The Last Knight
Chapter Four: School Spirit
It was another day at school. Today, the students were sat on the bleachers attending a pep rally, a banner hanging saying Awesome Opossums, along with various captions on the banner that read "PLEASE TRY!", "GO TEAM!", and "DON'T PLAY DEAD!", as well as several students cheering and a beach ball bouncing among the crowd.
Speaking of crowd, the trio of Richard, Marco and Star were sat in the bleachers along with the other students, Alfonzo sitting near the trio and just near them was Miss Skullnick and Emmitt, the minotaur monster they had hooked up with her, the monster couple enjoying a bucket of fried chicken together, and while Marco and Richard seemed indifferent, Star was beyond excited.
"Oh, my gosh! I can't wait, I can't wait!" Star exclaimed. "My very first pep rally! I am so excited!"
She then bumped the incoming beach ball high into the air, inadvertently making a small, rabbit-like creature appear from her wand. Marco picked the small creature up by its ears, both him and Richard looking at Star with raised eyebrows.
"When aren't you excited?" Marco deadpanned.
"And do you even know what a pep rally entails?" Richard added.
"Shh." Star hissed, pushing a finger to Marco's lips, the Hispanic boy frowning and the little creature vanishing.
Standing before the students was Principal Skeeves, holding a microphone as he addressed the students. "And now, Brittney Wong, who became head cheerleader on her own and not because her dad made a generous donation to the school."
"Sure, totally didn't buy her way in because she's a talentless hack." Richard said, rolling his eyes, then chuckled as the principal was hit in the head with the beach ball.
With that, the Echo Creek Academy spirit committee ran out, 'Go, Echo Creek! Let's try not to get beat!', carrying Brittney Wong. She was a Chinese-American girl with light skin, waist-length black hair, brown eyes, pink lipstick and black mascara. She was wearing her cheerleader uniform, the uniform itself being yellow with a white stripe (containing the school's initials) and red trim and featured a pleated skirt, socks with red stripes, and red and white shoes.
The spirit committee came to a stop, allowing Brittney to walk down on them like stairs, the head cheerleader snatching the microphone from the principal before turning to the crowd.
"Make some noise if you love the Awesome Opossums!" She declared through the microphone.
The crowd cheered loudly, Star gasping with excitement.
"I love opossums! They carry their babies on their backs!"
"You know she's talking about our football team, right?" Marco told her.
"Yeah, we're going up against the Warriors." Richard added, shuddering.
"Warriors?" Star repeated quizzically.
"Our rivals from Silver Hill Prep." Alfonzo clarified.
"Every year, their team slaughters our guys." Marco said.
"They're lucky to be put in the hospital, if not in the dirt." Richard said, shaking his head.
"It's gonna be a bloodbath." Miss Skullnick said from behind before pulling a whole chicken skeleton out of her mouth.
"Absolute massacre." Emmit nodded, chewing on a chicken wing.
"That's terrible! We must do something!" Star declared.
"Well, you could join the Spirit Committee." Marco suggested. "Those kids are relentless when it comes to supporting the team." He pointed at the field, one of the cheerleaders, Ed, doing a split while holding a pair of pennants. "Relentless."
"What a great idea! We better pick up some supplies!"
Star took hold of Marco's arm, but the Hispanic boy pulled his arm out of the sleeve of his hoodie.
"As fun as that sounds, you can go without me."
Star was silent for a moment before smiling. "Okay!" She went up to Skullnick and Emmit, whispering, "Hey, Skullzy, Emmit. What's your favorite weapon?"
"Battleaxe."
"Greatsword." Emmit said, picking up a drumstick and pulling the bone from the meat before feeding the meat to Skullnick. "A nice, long blade to cleave enemies in half."
Star clicked her teeth before darting off, Richard watching before getting up.
"You know what, I'll go with her." He said. "Someone needs to keep her out of trouble."
As Richard went after the princess, Brittney went on with the announcement.
"And now, our new mascot... that I never approved of... The Awesome Opossum!"
The Awesome Opossum hopped onto the field, dressing in a raggedy possum costume.
"Woo-hoo! Alright!" The mascot cheered. "Come on, Opossu—" Suddenly, the bottom half of the Opossum's costume fell, revealing the wearer's underwear. "Oh, no."
Marco sat up at this, raising an eyebrow. "Where's the real possum? Did the Warriors steal it again? Those jerks!"
"Sadly, the real possum wasn't playing possum." Alfonzo said with a frown.
"Oh."
