[KAMEN RIDER EQUIPMENT!]
Story start:
The story starts with dark purple energy as a voice spoke in overvoice. "I have spent my life searching for the answers my Father and my Father's Father failed to find."
Streaks of bright purple energy were seen passing through the dark purple energy. "Who were the Precursors? Why did they create the vast monoliths that litter our planet? How did they harness Eco, the life energy of the world? What was their purpose and why did they vanish? I have asked the plants, but they do not remember. The plants have asked the rocks but the rocks do not recall."
The view shifted to the night sky before scrolling down to a large stone hill with a wooden tower emerging from the top of it.
The voice's tone shifted to disbelief. "Even the rocks do not recall."
The screen shifted down, showing a teenager laying in a wooden boat that had some metal parts. She looked to be around fifteen, had fair skin, green eyes and long blonde hair that went down to her mid back. She wore a white sleeveless t-shirt under a light green jacket that had the sleeves pinned up so they stopped just before her elbows. Her hips were covered by dark blue short shorts while dark green boots were worn on her feet.
Her name was Miki.
The voice over continued. "Every bone in my body tells me the answers rest on the shoulders of a young girl who is oblivious to her destiny."
Another teenager staggered into view. She looked to be around the same age as Miki but had black hair that was pulled into a high ponytail that reached her butt and green eyes. She was wearing a white short sleeved t-shirt with a V cut out of the front of it that was held together by red string. Bright blue jeans covered her legs and were tucked into black knee high boots.
Her name was Hibiki.
"Un-interested in the search for truth." The voice continued. "And rejecting of my guidance."
Hibiki staggered over to the side of the boat and threw up.
Miki looked at her and rolled her eyes before continuing to stare up at the stars.
"And why would she want to listen to old Samos the sage anyway?"
Shooting a dirty look at Miki, the third occupant of the boat walked over and started to rub Hibiki back in an effort to help her. She had fairy skin, short silver hair that stopped at the bottom of her neck and had red eyes. She was wearing a black blouse under a white sleeveless jacket. Her hips were covered by a knee length black skirt while her feet were in knee high white boots and a black line going up the front of them and black lacing.
Her name was Makoto.
"I'm only THE MASTER OF GREEN ECO!" The voice over roared. "ONE OF THE WISEST MEN ON THE PLANET!"
Still smiling, Miki got up and held out a hand which Hibiki took and was helped to her feet.
All three of them burst out laughing.
"So it seams the answer beings not with careful research."
The camera zoomed out revealing that they were on a boat that had a spinning fan on the back of it that was surrounded by five sails in a cone. It was moving towards a dark looking island.
"Or with sensible thinking."
The camera switched to an aerial view. Showing the boat passing between a pair of large rocks. The plain grey stone of the island had various large bones sticking out of them, giving the entire place quite a grim, dark and foreboding feeling.
"As with many of fate's mysteries. It begins with but a small act of disobedience."
The boat stopped on the island and Miki jumped off.
Makoto followed her but came with a rope, one end of which was tied to the boat. She wrapped the other around a rock.
Hibiki looked around in concern. "Hey!" Seeing she was being left behind she jumped onto the beach. "Old green stuff told us not to come here!" She looked around as they reached the end of the beach and made it onto the island itself.
"Yeah and that's why we came here." Makoto shot back. "To see what is so dangerous about this place that Samos, who has frequently thrown us into an active volcano as part of our training, told us not to come here."
"Maybe it's really scary." Miki made her voice eco ominous to tase Hibiki, getting a punch to the shoulder in return.
"Maybe something that will totally change our lives will happen there and Samos knew the best way to get us here was to tell us we weren't allowed to go." Mokoto suggested jokingly.
From where they were climbing a hill Miki and Hibiki stopped and looked at each other.
"It does sound like something he would do." Hibiki pointed out, taking the joke a little too seriously.
Miki rolled her eyes, scoffing as she started climbing the hill again. "I'll bet fifty Precursor Orbs that's not the case at all."
"You're on!" Hibiki countered back as she followed her friend.
"Do either of you even have fifty Precursor Orbs?" Makoto asked as she started climbing the hill.
"I've got fifty stacked here and there back in Sandover Village." Hibiki replied as she jumped from her current hand hold over to another set.
"And I saw at least fifty back on Geyser Rock. I didn't collect them, given what happened to our packs." Miki added as she reached the top of the hill.
Makoto shuddered as she remembered what else happened in that disastrous training session.
Hibiki crested the top of the hill shortly after Miki with Makoto coming in last.
Upon seeing what was happening in front of them the three of them hid behind some rocks that were inside of a massive skull.
