.

"Uh Hinata-"

She opens a gate...

"Hina-"

And fires her missiles into it. Soon, explosions can be heard from the distance. Everyone was stunned in silence at what she did. Except for Akira and Tio, who seems to like this side of her. Knowing they can't stop her, all they can do is watch as she fires more missiles and also uses her flamethrower. In minutes, the forest looked like literal burning hell.

Soon they all just stood in the wasteland filled with burning ashes. "Ok, now I just need some time to transmute a path and then we can go. In the meantime, you all rest up."

"Uh...sure."

They followed Hinata's advice. However, after some time, most of the party started to feel something odd.

While Hinata was still transmuting, the barriers disappeared. "Huh? Akira why did- Eh?" She was cut off when Akira suddenly wrapped his arms around her. "What did I say about physical conta..." She trailed off as she saw Akira's face.

"Huff...huff...Hinata... I..need you...huff." He was breathing heavily, his face was blushing, his body was burning up, and Hinata didn't like the look in his eyes. She moves him away and sees that Shu and Seiji are in the same state.

"Are you guys ok?" Hinata hears Meld and sees him looking at Kouki's group. They were in the same condition, Shizuku alone seems to be faring better than the others. Instead of slowly approaching someone, she was actually meditating and trying to fight off whatever was affecting her.

Hinata and Meld steps back. "Oh no... I think...they're horny!"

"What?! Don't tell me..." Meld looked the white remains on the ground. "The slimes!"

"Ok, this is officially crossing the line! And that's coming from me!"

"We need a way to restrain them. I really don't want to see what happens if they make contact with each other."

"Don't worry, I got just the thing." Hinata assured.

SLAM

"There, done." Hinata proudly states.

"Uhm...so you're plan was...this?" Meld refers to the two massive cages, one with the boys and the other with the girls. "Isn't this the cage you used in Orcus? The one you slept in to prevent Akira from going into your bed?"

"Yup, and my spare." Meld tried to say something, but no words were coming out.

"Anyway, we need to figure how to fix them, their usual selves were definitely more tolerable than this."

"I'm also confused as to why we're still fine?" Meld wondered.

"I believe I can answer that." Tio said.

""Ah!"" They jumped and turn back to Tio...who was completely normal.

"How did I miss you?!" Hinata screamed.

"Most likely because I stepped away for a moment. Anyway, I believe that you two aren't affected because you used Lightning Fieldand warded off any slimes that made contact." Tio calmly explained.

"I...see...but Tio, how come you are fine?" Meld pointed out.

"Yeah, I remember you being drenched by those slimes." Hinata mentioned.

"Oh I was, and I'm definitely not fine. In fact, the slime is affecting me right this second." After he said that , Hinata and Meld stared at him for 5 minutes straight in silence.

"Ok, so..." Hinata takes a deep a breath. "Do you know what the slime is doing to them?"

"It appears to be some sort of mental poison, hypnosis you might say. Not only do they render the victims to this state, but they also prevent them from using magic."

"Can we heal them with restoration magic?" Meld suggested.

Tio shakes his head. "I'm afraid not, even if you return them to their normal state, the poison will still be there. For example, back in Ankaji, if you had restored the oasis while the slime was still there, then it would've just been poisoned again."

"Then what if we use spirit magic to cleanse their soul or something?"

Tio shakes his head. "A person's mind and their soul are two different things Master, so that would also not be effective, and that does not get rid of the poison either."

"Hmmmmm...This is hard. If it really is some type of poison does that mean can use healing magic?"

"But unfortunately, Kaori and Seiji cannot use their magic and I'm not that proficient in healing." Meld regretfully said.

"Well that only leaves the ambrosia, and our supply have seriously dwindled after five freaking labyrinths."

"I might have an idea." Tio spoke up. "Since the poison is mental, there is a chance that they overcome it naturally, should their minds be strong enough."

"If that is the case, then our best option is to put our trust in them." Meld sighed.

"So...we have to wait until they stop wanting to sleep with me?" Hinata asked her rhetorical question.

