What's the worst that could happen?

Everything would be okay even if it wasn't. I chose denial and delusion. I went from a worm to a caterpillar.

September passed. We are now beginning October. I am actually a year younger than Theo, so we separated after breakfast every morning. Lorenzo and Mattheo, as well as Astoria, were in my grade. I didn't talk to Astoria, she didn't talk to me. I got into the Slug Club, and I started a book club. While I wasn't in the same grade, I was a grade ahead in Muggle Studies. The Muggle Studies class would assign muggle books to read. Theo's dad, as well as many other Slytherin parents, had refused to buy the books. So, every night in the library, I would read the book aloud, and they would take notes. I would explain muggle technology and things. Afterward, Theo follows me to my dorm to cheat off my homework.

"Does Winnie the Pooh have any examples of personification?" Theo sat between my legs on the floor as I brushed his hair.

"Yes. Every time any of the characters, except for Christopher Robin, does something that's not like the animal they are, it's personification." Theo wrote some things down.

"Well, I guess that's everything." He turned around, kneeling between my legs. He looked at his hands that were now massaging my thighs. He took the hair brush in my hand and laid it on the floor as he spoke. "Have I ever told you that your thighs are like two glorious pillows filled with sugar?" He kissed up my thigh to the edge of my skirt.

"Theo," I said breathlessly, trying to push him away. But he continued. He stood up, while climbing on top of me, laying me onto the bed I was sitting on.

He grabbed my thighs, kneading his palms into them up to my stomach like I was a giant piece of bread dough. "I could touch you all day." He lowered himself onto me and closed his eyes. I gently played with his hair and started singing softly. "Oh yeah, I'll tell you something. I think you'll understand. When I say that somethin'. I want to hold your hand. I want to hold your hand. I want to hold your hand." His breathing was deep, and his body laid heavy on mine. I gently placed kisses on the top of his head. I felt his heart beating. The peace and tranquility of the black lake hitting the windows and the small sounds of his breathing put me quickly to sleep.

When I woke up, he was no longer on top of me. My arms were trapped between my chest and his, and both of his arms were hugging me tightly. I moved slightly, and his legs were on mine in an instant. I wasn't able to move away. "I just need a few moments to breathe in the sweet scent of your hair." He said.

"You've got to go to your room so you can get your stuff for class and change and whatnot." I yawned.

"It's Saturday, Ruby." One of his hands started roaming around my body.

"Yeah, but I want breakfast." I pulled myself so our faces were right next to each other.

Theo looked at me with a hooded eye and piercing stare. Before I pulled myself up, his hand had stopped and was resting on the top of my skirt, I was still wearing it from the day before. Now his hand was hovering over my backside. He gently laid his hand down, moving it up and under my skirt. My breath hitched as he rested his hand cupping my butt. He pressed his lips hard onto mine. "You were saying something about breakfast." He laid small kisses all over my neck.

"We need to stop and go get breakfast. It's gonna be a busy day. Isn't it quidditch today?" I said, running my fingers through his hair.

"How about I just kiss you all day?"

"No."

I am glad I said no. My parents, both of them, decided today would be the day they made an appearance. Theo and I were walking hand in hand when Professor Black notified me they were here. "There is a group of students meeting in the courtyard in fifteen minutes to connect with their parents."

I looked at Theo when Professor Black left. I was hyperventilating. "What should we do? I can't fake not knowing you. And they're gonna wanna meet my friends."

"It's okay, it won't hurt my feelings." He patted my head. He sighed.

"But my dad, I can't lie to him. If you just come with me, what can he do? Hogwarts protects us, right?"

"So you want me to meet your parents?"

"What's the worst that could happen?"