The Awesome Opossum mascot continued to dance. "I hiss, I bite, I shake my tail all night!" He did a pose, the mouth of the costume pulling back a bit to reveal Ferguson's face.
"Hey, that's Ferguson!" Marco pointed out.
"He's our new mascot!" Alfonzo declared.
Marco's eyes widened in realization. "Oh, no! That means the Warriors are gonna steal him!"
"Oh, that's silly." Alfonzo said with a shake of his head.
"The only thing that's silly is how the Warriors are gonna look when they try to steal my friend!"
Meanwhile, Star was running through the school hallway before she skidded to a stop in front of a trophy case that housed pictures of former Awesome Opossums team members.
She sighed. "So many brave young men. So many tragic losses."
She breathed on the glass and drew a sad face in the condensation. All the while, Richard watched, having caught up to her.
'Football must be brutal in Mewni.' Richard thought before speaking. "So, I reckon sports in your world involve quite a lot of casualties."
"Like you wouldn't believe." Star sighed before turning to Richard. "How can we prevent another tragic loss to our team?"
Thinking for a moment, Richard said, "Well, if I knew anything about football, I'd use the element of surprise."
"Of course, of course, of course..."
"Spritz 'em! Bring out the kitty cat offense!"
"Yes?"
"Maybe even throw a couple big bombs!"
"Bombs! Yeah, I've gotta go tell that to the Spirit Committee." She exclaimed before grabbing Richard's arm and dragged him along. "Come on!"
Just as the two Mewmans ran off, Marco was sneaking through the hallway, his back against the wall.
"Alpha Team one, commencing security sweep for the Warriors. Over." He said into an imaginary wristwatch.
He continued sneaking through the hall, shimmying against the walls and rolling on the floor until he was next to the trophy case.
"We have an all-clear. Move! Move! Move!" He whisper yelled.
Alfonzo pushed Ferguson across the hall, the overweight boy seeming quite annoyed.
"Ugh, this is not the respect a guy in a possum suit deserves." He complained.
Meanwhile, in the gymnasium, Brittney was going through some exercises with the spirit committee, or rather, she was lounging around in a chair with her feet propped up while giving orders.
"Don't worry, Sabrina." She said through a megaphone at the girl on the trampoline. "The Spirit Boys are gonna catch you. Grow some pompoms!"
Taking a literal leap of faith, Sabrina jumped on the trampoline and flipped through the air.
Suddenly, Star kicked the doors into the gym, followed by Richard, causing the Spirit Boys to get distracted and causing Sabrina to land with a hard thud.
"What the?" Brittney did a double take as Star walked right past her and taking one of Andrea's pompoms.
"Do these explode?" She asked before pulling the handle off the pompom like a grenade pin and throwing it at Ed. It lightly hit his face.
"Star, that's not how pompoms work." Richard deadpanned as he approached.
"Maybe we can set them on fire!" Star said, taking the other pompom and readying her wand.
"We're talking about football, right?" Richard asked.
"Uh, we're kinda in the middle of something?" Brittney said, glaring at Star with her arms crossed, but softened the minute she looked at Richard. "Hi, Richie~."
"Brittney." Richard said flatly, stepping away.
"You're the leader. What's the plan?" Star said, pointing her wand at the hack cheerleader.
Brittney gave a curt laugh. "This year we have a secret weapon." She said with confidence.
"Yeah, like that hides the fact that you suck at cheerleading." Richard said under his breath.
Brittney snapped her fingers before being joined by two other cheerleaders.
"We're gonna distract them with our booty-shaking dance moves." She said as she and the other two cheerleaders turned and started shaking their butts. "Uh-huh."
Star stared and blushed at the display, while Richard looked disgusted.
"What are you training for? Cheerleading or prostitution?" Richard cringed.
"Do you know nothing of combat?!" Star chastised them. "No Warrior is gonna be distracted by Chantal's booty!"
"Wha...?" Chantal said in disbelief.
"Lucky for you, the Captain of the Guard was my babysitter." Star declared, chuckling as she remembered the days of the royal guard captain teaching her self-defense from a young age.
Years ago…
"Now remember, Star." Captain Vera Lousa, a middle-aged woman with short, raven black hair, instructed a young Star, the captain holding a stuffed teddy bear. "You'll know when you did it right, when you hear the neck snap, like this."
She demonstrated the neck snap on a teddy bear, with some stuffing popping out.
"YAY!" Young Star cheered, hopping and clapping with joy.
