CLANG!

Both Izuku and Eijirou start the match with an uppercut right on each other's chin. This causes the two fighters to stagger back before they regain their footing and go for the offensive. Eijirou goes for a punch, but Izuku counters it with a punch of his own. Eijirou did another one, but Izuku countered again. The cycle continues to the point their fists turn into blurs, both using Observation to outdo each other but they keep clashing fists with each other. Every impact creates shockwaves over and over again, even sending Snipe's hat flying from his head.

"….they did it…they did the ora ora clash…" Hanzo mutters in disbelief as he holds his forehead.

"Ora ora clash?" Denki, who sits in front of him, looks at Hanzo in confusion as their clashes continues.

"It's from a manga I read…" Hanzo dismisses Denki's curiosity. "There's one fight scene where they also did this clash."

"Huh…I never read that kind of manga…" Denki muses. He is a manga and anime die-hard fan, so hearing a manga that he never heard is strange for him.

"Eijirou is in offense, and Izuku keeps countering him." Yaomomo muses. "What is his plan?"

"Perhaps he tries to conserve energy by matching his opponent's movement?" Iida muses.

"No," They both look at Ochako. "They simply having fun. Both fight against each other with no restraint, fighting heads-on and trying to one-up each other."

"But that's kinda dumb," Jirou points out. "Why don't Midoriya simply end the match? I mean, he can do that."

"He rather not risk harming his body again with the other aspect of his quirk," Ochako says. "Besides, this fight is showing a rivalry between two men, respecting each others' strength and duke it out in an arena full of people."

Izuku manages to deflect Eijirou's punches before delivering a double punch right on Eijirou's chest, sending him back a few feet. Eijirou regains his footing before Izuku rushes towards him. Eijirou rushes towards him once more as they both pull their fist before clashing with each other, creating a larger shockwave that cracks the ground underneath them, generating a powerful gust of wind that blows everyone's hair.

"Oh, my god! Did any of you guys see that!? The clashes between two powerhouses are no joke!" Present Mic exclaims.

"So, you finally start talking again, huh?" Aizawa asks dryly.

"Give me a break, I am resting as much as possible! I have no idea why I fainted earlier on, so I need to be more cautious!" Izuku can't help but grimace at Present Mic's words. He feels slightly guilty that his Conqueror's Haki had knocked the majority of people out even though he didn't mean it.

"Hey, Izu-bro! Don't you think you're underestimating me a bit!?" Eijirou exclaims as Izuku looks at him before taking a deep breath and switching his hand gesture to a hand blade. Eijirou prepares himself before Izuku charges and makes a downward slice. To Eijirou's shock, his hand is scratched from the attack and it starts bleeding.

Eijirou instantly realizes how dangerous Izuku's attack is and starts dodging the attack instead of tanking it, but it's easier said than done as Izuku uses both of his hands in an attempt to slice Eijirou. From the distance, Izuku's attacks leave a green trail showing which direction his hands move every time he attacks. To everyone, it seems like Izuku somehow summons a pair of blades and starts attacking Eijirou.

"How are his hands able to slice Eiji-bro's defense like that!?" Tetsutetsu exclaims in disbelief as Takechi shivers a bit. His quirk enhances durability like Tetsutetsu and Eijirou but not to their extent, so if Izuku attempts to slice him, it'll leave a fatal injury instead.

"Is that the reason why I see him in yoga class several times?" Mina mutters.

"… He trains too much," Ochako sighs.

"Indeed," Iida let out a sigh.

"I'm more surprised that he even attends yoga," Toru mutters in disbelief.

"Given how yoga helps to deal with stress and even improve one's flexibility, I say it works," Yaomomo mutters. "This does explain how his movement didn't seem as stiff as the early days. He must've noticed this and tried to improve it."

"But, don't you think he did too much in just a month?" Koda mutters in concern.

"Well, he seems fine most of the time. No signs of overworking." Ojiro points out. "He must've sought someone to help balance his routine so he won't harm himself, like a professional trainer."

