Midoriya was at the beach, practicing the Sages moves. The Wind Sage moved him forward, Midoriya hanging from his hang glider. He hummed as he moved a little farther before letting go, moving his body to a nosedive position, turning his hand into a fist, and launching the Fire Sage's attack at the clump of trash that had been forming again.

"It's like the people can't live without trashing some beach up." He looked at the Lightning Sage, who nodded and jumped. He used Ultrahand to grab a nearby stick and pulled down his ring finger. He threw the stick and a bolt of lightning immediately struck the area. He wiped the sweat from his brow and took a swig out of his bottled water.

The Lightning Sage ran up to him. Master, I must ask you something. Well, all of us do.

Midoriya looked up at her, eyebrows raising when the rest of the cyan, opaque sages surrounded him. "What is it, guys?" The Water Sage decided to talk.

I don't know if you know this, Master, but All Might is considering you to be her successor.

"Mother-?!" Water was filling his pipe in the wrong way and he began coughing violently. The Fire Sage began patting his back vigorously, causing him to fall to his knees, but it worked so he forgave him. After a few more coughs and a few deep breaths, he looked at the sages in shock.

"How-how do you know that?!" The Wind Sage fluttered in front of him.

I heard her say so, Master. Her and that old lady were talking after you left. The old lady also wants to ask you about Zelda's healing shards, so you might need to have an answer ready for her.

Midoriya groaned, "She's called 'Recovery Girl'. Not old lady, okay?" He sighed, sitting down on the sand. "But about All Might's power-what do I say? I mean, I don't-I mean, I can't refuse…but, I'm nothing special. Why-why would she want to pick me?"

"Because you have the heart of a true hero, Midoriya..." Izuku looked up, smiling brightly as Rauru showed himself.

"Rauru!" He got up and ran toward his teacher, giving him the same smile. Rauru smiled gently as he stood in front of the boy. "What do you think of Miss. Toshinori's intention?" Midoriya sighed, looking away.

"I don't know. I mean, I'm so honored that she would want me, but there are a few things that could go wrong with picking me."

Rauru cocked his head, "How so?"

Midoriya raised an eyebrow, "I'm a male for one. She'll be the laughingstock of all heroines if she does that!"

Rauru gave him a patient look, "She's the Number One Heroine-I doubt she'll be a laughingstock if she does one thing that most of the population disagrees with."

Midoriya continued, "I already have this power you gave me. How will it be affected by this new quirk if I accept?"

"My power is not a quirk, remember? I don't think the quirk that Miss. Toshinori will give will affect things too much-if anything, they might help each other."

"But what if-?"

Rauru placed a hand on his shoulder. "Young Midoriya, I want you to forget about all the 'what ifs' and answer me without thinking. Can you do that for me?"

The teen nodded.

"If Miss. Toshinori offered you the quirk, One-for-All, would you take it?"

"Yes." Midoriya blinked, astonished by his own answer. Rauru smiled and gave his shoulder a pat.

"Then let's continue training. If you are going to accept this quirk, we need to get you even stronger."

…..

A few weeks later, during lunch, Recovery Girl went up to Midoriya's table. She raised an eyebrow in interest.

It looked like someone's got a little popular…

Recovery Girl chuckled to herself. Midoriya was surrounded by not only his regular friend group of Iida, Uraraka, and Asui, but a couple of girls from Class 1-B. All of them were talking about different battle tactics, but Monoma was…blushing a bit at Midoriya.

Ah…to be young again…

"Ahem." The group looked up. The woman spoke up, "Midoriya, sweetie. Can you come with me to my office-me and Toshi want to talk to you." Midoriya gulped.

"Yes ma'am." He turned to his table and waved.

…..

Toshinori Yuki looked at Midoriya with a serious look in her eyes, her blue gaze blazing. Midoriya gulped but kept his gaze steady.

"Young Midoriya. Remember a few weeks ago when I talked to you about my quirk? I talked to you about finding a successor."

Midoriya nodded, "Yes, I do."

Toshinori continued, "I'm not going to lie-I want you to be my successor. But be warned-the path of One-for-All is dangerous but so rewarding. I know you will use it to save so many people. Will you accept?"

