On their way to Shalour City for Ash & Alex's next Gym battle, our heroes meet Gym Leader Korrina and her partner Lucario. Korrina agreed to let our heroes accompany her to Geosenge Town to witness Lucario's Mega Evolution. Now, they've arrived in town to search for the Mega Stone known as the Lucarionite.
"So, that's Geosenge Town." Ash said as they noticed a town off in the distance as the group had made it.
"Whoa!" Pikachu said as he was amazed they arrived.
"Ah! We're here, Dedenne!" Bonnie said as she was excited and told Dedenne in her bag. Dedenne popped out.
"Oaaah." Dedenne yawned as he was awake.
"What a cute town!" Serena said as she seems like this was a beautiful town.
"This does seem like it. So our goal is simple right?" Alex said as they knew the goal.
"Yeah. So, we're supposed to find the Mega Stone here, right?" Ash said as he looked at Alex then Korrina.
"..." Korrina was looking down as she felt like a shadow had casted over her eyes as the group looked at her, she seemed either upset or scared.
"Korrina? You alright?" Alex said as everyone noticed her head was down.
"Korrina?" Ash asked, they got an answer know.
"Uh, is she ok?" Pikachu asked in worry.
"What's wrong?" Bonnie said to the gym leader.
"Finally..." Korrina whispered out, nobody caught it.
"Are you alright?" Clemont said then suddenly.
"Finally, I'm here. YEEAAAH!" Korrina cried out as she was very excited to be here at last.
"Whoa!" Ash said as he and Serena was surprised by Korrina's reaction.
"Oh, wow!" Serena said as she was stunned.
"Someone's too excited." Alex said as he was caught off-guard.
"Yup! We did it! We're in Geosenge Town, Lucario!" Korrina cried out as she was jumping up and down excitingly.
"We've made it." Lucario said happily.
"We won a hundred battles in a row. Now, it's time. Time for you to Mega Evolve!" Korrina said as they made their goal and they were close to the next step. Mega Evolution.
"I'm ready." Lucario said.
"Okay, let's go!" Korrina said as she zoomed past the group happily.
"Hey! Hold on, Korrina!" Ash said as they followed her.
"Slow down!" Pikachu cried out after Korrina.
"Calm down! Let's take it easy!" Alex cried out as they followed her.

EPISODE 34: The Trial Of The Lucarionite! (Alex)
Geosenge Town
"..." Many people were there at Geosenge Town, seeing all the special stones and artifacts that Geosenge Town had held for them and even asking as our heroes looked into the town itself.
"Korrina, I know you're here for Lucarionite. But do you know where to find it?" Ash said, asking her.
"Not a clue." Korrina said as she looked around.
"But, if you don't know where it is, how are you going to look for it?" Serena
"Grandfather told me that if we came to Geosenge Town, we'd figure it out. And my grandfather's really smart!" Korrina said as she looked at the group and told them.
"Figure it out?! Oh...!" Ash cried out as he then groaned that they'd have to help.
"Well, guess that means we're gonna be here for a while." Alex said as he scratched his head.
"I guess Ash and Korrina are the types who like to just jump into things." Serena said as she chuckled.
"Maybe you both are similar in that case." Alex said as they had some similarities with each other.
"That's why you two get along." Bonnie said as a tease.
"I wonder if it's personal or as friends." Alex thought on what Bonnie said, then Serena focused on something.
"..." Serena noticed the store had lots of wonderful stones as she gazed at them from the window.
"Ah! Look at all these beautiful stones!" Serena said as she gazed at all the different beautiful stones.
"I guess lots of stores here sell Evolution stones." Clemont said as he wondered about evolution stones.
"I want one! I want one!" Bonnie said as she was eager to get one for her.
"Hmm, I'm not sure if I would buy one. I would probably lose it later on." Alex said as he wanted one also but pondered about losing it.
"Huh?" The group said as they heard the door open and out came a man.
"I just got me a Sun Stone!" A Male person said as he exited the store and was happy he got a Sun Stone he held in his hand.
"Come out, Helioptile!" The Man said as he brought out his Helioptile from its Poke Ball.
"Oh?" Helioptile said as it looked around.
"Evolve!" The Man said as it showed him the Sun Stone.
"Yay!" Helioptile cried out as it touched it, then a blue bright light surrounded it and it evolved into a Heliolisk!
"Yahoo! Heliolisk!" The Heliolisk cried out happily as it evolved.
"Alright!" The man excitingly said as he was happy.
"Helioptile evolved." Serena said, seeing it.
"So, that's how you get Heliolisk." Alex said as he saw how to get Helioptile.
"Awesome!" Ash said as he was amazed.
"Hey, Clemont. How did your Helioptile evolve?" Bonnie said as she asked Clemont about Helioptile of his own.
"What...?" Alex said as he looked at Bonnie oddly.
"I evolved Helioptile into Heliolisk with a Sun Stone as well." Clemont
"Oh yeah. Ash. I was wondering, isn't Pikachu gonna evolve?" Bonnie questioned to Alex's friend.
"Oh, Bonnie. That. Well..." Alex said as he knew that answer.
"Evolve? You see, Pikachu doesn't actually wanna evolve. Right?" Ash said as he told Bonnie that Pikachu won't evolve at all.