There was a massive amphitheater with a large circle stone at the end of it. The stone was behind at a stage that was made of black rock with a stone steps leading up to them.
Standing in front of the stage was two types of humanoid creatures:
The first, and more numerous type, were around six feet tall. They wore black armor bracers on their forearms as well as black shoulder armor and black thigh armor. While they were humanoid their legs were that of a fox and coming from their tail bones was a long bushy tail. They had five fingers on each hand each of which ended in a black claw. Their faces resemble a fox's head, their eyes were bright yellow and each was covered in dark orange fur.
These were the Fox Lords.
The second type of creatures, that Makoto could only see four of, were also humanoid. They stood about two feet taller than the Fox Lords and had jet black scales all over their bodies as well as being draconic based. Each of their hands had four razor sharp claws instead of fingers that were made of obsidian crystal. Their feet were the same except the claws were bigger. Each of them had a tail with an arrowhead spike at the tip which was also made of the same obsidian crystal-like substance. Each creature had two eyes that were glowing bright green and a mouth full of ivory white, dagger-like, teeth. Obsidian horns grew from each creature's head, along with three rows of spines that ran the length of their spines to their tails. Coming from each monster's back were two huge leather dragon wings.
These are the Salamander Lords.
Suddenly, two humanoid beings warped in in a cloud of purple smoke.
The first was an elderly male and had ash grey skin. His eyes were yellow with dark red pupils. He had white hair that reached down to the middle of his back and a pointed white goatee. He wore a red metal glove on his right hand which extended up to his elbow and had several tubes entering his skin. Around his waist was a dark brown belt with three spherical weights dangling from it. Under the belt he wore a black coat that reached down his ankles with an opening in the front below the belt, revealing that he was wearing light brown trousers that stopped just past his knees. Around his lower legs were white bandages, the coat had a wide collar and it's left sleeve reached to his wrist while the other sleeve was missing.
He stretched out his hand over the Lords. "Continue your search for artifacts and eco." His voice was very echoey. He panted, taking in a deep breath. "The locals possess Precursor items, you know what to do." He slumped over, as if speaking those two sentences had taken all of his energy.
The other figure was an equally old human female with a tall slender body but she had a youthful appearance. Her skin was grey-blue while her eyes were yellow with red irises. She had a patch of dark blue skin on either side of her face and long, thick, yellow-grey hair that was held back by a yellow helmet with green sides. She wore a low-cut, midriff length corset made of pale yellow metal, as well as hip guards, thigh guards, knee pads and knee high, high heel platform boots, all made from the same metal. Her attire was finished by a red collar necklace, red elbow length gloves and brown pants held up by a large red belt.
She put a hand on her hip. "Deal harshly with anyone who strays from the village. We will attack it-" She threw a hand up next to her face, turning it into a fist. "-in due time."
Hibiki shot Miki a terrified look.
Makoto gestured back the way they came.
Both of the other girls nodded and they started to retrace their steps.
But unknown to them, Hibiki's foot knocked several pebbles off of the cliff, sending them rolling down to stop at one of the Salamander Lord's feet. The monster looked up at the cliff where the pebbles had come from.
"What are we doing here anyway!? Hibiki demanded as the three girls walked towards a pool full of dark energy. "This place gives me the creeps!" She looked around nervously.
"Don't trip over the Precursor artifact." Makoto warned.
Hibiki stopped and looked down. She had been about to trip over a dark red cylinder with a circle on either side of it. She shrugged as she picked up the canister.
All three of them looked down into the pit as dark purple energy flashed along the eco.
Hibiki let out an eep. "What is that dark ooze!?"
"I'd guess it's dark eco." Makoto offered. "It has the same overall consistency as the other eco types, same with the energy reactions taking place over it. But I've never seen so much eco in one place."
Hibiki shuddered. "It sure doesn't look friendly." She tossed the canister to Miki. "Can we get out of here already!?"
"Give me a minute." Makoto took up a pose and in a burst of blue water a belt materialized around her waist. It was made of red leather with a black oval shaped buckle. In the center of the buckle was a turned off circle shaped light. Coming from the top of the light was a golden prong that was half as long as the buckle and pointed to the left. Coming off the bottom was an identical prog but it pointed the other way. Positioned on each of the belt's hip sections was a silver circle with a grey metal button with a black circle in the center of it, a dark blue outline separated button from circle. On either side of the buckle's main light was a smaller turned off circle shaped light.
This was the Agito Driver.
Makoto pointed a hand at the dark eco pool and a golden scanning beam shot out of the Agito Driver's light.