"…he did mention he trained himself for 10 months before the entrance exam under someone's tutelage, Kero," Tsuyu says as everyone lets out a sigh of relief, glad that he didn't overwork himself. When they heard how Izuku got his quirk not long ago and how good he is at using his quirk, they all concerned that he might overwork himself with his training, and it didn't help that his original squad saw him getting injured badly during their first day of hanging out together. So, it does ease their mind that Izuku didn't go overboard.

Then again, if he does go overboard, he wouldn't have time to even spend some days with them.

Meanwhile, Bakugou is watching in his seat while seething at Izuku fighting in the semi-finals. To him, Izuku shouldn't even be at the finals, blaming him for stealing the spot he deserved. All he could think of was how Izuku ruined everything for him, especially for getting him kicked out of the hero course.

"Deku…" Bakugou growls in anger as the General Department Course students are all moving away from Bakugou, not wanting to deal with the psychopathic pyromaniac.

Izuku manages to scratch Eijirou's tough hide multiple times and Eijirou is unable to retaliate. Izuku's attack is too quick for him and he's barely able to defend himself. He needs to find a way to stop Izuku's assault before deciding to use his trump card. As Izuku thrust his hand forward, he was met with a loud clang. Izuku's eyes widen in shock when Eijirou's body looks much different, looking rugged and monstrous. His skins look like a rock or scale with sharp ends, his fingers turn sharp like a pair of claws, and lines around his body like some sort of cracks.

Eijirou had unlocked Unbreakable, and this early in canon!? Izuku then winces in pain before he notices that one of his fingers is broken.

"Holy cow! Kirishima had pulled out his trump card! He managed to shrug off Midoriya's attack when earlier, he was desperately trying to dodge it!" Present Mic exclaims as the crowd cheers.

"It's to be expected for the contestant to have some sort of trump card, and apparently, Kirishima can bring his quirk to the next level, able to take hits he can't handle previously." Aizawa points out.

"Thank you for that, Captain Obvious-! Ouch!" Present Mic was cut off by Aizawa who elbows him, earning laughs from everyone.

Izuku didn't get the chance to react as he dodged an incoming claw strike from Eijirou before countering with punches, slices, and a kick, but much to Izuku's surprise, it didn't do a thing and he only hurt himself. He upped his percentage to 20% and punched Eijirou, but it only staggers him and bruises his knuckle before Eijirou tries to retaliate again. Izuku managed to move away from the attack before taking a breath.

"I made sure to train my quirk to the fullest to fight against you!" Eijirou exclaims before slamming his hands onto each other. "Now, let's continue our fight!" Eijirou charges at Izuku, who takes a deep breath before cocking his hands, red energy gathers around his fist. Eijirou roars before attempting to punch Izuku, but he ducks before slamming his palm right at Eijirou's chest. With his 20% FC, Armament, and Fa Jin, the impact easily sent Eijirou flying.

Before Eijirou flies out of bounds, he manages to regain his footing before clutching his chest in pain. This surprises Izuku as he didn't expect Eijirou to regain his footing but he welcomes the challenge.

"Well, I suppose the fight wouldn't be that easy," Yoichi muses. "So, what do you plan to do now? You need Fa Jin to even able to hurt the boy and it won't be enough, and I doubt you'll be able to move so much that you could use Fa Jin consecutively."

"Not to mention, the amount of stamina required to move so much," Bruce points out.

'Then, clearly, you guys haven't paid much attention to my training,' Izuku thought with a grin. 'You guys remember how Fa Jin can be applied to the other part of my body besides the part I use to stockpile extra kinetic energy, right?'

"Yeah, we see it on the manga panel and anime where your counterpart even applies on his Blackwhip," Nana says.

'Then, let me ask you one thing, which part of my body always constantly moves even unconsciously?' Izuku thought as they all went silent.

"…no, way…" Yoichi immediately gets what he's implying as Izuku grins, clutching his chest. His heart beats violently from excitement and adrenaline, red energy starts to appear out of Izuku's chest, specifically at his heart, looking like fire coating his chest in the shape of an 'X'.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! What in the world is this!? Midoriya pulls another super move!?" Present Mic exclaims in shock.