"Right." Pikachu said happily.
"Wow, Okay." Bonnie said, being surprised.
"Yeah, I've known the little guy for quite some time." Alex said, knowing Pikachu very well.
"Now, let's hurry and find that Lucarionite super quick!" Korrina said as she looked at Lucario happily.
"Right away!" Lucario said as he was ready to find it.
"I suggest we all split up and search every store in town." Clemont suggested to the others.
"Right." Ash said.
"Let's find ourselves a Lucarionite!" Alex said as they went off to find the Lucarionite by asking other store owners.
"Sorry, but I'm afraid not." The Shop Owner said as he didn't think there was one.
"Are you serious?" Korrina said, being shocked.
"Nah, never heard of it!" Another Shop Owner said.
"Really?" Clemont said, being surprised.
"Bother." Bonnie muttered out.
"No. I'm very sorry." A third shop owner shrugged as he never heard of it.
"Hmm..." Ash sighed as it was a fail.
"Never heard of it, sounds made up." A fourth shop owner said, not being certain.
"Oh man. Botheration." Alex said as he sighed.
"Perhaps one of these might interest you instead." A fifth shop owner said as she offered different stones that seems like jewels.
"Ooooh!" Serena cried out as she was interested in the stones.
"Hey, Clemont. Did you have any luck?" Ash asked, as everyone was in the center of the town. Clemont and Bonnie arrived to meet up with Korrina, Ash, Serena and Alex.
"I'm afraid not." Clemont said, shaking his head.
"Man. We searched everywhere in town and nobody knows what Lucarionite is or where it's at." Alex said as he searched hard.
"Yeah, every single shop owner I spoke to said they had never even heard of Lucarionite." Clemont said, knowing the shop owners never heard.
"Hold on! My grandfather told me that we'd find the Lucarionite right here in this town!" Korrina said as she realized that Geosenge was the place.
"Well, I suppose that unless Lucarionite was very difficult to find, we would have heard about the Mega Evolution of lots of Lucario." Clemont said as he knew maybe the stones were here but they might have run out.
"Ooohh..." Korrina groaned as she hung her head down.
"I guess that means they ran out." Alex said as they maybe had no more.
"So, that means...?" Ash said looking at Clemont.
"I'd say it must be a very rare stone. It seems awfully hard to find." Clemont explained, maybe it was hard.
"You know, like the Gardevoirite with Diantha, do you think it must have been here also? With Mega Stones for that specific Pokémon?" Alex said, wondering if Geosenge had the place for stones like Gardevoirite since Diantha had one.
"Perhaps, but. I'm not sure." Clemont said as he wasn't sure.
"So, then how do we continue our search?" Serena said, wondering how should they continue with their mission.
"We continue to ask until we never give up!" Alex said as Korrina shot her head up.
"Wait! Now, I remember what Grandfather told me." Korrina said as she remembered as a flashback occured.
Flashback
"Now, listen, Korrina. When the time comes, you will understand what you need. And then, you'll both be ready for Lucario's Mega Evolution." Gurkinn said as he told Korrina about when patience will happen.
"Hmm..." Korrina muttered as she wondered when she will be ready. Then she nodded.
"It's not going to be easy. That's part of your training, too." Gurkinn said as he told her about how hard it will be.
End of Flashback
"That's right. We can't lose heart now! What's right for me. Finding it by ourselves will make Mega Evolution possible!" Korrina said as she realize there was no giving up now.
"We can't quit now." Lucario said as they cannot give up.
"That's the spirit!" Bonnie said to Korrina.
"Sure is. Too early to give up." Ash said as he tried to keep up Korrina's spirit.
"That's our spirit." Pikachu said as Ash looked at Pikachu.
"But, we've still gotta figure out what we're gonna do." Ash said as realize they need a lead still.
"Oh, right..." Pikachu said as he sighed when suddenly.
"Excuse me, young lady." A man's voice said as he approached the group.
"Huh?" The group said as they were approached by someone.
"The name's McGinty. I'm a photographer. How about I take a picture of you all? As a souvenir photo." McGinty said as he introduced himself and wanted to do something nice for the group.
"Hmm, i'm not sure. We're busy." Alex said as knew they didn't wanna lose time.
"No, it's what I do. And I know you'll be very happy with it." McGinty said as he was honest with them having a photo.
"Souvenir photo? Oh, boy!" Bonnie exclaimed as she was happy to have one.
"I love one!" Dedenne said on top of Bonnie's head.
"That's a great idea. Since, we're all here together then we'll have a nice picture as a memento." Serena said as it felt like a good idea.
"You think so?" Clemont said as he was nervous about one.
"Let's go for it and take a group photo." Ash said as he took the idea.
"I'll save it for me when the journey is over as a remembrance." Alex said as he wants one.
"Why not?" Ash said looking at Alex then Pikachu.
"Yeah." Pikachu said.
"Alright, we're in Geosenge Town and I wanna show grandfather that we made it all the way!" Korrina said as she wanted more proof of making it all the way.
"Okay, line up over there." McGinty said as he was pointing to Bonnie to move a bit.
"Okay!" Bonnie said as she moved over.
"Now, squeeze in just a wee bit more." McGinty said as he made a squeeze gesture, everyone was smiling as Serena slid close to Ash as it gave room for Alex, who smiled, Korrina did too but Clemont was shaking. Bonnie noticed this.