Hibiki polished the top of the canister. "The sage yaps on about the precursors that built this place all the time." Her voice took on a mocking lit. "Where did they go? Why did they build all this?" She tossed the canister to Miki and walked towards Makoto.
The canister lit up red in Miki's hands. "Er, girls?"
She was ignored as Hibiki continued speaking. "Now I like precursor orbs and power cells as much as the but if you ask me they must have been real losers."
Miki cut her off. "GIRLS!"
"What?" Hibiki spun around and saw the glowing canister. "Woah!" She zoomed over to Miki. "How did you do that!?"
Makoto finished her scan, turning back to her sister (Miki) and her friend.
All three of them screamed in shock as the Salamander Lord landed behind them.
"I think we're in trouble!" Hikibi screamed as she pointed at the monster.
The monster roared as it ran at them.
Miki looked down at the canister in her hands and got a determined look on her face.
"Miki." Makoto began when she saw that look.
Miki ran forwards.
"Don't do it!" Makoto screamed just before Miki hurled the canister at the monster.
It exploded, throwing the monster back and doing the same to Miki. She was thrown into Hibiki, knocking her into the pool.
"HIBIKI! MIKI YOU IMBECILE!" Makoto yelled.
The Salamander Lord got back up, revealing that several scales had been blown off of its body and it was favouring its right leg. Its left arm was missing and its tail had several holes through it.
Makoto glared at it with a look of pure rage on her face as she took up a pose. The agito driver's light flickered on, turning dark blue.
This is the water setting.
"HENSHIN!" Makoto threw her arms out and then in, hitting the buttons on either of her hips. Deep blue water spiralled out of the agito driver's light before surrounding Makoto in a dome, inside of which she transformed before the water burst away.
Makoto's feet had shifted into boots made from black leather. Her ankles had transformed into dark blue bone armor that stopped one fourth of the way up her lower legs, they had dark grey outlines at the top and bottom of them. Going up the front of her upper legs was a dark grey line that stopped at her knees, wrapping around the middle of her lower legs was a dark grey ring, cutting the lines in half, making a cross on the front of each leg. The front of Makoto's knees had transformed into dark blue bone armor that was shaped like a vertical oval with a light grey outline.
Her torso had turned into a dark blue bone breastplate with pitch black spots dotting it. Coming down from each of her shoulders was a bright blue diagonal line that stopped just before they met. Both of them went down vertically before curving outwards and then inwards. Once they reached the bottom of her chest they went outwards before curling inwards. Between the lines, where they curved out and then in was a black six pointed star.
The top of her shoulders had transformed into dark grey bone shoulders pads, each of which was shaped like an outwards pointing lily pad. Her lower arms had transformed into dark blue bone armor with a dark grey ring around the top and bottom of them. Around her neck was a bright red scarf that reached down to her ankles.
Her head had shifted into a helmet made of a bone like material. Her mouth had been replaced by a dark grey mouthguard while the rest of the helmet was blue. Makoto's eyes had turned into a pair of bright blue visors that were halfway between a circle and oval shape. Finally, wrapping around her forehead was a bright blue ring that had a spike coming from each side of her head, the spikes pointed outwards and upwards.
Every part of Makoto's body that had not transformed into bone like armor had shifted into black leather. Wrapped around the middle of her upper legs and upper arms was a bright blue ring.
Makoto had transformed into Kamen Rider Amphibia, Water Blessing.
Let the battle begin!
"Let's go!" She ran forwards and coated her right fist in water, punching the Salamander Lord in the stomach, doing some damage. It swiped at her with its remaining arm but she jumped back out of range. The monster's mouth opened as purple light collected in it before it fired the light in a beam.
Amphibia cupped her hands, forming a sphere of clear blue water between them before she threw the sphere at the beam. The sphere hit the beam and exploded, dispelling the Lord's attack.
Amphibia flattened her hands and formed a water blade around each of them as she slid forwards on a trail of water that appeared in front of her boots. She circled around the monster, slashing it from all sides as her water trail rose higher.
All of a sudden the monster spun around and slammed its tail into Amphibia's side, knocking her down towards the ground.
"TAKE THIS!" She formed another sphere of water in her right hand and hurled it at the Salamander Lord, it slammed into the side of the monster's head.
The orb exploded into a mini tidal wave of water that knocked the monster over. Amphibia twisted and landed on her boots before the Lord fired a beam of pink light at her from its mouth.
She crossed her arms in front of her face and a sphere of water formed around her. The beam crashed into it and the water started to boil before the beam was cut off. Amphibia was smoking but unharmed for the most part.