"Ah." Meld's eyes widened. "Y-Yes I c-can see why you find that difficult. But have some faith in your allies, they've been through a lot too you know. How about you give them words of encouragement, maybe that'll helps."

Hinata looks at the cages before sighing. "If it'll get this over with..." She walks closer to the boys's cage and stares at the horny mess that is her party. And in return they stared at her while also reaching out to her and moaning out her name.

She begins talking. "Guys..."

CLANG

Before kicking the entire cage back. "SHAPE HELL UP!"

Meld's jaw drops as the boys back away from the bars of the cage.

"You cannot be telling me this is what does you all in." She points at the vampire "Akira, you were imprisoned in complete isolation for 300 years." She points at the rabbit. "Shu, you and your family were all sentenced to death for no good reason and then hunted down." She points to the apostle. "And Seiji, you were legally dead for a while. Not to mention, a whole lot of other bullshits you faced. So I'll ask you again, you're gonna let something like this do you in?!"

The three looked at each other before answering.

"N-NO!"

"We'll...huff...be fine."

"Don't...worry."

"Yeah!" Hinata turns to the girls' cage.

"We'll be ok too Hinata." Kaori exclaimed.

Satisfied with the answers Hinata walks away and continues to transmute a path for when everyone recovers.

After some time, Akira and the others turned back to normal. Their temperatures went down and they stopped having their...urges.

Meld used wind magic to help dry off all the sweat and get rid of the stink on their body. After that, they made their way to the big tree and just like last time they were transported by the magic circle inside.

However, after the light disappeared, they still found themselves inside a tree.

"Huh, we didn't get teleported?"

"No wait, look there." Akira points at the entrance. When they all looked through it, they were shocked to see the burnt wasteland gone and instead they find what seems to be a branch extending from the tree they were in. Some branches crossed each other and made a huge platform.

The branch was large enough to act as some form of bridge. They step out and were in awe seeing other branches sticking out, creating som sort of webs of branches. They turn back to see that the tree were in was unbelievably massive.

"Is that...part of the labyrinth? It definitely matches in terms of size."

"Labyrinths typically go down, so we should be underground right now. But, these look like branches rather than roots." Meld said as he observes his surroundings.

"Then that begs the question, how long is the tree actually is?"

They were surprised by the fact that the massive tree at the entrance turned out to be just the tip of the tree. For all they know, the tree could reach the planet's core.

"Don't really see any other trees, it's just branches. Let's try making our way to big platform thing, maybe there's something there." Hinata suggested.

They move forward, but then Shu stops. "Hm?"

"What is it Shu?"

"My ears... they're picking something up. From...there!" Shu goes to the edge and points to the bottom, the area below the branches and covered in darkness. "I can't tell what it is. Oh, i know, i can just enhance my eyesight with magic."

But as soon as he did that, he let out a yelp. "Hya!" And froze completely.

"Shu?" Hinata saw the fear in his face. "What did you see?" She sends a drone down and after seeing it. "Seriously? You got scared over that?"

"What is it Hinata? What's down there?"

"Here, I'll show you." Hinata pulled a crystal, this was a crystal can project what she and her drone are seeing. And when the image was shown.

"Guk!"

"Kyah!"

Everybody froze like Shu did. "Oh come on. It's just a bunch of roaches." Hinata's crystal was projecting and image of what seems to be an endless pit full of roaches crawling all over the place.

Even Hinata's party couldn't help but be paralyzed by the sight, even with all the life threatening dangers they've faced.

"Hinata, you're not bothered in the least?!"

"No." The synergist shrugged.

"I know you have far different view than us, but don't tell me you actually like roaches!"

Hinata scratched her cheek. "I wouldn't say I like them, it's more like, I've gotten used to them."

"Used to?"

"I don't really live in the most sanitary place. I see one or two roaches every day. Heck, one time a roach climbed into my hat and I didn't even notice until-eh?"

Hinata stops talking when Meld puts his hands on her shoulder and gives her a very serious look. "Hinata...you can live in the castle anytime you want."

