Power Training Chapter 6
When the school day concluded, he informed Lori that he would walk home after spending some time with his friend. Clyde told his father that he planned to hang out with his best friend, Lincoln, along with Ronnie and Sid. Ronnie instructed Bobby to let their mother know that she would be out with her friends, and Sid conveyed the same message to her family. It took approximately 20 to 30 minutes for them to reach the junkyard.
"Alright," Lincoln stated. "This should be the ideal location to train our power."
With that, Clyde retrieved his notebook from his bag, catching Lincoln's attention. "Clyde, why do you have that notebook?" Lincoln asked curiously. "Oh, this? planning to write about our strengths, skills, and weaknesses so that we can work on improving them," Clyde replied.
"That is a great idea," Lincoln said. "Turn back around. Ronnie Anne, I want you to create another energy ball and aim at an old car," Lincoln instructed.
"Alright, everyone, let the power of energy demonstrate itself." Ronnie Anne took a deep breath and raised her hand, conjuring a glowing ball of energy. She hurled the ball towards the car, sending it crashing to the ground. Before departing, she began to speak. "I think I know what my hero's name should be." Ronnie Anne said, then pointed her finger at the ground, releasing a small energy blast that struck the surface. As the energy dissipated, it formed letters on the ground, spelling out her chosen name.
Nova
"Indeed, call me Nova," Ronnie Anne said, walking back to where her friend was, still shocked at the sight before her. After a few seconds, they expressed a desire to return to normal. "Alright, Lincoln, I need you to transform into a lion, an eagle, and a wolf," Clyde said.
"Understood," Lincoln replied, beginning to morph into a lion. Letting out a powerful roar, he took off running. Upon reaching the other side, he transformed into an eagle, soaring high into the sky. Descending rapidly, just before hitting the ground, he shifted into a wolf and sprinted back to his starting point. Finally, he reverted to his human form, releasing a deep sigh. "Man, that was wild," Lincoln remarked.
"That's an excellent start, Lame-O," Ronnie Anne remarked. "Clyde, it's your turn." Clyde rose to his feet and noticed a printer lying nearby. As he placed his hand on the printer, intricate yellow and blue technological patterns appeared across its surface. The printer's machinery began to tremble, and soon parts detached and adhered to him, assembling into an armor. The armor emitted a faint buzzing sound akin to a heater, with a subtle red glow eman surface. This spectacle captivated and amused everyone who witnessed it.
Clyde was in shock upon witnessing this, but he paused to think for a moment. Lincoln could transform into an animal, Ronnie Anne had the ability to shoot energy blasts, and Sid could become invisible, perhaps could come up with a of weapon, Clyde pondered thoughtfully.
Clyde closed his eyes and envisioned the powerful blaster. Within moments, his technological hand transformed into a formidable weapon. As his hand completed the transformation, Clyde smiled with satisfaction and aimed the blaster at the old car. With a decisive motion, he unleashed a powerful blast striking the car and obliterating it entirely, leaving trace behind. "Now that was impressive," Clyde remarked with a sense of accomplishment.
Very well, it is now the appropriate moment for me to demonstrate my true capabilities, Sid declares
Sid closed her eyes and focused her energy. Within moments, she sensed that something had changed. "Oh, Sid, I think you need to open your eyes," Ronnie Anne remarked. When Sid opened her eyes, she realized she was no longer on the ground but floating in the air. A delighted spread across her face. "I can fly," she exclaimed, soaring around excitement, only to suddenly collide with a wooden board.
Lincoln, Ronnie, and Clyde assist Sid in standing up, but she cannot suppress laughter, prompting the others to join in with their own.
Throughout the remainder of the afternoon, Lincoln, Clyde, Ronnie Anne, and Sid dedicated themselves no i to honing their abilities. Lincoln transformed into a gorilla, scaling the tower with ease, before seamlessly morphing into a red robin and soaring gracefully back down.
Clyde discovered his ability to control technology and hack into systems. Furthermore, high-tech suit granted him enhanced agility, strength, speed, and other advanced capabilities. Additionally, he learned that he could manipulate scientific or technological materials to form an arm. Most impressively, he could glitch out of his suit and appear out of nowhere.
Ronnie possesses the ability to fly by focusing her energy, demonstrating exceptional control and skill. Additionally, is capable of Ashing formidable energy blasts and waves, showcasing her immense power precision.
