Jaune and Blake walked for a few minutes to an open area. There was no light in the sewers. The only light they had was Jaune's flashlight; they entered the wide area, and his eyes turned dark blue. "Blake, cover my back!" Blake didn't hesitate and smashed her back against his, then she started looking around.
Jaune took a flash grenade out. "Blake, close your eyes!" Blake did it in a heartbeat, not questioning Jaune.
Jaune took out the pin and threw it upwards. Jaune hugged Blake from behind, and apart from the headset, she had Jaune put pressure on her ears and covered Blake from the ear-piercing sound the flash grenade made.
As the explosion of light went out, 3 humanoid voices were heard grunting; it was distorted as if they were using gas masks.
Footsteps were heard leaving.
"They are fucking humans," Jaune said, getting off of Blake. "Sorry, you okay, Blake?"
Blake was daydreaming.
Blake was a simple girl When Jaune got on top of her to protect her from harm her heart skipped a beat, she always dreamed of all those stories of knights in shining armor, she was stupefied, to say the least, the tenderness Jaune held Her, the way he use his own body to protect her.
The fact that he protected her ears, she was smiling like an idiot.
Jaune snapped his finger that is when Blake returned to the real world. "Blake! We are going against humans."
Blake smiled. "Uh, yeah, you are cute… oh yeah, sorry." Blake's face turned red.
Jaune turns on his light. "So the sound grenades are useless. Good thing I came with flash grenades," Jaune then starts to tie all the pings to the same string of the sound grenades. "Blake, can you get to that pipe?" Jaune pointed to a pipe that was on the roof of the sewers where the suspects had left.
"I can if I get a boost from you," Blake said as she baked away.
Jaune nodded. "Here," he said, giving the sound grenades to her. "Just because they are ineffective against humans doesn't mean they are useless completely."
Blake caught them and started running towards jaune. Jaune's hands moved to create a V shape, somewhere where Blake could put her heel. As she jumped, jaune launched Blake, and Blak,e with no problem, reached the pipe in the roof,
Jaune catches Blake Bidel Stile and Blake Bush and says, "My hero."
Jaune, for the first time, blushed mostly because his eyes were turned off. "I…uhh, thanks, I-i guess," Jaune said.
Blake smiled. "So what is the plan, fearless leader?"
Jaune stopped for a second. "I'm the leader?" Jaune started walking towards one of the holes where the enemy escaped, And started to lightly wrap The string connected to the sound grenades for one end of the entrance to the other end.
"I mean, do you want to? I don't want you to have that responsibility if you don't want to." Blake said her ears perked down.
Jaune looked at her. "No, thanks for giving me your trust; I'll try my best as the leader. But fearless leader?" Jaune smiled.
Blake Bush: "Uh… yeah, you don't feel emotions because of your eyes, so it is a fitting nickname." Blake said.
Jaune smiled. "I guess…" Jaune's eyes were thinking, then he smiled. "I like it," Jaune said and turned off his light and gave a signal for Blake to do the same, but she hid before he saw the signal.
She heard it first.
He told her to go to the other tunnel; he knew she could see him in the dark, and he held her hand.
"Those pricks! I'm going to kill them, flash grenades to thermal vision; you left my wife blind, you asshole!" Jaune heard a raspy voice say.
"Sucks to suck," jaune said and heard the fosters combine with water get close to the trap and whisper and Singal Blake to use her headphones.
The man responded, "I'm going to get you, boy. I'll kill you in front of your girlfriend!"
What a horrible taste you have in torture; I forgot I have to read your rights; you have the right to be silent and bla bla bla, I'm going to kill every single one of you," jaune said as he covered his ears and nodded to Blake.
"You shit s-" The man didn't finish his sentence as he kicked the string he didn't notice anything, Jaune cover his ears Harder and a noise destroy the enemy's ears Jaune jump in and threw a flash grenade Blake follow and slammed one of the enemies to the flor, Jaune punch another one and blake hold the last one down.
Jaune took the mask off the man. "Who are you?" Jaune said and saw a normal human.
"We're part of the white fang; we are not fighters!"
"Bullshit white fang doesn't admit humans!" Blake said.