Present day…
Richard blinked at this. "Royal Guards babysitting…sure, why not?" He shrugged.
Brittney, on the other hand, was not impressed.
"I know on planet 'Moo-ni' or wherever it is you're from, it may be okay to be stupid," She said in that obnoxious condescending tone that annoyed Richard greatly. "But no pesky magical foreigner is gonna question my leadership! You are officially banned from the spirit committee!" She said that with a whip of her hair, but her tone did a complete one eighty when she looked at Richard. "Except you, Richie. You can stay as long as you want~." She leaned towards him, batting her eyelashes at him.
Unbeknownst to them, as Brittney got close, the gemstone around Richard's neck glowed faintly once more, similar to when Pony Head was close.
"Yeah, we're outta here!"
Quickly, the Belmont boy grabbed hold of Star's hand and pulled her out of the gym, quickly getting away from Brittney.
"Geez, that girl is the worst!" He let out an exasperated sigh.
"Don't care for Brittney much?" Star inquired.
"That would be putting it lightly." Richard rolled his eyes. "She's spoiled, vain, and cares more about herself! Not to mention she's been pinning for me for the longest time and I do my best to keep my distance."
"Still trying to pine for Jackie's affection?" Star asked, almost teasingly.
Richard refused to answer, his face turning red, before he changed the subject. "At any rate, Miss Mean Girl isn't gonna let us help any time soon."
"Fine! Looks like it's all up to us."
Back with Marco, the Hispanic boy was in the school parking lot with his two friends, trying to take precautions as to make sure Ferguson didn't get kidnapped.
"Okay, if a Warrior tries to kidnap you, blow on this stranger danger whistle." Marco instructed, holding up a whistle.
"This is ridiculous." Ferguson said, clearly annoyed. "I just wanted to dress up like a possum to pick up on ladies."
"Hey! This whistle's gonna save your life!" Marco insisted before he began trying to bring it to his friend's mouth. "Put it in your mouth! Do it!"
"No!" Ferguson resisted, trying to push the whistle away.
"Oh, dear." Alfonzo said, watching.
"Blow it!"
"Never! You get it away from me!"
"Let me hear you blow!"
"Get that whistle away from me!"
Off to the side, Star and Richard were looking into a dumpster, seeing four stray cats seen eating thrown-out food.
"Poor little guys." Richard said with sympathy. "Barely able to find scraps to eat."
"You guys ready to be part of my kitty cat offense?" Star asked with a big smile.
One of the cats looked at her, missing an eye, letting out a meow before going back to eating discarded food.
"Well, looks like they've chosen the hard way." Richard said.
Nodding, Star got up on the edge of the dumpster. "Kitty!"
Richard watched her jump in the dumpster, the dumpster shaking from the struggling ensuing as the cats yowled, trying to get away, before the lid closed. The Belmont boy then noticed bursts of magic within the gaps.
"Not sure what this has to do with football, but okay."
Later, it was dusk, and Marco was at home, having brought Ferguson and Alfonzo, the Hispanic boy peaking through the blinds of his bedroom window suspiciously.
"Why can't I go home?!" Ferguson whined, annoyed by Marco's paranoia. "Dude, it's Taco Wednesday. It's the day we eat all the leftovers from Taco Tuesday!"
"Because your house would be the first place the Warriors would look when they try to kidnap you!" Marco argued.
"It kinda feels like you're trying to kidnap me." The overweight boy deadpanned.
"I'd watch that talk if you ever want to see your parents again." Marco said in a menacing tone.
Suddenly, Marco's bedroom door swung open, Richard running in with a look on his face.
"Marco, Marco! Check this out!" He declared with excitement. "I've been some doing experimenting and I think I've created a new spell!"
"Really?" Marco said, raising an eyebrow. "Man, you're really getting into this magic stuff, huh?"
"Oh, I'm just getting started, bro!" Richard declared. "Now, watch this!"
The Belmont boy then clapped his hands together once, holding them in place, Marco and his two friends waiting for something to happen.
"Uh, is something supposed to happen?" Alfonzo asked.
"It's a spell for defense." Richard said. "Alright, bro; hit me?"
"What?" Marco did a double take.
"Hit me." Richard repeated. "I wanna test how strong it is."
Marco seemed unsure, but went along with it, punching his brother in the stomach, making him double over.
"Wait, that wasn't supposed to happen." He groaned.
"Well, what was supposed to happen?" Marco asked.
