A green-haired boy giggled behind her, grasping her hand tightly. His freckles adorned his cheeks cutely. His laughter sounded like bells. His smile that he was giving her was so pure and happy.
That same boy who had held onto her hand without fear now looked older. He was jogging behind her in a middle-school uniform. He had a journal held under one arm; he held out the hand that she had been previously holding-his green eyes no longer held any sparkle; just a plea for her friendship. The scene that made her laugh no longer gave her pleasure.
Now…
Now…
The male was in the Hero course. The first male to ever have a quirk…
He was strong-no longer the weakling that crawled after her. He was no longer sad-he was surrounded by friends.
He.
Was.
No.
Longer.
Looking.
At.
Her.
And for the first time, she wondered why she even cared.
…..
Bakugou moved away as she crossed the finish line. She growled and punched the wall, emitting an explosion.
"Deku. Not again…"
She looked up to see her former friend surrounded by the Frog Girl, Miss. Elite, and Round Cheeks. All of them were congratulating the greenette, causing him to blush. Zelda manifested and rubbed her cheek against his. She raised her eyebrows as Miss. Elite and Round Face began talking to the air. Frog Girl suddenly let out a little yelp and Deku was quietly explaining to her what was happening.
Bakugou couldn't hear him but it seemed to make the Frog Girl happy as she gave him a pat on the back. She looked down at her fist and took in a deep breath. Letting it out slowly, she straightened up and walked back to the middle of the arena.
…..
Midoriya watched as the Wind Sage created a tiny whirlwind in front of Uraraka and Iida. Uraraka kept cooing and giggling on how cute the child was (because his shape was that of a child). Iida asked questions about how the whirlwinds are created so perfectly in such a short amount of time (Midoriya translated the Wind Sage's words).
"Hey, you! Boy with a quirk!" Midoriya looked up and spotted a pink-haired girl wearing goggles and had…targets for…eyes (?) running up to him. He watched in confusion as she stopped in front of him.
"Yes? Can I hel-?"
"Yes! I want to ask you something…" She took both his hands in hers, causing him to let out a squeak. He turned red as he stared at the girl.
He failed to notice the way Uraraka was staring at their hands.
"…Can you make babies with me?!"
Everything turned black.
….
Five minutes later, Midoriya felt water on his face, waking him up from his fainting spell. He looked up to see the Water Sage kneeling beside him, a sphere of water in his hands. The Lightning Sage was taking the water and splashing him a little.
He let out a groan as he felt a warmth around his abdomen…however, both sages were near his face. A few wisps of pink hair was filling his vision along with warm hands…
Where-
Where was that girl touching?!
Midoriya barely heard Uraraka's panicked stuttering over the sound of his heartbeat in his ears. Iida was trying to speak as well, but the girl only pressed down harder, causing him to let out a squeak. Zelda gave him calm little croons as she hovered over his body.
An explosion echoed through the area and a familiar blonde girl shoved herself through the sea of females.
Kacchan!
The blonde girl stopped, watching the scene with a blank expression…before letting pure rage enter her red eyes. "Hey! Target-Lock! What are you doing on top of Deku?!"
The girl let out a good-natured laugh as she continued her ministrations. "I'm feeling his muscles. I'm trying to find out the proper measurements for my inventions! After all, he's the perfect specimen to help me with them-especially with him being a male."
She felt along his arms one more time. "Your physique is amazing. I'm sure that with a few more modifications to my zap-suit, we can start testing after the festival! I really want to start now, though!" She took out a notepad from behind her back and wrote some numbers down.
She got up and gave Midoriya a smile. "Thanks for the data, friend!" With that, she ran off.
….
Midoriya trembled faintly, "Is-she's gone now, right?" Uraraka walked up to him, gently pulling him up. He gulped as the whole experience came crashing down. Iida wordlessly handed him a water bottle.
Nodding his thanks, he took a sip. "That was so scary…" A scruff on the back of his head gave him a jolt. Uraraka glared at the blonde, but Kacchan ignored her, intensely staring at Midoriya.
"You can't be scared all the time, you stupid nerd!" He laughed quietly, rubbing the back of his head. "Y-Yeah, I know…"
"Midoriya…" The male and three girls looked up at the half-red, half-white-haired girl. Ignoring the other girls, she pointed to one of the tunnels in the arena.
"…May I talk to you? Alone?"
Midoriya nodded, wordlessly opening his arms for Zelda to cuddle in. Uraraka touched his arm in concern.
"You don't have to go right now, Midoriya. You can take a breather." He gave her a shaky smile.
"I know Uraraka. D-Don't worry-it's just for a talk." Iida nodded, straightening her glasses.
"Of course, Midoriya-kun. Uraraka-san. Bakugou-san. Let's go-it's not proper to spy on other classmates' conversations." She turned around and walked off, Uraraka following her. Kacchan just let out an irritated 'tch' and stormed off in the opposite direction.
Midoriya followed the girl, watching her red/white hair lightly waving with every step she took-it was kind of hypnotizing in a way. He felt the Lightning Sage give him a knowing look. Midoriya ignored it, willing his embarrassed flush to dissipate.
"We'll talk here-no one will bother us." They faced each other-Midoriya on one side of the hall, Todoroki on the other.
"Todoroki-san. Wh-what did you want to talk about?" Her heterochromatic eyes narrowed as she thought about what she wanted to say.
"I noticed during the race…you unlocked new abilities didn't you? The strength you used…your hits…they're almost like All Mights'…no…" She took a step closer.
"Exactly like All Mights'." Midoriya gulped quietly, trying and failing to show no expression on his face. Zelda lightly growled at the intensity of her questions.
"So tell me…"
Midoriya clutched Zelda tighter. His invisible avatars grew tense, clutching onto their weapons.
"…are you All Might's secret love child?"
Zelda stopped growling, ending with a 'mew?'
All the avatars fell down in surprise.
Midoriya blinked at the girl in astonished disbelief.
Am I..?
Huh?!