"How do you know?" Jaune asked, but it wasn't the time. "Answer our questions about what is going on," Jaune said, giving Blake a nod to put more pressure.
"Ow, ow, ow, I fell in love with a faunus from the white fang! We have a kid together, we are being hunted by the white fang because of that, all of us." he said as jaune looked at the girl and the dude on the ground.
"That is bullshit!" Blake said, "I… the… that can't be!" Blake said, letting go of the man. "YOU ARE LYING!" Blake said and unsheathed her weapon, and swung it at the man; Jaune caught the blade with his hand and started bleeding.
Jaune looked at Blake a bit mad, "explaining." Jaune said to the Man.
"Before, the white fang was run by Gira Khan brother of Sheena, until he married another Faunus, leaving the group, the White Fang in the hands of his sister, that's when all the problems started."
Jaune never stopped looking at him. "I know all that," but he kept hearing the man as Blake grabbed Jaune's hand and started to get treated by Blake while she was crying.
"I'm sorry, Jaune," she said as she was sobbing.
He smiled gently at her and cherished her hair slowly with his other hand, "It's okay, these things happen."
The man coughed. "Oh well, afther Sheena Got in power all the human that were in the white fang started to get kill, and all the human and faunus that fell in love with each other escape and hided in a place were the wite fang will never find them we are just a Village we don't whant any trouble."
"So, who or what killed those people. if you are telling the true You people are no murderers, shit you people whanted to kill whoever Blinded your wife that is why you said those thingi get i woud probably do the same, I can help you but you need to help me." Jaune said, looking straight into the man's eyes.
"Is a dragon, one of the celestial dragons, he has been killing people and faunus, the dark dragon despair. He doesn't come to the village, but he feed on the fear that we have of him, so he stays close."
Jaune face palm "Fuck, not a celestial dragon." Jaune looked at Blake. "This dragon is close to your village, right?" he looked back at the guy.
The guy just nodded, "Okay, we'll let me talk to my partner and then take us to your village."
The guy just nodded again.
Jaune pull Blake aside he grach her head she was looking down he hade her look at him"hey, look at me Blake, I know I don't understand what happen to you, I get it, but your actions have consequences, I need you to go get reinforcements, sadly I doubt Anyone is going to help but I need you to go give the news to oz" Jaune said
"You are getting rid of me?! I-I know I overreacted, but it was a mistake." Blake said, grabbing Jaune's arm.
"What? No, no, Blake, I need ozpin here," Jaune said, smiling as he put a hand on her shoulders and smiled.
Blake wipe her tears off and nodded, and started running towards the exit of the sewers.
It was a day and a night just to get back to Beacon.
Jaune's eyes turn dark blue, and a circle starts to form. He was calm and collected
But without his eyes, Jaune was trembling.
As they were leaving for the villages, Jaune alone once again started taking out his weapon, the massive sword on hes back, the weapon that was not named the great sword, the pommel of the sword was black, the sword itself was black like the night it look heavy but it was not as heavy it use a material that allow it to be strong and big but light, a bit more heavy than a bastard swrod.
Jaune got to the village, and now he knew why they used gas masks. The smell of sulfur is potent, but Jaune saw the village and kids, the smiles of human boys and girls playing and being happy with faunus boys and girls, faunus and humans together.
"So what is up with your girlfriend?" The man ask
"Not my girlfriend, she is my partner, and I don't know I'm worried," Jaune said, and a few seconds later, he saw the man stop in the entrance of another sewer tunnel.
The man looked at jaune "You walk forward for 10 minutes and you will find the dragon."
Jaune smiled "Can you do me a favor? The girl I'm with, tell her it was nice meeting her," Jaune said with a smile, his eyes were still on.
It was a genuine smile.
a smile that comes from the heart.
The man smiles and chuckles, "Sure, kid. My name is Roman, Roman Torchwick."
Jaune waved and as he started leaving.
"Jaune branwen."
10 minutes later, Jaune got to an immense Space where the dragon was sleeping. Jaune was carrying his sword on his shoulder, his expression blank as he walked forward with one of his hands in his pocket.
the dragon woke up, noticing steps but no murderous intent.