Richard quickly recovered, getting back up. "Hold on, give me a second." He clapped his hands again, this time, he concentrated with more magic, his body glowing with magic, and oddly enough, the sound of a bell sounded.
"Okay, hit me now!"
Marco raised a brow, then shrugged, and threw a punch to the stomach. This time, however, his fist felt like it made contact with a giant bell, nearly breaking his hand and making his hold his hand in pain, even making the sound of a bell.
"What the heck was that?!" He gasped in pain.
"I call it 'Chrome Bell'." Richard declared proudly. "It protects me with a protective barrier that can block, or at least decrease, any damage." He then placed a hand on Ferguson, encasing him with a protective barrier. "I can also place it on other people too!"
"Does this mean I can go home now?" Ferguson asked. "Seriously, your bro is getting mad with paranoia, dude!"
"Marco!"
Hearing the call coming from outside, Marco opened the window blinds, seeing Star hanging off a power line while holding a squirrel by its tail.
"Hey, Marco, do you have any highly flammable liquid?" The princess from another world asked.
"I don't know. Check the garage." Marco replied.
"Cool, thanks!" She said before dropping down, pulling the squirrel down with her.
"That's concerning." Richard remarked as Marco closed the blinds.
"Man, I bet I could get a lot of action if I had a real prehensile tail." Ferguson said, holding up the tail of his costume.
"Oh, yeah." Alfonzo nodded.
"Hey, ladies, you care for a drink? Wha!"
Ferguson flicked his tail like a whip, hitting the open soda can on the desk by accident and dropping it on Marco's laptop, the soda spilling onto it and shorting it out, the screen flashing before turning to black. The four boys stood in shock and silence, before Richard spoke up.
"I'll see if Star can teach me a laptop cleaning spell."
It was nighttime, and time for the big football game, the stands filled with crowds cheering for their respective teams, Richard watching from the entrance, seeing the Spirit Committee doing their 'booty shake' distraction, making the Belmont Boy roll his eyes.
"Total hack."
Seeing the Opossums about to enter the field, Richard secretly preparing the Chrome Bell spell before holding his hand out for a high five.
"Good luck out there, Opossums! Try not to die!"
After casting the spell on the Opossum members via high five, he returned to the bleachers, sitting next to Jackie, who was holding a bag of popcorn, the two then seeing the Warriors coming out to the field and already warming up, one of them cracking his neck and laughing. The Opossums watched in fear, and one of them fainted.
"See, that's exactly why I never joined any sports teams." Richard told the blonde next to him. "Right there, that's the reason. People take these things way too seriously."
"Yeah, no kidding." Jackie nodded, eating some of the popcorn.
Next to the bleachers, Marco was standing with Alfonzo and Ferguson, doing everything he can to make sure the mascot didn't get abducted, even seeming suspicious when a little girl ran past.
"It's almost game time, and thanks to me, no Warriors have even gotten close to you." Marco declared confidently, patting his friend on the chest, who still looked annoyed.
Suddenly, Star appeared behind them with a yell, causing them to yell in fright. The princess was dressed in armor and holding a spiked mace.
"Who's ready for a bloody, bloody bloodbath?" She asked before slamming her mace into the dirt and letting out a maniacal laugh.
"What's with that crazy look in your eyes?" Marco asked with concern.
"What do you mean?" Star asked in turn, her eyes red and bloodshot.
"Watch Ferguson." He said to Alfonzo. "I need to talk to Princess Cuckoo Pants."
Marco pulls Star, the princess dragging her mace through the dirt, Ferguson and Alfonzo watching before two Warriors appeared from behind the bleachers and abduct Ferguson.
"Stranger danger! STRANGER DANGER!" The mascot yelled, blowing into the whistle, while Alfonzo only watched helplessly.
"Okay, Star, what are you up to?"
"Exactly what you said." Star said, picking up her mace, which was actually her wand, and propping it on her shoulder. "I booby-trapped the battlefield."
"WHAT?!"
Looking out onto the battlefield, he saw that it was laced with landmines, pitfall traps, and laser sensors. Marco stood stunned, and he couldn't believe what Star had done.
"RICHARD BELMONT DIAZ!" He yelled. "GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE!"
Cringing at the sound of his brother yelling his full name, Richard quickly approached.
"Everything good, bro?" He asked nervously.
"Good? GOOD?!" Marco said in outrage. "I thought you were supposed to keep an eye on Star and keep her out of trouble!"
"That's exactly what I did!" Richard stammered. "I thought this was how she played football in Mewni!"
