Warning, this chapter has mental health and middle century moments. You have been warned.
"Finally!" Kit panth and leaned her knees, when they arrived on top
of the Pendle hill.
"Well, that was hiking." Sly agreed and they saw how the views were stunning.
"Imagine," Kate said, who tried to keep herself together.
"That, people have to walk from here while being pointed and getting something into their faces."
They saw how this hit Kate and not a surprise. Her ancestors have lived here and been afraid over the centuries, that they could find themself on this hill with the other.
Sly put his hand on Kate's shoulder, where she reacted.
"Kate, without you we may not be here. Do you remember that Wedding crasher mission back in China?" Sly asked, where Kate nodded.
"Exactly, without your skills that vase would break and the alarm would turn on."
"Yeah, but did you forget that it came on top of my stomach?" Kate mumbled, remembering how air had gone out of her.
Lucky for her Sly didn't waste a time helping her under that vase, and after putting that on the place, they heard that Panda King and Guru got their job done.
"But, we saved, the Panda King's, daughter." Murray phanted, who had just arrived on the hill.
Kate looked at three of them and started to roll her feet on to the ground, like trampling something and chuckles embarrassed.
"I don't know what came into me. Maybe it's jet lag or something."
"Do you think that you can finish this?" Kit asked, who had got her breathing on stable.
Suddenly Kate's face had a brave and independent smile.
"Of course I can do this," Kate told her, before looking at Murray.
"Murray, since you know dream time, do you think you could find something in here?"
"Leave it to 'The Murray'!" Murray cheered and walked in the middle of the hill.
"What is this 'dream time'?" Kit asked, looking Kate and Sly eyebrow raised.
"It's meditation and nature together." Sly answered shortly, after seeing how Kate looked at him. Which meant that now it's not the time to scare her.
Murray's meditating felt like forever. Sly stretched his legs after hiking and Kit tapped her wrist, meaning how long they have to wait, where Kate only could shrug shoulders.
Finally Murray sighed, looking at the ground and stood up, ending his meditation.
"Sorry guys. I did my best, but I didn't feel anything." he apologized, walking closer to others.
"Don't worry big guy, there has to be another way." Sly tried to cheer him on.
"And let me guess Kit, your hand doesn't react to this hill." Kate said, where she got a hollow huff.
"Correct. Funny, for the first time I wish something could happen." Kit answered and looked at her hand, which was neutral.
The same small wind came and Kate was sure that she heard something. She looked at the memory rock and walked closer to that.
"Uuh Kate, what are you doing?" Murray asked, but didn't get an answer.
They saw how Kate had started to walk clockwise, hand coming behind her.
"Those steps. Bethanie walked closer to me like that." Kit said, seeing how elegantly Kate walked.
They didn't know if they should stop Kate or let her continue that, but then she gasped and looked like waking from the nightmare.
After Kate had got her voice back, she started to explain what she had seen.
"It just, felt so real." she told them, still shaking after the situation.
"That vision?" Sly asked, seeing how Kate was pale.
"I… I don't think that was a vision," Kate shook her head and looked at them with an assorted look on her face.
"I think I was in the past."