"Those eyes do not belong to your child." The roar of the dragon spelled.
Jaune let the weight of the sword fall and slammed against the floor, the floor cracked. "How do you know?"
"I knew the arcs, they were incredible warriors, and even they were not foolish to solo fight a celestial dragon." The dragon got up. "But if is death you seek I can give you a painless one."
"One time and old fart told me that he bested a celestial dragon all on its own" Jaune started to get in a fighting position that allow him to swing his sword with one hand, hes right step backwards wile keeping his left one in place and slam The sword to his shoulder wile keeping his other hand free infront of him.
"Is that so, and who is this man you talk about?" the dragon questioned.
"Jaune arc, the last one of the arcs, my father, but I'm not just going to beat you I'm going. TO KILL YOU!" Jaune smiled and started running toward him.
"FOLISH CHILD!" the dragon slammed one of his claws were Jaune was, Jaune jump roll to the left and kept running towards the dragon.
Jaune swung his sword against the claw and chipped the scales of the dragon, but the hit pushed jaune back, he side step backwards and then rolling to the side as he saw the dragon was about to attack.
Jaune started running again, his gratesword turn into a rifle, he shot the dragon's eyes with perfect precision The dragon jolted back an swung his arm hitting Jaune, sending him to one of the walls of the swers and falling to the floor somehow still gripping his sword.
"You will pay for this kid, I will destroy you AND EVERYTHING IN THIS CITY!" the mouth of the dragon opened and shot a fireball Jaune jumped and rolled to the side, but the explosion of the fireball sent him forward.
Jaune barely got up and smiled "Is that all you got, you overgrown lizard?" Jaune said His whole back was protected by the Arc sword but still the explosion bynr his back.
Jaune's eyes opened wide and saw that the dragons started opening his mouth again.
Jaune took out the Arc and pointer it at the dragon and his smile faded. "I'm still too weak"
The dragon shot the fireball, and Jaune easily deflected the fireball. the fireball hit the wall next to the dragon "You know, dragon, I was so overjoyed, I finally had a tough opponent to test my strengt, but I wasn't sure if I was strong enough to defeat you without help. No cheap tricks, no magic sword, but now I know I need more training." Jaune got into a different pose.
Jaune didn't like it "two Sword style, crimson raven, roses dance." Jaune disappears and reappears behind the dragon and slams against it with both swords, then disappears and appears on the ground and swings again the hit is grater braking the scales of the dragon in his right arm,
The dragon panic and started swinging randomly He was scared, "You are nothing, i will not die here, NOT YET ARC!"
You see The dragon didn't see a human at this point he saw a beast, a beast that radiated with power, he fought the Arc's once, and was a lengendary fight, but after killing 4 out of 5 Arc's he found out what fear is, the arc stopplaing defence he became feral like he was a diffren person like he was a an Arc with the fighting stile of a Rose.
Dragons fear nothing, but right now, Jaune Arc was an exception.
Jaune appeared in one of the dragon's arms and started slashing it, the sound of scales against steel was of you Slaming two steel rods together.
The barrage of attacks was endless. The fighting lasted a full day The village people were hiding, but they could hear the whole battle.
Roars of the dragon, not with rage, he was asking for help, he was afraid… he was begging for its life.
Blake came back with ozpin and 10 other huntsmen The thing that they found was the corpse of the dragon, and Jaune sitting on the head of the deat dragon unconscious, with 3rd Deggre burns, with cuts that will kill anyone, he was barely breathing.
Blake got close to him and saw that he was smiling. Then raven ran towards him and hugged him, she cried and said that she was so worried about him.
Ozpin and everyone else were shocked to say the least.
A full week pass,ed and jaune woke up. he was fully healed Turns out the Arcs are also capable of healing really quickly.
Jaune was naked, the only thing that was covering him were bandages, and he started to remove them. he was moving every muscle in his body were the bandages were checking for wounds, but only found scars.
The door of the infirmary swung open. Mr Arc, are you awake You have…oh, you are awake. Mr. Arc put some clothes on!" The two girls and a old man came in either way as the nurse was looking for jaunes clothes.