"Huh? Hey, come on, Clemont. Don't you know how to smile?" Bonnie said as she told Clemont to be calm.
"Quit acting shy. This is embarassing." Alex said looking over at Clemont.
"I am smiling..." Clemont muttered out from his weak smile.
"Okay, give me some big smiles, everyone!" McGinty said as he gave a thumbs up.
"..." Everyone remained the same as they were as McGinty took a picture of the group making it to Geosenge.
"I got it! Now, we'll print this up right away. Please make it quick, okay?" McGinty said as he promised to give them photos.
"Mhm." McGinty's partner said as he walked to the building to print multiple photos.
"Not bad for picture, huh?" Alex said as he looked at Korrina.
"Not bad indeed! You seem calm enough." Korrina said as she looked at Alex with smiles, seeing how calm he was.
"Do you, by any chance, know anything about locating Evolution Stones?" Clemont asked the photographer about the evolution special stones.
"Evolution Stones are out there. In a cave that's hidden inside of that mountain." McGinty said as he was curious about what Clemont said. Then he an idea.
"Wow, a mountain cave?" Clemont said as he was intrigued.
"Up there?" Alex said as he looked up.
"And, sir, do you know anything about Lucarionite? I need to find it right away!" Korrina said as she asked McGinty for the Lucarionite.
"Lucarionite, eh? I don't think i've ever heard of that before." McGinty said as he pondered then gave his answered.
"Oh...! Thank you." Korrina said as she sighed and thanked McGinty.
"Let's try to go, Korrina." Alex said as Korrina nodded happily.
"Although before you go. I do remember hearing about a cave where it's possible to locate a special kind of Evolution Stone." McGinty said as he remembered something about the caves up above Geosenge having special stones.
"You mean it?!" Korrina said as she was surprised to hear it.
"Please tell us where it is!" Ash asked as he wanted to hear about it.
"Where? Where? Where?!" Bonnie said as she looked all over for it.
"If you go even farther into the mountain than the cave I already told you about, you'll find a small entrance to another cave. That's where it is." McGinty said as he pointed to the mountain that there was a cave in it that they can find it.
"That might be just what were looking for." Clemont said as they knew what to go for.
"Maybe. Let's check it out, Korrina!" Ash said as he knew they would have to go there.
"Um-hm." Korrina said happily.
"Off we go!" Alex cheerily cried but before they could.
"You know, it's said that terrible things can happen to people who are not worthy enough to enter." McGinty said as he told the group the tale, getting their attention.
"What...? Repeat that...?" Alex said as he suddenly began to quiver.
"Huh...? Terrible things...?" Serena eeped out as she was scared on hearing it.
"Or an adventure?" Bonnie said on what McGinty.
"I can't tell you for sure. But there's some evidence that terrible things really do happen there. And that's why the people from this town never, ever venture into that cave!" McGinty said as he warned the group in hopes of scaring them about the cave they need to find some sort of stone.
"Whoa..." The Group were shaken and worried what McGinty had said.
"I think you must be wrong... Ahah..." Serena shakily icked out as a slight chuckle.
"I'm not sure..." Alex said as he shivered since McGinty was scaring them.
"It can't be a cave that's as scary as all that!" Serena said as she tried to counter-argue Alex.
"You're wrong! I know this is it. Just you wait, Lucarionite. I'm gonna find you in a flash!" Korrina argued as she knew that there was no way they would give up on the Lucarionite easily.
"Well, im not sure." Alex said as Korrina was excited.
"Come on, let's go!" Korrina said as she was eager more and more. She looked at Lucario too.
"Yeah!" Lucario said as he was pumped.
"But, wait!" McGinty called out to them, stopping them.
"Huh?" Korrina said as she and Lucario looked over at McGinty.
"You forgot your photos aren't quite ready yet." McGinty said as he reminded them about their photos.
"Oh, guess you're right." Korrina said as the group all took each of their photo from McGinty. Meanwhile Team Rocket hid nearby hidden from one of the stones, overhearing it.
"Well, isn't that interesting?" James said as they were interested on hearing what the group was trying to hear about McGinty and the Lucariontie.
"If we can get to that cave first, we'll be able to lay claim to the Mega Stone first!" Jessie said as they could get the Lucarionite.
"And pinch Pikachu in the process!" Meowth said as this was another plan.
"Another rung on the ladder to success!" James said as it could mean a lot for them.
"And, we'll be praised by the Boss, no less!" Jessie said as they would be praised if they got the stone without a problem.
"For Team Rocket!" Wobbuffet said as they sneakily tip-toed out of their hiding spot in order to get to the Mega Stone.
"Here. Your picture's all done!" McGinty said as he held multiple small pictures of the group with photos.
"Wow! haha! It looks awesome! Thanks a lot." Ash said as they all had one photo, ash was so happy.
"Aaah. Another memory of the recollection to Kalos." Alex said as he held the picture and put it in his small coat pocket to keep it safe and sound.
"Thanks. What a great souvenir!" Clemont said as he had one too.
"I can keep it forever!" Bonnie said as she was happy to keep her picture.
"Yup. I can't wait to show it to my grandfather. Don't you think he'll just love it?" Korrina said as she looked at it, then she showed Alex.