"Wait, whaaat?" Star said in confusion.
Marco facepalmed before turning to Star. "STAR!... The Warriors weren't actually gonna kill our team! They were just gonna beat them in football! Which is a game!"
Star's face fell as realization fell upon her. "Ohhhhh..."
The referee blew his whistle, signaling the game to start. The Warriors started the kickoff, kicking the ball during kickoff, and setting off a landmine, causing a rainbow colored explosion. The Opossums team watched in shock, football landing in Justin's hands, charred. He dropped the ball, before he and the Opossums scattered about the field in fear. The crowds start to scatter as well before chaos erupted. One of the Warriors was pulled into a blue vortex. Ed had set off another landmine and went flying through the air.
Richard, Marco and Star stared in shock, Star remaining worried, guilty on what she had done.
"Oh, no. Everything's going according to plan." She said in terror.
"You think?!" Richard snapped.
The referee blew his whistle again and tripped over a tripwire. The end zone lifted up, and various creatures came out from underground, including giant magical squirrels and three-eyed firecats.
"Let me guess, the kitty cat offense?" Marco said, looking at the two.
Star chuckled nervously, huddling behind her mace.
"How'd you know?" Richard asked.
Before he could answer, Marco saw a giant squirrel chasing some of the Warriors.
"We have to do something!" He yelled, running off to help them, Richard following behind.
Star briefly hesitated on what to do before running towards the chaos, returning briefly to retrieve her mace.
Marco dodged exploding landmines and slammed his foot on a giant squirrel's tail, stopping it in its tracks. He got in front of the squirrel and kicked its face as it got up again. Another one tried to charge at him, only for Richard to rush in and slam his shield against the firecat's head, knocking it to the side.
"Alright! Dudes, you are awesome!" One of the Warriors cheered.
"Uh, thanks, bro." Marco said sheepishly.
"Save the thanks for when we're out of danger!" Richard yelled.
As if to prove his point, a magical bird swooped down and picked up one of the Warriors. A giant squirrel pounced on Marco before Richard batted it away with his shield. Marco got up and the brothers stood back-to-back, as two of the giant squirrels surrounded them.
Star was trying to pull a Warrior from the vortex when she saw this.
"Marco! Richard!"
"Go! I'll take over from here!" Jackie called, pulling the Warrior out.
Letting Jackie save the Warrior, Star picked up her mace and sprung into action to save her two male friends, jumping into the air and pulling her mace apart to reveal her magic wand inside.
"Mending Heart Hurricane!"
She fired a magical beam at the monsters, turning them back into normal squirrels, one of them gnawing on Marco's head before running off.
The Spirit Committee was running away screaming, with Brittney Wong shoving the others aside.
"Out of my way! I am too pretty to die!" Brittney yelled, pushing everyone out of the way, only to fall over when something burrowed underneath her, then emerged from the ground to reveal to be a giant magical snake creature. Brittney tried to crawl away, only for the creature to snag her up by her hair, shaking her around before throwing her up in the air, then catching her in its mouth.
"Mending Heart Hurricane!"
Star fired another magic beam at it, turning the giant snake back into hundreds of normal worms, freeing the hack cheerleader. Back on the ground, Brittney spat out snake saliva.
Marco and Richard jumped in to save some of the Warriors from the firecats, Marco kicking two of them and Richard batting one away with his shield, but the two brothers were soon surrounded by firecats and giant squirrels.
"Nuclear Heart Healing Hurricane!"
Star dropped out of the sky and fired a large version of the beam she was firing, turning all of the monsters back to normal with a wide blast of magic. The cats and squirrels scattered.
"So much for the kitty cat offense." Richard remarked.
During the chaos, two of the Warriors were still carrying Ferguson away.
"Come on, fellas! Can't we discuss this man to possum?!" Ferguson pleaded, regretting not listening to Marco.
Just then, the Warriors stepped on one of Star's landmines, blowing them away and freeing Ferguson.
Marco restrained another monster, a moth creature and Star fired the mending beam at it, turning it back to a normal moth.
"Hey, Marco, you were right! They were trying to kidnap me!"
Marco, Star and Richard saw Ferguson running towards them, unknowingly towards a landmine in his path.
"Ferguson, get off the field!" Marco yelled.
"You're running right into a landmine!" Richard added with a yell.
"What?! I can't hear you through all the explosions!"
Ferguson, unable to hear the warnings, ran right onto a landmine, setting off and causing and explosion.