"Oh hey Rai, you two, Blake, and" jaune squinted his eyes "ozpin," jaune said with venom in his voice he cover himself "pervert". Ozpin just rolled his eyes and Blake put her hand on her face, but she still had a crack on her hand where she coud look.
"Get out of here, you peeping naaasty," jaune said trowing a pillow to ozpin..
Ozpin turn around "Call me when you're presentable, kid." Jaune started to put a bathrobe that the nurse gave him.
"Dragon!" Blake said looking at the bottom half of Jaune.
Raven smiled and said "Yeah, the first time I saw it, we were kids, but didn't think much of it." Raven said with her arms crossed and a smug smile.
"And you are?" Blake said with venom in her voice.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Raven, I'm Jaune's childhood friend. I got to say I'm a bit worry, why was Jaune was alone. I think you left him alone. How do I know you are not going to leave him alone again? he almost died because of your," Raven said
Jaune looked around. "I ask her to g-"
"Not right now, jaune." Raven said, putting a hand up.
"Excuse-" jaune said, but got cut off by Raven.
"How can we trust you are not going to kill jaune next?" Raven said.
Blake crossed her arms to "what? I don't care who you are to Jaune, but you are speaking nonsense, I wanted to stay, I felt horrible when he said he needed me to come back and get help." Blake said.
"She does have a point there, I asked her to go b-" jaune got cut off again.
"Not right now jaune," Blake said
"wha-"
"I wanted to go back and just be by his side even if that was the last time I see him!" Blake said, blushing.
Raven smiled smugly "Is that so? What do you think jaune?"
"Oh, so I can talk now," Jaune said, putting his pants on.
Jaune started putting his shirt on and Blake looks at his scars, and her mouth started watering.
"Ozpin, you can come in," Jaune said.
Ozpin came into the room "Alright let's get to business. I know you almost died in your last mission, but I need you to go to Atlas We have sightings of elves attacking Atlas military for no reason, and the Arc were good friends of the elves, so maybe you could talk to them. Mrs. Rose will accompany you with her partner, Mrs. Snhee" ozpin said and looked at Jaune with a serious face.
Jaune smiled, "You want to kill me." jaune said, pointing at him.
Blake and Raven looked at him with a shocked look.
Ozpin also changed his expression.
"You want me to die because you want the credit for killing the thing that scares you the most, the thing that beat you years ago." Jaune smiled and sit down.
"You did your homework, I see," ozpin said.
"That you were humiliated by a trash like a celestial dragon, yeah, my real father told me about it, you see I have a connection to my ancestors, tales of old are a common Thing they talk about," jaune said, crossing his arms.
"You tried to kill me when I was unconscious, but because either Blake or Raven were here 24/7, you couldn't."
"You little shit, you a mere child thinks is tough shit, I whas the strongest once I will be the strongest again," ozpin Said looking at Jaune with murderus Intent.
"Aww, little old wizard got on his feelings, I know the elf's hate humans even the Arcs but shure I'll go talk to an entire race that hates me in their little magical island to the south, then what you whant me to talk to the other rases I can go grumble to grumble against the golem race." Jaune said grabbing his weapons, walked to ozpin and wisper to him "but if something goes wrong and people die because of your I will personally kill you, look for your next host and kill him to, you parasite!"
Ozpin's eyes open, "you know." He whispered.
"Like you said, I did my homework," jaune smiled.
Jaune left and found himself going to the cafeteria with Raven holding he's Arm looking at Blake defensively.
"I didn't know ravens and cats had beef because of a rotten piece of meat on the pavement,"Jaune said, looking at Blake Her cat eyes perked up. She was in attack mode. Jaune sighted
Jaune ordered his food, and finally he had a moment of peace because the cat and the raven left to have a spar I wonder why?
Jaune was eating his burger in peace when he heard "ow, you are hurting me, please stop."
And then the chuckles of 3 boys and he looked around and saw something that made jaune's blood boil a boy grabbin a rabbit faunus ears and pulling them. "see I told you they are real, you like it when I pull them you whore".the boy said he had the crest of the Winchester family, and Jaune smashed the table, and made everyone looked at him, except the boys. they all looked in fear at how jaune was approaching the Winchester boy.