Amphibia ran forwards and slid under a swipe before jumping upwards. "Take this!" She slammed her knee into the base of the monster's skull, flipping it backwards before she held her right wrist with her left hand, two of her right fingers were pointed forwards. A blade of water formed around the arm and Amphibia swung it downwards.
The Salamander Lord swung its tail up, forcing Amphibia to swing early, cutting the tail off.
The monster punched Amphibia while she was still in recovery, sending her flying backwards. She bounced across the ground twice as the Salamander Lord coughed out blood, it was bleeding heavily from the remains of its tail as well.
"You shall be smited by the light." Seeing this Amphibia decided to end it! She threw her arms out to the sides, bent at her elbows as the water logo appeared on the ground.
It was a blue water drop inside of a six pointed star.
The logo spiralled into her right boot as her horns cloned themselves, now she had six, two at the front of her circlet, two on the sides and two at the back. "WATER CALAMITY KICK!" She jumped into the air and shot down towards the Salamander Lord with her charged boot extended. It looked at her weakly just in time to take the boot, the sole of which was glowing bright blue, to the face, ripping its head off. Amphibia landed on the ground as the monster exploded behind her.
Battle ended!
The Kamen Rider transformed back into Makoto and limped over to Miki, who was still staring at the pool in shock.
She embraced her sister from behind. "I am so so, sorry." Tears began to fall down her cheeks.
"Why are you apologizing?" Miki was also crying as she held her sister's hand. "I'm the one that didn't listen and threw the stupid canister."
Suddenly, Hibiki burst out of the pool, flying past the two graving siblings and skidding along the ground.
"HIBIKI!" The tears of sadness instantly turned into tears of happiness as the two sisters grabbed their friend in a massive hug,
"Man that stung!" Hibiki hissed out, clutching her head. She stormed up to Miki. "I told you we shouldn't have come here!" She pointed at the blonde. "Had you listened-!" Then she noticed the way that Makoto and Miki were staring at her. "What? Why are you looking at me like I'm an alien?"
"Hibiki-" Miki began hesitantly.
"You're an ottsel."
Miki gave her sister a flat look. "She's a what?"
"She looks like a fusion of an otter and a weasel!" Makoto defended herself. "What else am I supposed to call her?"
Hibiki looked down at her right hand, her nailed her turned into claws and her hand was curled into a claw shape that she couldn't fully straighten no matter what she did. She felt a new sensation behind her and looked over her shoulder, seeing a bright blue bushy tail coming from her backside. "AAAHHHHH!" She freaked out and started punching the ground.
Miki continued staring.
Makoto sweatdropped.
Five minutes of screaming later
Hibiki got back up. "Okay. Okay, I'm fine." She panted out.
"You're clearly not." Makoto pointed out.
Then Hibiki caught sight of her face in one of the puddles left over from the fight. Her pupils were now slitted and coming from her head were two bright blue otter ears.
This time she leapt up, grabbed onto Miki's face and started screaming.
Miki ran around, failing her arms. "I can't see!"
Makoto facepalmed.

Kamen Rider Database
Kamen Rider Amphibia, Water Blessing.
This is Kamen Rider Amphibia's default form. It is based on Anne Boonchuy and a frog.
When I was coming up with this form I was struggling to figure out which element it should have. Anne spent most of the series in Wartwood which is a swamp on the edge of a forest. In the final episode of the second season when she gets her calamity powers tree branches grow from her hair. That meant one of the elements I could use was wood.
On the other hand, Anne's hair turns blue when she gets her powers, which water fits in with better. Also, trees need water to survive.
In the end it was a coin toss, and I mean that literally. I got so fed up with being unable to decide I tossed a coin.
Anyway, all of this form's stats are good but it excels in jumping height and kicking power, being based off a frog.
It has six attacks:
1: Amphibia forms a sphere of water between her hands and throws it. She can use a smaller, but quicker to form, version with one hand.
2: Amphibia coats her right fist in water and forms a blade before slashing around.
3: Amphibia throws her hands forwards, firing two beams of bubbles.
4: Amphibia crosses her arms, forming a sphere of water, blocking an attack
5: Amphibia forms a water blade on either hand and slashes
6: Amphibia throws her hands forwards, firing a pair of water blasts.
Finisher:
Water Calamity Kick: The water logo appears on the ground and is pulled into her boot. Amphibia jumps into the air and comes down with a diving kick.
Also, as you all know Kamen Riders get their powers from the same sources they fight, I wanted to make this a bit more literal. So like the new Kamen Rider Amazons the Kamen Riders in these series are not just humans wearing armor, they actually transform with their armor either merging with them or their skin becoming armor.