Midoriya thought for a few minutes then smiled. "I will be honored, All Might. I promise I'll make you proud."

Recovery Girl and Toshinori gave him a tender smile. "Then…" She plucked out a strand of her hair and held it out to him, "…eat this."

Midoriya looked at her with a grossed-out expression, "EXCUSE ME?!"

Yoichi Shigaraki smiled softly as a new vestige formed in One for-All. His smile widened a little further as he noticed Nana grin proudly at the cloudy silhouette of Toshinori Yuki forming beside her. Nana laughed in joy, looking at the previous users. "My successor found a successor!" She spoke like a proud parent.

"Yes…" Yoichi smiled. "Izuku Midoriya…" His musings were interrupted by a loud roar. Yoichi's green eyes narrowed in caution as he looked straight ahead, standing up from his throne like seat. The second and third users stood up beside him, quirks at the ready.

The dragon-Zelda as Midoriya called her-shown herself before them. She let out a melodious rumble before turning to the right and flying away…but behind her, a light began glowing. It became brighter and brighter…the users had to shield their eyes.

When it finally faded, Yoichi put his hand down only to gasp in astonishment. Instead of being in a crumbled room that they have been in for the last two centuries, there was a vast space of land. Golden fields decorated the earth, trees that had golden leaves, and animals. There were a few floating islands in front of them with waterfalls cascading down below.

Golden flowers bloomed every few feet. There was some sort of stone temple that looked to be built in layers. Yoichi looked up to see an island that looked to be covered in snow. There were lakes and blue and white mushrooms surrounding them. The warm sun beamed on his face and he felt like crying.

The second user walked forward, "Yoichi, are we-?"

He shook his head, "No, we're still inside One-for-All. I don't know what's happening though-be on your guard."

The fifth user, Dai Banjo pointed in front of them, "What are those?" They looked to be robots that were made of jade stones. They had bronze stones in the middle of their faces as their 'eyes', and their 'limbs' were made of green energy. Some were cutting trees, preparing campfires, and there were even some shipping precious green minerals.

"Oh, hello." The users turned to see a corporal being look at them in a surprised manner. He had dark fur all over his body, giant ears that stuck out to the side, and long, white hair that fell down to his ankles, two forelocks framing his face. He was wearing spiky necklaces; a short black cloak with a clipping on it that looked like a mask; billowing, green pants; and sandals. His surprise turned into a warm smile. Beside him were four blue shadows and one being that looked a lot like those jade robots.

"You must be the users of this One-For-All Quirk Miss. Toshinori mentioned to Mr. Midoriya. I am King Rauru." Yoichi relaxed at the gentle expression, signaling the other users to calm down. They followed his lead, but the second user stayed close to him. He smiled softly at his brother then turned toward the king.

"Hello, I am Yoichi Shigaraki-the first user. And these are the users that came after me." Rauru smiled and bowed his head in respect.

"Forgive me, but I assumed that everyone that has a quirk were female. So, how do you and these two gentlemen have quirks?" The fifth user spoke up, "Around Sir Yoichi's time, both males and females had quirks. But the females gradually became more in abundance and more in power until it became the matriarchal society you see in today's world."

Rauru nodded, "I see." His expression changed a little when the fourth user spoke up, "As well as it should be." The rest of the users looked at her in a mix of exasperation and anger.

Nana spoke up, "Hiragana, please don't act out of line. It's disrespectful to Yoichi-san, Kudo-san, and Bruce-san."

Kudo, the second user, growled, "That's pretty big talk from someone who didn't even try to fight All-for- One." Hiragana widened her eyes for a second before she narrowed them in anger. Before she could talk, her successor, Bruce, interrupted.

"Hira-san, remember that you said you were going to try to do better." The woman sighed, bowing to the first three users. "I'm sorry."

Kudo let out a 'tch' and looked over at the king. "You seem to be familiar with this place. Where are we?" Rauru nodded.

"I do know this place, but this is new for me too. I usually rest in the heart of Mr. Midoriya. Now, it looks like I'm residing inside this…One-for-All quirk. It seems to mean one thing-and this is just a guess."

Yoichi gestured for him to continue.

"I think my Zonai gauntlet, and One-for-All have fused."