"Indeed." Alex said as Korrina put her photo somewhere in her skirt.
"Hmm..." Serena blushed happily as she looked at the group.
"Serena, we're going!" Ash said as it got serena's attention.
"Huh? Oh, right." Serena said as she put her photo in a pocket of her skirt, then they headed towards the mountains, as McGinty looked at the group and looked up to the Mountains.
"It worked out just as we planned, didn't it, Gurkinn?" McGinty said as he was glad as it was a plan.
With Team Rocket.
"Okay. Bring them a little more to the center." Jessie said as James and Meowth had two giant rocks that seemed to show a cave that was in the mountains and guided them.
"Mmmphhh..." James and Meowth grunted as they managed to close the gap and opened a hole for them.
"How's that?" Meowth said as they seemed tired out.
"It's perfect! Those clueless twerps will never know there's a cave lurking back there!" Jessie said as they snuck through the gaps, then James did too/
"Now, they'll do what they always do. They'll take the wrong way, of course." James said as they were getting an advantage.
"And while they run around like wackos, we'll be in the cave. Mega Stone, ho!" Meowth said as they knew they were dumb. He snuck through the gap also.
"And when, they finally do show up we'll swoop down on them like flying types!" James said as they were gonna take it.
"Catching Pikachu will finally be on our resume." Jessie said as she snuck through last. Then Wobbuffet returned for a moment.
"Yay!" Team Rocket cried out as they went on ahead for the Lucarionite.
A Little Later with Our Group.
"So, this is where they mine Evolution Stones." Korrina said as they stood on a cliffside that they looked over the mines.
"I can't wait to get a closer look." Clemont said as they looked more at the mines.
"But we should focus on one thing first." Alex said to the group.
"We'd better concentrate on Lucarionite, first." Ash said as they had to focus on topic at hand.
"Yes, you're right." Clemont said as he was certain this was their goal.
"Where do we look first?" Alex said as he was wondering.
"Didn't Mr. McGinty say there was a cave located even farther back?" Clemont said as he recalled something.
"Farther back, right? Come on, let's go!" Korrina said as she was certain and hurried on.
"Right with you." Lucario said as the group followed Korrina, unknown to the group they passed the cave that was hidden by Team Rocket.
"Slow down, Korrina." Ash cried out as they were following her.
"Wait for us!" Pikachu said as they continued to go the wrong way.
With Team Rocket in the cave farther ahead.
"..." It was dark in the cave as Team Rocket searched all over the cave as Jessie used a flashlight, Wobbuffet was scared.
"Oh, please, there's nothing scary in here." Jessie sneered as she held a flashlight in her hands.
"What a silly thing to say. 'Terrible things can happen to people who aren't worthy.' Dumb." James said as they didn't seem like the story with McGinty was false and hopes to scare others but not them.
"A real 'Duh.' I can guarantee that Lucarionite is just waiting quietly to be found and cared for by Team Rocket." Meowth said as chimed in, knowing they would take the Lucarionite.
"Waaab!" Wobbuffet cried out in worry.
"Huh? What, Wobbuffet?" Jessie asked, wondering what's up with Wobbuffet.
"Waa! Waaab!" Wobbuffet cried out as it seemed to point to a door in the cave.
"Hey! It looks like some sort of a doorway!" Meowth said as they approached the cave.
"And it's begging for us to open it." James said as they smirked and nodded.
"So, let's." Jessie said as she and James opened the door and pushed it.
"Ooohhh!" Team Rocket cried as they saw something from the door.
Back with our Heroes
"Hmm! That was a dead end. Wonder if we went the wrong way." Ash said as the group were walking back on the cliff-side, wondering this wasn't the right way.
"I thought we were just supposed to go straight ahead." Serena said as she was confused.
"It's possible, we may have missed a turn, or something." Clemont said as they went the wrong way.
"Sorry, Korrina. Back to the beginning we go." Alex said as he looked over at Korrina.
"No! I wanna find that cave! I wanna find that Lucarionite right now!" Korrina cried out and began to pout. Lucario's aura sensed something.
"Huh? Wait." Lucario said as he sensed the stone, then looked at the giant rocks.
"What is it, Lucario?" Korrina asked as the group stopped and looked at Lucario.
"What's up?" Ash said, wondering what's up.
"Did Lucario sense something?" Alex asked.
"Errurrggh!" Lucario shouted as it used Power-Up Punch and broke the giant rocks that Team Rocket managed to block the way for them.
"Look at that!" Korrina said as they managed to find the cave entrance.
"There's a pathway in there." Serena said as she was surprised.
"It's no wonder we didn't see it." Clemont said, wondering how it was missed.
"Maybe someone hid it on purpose." Bonnie wondered, who did it on them?
"Well, maybe this is test for finding the secret first." Alex said.
"Whatever, I say the thing that really counts is Lucario found it." Ash said as he knew Lucario found it.
"Yup. Great, Lucario!" Korrina said as she was proud of Lucario.
"Heh." Lucario chuckled as they group went through the cave entrance.
"..." The group continued on the pathway onwards more and more as Lucario managed to pick up a sense of something.
"Ah!" Lucario cried out as it could sense the Lucarionite more and more.