"Hahaha, I'm all fired up!" Izuku exclaims before transferring the gathered kinetic energy into his fist and rushing towards Eijirou, who instinctively dodges the incoming punch. The attack missed the target, but it was enough to generate a powerful blast of wind which knocked Eijirou back several feet.

"What the hell, bro!?" Eijirou exclaims in disbelief. "You pull that shit out of your ass or something!?"

"Nope! It's all the result of my training!" Izuku replies before going for another punch. Eijirou barely rolls away as the fist makes contact with the ground and creates a crater and tremor. Eijirou was struggling to regain his bearing as Izuku rushed towards him and did another palm strike. This time, not only did it hurt Eijirou even when he was in his Unbreakable mode, it sent Eijirou crashing into the wall, creating a large human crater.

"And that's it! Eijirou Kirishima is out of bounds, the winner of this round is Izuku Midoriya!" Izuku let out an exhausted sigh before grimacing at the bruises he got for hitting Eijirou. Taking a deep breath, he walks through his pain before approaching Eijirou and helping him get out of the crater.

"Damn it, Izu-bro! Do you have to pull out another super move when I pull my own!?" Eijirou groans as Izuku laughs.

"If you can pull out a super move, then so do I." Izuku retorts as Eijirou grumbles before leaning on Izuku, and his entire body slumps down.

"Carry me," Eijirou mutters as Izuku rolls his eyes before grabbing him by the collar and dragging him out of the arena. "N-not like this!"

"You didn't specify how should I carry you," Izuku says with a grin. "Or perhaps you prefer me carrying you with a bridal carry?" Eijirou's face turns red before shaking his head no, making Izuku laugh.

Upon reaching the infirmary, Izuku barely escaped from the fate of being beaten down by Recovery Girl because his injuries were not severe and he didn't inflict fatal injuries on Eijirou. After healing their injuries, they all walk back to the contestant section and are greeted by everyone.

"That was a great fight! Mind telling us how did you pull that off?" Denki asks curiously.

"I am also curious about what you did earlier, Midoriya, Kirishima," Iida says as he adjusts his glasses.

"Iida, we're friends, you can just call me by my first name," Eijirou exclaims. "As for what I did? I simply hardened my hardened skin!"

"…I was sure that's not how your quirk is supposed to work," Yaomomo sweatdrops.

"Apparently I can do that! I discovered it during my training to increase my endurance and I did it subconsciously." Eijirou explains. "So far, I can only harden my skin twice."

"So, basically stacking buff," Denki muses as Eijirou nods.

"… If he can continuously stack his hardening, it'll be op…" Hanzo mutters in disbelief.

"Speaking of op, what the hell did you do, Midori!?" Toru asks in sheer disbelief. "What is that aura bullshit you did earlier!?"

"Um…how to explain this…" Izuku says while rubbing the back of his head. "You know how I discover the other aspect of my quirk?"

"You mean stacking kinetic energy to temporarily boost your strength?" Yaomomo asks as Izuku nods. "…wait that energy from your chest, it's the stockpiled energy?!" Izuku nods again. "…you use your beating heart to stockpile your kinetic energy, then transfer it into the other part of your body to boost it. Since our heart continues to beat as long as we're alive, it'll continue to stockpile energy!"

"Bingo!" Izuku says with a grin.

"But, won't that be dangerous!? Your heart would never be able to stockpile so much energy!" Iida exclaims in concern.

"That is why I keep transferring the energy into parts of my body," Izuku says. "I made sure the stockpiled energy keeps transferred to either of my limbs, continuously releasing the energy gathered by my heart."

"That's a very effective strategy," Yaomomo admits.

"So, not only can you punch hard, but you can punch harder," Jirou dryly points out.

"Why don't you simply use Gearshift…is it Gearshift?" Ojiro asks the last part in confusion as Izuku nods.

"I'd rather not run out of oxygen again," Izuku says as they all wince. "Anyway, is it me or the match hasn't started yet?"

"You do know they need to fix the arena you destroyed earlier, right?" Ochako points out as Izuku blushes a bit.

"Oops…" Izuku says sheepishly as everyone chuckles. The moment the arena is fixed by Cementoss, Takechi can be seen walking out towards the arena along with Shoto. Then, to Izuku's surprise, Monoma pops out from the other side of the wall and starts taunting how Takechi is gonna beat him before Kendo knocks him out with the classic karate chop.