When Jaune was behind the boy, the other 3 guys looked at Jaune with fear.
"That's a funny joke, let me try." Jaune said.
The Winchester guy turned around, but it was too lat.e jaune grabbed Winchester by his ear and pulled him dragging him by his ear "Hey dude, what the hell?" Winchester said
"Not that funny hu," Jaune said as he let go of his ear and grabbed his hair when he got to the middle of the cafeteria. jaune let go of his hair. "you have done it now, I'll have you executed," the boy on the floor said. Jaune didn't care.
Jaune kicked the boy's face, his aura flared, as Jaune slammed the guy's face into the ground. Jaune started stomping his head.
"IS THAT FUNNY ENOUGH FOR YOU, WINCHESTER!"
In every stomp the guy manage to say "I'm sorry"
"What? you said something shit head!" Jaune said and kick him in the abdomen "Winchester has been the root of every problem in vale your family Is weak but because you are royals you think you are above everyone." Jaune said as he smiled.
Everyone looked horrified as the Winchester boy pleaded for his life.
Jaune received a shot from his side a shot that bounce from his prosthesis.
"You, what are you doing to cardy?" a red head said with green eyes.
Jaune looked at her, His eyes were on, Jaune turn them on, but not because He was scare,d but because he wanted to inflict as much fear as he coul.d his eyes were a hollow blue.
"Is that any of your business" Jaune said with a calm tone of voice that sent shivers down the redhead girl's spine.
"H-h- he is my friend and I will fight for my friends."
Everyone started murmuring something about the invincible girl.
"Ah, so you are the invincible girl, 4 years champion, the strongest warrior in the world, Pyrrha Nikos, hair and only child of the main branch of the Nikos family." Jaune remove his feet from the winchester kid "so this sack of shit is cardy winchester."
The bunny girl got close to Jaune and grabbed his arm t-thank you for the help." She said pulling Jaunes sleeve.
Jaune gently stroked her hair. "No problem, bunny girl, you don't deserve that treatment for having such beautiful ears." Jaune said, smiling at her.
Pirrha looked at this and she was pissed "what?! You did that for a faunnus, you beat my poor cady just because of a faunnus." She said her expression changing.
I heard this guy was your fiance, hehe, I'm sorry for your fate." Jaune said, walking away with the bunny girl trailing after him.
pyrrha went to tend Cardy, he passed out mid-beating.
Jaune looked at the girl following him, "Is everything okay?"
"Well, I was wondering if- if you have someone, you-you know" the girl said
"I don't."
"Then…"
"No, I'm sorry but I'm not looking for someone, I helped you because no one should treat anyone like that, I don't want anything in exchange," Jaune said his expression was sunny, but there was a tone of seriousness in his voice.
"Thank you anyway, I'll see you around Jaune" Jaune smiled and waved at her.
Jaune came back to his dorm and Blake was there she was unharmed "What happened?" Jaune asked.
"Instead of fighting we talked,"Blake said, not taking her eyes off her book
" And?" jaune asked.
"Whe came to an agreement." Blake said jaune sit on his bed.
"Cool, cool… What were you fighting for?" Jaune said as he looked at Blake.
Blake smiled as she read her book, "She did say you were oblivious." Blake said.
"Not really, I'm really precise in combat," Jaune said, a bit confused.
"Yeah, but that's it," Blake said.
Jaune was even more confused and never received any answer.
A week later, they took a bullhead to Atlas Academy.
"Jaune, let's fight!" a small girl said, jumping with a big cythe in her hands and a devious smile said.
Jaune was sitting down with Blake next to him, she was sleeping on hes shoulder.
"no." Jaune said drily.
blake then fell to Jaune's lap, and Jaune put a hand on her head.
"Come on, the cat can wai,t" Ruby said.
Jaune turned amazingly fast towards her and hes eyes a pure blue were staring at her.
In Ruby's eyes, there was emptiness and in that emptiness there were those two blue eyes.
"No," Jaune said a bit harsher.
Then he turned off his eyes and started to pat Blake on her head as he started smiling again.