"Ferguson!" Marco screamed, rushing to his friend, who laid on the ground, smoldering. "No, buddy! I'm sorry! I failed you!" He cried as he hugged Ferguson's apparently dead body. "Forgive me!"
Suddenly, Ferguson opened his eyes and smiled. "Dude! I was just playing possum!"
"Huh?" Marco looked at him in disbelief.
"It's what we do!"
"You're alive!" Marco declared in relief before roughly shaking him. "This is why you only have two friends!"
With the chaos died down, the football field was ruined. One of the uprights fell over, one of the Warriors picking himself up out of a crater. Brittney sat in shock with her mascara running. A burnt Opossums banner falls.
Star looked out upon the destruction. "I've really messed up."
"You mean, we really messed up." Marco said, he and Richard both walking up to her. "I should've been watching out for you."
"And I probably should've done a better job at the supervision department." Richard sighed, rubbing the back of his head.
Star smiled at this.
"Let's get outta here!" One of the Warriors yelled in terror.
Every Warrior dashed off the field and onto their school bus, then it sped away.
Justin took off his helmet. "Hey, they just forfeited. We win!"
The crowd stood up from cowering and cheered, the Opossums cheering at their victory before picking up Star, Marco, Richard and Ferguson.
"I'll accept it, cause I'm too tired to argue!" Richard declared.
"Woo-hoo!" Star cheered before thinking for a moment. "Huh... Why do I have this weird feeling I'm forgetting something?"
A giant magical bird swooped down and snatched Marco, the Hispanic boy screaming as he was carried off.
"That was it." Star said, pointing.
Meanwhile, back on Mewni, things were relatively quiet, as Moon watched the sun set from her castle balcony, a worried expression on her face. She was certain that her daughter would be safe on Earth and learn how to control her magic abilities.
But at the moment, that wasn't the only thing on her mind.
"Everything alright, my dear?" River asked, walking up to her and standing at her side.
"I'm not too certain, River." Moon sighed. "I just can't shake the feeling about something."
"You don't have to worry about Star, love." River assured. "She's currently safe and in-"
"It's not Star that I'm worried about, not right now." The queen said. "It's about that Richard boy. He looked so…familiar."
"Perhaps I could provide the answer."
The king and queen turned in surprise at the unexpected guest, wearing a beige cloak.
"What the?! Who are you?!" River demanded, about to draw his sword, before Moon stopped him.
"Wait, River." She said, looking back at the stranger. "This is…"
There was silence before the stranger removed their hood, revealing to be a woman in her forties with fair skin, violet eyes and purple hair with a streak of pink that reached her hip. She also had eight pointed stars on her cheeks.
The moment the stranger removed her hood, Moon recognized her.
"Twilight?!" She gasped.
"It's good to see you again…Sister." Twilight smiled.
In joy, Moon jumped at her with a hug, River watching in confusion as Twilight spun around, holding Moon by the waist.
"What's going on here?" He asked, utterly confused.
Once the sisters calmed down, Moon made the introductions. "River, dear, meet Twilight," Moon introduced, gesturing to Twilight. "My secret sister and former bodyguard."
"It's a pleasure to meet you officially, my King." Twilight said, bowing respectfully.
River blinked at this; confusion still evident on his face. "Moon, what is the meaning of this?" He asked his wife. "Why wasn't I aware of this?"
"It was part of an agreement we made." Moon said with a serious tone. "A blood oath to never speak of it outside of a close circle."
"But why?" River asked.
"I'm afraid I can say no more on the matter." Twilight told him.
River looked like he wanted to press the matter further, but he decided against it.
"At any rate, I have a favor to ask, sister." Twilight said, turning to Moon. "Something of great importance to me."
And there's the new chapter! Well, not much here besides Richard joining on the fun. But now we have the reveal of a new OC of mine; Twilight, sister to Moon Butterfly and someone connected to Richard. She'll be playing an interesting role throughout the story as we go along. Another is Captain Vera Lousa, captain of the Royal Guard! She's gonna be interesting to explore. Thanks for the suggestion, Guest.
Next up will be the Monster Arm episode. Honestly, I was considering skipping it since it didn't add much, besides introduce the little turd named Jeremy (correct me if I'm wrong), but then I was struck with inspiration. Instead of Marco, it will revolve around Richard. And instead of a monster arm, his whole body gets transformed to look like a certain monster king and hints more about Richard's bloodline. So be looking forward to that.
At any rate, hope you all enjoyed and stay tuned for more! Reviews and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
