"All Might!" Midoriya yelled at his mentor, face filled with relief. Asui and Mineta sighed beside him; his feelings reflected on their faces. All Might didn't look at him, but her fingers twitched, letting him know she heard him. She kept her gaze on Shigaraki, her frown becoming more prominent.
Shigaraki didn't look like the frown bothered her. If anything, it made her smirk even wider. She let out a tiny chuckle and spoke up, "If it isn't All Might, the Symbol of Peace. How lucky am I to be graced with your presence."
All Might snarled, "How dare you have the nerve to face me head on. After going after these kids. You are disgusting." Shigaraki laughed, "What can I say? I'm a villain!" She turned to the monster beside her, "Nomu, attack!"
The creature let out a roar and ran to the Number One Heroine. All Might grunted, bracing herself. The Nomu pushed its body weight against the blonde, trying to punch her senseless. All Might had grabbed its wrists and held tight, refusing to let go. Midoriya wished to help her, but he knew he was only going to get in the way.
He heard a short yell and turned, heart jumping in his throat. Kurogiri managed to slip away from Kacchan and covered her and Kirishima with a purple mist. He let out a tiny breath of relief that the villain just blew smoke, nothing more.
He gasped as another Nomu mysteriously materialized in front of him. He, Asui, and Mineta jumped away, but not before attempting a swing at Midoriya.
"Midoriya-chan!" Midoriya felt something warm and slimy wrap around his upper arm. He grunted as he felt the yank of Asui's tongue pulling him out of harm's way. Unfortunately, that caused Asui to fly forward.
The Nomu moved away, revealing Shigaraki to be right behind him. The woman smirked evilly and held out her hand, fingers outstretched. Asui's face became blank, as if she couldn't decide what to feel. Her widened, onyx eyes were filled with fear and trepidation.
Midoriya activated Ultrahand and grasped her belt. Asui gasped as Midoriya pulled her out of harms' way. Immediately after, Aizawa jumped in, her eyes glowing a brilliant ruby. Shigaraki grunted as she felt Erasure overpower her quirk. She jumped back, red eyes widening as she saw Aizawa's scarf flying right for her.
"Nomu, block!" The Nomu punched the cloth, roaring in irritation when it just wrapped itself around its' wrist. The creature tried to loosen the cloth, but it only got tighter. Aizawa grunted and pulled on her cloth. Unfortunately, a nearby Nomu raced forward and sliced the cloth with something that looked like…swords (?) on his arms. The previously captured Nomu fisted his hand, landing a blow on Aizawa.
The heroine gasped in pain, blood flying from her face. The Nomu never gave her a chance to recover-it flew for her, tackling her to the ground. It sat on her and began punching without stopping.
Midoriya yelled in rage and ran forward. Or, tried to. Both Asui and Mineta were clutching onto him. Asui looked at him, "Midoriya-chan, you can't go out there! Aizawa-Sensei is a professional heroine. She can handle this!"
Mineta just trembled, holding onto Midoriya. Midoriya knew that Aizawa was a trained hero, but…she was dying.
Dying.
Midoriya felt his heart grow warm…until it was boiling hot. Almost, like a dragon's-
A dragon…
"ZELDA!" Midoriya yelled to the sky, eyes closed, tears falling down his face. A loud roar rang throughout the USJ. Light surrounded Midoriya's kneeling form, illuminating him and the two girls that were clutching onto him.
Zelda's true dragon form flew out of Midoriya's chest. She was HUGE-the size of the giant Chinese dragons in folklore. Her white scales gleamed in the artificial sunlight that was alit in the USJ. Her golden mane whipped around her, her crystal horns gleamed, and the aqua shards along her back and tail were glowing.
All of the villains stopped what they were doing, looking at the dragon in a mix of awe and terror. Zelda's blue-purple eyes were filled with grace and protectiveness with a hint of anger. She swooped down, covering herself with a golden light. Zelda swooped, just flying through the Nomu. The moment her light touched them, something strange happened.
The Nomu looked…thankful. For a split second, they didn't look like mindless monsters. They looked like…humans. A look of peace fell on their faces before the creatures vanished. Whenever Zelda got near Aizawa, she made sure to scrape her aqua shard against a nearby slab of concrete. The shard fell near the weak heroine, who quickly smashed it with her foot. The woman breathed a sigh of relief before succumbing to the exhaustion.
Shigaraki looked up at the dragon with mixed emotions. There was awe and terror like the people working under her, but there was something else. Her eyes were wide with wonder, like how she was when she was a child. A sparkle that had been absent since her appearance in the USJ appeared in her eyes, making her look like a different person.
All Might felt her blue eyes widen.
Master?
Shigaraki shook herself and looked at All Might again, red eyes burning with hatred. "Well, it seems like we're at an impasse. But, this will not be the last time we meet. I can promise you that." All Might snarled, blood falling out of her mouth.
"Nomu, come!" The Nomu that had been attacking All Might stopped and ran back to Shigaraki. All Might groaned, smoke coming out of her form. Part of her was already shrinking.
No…please…not now…
"All Might?!" All Might looked up to see Midoriya looking at her in confusion and terror. All Might felt her own eyes widen.
He saw.
He saw the truth about her.
His emerald eyes narrowed, looking at her in determination. He looked up at the sky, nodding. Zelda, sensing what he wanted her to do, landed next to them. He looked at All Might, "She can turn herself and her rider invisible. I'll help you get on so you can make a quick exit. Don't worry-I won't tell anyone about this."
All Might gazed at him silently, before her blue eyes filled with maternal affection. "Thank you, my boy. We'll discuss it later." All Might climbed on Zelda, giving Midoriya a small salute. The dragon and heroine vanished before leaving, covered by the cloud of smoke.
….
Aizawa groaned, feeling herself being shaken.
"Sensei, Sensei!" The woman opened her eyes to the male-no, Midoriya.
"What Midoriya?" Midoriya blinked.
"Are you alright? Did Zelda's scales help?" The heroine nodded, slowly standing up. "Most of the damages have been fixed, I guess all I got out of it were some scrapes and bruises." She looked around, "Where is your dragon anyway?"
"I dismissed her-figured she needed the rest. But before she left, I got some more shards; I figured I could share some with the class."
Aizawa nodded, "That sounds like a good idea. Go ahead." Midoriya looked at her in shock.
She rolled her eyes, "Yes, I can be nice. Go." Midoriya nodded, and ran around the USJ, asking his classmates to huddle together into groups.
Exclamations of "Whoa!" "This feels like a sauna!" "Feels warm!" filled the area. Aizawa smiled softly in relief, glad that no one got hurt. She looked up at the ceiling, her dark eyes filled with confusion and trepidation.
The alarm should have gone off. The tech was state-of-the-art. Which meant one thing:
There was a traitor at UA.