"Feel something?" Ash said as he wondered if Lucario was feeling something.
"I wonder what Lucario is sensing this time." Clemont said as he wondered about Lucario.
"Danger, maybe?" Serena said as she was concerned.
"Hard to say." Clemont said, Lucario continued on ahead.
"Lucario?" Korrina said as she watched Lucario move onward.
"This way." Lucario said as he continued.
"Huh?" Korrina and Ash said as Lucario continued to walk on his own, then he managed to find a cave through the walkway as the group followed and saw what Lucario saw.
"Look, it's a cave!" Ash said as they found another one.
"We found it!" Bonnie said as she was excited.
"We're getting close to it." Alex said, knowing they're close.
"Lucario, you're amazing! How did you know?" Korrina said as she was impressed with her buddy.
"Maybe it's good." Alex said as he wondered if Lucario's sense was good.
"Well? Why are we waiting? Let's get it, Korrina!" Alex said as he wanted to continue.
"Lucario must've sensed the Lucarionite. I've got it! It's got to be somewhere inside this cave." Korrina said as she stopped Alex for a moment.
"Huh?" The others said as they looked at Korrina.
"Like Grandfather said. He told me Lucario and I would find the Lucarionite together. That's it, right?" Korrina said as she recalled about searching together.
"Mhm." Lucario nodded happily.
"Amazing." Ash said as he was impressed.
"Yep!" Pikachu said with Ash.
"Yes, but we won't know for sure unless we go in and find out, right?" Clemont asked as he wondered if they should go in.
"Okay, let's go!" Ash said as they should move.
"Yeah!" Alex said happily!
"But, it's pitch black in there." Serena said as the cave was very dark though.
"We can travel through, right? My Magnemite can spark himself a light." Alex said as he then pulled out a Poke Ball.
"Not a big one though." Serena said as she knew Magnemite's light was weak though.
"In that case, I say, 'Clemontic Gear, on!'" Clemont said as he pulled out a machine from his backpack and made a satellite flashlight.
"Way to go, Clemont!" Ash said as he was impressed with Clemont having a light for them.
"Now! Let's go!" Alex said as they were ready to go.
"...Yeeeeeeiiieee!" Team Rocket's voices cried out, unknown to the group it scared them.
"Uh-oh! What was that sound?!" Serena said as she wondered what that was.
"What's in there?" Ash said as they were scared.
"A g-ghost?" Clemont shakily said as he was scared.
"A m-monster?" Alex said as he wondered.
"Don't be silly you two!" Bonnie said as inside the cave it was a scary voice.
"GET OUT!" The voice bellowed as it seemingly threw Team Rocket out of the cave with all of it's power one by one.
"Why does this happen to me!?" Jessie cried out as she was being thrown via full force.
"Or me!?" James cried out as he was next then Meowth then Wobbuffet that got our heroes to move out of the way all scared and sent them flying.
"We're blasting off again!" Team Rocket cried out being sent flown away.
"Not fun!" Wobbuffet cried as they vanished once more from the power of something.
"Was that..." Serena said as they looked up and realized what it was.
"Team Rocket?" Clemont said as he realized who was it that put the boulders and such.
"Why though?" Pikachu asked as he was mad.
"They must've snuck in ahead of us." Ash said as he wasn't pleased.
"They're so sneaky!" Bonnie madly pouted as Korrina freaked out.
"Ah! The Lucarionite!" Korrina said as she realized the Mega Stone was in danger now.
"Wait." Lucario said as he stopped Korrina.
"Huh, Lucario?" Korrina said as Ash caught on.
"I think there's something back there." Ash said as he wondered if something was there.
"So what? We can't just run away. We gotta get the Lucarionite, now!" Korrina said as she knew they can't back down.
"Follow us." Lucario said as he went into the cave, Korrina too.
"We're right behind you, Korrina." Clemont said as he followed alongside.
"It could be dangerous. Keep close." Ash said as he looked at the others.
"Stay with each other." Alex said as he went in the cave, the others were hesitant.
"Uh-huh.." Serena gutted out as she was scared. Ash went in.
"Aaah...!" Serena and Bonnie cried out as they both went too close to Ash.
"Protect us, okay, Pikachu?" Bonnie asked, being scared.
"No worries." Pikachu said as Alex looked back and rolled his eyes.
Inside the Cave.
"Something's growling back there." Serena said as she heard some sounds from the cave.
"I'm sure it's just the wind." Clemont said as he was certain it wasn't anger.
"Huh?" The group cried out as they noticed the doorway was opened from team rocket earlier and it seemed like the end of the cave.
"What's that?" Ash said as he noticed the open doorway.
"Seems like a doorway." Alex said as he observed it, Korrina went ahead.
"..." The group approached the door, Korrina and Lucario stuck their heads out to the open section and peeked. Inside was a cave with rocks and water. But among the long walk was on top of a pedestal. And had a huge rock that was Orange-like with a symbol inside among the top of the steps. Korrina and Lucario gasped as they knew what it is! The Lucarionite!
"Lucarionite!" Korrina said as she knew there was the stone.
"Check it out!" Ash said as it was right there before them.
"That's a big stone for a Lucarionite." Alex said as he realized how big it was for a simple Lucarionite.
"Is it really?" Serena said as she saw it.