The more Izuku observes this world's Monoma, the more he thinks that maniac is weird. Based on what Takechi said not long ago, he had a big fight with Monoma since he didn't share his view towards Class 1-A. And now, Monoma acting all friendly toward his former friend. It just confusing as fuck, and not to mention, his Observation senses his hatred towards him is almost on par with Bakugou's, and it's concerning,

As Takechi and Shoto face each other, Snipe immediately starts the match and Shoto doesn't hesitate to freeze Takechi in a glacier. But, to his surprise and annoyance, Takechi broke free from the ice before charging at Shoto, who summons an ice wall between them to block his attacks.

Shoto touches the ice wall and spikes come out from the other side of the wall, forcing Takechi to take several steps back. Shoto applies more power on the ice, causing the spikes to extend towards Takechi, who uses his hands to block the assaults as every piece of ice shatters upon making contact with his skin.

"You have to do better than that!" Takechi says before grabbing one of the ice spikes and breaking it. He uses it as a club before destroying every incoming spike. Shoto clicks his tongue before moving away by creating ice platforms and starts launching ice pillars from the trails. Takechi did everything to dodge the attack, but some crashed on him.

Thanks to his quirk, his skin shatters the ice, but the impact from the attack causes him to stagger a bit. Shoto takes this chance to freeze him again, but it doesn't work as Takechi breaks free and grabs Shoto by his collar before slamming his back into the ground, knocking the wind out of Shoto. Takechi is about to land a punch, but Shoto rolls away as the punch creates a fist-shaped dent in the ground.

Shoto slams his leg into the ground, generating ice spikes toward Takechi, who dodges away from the attack again before shattering some of the spikes and tossing them toward Shoto. He simply responds to the attack with an ice wall before pulling the same trick again from earlier, creating spikes from the other side of the wall.

But, to Shoto's confusion, Takechi has yet to retaliate while Snipe doesn't announce that Takechi is no longer able to fight. He wonders what is going on before he turns around and see Takechi cocking his fist. Shoto was unable to react as Takechi slammed his fist into Shoto's gut and knocked him through the ice wall, shattering the barrier. Shoto generates as much ice as possible to stop him from flying out of bounds, but it takes a toll on his body as frostbites start to appear all around his body.

Takechi takes a breather before noticing that his hand is partially frozen, but he pays no mind before charging forward. Shoto uses his quirk to generate more and more barriers, but Takechi constantly breaks the ice with nothing but his fist. Too bad for Takechi that he wasted too much of his stamina, which made Shoto able to freeze him easily.

"Ah, damn it…" Takechi groans as he shivers in place. He had no more energy to break free.

"Kenshi Takechi is immobilized, Shoto Todoroki is the winner of this round!" Snipe announces as Shoto collapses to the ground, panting heavily as cold breath comes out of his mouth. He activates his left side slightly to get rid of the frost before freeing Takechi. Once he breaks free, Takechi walks away without saying a single word, feeling slightly insulted by Shoto's lack of trying. Endeavor meanwhile watches from the spectator area and frowns as even until now, his 'masterpiece' still chooses to refuse to use his fire.

But, Endeavor thinks this wouldn't matter as the next fight will be against the student who keeps stealing the number one position from Shoto, and the boy will not have any other choice but to use it. But, just in case, he needs to seek the boy and requests him to do so.

With Takechi

"Damn it, I can't believe this. I thought I could force him to use his fire…" Takechi mutters as Izuku pats his back in comfort.

"It's not an easy task to do, Takechi," Izuku says. "Besides, he had his reason."

"…I was pretty sure you said you'd get him to use his fire," Takechi deadpanned.

"I have my reasons," Izuku says as Takechi continues to give him a deadpan stare. "Sorry, bud. But, I can't tell you why since it's related to his reason."

"I thought I could do it for you," Takechi sighs. "You seem to have a lot on your plate, arch nemesis who is obsessed with spirit resides in your quirk, bullies, 'mature' adult hating your gut, and even mastering your unstable quirk."