Sid discovered that she possesses the ability to unleash green ectoplasmic blasts while simultaneously achieving invisibility and intangibility.
After a few hours of practice with their powers, Clyde realized how late it was and that they needed to stop they were late for dinner. "Guys, I think we need to wrap it up or we're going to miss dinner," Clyde remarked. This prompted all three of them to glance at the sky and notice how late it had become. "Alright, everyone, let's head out. Tomorrow, we'll continue training, and don't worry about the hero suit—I'll handle it," Clyde assured them.
Thank you Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, Sid, and express their gratitude.
It is fortunate that there is no school tomorrow. We can begin training, Sid declared, prompting all the friends to nod in agreement. "Alright let us depart before our families become concerned," Clyde added, and with that, they refrained from running off.
Ronnie Anne's point of view:
Ronnie sprinted down the street, fully aware that if she failed to reach home before the streetlights illuminated, she would face a week-long grounding.
This is frustrating; I won't make it on time, Ronnie muttered taking a deep breath. She glanced upward, noticing the streetlight was about to illuminate in less than a minute, signaling time was running out. If I don't hurry, I'll be, she thought anxiously. Desperately searching for a solution Ronnie Anne remembered her ability fly Wait, I can fly home, can still make it on, she realized with a renewed sense of.
She hurried beneath the tree and raised her hood over her head. "I just need to ensure no one discovers my identity," Ronnie Anne muttered to herself. With that, she lifted off into the air and began flying at an incredible speed. As she soared through the sky, she found herself relishing the experience. However, her enjoyment was abruptly cut short when she collided with the roof and tumbled to the ground, landing near the back door of her house.
"I need to improve my flying and landing skills," Ronnie Anne groaned as she made her way into the house.
Clyde point of view:
Clyde was sprinting down the street, growing increasingly fatigued with each step. Exhausted, he glanced ahead and that his house was still eight minutes away. Reflecting for a, he recalled his unique ability to glitch through technology. Determined, he muttered, "It's now or never," initiated his glitching process. He moved swiftly through a tech car, transitioned into someone's phone, passed through computer, and finally reappeared at his front, all without anyone noticing his remarkable journey
"Alright, I need to practice more; that required quite a bit of energy," Clyde remarks as he steps into the house.
Sid point of view:
Sid was running frantically, overwhelmed by the realization that she was running late. After a few moments of hurried steps, she paused, to make it on time, and suddenly conceived brilliant idea. Glancing around to ensure no one was watching she murmured to herself, "It's time to fly." Activating her unique ability to turn invisible, she ascended into the sky. As she soared through the air, she couldn't help but marvel at the breathtaking view surrounding her. Upon arriving home, Sid became visible once more, though she remained suspended in mid-air.
While airborne, Sid activated her intangibility and phased through the wall to enter her room. Once inside, she reverted to tangibility and collapsed onto the ground. "That was truly extraordinary," Sid remarked, catching her breath.
Lincoln point of view:
Lincoln was running down the street, aware that his house was farther away than the homes of his friends. He knew he needed to make it on time because failing to do so would undoubtedly upset both his parents and his sisters. "Come on, Lincoln, you have to think of something," he told himself. After some thought he realized the most important thing he needed to do was get home before it was too late.
"This is the only way to get back home," Lincoln declares. Sensing no presence around him, he transforms into a cheetah and sprints down the street with remarkable speed. As he runs, he leaps into the air, morphing seamlessly into a falcon and soaring high above. From his vantage point in the sky, he spots his house not far away. Seeing his destination, he dives rapidly toward the ground, shifting into an armadillo and curling into a protective ball. As he falls swiftly, he transitions gracefully into a cat, landing safely and comfortably on all fours in the of a tree.
After resting on the tree, he transformed back into his human form and descended gracefully. Upon reaching the front, the door swung open, revealing his mother searching him.
"Oh, Lincoln, you made it on time," Rita remarked. "How was your day?" "It was excellent," Lincoln replied as he stepped into the house.
In a distant town near Lynn Sr.'s former workplace, stood a building known as Metal Computer., a man in his forties, with-black hair and dressed in an impeccable suit, gazed of the window. "Hm, it seems they have discovered the gem," he remarked in a calm tone. "But you will not be a match for me," he continued, as his hand turn into metal.