"It's beautiful!" Bonnie said as she was impressed with the stone.
"I knew it." Korrina said as she was proud. It was right there before their own eyes.
"It's like the Lucarionite was calling out to Lucario!" Clemont said as he realized what Lucario felt with it's sense.
"Great! Now, Lucario will be able to Mega Evolve!" Ash said as this was their chance.
"Let's go, quick!" Korrina said as she and Lucario hurried to get it, but something above didn't allow that.
"Raaarrghhh!" A Blaziken cried out as it swooped down from above and tried to attack.
"Huh? Hmmph!" Lucario uttered out before blocking it as it jumped back right in front of the stone. Blocking it like a guardian.
"What's that?!" Ash said as he was shocked to see the Pokémon, Alex realized it.
"A Blaziken!?" Alex said as he was stunned to see another Hoenn Pokémon in Kalos.
"Rarruggh!" Lucario said as he was ready for the challenge.
"Hummph! You will not get the stone." Blaziken said as he got in position, looking at the Lucarionite and glaring at Lucario in a desperate attempt.
"Are you okay, Lucario?" Korrina asked as she hoped her partner was okay.
"What was all that?" Ash said as he wondered what it was.
"Why is a Blaziken here?" Alex said as he wondered why Blaziken was here now.
"Hold on, Blaziken?" Serena said as she pulled out her Pokedex and scanned it real quick.
"Blaziken. The Blaze Pokémon. And the final evolved form of Torchic. Blaziken leaves its opponents charred with it's fiery punches." Serena's Pokedex said as it read about Blaziken's data and told the typing with it being very powerful of a Pokémon to guard.
"What's a Blaziken doing here?" Clemont said as he wondered why Blaziken was here.
"Maybe Blaziken threw Team Rocket out of the cave!" Ash exclaimed, maybe it was mad because of Team Rocket earlier.
"Well, that's pretty strong. Glad it saved the Lucarionite then." Alex said as he knew it was bad, but it was good it was protecting them.
"Help! I'm scared!" Bonnie cried out as she held onto Clemont, being scared.
"Is it mad?" Serena asked, wondering why it attacked.
"Why is it mad? It doesn't look happy." Alex said, what was Blaziken doing.
"Hmph, You will not get Lucarionite. I protect it." Blaziken said as he eyed the Lucarionite once again and his fiery fists were raring to go.
"I see, if we want the Lucarionite, first, we're going to have to defeat Blaziken in a Pokémon battle!" Korrina said as she realized there was one more hurdle left for them to get the Lucarionite!
"Hmph." Lucario said as wasn't giving up the Lucarionite.
"Test me, I dare you." Blaziken sneered as it didn't want to cave in.
"I think you should stand back. This is the last hurdle, before Lucario can Mega Evolve." Korrina said as she gave Ash her pack to challenge the Blaziken.
"I hear you." Ash said as he grabbed Korrina's backpack and took a few steps back, staying close with the others.
"Do you need help?" Alex asked, Korrina shook her head.
"No, this is a battle on my own." Korrina said as she had this by herself.
"Good luck, Korrina." Ash said as he wanted to wish her good luck.
"Thanks, but there's no way we're gonna lose now." Korrina said as she knew that they can't lose, she continued moving on through the cave.
"..." Ash stepped back as to stay close with his friends. Korrina and Lucario continued on. They approached Blaziken as Korrina asked.
"Hello, Blaziken. My name's Korrina. I challenge you for the Lucarionite. So Lucario can Mega Evolve!" Korrina said as she introduced herself and challenged the Pokemon to a battle.
"I accept your challenge!" Blaziken smirked as it was ready to go.
"Heh, Battle begin! Lucario, Power-Up Punch!" Korrina said as she went for the Battle and made her move.
"Erruggh!" Lucario cried out as they quickly went after Blaziken.
"There's their first attack!" Ash said, knowing the move.
"Yay!" Bonnie cheered on.
"Urggh! Blaze Kick!" Blaziken gushered out as he blocked it, then kicked Lucario.
"Grreeuggh!" Lucario cried out as it was knocked back.
"Lucario!" Korrina called out as her Pokemon was hit.
"Mph!" Lucario stiffened up.
"Blaze Kick!" Blaziken said as he zoomed in once again with another Blaze Kick!
"Lucario, dodge it!" Korrina cried out, in hopes of avoiding it.
"Rarrgh! Eurrgh! Raagh! Urrgh!" Blaziken shouted as it kept using on Blaze Kick more and more.
"Nrurrguh! Nrrugh! Eurrgh!" Lucario blocked every single blaze kick attack one by one from Blaziken.
"Lucario!" Ash said as it was hit hard.
"Blaziken moves so fast! It sure is one tough opponent!" Clemont said as it saw it's speed was too quick for Lucario.
"Use Metal Sound!" Korrina called out. Hoping to stop it.
"Metaaaaalll Sounnnd!" Lucario said as it put it's hands together and made a screeching sound.
"AAARGH!" Blaziken cried out as it held it's ears as it was in agonizing pain.
"Power-Up Punch!" Lucario said as it zoomed up at close range.
"Yes! Awesome!" Ash said as he see Lucario take advantage.
"It's putting it in close range. But Blaziken is quick." Alex said, knowing the speed and type matchup would mean the difference.