"Huh?"

"Just stay as long as you want. I'm sure the princess will be fine with that." Meld stated with the utmost certainty.

"Ok, stop it." She takes his hands off. "Anyway, are we suppose to kill that swarm down there?"

"I will burn them all." Akira gets ready to cast a spell.

But Shizukuquickly grabs him. "W-Wait if you attack, they all come up here!"

"I…don't think we'll have a choice." Hinata said, they then all started hearing an odd sound, the sound of hundreds of little wings flying closer. Hinata beings out her guns and some drones and along with her party, go to edge and starts shooting at the incoming swarm. Though, everyone but Hinata seemed to be firing out of panic.

They were able to kill a good amount. However, the swarm still had vast numbers and getting closer.

"Shit, there's too much of them."

"They're movements are all coordinated."

They step back, just as Suzu shakily finished her chant to use Hallowed Ground. They all bear witness to the sight of the barrier being entirely covered by roaches.

"Kyaaaaaaahhhhh!" Suzu shrieked before collapsing and being caught by Kouki.

"Well Taniguchi's out."

Kouki gently shake her to try and wake her up. "Suzu, oy Suzu, wake up!"

"So...many..." The barrier master said drowsily.

"It's ok Suzu. Just think of them as..as... seeds. Yeah, black sesame seeds. Hey, did you know black sesame seeds can help give you glowing hair and skin. Boy, I can sure go for some sesame balls." Shizuku said with her eyes closed and a smile on her face, as if she forgot what situation they're in.

"Shizuku, stop spouting nonsense and get back to reality!" Now Kaori was shaking Shizuku to wake her up.

"Aaaand Yaegashi went nuts. Akira, set up a backup barrier."

"Got it." Akira immediately created a other barrier inside Suzu's.

"Alright you bitches, let's see how you like-huh?" Before Hinata can summon a new weapon, the roaches on the barrier flew off.

They then can see the cockroaches coming together forming two different groups. One formed a large thick sphere, the other was forming a circle with lines inside of it, it seemed to be surrounding the sphere.

"Wait, is that...a magic circle?"

"So they can use magic. Quick, shoot it down!"

They all begin another barrage, only for their attacks to be blocked by other roaches.

"Human shields...now we can be sure they're coordinated together."

"Uh oh, the magic circle's done."

Just as Shu pointed out, the circle of roaches glowed a dark red color. Then the roches on the outer shell all died, leaving only a black sphere.

The sphere then started to rip at the top and they can see a pair of hands coming out. The hands pushed the sphere apart, revealing the monstrosity inside.

It was a humanoid cockroach, it had 6 arms, each with razor sharp fingers, 3 pair of wings, pitch black eyes and and tail.

"Gichichichi." Was the voice it made. Kaori needed to hold in her barf after seeing the abomination. Hinata then sees more roaches gathering to the circle.

"They're trying to make more, qui-" Hinata and Meld suddenly felt another torrent mana from below their feet. However, they didn't see anything on the platform. Hina then realized the truth. "There's a magic circle below, the one up there us just a diver-AH!"

In an instant, the party was blinded by a bright purple light that covered the entire room. After the light is gone, everyone inspects themselves but find nothing different.

However, when they looked at each other...

"What are you looking at?" Meld asked in a deep voice to Hinata, who gulps. "I said...WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT, YOU DAMN BRAT?"

"Kyaaaaah!" Hinata shrieked as she fell to her knees.

"Would you stop?" Akira steps in. "She might be unbearable, but that doesn't mean you have to assault my ears with your voice."

"What was that you damn vampire!?" Meld brandished his sword at the vampire.

"You heard me." In response, Akira takes out his rapier, generating flames at the tip.

As Akira and Meld glare each other down, Shu comes in. "Cut it out you two!"

""Shut your mouth rabbit!"" They both responded.

"Cut it out...or I'll smash you myself!" Shu started swinging his hammer.

"Wha-What is this?" Tio muttered, watching the exchange of the three.