"Thanks for the concern," Izuku says before patting his back.

"We're friends, right? Worried about each other is what friends always did?" Takechi says as Izuku nods.

"Yeah, and now, how about you worried about your group of friends before they tear each other out." They both chuckle.

"Good luck on the match, and break a leg," Takechi says as Izuku nods before both walking towards their separate ways. As Izuku was on his way to the arena, he was greeted with Endeavor.

"Ah, Izuku Midoriya, just the student I'm looking for," Endeavor says casually as Izuku furrows his brow, holding himself from retorting.

"Endeavor….to what do I owe the pleasure?" Izuku asks curtly, keeping his emotions in check. The man in front of him was the guy who had ruined his own family just for the sake of something as useless as a hero ranking, so Izuku didn't know if he could hold himself back from lashing out at him.

"You made a huge showing for me, a powerful quirk with so much versatility and the way you use them…" Endeavor muses. "Your quirk could rival All Might's power with the sheer versatility alone."

"…Is there a reason behind everything you said, sir?" Izuku asks, barely holding himself from being pissed.

"It is Shoto's duty to surpass All Might," Izuku's pupil dilated at Endeavor's choice of words. "His match against you will be an excellent-!" Endeavor's words died in his throat as Izuku glared at the man and Conqueror's Haki leaked out of Izuku, causing the man to flinch slightly.

'So, this boy is the culprit behind the mass knockout!? What exactly is his quirk!?' Endeavor thought as Izuku calmed himself down.

"…it is not enough that you get your firstborn killed with your stupid ambition, now you want to get your youngest to meet the same fate?" Izuku says coldly, making Endeavor freeze, widening his eyes in shock. Of all the things Izuku could've said to him, this is not what he expected. "I'll make sure he uses his fire, but I did it for Shoto, not for you nor your ego."

With that, Izuku walks past Endeavor, who is too stunned to reply. After several feet away from Endeavor, Izuku let out a sigh of relief, anxiety crashed onto him like a speeding truck claiming its next isekai victim.

"Holy shit, kid. You're brutal." Banjo exclaims in shock.

"I know that dickhead deserves that brutal retort, but is it a good idea to do that?" En asks in concern. "After all, Touya's 'death' isn't exactly public knowledge."

'Please don't ask, I don't know what made me do all that,' Izuku groans internally.

"…are you really going to help Todoroki with his issues?" Nana asks curiously. "You know it's not really your business, right?"

'If nothing's done, he could've died…' Izuku replies. 'No one's bothered to help him, and…in the original timeline, Izuku was supposed to help him…I know I don't have to, but…my consciousness will haunt me for the rest of my life if I don't help him…'

"…god, you're too soft, kid." Bruce groans before he is smacked by Nana on the back of his head. "Ouch! What was that for!?"

"You made it sound like it's a bad thing!" Nana exclaims before they both start to argue again. Izuku merely shakes his head in amusement before continuing to walk towards the arena, facing Shoto as his opponent. Both look at each other in silence while ignoring the cheering crowd and Present Mic's announcement.

"So…is there a chance for you to even consider using your fire?" Izuku asks as Shoto remains silent. "…silent treatment, eh? Rude much."

As Snipe starts the match, Shoto instantly starts the match by covering the arena with a glacier to trap Izuku inside. The spectators were stunned at the display of strength, unable to believe the strength displayed by Shoto. Certain people feel slightly happy to see Izuku getting trapped under the massive ice.

"Sorry, but I choose to end things quickly," Shoto says coldly before suddenly, everyone hears a crack from under the glacier. Everyone was silent before suddenly, the glacier sliced up and the upper part starts to slide down towards the bi-colored-haired boy. This surprises Shoto, but he quickly regains his composure and creates an ice barrier between himself and the glacier.

At the center of the glacier, Izuku can be seen standing with his hand outstretched like he had sliced something. Izuku takes a deep breath before climbing up from the sliced glacier and looks down on Shoto, who breaks free from the falling glacier.

"Sorry, pal. But, I don't plan to end this match that soon." Izuku says with a determined glare. "I'll make sure you'll use that damn fire of yours, either with my words or with my fists."