"Watch out." Clemont said as a warning as Lucario kept getting closer, knocking Blaziken back a few times.
"Ragh!" Lucario shouted as it got another hit.
"Rurggh! Flammetthrrowerr!" Blaziken gushed out as it blocked the punch before firing off a point blank flametrower.
"Grriooo!" Lucario cried out as it was knocked back into a cave wall by a super effective flamethrower.
"Lucario!" Korrina called out as it was hurt.
"What a flamethrower." Ash said as he knew that had to hurt.
"I know. Blaziken's a Fire and Fighting-type. It's not a good matchup. And along with Blaziken's speed... So strong." Clemont said as he knew how strong that had to be.
"You're right." Serena said as Korrina was worried for Lucario.
"Lucario!" Korrina cried out as she tried to hurry to Lucario's aid.
"Raaaghhh!" Blaziken shouted as it fired off another Flamethrower to back Korrina off.
"Aah..." Korrina cried out as she avoided the hit but her picture she held onto burned up. Knocking her back, Blaziken grabbed Lucario with it's hand and picked it up like nothing.
"Hmph! You're weak." Blaziken said as he threw Lucario into a cave wall that he fell right into the water.
"Oh, no! I can't watch!" Bonnie cried as she was so scared to watch.
"We have to stop this." Serena said, Ash blocked the way with Alex with their arms.
"We can't!" Ash said, knowing they couldn't.
"Why not?" Serena said, asking why.
"Korrina said this was her battle. We shouldn't interfere." Ash said as he reminded them, Ash then called out to her.
"Isn't that true? You won't give up, right?" Ash said as he reminded Korrina about why they couldn't quit on battling.
"With what you said, giving up is useless now. Right?" Alex said, reminding her about quitting.
"They get it. They totally understand. That's right. We'll never give up. No matter who we're up against in battle, we'll never turn and run the other way! Right, Lucario?" Korrina said as she realized that they would never give up. So why would she run away and lose?
"Nggh.." Lucario muttered out as he was in pain.
"Please! Get up!" Bonnie pleaded, hoping Lucario can still battle.
"You can do it." Clemont said as he helped out with a cheer.
"Lucario!" Serena called out.
"Never give up!" Alex said as he cheered on.
"Yeah. Get up! Come on." Ash said as Lucario opened his eyes, angrily. This wasn't over.
"Hmph, they're right." Lucario muttered out as he slowly got onto his feet, all beat and bruised.
"You are still standing." Blaziken said as he was surprised to see Lucario stand up in the water to continue battling.
"Come on." Lucario said as he got ready, he jumped and got back on the cave walkway. Ready to go.
"Alright!" Ash said as he was proud of Lucario.
"Turn it around, Korrina!" Alex said as he called to Korrina.
"Lucario, Power-Up Punch, go!" Korrina said as she was ready for the Power-Up Punch combo against blaziken.
"RAAAGH! RAGH! RAH! RAH! RAH! RAH!" Lucario shouted as he charged in with multiple power up punches, showing off his strength and speed of his own.
"NGGH!" Blaziken cried out as he was being hit multiple times.
"HAVE SOME OF THIS! BONE RUSH!" Lucario shouted out as he fired off Bone Rush and whacked Blaziken around the body.
"Alright! Way to go!" Korrina said as she was proud of her partner going all out.
"Urk!" Blaziken stumbled onto the ground as Lucario threw many Bone rushes, many of them around Blaziken to ensure he doesn't move. Around the neck, the arms and the legs.
"Awesome! Blaziken can't move, so speed won't help it now." Ash said as he realized Korrina had got an advantage.
"We're almost done! Lucario, let's finish this up!" Korrina said as she knew they had a chance to finish it all.
"Raarrrgh!" Lucario shouted as it was ready to finish off Blaziken in it's place.
"Enough!" A voice called, stopping the battle.
"Who?" Lucario said as he stopped his attacked and looked up, Korrina to as they saw a figure in the shadows. Looking at them.
"You have won." The voice said as he was a person from the shadows in the cave.
"Hi, Korrina." Gurkinn said as he emerged from the shadows.
"Grandfather!?" Korrina said as she was shocked to see her grandfather.
"That's your Grandfather?!" The group cried out, seeing Korrina's grandfather in person!
"Yes. They call me the Mega Evolution Guru. I'm Gurkinn." Gurkinn said as he was impressed and introduced himself.
"Mega Evolution Guru?" Ash said, hearing the name.
"He knows the lucarionite as well as others?" Alex said as he wondered about the Lucarionite.
"And he's Korrina's grandfather as well?" Serena said as they didn't know about Korrina's grandfather arriving.
"So, what is he doing here anyway?" Clemont said as he was confused.
"You battled nobly, Blaziken. You may return." Gurkinn said as he thanked Blaziken before returning him to the Poke Ball.
"What's going on? Does all of this mean that Blaziken is your Pokémon, Grandfather?" Korrina said as she was confused, what was her Grandfather doing?
"That's right." Gurkinn said, nodding.
"But why all of this?" Korrina asked, why was all this for her?
"I knew that you would complete your training and make it here successfully. So, I thought i'd give you this final trial myself. And you overcame it beautifully as I knew you would. You passed this final test with flying colors!" Gurkinn said as he knew that Korrina was doing well with her training and it was doing well with all her training.
"Well done, Korrina dear. And, you as well, Lucario." Gurkinn said as he congratulated Korrina one more time.
"Grandfather..." Korrina said as her eyes beamed.
"Thank you." Lucario said as he nodded.
"Now, go forth and take what you've earned." Gurkinn said as he knew they did a good job.
"..." Korrina carefully skated not to excitingly as she climbed the steps and carried the rock carefully as she was excited. She got the Lucarionite after all the trials that had been done. She was so happy.
"We've finally got the Lucarionite!" Korrina said excitingly happily.
"To victory!" Lucario said.
A Few Moments later outside the cave and onto Geosenge Town.
"..." Outside the rocks awaited Mr. McGinty as he seemed paitent, waiting for something when...!
"Mr. McGinty!" Ash said as the group met up with Mr McGinty, with Korrina holding the Lucarionite.
"Hmm?" McGinty muttered as he noticed the group with Lucarionite was safe and sound.
"We came back!" Bonnie said as they were okay.
"And we're safe with the Lucarionite!" Alex said as he told McGinty.
"Well, it's nice to see you. Did you find what you were looking for?" McGinty said as he wanted to make sure there was no lie.
"Yup, we sure did!" Ash said as they were okay.
"Right here!" Alex said as he pointed at the stone with Lucarionite that Korrina held.
"Wonderful!" McGinty said as he was happy to hear about finding the stones.
"Sorry, Mr. McGinty. You took such a nice photo of us but i'm afraid mine got burnt up." Korrina apologized as she told McGinty her problem as she lost her photo.
"Oh, we didn't see that. I'll give you mine." Alex said as he didn't see it, he then offered his.
"I see. No worries. we'll just have to print you out another one." McGinty said as he would give Korrina another photo soon.
"Really? Thanks a lot!" Korrina said as she was happy that she would get another one.
"Say, it looks like it went well. Your granddaughter really is something special." McGinty said as he looked up to see Gurkinn was there also.
"She's my granddaughter. Of course, she is." Gurkinn said, as he then went alongside McGinty.
"Wait. Do you know Korrina's grandfather?" Serena asked, wondering that McGinty and Gurkinn were partners.
"Actually, he asked me to help you out in your quest to locate the Lucarionite." McGinty said as he told them the quest.
"That's right." Gurkinn said as he nodded.
"So you knew from the beginning?" Ash asked, wondering how he knew.
"How come we didn't know?" Alex said as he was confused.
"Ha-ha-ha! Sorry, kids." McGinty chuckled and apologized.
"Then, what's up with that story about something terrible happening in the cave?" Clemont said as he wondered what about earlier.
"I made it up." McGinty said as he told the truth.
"Made it up?" Ash groaned out as it was all fake.
"Ooaah." The group groaned as they fell for a made up tale
"If someone unworthy of the Mega Stone had gone inside the cave. Blaziken would have driven them off. So, it wasn't a total lie." Gurkinn said as he told them about how he played his part of who is worthy about the Mega Stone and those who aren't worthy would be out.
"Huh, like Team Rocket." Serena said as she wondered why Team Rocket was there in the first place.
"You had to mention it." Alex said as he sighed, knowing it was them.
"Now, Korrina." Gurkinn said as he got back to business on the trial.
"Yeah?" Korrina said, being curious.
"As proof that you overcame your trial, the Lucarionite is yours. I'm giving it to you." Gurkinn said as he gave Korrina the Lucarionite fully for her.
"Thanks." Korrina said as she thanked her grandfather.
"Good for you! Lucario, too!" Ash said as the others congratulated her for her accomplishment.
"Hooray, Korrina!" Pikachu said happily.
"Wonderful!" Serena said as she was happy.
"It sure is!" Bonnie said as she was happy.
"You did it!" Alex said to her.
"Congratulations!" Clemont said as Korrina was proud that her friends were there for her.
"You're all so nice. Thank you." Korrina said as she was so proud that the others were there for her.
"Thank you." Lucario said as he smiled, they were happy together. Everyone supported them.
In the middle of Geosenge Town's Square Rocks
"Okay, Korrina. Are you ready?" Gurkinn said as he wanted to make sure they wanted to be ready.
"Ready, Grandfather!" Korrina said as she was ready from her grandfather.
"..." Korrina gave the Lucarionite rock to Lucario as he held onto it without a problem. Then Korrina took a few steps back and they were ready to use the Lucarionite transformation!
"Here we go, Lucario!" Korrina said as she was excited, she was ready.
"Now, Lucario! Mega Evolve!" Korrina called out as she touched her Key Stone on her glove as Lucario held the Lucarionite in the rock as it made a reaction to the Key Stone as our group watched from the distance.
"We'll finally get to see another Mega Evolution!" Ash said as the group were witnessing another Mega Evolution before their eyes.
"I can't wait!" Clemont said excitingly as the connectors between the Key Stone and Lucarionite connected and so Lucario began to slowly transforming into a new Pokemon. That was Korrina's own Mega Lucario.
After overcoming many obstacles and winning a hard-fought battle against Blaziken. Korrina has finally obtained Lucarionite. Soon, Lucario's Mega Evolution will be revealed as the journey continues!
